This linebacker, this linebacker walks up to me. He goes, A, ref, my mom wants you to wave at her. What? Time out. Quarterback on office blue 42. A rep, my mama wants you to wave at her.
Starting point is 00:01:30 What? Where's she at? Hey, Miss Parker. Listen to the Clifford Show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Welcome to Hour 2 of Kentucky Sports Radio, presented by Stockton Mortgage. Now, here's Matt Jones. All right, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Ryan Lim and Drew Franklin, Shannon the dude here at Irish Hills Golf Course in Mount Sterling. They've got their 62nd annual Gate City Invitational coming up this weekend. on Thursday is their shootout, but on Friday they've got a scramble that you can still get in. Deadline is tomorrow. If you want to get in, you can still make the scramble. And then, of course, Saturday, Sunday is the big tournament. Drew, you've played here. So what kind of course is it here?
Starting point is 00:03:12 I just like the – I tell about the course of a minute, but I like the small towns that have these tournaments that have been here forever. It's been in since like 1962. Madisonville's got one that's last in forever. I'm sure there's some all over the state where it's a big deal to the city. I think they – were there spots still in the big tournament, too, not just the scramble? Okay, so you can come and still get in the scramble and the tournament Saturday, Sunday. Shannon, they didn't invite you and me to play. That's probably a good thing.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Yeah. We'd be better off just being like the beer cart guys. Go to the ghost restaurant across the parkway then. That's right, yeah. This is from the A Vision Glass text machine. Ask Mike Barnhart, who called in, to call back and do some impressions. He does a great K. Wood Ledford and a Tubby Smith, and almost anybody you ask him to do, it's amazing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Well, now I want him to call back and hear it. I feel like you do a good tubby. That's my tubby. You make them sound like dumb and dumber. What? I used to laugh. It's not a flattering impersonation. Gerald.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Gerald. Eric. Does tubby like this bit? It's dead on. I know it's dead on tubby. Have you ever done that for tubby? No, I don't think I have. Here's another one on the A-Visaglass Tech Machine.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Famous UK athlete from Mount Sterling. Charles Chilly Ishmael? Is that right? played football and basketball at UK in the early 60s, long-time coach in Montgomery County, Coach Ishmael. So there we want to mention that. 859-28027. Got some phone lines open on this Ask Anything Tuesday here at Mount Sterling.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Moco. You know, is Lee Wise from here? I know her kids played here. She lives here now. She played college basketball at UK in like the 70s, and she was like Farrah Fawcett. Really? Oh, I'm not kidding you.
Starting point is 00:04:56 She had this long, wavy, blonde hair when she was playing and kept it. Played with it down, like not up. She played with that hair down. Well, I thought Robbie had the best hair in Moco. Which hair is the best now? I think Lee Wise is going to try to put a stop to his domination as the mullet champion. I don't know, man. I'm looking at that mullet.
Starting point is 00:05:18 From here, it's got like a shine or like an aura around the mullet, you know. I want to go back to Reed Shepard. He was named to the all summer league team, the five-man team. That was a no-brainer. He was the superstar of the summer league, wasn't he? I assume that was a unanimous pick. It had to have been. How could you not vote him on the all-summer-league five-member first team?
Starting point is 00:05:42 That and Rob, his first game in Summer League didn't go well. That's when we bet on him to score a lot. So that was our fault. We'll take that one, KSR. Kirsten. But he finished very strong on Saturday with a huge game for Minnesota to get them excited moving forward. A lot of the other UK guys, they popped in here and there, but obviously those two were the big stars. Antonio Reeves signed a contract. That was my next point, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:02 I'm sorry, I don't want to cross off your list, but more big news from that draft class that we just sent off. So it was the three-year deal, I believe, with the Pelicans that he signed? I don't have it front of me. I think it was three-year deal, four or five millioners, yeah. So good for him, you know, all those teams that passed on him, I think may end up regretting that down the road, Shannon. I mean, Reeves is going to be, are you talking about Reeves? Yeah. Yeah, I think he is going to be a standout player for somebody.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I don't know how long his career is going to go. You and I were talking about this, I think a couple of weeks ago on the pre-show, like out of those three guys, Dillingham, Shepard, Reeves, which are those three do you think is going to have the longest NBA career? I think you and I both pick Dillingham. But Reeves is going to be a good player for somebody. He can do the one thing everybody wants. They want a shooter, and he's proven.
Starting point is 00:06:48 He's a knock-down shooter. He can knock down the three-point shot, But I don't think we give him enough credit for he can do it really at every level. He's got that floater. I mean, he really, when he came back for the second year at UK, maybe he had it the year before. But he added a lot to his offense, and that's why he's got that three-year deal. And I think the Pelicans are going to be very happy. They have him.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Yeah. Now, also on the UK basketball front, Jasper Johnson, who was on this show about a month ago, visited Kentucky, visited Alabama, visited North Carolina, kind of made a surprising announcement over the weekend, Drew, where he announced he was going to, because he had played with Woodford County on their summer league team. A lot of people, including myself, thought, well, he's going to play for Woodford County his senior year, announces that he was going to go play for overtime elite next year. That's where Rob Dillingham played. That's where Alex Saar played, who was just the number one pick.
Starting point is 00:07:38 What were your thoughts when you saw that Jasper Johnson was going to play at overtime elite? I mean, if that's what he wants to do, good for him. I wish him luck, but that probably isn't good for Kentucky in recruiting. I think it would have been a little easier to have them in the backyard, playing. in Woodford County, surrounded by all the Kentucky fans that might be recruiting him every single day around there. So keeping him out of the bluegrass, I think it's going to be even harder to reel him in. I know North Carolina and Alabama are kind of presumed leaders ahead of Kentucky right now as he's narrowing it down. Kentucky's still in it.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Just got to make up a little ground is what it sounds like coming out of the peach jam. But I think if you were wanting to see him in blue, that wasn't the best news. But, you know, we'll be rooting for Jasper wherever he ends up. That's the thing. If he was playing for Woodford County next year, he's right here in the backyard, Mark Pope, probably go to a lot of games. I mean, you're at school and your classmates are telling you what to do. You've got UK logos everywhere.
