Welcome, everyone, Kentucky Sports Radio Tuesday, March the 12th SEC Tournament Week. I am Matt Jones here at KS. Bar and Grill. Come on out and have lunch. We got a full house. I got Ryan. I got Drew, Shannon. This is our last show in Lexington or Louisville until after the SEC tournament. For me, it might be the last show in Kentucky probably a week and a half.

Then it's looking like Kentucky is very likely to go to either New York or Pittsburgh, both of which are Thursday Saturday. So it doesn't, and I have to go meet bosses at ESPN Monday. Oh, I didn't realize that. So it doesn't make sense to fly back Tuesday to fly right back Wednesday. Yeah. So I might just stay there. I hadn't thought of that.

I thought we're going to Spokane, which was going to be different, but I think we're, it looks like Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is the most likely. And Pittsburgh's a Thursday Saturday? Pittsburgh's a Thursday Saturday. And I think so is Brooklyn. So is Spokane. They're all a third.

I think for Kentucky fans trying to think about the NCAA tournament, I think we're almost certainly going to be on a Thursday Saturday. And I think we're going to be in Pittsburgh. It's looking like our little subbracket and Creighton is going to be in Pittsburgh. Going to get all that hot Creighton action, Drew. I love hot crate and action. I've been rooting for Pittsburgh and Brooklyn, even when they looked like long shots. So I love that it's kind of looking like that may be the cases that's getting closer.

Yeah, because the best teams in the country tend to be here in like the middle of the country. You've got Yukon will be up there. But then besides that, you got Purdue, Houston's kind of in the southern middle of the country. You got Tennessee. You got Marquette. You got all these teams. They're all right here. So that may be how we end up there.

Is the Houston region then feed into Boston? Would you have that how you would Well that You know they don't do that The regionals are not like that Yeah So the regionals you can end up So like we have no idea

Where we're going to end up in the region I don't think we're going to end up in L.A. Because I think Tennessee will So I don't think they'll put us in the Tennessee Regional. But the first, all right, so let's just play the game. You tell me here are the cities where you do it

So Purdue will be the over one. They'll go to Indianapolis. Yes. Right. Yeah. Then the second is Houston. The closest one of them is Memphis. They'll get that.

They'll get that. So then you go to you. to Yukon. They're going to be in Brooklyn. Yes. All right. Then you go to Tennessee. What's closer to Tennessee? Charlotte or Memphis? Charlotte. It's actually Charlotte. Because Knoxville is actually closer to Charlotte, even though Memphis is in their state. So they're going to Charlotte. Then you go next is

Arizona. They'll be in Salt Lake City. It's a long far away. The North Carolina, Charlotte's taken up. You're gone. Marquette, Indianapolis. Now Indianapolis is gone. You don't get to go to Indianapolis. Then Iowa State, Omaha is probably the closest to Iowa State. Then comes Creighton. They're not allowed to play in Omaha because they're in Omaha.

So they have to go somewhere else. Oddly, the closest thing is Pittsburgh. The next is us. And what's closer? Pittsburgh or Memphis. Is it Memphis? Memphis is six hours. That's pretty close.

So Pittsburgh's six hours too. Yeah. So look it up. What's your thing? What's the mileage? Whichever one's close. if it stayed like this. Yeah.

Now, if Baylor passes us, the closest one for them is Memphis. Memphis. And then we'd be in Pittsburgh. So what's closer, Pittsburgh or Memphis? I think it's going to be Pittsburgh, but I'm... See, you don't think of Pittsburgh, Shannon, as being closer than Memphis. But it may be the case that Pittsburgh, Shannon, is closer than Memphis. Well, we want to go to Pittsburgh, right?

We have good memories there. Which is which? Pittsburgh by 50 miles from Lexington. Would you have ever believed that? Nope. No. It doesn't feel like it at all. It doesn't feel like it. Like I would feel like Memphis is down the street.

And Pittsburgh, my goodness. That's three flights. And it turns out, you know, to get to Pittsburgh, I look this up, is five hours and 45 minutes from here. Yep, 615 to Memphis. So it's really a lot closer to the northeastern side of Kentucky than people realize. Oh, I think people in Ashland go to dinner in Pittsburgh. It is basically West Virginia. Yeah, I mean, you'd think of Pittsburgh.

