Klein/Ally Show: The Podcast - Sanctuaryyyy!!!!! (FULL SHOW 9/15)

Episode Date: September 15, 2026

Ally's back after a long weekend away at a big gay wedding. And yes, she cleaned out the buffet. On the flight home a couple with a baby asked her the dreaded question: would you mind switching seats ...with us so we can sit together? It would have put Ally further back on the plane in a middle seat, so she said now. Is she an asshole? We shared the embarrassing contents of our Google search history today. Who on the show Googled "can dwarfs get pregnant?" Bad things come in threes, but what about fours? To give away tickets to all four of our upcoming SoundSpace performances we heard from people who have done impressive things in groups of four (four marriages, four arrests, etc). We heard from a guy missing four fingers, a woman who was arrested four times in one month, and a very emotional woman who just broke up with her boyfriend for the fourth time. Plus some audio of Moist Joyce being incredibly wasted at a bar which resulted in her licking Jake's leg, the annoying new trend of Wellness Darties (aka daytime parties), and Johnny's worst JASON report yet.

Starting point is 00:00:00 We'll get into an episode of Klein Alley Show in just a moment, but in the meantime, let's tell you about our absolute favorite place on the planet. Yep, that would be San Bernardino International Airport, where you can go through the airport process without waiting in long lines and overpaying for parking. Quick connections to the Bay Area and the world, plus ski and snowboard in Provo from San Bernardino all winter long. Every other airport, you're going to be in long TSA lines, you're going to be miserable, you're going to say, oh, I got to get there two, three hours before my flight.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Not at San Bernardino International Airport. And now we send you on a direct flight into our podcast, which starts right now. Hey, what's going on, Clown and Allie? Are you ready? We're back. Hello, Clown and Allie, you little bitch. Clown and Allie, it's just okay. Just don't let things bother you too much.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Good morning, everybody. Hey, what up, Clown and Allie? Whoa, sweet divot steak, did you see that? We have a Clown and Allie show. Let's get the show started. The show started. The show started. We are live in Los Angeles!
Starting point is 00:01:00 Three, two, one! And here we go. It's Klein Alley Show. Low 6.7, KROQFM in HD Pasadena, Los Angeles, Orange County. The Sonic Pulse of Los Angeles. This is the world famous K-Rock. Alright, welcome to your Tuesday here at K-Rock. We are Klein Alley Show.
Starting point is 00:01:23 Should be a decent one today. If you want to win stuff from us, we've got stuff for you. And if you're just here to hang out, we're cool with that as well. The number to join, to interact, to text, or to call 800-520-1067 or 323-TIP-BOLI if you're nasty. That is an alley right there. Back at it again today after taking another one of her Mondays off. Oh, man. She's a real take the Monday off situation.
Starting point is 00:01:45 I'm the Monday-er and you're the Friday-er. Hey, we can't agree on what this four-day work week should look like, so we're just going to go ahead and split the difference. You get three days a week of both of us. I was explaining yesterday, as best I could, and I don't really know the details, but you were at an El Cheapo wedding because the wedding, they tried to cheap out in multiple ways. One of the ways was to get your son to sit on your lap during the entire dinner rather than get him his own seat. The other way was to do a Sunday afternoon wedding. Sunday evening, yes. Evening wedding.
Starting point is 00:02:11 At a museum, a nature museum, and there was only one bar, so the line was incredibly long. How many guests? Oh, over 200. Oh, what? So many people. With one bar? With one bar. Where do you think you would have been on that?
Starting point is 00:02:27 Like, I'm curious on that list. Were you closer to the 200 number or were you closer to the 100 number? On the scale? On the scale of importance. On an actual scale, I'm closer to the 200 number. On an actual scale, it says 200 pounds. But if they were to cut that guest list in half, would you have made it? I'll tell you.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Would you have made it? So I not only thought it was surprising that we were invited, but we were invited and we were at the table, the first friend table next to family. Oh, you think that means you're important because of where the table was? We were the like family table. What does that mean, like family? Well, we were right next to, it wasn't circular tables. It was one long thing, like one long rectangle. We were next to relatives.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Relatives. So we were the first group of friends. So you believe had that been cut down to 100 people, you still would have made the cut? I think so, which kind of shocked me, to be honest. What's interesting about Allie is that I've known you for a long time. And I'm not important. You are not. And also, you will go to any wedding you're invited to, regardless if you feel like you should go or not.
Starting point is 00:03:29 There are certain weddings I've been invited to where I assume this was an obligatory invite. I understand why they sent it. I will decline with regrets or whatever and move on with my life, and everyone will be happy. You will accept anything. I don't think you've ever even realized there's a second box you can check for decline. I think you have accepted every invite you've ever gotten. I'm there, and I'm there in spirit. I'm there, baby.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Yeah, Ali is as there as there gets. But in this situation, we are best friends with the sister, the maid of honor. It has nothing to do with it. That's crazy. So that's why we're friends with the sister who was getting married. But also, I think we got priority because we're gay, and they were gay getting married. So we were inspo for them because both of them, they were straight, both of them. They turned gay, found each other.
Starting point is 00:04:14 And I think that we are like the exemplary gays. We're like the mama gays passing on the gay torch. You're not the exemplary anything. You think you're the exemplary gays? What does that even mean? We led by gay example to these baby gays who are now having a wonderful life. If there's one exemplary gay on this show, it's a guy by the name of Johnny. That's the exemplary gay.
Starting point is 00:04:33 He was invited too, actually. I believe so. Well, anyway, it's good to have you back here. I'm sure we'll find out all about that. We've got lots to give you as well, so go nowhere. Let's start things off with some Nine Inch Nails on your KROQ. Time to make Allie hurt in the pocket. And all you've got to do is call and claim it, her $100,
Starting point is 00:04:49 if you know things about the news or even if you know more than she does. And she's out of it right now. She was just saying off the air, oh, traveling, sick, wedding. I know you weren't drinking at the wedding because you're pregnant, but how many drinks did you have for real? I had one glass of wine. Nice. How'd that hit?
Starting point is 00:05:04 Felt nice. Yeah. Felt nice. And it complimented the tacos, the 15 tacos I ate very well. So if you would like to, Hallie was all mad in the email last night. She goes, I don't like when the buffet people tell me how much buffet I can take. And I'm like, oh, man. Nobody likes that.
Starting point is 00:05:18 I'm like, fat Hallie. What the hell? That never happens. When the workers go, what are you having? I'll decide. Hand me the spoon. Maybe that person was put on duty for you. No, you know what happened is he's deciding where things go on my plate.
Starting point is 00:05:31 He decided to put my beans inside of my rice. What's that about? Allie's white. Did you not see her skin? I mean, it's fine, but let me do that. I'm deciding where I want to put stuff. Allie believes the white rice and the beans need to be separated. She's a big fan of that.
Starting point is 00:05:46 And everyone else, he said, how many tacos? And they said two, and then I felt bad saying four. Right. So anyway, fat Allie's back in a big way, baby. So take her money now while you can before she explodes. Don't you agree with me where even if it's like a little cut of meat or whatever, you have to direct them? You should be able to cut it yourself and figure out exactly how much you want. Not first time around.
Starting point is 00:06:07 There has to be enough food for everybody. Yeah, because if you come through first in the line, then there goes the buffet. Oh, I was first in line because you know what they did? They did old people and children first. So I went right up there with my kid who ate nothing. Right. Get in the goddamn line. And I had a plate for him too, which I ate.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Mommy needs her 20 tacos. You get in the line. If you want Allie's money, take it from her. She's a terrible person. The very least she can do is give you her money. 800-520-10675. Questions about things happening in the world. If you do better than Allie, she will pay you, and let's do that.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Yesterday, you'll be happy to know, Allie, Vanessa stood in, and she protected your money. Oh, thank you. Good. Thank you, Vanessa. I really need it. The rest of us, we're all going to throw it and make sure the listeners won, but Vanessa decided to try to actually play the game, and she ended up shockingly winning. I haven't added up how much money I've spent over the last few days on this wedding, but
Starting point is 00:06:57 it's a lot, so thank you. I appreciate it. Every little bit helps. Was the gift cash, or did you give her some stupid money? I actually haven't even done it yet. I'm going to do the, I'm sure there's like a honey fund or whatever I have to contribute to. I need to do that today. So I guess we're going to find out if Allie's going to give $100 less to this person whose wedding she just went to.
Starting point is 00:07:12 You know it. Before it's going to go to you. 800-520-1067. Call now. Play next on KROG. Easy 100 bucks could be yours if you call right now. 800-520-1067. We have five questions about things in the news.
Starting point is 00:07:25 And all you have to do is know a few of those things. Do better than Allie and she will instantly pay you $100. So you get to start your Tuesday morning with extra cash in your pocket. If you want in, call now, 800-520-1067. I want to clear out some phone lines so that you can actually call and play. We'll get to the game in a moment. Quickly, though, I want to say good morning to Josh, who's been hanging out on hold for a bit. What's up, Josh?
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah, hey, guys. Good morning. Good morning. I wanted to give you guys a call and give you guys an update. So me and my wife are with you guys in Colorado when we took the trip up there. uh we came back with uh an extra souvenir and we'd like to invite you to our baby shower next month oh let me guess what the souvenir is was it a snow globe uh you could call it that probably what it feels like in her stomach right now you uh you impregnated your wife on our um
Starting point is 00:08:19 ski trip to colorado uh i did wow you sound so disappointed first baby oh no i we i'm very excited yeah no yeah i did it it was great you sound tired now just went to the kids here i know jesus wait uh that's exciting how many times did you guys have sex on our trip uh probably like eight or nine times wow nice wow so that was the goal was to get pregnant and you achieved your goal uh well we were there on vacation from our existing children so you know you got to take advantage of the time yeah that's the one it's the one that catch right there is you got to get away from the kids so you got a couple nights in a hotel and then what are you going to do you end up accidentally or on purpose making more kids another one that you have to get
Starting point is 00:09:04 away from later vicious cycle i know i wonder if the sex is better at high altitude did you think so oh yeah it seemed like it yeah i could see why getting impregnated would be easier i wonder if There's a higher birth rate there. It goes faster. Yeah, I think it would move faster, easier for the less gravity for the sperm to swim against or something. We'll have to plan another trip there for research. Yeah, yeah, please do. Well, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:09:27 So when is your due date, your wife's due date? She's due December 6th. And is this a serious invitation to a baby shower? Yeah, if you guys would be willing to come, we'd be happy to have you. All right. Do you know it? For sure. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:42 We're all there. We're all there. Is there food? We're the plus ones. There will be food. I'll send you guys the information. Do you know what you're having? A girl.
Starting point is 00:09:52 I think she meant food. We're talking about the food spread. Yeah, the food. So tell me about the food situation. No, we don't know yet. Probably tacos. I have suggestions. I'll send you some.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Yeah, let us know when you have that figured out. We'll let you know if we can be there. Congratulations. It's always nice to be a part of the stories. That's incredible. Klein, I think we're a good luck charm because there was a couple that got pregnant at our thing in Vegas. Well, you say good luck as if these people were trying to get pregnant. I don't know if this guy was trying to get pregnant at all.
Starting point is 00:10:16 He said he's excited about it. He's got to say that now. He does not sound excited. Yeah, do you hear his voice? I'm excited. Yeah, no, trust me, I'm excited. Do you hear that guy's voice? Oh, no, guys, I'm definitely excited.
Starting point is 00:10:26 I'm up really early. We're on our way to a doctor's appointment right now, actually. Oh, cool. I sound so excited. Will you name the child something to do with our show? It could be based on someone on the show or one of the many inside terminologies that we use. Perhaps Wishy Poochins?
Starting point is 00:10:42 Wishy Poochins is a great name. I mean, Omar could give you a few options right now. I mean, would you do that for us? It would be the first official naming to happen as a result of this show. I think we're open to suggestions, but no promises. Chachi, you can get a whole lifetime of free Klein Alley show. Yeah, yeah, we'll give that to you for free for life. You gotta get Bo Jangles.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Bo Jangles is a great name. Great name, dude. Bo Jangles is a great name. Bo, and then the middle name is Jangles, and then the last name. So, listen, we're giving you options here. Omar, just hit a few more buttons. This guy will pick something up here. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Welcome to the Chocolate Factory. It's like going through a baby name book. Great. Chocolate Factory is a great name. Sweet. That's a strong name. Every gender works. Love that one.
Starting point is 00:11:25 There you go. Go ahead. Put that. Oh, this one's good. Emojin Poots. Oh, yeah. Already a famous name. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Love it. It is what it is. I will pass these on to my wife and see what she says. And then she'll slap me across the face. All right. Great. All right. Well, thank you.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Pleasure to meet you. Thanks for calling in. Now, we have to hang up and get your phone line back. Succulent. We need to get a call. Oh, that's a great name, too. They're all good. Any name could be a good name now.
Starting point is 00:11:48 There's no such thing as weird names anymore because they get weirder by the day. I feel like they're like, my name's Bojangles. All right. Yeah. You're the fifth Bojangles in class. It's recess. Danny, good morning. Welcome to KROQ.
Starting point is 00:12:02 These phones are all messed up again today. Hi. Hey, what's up, Danny? How you doing? Hi. You're going to battle Allie for her money. Listen closely. The rules are simple.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Allie will leave the KROQ studios. You will get a chance to answer these questions first. When she gets back in here, she'll go. If you do better than she does, you're $100 richer. Your round will begin as soon as Pregnant Allie waddles out of the K-Rock studios, which is happening right now, and here we go. Allie knows the news. Question number one.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Burger King is launching what accessory just in time for New York Fashion Week? um a magic wand a magic wand go to question number two why are people mad at sydney sweeney right now so much so that she's lost hundreds of thousands of followers in the last week uh maybe she posted something political political speaking of political we go to question number three right now. Which person was just thrown off of the Ed Sheeran tour for getting too political on stage?
Starting point is 00:13:10 Oh, man. Katy Perry. Go to question number four. For the first time in 46 years, California has to do something differently because they have officially run out of something. What have they run out of?
Starting point is 00:13:30 forcing them to do something differently? We've run out of money. Money. All right. And we go to final question, question number five. Let's go with this. What color was the carpet at the Emmys? Red.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Okay. Seems like a fair bet. Let's bring Allie in and we'll score it together. All technically stories in the news. There's lots of news in the world. It's hard to boil it all down to five questions, but I feel like we covered it pretty well with these. Allie is back in the KROQ studios now.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Here we go, protecting her own money. It could be yours if you beat her. Question one. Burger King is launching what accessory just in time for New York Fashion Week? I'm going to go with maybe like a royal robe. A robe. You know, because they've got the king,
Starting point is 00:14:22 and he's got a crown and a robe. If I know anything about high fashion, I know that Burger King is definitely involved in fashion. They are launching a limited edition chicken nugget-shaped purse. Ah. And you can get it, but it's very limited, and apparently they think it's going to be the hottest new accessory. Can you eat it?