Starting point is 00:08:26 But yeah, at the same time, I don't fault Jasper for wanting to play for this program that is now developed into producing all these players. Carter Knox is going to overtime relief. Or he did go to overtime elite. There's been several, yeah. It's a pipeline to the NBA. It is a pipeline to, like, major college basketball and to the NBA. So I can't fault him for that.
Starting point is 00:08:44 But I'm with you. I think maybe it hurts Kentucky chance. It's got to be a little bit, I think. Yeah, and not just the recruiting. I'm sure they wanted to have him back just to have a special season there. I mean, he would have been the best player in the state playing for them. So I assume around that area they're a little disappointed, but I guess they're rooting for him, too. You know, it's a UK legacy.
Starting point is 00:09:02 We all know the connections. We'll be rooting for him wherever he ends up. We just hope it's Kentucky, and Mark Pope is still in that fight, but he got some competition. One more UK basketball, no while we're talking. The TBT team, La Familia, plays for the championship tonight. 9 o'clock tonight. Round of 16. Round of, well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:19 The championship of the round of 16. Yes, the region championship tonight against the herd from Marshall. Heard that. Now, people are going to say, well, they're going to beat Marshall. We heard Myron say yesterday, this Marshall team, they've been together for many years. They practice together. They play all year long together. This is like a well-oiled machine.
Starting point is 00:09:37 And that's why they were the number one seed. The Marshall team was. So 9 o'clock tonight at Rupp Arena Laugh-Familia plays for the region championship. I'll be there. I've been bragging about the TBT every opportunity I can. It's going to be awesome tonight. If you are able to go and you don't have tickets and you're not going, I'll go ahead and say you're dumb because it is so much fun.
Starting point is 00:09:56 They're pretty affordable. I think there's even promo codes floating around now. We need to get in there and pack Rup Arena. I think it's too late to host. There's a ticket race. Louisville was up pretty big. Maybe we can have a last minute steal it from them. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:10:09 But we certainly need to pack the place. Sunday was fun. Could have been better. I hope tonight's packed. And it needs to be packed because Marshall brings fans. I watched their first two games in Lexington. They've been playing in Lexington, too, just before a lot of familiar. And there's been a lot of green in there, and they're loud,
Starting point is 00:10:23 and they've even been John a little bit looking ahead. It should be a lot of fun tonight at Rupp Arena. Lexington, you know, representing with the U.K. personnel, like Drew said, Marshall has a lot of crowd, has a big crowd. We'll have the game on at KS. Bar and grill tonight. Oh, we have Singo, by the way, at 7 o'clock. Oh. Singo tonight at 7 o'clock, and then the Laugh-Familiar game at 9 o'clock at KS.
Starting point is 00:10:43 It should be fun. I wish I was in Lexington tonight. You could do Singo, and then the game back-to-back. I want to ask you guys Billy and I talked about on the pre-show. Do you guys like Elam ending on these tournament games? I liked it until last night when Louisville
Starting point is 00:10:57 cheated to win when they should have lost a couple times to what was this? They said the other team just needed one bucket to get the Elam ending. They call a timeout. It's next basket wins for them. You hear the coach drawn up to play.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Even the announcers like, okay, I think we know what they're doing. They run it perfectly. Dude is so wide open. He has time to like spin it in his hand. He sets his feet, wiggles his shoulders. No one from Louisville goes out to guard him,
Starting point is 00:11:21 and he missed it, and then Louisville, I think they scored six straight. They should have lost. There's a little home cooking. I'm not going to complain about refs because that gets you in trouble with the law, but there's a little home cooking there,
Starting point is 00:11:32 but Louisville should have lost last night. We've been looking forward to Lafamila running into their team. They shouldn't even be in the tournament anymore. They got lucky. So if UK, LaFamia wins tonight, and Louisville wins tomorrow night, as of right now, that is a wool.
Starting point is 00:11:45 They will meet in, I guess, Freedom Hall, depending on ticket sales, because it's up to that who hosts. But it sounds like Louisville has been leading that. And that's just the one game, one and done. This is the next round of the tournament. Yeah, that'll be the elite eight, I guess. The elite eight, then the winners will go to the Final Four in Philadelphia.
Starting point is 00:11:59 In Philadelphia, gotcha. So going out to Ruppery and tonight help support the law familiar teams. They try to win the region championship against the Marshall Thundering Herd. Yeah, it's going to be a tough one. Like we've said, Marshall, this is like careers for them. The Kentucky guys, obviously, big names, great pro careers, but they landed in Lexington a couple weeks ago and figuring out, I think Marshall's been running two days for the last five years, so that's what you're up against.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Like I said, we'll be there at KS Bar tonight, watching the game on a watch party. Shen, you said you won't be there tonight, but you'll be there Friday night. I will be there Friday night. Alice Bluegown will be at KS. Bar and Grill. We play at 8 o'clock. Look at that, getting a little pop here. You're all invited to come out. It's going to be a free show and our first time playing there.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Yes. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm excited about your first time ever to play at KS. Barr and Grill. We're going to sit you up on the patio, kind of facing the restaurant with your back to the parking lot, So I'm really excited about it. Have we told our neighbors there's going to be a rock band right next door? Well, we're still working on that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Yeah, we'll still. What are we waiting on? I think until Friday night. Just let them find out? Yeah. What's the permission? Don't ask for permission? Ask for forgiveness is easier than asking for permission.