I kind of think of Pittsburgh as being like New York, but it's really a lot more West Virginia, if you think about it. So if that happens, this will be our third year in a row that you guys have been in Pittsburgh. I hope so. I feel like Pittsburgh is part of, I already found the Airbeats, because it's just going to be me and Drew. I hope it's been that last one you found in Pittsburgh. No, no, no, it's luxury. It says luxury downtown loft.

We don't have to stay in bunk beds. Well, first of all, since it's just me and him, two bedrooms. Whoa, slow down. What? That is luxury. Each with a king bed. Wow. It has a kitchenette, and it's not expensive at all.

And it's like, it's across the river, but we can either probably quickly Uber to the arena. We're going to live in luxury. And the good thing is we are going to live in luxury so that the next week, the four of us, Shannon can sleep on the couch. And Ryan can sleep on the iron. Sounds about right. And then we'll be back to where. But for this weekend, Drew, the Pittsburgh weekend, you and I will be luxurious. This is going to feel like around 2012-ish when we just feel like we drove around the country all the time.

That's right. So if it ends up being Pittsburgh, we will miss you. But that's how I see the geography be playing out. Are you going to get in the latest bracketology now or later? Did you see what Joe did to us this morning? He asked us with Yukon, North Carolina, and Kansas. And we've got us playing Moorhead State

in the first game. Preston Spradlin, round one. Well, I mean, I hate that, but we'll beat them. But you're round two. Who's round two? Well, Clemson would be the favorite in the game, but if they were to get upset, it's the winner of St. John's and Indiana State.

Oh, St. John's in Indiana, oh, Petino and Lynn, Cree. First of all, if I get to see Cream Abdul-Jvarr in person, Can you imagine me and Cream or me and Rick in Pittsburgh? Maybe a photo of the three of you. Well, that one of them will win and date. That's true, yeah.

But I'll either get to be with Abdul-Jabbar or to try to talk to Rick Petino. You've got a fan boy all weekend. What if Rick Patino? Because they could beat Clemson, right? There's no reason they couldn't beat Clemson. I really thought that would be the matchup, but in Omaha, the way the KSR thing kind of goes. But yeah, I think Kentucky and St. John's will be pitted against each. Kentucky were to play St. John's in Pittsburgh on a Saturday.

Does our whole state go? Yeah, the fact, it's only six hours from Lexington. Five and 45. Five hours and 45 minutes. And again, in Ashland, they'll already be at dinner. They'll just go ahead and stay there and go to the game. One more. Yukon is the one.

North Carolina is the two. Don't love that. I don't like that part. Well, look, if they gave you Moorhead, St. John's, North Carolina. Carolina, you caught. You can't have more storylines in a regional than John Caliperi would have to do there, right? Of course, they don't look at that, right? That's what they say. We don't look at storyline. That's such bull crap. Okay. Can I take up for them on the we don't look at storylines? Yeah. You say that every year. Even last year we played Kansas State in the second round.

What could that storyline have possibly been? I didn't think there was one last year. So you think last year they decided not to do stories? Well, if there's one, unavailable, they'll take it. I'm with Ryan. If it's there for the taking, they'll do it because it's ratings. It's ratings, though. But the ratings, I say this to you all the time. Now, the Kentucky St. John's thing's a little different

because St. John's, but like Kentucky Carolina, the NCAA would rather have that in the final four than in the Sweet 16. Like, they don't want, like this region he's got of Yukon, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Kansas, if you care about ratings, you wouldn't put all those teams

together. You'd separate them because you're going to, I mean, if you're the NCAA, do you want to have a bracket where the region is, you know, Tennessee or Houston, Marquette, Creighton, Illinois? You're guaranteed a Final Four team there that stinks in terms of ratings. Whereas Yukon, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Kansas, I'd want to spread them out. Sure. Right? Yeah.

First round games, though, they put them together on purpose. So you're saying Morehead is intentional. Morehead's intentional. Like, we play Eastern Kentucky. Can I just give the other side? Yeah. They do geography. Yeah.

We're right next to Moorhead. It's not going to be crazy that us and Moorhead are going to end up in the same place. We're right next to them. So, like, that's part of it is when they do the first rounds with geography. So, like, they take the 15 seats and they go, which place that you could play is closest, we're going to end up playing teams that are closer in the first round. Yeah, we don't have to play Moorhead State. Let them play somebody else.