Starting point is 00:14:41 No, you can't eat it, but I think it's a purse. It looks like a chicken nugget, and I think you can potentially even put chicken nuggets in the purse. Fashion. That's right. You said it, Vanessa. Nuggets. No one gets the point.
Starting point is 00:14:51 We go to question two. Why are people mad at Sydney Sweeney right now, so much so that she's lost hundreds of thousands of followers in the last week? Aren't people mad about her ad with that betting site? Ah, okay. I know a lot of Olympians and people were speaking out against it. Danny guessed that she said something political, but the correct answer is because of that very sexual gambling commercial. How is she losing hundreds of...
Starting point is 00:15:16 Don't worry, I'll make up for the loss. Yeah, I wouldn't worry about that if I was her. But it's all of these women that are saying she's now giving women a bad name and that sports is female as well. And that, you know, sports is... Anyway, it's a blah, blah, blah. Relax, people. You know, whatever. Just gazungas, man.
Starting point is 00:15:31 It's just balls. Why is she anti-women? A lot of female athletes are mad at her, specifically because they're claiming that she is, in some ways, making sports, you know, not... Once again, it doesn't matter. It's a gambling ad,
Starting point is 00:15:45 supposedly to probably try to appeal to... I'll be honest, I don't know the stats. I don't like how people assume that because she's using her sexuality that she's anti-woman. I don't like that either. It's a terrible narrative. It's a terrible narrative.
Starting point is 00:15:55 She's celebrating her amazing body. What's the problem with that? Without me actually knowing the numbers, I would have to guess that the amount, the percentage of men that are gambling on sports is probably 99.9% higher than the women that are gambling on sports. So they're trying to get guys to download the app. We're all talking about it. Big win.
Starting point is 00:16:14 And I don't know, for whatever reason, you know how it is in the world. Everyone roots for you. And then as soon as you get big. Well, I think people like to be mad at her. Right. So anyway, that's the correct answer. Ali gets the point. Speaking of political stuff, this man has just been kicked off the Ed Sheeran tour for getting
Starting point is 00:16:25 too political on stage. I believe that's Macklemore. Ah, Macklemore is the answer. She guessed Katy Perry, so you're not doing so great, Danny. Allie gets another point with two questions left. Here we go. Question number four. California has to do something differently after 46 years because they've officially run out of something.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Oh, yeah. What have they run out of? They've run out of license plate combinations. Ah, that is the correct. She said money. I'm sure California has been out of money for a while, but we still have a lot of it, but we just can't figure out how to spend it. Well, we'll just make more. So, license plate combinations, they're out of them.
Starting point is 00:16:58 They have no more, so they have to now rearrange it and go with letters first or numbers first. All I know is they got no more. The way it is, they got no more. Yeah, they're doing a new combination. We'll talk about it. So, we go to question number five now, and I think that your game has sadly come to an end, Dani, but here we go. What color was the carpet at the Emmys? Oh, I believe it was blue.
Starting point is 00:17:17 She guessed red, which is the obvious go-to guess for a carpet at an award show, but they decided to throw the blue carpet at us. So, boom, Danny, terrible round for you. What must you shamefully admit over the airwaves of K-Rock? Go ahead. I'm Danny, and clearly I do not know the news. Yeah, Allie does, but tomorrow morning around this time, someone else will have a chance to win her money. So study up.
Starting point is 00:17:40 We're giving you 23 hours to learn things, and we'll see you back here tomorrow at this exact same time. K-Rock, we are a client of Allie's show. If you were listening yesterday, perhaps you were aware that Allie was not here because she was at a weird-ass wedding that happened on a Sunday. Very gay wedding. A gay wedding, so she had to attend, and she doesn't say no to invites, so there she was. Anyway, there's been a lot of thoughts on the goat line about what the show was like without you here.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Oh, I don't know if I want to hear this. Charlie, please come back. Without you, this show just sucks. Please come back. That person said the show sucked without you, but don't worry. I'm sure there's an equally... It's not true. There's one that's, hey, this is so refreshing.
Starting point is 00:18:17 No, no, no. I'm going to tell you something right now. Nothing counts on the goat line unless we hear about it in jingle form. So someone was nice enough to record a brand new jingle that lets everyone know that you were not here yesterday and what that show was like without you here. So without any further ado, Allie, this is once again, you've inspired people to write music now. Climb with no Allie is just really bad doo doo doo. Oh, that's not true. I'm not going to play any of the other messages that say it was the greatest show we've ever had, but we'll save that for another time.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Well, you know, I'm lucky I'm here because on the way out on Friday, as you know, right after the show, I went over to the airport and I flew out of LAX on 9-11. And, of course, getting to the airport was a long process. It always sucks at LAX. But then you factor in the fact that I'm El Cheapo and I've paid for the farthest parking lot on the planet that has a shuttle once an hour. It took me a long time to get to the airport. Finally, when we got to the gate, they said, hey, just want to let you know that the plane is here, the pilot's here, but the pilot has refused the aircraft, and now we're not sure where he is. So we're going to try and track him down and try and talk him into getting back on the plane, but if we can't, we're going to have to delay it by five hours. I've heard that verbiage before.
Starting point is 00:19:39 What kind of crap is that? refuse the plane and i'm thinking on 9-11 i'm like what is going on with this guy has he lost it is he superstitious why are we trying to quote find this guy and talk him into getting back on the plane i don't want this guy flying the plane maybe he didn't think it was up to maybe it was a cleanliness thing maybe he got on the cockpit had a weird stank to it he's like i refuse refuse if someone refuses the plane and then changes their mind would you want to get back on that plane not really right exactly but i had a situation too or i remember they said very clearly the pilot is i think it was exact same wording like refusing the aircraft refused the
Starting point is 00:20:15 aircraft it was not in it and i we didn't know the reason and then they said that they're going to do a bunch of uh whatever double checks and move some things and put in some fuel or whatever and then the pilot came you know they came back and they said the pilot has now accepted the aircraft and we're like all right great i don't know i don't know what what they all look the what do they walk on and say i do not accept i don't know how they do it but i guess that's they're up there uh checking everything and if the guy felt like something was off he's like nope i refuse i'd rather they have a little bit more time to that they have higher standards yeah i love that the airline's like we don't care about all these mechanical issues oh wait the pilot does
Starting point is 00:20:50 yeah that's the thing like whether they have like a writer or something like if you don't have my m&ms i'm not coming on they wouldn't say anything more and then eventually they said all right this flight's canceled anyway we got on a different flight we were delayed getting out on the way back i flew by myself and i was again delayed and again cheaped out didn't do that thing where you can select your seat ahead of time so i wasn't sure where i was gonna sit i thought i was gonna be the last row middle i get such stress listening to the way you choose to travel it is so stressful hearing all like it it's like a roulette it's it's roulette i've done that roulette before and it usually doesn't work out well for me and when i'm talking about that roulette i'm talking about
Starting point is 00:21:25 actually roulette it doesn't work you've already lost i've lost and and i know i like there's i'm rouletting with life there's an excitement to the gamble of i will show up and they will put me on a seat but the odds are that you're going to be in a middle seat in the back of the plane and it's going to suck and you're not going to have overhead space and everything else it goes with the worst parts of travel line you are wrong on all fronts i got 18c which is an aisle right behind the exit row right behind the exit yeah no extra leg room but still brags about the row behind the exit row what is that i'm the first one on that slide oh that's what you thought was exciting but you didn't get to go on the slide so what's it matter if i did i'd be the first one
Starting point is 00:22:07 just because you say things like they're a brag doesn't make them a brag i was the first not too far in the front right in the middle over the wing so you got are you getting an aisle i guess is okay i'm getting an aisle and also yes i was boarding group nine but once i got on i was the last person they allowed on with a carry-on before they forced everyone to check their bags feeling right there i was the last bag especially going into lax you know how much longer that can make your flight the worst i sit down in my 18c i'm so happy about it there's nobody sitting next to me yet then a family of three comes up a man a woman and a baby that's about two years old and they look at my aisle and go, oh, that's where we're sitting,
Starting point is 00:22:47 but there's only two of us, and the guy says, hey, I'm supposed to be sitting back there in 26E, you know, whatever, the middle seat back there, but I was wondering if you would move so that the three of us could sit together. That is like, we've all been asked this question before at some point, and usually you need to come to the table with more than just, look at me, I've got a baby. That's helpful.
Starting point is 00:23:11 I agree. But it needs to be something more than just that. It needs to be either comparable. There needs to be a bribe. Comparable option. I mean, look, it doesn't hurt to ask. Why split the family apart, dude? That's their problem.
Starting point is 00:23:25 That's their problem. I got 18C, baby. Holy moly, people. You're traveling by yourself. You're not with anybody. Yeah, but you know what? I always give up my seat. 100%.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Let me say this. I know you're going to say Klein's being a pussy. I as well, if I was, and I have been asked a similar question, And I have always said yes Because I know that if situations were reversed I would want someone to do the same for me So I think it's a karma thing Allie, you did not give up your seat
Starting point is 00:23:48 I Chica bitch I said, is it a middle And he said yes And he pointed all the way back there Into the middle And I said, you know what, normally I would Oh boy, I'm pregnant
Starting point is 00:24:05 I agree with Allie, that's way too much of a difference It's way too much of a difference And I have to pee like every hour right now. And I was like, dude, I have to get up so much to pee. And I'm. There's one in the back of the plane. Yeah, but I'm in the middle of the plane. So I said, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Under under other circumstances, I would be happy to do it. But I I'm I'm pregnant and I got to pee a lot. And then he said, OK, yeah, I mean, it would be nice if we could all sit together. But I understand that you're pregnant. OK, so he goes and he sits down and then the baby starts crying. crying for his dad. Of course! This is what's going to happen. He's going, dad, papa, papa!
Starting point is 00:24:45 Now you're ruining the flight for everyone. Now you could have stopped this from ruining everyone else's flight too. Then I see the wife who's right next to me texting her. What a bitch. This bitch next to me. This pregnant bitch.
Starting point is 00:25:01 They're doing that thing where they longingly look back at each other and they're trying to pass each other the iPad. I'm like, just keep watching your show. Look forward, Ali. You made the right You can pay to pick your own seats. Yeah, they did this hoping that... Exactly. Right?
Starting point is 00:25:17 Yes. Yeah, that there's good people on the plane. No. Look, Ali's pregnant. A middle seat? No, thank you. On a five-hour flight. No.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Please, Ali. It wouldn't have changed your life at all. Yes, it would have. It would not have. The person that was next to him was sleeping the whole time. I would have had to wake her ass up three, four times throughout the flight. How many times did you go pee? Twice.
Starting point is 00:25:37 I was trying to make it more. You guys probably texted One time I didn't even have to And I was like, I better get up Well, there you go Now at least you're judging That's why when we decided Most least
Starting point is 00:25:49 Who's the meanest on the show Now we know We picked appropriately Hey, if you want to sit together Pay for it Wow, that's unbelievable She's right, she's right Or you gotta
Starting point is 00:25:59 That's what people do They go, I don't want to pay So I'm just going to choose Whatever seats they're going to give me Because you hope there's decent people In this world that would understand your situation. Or you go up to the counter ahead of time
Starting point is 00:26:10 and you say, hey, is there any way we can sit together and the gate agent will make it so that they will put me in a seat. You, Allie, more than anybody should understand that they're probably trying to save a buck as well. Hey, you know, for my wedding, I didn't pay to sit with my wife and I asked the guy to switch with me
Starting point is 00:26:25 and he said no. So I'm paying it forward. Allie not giving up her seat. She's like a modern day, she's Rosa Porks, someone said. I'm not knowing. AROQ, Klein Alley Show. Yesterday during the news, Jake stepped in because Alley was out, and he delivered news about mustard because that's important to him.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Not necessarily important to anyone else listening, so it's good to have Alley back again. So it's time now for your ADD News. Grab your Adderall. It's time for ADD News. There were some records broken at the Emmys last night. Matthew Rhys made history, along with Jean Smart, winning for every season of her show.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Matthew Rhys got a double lead actor win. He won Best Actor twice in one night. He won for Limited Series for The Beast in Me and for Best Comedy Actor for Widow's Bay. It also seemed like there was a record number of tributes happening last night. There were Dolly tributes, Rob Reiner tributes, Catherine O'Hara tributes, and that's all in addition to the very lengthy In Memoriam with a song by Noah Kahn performed during that.
Starting point is 00:27:28 There was a lot of sadness, a lot of tears. This is Sally Field essentially dedicating her Emmy to Dolly Parton. She won for Remarkably Bright Creatures, but smartly used the opportunity to bring up a much better movie. If there are truly angels on earth, then we just lost one. Dolly Parton. It was my great good fortune to have worked with Dolly in a film called Still Magnolias. Never heard of it. God bless you, Dolly Parton, my friend.
Starting point is 00:27:58 I am not the only one on earth that will love you forever and ever I don't believe you've ever seen that movie, have you? No, I don't know anything about that Well, it's a chick flick Just like Field of Dreams is a boy movie Boring
Starting point is 00:28:14 Steel Magnolias is amazing Drink your juice, Shelby I've heard of it before I wouldn't have known what it was about Is it about flowers? What's going on here? I think it's the one where the woman has cancer on the beach and then she sings
Starting point is 00:28:27 The Wind Beneath My Wings. No, no, it's the one where they hop in the car and they drive off a cliff. That's the one. That's Thelma and Louise also a fantastic movie. I think they're all
Starting point is 00:28:35 the same movie. They're all the same thing. Steel Magnolias is about a family because they are steel magnolias. They can never break even though all of these
Starting point is 00:28:45 slings in life are thrown their way. Is this the one where they all have the pants that fit each other? That's the sisterhood of the traveling pants. You're just listing
Starting point is 00:28:51 all my favorite movies. Right, Vanessa? I think I know it. I haven't seen that movie, but you're selling me, to be honest. Okay, God, I don't get it. This is Macaulay Culkin paying tribute to Catherine O'Hara. There was a long tribute to her where three people spoke about her career and her life. And this was all before the In Memoriam.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Catherine O'Hara. Remember her as the forgetful mother, right? Is that Sally Field talking? Macaulay Culkin sounds so weird. He was great on our show, though. He was, but he's a strange guy. I will never forget about her. You know, there are all kinds of words I could use to describe Catherine.
Starting point is 00:29:32 She was encouraging. She was warm. Where are there so many songs? Songs about remotes. You should have just broken into that right there. That would have been amazing. I think Catherine would have really loved that, actually. The word that I think of is mama.