Starting point is 00:13:03 You know, I mean, can we ask forgiveness from the cops when they get called because of a noise coordinates? Well, we'll have to wait and see. Phone lines are open. 859-2-287. That's our Clark's Pubbing Shop. Phone number. It's Ask Anything Tuesday if you want to call on board, and we'll get you on board to ask
Starting point is 00:13:16 as a question. Got a lot to talk about. And apparently the mayor of Mount Sterling is about to present us with something, Drew, we come back. Some sort of presentation we come back. So we'll have that. We come back here on Kentucky Sports Radio. Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions
Starting point is 00:13:32 are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where Sports Slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise. Breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind the headlines. We go straight to the source, the athlete themselves. Their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear.
Starting point is 00:13:50 The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context, and ask the questions everybody wants answered. Sportslice brings you closer to the action with stories told by the people who live them. Listen to Sports Slice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slices Life 12 and the TikTok podcast. network on TikTok. What's up, guys?
Starting point is 00:14:18 This is Clever Taylor the 4th. And on my podcast, The Clivert Show, I'm bringing you conversations about all kinds of stuff. Like being an internet famous referee. We're in the middle of a game. This linebacker, this linebacker walks up to me. He goes, hey, ref, my mom wants you to wave at her. What?
Starting point is 00:14:36 Time out. Quarterback on office blue 42. Hey, rec, my mama want you to wave at her. What? Hey, Ms. Park. Listen to the Clippers show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. American soccer is about to explode.
Starting point is 00:15:01 The World Cup is coming. Ramos sending on to Ernie Stewart for Chip. I'm Tad Ramos. I'm Tom Boke. On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines. I'm not worried about Polic. I'm not worried about Balligan.
Starting point is 00:15:21 I'm not worried about McKinney. My only concern is what happens in the back. The biggest decision. If you're going to look at stats and numbers, he has no shot at making this World Cup team. And the truth about the U.S. national team. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals. The World Cup is almost here. Experience it all with us. Listen to Inside American Soccer with Tom Bogart and Tab Ramos on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:15:56 All right, welcome back, Kentucky Sports Radio. Ryan Drew and Shannon here live. at Irish Hills golf course in Mount Sterling. Shannon, who's this segment sponsored by? We are joined now by the mayor of Mount Sterling, Al-Botz, who apparently has some sort of presentation to make Mayor Bots. What do you, what do you got up your sleeve here? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:16:47 Well, you know, we like to have fun over here. I hope you all have realized that. And let me put in a plug for this community. This is the finest city in the Commonwealth, the city of Mount Steerling. There we go. And it's not about the neat things. have over here. It's about all these awesome people. And you've got to meet a couple of them today. Reagan only. I mean, how cool is that? That's awesome. Softball is right here.
Starting point is 00:17:07 She even, she didn't mention it. She's also a good basketball player played for the basketball team. And she had a better swing as a freshman than I had as a senior. I can tell you that. So she, she's something. And then Robbie Hopkins. I mean, how awesome is that? Mr. Mullet. The first Mullet contest winner right here in Mount Sterling. He's been a great ambassador for us. And I'm kind of jealous because I've always wanted to, you know, get that mullet back. I've workshopped the mayor with the mullet and nobody's buying it. Just do it. Just let it go. Just let it go.
Starting point is 00:17:39 But anyway, we have a lot of fun over here, and we'd love to have you all back. And I know we had talked about it off air. But if you can make it back for the Court Day Festival and you are here for the mullet contest, I guarantee that I can make sure I can pull some strings and you all can be celebrity judges. Oh, man, that's a reason. We're back. We're back. That's Shannon's dream job, I think. There we go.
Starting point is 00:18:03 What do you got for us? So anyway, we've got something just to have fun. Now, our numbers were kind of off today, and I'm kind of embarrassed because we like having a gift for everybody when they come to town, and we had hoped to have some fun t-shirts. Yeah. But I do know being a longtime listener that Ryan Lemon loves T-shirts. Free T-shirt. More than any of it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Look what he's wearing right now. That's a free T-shirt. That's a free T-shirt. That's right. And, you know, when there's the rumor out there. that you don't always do laundry and you're just grabbing whatever somebody gives you. Rumor. Well, rumor, yeah, that's not confirmed.
Starting point is 00:18:34 But we want to make sure that you have today that you won't forget. You have a T-shirt now presented on behalf of this community that says Whirling Stirling. So wherever you go around the state, they'll know that you've been to Whirling Stirling. Nice. We hope that you'll proudly wear that. You have no idea how much you will wear that. I'll wear it tomorrow. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:18:56 Where does it go tomorrow? Now, we talked about court days a little bit. Over 200 years. It's in October, right? It's always in October. Right. I remember I came like about 20 years ago, and there's people walking around with shotguns. I'm thinking, what in the world is going on?
Starting point is 00:19:10 It's probably the safest place in Kentucky on that weekend. Yeah, because they have gun swaps, sell guns, and people are walking around with these guns, and they're properly doing it the right way. Absolutely. So it's fun. You come to court day, and you can see a little bit of everything. So it's fun to people watch. It's fun to just come to see what you can find.
Starting point is 00:19:29 We had about 550 vendors last year. A lot of good food, mullet contest, music. We've got it all. So we hope that everybody can come out and join us this October 18th through 21st and enjoy the October Quarterly Festival. Which of the festival foods are you going to first? I'm like a funnel cake guy. Anything fried.
Starting point is 00:19:47 I like when people fry things that I've never seen fried. Like here's a fried twinkie, fried Oreo. Do you dabble in the all of those? There's always someone doing something like that. But my personal favorite is the cattleman's hamburgers here. They just almost melt in your mouth. So you will not go away hungry, I guarantee you that. Well, Shannon is certainly going to be here.
Starting point is 00:20:05 He didn't need to know the date. He's clearing his schedule. Right now. Yes, I'm canceling a few gigs and I'll be here. Now, we talked about some famous people here from Mount Sterling, Mike Barnhart, Greg and Oney. I know that didn't the guy that played Peter Pan in the Peter Pan movie, isn't he from here?