But Moorhead's the closest. Let them play somebody. else in Pittsburgh. But you understand, like if they were to do that, which I'm not, I don't disagree with you. I'd rather not play Morales. But if they were to do that, they are manipulating the system. Their written rules say to put the team that is on your seed line the closest to not let

us play Moorhead if Moorhead's a 14 is actually going against their rules. I think they do it on purpose. Okay. I did everything I could. I was just right. I did the most rational thing I could do that. He still not changes. I mean, we all have things we believe in.

Might be a little bit of conspiracy. Okay. All right. So let's say that's the bracketology. Yeah. Would we come out of that bracket? If we had to go more head than either Clemson, Indiana State, or St. John's, North Carolina, Yukon, are we going to the final four?

That's a tough road, man. If you've got to go through North Carolina, then Yukon, two teams are playing as good as anybody right now. I think Houston, Yukon, and North Carolina, of the three best teams in us playing right now. We have to go through two of them to get there. That would be, that region would have, in my opinion, three of the six best teams in the country in the region. So that would be extremely difficult.

And I really don't want to see Yukon in Boston, which we keep getting that in all these bracketologies. By the way, the Boston Regional, this is something for Kentucky fans to know. The Boston Regional is almost sold out because Yukon fans already know they're going to be there and they've bought all the tickets. Wow. So, if we end up in Boston, just be prepared to pay a zillion

dollars because they have already bought the tickets because they were they're assuming that's where they're going to be. And anywhere that just has a lot of Yukon fans, especially a home game for them up their account in the Northeast. I want no part of that. It is not even the basketball. I think their best team. It's the human beings that will be breathing the same area as walking the streets to the arena.

Shannon, there's also a worry about if we in Boston, like what happens to Ryan while we're gone? Like the last time we were in Boston is house burned down within seconds. That's right. They're not down, but got caught on fire. Like, what happens now? Your car explodes? Like, where do we, what happens if we go to Boston?

I don't want to think about it. I was in Boston for like five hours. We landed, went to the Fenway. My house caught on fire. I'm on the plane flying back. You were on, you were on at Fenway Park five minutes. Couldn't believe it. I'd like to go back to Boston and experience.

I didn't get to go to Cheers. That's what we need. I didn't get to see all the historical things. You know, we'll be there. that weekend would be opening that. Oh. Drag King could probably hook us up again. Well, I don't know if I did.

Let's not push our luck. The last time we were quite a deal for them when we went. We've seen the trail tears once. But I mean, like my point is, is Boston at home that weekend? Oh, I have no idea. Let's see if Boston's at home. Because if Boston is at home, you could be in Boston for opening day. For opening day weekend.

That would be pretty cool, wouldn't it? I think Big Poppy would want us to come up in the, Draft King, Sweetie. Let's see. Oh, they're at Seattle. Oh, they're at Seattle. Oh, that's what they always go and do on opening. Their home opener's the film.

Well, you can still, like, go watch it with Red Sox fans like in a bar. Cheers will be open. That'll be a big revenge tour if it is Yukon and Boston. Cal's got, in Kentucky, have plenty of revenge to get on Yukon in the tournament. You've got Boston. I've been punched by a Yukon fan. I've been punched by Yukon. We could all, we could all make it right up there.

We will see. But I do think Pittsburgh, for those of you are in the Pittsburgh, I think that's where we're going to end up. As long as the map is correct and we're closer to Pittsburgh to Memphis. That's where we would end up. Man, what a switch the last couple of weeks here. We thought we were going out west, Spokane or Salt Lake City. Well, we've been playing so good. He had a deep love for his family church and his beloved Kentucky Wildcats May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends during this difficult time you know that's awful my goal as somebody as many of you know uh did the show before this one um for a while with with shannon or a couple hours before this one um and was a you know a friend of this show and the people on it and Shannon I guess I'll start with you because you worked with him for for a couple of years and just your thoughts completely shocked to see that I mean Michael is somebody who I consider a good friend you know um even after the show ended we still would talk text sometimes go out and grab lunch together i mean

i just had dinner with them a few weeks ago and i it's like one of those things you see it you don't even believe it's true so i'm just in complete shock right now absolutely sad yeah i'm sorry man i know you i mean we all knew him and we're all uh friends with him but you i know we're very close to it's hard to process man yeah i mean i don't even know It's a gut punch. I mean, he's, he would still listen. He was still text when he hears us do stuff. And it's very, very sad right now.