Starting point is 00:29:46 So he went on and talked about how she was a mother to him. And then he made the joke, even though she lost me twice, you know, blah, blah, blah. and then they did the in memoriam and then at the end jamie lee curtis came out and said some words about rob reiner and this is when really the waterworks turned up he was generous and kind and funny as hell and a friend to all we all miss rob and michelle and all those we lost this year are they trying to play her off during that or this is that this is during the in memoriam so The music is still playing from all the sad people who had just been brought up to the screen. But then she's just standing there crying during all of this.
Starting point is 00:30:29 And everybody's now eventually. That actually sounds like her, too. Beautiful. Wild to me. That sounds like I missed a lot last night. And then with Mariska Hargitay hosting, she was very sentimental, too. So it wasn't really a very jokey night. It was a pretty emotional night.
Starting point is 00:30:46 You know what was sadder than that was the Broncos trying to play some football last night. It was so funny because I finally sat down after I, you know, got home from the flight and everything. And I was like, let's turn these both on. And I was like, both of these are so depressing. Don't talk about it, man. I'm still mad about last night. Johnny just went out and bought himself a $50 Broncos hat because that's the Force Fandom team he has to support. And now he wants to get a refund on the hat because of how the game went last night.
Starting point is 00:31:08 It was $50? It was a $50. But he went to Universal CityWalk. He went to, like, such a sucker place to buy a hat. What do you mean? It's right next to my house. You can get a hat for, like, $8. I know.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Vanessa got a Rams hat for $6. Yeah, but this hat feels like a $50 hat, and it's fire, actually. But the Broncos suck, man. Sorry, Asti. The Cardinals have a better record than the Rams and the Broncos, and I'm pretty sure any other team, okay? We're second in the NFC West. Go Cards.
Starting point is 00:31:34 You should see, Ali's got this whole setup now. He's got an amazingly large mouse pad. Giant mouse pad that looks like a championship banner. It sits in front of her now to go ahead and support her forced fandom. We get into a brand-new hour of the show in exactly two minutes right here on KROQ. This is the world-famous K-Rock. Good morning. Welcome to your K-Rock.
Starting point is 00:31:54 We are Klein Alley Show. Text line, appreciate you. 323 is clarifying. Omar Klein, you guys are such idiots. Steel Magnolias is the one where they make them fried green tomatoes. No, that's fried green tomatoes. So now we know which movie Alley's talking about. It's not the one where that rich guy makes that prostitute all fancy.
Starting point is 00:32:09 That's the one. Pretty Woman. That's Steel Magnolias. Also a fantastic film. She won an award. We've got a decent hour to get into right now, believe it or not. And it all starts with this message. that was waiting on the GOAT line,
Starting point is 00:32:20 consider this your official reminder that tomorrow, 11 a.m., as soon as we get the hell out of here, we go across the street to Descanso for the Klein Alley Show. First ever Fiesta Siesta, celebrating the two greatest things on the planet, parties and naps.
Starting point is 00:32:33 And you can do either and or both, plus get some gourmet tacos, some limited edition, low-slogger shirts, and much more. And you know who's going to be there. This is an official RSVP on the GOAT line. What's up, Klein Alley? It's the Bud Light Bros.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Real quick, just wanted to check in. And say, it's great that y'all are all about the foosball right now. But let's not forget, we about to get into October baseball, baby. That's right. Dodgers just secured another postseason spot. And the magic number to clinch the division is three, baby. Three games, baby. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Oh, and Klein, how the hell you going to get your clothes on two racks of ribs, some mac and cheese, and some driving sandwiches Bob Piper sells me. Man, you done got bamboozled. Man, he saw you coming a mile away. And I know that food must have been great and all, but not as great as the tacos we about to have at the Fiesta Fiesta. At the sconce on this Wednesday. That's right.
Starting point is 00:33:45 We'll be there, and we can't wait to see all the K-Rock listeners and all the K-Rock staff. It's going to be good, good time. Hell yeah. Hashtag grow the show. Be my client at the show. Bud Light, bro. It is what it is. Sweet divvy.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Well, that doesn't get you excited for some siesta fiesta. I don't know what will. I don't know what they're more excited about, the fiesta or the siesta. I've seen them do both at a party. Well, I think one of them needs a job pretty desperately. I don't know which Bud Light bro is out of work currently. They're always either just out of work or almost out of work. But maybe we will set up a few tables tomorrow and turn it to like a little speed.
Starting point is 00:34:21 A little job fair? A little job fair situation as well. Oh, I love that. Let's sign up for one of those sleep studies. Yeah. Oh, that's also a great idea. Let's try to set that up at the sconce for tomorrow as well. K-Rock, one of the biggest riddles, mysteries currently on the Internet.
Starting point is 00:34:34 It's time for some click bait. And this has to do with a question that you should never ask if on a first date. Now, first dates are a lot like job interviews. There are a lot of questions, a lot of back and forth stuff. you are interviewing the person technically you've done some of this you know you think ahead of time on the either dms or the apps or whatever but when you're face to face it kind of still turns into one of these job interviews and they say if you want it to be a good first date it shouldn't feel like a job interview that's why we had jake do these exit interviews at the end of
Starting point is 00:34:58 the first date so we really felt like an interview make it really like a job interview but there is one question now and it's changed over the years and there's always things they say certain topics to never bring up on a first date but according to the experts this is the this is truly the one question that you should not ask and i feel like most people are probably still asking it so let's get into it it's time for clickbait all right this is the one question according to experts that you should stop asking immediately on a first date what is the question ali you know i think it is politics related these days i think it's changed who did you vote for all right political question on the first date
Starting point is 00:35:43 is going to create problems. Even I think if you voted for the same person and if you're on the same page the fact that that's a first date question makes people feel like it's like it kind of feels like it's gotten too serious too quick. Yeah, but if you have certain things that you know would be
Starting point is 00:36:01 deal breakers in this relationship why string it along? That's the big issue, right? No one wants to waste time anymore. Yeah, but then you kind of feel like even if you have the same beliefs it feels like you're being interrogated all right so uh ali goes with uh who did you vote for at the last election that is a question you should not ask on a first date jake the nerd i'm gonna say do you want kids and then you when you're dating jake you go please say no please say no please say no
Starting point is 00:36:31 but i think that that's a that's a question that's been asked for years of course i think And Vanessa's offered that up, by the way. I think she sat down and said, I am one. I don't need them. She says it right when she sits down. Bring out that booster seat. See, that's real laughter right there. Do you still get the kid's meal at Chipotle?
Starting point is 00:36:50 No, but I should because $6. Okay. You know the price of it? I do know the price. Vanessa, don't lie. When is the last time you got the kid's meal at Chipotle? The last time I ate at Chipotle? When's the last time you got the kid's meal at Chipotle?
Starting point is 00:37:07 Literally a long time. I'm not kidding. Have you gone back and paid for an adult meal there recently or no? Yes, because I might want leftovers later. Where's the last place you got a kid's meal at? And it was recent. Don't lie. Maybe Chick-fil-A.
Starting point is 00:37:20 Yeah, thank you. The kid's meal at Chick-fil-A? Isn't it insanely small? It's like four nuggets or something. Also, Jersey Mike's, the minis. That's like a bite of a sandwich. It's really the saddest time. I pay my own bills, bitch.
Starting point is 00:37:33 What do you think, Omar? This is the question you should avoid asking on a first date I think one of the most intrusive questions You could ask is about people's finances Like how much do you make Mind your business This is the first date, let's have some fun They claim that there's one question
Starting point is 00:37:50 All of the things you mentioned are all Issues that could lead to bad First date etiquette Bad vibes But they say the question that everyone seems to ask That you are not supposed to ask on a first date at all is how did your last relationship end, or why did your last relationship end? And I feel like that is the first question most people ask, right?
Starting point is 00:38:09 Well, when you think about a job interview, isn't that the first thing you want to know? Why did your last job end? What's wrong with you? Yeah, why are you looking for something? Because clearly something went wrong. Yes, you're single. There's a reason you're single. So what's the reason?
Starting point is 00:38:20 So I think most people probably ask that question. I've done that. I've asked that. Of course. I think most people have, and the experts say it's just for so many reasons. It's a terrible way to get things going because you instantly now instead of— You have to make excuses? Instead of starting a new relationship, like from a ground zero place, you're already now bringing baggage up, you know, because you're already mentioning things now.
Starting point is 00:38:39 You're kind of putting a stank on the new relationship by bringing in the old baggage. Are you going to be honest, too? Like if somebody on, Jake asks, hey, how did your last relationship end? I didn't even ask that. I said, what's wrong with you? Is he going to say, it's because she didn't like my deodorant and I refused to change it? Right. So you obviously can't say that because you have to do the same BS you do at a job interview when they say, what's your biggest weakness?
Starting point is 00:38:57 And you go, I work too hard. I love too much. Right. It's one of those things. Well, that's a big red flag, I feel like. I love too much. It's like... Plain tea.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Right. Thirsty. So anyway, avoid that question and enjoy your dating. We'll be back in a moment. When we return, we have more show for you after this and access to not one, not two, not three, but all four upcoming shows. That will be in your future this morning right here on KROQ. All right, you want to win something?
Starting point is 00:39:22 Now's a good time to give us a call, 800-520-1067. We have the last batch of our limited edition Klein Alley Show merch in the category of hats. You have your choice. A sweet divots, a 3-2-3 tip bully, or a moffa, make Ali Fadigan hat that can and will be yours. Also, I believe we have a few, very few, I've never been intimate with Jake shirts left. We're going to try to blow those out before we get our new batch of merch starting tomorrow with the new Los Logos shirt that we've given away to the first 106 people at our Descanso event, the Siesta Fiesta.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Now, if you want to play, the game is very easy. We went through all of our search history, and you can learn a lot about a person and about yourself If you just look at the last few things you've Googled, Googled, thrown into the old chat GPT, says a lot about you and says a lot about what's going on in your brain. And it used to be we'd have a thought, and I would just sit there as a thought. We'd think about it for a little bit, and then we'd forget it and move on to something else. But now we need answers instantly, so we immediately go, ha, what's the answer to that? And someone on the show, for instance, Allie, did search, what pillow do I need to avoid a humpback? now listen i i have the answers so i i sadly can't play the game this is why the robots are
Starting point is 00:40:29 gonna win this is exactly they know our weaknesses they know our insecurities and they know that we're terrified of developing humpback and so we are searching for special pillows to make sure we don't get humpback and listen maybe you go through your own browsing history from time to time nothing more humiliating i love deleting cookies i love deleting history i love private search because I don't want to be reminded of the stupid stuff I looked at when I couldn't sleep. Yeah, well, then there's also a whole separate, like there's your personal things that you're looking at, which is embarrassing enough,
Starting point is 00:40:58 but then the things that we Google for the show are equally embarrassing, if not more embarrassing. And the reality is more often than not, when my wife says, why did you search that? I say, oh, it was for work. It was for work, even if it was probably not for work. We were talking about the Sidney Sweeney ad. It was for work.
Starting point is 00:41:12 There was a lot of conversation about the Sidney Sweeney ad, but why did you need to watch it 14 times? I don't know. Way to memorize it for a project. For a book report. That's what I'm doing. It's time now for the, this is embarrassing. Not all embarrassing, but these are, we all did, there was no choice here.
Starting point is 00:41:28 We just went with the last five things that any of us searched. So these are the last five things that were looked at by us. If you can figure out which one of us Googled it, then you win your very own limited edition piece of Klein Alley Show merch. And if you're new to the show and you want to figure out who the hell we are, this will say an awful lot about us. So we start with Clarissa in Tarzana. Good morning and welcome to KROQ. If you'd like to play the game, the number is 800-520-1067. You get one right, you win a hat.
Starting point is 00:41:56 It goes like that. Here we go. And as we learned yesterday, Postmaster Johnny spent $50 on a hat. So this is a prize valued at at least $50, we believe. Clarissa, who on the show recently searched, what pillow do I need to avoid a humpback? choices include Klein, Allie, Vanessa
Starting point is 00:42:16 Jake, Johnny or Omar yeah yeah yeah a whole cast of characters I'm going to say that's Allie what? why because I'm the one with the humpback? because Allie does look a lot like that thing that lived in the bell tower
Starting point is 00:42:31 Quasimodo? yeah Allie does look a lot like Quasimodo why am I helping you insult me? thank you Allie that's the insult I was looking for Anytime. Thanks, Quasi. So you're going to say Allie is the person who searched for that.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Let's see if she's right, Quasi. Allie will ring the bell three times if you're right. Get up there on that tower. Sexuality. Who actually on the show did Google, what pillow do I need to avoid a humpback? Okay, me, because... Vanessa.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Because... Don't you sleep under that pillow fort? Yes, but I think I need a better one for my neck. But what kind of pillow is going to change the fact that you have a humpback or not? Why would that matter? Dude, every... Hold on. Johnny, Johnny, chill out.
Starting point is 00:43:20 I'm talking to her. I know you're screening calls, but chill, chill, chill. Yes, Vanessa, go ahead. The more we talk about how we're going to look like in the future, the more I worry for that. When I'm little, I'm going to be in the ground. When you're little. You are little. No, no, like when I'm a grandma.
Starting point is 00:43:34 You know what I'm saying? Oh, I see. So you think a pillow change now will stop you from being one of those hunched over old people that constantly looks like they're looking for their car keys? Preventable health. Is that the word? All right. I mean, the fact that she's trying to avoid getting even shorter.
Starting point is 00:43:51 It's crazy. That's so funny. The only short people know about this. All right. We move on to the next question. Wait. Just out of curiosity, what did it tell you? Did you get a pillow?
Starting point is 00:44:02 Was there a certain pillow that it recommended? There were a bunch, but I started this research last night, so I want to read reviews. Okay. This is a long process. So there are pillows specifically designed for that? No, there's no chance. Yes, there is. The thing is, they go, dummy alert, let's suggest all these different pillows and say it's for hunchbacks.
Starting point is 00:44:22 We need everyone to Google it, and you'll see there's options. I don't think there's a bed. A mattress would be a better thing. You know what you've got to get? You've got to get one of those medieval beds that actually pulls your limbs. A hole that stretches you at night? Yeah, you crank it every night and make you a little taller. Yeah, you'll be like an NBA player.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Yeah, that'll solve your problem. I was thinking I should learn how to do a handstand so I can stretch the other way. Please put it on Instagram. Joseph and Sandimus, so far no winners. It's going to be a tough game to win, so here we go. Next question. It's our actual search history, so it tells us a lot about a person. This person recently searched, okay.