Starting point is 00:20:23 There is. There's a couple of actors from. Mount Sterling that have called this their home. I think so. I think the guy in the big Peter Pan movie. Isn't he from here? I don't know what his name is. What is it?
Starting point is 00:20:35 Jeremy. Sumter, yes. Jeremy Sumter. But here's the big one. We solved the riddle last week. Brendan Canada said he is from Mount Sterling and Mount Winchester. We ask him point blank, solve the argument. He said, I am from Mount Sterling.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Well, I'm glad that he's claiming Mount Sterling as his home. Yes. We won't get into where he went to high school. We're true blue, red white and blue around here, Montgomery County Indians sports. But that's okay. He's called Mount Sterling home. We're very proud that when we see his name on that roster or have seen that for the University of Kentucky. That makes me as a mayor very proud when I see our young folks going out and that they're very proud of where they grew up.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Now, here's another one you have to solve the argument then. Is the original Aunt Jemima from here? That is correct. So her name was Nancy Green. She was born in Montgomery County, and she became the first living trademark, which was Aunt Jemima. How about that?
Starting point is 00:21:34 How about that? From right here. Right here in Mount Starling. She was more than that. We talk about the trademark, but she was an entrepreneur. She was a teacher. She helped build her church.
Starting point is 00:21:44 I mean, she was just a wonderful lady, and we've started having a festival in the spring. On the website right now. Absolutely. So, you know, We talk about these festivals. There is always something fun going on in Worland-Starland, so you need to check that tourism website and make sure you come back over and see us.
Starting point is 00:22:02 We'll appreciate it. Thank you very much for my T-shirt. I'll put it on during the break. Actually, give it up for the mayor. Mayor Bonds. Appreciate it very much. Thank you. I feel bad we're in the hometown of the Queen of Pancakes the day after Myron was
Starting point is 00:22:13 Miss Pancake. He should have stuck around one more day. Didn't save us one pancake. Absolutely. Another story that hit over the weekend that we didn't talk about yesterday. We've got to mention it. Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race over the weekend. So it's back-to-back weekends.
Starting point is 00:22:30 We've had these monster stories on the assassination of Donald Trump. And then a week later, Joe Biden drops out. I mean, the fact that Biden dropping out, though, may mean our boy, Andy, may drop in as a vice president candidate for Camilla Harris. I already saw Andy throw in some little barbs the other direction at J.D. Vance. The way I knew that happened was TBT was tipping off. I'm standing on the court getting video of just the starting lineup for that game starts, and they had turned the TBT coverage to just news. I'm sure every channel did that.
Starting point is 00:23:02 And the way I found out Biden had dropped off was my Twitter, was just people yelling at me to somehow find them a broadcast. So it was kind of a unique way of me learning the news there. So we have connections now to J.D. Vance. Yes. Of course, Joe Biden. Yes. You and I are close personal friends with Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:23:16 That's right. and met him at the convention. And now possibly another vice president candidate with Andy Bashir. And we have that picture from the PGA just a little bit ago where you have your head on his chest and you're doing the little tongue smile. Well, so yeah, Shannon and I have our picture with Joe Biden. All of us were together for the picture with Andy Beshear. We need to get...
Starting point is 00:23:36 You've been in a foot race with J.D. Vance. Well, you were at least challenged a one. He challenged me to a foot ranch, foot race. You know, that's one... We don't hear from Matt very often, but when that happened, he did send out a message. It's kind of odd where both vice presidential candidates could have both been an R&R radio show multiple times. The show has done some weird things. I still can't even believe we were in the White House.
Starting point is 00:23:54 That was forever ago. And now people that have been on these airwaves are running. So we mentioned other athletes. Omar Pruitt is the son of Lee Wise, and he is playing for the Louisville TBT team, right? Where did he play college basketball? William and Mary. Oh, you're the dad. Oh, there's dad.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Why are you asking her? There's dad. There's Dad Pruitt right there. So Omar Pruitt from here in Montgomery County plays for the Louisville TBT team that we may play in the elite eight. Yeah, and you said William and Mary. William and Mary. Oddly, Matt Jones and I have been to William and Mary before. You know, we go to, I think we've been to every college campus.
Starting point is 00:24:40 When you did your little tour? Yeah, we popped in a little William and Mary. Nice spot. What do you think about? got Nolan McCarthy, the UK center fielder, leaving, and now he's going to know he's picking Georgia. He's going to go to Georgia. I'm a little hurt. Georgia was kind of the word the moment he entered the portal because of the UK losing an assistant to Georgia.
Starting point is 00:25:01 That one stings. We said about the time. That slide is legendary. That was going to be on the tickets. That was going to be on the wall at the facility. And now he didn't just go to school. It's someone that's going to be on the schedule. Yes.
Starting point is 00:25:13 I mean, he's a legend. We will always remember what he does. did, but it's this slightly traitorish behavior that we're looking at right now, so I guess we're going to have to have a little while before we can honor him with the murals and everything, because he's like, he's in the conference.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Shannon, he was the first UK baseball player that came on this show. Yeah, I know. And we all kind of adopted him as one of our favorite players, and now he's had this major moment with the dive, the slide. The biggest moment in UK baseball history, that's sent him to Omaha. And then just like that, he's
Starting point is 00:25:41 gone. It's unfortunate. It's the world we live in with the transport portal. I hate to see it, but And it does hurt like you say, he's not just gone. He's going to Georgia. Yeah, I know, I know. That is traitorish behavior. You're right.
Starting point is 00:25:55 Legendary player, I wish they could have kept around, though. With losing so many, I mean, they had a great class go to the draft. Can't do anything about that. But he and Devin Burks, I mean, they were kind of going to be the faces of the team moving forward, and now he's going to be on the schedule wearing red. So Kentucky Branden gave me one of the shirts with the dive. Do I still, am I still able to wear it?