Yeah. Nobody loved Kentucky more than him. Former UK baseball player. Oh, is that right? Yeah, I didn't run. Yeah, he was. UK baseball player. Shannon, what did he do before this?

He had a, like, he sort of made his money doing something else. Selling like spinal implants. Okay. So he made his money selling spinal implants and then kind of, as a second life in some way started doing this the media thing later in his in his career yeah i'm thinking back to just shannon and just posted that picture recently seeing him still in shock cc tournament was big for him have nashville memories with him down there just like you all in disbelief of what just came across the internet here yeah so i mean we don't have any more details than that because that was just

literally put out here just a few minutes ago but rest in peace to his family and friends chaninman you can say like what his family said he had uh he at least how many kids had two kids uh who he absolutely loved i mean just adored those two and yeah and his wife i mean his wife and two kids who were the the love of his life so i don't know what else to say i mean i'm just i'm at a loss of words right now yeah i'm shaking we'll we'll see if we can find out more about it but again our prayers to uh to michael bitt and his family just just the Cats radio for a number of years right here before this show. Not an easy transition. Tough transition here. But we'll try to say something that I think would probably have made him happy. Were you surprised to see the ringer yesterday had Reed Shepard as the number one overall pick in the draft? You know, my 17-year-old son doesn't get excited about a lot of things. He couldn't wait, I think, to get home and tell me that. Dead. You see, they've got Reed Shepherd number one now.

And I think it just shows you how this team has made everybody so excited. Number one. Number one. I mean, not like, I mean, we've seen him number five. Number one. Those two Australian dudes have been one and two forever, right? Not anymore. Not anymore.

I mean, I know Kevin O'Connor, the guy who does that, has been a Reed Shepard fan from the beginning. He's probably had him higher than other people have since the beginning of the year. Still, though. Number one? I mean, he talks, he's not just dreaming of it. Like, he talks to NBA personnel. He knows who they're interested in. I think it's Kentucky fans.

We're just, we can't believe that would even be a conversation. 13th region. But if you take ourselves out of watching him grow up and you just look at the options, and they're talking about pairing him with Wimby is the reason they have him at number one. Spurs getting number one. and you're looking at who's available, it's like, well, it's not that crazy to put the way he plays with that team. Now, us just knowing Reed, we're like, Reed is the number one pick that sounds outrageous. But if you look at the other options, it's not that outrageous to take him ahead of the Yukon Guard or the...

Okay, so what is the, what's the highest pick of a kid from Kentucky ever? Is it we looked at. Wes Unseld? Oh, I thought you met the highest Kentucky kid that played at Kentucky. No, just the highest person from Kentucky in the drug. First of all, who's the highest from Kentucky that played in Kentucky? I think it's Frank Ramsey, right? And where did he go?

He went fifth. Okay. I don't know where he went to the... He may have gone third and Melvin Turpin went fifth, I think. All right. So where did Wes Unsell go? He was the... Wasn't he one or two or something, wasn't he?

Okay. So, I mean, we're talking about... He was number two. He was number two. He was number two. Okay, so Wes Unsell was two. Frank Ramsey was fifth. Darrell Griffith didn't go in the top two, right?

I don't think so. I don't think so either. And then I don't think. Rex was like seventh or something, wasn't he? Darrell Griffith was number two. So Darrell Griffith and Wes Unsail, too. So if he were to go number one, he would be the only player from the state of Kentucky to ever go number one in the draft. Player of the year to 13th region, the number one draft pick.

Likely not coming back if he's the number one pick at the draft. I know you got to prove a little. I mean, two years ago, we were calling his game. I mean, that's crazy. If you told me I was watching the number one pick, I would have said. you were on something. Like, I mean,

he looks like a great high school basketball players. I think it's junior year he lost to Knox Central. Like, like, I mean, I can't. The dude hit seven out of ten threes in Knoxville Saturday. I guess that's enough to bolt him up to the number one spot.

The moment he took that three on the fast break, I would have taken a number one. Well, I was shocked to see that. I mean, normally you just, you think of number one. You think of a guy who's like,

otherworldly, you know whether it's athleticism or whatever like you just you think of a dude that's like you just you don't think of a kid from north laurel high school going number one i mean would that be like the the biggest fantasy thing that has happened a kid grows and like goes to kentucky his parents both played basketball at kentucky and he he is the fifth most celebrated player in his class and then he plays himself into the number one pick in the draft. Are you saying he's AI? Because that's my only explanation for everything you're saying right there.