Starting point is 00:45:05 What? That's going to be good. This person recently searched, can dwarves get pregnant? Who recently searched that on the show? That would be Johnny. Wow. Will the person who actually searched, can dwarves get pregnant, please announce themselves? Hey, man, I was curious, and I've actually never seen one in public.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Wow. You've never seen a pregnant dwarf? That's incredible. I've never seen dwarves in period, but then second. You've never seen dwarves in period? We've had multiple on this show as guests. I work with one. You've greeted them at the door and walked them back here.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Huh? Wow. Oh, man. All right. Hey, congratulations. Joseph, you want a Make Ali Fat Again hat, a Sweet Divots hat, or a 323 Tim Bolle hat? The choice is yours. Make Ali Fat Again.
Starting point is 00:45:58 All right. Grab that hat. That's only available in larger sizes. I'm a regular-sized pregnant woman. We move on now. This is all technically stuff that has been searched by us. So every one of us must defend why we search these things, but we all search these things. We say hi to Pam now in Corona.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Hey, Pam, welcome to KROQ. Good morning. Hey, good morning. How's it going, guys? Morning. This person recently Googled, how did Magic Johnson beat AIDS? I'm going to have to say Allie Johnson.
Starting point is 00:46:34 What? That's a great guess. That's a great guess. Allie is a... Because I feel like she's somehow related to the family. Yeah, she does claim, she did claim that that used to be her cousin or something. I think once he got it,
Starting point is 00:46:47 then it would pass through the family. That's right. It passes right through the family tree. I see. Who recently searched, how did Magic Johnson beat AIDS? Okay, again, I was just curious, and I had to know
Starting point is 00:46:58 after you talked about him last week. Yeah, when I ran into him. And how did he beat AIDS, Johnny? What did you learn? What did Google tell you? I don't remember. I think he just, like, beat it. Like, I think, like,
Starting point is 00:47:08 he just didn't get as sick and die. You know, that's... We Google things, and then we don't even... Don't even know the answer. I've asked everyone what the answer was, and Vanessa couldn't give it to us? Johnny couldn't give it to us?
Starting point is 00:47:18 No one knows. Did Johnny Cantorves get pregnant? Damn, I got to Google that one again. I don't know. Again? You already Googled it once. I think they can, but they just have a higher risk
Starting point is 00:47:28 that they pose to the child, I think. We move on to Gus now, Santa Monica. Hey, Gus. Good morning. Hey, shout out, Ned Bingers. Who recently on the show Googled One Direction Tour? uh i'm gonna go with jake on that one why would you say jake out of curiosity
Starting point is 00:47:49 i just i i just have the gut feeling as jake for some reason uh yeah i would have thought it would be someone on the show that had kids perhaps right that would have made sense or vanessa who uh googled the one direction tour god damn it i did why why did you search that my lady friend, wanted to see One Republic tour, and I got him confused. But we went to One Republic last weekend at the Hollywood Bowl. I just knew it was one something,
Starting point is 00:48:20 so I googled One Direction. The algorithm's got you, man. You're going to get all that One Direction stuff. I'm not even a band anymore, I don't think. Gus, congratulations. You were able to successfully predict that was Jake. You want a 323 tip Bully hat, sweet divots, or a make-Ali Fadigan
Starting point is 00:48:36 hat? Sweet divots, please. Hold on. Classic. Classic. Going with the Sweet Dibbets. Hold on. Dominic has the answer to one of the questions we Googled.
Starting point is 00:48:45 We don't need Google. We have Dominic. Yes, Dominic. Hi. Hey, good morning. Sweet Dibs. Sweet Dibs. What's up?
Starting point is 00:48:52 So I am a big fan of Pinky Shortcake. She's a micro wrestler. And she actually had a kid with another micro wrestler who's actually normal size. That's how you make one of them mini doodles, I think, Ali. You take two micro wrestlers, and then you've got a mini golden doodle. So you're saying she was a pregnant dwarf? Yes. Okay, there you go.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Wait, but then did you say they made a regular-sized baby? Yeah, that's correct. You can look it up on Instagram. Pinky Shortcake. Pinky Shortcake. Now that's something new to Google. Add it to your list, Johnny. Add it to your list, Johnny.
Starting point is 00:49:28 That's insane. There's no way that could happen. Well, he claims it did. He's telling you it happened. More on Ontario. We've got two more searches to go through here. This person recently searched. Cheap airport parking, cheap rental car, cheap Airbnb, cheap maternity clothes.
Starting point is 00:49:44 And what is too cheap to spend on a wedding gift? That would be Allie. I don't think we need to ask anyone. Allie, every single one of your searches, do you add the word cheap or does it autofill when you get your computer? I put it in. Every time you wrote that? Anything that I am searching for, the word cheap is in front of it. That's a crazy amount.
Starting point is 00:50:04 If you look at your history, how many of your searches involve the word cheap? I mean, this is your last five things you search. Cheap airport parking, cheap rental car, cheap Airbnb, cheap maternity clothes. How cheap is too cheap for a wedding gift? That's crazy. I can type it really quickly now. Oh, man. And I can get results every single time.
Starting point is 00:50:24 I have all the codes, all the coupon codes. Laura, what would you like? A Make Ali Fat Again hat? Sweet divots? Yes, I have to since it was her. All right. I'll take a Make Ali Fat Again hat. It's free, which is cheap.
Starting point is 00:50:37 And we don't have time to do any more of these, but I'll share with you, because we didn't get into what I had searched and what Omar had searched. Omar's got an interesting search that includes Commander's Schedule. Oh, yeah, because you're a Commander's fan now. That's right. Can we change the name back to Redskins? So Omar's trying to start a change.org. Bike Shop and Rancho Cucamonga, Leslie's Pool Supply, Thor. Why'd you search Thor, Omar?
Starting point is 00:51:00 Oh, because I want to show my kid of the Thor from the Marvel movies because she's reading some, like a Percy Jackson book, and it's got like a nerdy Thor on it. I was like, I want to show her the real Thor. I thought you were just going to look at his body. Real Thor. Write it up. I feel like Omar would Google that and be like, nice.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Jake's searches included One Direction Tour, Masters of the Universe figures, Ron, Jeremy, and JL, question mark, pink corduroy hat. Oh, God. Don't get it. Johnny's included YouTube, how to boil an egg. He needed a YouTube search for that? Woman with three boobs and the canned dwarfs get pregnant and Magic Johnson, how did he beat AIDS? What about you?
Starting point is 00:51:49 I'll get to mine last. Vanessa said, what pillow do I need to avoid a humpback? Rihanna, pregnancy belly 2026. Oh, okay. Well, she's always pregnant. Spiritual energy left from others, and Sandra Bullock age. Oh, I Googled that too. Allie had on her last, just after all of her cheap searches, was how old was Sandra Bullock in speed?
Starting point is 00:52:10 She was 30. It's crazy how many questions are about Sandra Bullock. She's the best. She's the best. I asked how she'd be AIDS. And I had searched what is the cheapest professional sports team to buy, how to get the smell of garlic out of a car interior, and boy names with problematic histories. Why are you searching boy names with problematic histories? Because we were going to pitch you, well, that was going to ruin the bit,
Starting point is 00:52:32 but we were going to pitch you names for your son, like cool names, out there names, and then we wanted you to get in on one, and then we would, once it was official, Oh, you'd reveal how offensive it was? Like I'm all in on Adolph, and then I realized later on that it's a problematic name? We weren't going with names as obvious as Adolph, but we had some other names that were like cool names that you would have been like, I love it, and then we were going to make up the fact that it meant like strong or brave, But then really, the reality was like it was the devil's nickname. A white supremacist.
Starting point is 00:52:58 Yeah. But now you've ruined the bit. Oh, damn. So I'm glad we did this stupid thing. Why did I ruin it? But I did spill some garlic bread that I was eating while driving back from that Troubadour show. Because I went and got it to go order garlic bread from Dantanas. Dantanas.
Starting point is 00:53:12 And I call it garlic bread because I eat it in my car. Do you say that joke to yourself in the car in the morning and then laugh? Yeah. Garlic bread. Oh, yeah, I spilled my garlic bread. But now it still reeks in there. And I don't think I'll ever get the smell out. So, anyway, thanks for playing along with us.
Starting point is 00:53:26 It's K-Rock Klein Alley Show. Reminder that tomorrow we will be joining forces yet again. We'd love you to join us. The Fiesta Siesta. We'll be there. Fiesta Siesta, Descanso, Mid-Miracle Mile, Wilshire Boulevard. We'll take care of all your gourmet tacos and merch if you're one of the first 106 to arrive. And I believe there's been some cryptic messaging on the announcement from a blind Charlie
Starting point is 00:53:51 who's putting winky faces and drink emojis, which in the past, I'm not promising anything, he has put his car down and bought a lot of drinks for people as well. So we're not allowed to say he's going to do that, but he's done it, I think, every other time we've gone there. So anyway, it's going to be a great time, and we look forward to seeing you tomorrow
Starting point is 00:54:08 if you can make it out for either a lunch and or a nap or a party. Live music will be there, ear ringers performing mariachi and more as we celebrate Mexican Independence Day with another post-show hang, and that'll be happening tomorrow. More details up on our Instagram at Klein Alley Show.
Starting point is 00:54:22 Now, your news. Grab your Adderall. It's time for ADD News. Well, it's official. In the state of California, we've now reached the point where there are too many cars on the road and we have run out of license plate combinations. No way. Yep, as we know it now, you've got the one number, then you've got three letters, and then three numbers.
Starting point is 00:54:42 But now, we've run out of those, and the whole format is going to change. And here's what it's going to change to. California has officially run out of combinations for its current license plate sequence. For the last 46 years, the state has used the same sequence, one number, then three letters, followed by three numbers. The state has now come up with a new combination, three numbers, three letters, then one number. Okay. That's her take on it. So you would go, it's basically backwards.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Right. So they never, they real. I don't understand. Yeah, so they didn't run out. Yeah. They ran out. They ran out of this format. Based on the current format that they've stuck with for 46 years.
Starting point is 00:55:26 The solution's very easy. Yeah. Yeah, I know, but. It's not like there's a problem. No, I think you know what happens is similar to area code pride, there is license plate pride. There is not. No way.
Starting point is 00:55:37 You think there is? There's zero license plate pride. I don't even know my license plate. Excuse me, you have the black and yellow vanity plates, and you value that, and people who have the blue and yellow ones, those are the OGs of California. That is something to brag about. People with this weird one letter
Starting point is 00:55:53 at the end, shut up. They're going to be lame-os. Lame-os. Watch out. One of those people that likes to donate to the arts and it says it on your plate. Loser. I agree that there are certain people that have been grandfathered into classic California plates. Which is something to brag about.
Starting point is 00:56:09 And yes, and those, I guess, there would be, in fact, I believe there was a time where those were being stolen because they were in such hot commodity. Right. And then they re-released. People sell them at flea markets.
Starting point is 00:56:18 Right. Flea markets. Right. So, but the issue, no one knows, like Omar said, if you're at a store and they go,
Starting point is 00:56:24 attention, if you have, and they just say the license plate and they don't say the car, most people, I think, would have no idea if they were talking about their own car.
Starting point is 00:56:31 Would you know your license plate if it was announced out? Do you know your license plate or no? No. No problem. I don't. No problem.
Starting point is 00:56:37 I remember my mother's license plate when I was a kid. Right. She kept driving away from you probably stop that zz1357 but you also would be upset if a normal regularly used say 818 area code was no longer available and they made some weird thing up that's now the new la area code you wouldn't like it it sucks at first yeah because no one knows you don't want to be the new kid you don't want to be the new area code or the new license plate number but omar's point
Starting point is 00:57:07 is that no one will notice the difference between it starts with a nine or it starts with a p Yeah, people care about the aerial code. No one cares about their license. Well, I do. Oh, this is like that. And I'm going to judge everyone who has that. The new ones? You're going to just judge them all?
Starting point is 00:57:20 I'm going to cut them all. Yeah, these black more people, you're not going to let into your lane when they have to merge in? What's weird is when you go to other states and it's like one space, one letter space. And I'm like, what the hell's going on with that license plate? We go through a lot of cars in this state. That is true. It's not hard for one person to get suspended. but an entire football team has been suspended from a local high school for unsportsmanlike conduct
Starting point is 00:57:42 because they won a football game and then taunted the spectators and the team so badly that there is now a punishment in place. So they played against a rival high school. They won the game 20-7. They held on to the Bell Trophy. Not sure what that is. Which school was it? Let's give them their flowers.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Yeah, well, this is the Victor Valley Jackrabbits, Victor Valley High School. They were playing Apple Valley High School. and their school mascot is the Victor Valley Jackrabbit. The mascot was flipping off all of the spectators and coming up and down and giving them all the middle finger
Starting point is 00:58:16 and being like, F you, we won. We retained our lead, our trophy. They kept the trophy and now they've all been suspended from play and they said there will be accountability, there will be reflection and there will be a clear expectation
Starting point is 00:58:29 that this cannot happen again. A jackrabbit giving the middle finger to the other school is... A jackrabbit's kind of a douchey animal anyway, isn't it? It's hilarious, though. I understand they're trying to make this a sportsmanship learning moment or whatever, but if they're playing for the pride of the Apple Valley, whatever the hell that thing was called. The Victor Valley Jackrabbits? The Victor Valley Jackrabbits, and they want to keep that trophy for another year.
Starting point is 00:58:52 It's probably some rivalry between the schools. Yeah, there is. It's fun. Let the mascots fight like they used to in the good old days. Well, and I want to know what the rest of the team did. Did they all follow suit and flip off the audience as well? Or is it just this one mascot? Because the whole team shouldn't be held accountable just for that one mascot's actions.
Starting point is 00:59:09 That one awesome mascot. I did hate the thing at the end of games. They still do it, and I understand why they do it, where they force you to shake hands with the other teams. Because pretty quickly, kids would learn to either spin in their hand or pick their nose first. Instead of saying, good game, good game, F-U, F-U, F-U. Well, and there's no heart in it. Just going, good game, good game, good game, good game. But in your heart and your head, you're saying, ha-ha, losers.
Starting point is 00:59:34 You're a loser or your mom's a slut or whatever you say. You say your own little line and then the person, did that guy just call my mom a slut? There is another competition called the Hydrox competition. I don't know if you've heard of Hydrox client as a guy who works out now, but it's a new kind of workout trend. It's kind of like CrossFit. Every year there's a big Hydrox competition. It basically combines weightlifting and running and stuff. If you think that I'm more concerned with working out, when you said Hydrox competition, I thought you were talking about those knockoff Oreos.