Starting point is 00:26:14 It's autographed by him? I mean, he's always going to be the slide. Georgia doesn't get to claim him, but there is going to be a little period where we're just going to need a little time apart. You can wear the shirt once he's done with his time in Georgia. By the way, did you get your notes on your phone? It looks like they're back in English again. Yeah, I don't know what happened. Seriously, you guys were there in Lebanon the other day.
Starting point is 00:26:34 I have no idea why all my notes went to German. I have no clue, but yeah, everything's fine now and in the right language. Speaking of notes, we have any bills to pay, why we're looking at the phones? Do we need a little this segment sponsored by Draft Kings? Yeah, you sure. How about that? You know, UFC 304 is coming up in Manchester, England? You've ever been there, Ryan?
Starting point is 00:26:52 I've not been. I've been. It rained a whole lot. There are two titles on the line. The welterweight and the interim heavyweight title are on the main card, but it is a stacked card of fights, and you can jump in on all of the action at Draft King Sports Book, the official sports betting partner of the UFC. Starting point is 00:27:26 Last night, a blown call changed a game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you exactly what happened. That's where sports slice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise. Breaking down the plays, the controversies, and the stories behind
Starting point is 00:27:43 the headlines. We go straight to the sort. the athlete themselves, their locker room stories, their reactions, the stuff nobody gets to hear. The laughs, the drama, the triumphs, the moments that never make the highlight real. From viral moments to historic games, from buzzer beaters to controversial calls, we break it down, give you context, and ask the questions everybody wants answered. Sports Slice brings you closer to the action with stories told by the people who live them. Listen to Sports Slice on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. And for more, follow Timbo Slicel.
Starting point is 00:28:15 in the TikTok podcast network on TikTok. What's up, guys? This is Clever Taylor the 4th. And on my podcast, The Clivert Show, I'm bringing you conversations about all kinds of stuff. Like being an internet famous referee. We're in the middle of a game. This linebacker, this linebacker walks up to me.
Starting point is 00:28:31 He goes, hey, ref, my mom wants you to wave at her. What? Time out. Quarterback on office blue with 42. Hey, Brett, my mama want you to wave at her. What? Hey, Miss Parker. Listen to the Cliverts show on the IHeart Radio app,
Starting point is 00:28:53 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What's up, fam? It's Isaiah Thomas. And I'm C.J. Toledano, and our podcast, Point Game is about defying the odds. Like LeBron heading into the playoffs without Luca and Austin Reed. And finding ways to win no matter what. He's the smartest player to ever play the game. His IQ is at a level that we've never seen before. And he knows without Luca and Austin Reeves,
Starting point is 00:29:16 got to manipulate the game. We get a player's perspective on the challenges of the playoffs. I think Joker's going to be exhausted this series because when they don't have Rudy in the lineup, he has to really guard guys like Nas Reid. He has to guard Julius Randall. And then he has to give us everything he gives us on the night-to-night basis on offense. And when IT's friends stop by, like Quentin Richardson, we dive into some playoff history too. Steve Nash would get that thing.
Starting point is 00:29:42 That man, hell get the flying. He running up the court, licking his fingers, why he got the ball like. Like, you go through a training camp with that, I said, you figure it out real quick. Get your ass up and down the court, and you're going to get the ball. So listen to Point Game on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. T.J. Smith, personal injury attorney. Call T.J., he'll make them pay. Welcome back to Kentucky Sports Radio, presented by Stockton Mortgage. Here's Matt Jones. All right, welcome back Kentucky Sports Radio. Ryan Lemon, Drew Franklin, and Shannon the dude here at Irish Hills.
Starting point is 00:30:16 golf course in Montgomery County, Mount Sterling. We met the judge. We've met the mayor. We've got the Miss Softball. We've got all kinds of celebrities walking in here. Hayfellers, Casey brought her son Tyler here. So everybody's here today. I was just checking out all the different attractions around here.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Did you know they have a drive-in theater? Oh, yeah. You know I'm a big fan of drive-ins. There aren't many left in this country. There aren't many, but this has been around since 1952. I know they had, is the jerrys still open here? They had one of the last jerrys. Did they close it?
Starting point is 00:30:46 They close the jerrys. RIP juries. RIP juries. I have our, do we have any text or tweets of the day? This is our KS. Board post of the day. Let's do it. Let's do it. Do we have any more things to check off?
Starting point is 00:30:57 I think the Kentucky branded tweet of the day is right now. Go for it. This is a tweet of day by Richmond Bramlett, who is in Mount Sterling. He is a Mount Sterling native, yeah. He heard the mayor mentioned the Cattleman's Ribby sandwich, and he wrote, Cattleman's ribby sandwich is something I've driven ours to get. So I think I need to try one. If we've got the mayor endorsing it,
Starting point is 00:31:16 Casey said something about it too, and now Richmond's driving hours to get it. I'm very curious about that. Well, they did offer some lunch. Maybe that's what we should have ordered. Order that sandwich down there. Now, I gave you guys a little homework assignment. I don't know if you did it. I was writing an obituary, but I'll be ready.
Starting point is 00:31:33 It came up last week, a couple players that we kind of forget actually played for UK. Basketball. What are your most forgettable UK basketball players? Nothing bad, but just kind of. I already have my answer. I had a couple that came to my mind immediately. Who do you come up with? I'll have to think on others because I just now saw your text with that homework.
Starting point is 00:31:54 My apologies. I've always thought Isaiah Jackson, we're going to completely forget about that guy. Yeah, it was COVID year. COVID year. I think, if I remember correctly, I've kind of pushed that season out. I think I was yelling for him to start a lot. Was he not starting much? I remember I wanted him to play more.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Play more, for sure. Then he goes to the Pacers, not really. I mean, it's close, but you know, you're not. turn on T&T and seeing a lot of the Pacers. I guess you're getting a little bit of them now, but it's just a guy that to be a lottery pick, I think he was. It's almost like we kind of forget he exists. I know UK fans who've gone to a Pacer's game and then saw him like, oh yeah,
Starting point is 00:32:28 that guy played in Kentucky. So he will be my answer forever. And I like Isaiah Jackson. It was just that was such a weird year. It was COVID. He had one season. It didn't go well at all. So he's going to be the first one that comes to mind from me.