That is crazy. That's crazy, isn't it? Yeah, it's obvious Jeff and Stacey need to have more kids. They need to get busy and have more kids for us. We don't need to say get busy. But they... It's amazing, isn't it? It is amazing.

It's almost impossible to fathom it had, I think, Rob Dillingham going fourth or fifth in the same draft. So we're going to have... I mean, there's a decent. at chance. We're going to have two top five picks who don't start. That's going to be the storyline 10 years from now. These guys are excelling

in the NBA. Can you believe neither one of those guys start? What if the number one overall pick and he doesn't start? Which is insane. Insane. I just have this middle image because Reed is still kind of, he's still kind of boyish compared to the line. He is. The moment I saw that number one pick, I had a mental

image of him like hand-checking LeBron or all Steph Curry, all these players that you think these NBA icons and then we might have 19 year old Reed Shepard. So we can say that if this ends up being true, and I have to say I'll still take that I'll be surprised if he were to go number one. But let's say that he did. Are we still going to have people who argue he's going to come back?

Yes. He's a Kentucky kid. Kentucky kid means a lot to him playing in Kentucky. If he's number one, though, I'll drive him to the airport. Like he has to go, right? We've heard other players not with the Kentucky connection say, Cal lock the door. I was not allowed back. If he's number one, you cannot let him come back.

Shannon, you tell everybody what happened during that last segment. This is like unbelievable. I text it Michael Bennett's phone. I said, Michael, question mark. He texted back, Shannon, question mark. I said, is it real what I'm seeing on Twitter? He tweeted back question mark. I then pick up the phone and call him.

Michael Bennett answers the phone. So Michael Bennett's still alive. And this is one of the stranger things. that has ever happened to me in my life so unless i just talked to michael unless i just talked to michael bennan just talked to a damn ghost michael bennan is still alive and well and i and he's just it looks like he has just tweeted out i'm alive my emotions my he said he just tweeted out that my account has been hacked yeah put you on a carousel of emotions we were all so upset i mean i was happy he's alive about in tears 10 minutes ago and now i'm laughing

I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say about that either. I'm glad he's alive. And at least he's alive and healthy. I don't know what else to say about that. It's the strangest thing that I think has ever happened to me. That's one of the weirder things that's ever happened on this. I mean, like, I thought we found out his death on the radio.

What made you texting, though, Shannon, and say. Like, if you thought he was dead. Yeah. I just wanted somebody to answer me. I thought maybe his wife would answer to him. You thought maybe his wife would answer to him? I thought his son or somebody would answer me and tell me what happened. Yeah.

Yeah. And then you called him and he just answered. Well, when he answered it, yeah, when he just replied, Shaining, question mark. So he didn't know it. He didn't know he was dead. Didn't know he was dead. Crazy.

What the hell is going on? So when he called him, what did he say again? He said, what are you talking about? And I said, look at Twitter. It says you're dead. It doesn't just say you're dead It's a picture of you And it's like an obituary

Like who would hack someone And post that I don't know man That's weird It's very weird All kinds of replies to it I'm sick A sense of humor

On that positive note, yesterday Antonio Reeves first team all SEC. as he should have been. Rob Dillingham and Reed Shepard's second team. Yes. Reed Shepard, freshman of the year. Right. Rob Dillingham's sixth man of the year. Yeah.

And then Shepard, Dillingham, and Wagner, all first team, all rookie freshmen. I don't have any complaints about any of that. Do you? There's a logic component to it. I don't understand. I don't understand how Dillingham is the sixth man of the year and Shepard is the freshman of the year if they both came off the bench. I wondered that too

Unless they were just like Let's give one of them each of They just split it I guess Yeah I think you could make a strong argument That Shepard should Since they took eight Like I was thinking if it was going to be five guys on first team Then Shepard wouldn't make it

But they took eight And I feel like if they're going to take eight I feel like Shepard probably should have been in the eight If it was five maybe not But you know whatever It's still they still loaded up And then I'm glad for a Antonio Reups, he was first team.