Starting point is 01:00:02 Yeah, not to be confused with the knockoff Oreos, which are the original. That's where my head went first, so never be concerned that I take working out more seriously than my cookies. So this is in the news because the woman who won this year's Hydrox competition did so with mass amounts of diarrhea while she was competing. Incredible. So now people are upset and they're saying you need to change the rules because you can't just allow somebody to be crapping themselves during the competition and just go on as planned and have everybody else have to use the same equipment that this woman is using. She completed the rowing machine, the sled push, the medicine ball throw, all while having crapped herself and having it all run down her whole body. And Hydrox said they had to launch a major cleanup operation after the race, which included sanitizing equipment and replacing sections of flooring. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:00:52 That is a deep, deep diarrhea. But she won? She won. And she said a win is a win. Of course she won. But now everyone's going, why did you let her continue to compete? Yeah. Because everyone else is like, ugh.
Starting point is 01:01:06 Nobody else wants to follow her because she's got diarrhea. Anyone who lifts this one weight will win. I'm good. She can have it. Ooh, you won Hydrox. You're the winner. Interesting method. It worked.
Starting point is 01:01:18 But for marathon runners, that's normal behavior, and we all accept it. And for someone to say, how barbaric is that that you're going to run while peeing down your leg or even a lot of them go number two while running, and they go, that's just part of running culture, baby. Some mountain climbers, too, that guy from Free Solo and Alex Honnold, he said he's crapped on the side of mountains before. Yeah, that's all part of the joke, and we all accept that because... We all accept it with open arms, like a new license plate. Jake's done that right here in the halls of K-Rock before.
Starting point is 01:01:47 I do it every day. Yeah, so I'm not running a marathon. We're getting to a brand new hour of the show right now, and in this hour, we have four tickets for you to the next four shows happening here at KROQ. So all you have to do is listen and get ready to win. This is the world famous KROQ. Good morning.
Starting point is 01:02:02 Just after 9 o'clock, it is Tuesday, last I checked, and if you need us, we're here for you. 800-520-1067. Call, text, engage with the show. You can watch us. We're streaming live on YouTube. Hello, NetBangers and everyone else who's checking us out there. Thank you for continuing to spread the word and help us to hashtag grow the show.
Starting point is 01:02:19 There's Allie. She's growing herself right now. I am. Literally growing. How many pounds are you up since you first got impregnated? I think I'm at 18 pounds. 18 pounds. Yep.
Starting point is 01:02:30 And I've entered month five in my fifth month of pregnancy now. Fifth month. Five more to go. Yeah. I'm about halfway done. You're almost a 10-month-old. Let's shake the nerd over there. You've got DJ Omar Khan, of course, in the back, taking them calls.
Starting point is 01:02:46 Producer Vanessa, Postmaster Johnny. And if you need us, lots of ways to get involved this hour on the show. We will get you into the next four live shows happening here at KROQ, which means with the shows, you'll get the music, you'll get the bands, you'll get the experience, you'll get the In-N-Out Burgers at the KROQ In-N-Out Burger Sound Space. And you will have access to all four of those shows as we celebrate any four accomplishment in your life.
Starting point is 01:03:10 Ali, explain what a four accomplishment is. Well, if you've been married four times, if you've been fired four times in a row, if you've, say, gotten divorced four times. Still have your four skin. Right, sure. Had a four-some. If you've had a four-some. That's a great four-accomplishment.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Any four-accomplishment we will take. Only have four fingers. That's a great one as well. We're really not picky here. You have four cars. Maybe you're rich. Four houses. So we will hear about your four accomplishments, right, later this hour and get you into the next four shows on KROQ.
Starting point is 01:03:46 Maybe have four boyfriends. Currently. Currently. Might be a lot to juggle. So we will get into all of that. Think about it. We'll tell you when to call with your four accomplishments later this hour on KROQ. Get your four accomplishments ready.
Starting point is 01:03:57 That's anything that you have done four times that we should celebrate, good, bad, or otherwise. They say death comes in threes, but what comes in fours? That is the question, and we'll get your calls at 800-520-1067 and get you into the next four shows here at KROQ, which includes a lot of great bands like The Paradox, Fontaines, D.C., Dexter, The Moonrocks, and The Beaches. So be ready to win your way into all four of those shows. You don't have to pick.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Question, Allie, because I know you're a big woo-woo therapy person. You've done a lot more therapy than I have. You love therapy so much you married a goddamn therapist. Well, I didn't do it because I loved therapy, but it has become part of the territory now. I'm not a lover of therapy, but I have attempted to dabble in it occasionally. And yes, have I been dropped by a few therapists?
Starting point is 01:04:36 Sure. Have I fired a few? Absolutely. Have a few of the situations just ghosted themselves? Yes. Yes, believe it or not, me. But I'm currently in a couples therapy situation. On and off, not a regular thing,
Starting point is 01:04:50 but sometimes once a month, sometimes more if we're fighting about something. I'm like, ah, let's just get a third party involved here. I know I'm right. So it's an as-needed situation? I mean, no, it's a regular, if we can accommodate it, schedule-wise. But it's really tricky because a lot of these therapists, some of them, they don't do Fridays, and they don't do weekends, and they don't do after 5 p.m. And it's hard to try to find any sort of an hour, uninterrupted hour in the middle of the week to sit down and tell another person why your marriage is crumbling.
Starting point is 01:05:20 2 p.m. It's the only time that works. But lately, I've noticed— Was this last session brought on because of a certain lady we had on? No. Oh, yeah? How did that turn out? It was not. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:05:32 Friday, that was a heated exchange. This was not brought on by that. Did you have to do damage control all weekend about that, though? No, it was never spoken about again. Oh, great. It was buried. I'm sure it'll come up in the next session. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:42 But I have noticed, and I'm curious if this is normal behavior or not for a therapist, that this couple's therapist we meet with, which is via Zoom, by the way, has lately started snacking during the sessions. Snacking on what? Okay, now here's my point. The last time I swear that I heard her make microwave popcorn and then eat the popcorn, pretty much watching my wife and I fight while she sits there eating popcorn. Wait, she's not taking notes or anything? No.
Starting point is 01:06:11 Well, now you can AI it. Yeah, I think she is taking notes. Oh, that's right. Yeah, I guess so. But at some point, we're fighting about God knows what and someone does more and you're not picking up the kids or whatever. It's like a movie. She's got to watch it with popcorn. Sitting there, eating popcorn.
Starting point is 01:06:27 She's got to do it with the M&M's. It's the only combination. Watching us. And I look at it, and at first I go, damn, I'm jealous. I really wish I had popcorn. Does she have a giant soda, too? No, but at one point I thought to myself, we've been now back and forth for 15 minutes. I haven't heard this woman say a goddamn thing.
Starting point is 01:06:45 And she's shoveling what used to be one or two little pieces. Now she's going, you know when you get really into a movie and then you start going handfuls at a time? Wait, so you guys are going back and forth talking for 15 minutes and she's not interjecting? Sometimes she'll go, that's interesting. Really? She doesn't go, hold on, Klein, let me stop you for a minute. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sometimes. Yeah, she will sometimes.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Because Danielle was saying something very interesting here. Right, and I'll be like, she wasn't. Spoiler. She wasn't. Go back to your popcorn. So, but my question is, is that, if you were at like a doctor. No, you can't snack or eat during your sessions. There are, I think there's a very small handful of people that my wife has seen for so long
Starting point is 01:07:22 that they're so casual that maybe that's happened with. But it's not a situation where she would ever... Because she races downstairs to get something to snack on in between clients. She does not snack during the session.
Starting point is 01:07:36 It's less about the fact she's snacking. It's more about the fact... That you want some? What her snack is. No, because if she was eating a few nuts, I would think, all right, that's a classy snack. That's a doctor's...
Starting point is 01:07:45 She's trying to fuel her brain to think wisely. But when she's eating handfuls of microwave popcorn, Now I'm questioning a lot of things. So you're just judging her snack? That's a good snack. It's a bad snack.
Starting point is 01:07:58 It doesn't feel like it's a doctor snack. And it also feels like popcorn is the official snack of watching. You're engaged in what you're watching. You're a spectator when you're eating popcorn. You're not engaged. She's spectate. I feel like she is. I thought you were going to go based on the loudness of the snack.
Starting point is 01:08:16 Because if you're eating something that's mushy or whatever, Yeah, but if you're eating like chips or something with a bag that's crinkling and distracting you. She toggles the mute. I don't hear her chew. It's not about the chewing factor. That doesn't bother me. It's that I'm looking on the screen and I'm seeing what appears like it would be like if a character in a TV show could look back at what we're doing while we're watching their show. We're just sitting on the couch scratching ourselves eating.
Starting point is 01:08:44 She should do what those security villains do in movies where they basically just make it look like a loop of normal. you know like she's thinking it's like a loop of her thinking for the most part a therapist just doing this the whole time if they're doing no no no and you go like i don't know what they're writing but it's probably important and who knows they could be doodling they could be making shopping lists but uh once it's elevated now to snack and this i'm telling you right now do you like her though other than i like her because she definitely knows i'm right oh she definitely has my side. She definitely is keeping score and I'm up a lot.
Starting point is 01:09:20 I don't know what the total score is now. I should ask her. Seems like her notebook just has a tally. I think so. Like a football game. Yeah. I want to get some updates. She's just going to hold up a scorecard. That's right. That's what I assume at the end. It's going to be like, alright. We've met for three years
Starting point is 01:09:36 and the final score is Klein wins 7,000 to 0. That's what I want. Maybe you should ask her. What's the current score? No, ask her about the popcorn. is she pregnant maybe she's pregnant i don't know i feel like that's a rude question to ask are you pregnant well why are you eating be like are you pregnant do you need to eat i just i figured i would ask you ali if that's like even considered acceptable i don't think it's acceptable no unless you're super super familiar with the person but uh on the flip side you can
Starting point is 01:10:05 make a comment like oh you're making me jealous i'm so hungry right now would it be acceptable if i was snacking during that yeah so i can do whatever the hell you want you're the one paying It's your time. She's the professional. She's supposed to be listening to you and giving you her undivided attention. I'm bringing your honey back in. I'm just wondering if this elevates to a gateway. Like, it just starts to see.
Starting point is 01:10:24 All right, they didn't say anything about the handful of nods. Now we've elevated to popcorn. They didn't say anything. She's sizzling a steak. How far is this going to go? Like, what is she? She's making kebabs or something like that? No, she's just in the background.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Ah-ha! Beep, beep, boop, boop, beep. Yeah. Air fryer. She's doing all the stuff. All right, well. I mean, a certain level of you as a man has to respect it. That's the thing.
Starting point is 01:10:45 I do respect it. And I don't want to lose. I feel like I've done such a good job of getting her on my side that I don't want to say anything to sabotage. No, you can't. No, you have to out-snack her. It's the only way. And maybe I'll bring popcorn, too.
Starting point is 01:10:58 You just bring bigger and bigger snacks. No, no, no. You got to one-up her. Yeah. Just a massive. Big bowl of Chex Mix. Just keep going more and more. Just eat it wings, and then you'll just keep out-snacking each other.
Starting point is 01:11:07 Pretty soon we're just paying for mukbang videos back and forth. It's like that woman who sucks on the crawfish. Are we doing any therapy here at all? I don't know, but we're putting on weight. A lot of people on the phone already that would like to share with us their four accomplishments. We will get you into the next four shows happening at the Internet Burger Sound Space at KROQ. What is it you've done at least four times that you're proud of and or not? By the way, these could be four accomplishments of shame.
Starting point is 01:11:29 We don't care what they are. You've done them four times. You have four of them. Whatever they may be, call now. We'll talk to you next and give away four tickets. Excuse me, two tickets to the next four shows at KROQ. Eight tickets total, and those will be yours after this. All right.
Starting point is 01:11:43 Anyone can do anything one time. It's not that impressive. Two times, okay. Three times, maybe. But four times. Three times a lady. That's a forecomplishment. A word we've created.
Starting point is 01:11:54 We'd love to hear what things you've done in your life that you consider to be a forecomplishment. Because that's when you've got something called a pattern. Pattern. That's called chronic. It's a condition at that point. So we've got up for grabs right now, tickets for you to enter the next four private shows, the In-N-Out Burger Sound Space here at KROQ. That will include Dexter and the Moon Rocks, September 22nd, Fontaines, D.C., September 28th,
Starting point is 01:12:20 The Beaches, October 19th. We're going to start charging you rent, and The Paradox on October 23rd. So you can win these tickets every hour. Sometimes all you have to do is listen and call. In this particular case, since you're going to have a forecomplishment in your future, What is the four accomplishment you've had before we've met? And we say good morning now to Susie to kick things off. Susie, what has been your four accomplishment in life?
Starting point is 01:12:44 Good morning, Sweet Divots. Sweet Divots. I got arrested four times in one month when I was 18. That is a four accomplishment. Was it all for the same thing? Yes. No, it was for completely different things and like three different counties. Well, if only I'd been in four different counties,
Starting point is 01:13:05 you would have already won this thing. We could end it. What were the four things you were arrested for in one month? Just all really? I got arrested. Me and my boyfriend took out his dad's boat, and his dad thought it got stolen, so he reported it. So we got arrested by the Coast Guard.
Starting point is 01:13:18 Cool. Then I got arrested because I was smoking joint on a bus bench, but I also had a warrant, so I went in for like the whole weekend that time. And then the third time, I got arrested because me and my friend climbed a fence to jump into the high school football area because we were going to smoke on the field. And we got arrested by the school police. And then the fourth time, me and my friend were going to go to the movies, and she stopped. Let me guess, to smoke a cigarette.
Starting point is 01:13:53 Oh, she stole stuff at a store. Oh, really? Okay. You were with her. But they thought I did, too, so they arrested me at the same time. I mean, I would probably assume you did, too, at this point. Hey, it's the girl from the bench in the football field. I just arrested you last week.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Good to see you again. You know, I will say, though. That's a poor accomplishment, all right. Four times in a month, arrested four times in a month for all kind of, you know, really misdemeanor-y stuff, but still. Especially because back then, we were all just finding a place to smoke weed. That's all you were trying to do. Now you can smoke wherever you want, but, you know, you used to have to get arrested.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Kids these days don't understand the struggle of trying to climb into the football field so you can smoke on the 50-yard line. The days are confused. All right, we say hi now to, let's see here. Wow, these are interesting. Valerie will come to you next. Let me say hi to Natalie. 800-520-1067. What is your four accomplishment in life?