Starting point is 00:32:40 You got one? What you say most forgetable? Like player that we want to forget? No. If you want to play that game. Well, it's like Isaiah Jackson. And that's a good example. You just kind of forget he was here for a year.
Starting point is 00:32:49 But if I say that I forgot him and then I say them, then obviously I remembered them. But I would say. Well, who do you think most people have forgotten? Well, I think of a guy that was like really hyped up coming in and didn't really perform like we thought that he would here and that it would be Scowell Libisier. That's a good one. That's a good one. But of course, the fact that I'm thinking of them, again, kind of defeats the purpose of the game. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Do you have one? I got a couple. Okay, who's yours? Well, the one that immediately came to mind was E.J. Montgomery. I mean, the guy is still playing professional basketball. He had a good year here. One of the one was a couple was the Florida game. The Florida game was that team's championship, really.
Starting point is 00:33:30 But yet you forget, I kind of forget that he was here. I always think about if E.J, because he needed to come back, if NIL were around, and he's a guy that would just return and get better, like my boy, Nick Richards. I guess we had two years with E.J., but still, it, He needed a little more time to really show his potential. I think an NIL era might help keep him and several others around who left too early. How about Cameron Fletcher? I had actually completely forgotten about him.
Starting point is 00:33:58 I'll add one who was my Twitter picture for two months until he left. Colillo Whitney. I thought the dragon was going to be the next person we're putting in the rafters. He went to Big Blue Madness. He was so much fun. Like I said, I made him my profile picture, and then he was gone. For Christmas, if I'm not mistaken. I was trying to think of guys back in the tubby era.
Starting point is 00:34:18 You guys may not know this name, Nate Knight. I remember Nate Knight. I thought he was a rapper. Well, maybe that's what he went into now. But he came in for like half a season, I think, and then transferred. I think you came like BYU. I'm not sure where he transferred in from. And then he transferred back out, like, after a half a year.
Starting point is 00:34:35 He's one, I think, that from the tubby area, we could put in this conversation. When you look at the rosters, like, of the 90s teams, there's a lot of guys on there. I mean, most of them on there, actually, you remember. Yeah. I mean, if I look at the roster from 95, 96, there's not one guy on there that I would say that I forgot existed. Well, that's to your point. What did you accomplish? I mean, I'm going to remember the last guy on the bench for a team that wins the championship. But if you have a five-star coming here and they transfer, like a lot of the guys we've named
Starting point is 00:35:03 or they didn't really pan out, unfortunately, they're the ones you're going to think of in this conversation. Okay. Who are the walk-ons when it was Sam Malone and Brian? Long. Brian Long. Remember we had the guy call in and said Brian Long didn't have a person. appreciate it and he was all mad so that kind of became a little thing jason lathrim that's a good one that's from the 96 championship team that's the one guy i don't remember yeah i want to shout out sam malone real quick we keep talking about this t bttt thing but 20 beckham sam malone we talked to john hood
Starting point is 00:35:30 and sam daryis miller we keep focus on the guys actually playing there's a lot of hard work in the coaching and the other stuff too and sam's been a big part of that in 20 i don't think we bragged enough about putting it all together well that's you know sean woods and sam and these guys They immediately give 20 all the credit for putting his team together, how he's handled it and run it like a professional business. He's really done a good job. They give him all the credit. Yeah, even like a poitrous coming just for one day to watch a game. Ennis is hopefully popping in at some point.
Starting point is 00:36:02 Guys that aren't even involved are showing up, and I think part of it is that it is 20 and some of these guys, I guess I'll call him the staff of TBT being so popular with all the guys. Is Alex deserved to be in this conversation? The guys, you just kind of... Oh, no. Forgettable? No, no, absolutely not. I love Alex. When I walked in and I saw him in Rupp Arena on Sunday,
Starting point is 00:36:24 it's like, why are you sitting here? Put on a jersey right now. What are the rules here? Can you go in there and dunk on someone? What about Antoine Barber? I don't remember him. I don't think he's one of the guys that you would... Did you put him on that list?
Starting point is 00:36:40 For me, it's all what your expectations were. I mean, I remember Antoine Bartwood. Kalyn Sims, if you want to go Jukko. Rekaelin Sims is a good one. Again, we're defeating the exercise by remembering them, I guess. So it's really just the ones that don't pan out, unfortunately. 859-2-287. That's our phone number if you want to call and get on board.
Starting point is 00:36:56 We've got a call or Matt, who we got? Nancy, go ahead, Nancy. Hey, how are you all today? Good, how are you doing? Good. Okay, so maybe somebody's asked this before, but I've always been curious. None of you all went to UK. Was that ever a thought?
Starting point is 00:37:12 that you might go there? Well, excuse me, I'm a graduate of the Gatton College of Business and Administration at the University of Kentucky. Very proud U.K. alum. After Drew's five years at Madisonville Community College. I thought you went to underwent someplace else. No, I mean, I dabbled in a couple of laps around English 101 somewhere else. But once I got focused, I got to Lexington. It was a perfect student somewhat, some ways.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Okay, so that's Drew's answers. Okay. Shannon, Ryan. I wanted to go somewhere where I could play baseball. Me too. And I wasn't D1 talent, I guess. So I had to go to next best thing, which was Lindsey Wilson and Bellarmine. Yeah, I don't know why Keith Madison didn't recruit either one of us back in the day.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Come on, Keith. Come on, coach. I had the best 70-mile on our fastball in high school. That's the same answer. Reagan would have hit that to the parking lot. She would have, yeah. Appreciate phone call. Now, what about Matt?