Yeah, I thought Shepard played his way on the first. If you go to their website at, like, the leaders and stats, his name is on, like, every chart. He's leading in threes. He's leading in steals. He's, like, third and assists. I mean, his name's across the board, so I thought it'd be hard to leave him off that first team, but still excited for all of them, even that he got second and the other award. Do you think these teams should be by position?

It is weird, and they don't, like you just said, like, there's not even a real explanation. So if you were just like, let me just see this team, and it's just eight names, it's like, Why is there eight? I mean, to me, Sears, like, Connect, Reeves and Sears have to make it. And then after that, you could probably make arguments for various people. But those were the three best players, I think, pretty clearly. Yeah, throughout the season, those are your top players. But, you know, like Wade Taylor had good spurts.

Broom in Auburn had good spurts. And so they get some votes. So, yeah, what do they do? They just, anybody over seven votes gets in first team? This is the coach's one, too. so you don't know exactly. I mean, that might have been like a four-way tie for fifth. I mean, I'm not.

But again, they don't explain it. So how would you know? I just seeing specifically Ziegler, I thought had a good year. And Wade Taylor, I would have had Shepard above both of them. The rest I didn't have a problem with. I can't just skip over what just happened. I mean, I want to, but like this, you know him better than anybody else. Yeah.

But I don't think that he would have done something like that. Well, I don't either. But, I mean, why would somebody hack? But who would hack and hack? If you'd say... Somebody's dead. And write an obituary that is, like, about him. That would be believable and have a picture of him.

I don't know, man. And if he's hacked, how can Michael get back into his account to say he's a lot? I don't know. Dude, it's a strange. It's... I know he's a... But you don't joke about that. Like, that's not cool, right?

There's always a line. Even if you're a prankster or a joker, you cut it off way before that. So that's... If he's doing it for attention, that's not cool. I'm not saying he is, but if he is, that's not cool. I think it's one of these boys that woke up and saw that this morning. Be awful. Or anyone, Shannon.

There's so many replies to it. People say things to him. Larry Vaught was his good friends with. with him. Larry Vaught replied to it. Yeah. Like, none of us knew anything about it. I would have thought that I would have maybe gotten a text or something, but I don't know. This has to be, for people listening, this has to be the craziest little 30 minutes of live radio, right?

Yeah. I mean, it's happening in real time. Ultimately, this is why radio is the best medium because, like, you just react to life in real time. And when we all immediately got very sad. I was very sad. You know, I mean, Michael, it's not a secret that when the thing didn't work with his show, he blamed me, which was unfortunate because I didn't have anything to do with it, but he did. And so, I mean, you don't have to be, you know, you don't have to have been,

have woken up yesterday to see the shots he would take at me sometimes. But I never responded because I always liked him and have always, you know, I just try not to get into that. But I still was very sad to him. hear that. I was thinking about Shannon because like he said, I was definitely thinking about recently. I saw that picture on Instagram or whatever they met up. You don't realize Shannon and Michael. We've remained friends. We're good friends. And so I immediately, I felt bad for you. I was even going to say to you if you want to take the rest of the show off. Then I realized I don't

know who would run the show. We'd have to get Rick out of his wine stupor to come in in order to do it. That's the biggest swing of emotions I've ever had in my life. Yeah. I don't know, man. He needs to hang out with. with Jerry, who Ryan killed off on the show a couple years ago. Here, we thought Kate Middleton's picture was the weirdest thing that it happened. You know? You just sit that, which I'm not going to do because that's bad for you. You get like a Big Mac for a dollar. You get like a McDonald's car for 35 cents. Like it's just a ton of stuff. And then today I was on the other side. Shamed. Pulled up the drive-through. Couldn't get my little code.

Couldn't get it to work. I'm making people wait. And I was like, there you go. See, that's how they get you. Because the first time I used it was easy. Then today I couldn't find out what button to hit to get my code. It was the same thing every time. It was different, though.

The button I had before, it was like, get your code. And then that screen was off. And I'm sitting there hitting, and the woman's like, do you have your code? Do you have your code? And I was like, fine, it's forget it. I was good without the code before. So I just said, you know what?