Starting point is 01:14:43 Something you've done four times, good or bad. We will decide if it's a four accomplishment or not. Hi, what's up, Natalie? Hey, what's up? So I guess today was the fourth time I've, well, I guess the fourth day I actually put my foot down and I left my boyfriend. I kept coming back.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Wait, this is the fourth time you've left your boyfriend? Well, I mean, like, I kept coming back, but today was the day, like, I put my foot down. So you sound like this is fresh, fresh wound right now. You're crying as we speak, huh? Yeah, I was crying. It's probably the most depressing one. today's the day
Starting point is 01:15:22 why are you breaking up with him why does he suck it's just a lot yeah so let me get this straight you broke up the first time usually the first breakups rarely take so that's a pretty standard go back to
Starting point is 01:15:37 I would say usually second or third are the ones that hold in this particular case you guys have kids together you live together is it that sort of serious yeah of course all that stuff
Starting point is 01:15:47 yeah of course I have kids keep coming back and I get called to step off. It sounds like though this is the right thing to do and we hope that there's not a fifth time. No, I hope not.
Starting point is 01:16:05 That's what I'm telling myself today. Well, that's the good thing about the radio. It's a verbal contract. You're saying it now, so it is done. That's not true. This is not a verbal contract. Sign on this line. Signy sign. Done.
Starting point is 01:16:19 Um, I feel, uh, I feel so bad now and I would look like a total ass if we went to more callers because really we should just say, take the goddamn tickets and get on with your life. But you know, fair is fair. But this person on the text line had a four by four in and out. Oh, they did? Yeah. Oh, sorry, Natalie. Nice meeting you.
Starting point is 01:16:38 Good luck. Hold on. I'm just kidding. You hold on. Hold on. Don't go anywhere. And congratulations on doing what probably is the right decision. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:16:46 Maybe she was the problem. I don't know what he, you know, let's not just go and assume. Well, if she's broken up one, two, three times and he drags her back. Did you break up every time or did he ever do any of the breaking up? No, I just wanted to leave him because he's a piece of... You know, there's no cheating at all. It's just he's very insecure. I go to work every day and I'm still the problem.
Starting point is 01:17:15 What did she say? I go to work every day and I'm still the problem. Oh, got it. Are you already ignoring her? No, no, I couldn't have tried to translate. Sometimes I need another woman to translate a woman crying. I couldn't understand. She sounds very emotional.
Starting point is 01:17:26 It's hard to speak a woman crying. Yeah, Allie got it spot on. I bet you Vanessa knows it. This is our first language at home. All I heard was like, but like, I feel bad, obviously. It sounds like a bad situation. So I'm rooting for,
Starting point is 01:17:39 trust me when I say, you're strong enough to get through it. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it. So this is happening later today, or you've already done it? No, I already did it.
Starting point is 01:17:50 I already did it. Before we definitely say let's just give her the tickets, let me hear what Marco has to say. Marco, good luck following that. What's your four accomplishment? Dude, I don't even know if I can follow it, but good morning. Sweet divots. Sweet divots.
Starting point is 01:18:05 So I played fantasy football. I played four leagues in one year. I made it to the championship in all four leagues. Let's give this man the tickets, Allie. Come on. He's going to start crying. We got a winner here, huh, Marco? You know how hard it is to make it to the championship in four different fantasy football leagues?
Starting point is 01:18:20 I mean, that is a forecomplishment. It sure is. It's pretty incredible. Are these all expensive leagues or are these cheapo leagues like the ones I play in? No, one of them has like 14 people, 14 managers, about $200 to enter. The other three are a little cheaper, about $60. Now, I can start crying because I lost all four leagues. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:18:43 I didn't win one. That's kind of funny. You go to the championships and you lost all of them. Get to the final game and all four and lose. Still lost all your money. That's one of those win-slash-lose situations. You probably at least got what you put into it. Usually second place gets at least a little something.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Hold on, Marco. That's a very sad story. Let's all take a moment thinking about what Marco's going through right now. Yeah, that's rough. Jose on K-Rock. Good morning. Welcome to For Accomplishment Chat. What's up?
Starting point is 01:19:07 Hey, good morning. It's Sweet Divots. When I was in college, I used to drive a 1991 Camry, and it got stolen from in front of my house four different times. Wow, car stolen four times. You're halfway there, Klein. Stolen four times, that's right.
Starting point is 01:19:20 Well, this car's been stolen twice, but once we never got back, so technically it's only the current one. The current one's only been stolen once. You had the same car stolen and recovered four times? Yeah, it was like one of those old cars that had the automatic seat belts where any key would unlock the car
Starting point is 01:19:35 and any key would turn it on. People would take it for joy rides. And then they'd bring it back? Any key would turn your car on? any key would turn it on and no they would just like find it in a mall parking lot or something were you disappointed every time they found it because you're hoping maybe you get that insurance money get a different car oh man that car was probably worth like five hundred dollars what a horrible system any key yeah they didn't really think that through huh uh valerie we uh
Starting point is 01:20:03 we give you the final word here oh hold on james we'll go to james next go ahead valerie and then We have to make a decision. You got it. A flex and a fail. I just received my fourth parking ticket for street sweeping, which is $76, because the sign says it is after the third Tuesday of every month, and I'm an idiot, and I cannot compute that in my head. Yeah, no one can figure that out.
Starting point is 01:20:26 They go to someone's- Third Tuesday? They go to a special Yoda person to make those signs, and they go, how can we make this the most confusing- Every second and fourth Wednesday? I don't even know what that is. What is that even saying? My flex is I can do four gravity bongs in a row and not pass out, willing to do it at any party, and I am 50 years old.
Starting point is 01:20:45 I'd like to see you do that tomorrow at our Fiesta Siesta. Seems like it'd be a siesta after the fourth rip. James, we truly do give you the final word here as we wrap up our conversation about four accomplishments before we give away tickets to the next four shows of K-Rock. Three divots, guys. What's up? Um, so I, I don't have four fingers on my left hand. Uh, just another, uh, handicapped listener. Wait, so you just got one finger?
Starting point is 01:21:15 I got a thumb. I got a thumb. I'm thumbs up. I'm all thumbs. You're, you're just, wait. James V. Meet Vanessa. Yeah. She is in for a ride.
Starting point is 01:21:25 No, I just said, wow, like just imagine that. That's wild. Wow. I've always knew you were out there. Let me get this straight You have a hand and you have a thumb Crazy And there are no fingers
Starting point is 01:21:38 Correct I have a palm and a thumb I used to be left handed before my accident And then I had to learn how to be right handed And I played guitar So now I use a thumb pick It's wild What was the accident you speak of?
Starting point is 01:21:56 So there's many stories There's much more But I tell many But it was actually a car accident. Well, what's the best story you usually tell? Shark or something? Yeah, it's usually like around 4th of July. I go, you know, like, well, you know, be careful around the fireworks.
Starting point is 01:22:13 Thumbs up for safety. And Vanessa, he's got a sense of humor. Oh, my God. I was just thinking that was wild. That's it. Vanessa was just saying today that she had a premonition she was going to meet a no finger, one thumb man. Who can thumb pick on a guitar like nobody's business. Do you have a guitar nearby?
Starting point is 01:22:30 We can hear you sound playing the guitar with your one thumb. No, I don't. We don't believe it. I do have one in the car, though. No, we can wait. How long would it take you to get to your car? Probably like 10 minutes. Oh, we can't wait that long.
Starting point is 01:22:48 Oh, man, jeez. Couldn't park closer than that. You probably have handicapped parking. Hold on one second. That's a terrible parking situation. Why is your car so far away? You have one thumb. All right, James, hang tight.
Starting point is 01:22:59 That's one-thumb James right there. I think hang tight is kind of rude to say. Sorry. Hang loose. Allie, we've heard a lot of stories. These are all people that have had four accomplishments. Got a guy who's missing four fingers. Which is incredible that he has relearned to play the guitar with a thumbtack.
Starting point is 01:23:16 Incredible story. And I'd love to meet this man. I'd love him to join forces with One-Armed Gary and Blind Charlie. And One-Leg Lewis. One-Leg Louie. but I do we've been accused of being heartless on the show
Starting point is 01:23:31 and I think it's worthy of us to prove to our audience that we actually do have a heart when it matters and to Marco who lost his fantasy football championships I think we have to give him our tickets for sure that's the saddest thing we've heard
Starting point is 01:23:47 by far four different teams he didn't win that's a lot of money down the drain It made me almost cry. It's a lot of time invested. Think of how many trades, the waiver wire. Call that crying lady and give her the tickets.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Oh, come on. For the... Also call James and go on a date with him. Yeah, and call James. This is James right now. He's very good. Listen to him. Man.
Starting point is 01:24:13 He finally got his guitar. James, you are good. God damn. Look at that thumb picking. James, impressive stuff right here, man. I'm really proud to hear this. K-Rock Line Alley Show. Well, that was an emotional rollercoaster like it always is.
Starting point is 01:24:30 Hey, Natalie? Yes? You're getting a lot of support on the text line, so I just want you to know that other people that are feeling your pain are saying you got this and, you know, wishing you all the best. So you got four tickets. So you got two tickets to the next four shows here at K-Rock, all right? That's awesome.
Starting point is 01:24:48 You're going to make me cry again. And hopefully you don't bring this. guy. Someone did text us in and say they're the guy you've broken up. He doesn't listen to the show, does he? Oh, he doesn't really listen to Rock, so no. Okay. So maybe you can, you know, bring some friends
Starting point is 01:25:06 or bring some support or bring a new date or something, and we'll see you at the next four shows here at KROQ. Oh, yeah. Thank you so much. You beat a guy with no fingers, and you beat a guy who lost four fantasy football championships, so... Sweet divots. Yeah, sweet divots to you.
Starting point is 01:25:21 Don't forget that woman who was arrested four times, too. Yeah, I mean, you beat some great, great... I've been arrested, too. Cool. But not for that. Not for that. I believe that. All right.
Starting point is 01:25:31 Just for hate crimes. Hold on, Natalie. Yeah. I'm on supremacist. You should probably stop talking at this point. We had a feel-good moment. This is going well. Let's just cut our losses.
Starting point is 01:25:43 Let it linger for just a second. We have ADD news to get to in a moment, another hour of the show. And if you need us, we are here for you at 800-520-1067. You can call, you can text, you can also watch us as we are streaming on YouTube. Reminder, tomorrow is the day that we will be joining forces, hopefully with you. So all those details are up on our Instagram now, Klein Alley Show. And we will see you in about 24 hours if you want to come hang out. All right, that's it for us for now.
Starting point is 01:26:13 We'll be back in a moment with your news and then some more show after this. Hey, Rod. We are Clown Alley Show. It's fun. It was going on in the world together with a look at the ADD news. And then a brand new hour of the show will officially begin. As always, we are here for you at 800-520-1067. Or that goal line is there for you.
Starting point is 01:26:28 And we're not 844-956-GOAT. All right. And we guys don't really do birthdays on this show, birthday celebrations. But my dad's birthday is September 15th. Did you say her dad's birthday or her dog's birthday? Maybe both. I don't think either of them will get a shout-out on this show. Happy birthday wheelchair.
Starting point is 01:26:49 Omar Luna. Dog dad. There you go. Happy birthday wheelchair. And I was wondering if you guys would give him a birthday shout-out. I think he'd really like it. We're both huge fans of the show. His name is Rico.
Starting point is 01:27:01 Rico. Oh, my God. I think you could give him a shout-out. He's turning... It's his birthday. Okay. All right. No, so it's dog, because no one knows how old their dog is.
Starting point is 01:27:09 Dad, you would have an idea, right? You would think? But then Rico is such a dog name, too. but also could be an older dad name. Here's your shout out. There you go. That's as close as we have. Let's get into your news now
Starting point is 01:27:23 in a brand new hour of the show. We'll officially begin. Grab your Adderall. It's time for ADD News. So the Emmy Awards was another night of seeing actors win awards and then when they start speaking you realize they're all British.
Starting point is 01:27:38 Jean Hacks, I'm sorry, Jean Smart of Hacks made history. She has now won an Emmy for every season of her show. And previously, the only actor to sweep the Emmys across every season of their show was Bill Cosby. Oh, man. Good guy like Cosby. He won for all three seasons of I Spy between 1966 and 1968, back when everyone still loved Bill Cosby. I think those are the years when a lot of those allegations were happening, too, right?
Starting point is 01:28:09 So congrats to her. Best Drama was The Pit, and Noah Weil won Best Actor for that as well. There were also a lot of Best Supporting nominations for that show, too. Pretty much anybody who had a guest star in that show was nominated. And then Best Comedy was Widow's Bay. They got 14 wins overall, which was a lot for that show. And that was a show that I watched and really loved, but then I was kind of surprised it won so many awards.
Starting point is 01:28:34 And again, didn't realize pretty much everybody in that show is British. All the awards should go to people like you're talking about. Because in my mind, it's always blown when someone that I watch on a show is like, yeah, man, it's over there, dude. And then you see them in an interview and they're like, well, that's enough of a fact. Thank you so much. And I'm like, what is going on? Because that part, I'm like, damn, they must be good at acting because I had no idea. Right.
Starting point is 01:28:55 And then I realized some and then some people are Irish and then Scottish. And I'm like, what's going on here? I don't think just regular old American actors are being hired anymore just because of the shock factor. Then I think maybe these guys are all American, and they're putting on the accent in their real life. See what I'm saying? Right. I mean, if you are just a boring American actor, how do you make yourself cut through, pretend to be British? Yeah, and then someone's like, oh, they found him in some theater district in London, and they're like, oh, wow, classy, put him in the show.
Starting point is 01:29:23 And then the guy's got to fake a British accent his whole life. I think when you are British and you can do an American accent, everyone automatically assumes you're a fantastic actor. And I imagine it's got to be pretty easy, because a lot of them can do it. Yeah. For the most part, I'm not saying acting is easy, but, I mean, you see people do it. I don't know what makes someone better. Yeah, I'm good at it. Jake is the worst. Oh, my God, Jake is the worst.
Starting point is 01:29:41 That I know. I know bad acting, and Jake's acting is truly atrocious. You're so jealous. Which is why we had to cut him out of every video we've ever shot for the show. You don't want me to show you up. Here's just a little piece of Jean Smart winning lead actress in a comedy series yet again. She spent half the speech just telling the women in the audience to sit down. Okay, just the men stay standing.
Starting point is 01:30:01 The girls get to sit down. I'm serious. No, I'm serious. Every time this happens, I think of the girls are going, oh, I just got comfortable. Why did you? Oh, my God. You got your Spanx and your corset and your tape and your shoes that are cutting your toes off. You're going, oh, my God, she's not that good. So, I mean, that's probably what everyone is thinking. Who is that lady? She sounds super annoying.
Starting point is 01:30:24 I think she called herself annoying in the awards. She's self-aware. Well, when you win that many awards, I think you just run out of things to talk about. You've already thanked everybody. I think eventually when she went into thanking, she just thanked her agents and the creators and was like, see ya, it's been fun. A couple of big shows and festival announcements happened yesterday. Oasis' new tour, the new stagecoach lineup, and the new show at the Sphere.