Starting point is 00:38:03 Does he, do you all have any idea why he didn't go there? He has Duke Law School. I know we think of Duke for athletics, but if you have an opportunity to go to Duke Law School, I think he was thinking more academics there. Yeah, he went to Trancy through like a presidential scholar program or something like that where he was. Matt had a lot more opportunities academically than the three of us.
Starting point is 00:38:26 So I think that's why he made the decisions he did. He visited, I remember he almost went to Northwestern, right? Virginia is the one of you really considered. Yeah, yeah, a lot of academic schools, yeah. Matt was going for the books. I was kind of checking out the bar scene. And Shannon and I were baseball. Ron and I were trying to get to the league.
Starting point is 00:38:45 And Kentucky Wesleyan and Bellarmine didn't get it done for us. That's right. Well, I mean, Bellarmine had some guys that... They did. The other guy that's pitching right now for the Diamondbacks? Fott. Yeah. Brandon Fon. That's right.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Yep. Todd Willemeyer back in the day, too. Well, now I know. There you go. There you go. Well, thank you very much. We appreciate the phone call. Proud U.K. graduate right here.
Starting point is 00:39:03 You're the only one. 859-2-802-287. That's our phone number. You want to call and get on board. We'll make that our... Our Don Franklin call of the day. We haven't issued that yet today, so we'll make that to Don Franklin call today. I think we actually did earlier.
Starting point is 00:39:14 It was the second call of the day. Okay, we did it. We're going to do it twice. They keep handing us all kind of notes here. Luke Fuller, he's from here. He went to Western Kentucky University. He was just the Conference USA Individual Golfer Champion. This is his home course?
Starting point is 00:39:30 Oh, he just left. Oh, he was just in here. Well, Brandon Fuller. Another one of our Montgomery County star athletes we need to talk about. Now, it's not Montgomery County, but it's next door. It's Clark County, L81, Winchester. They're coming out with a new flavor. Oh, I'm aware.
Starting point is 00:39:49 I had to call the guy, Jason Epperson, who made the video for this new flavor because I thought maybe we weren't supposed to announce the flavor. What we're talking about it? I went to the launch party two weeks ago. You should have called me. But why was there a thread on KS Board yesterday saying about this new secret flavor? It is new. The thread's about a month old.
Starting point is 00:40:11 Oh, somebody just maybe replied to it. Yeah, yeah, no, I went to the lunch party. There was food there. I guess it was a lunch party. But at the Los Palm at the Manchester Hotel, I went for the celebration of the new straw melon L8. Strawberry melon. They sent me home with three, four packs.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Got a little pup. It was a party. And I haven't tried. There's like a peach and a blackberry. I never got to try those, but the straw melon's delicious. My two favorite flavors I can get are strawberry and watermelon. And so when they put those together, I didn't walk. I ran to try it out.
Starting point is 00:40:42 There you go. We had the Blackberry, I think, a couple of weeks ago. We did. Yeah, I haven't tried that one. That's another one of their summer. Well, Jason Epperson made the promo video, and it's awesome. It's very funny. It's awesome.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Epic film's the same one that did our Super Bowl commercial. Super Bowl commercial with the big donut that I was sitting on. So if you haven't seen the commercial, look that up, but I had to call with him to make sure, can we talk about this? Is this, like, still top secret? Yeah. Because I think the video, I don't know how far the video's been out. Is it video everywhere right now?
Starting point is 00:41:08 I'm not sure when the video came out. I just saw that too, but I certainly enjoyed the celebration of it coming out. And like I said, I have some four packs in at home. All right, we'll take our final break. Come back, our final segment. We are live from Irish Hills Golf Course in Montgomery County, Mount Sterling. They've got their 62nd annual Gate City Golf Votational coming up this weekend. So come on out.
Starting point is 00:41:27 We'll be right back. This is Kentucky Sports Radio. Last night, a blown call changed the game. This morning, the Internet lost its mind. Starting point is 00:42:23 And on my podcast, The Cliverts Show, I'm bringing you conversations about all kinds of stuff. Like being an internet famous referee. We're in the middle of a game. This linebacker, this linebacker walks up to me. He goes, hey, ref, my mom wants you to wave at her. What? Come out. Quarterback on office blue with 42.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Hey, Rhett, my mama wants you to weigh better. What? Where's she at? Hey, Miss Parker. Listen to the Cliverts show on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. American soccer is about to explode. The World Cup is coming. Ramos sending on the only store at the chip.
Starting point is 00:43:13 I'm Tav Ramos. I'm Tom Bo. On our podcast, Inside American Soccer, you'll get the real storylines. I'm not worried about Policic. I'm not worried about Balagan. I'm not worried about McKinney. My only concern is what happens in the back. The biggest decisions.
Starting point is 00:43:31 If you're going to look at stats and numbers, he has no shot at making this World Cup team. And the truth about the U.S. national team. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if our team ends up in the quarterfinals or potentially a great run into the semifinals. The World Cup is almost here. Experience it all with us. Listen, Inside American Soccer with Tom Bogart and Tab Ramos on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, wherever you get your podcast. All right, welcome back.
Starting point is 00:44:02 Our final segment here at Kentucky Sports Radio, live from Irish Hills Golf Course in Mount Sterling. Shannon, who's our sponsor to this segment? This segment is sponsored by our friends at the Moonshine Trail. You can't have bourbon without moonshine, Ryan, and you can check out the moonshine trail. Follow me on Twitter at Shannon the dude for the Get Your Shine on giveaway, which I just posted.
Starting point is 00:44:20 a new location. Somebody can get on there right now, go on Twitter. And if you know the location that I tweet it, you can win an Amazon gift card. How about that? Right now, moonshont trail from Lexington to Pikeville is more than just spirits. It's about the people who pour their hearts.