You're still, you know, learning. You're a McDonald's app rookie. You'll get there, and now you'll be. I like the idea of the app. But I don't need more things trying to find on my phone every. I'm already on my phone too much, you know? Well, when we first talked about it, that was my original problem, is that we're not very coordinated at the drive.

through with the app and you throw off it's supposed to be fast food we end up taking forever trying to find that number yeah and then i get there i finally get the code shannon and i go can you the code now and he was like too late and i go okay well too late you're free soft drink so i ended up just it was a normal day but i'm still not giving up on the app don't after hating it to start with a lot of points a lot of free stuff coming your way but then people tell me all these restaurants have oh yeah well i don't need another 50 apps on my phone and you especially you should you would have every app. The Waffle House, you'd subway, you'd have all of them.

But I used that McDonald's app and Chick-fil-A app every time I go. You just said it yesterday. It got me. I'm going to Chick-fil-A. Abby's in the passenger seat, and there's a billion cars, and I'm like, oh, she goes, oh, we mobile ordered, get in the right lane. I just drove around everyone. I barely tapped my break, and they hand me the food.

So you can get the food at Chick-fil-A in the mobile? There's a mobile lane? There's a lane where I just drove around everyone. That's different than the two lanes. There's the third lane. And then someone was just ready for me. Mr. Franklin, here you go. I don't even think I stopped.

I think I just drove all the way through it. You got the mobile pickup app on McDonald's. You can order it at your house and it'll be ready by time you get there. Well, I'm not in that much of a hurry that, like, I need it to be pre-made. I do. I don't like staying in that drive-through line. We are getting spoiled in this country. Who's next?

And the thing about the, yeah, but that wasn't, but that wasn't what the strength of the 2015 team was. The strength of 2015 team was their defense. Okay, don't scream, Richard. Yep. All right. So I love this team. This team can win a national championship. 2015 team went 38 and 1. They only had one team in the country that could beat them, and they still barely beat them. This idea, I mean, we lost at home to Gonzaga us five weeks ago. No, we couldn't beat the 2015 team.

Certainly not regularly. Maybe we could beat them in one game. So let's all just take a deep breath. Let's be excited about what this team is, but let's not all of a sudden say we can beat the Monstar's best of seven. I remember that Kansas game, that UCLA game in 2015. There weren't many college teams ever that were competing with them. This team might, first of all, I think this team is the best shooting team we've ever had.

The only one that's close is 96, but I think this one's better. The 2015 team, though, might be the best defensive team we've ever had. Yeah. They had a first team All-American Center and the number one overall draft pick playing next to him. So, yeah, I will say Reed Shepard Antonio Reeves, DJ Wagner, and Rob Dillingham were better than the Harrison twins, Ulyss and Booker. But that team had a whole lot. I mean, can you imagine what Carl Towns and Willie would do to our bigs? I mean, Willie was almost the player of the year.

Yeah. Willie Collie Stein almost was the player of the year. I do agree with you saying this may be the best group of shooting guards. I think it's our best overall shooting. team because our centers can make threes except Ogo. We've never had four, and sometimes you can go five out when Big Z's in. There was a

game where we almost had five dudes make two threes. Yeah. Like we almost had five dudes. And again, Bradshaw can make them if he has to. A dude can make them. Trey Mitchell was killing it earlier this year. Z can make them. Right? Like everyone can make

them except Ogo. So, I mean, and then we have three of the six best three-point shoot. in the history of the school on the roster at the same time. At the same time. I mean, that's unbelievable. When you consider the amount of threes, Antonio Reeve shoots, and then his percentage,

and you consider that Reed is going to finish the season over 50% for three. That is stupid. If he hits the minimum attempts, and right now he's over it, but he'll have to maintain to get it. If he hits the minimum attempts, he's going to be the highest percentage three-point shooter that we've ever had.

had. Yep. So he's over the minimum attempts now. As of right now, because he shot 10 in the last game. But he's like right on the edge. So he'll have to keep. There have been several games lately where I think we all want him to shoot more. I think he still passes up some shots once in a while.

I still think he and Reeves shoot too little. They both had 27, and I think they both are too unselfish. That's why I loved. I mean, you were not supposed to pull up for three on a breakaway with no one to rebound, but I loved it because he was feeling it. I don't even think that one touched rim. I mean, that is just a special green light. I think Cal said that after the Tennessee game.

I still think both of them should shoot more. Yeah. You know? And he said, he said on his radio show last night, what I said in the morning, which was when Reeves shoots Antonio, I just assume it's going in. Both those guys. And when Dillingham gets hot every time he shoots whatever shot he's shooting, I think it's going in. When he makes his first, then I assume the next five. Yeah.

Never seen anything like that. Yeah.