Starting point is 01:30:49 So the stagecoach lineup includes, not Post Malone, so we're already winning. Kelly Clarkson, which is strange. Garth Brooks, which I'm actually excited about, even though I'm probably not going to go. Willie Nelson, Melissa Etheridge, also excited about that. Matchbox 20, random. Pitbull, Shibuzi. What? Mr. Worldwide is going to be at Stagecoach.
Starting point is 01:31:17 Does he do country stuff? He will. But that's the thing now. It doesn't matter. You've also got Journey and then Shibuzi, who's country, and The Fray. But they kind of just mix it all up again. All that stuff that you said for the exception of Pitbull, I am out.
Starting point is 01:31:31 You mean you don't like this? All these times that I've been down in the 90s and whatever this BSQ Yeah, 90s country. I've got friends in a long place.
Starting point is 01:31:45 I've got a fair chance to lose a wife and I'll be okay. Everyone will probably have guns there, so that'll be easy. Perfect. That is when country, I had a two-week country phase,
Starting point is 01:32:04 and it was during that time period when country wasn't really serious. It was just, hey, let's all drink whiskey and have fun. Even the older country is even better. Yeah. 60s and 70s. Yeah, when it was really problematic. That weird saloon on our walk has stayed with you, though, because whenever you drink still,
Starting point is 01:32:19 Allie gets this weird drunk girl mosey that I've seen. All of a sudden, it gets real strange. Yeah, exactly. And then finally, you have Oprah at the Sphere. Oh, so with Oasis, they announced this 2027 tour. A lot of it's international, but they will have three shows in Boston and three shows in Vegas. So if you missed Oasis the first time around, that's how you can see them again. And then you have Oprah at the Sphere.
Starting point is 01:32:42 What will she do at the Sphere? How dare you, Ali? She's been struggling with her weight her entire life, and you called Oprah a sphere? God, you are so self-hating. Hey, you know what? She fluctuates like all of us. She sure does. I'm a sphere right now, too.
Starting point is 01:32:55 We have an exclusive announcement from the one and only Oprah Winfrey. She's unveiling her first ever immersive journey at the Las Vegas Sphere, what she calls a symphony of the senses. It's called AHA. Oh, my God. We should have a contest on the show where the winner gets to go see Oasis in Vegas and the loser has to go see Oprah in Vegas. At the Sphere.
Starting point is 01:33:16 And it kicks off the first weekend of April with guided meditations. Oh, man. Jesus. Listen, the people at the Sphere usually know what they're doing. Not this time around. Totally agree. They have had some, everything has been a home run at the Sphere. Yes.
Starting point is 01:33:30 And this is a weird moment where we're at a turning point. And Oprah goes, I want to do the Sphere. And I'm going to call it what? Uh-huh. Jesus. Okay, what will happen at it, Oprah? You know what? We'll figure that out later.
Starting point is 01:33:44 We will listen. Oh, man, I got breaking news. Another artist got added to Stagecoach. You guys want to hear it? Here we go. this is actually Garth Brooks we'll get into a brand new hour of the show in moments we'll forget about everything we just heard
Starting point is 01:34:07 and we will start giving you things if you want access to not one, not two, not three but four shows all coming up at the KROQ In-N-Out Burger Sound Space while I hope you listen to the show today one of the greatest prizes we've ever given and that'll be happening later this morning. Get into a brand new hour of the show next.
Starting point is 01:34:23 KROQ. This is the world famous KROQ. Good hour to be locked in on KROQ. As mentioned a moment ago, we will be getting you into all four of those shows. In fact, every hour starting pretty much right now through the rest of the day, you'll get a chance to win your access
Starting point is 01:34:39 to the next four shows of KROQ. Last hour, you heard someone crying to get in. You heard a guy with only a thumb. And you'll have the chances this hour to call and win your way in. I'm not sure how we're going to do that just yet. So just keep listening. Also going to give you an old people's secret so you can live forever.
Starting point is 01:34:54 If you want that, don't care about tickets, but just want to live forever. We'll make that happen for you as well. It's nice to see the old people because at first it was just, hey, you're old. We're going to interview you. Yeah. Now it's an old person wing walking. Now it's an old person who still works at Arby's. It's an old person accomplishment that gets you front and center these days.
Starting point is 01:35:13 I think that that's what the old people really want, to still work at Arby's. I think that's really right up there with wing-walking, Allie. I mean, they look like the meat at that point. I think they are working at Arby's because they have no other choice, and they have to pay to live. Just because they want something to do. Just a fan of the beef. Anyway, we've got lots to get to this hour,
Starting point is 01:35:33 so if you need us, phone us, 800-520-1067 to call, to text. There's also a GOAT line there, a variety of messages that have been piling up over the last few days about a couple of different topics. Let me just see here. You know what? We'll get to this in just a moment. I do want to get into the song from The Strokes right now because it's the least we can do for you.
Starting point is 01:35:56 And then we'll get into the entire hour we have in store for you, which will include, as we mentioned, four tickets. Also, Johnny's got his Jason report to tell you about the events you should be knowing about. And we're the greatest stretch of months of the year, that July through November, right in the middle of that. So get ready as we check in with the Jason Chopper in moments and see what's happening high above and things you could be doing. And that'll be next on KROQ. It's a bird, it's a plane, it's the idiot. If we look to the skies high above Southern California right now, in the Jason Chopper, we have Postmaster Johnny with his very important Jason report. He believes that the greatest stretch of months of the year have nothing to do with Christmas, nothing to do with, you know, the beginning of summer, Memorial Day.
Starting point is 01:36:38 No, no, no. All the good stuff he believes happened between the months of July and November. Jason. Jason, as he calls it. So without any further ado, we go up to the skies high above, and we get Postmaster Johnny with his Jason report. The last few have not been great. He says he's really put more effort in, so let's check in with Johnny in the chopper.
Starting point is 01:36:58 Johnny, what's going on in Jason? Johnny, are you up there, Johnny? Here's what's going on this week in Jason. So the brand new Oasis movie, Don't Look Back in Anger, came out like a week ago. And I'm finally going to go see it with my buddies this week. And it's going to be so sick. And we're probably just going to throw popcorn at each other and just sing along to like every song. It's going to be biblical, mate.
Starting point is 01:37:17 And then in October, my cousin's getting married in Santa Barbara. And it's going to be sick because all my uncles and my cousins are going to be there. And I know some chaos is going to ensue at the hotel. I just know it. I did ask my cousin if some listeners could come. And she said, nah, literally. So I can't. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:37:34 And then in November, it's my boy Justin, the engineer's birthday. And we're going to celebrate by going bowling or maybe going for a cruise in his car. And then just end the night at going to Bob's Big Boy and restarting our computers. It'll be sick. And that's what's happening in Jason. That sounds like just what's happening in Johnny's life. That's not Jason at all, Johnny. Damn right.
Starting point is 01:37:55 That's Jason to me. No, no, but Johnny, the argument. You forget that like Jason, I brought it to you all excited because it's all about stuff that happens, like, in my life that I find, like, very interesting and fun. Well, you said the greatest shows, the greatest movies, the greatest... Yeah, and I started including the shows,
Starting point is 01:38:11 and then you're like, no, stop doing it. It sounds like a concert calendar. K-Raw concert calendar. And I was like, well... Well, it's a mix of things, but most people listening now to that Jason report can't go to Bob's Big Boy with Engineer Justin, and they can't go...
Starting point is 01:38:22 Well, they could. They probably could. Can't go to your cousin's wedding. No, we didn't say it was a closed invite. Well, you said that about your cousin's wedding specifically. Yeah, and I said sorry. He did say sorry. Yeah, he did say sorry. That's true.
Starting point is 01:38:31 Okay. And a Santa Barbara wedding is probably going to be a good time. So Jason's not the greatest stretch of months for everyone, just the greatest stretch of months for you. Yeah. Look, I added all the other concert fun stuff, but then you're like, change it. And I was like, all right, man.
Starting point is 01:38:46 And you weren't here last time, but we played a call from somebody who loved the Jason reports. What did he say, Allie? I don't remember. Oh, now you don't remember. It was the best. It was so funny. I think they were upset that we weren't doing the Jason reports more often.
Starting point is 01:39:01 More often? I think that person had a traumatic brain injury. More often. Yeah, I mean, I remember at the beginning thinking to myself, wow, I forgot about all this cool stuff that's happening. It's always good to have things to look forward to. Hey, he started with something that came out a couple weeks ago. Right.
Starting point is 01:39:16 The Oasis movie. That came out Friday. That came out Friday. Right, right, yeah. Okay, but he's going to see it. So he might have a review of that eventually. All right. Well, that was the highly requested Jason report from a postmaster, Johnny.
Starting point is 01:39:34 Are there any shows that you're excited about going to, Johnny? Yes. And I mentioned them already all the time. But you guys are like, no, change it up. Like, do like. Well, I think we were mentioning that if you're just saying what's happening in K-Rock world, we kind of already talk about all that stuff. K-Rock world is my world.
Starting point is 01:39:49 So, like, look, shows I'm looking forward to. I'm looking forward to Ohana Fest. I'm looking forward to the four amazing sound space shows we're going to have here. Fontaine's Paradox, it's going to be amazing. And then in October, it's literally Showtober. There's like a show every single week. What about what's happening this Saturday? Oh, Tenderfest, of course.
Starting point is 01:40:06 I mean, that's something that a person listening could go, oh, that's something I could look forward to as well. It's not Johnny's cousin's wedding. Johnny's cousin's wedding is going to be an amazing time. What's interesting is that this week is the event at Descanso. Yeah, our big event. The show's event. But we've already talked about that and covered it already.
Starting point is 01:40:24 Like, we already got it going on. Not from the chopper, we didn't. How come that's not going to be so sick? And that one you are invited to. Anyone's invited to that. And your cousins and uncles. So, well, anyway, we'll give you tickets later this hour to Tenderfest if you want to eat chicken this weekend.
Starting point is 01:40:39 And this guy called yesterday. I told Story Alley about how I've been replaced by Urkel to be the host of the Contender event, which is the thing I did last time after you sang the National Anthem, and they replaced me with Urkel without telling me. Hey there. I just listened to a Monday show, and I think Kevin Klein does those huge props.
Starting point is 01:40:57 It's got to be so difficult with Ali gone. You've got to introduce the whole show. Not really, by the way. No, that's not any different. I don't help with that. As always, man, Klein, you're a professional. You're entertaining. You are funny.
Starting point is 01:41:11 I'm a huge fan of the show, but I am especially, especially a huge Kevin Klein fan. Thank you. And so, in that mind, I was wondering, do you think you can introduce me to Urkel? Oh, you son of a bitch. You asshole. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:41:24 That guy's just trying to butter me up because he wants to meet Urkel. Do you have to co-host with Urkel now? No, no, I'm not involved in that at all. I've been replaced. I thought you were hosting. They've come up with a fake title because they felt bad replacing me with Urkel. Don't you feel like you should just say, no, I'm good? I kind of know.
Starting point is 01:41:41 Bow out? Yeah, I should. Why are you saying yes to a made-up position when they're, like, forcing you to be included? Are they going to pay you in, like, chicken tenders? Oh, there's no payment. I'm not getting paid at all. What? I assume I can eat chicken tenders because I'll be at a place called Tender Fest.
Starting point is 01:41:55 I assume because you talk about Tender Fest constantly that somebody's giving you money. Oh, no. So you're just endlessly plugging Tender Fest out of the kindness bureau. I've never been paid a dollar to host a Pizza City Fest. Never get paid a nickel. Are you for real? Yeah, free. For the love of the food.
Starting point is 01:42:13 Well, that's just dumb. Why? Dumber than the Jason report we just heard. That's not dumber than the Jason report. Oh, it totally is. It is. It's the love of the food. I love the food
Starting point is 01:42:22 yeah I love the food I want to hear Klein's Jason report but just for food I'm ready to go tomorrow I'm not going to be able to do a helicopter though won't be able to lift me but I'll do it in a truck a flatbed do that full report I'll have it for you tomorrow morning when we get back we'll help you live forever with an old people secret
Starting point is 01:42:38 we will also get you into four shows at KROQ and that will all be happening after this KROQ Klein Alley Show before we get into the old people secrets this week and help you live forever and give you tickets to come to the next four shows here at KROQ. Jake ran into Moist Joyce in the streets,
Starting point is 01:42:54 which is nothing new, because he always seems to do that, and she's usually getting onto or off of mass transit, but she is a regular at the same bar that Jake's a regular at, which I believe we all know by now is Champs in Burbank. You're there probably three, four nights a week, Jake? Oh, maybe.
Starting point is 01:43:10 Yeah, I guess. That would be low. That's your third place. It's okay. I would say more. He's there more than that. Jake, right? Would you say more than three, four times a week? Not three or four times a night, but like three, four times a week, yeah. Sometimes I'm going to do that daytime.
Starting point is 01:43:25 Right. So you stop by and have a drink before you're nappy? There's been times I've done that, yeah. So don't judge Jake because Moist Joyce, he ran into her. He said she was the absolute most drunk he'd ever seen her. And if you don't believe me, you're going to want to hear this audio because it is intense, Sally. And as a friend of Moist Joyce, you thought to yourself, I could help this woman or I could record her. Actually, she said, I need to talk to you.
Starting point is 01:43:56 I want to talk to you. I want to talk to you for Clyde Alley Show. See, that's what she said. I mean, this is a weird, this is two minutes. The inspiration strikes. This is two minutes. Roll the cameras. We've been accused of being a very weird show.
Starting point is 01:44:06 And I take that as a compliment. This is about as weird as it's going to get. So you've got to listen to this. Hey, Moist Joycey now. Oh, my gosh. I don't care what you ask me. But the bottom line is Roadrunner says beep once for no. Beep, beep, for twice.
Starting point is 01:44:29 So she's explaining that doesn't... She's translating Roadrunner speak. Yeah, Jake can ask her anything he wants to, but she will only answer like the Roadrunner. Which is once for no and two for twice. And two for twice, so... Says beep once for no. Beep, beep, for twice.
Starting point is 01:44:49 Can you ask me a couple questions? Did I like the movie? Did you like the movie? Beep, beep. No, you didn't? No, it was a beep, beep. I thought beep was yes. I'm so confused.
Starting point is 01:45:03 Beep once for no, twice for twice. Twice for twice. So there is no yes as an answer. No, beep, beep is yes. I'm sorry. Maybe not. So she gave up on her whole system for that. Now the beep-beep language doesn't work.
Starting point is 01:45:17 They immediately move away into a more important conversation. How wasted are you? Oh, I'm totally wasted right now. I am. Sorry. No, I'm going to the Hollywood Bowl tonight. Oh, are you? So her plan was to go front.
Starting point is 01:45:35 What time of the evening is this, Jake? This is not. This is in the middle of the day. This is like during the football games. Wow. The middle of the day, Joyce. Do you know what she got a hold of that got her so drunk? I know she likes this Long Island iced tea that costs like $20, and she wants it made
Starting point is 01:45:51 by a certain bartender who just makes it with like 98% alcohol. Well, I think that drink already is like 98% alcohol. If you just want to get hammered quickly, that's a good place to start. That's when I first started drinking. I had to do Long Islands because that was what would get me the most wasted. I think bartenders hate making them, too, because it's kind of annoying. They take a while, yeah. So she's drinking a lot, and she has multiple of these, or this can't just be one?
Starting point is 01:46:12 I only saw her with one drink, but I also saw her, like, almost passed out at the table before I talked to her. So this is her beep-beeping with Long Island iced teas, and she's off to the Hollywood Bowl after this. What do you see at the Hollywood Bowl tonight? I don't know. I don't see somebody. She doesn't know why she's going there. Jason, baby. She just knows that she's going.
Starting point is 01:46:30 I don't see somebody at the Hollywood Bowl. I love the Hollywood Bowl. I go all the time. I mean, she is. Is she just going, or she's going inside? Oh, she's going inside, I think. Like she bought a ticket to the Hollywood Bowl? I don't know how she gets in.
Starting point is 01:46:48 Moist Choice, for those of you that are new to the show, she's like a historical partier. She would tell us that she used to party in the Studio 54 days when she was in primetime, when that was the hottest spot on the planet. She was there. Now she's at a bar in Burbank. But, you know, it's the life cycle of the partying, I guess.
Starting point is 01:47:05 On a scale of 1 to 10, how f***ed up are you right now? I'm very f***ed up. Can you tell? Yeah. Yeah, your eyes are closed. Allie, I don't want to ruin this for you, but at some point here, she starts licking Jake's leg. Cool. And it's very uncomfortable.
Starting point is 01:47:19 Vanessa saw an actual video of this, and she said it needed a trigger warning. It was so unhinged for her to watch. It was wild. For watch, but... My eyes are like this, and I'm still going to the hospital. I'm going to grab, I'm probably going to fall asleep. I love it, I know. I was so sad that I couldn't do the clam slam.
Starting point is 01:47:42 She's upset now. She's getting emotional. Those are the faces of drunk drivers. She's almost crying because she missed our clam slam. I'm just so careless. But now I have a buddy that wants to go with me to any. If you invite me, Moose Juice, to any of your events, I now have a friend that wants to take me. This Wednesday coming up, the Siesta Fiesta.
Starting point is 01:48:06 Can you come? Oh, my gosh. Wednesday, this is my diamond painting class. What is it? Her diamond painting class. Diamond painting. She teaches that or she still goes to it? She goes to the classes.
Starting point is 01:48:21 Yeah, she does this artwork. She does these diamond paintings. Just say what you want about Moise Joyce, but she has a thriving social life. She really does. She's always staying busy. And I was just looking at the Hollywood Bowl schedule, and she may have seen Andrea Bocelli that night. Ooh.
Starting point is 01:48:36 Classy bra, huh? So you can't come? No, maybe. Can drunk Moist Joyce give me any life advice? Life advice is keep moving. Keep going. Do whatever you can. Okay, I'm down sadly.
Starting point is 01:48:52 Oh. Who's that? That's God calling. It's your time. It's your time, Joyce. Hello, it's The Undertaker. I'm here for Moist Joyce. Joyce.
Starting point is 01:49:01 It's good to see you again. We've got a bed for you right here. Who's ringing? Who's ringing? It's you, not me. Is that her phone? Yes. And she's asking who's ringing?
Starting point is 01:49:17 Yes. I mean, it's... Is she going to answer in beeps or... Beep, beep. I love Klein Alley. I love Klein Alley. I love Klein Alley. She think we're calling her?
Starting point is 01:49:26 I'm waiting. Moist choice. F***ed up. Yeah, but I'm moist choice. F***ed up. But look, you're hairy. This is when sexual moist choice comes out and she gets very into Jake.
Starting point is 01:49:38 She's got the drunk goggles on and she sees Jake. This is weird, but this is where the twist happens. You've now heard emotional. You've heard sensitive. You've heard excited. You've heard that kind of falling asleep. Now she's on the prowl. I know you're hairy.
Starting point is 01:49:54 You like it? I love it. Holy s***. My husband is hairy. You want to make out? I don't want to lick it. You want to lick my leg? She still said no?
Starting point is 01:50:10 She's so drunk. She's literally barely breathing. She's like... She was beeping a second ago. No. Beep, beep. Do you want to make out? Beep, beep.
Starting point is 01:50:18 What's the one for no? You want to lick my leg? This is you. Whoa. And oh my God. Look at that. Let's go. Let's do it.
Starting point is 01:50:29 Let's do it. Jake, were you... Got the video. Were you prepared to make out with Moist Joyce? No, I was not. I just wanted to see what she said. You asked her. Do you think that new girl you're seeing would be mad that this other woman licked your leg?
Starting point is 01:50:41 I don't think so. She was right inside, actually. You just said this is the other woman. This is who you're battling? She talks in beeps. So how did that end? You just went back inside? No, I took the video of her licking my leg, and then after that, I went back inside.
Starting point is 01:50:58 There's a new trend that Moist Joyce is not going to be a fan of. And it is called, well, it kind of is actually, Allie. It's called the Darty. And it's happening at college campuses. And it sucks. And we need to put a stop to it. And we'll talk about that next right here on KROQ. Trend alert.
Starting point is 01:51:17 I don't think you're going to like this. And it has a stupid name, so you would probably think I'd be on board with it. But apparently now there is a new thing happening. Gen Z is to blame. It's called Wellness Darties. Now, when I saw this on the schedule, I thought that maybe Vanessa had misspelled something, and I kept trying to think, what does she mean? Well, a wellness darty is exactly what it sounds like, Allie.
Starting point is 01:51:39 It's a daytime party. That's why it's a darty. Ah. And instead of the traditional concept of a bunch of people getting in a parking lot and trying to race to finish a keg, they're now doing different wellness activities together. Oh, so this isn't even day drinking? No, drinking is... The party during the day was just day drinking.
Starting point is 01:51:58 This is what would look like. You would see it from a distance and you would think, oh, my God, that must be a fun party happening. And then you get closer and you realize, oh, no. This isn't a party. It's a darty. I've walked into a darty. So this is one step further than those dumb coffee raves that they're having. Exactly right, Omar.
Starting point is 01:52:17 This is the sober trend of daytime hangouts. This is the new thing now. And, you know, we're all a bunch of degenerate losers because we used to like to sit around and funnel beers in a parking lot, which I used to think was fun, and I still think seems fun. We just did with Tegger, and it was fun. It was fun, yeah. And this one, apparently, is an opportunity for people to get together, and there's a new trend that's called bone chilling. Is that like they're actually chilling bones, or they're calling it fun? They get together and they optimize doing things that are good for themselves, for their mental health and their physical health.
Starting point is 01:52:55 Drinking milk? Magnesium? I'll tell you what happens. Peptides? Instead of beer and shots, Wellness Darties can feature group runs, yoga, cold plunges and ice baths, saunas, matchas, coffees, energy drinks, protein bars, and fruit. Boy, it does sound fruity. I know that you have done some of these things Not like this
Starting point is 01:53:19 Quietly in my own shame You do them privately Yeah I'm not going to go to any sort of If someone invited me to a darty I will say I saw some girls on my Instagram Have a bachelorette trip And they did like yoga And Pilates as part of their activities
Starting point is 01:53:37 Like it was a main thing And I thought it was like weird Right but that's I mean that's what's happening now Because people decided What it used to be, wine tasting all day or day drinking. Well, look, I mean, if somebody, say, is sober and they want to get rid of all their, quote, toxic friends that just want to funnel beers all day and they surround themselves with new people that promote good activities like running and Pilates and all that crap, that's good to be around people like that. It's going to help promote a healthier lifestyle for you.
Starting point is 01:54:06 I don't like turning it into a word that nobody cares about like darty, but I understand the basic concept. I don't think we need to turn it into a trend. In the world of actual numbers here, Omar, what he mentioned was these morning coffee raves, the coffee clubbing where they're turning coffee shops and getting good DJs into coffee shops. So it's everyone standing around with a DJ playing, but instead of drinking and doing drugs, you're all just sipping, you know, espressos, whatever. That's up 478%. That vibe is only made through drugs. You can't have a rave without drugs. So they go hand in hand.
Starting point is 01:54:41 I think the problem is you still have traditional ravers that will be on drugs, but just do the drugs at the coffee shop. And then you have other people that are just on coffee. And that's the weird world. So then the sober coffee people are having conversations with coming down from drugs people? Yeah. That can't be an enjoyable, like when someone's sober, you don't want to talk to somebody at a coffee shop who's wasted on drugs? Now someone, here's the good news. Some of the attendees claim that they went to the Darty only because they were out partying late the night before.
Starting point is 01:55:12 So it was kind of a recovery. The Darty continued. So it was a way to continue the Darty. And rather than just keep drinking, they go, I partied last night. So today, tonight we partied. Tomorrow we Darty. We Darty. I Sharty.
Starting point is 01:55:25 I believe you do. Jason Sharty. So that is sadly happening now. And it's happening at. This is sadly real. And I'm going to tell you right now because there's a list of colleges where these are happening at quite regularly. And these used to be the top party schools, University of Florida, University of Miami, Florida State, Syracuse. I'm so sad at what's going on there now.
Starting point is 01:55:45 What are the top darty schools? Well, now these schools, where's that list? So get ready. 626 said, I used to work for Binocular Company, and we had a guy come in by set for a birdwatching bachelor party. That's not a birdwatching. This is the future of partying now. That's not a bachelor party. They're all going to go peeping, dude.
Starting point is 01:56:04 Yeah, they're all peeping. There's no birds there. Okay, well, I want to go to that. That sounds fun. Yeah, where are the birds? A peeping potty? In that apartment complex. Allie's a peeping darty right there.
Starting point is 01:56:15 So there you have it. Don't be a darty pooper. I'm excited about this now. So stupid. If you'd like to see that band right there, just below where we're doing the show right now at the K-Rock and Alberger Soundspace, why don't you call us?
Starting point is 01:56:28 We will send you to see The Paradox and three other bands. And all you got to do is be called 20 right now at 805-201-067. Let's get you those tickets to the next four shows happening here. And one of those shows will include that band you just heard a moment ago, The Paradox.
Starting point is 01:56:41 We ran out of time, so tomorrow we will get you the old people's secret. Here's a tease. Oh, dear. That person is old, and they've got a secret to help you live forever. So if you can live between now and tomorrow, hopefully we will help you live many years longer
Starting point is 01:56:55 with that lady's old people's secret. It could be a new Sweet Divots on our hands, so we're very excited about that. That woman knows how to darty. Takeaways from today's show before we turn things over to Sluggo. 626, my takeaway is Allie is fluent in sad, crying lady-ese. Yeah, if anyone's crying, call in and cry and Allie will translate. 818, my takeaway is 18C, baby.
Starting point is 01:57:19 18C forever. I will not switch. Remember, if you didn't hear the entire show today, Allie refused to give up her seat so that a family could sit together with a young baby. The baby was fine. they put on the iPad. Even just the impression you did of the baby
Starting point is 01:57:33 going, Papa! No! Papa! So sad. You drown it out when you put the AirPods in. You can't hear any of that.
Starting point is 01:57:41 These are noise canceling, so not my problem, kid. 818 Popcorn is not a doctor snack. Shouldn't be. 626 Vanessa pays her own bills, bitch. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:57:53 213 Johnny is a real exemplary gay. And 626 James is all thumbs up. for safety. Yeah, I like that guy, James. I hope he calls the show again sometime. Apparently it took him three years to call the show because he only got one thumb, but he
Starting point is 01:58:07 finally figured it out. We'd love to hear from that guy again. Maybe tomorrow he wins those four tickets to the next shows happening at K-Rock. What's your takeaway from today's show, Vanessa? Klein's about to have a mukbang off with his therapist. Yeah, that's what we're paying for now. We're just paying to watch
Starting point is 01:58:23 each other mukbang. I'm going to go over the top with her with those ribs I got from Stanley's Oh, yeah, from the Honey Baked Ham place. I heard about that. Got a lot of ribs. Am I one up or what? Yeah, you're supposed to bring those in today.
Starting point is 01:58:37 You were supposed to bring ribs today and you didn't? They thawed out. I thawed them. He promised. It wasn't in the email. Oh, yeah, you did say you were going to bring them. Yeah, Vanessa didn't remind me in the email. Let's talk more ribby.
Starting point is 01:58:49 All right, I'll put it in today's email. I didn't know that was serious. Yeah, I got ribs. I'll bring them in. We can eat them. Finger licking. We'll bring them on Thursday because we've got to have food tomorrow. Oh, my God, Jake.
Starting point is 01:59:00 Jake is already bringing containers tomorrow. Jake's the worst. Tell you the one thing, there will not be a thank you no matter what day I bring them in from Jake, that's for sure. You promised. Doesn't mean you can't say thank you, Jake. It doesn't matter. I'm on ribs.
Starting point is 01:59:14 You have a takeaway, Johnny? It's just gazungas, man. Just gazungas. It's true. Jake, you have a takeaway? Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Klein Quasi show. Quasi, you have a takeaway? Magic Johnson beat AIDS.
Starting point is 01:59:28 Yeah, according to Google, he sure did. He would take away their Omar. When a guy's all thumbs, Vanessa gets all hot and bothered. No. I just thought he was amazing. Vanessa loved that guy. Oh, my God. We will do it tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Try to do it better. If you need us in the meantime, there's a GOAT line for you. 844-956-GOAT is a great way to leave any messages you have about the show, good, bad, or otherwise. Let me say hi quickly and give Julian some good news before we get the hell out of here. From Long Beach. Hello, Julian. All right, how's it going? You are the 20th caller.
Starting point is 02:00:01 You'll be at the next four shows here at KROQ, all right? Awesome. Thank you so much. Come hungry and be ready to hear some amazing live music. Enjoy some In-N-Out and hang tight, and you'll have more chances to win those tickets coming up again with Sluggo once we exit the premises, which is right about now.
Starting point is 02:00:18 Climbing Alley, it's just okay. Climbing Alley, it's just okay. Wow. All right, this episode of Klein Alley Show, the podcast has come to an end.