Starting point is 00:44:32 Into the making of moonshine, you can meet expert distillers, sharing their stories of tradition, rebellion, and innovation for an authentic Kentucky experience. The Moonshine Trail has a passport book where you can earn stamps for each location along the way, and you can pick one of those up at any location. Just go to moonshinetrail.com for more information.
Starting point is 00:44:50 And aren't you and I shooting a TV commercial next week for the moonshine trail? I believe we are. I think we are. Were you supposed to say that? He did. I did. He put the toothpaste back in the tube. I've got a TV commercial for the moonshine trail coming up soon.
Starting point is 00:45:05 I think it's next week. It is. I don't know what day it is, but I think it's next week. Well, they're going to shoot it, and then I'm sure there's got to be like some production and stuff. So I don't know that it's going to be out immediately, but probably the next few weeks after that. The news is out immediately. 8-5-9. 2802, 287.
Starting point is 00:45:21 We've got to call her on board. Who we got, Matt? Tommy. Tommy, go ahead, Tommy. Yeah, I used to referee high school basketball in a showcase tournament. A referee,
Starting point is 00:45:32 Carmela Anthony, Derek Rose, Geron Lamb, and the best high school player I ever saw that played at Kentucky and most people probably don't even remember
Starting point is 00:45:40 him was a guy by the name of Rashad Carus Oh, yeah, yeah. Shoot it like nobody's business. I think he played for Oak Hill Academy. He did. Yep, he sure did. Yeah, I think he played one year at Kentucky and then transferred to Southern Miss, I think.
Starting point is 00:45:56 But, yeah, he was a guy that I really thought would be somebody and just didn't work out. A lot of people did, yeah. Yeah, that's a good call there. Thank you. Thanks for the phone call. Yeah, he's a government. Here's a couple others that people have nominated for maybe we don't remember as well. Stacey Poole.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Oh, yeah, one of the first Cal teams, little Stacy Poole Jr. He was highly recruited. We went ahead to head with Florida for him. Charles Matthews. Yeah. He made his name for himself after he transferred and went to Michigan, went up there and had a great career after not playing too much as one year here. What about Ryan Harrow?
Starting point is 00:46:28 Ryan Harrell, yeah, struggled. You know, I heard the words were he was eating up Marcus Teague in practice in the 2012 and then 2013 when he got to be the point guard. It just didn't happen for him. Yeah, I think the pressure for Kentucky and the Cal System and all that might have been a little too much for him. We learned over time, but there's not a better YouTube highlight reel than Ryan Harrow. I'll put it up against anybody's.
Starting point is 00:46:48 His high school highlight clip on YouTube was incredible. That dude could really dunk for his size. It just didn't pan out when he got to Kentucky to run the show. How about Ty Wyniard? That's another good. Shade and your buddy Shade and Sharp. I think a lot of people would like to forget that that happened. What about Ty Wynard's bodyguard?
Starting point is 00:47:08 We can't forget him, too. I mean, you can't say one without the others. Was Ty Wynard the guy that, like, chopped down trees or something? He was the lumberjack. The lumberjack. His dad was like a world champion lumberjack. Yeah, okay. Yeah, I knew there was something.
Starting point is 00:47:20 And he had a bodyguard when he walked around campus. I have another good Ty Winnard's story for an uncensored podcast one day. I can't tell it today. I'll tease that. All right, we want to wrap it up here. We got Brad Toy here, our general manager from the Irish Hills golf course. You've got your big tournament coming up this weekend. How many guys will be out here?
Starting point is 00:47:36 We limit it to 120. That's a big field. That is a big field. And people can still register? We have a few spots left, but not many. Can they register for the scramble then on Thursday? We do. on Thursday. Super scrambles on Friday. Friday, okay.
Starting point is 00:47:52 And then we have the tournament on Saturday and Sunday. Is this one of those where you got a ringer that wins it a lot, or is it kind of balance where a different name gets the trophy every year? We've had several back-to-back winners over the past few years, but, you know, it used to be a big statewide golf tournament. It's more of central Kentucky now. But, you know, we've had people like Kevin Lawson that's one and two or three times. Robbie Crockett, a Louisville guy, but he used to be local here. He's won at three. But, I mean, we've had people like Jody Mud and Tom Musselman.
Starting point is 00:48:29 He was talking about Epperson. The Epperson's out of Clark County have won it twice. So, I mean, there's some big names that have won it. Did Aunt Jemima ever play in the golf tournament? I don't know if Aunt Jemima ever. She might have cooked for it, you know? Busy making pancakes. Brad, you guys have been a great host.
Starting point is 00:48:47 can't thank you enough for having us out here. It's been a good host, and you've got a good crowd here, so thank you very much, and hope we get to come back and visit again. I hope you do. Thank you, Brad, Torre. I appreciate it, General Manager. Appreciate it, Brad. Don't forget that scramble deadline tomorrow, too, if you want to get in the scramble.
Starting point is 00:48:59 If you still want to play in the scramble, you still got a chance if you want to give, but the deadline is tomorrow. I got a couple other people are coming in now. Sasha Callia Jones. Yep, went off to NC State. Yeah. I wonder what he's up to now. I don't know what he's up to now.
Starting point is 00:49:12 I didn't follow him much. No idea. I don't think he played much at NC State. Quad A Green. I went to Philadelphia to Quad A's high school. I sat parked outside his high school for like five hours waiting to get a hold of him, went to his game, interviewed him, met his family. I thought he was going to really pan out.
Starting point is 00:49:29 And he wasn't bad. I mean, he played two years here, but his second year is when Shay Gelges-Alexander stepped in and became a start. Back in the tubby era, Ryan Hogan, who was Kevin Grevy's nephew. He came here and didn't play. Then he went to Iowa and had a good couple of years for the Hawkeyes. Remember him, too. I'm not helping your game, remembering all these people. Well, you know, when you think about the great players, those names are easy to come by.
Starting point is 00:49:51 The guys that were kind of maybe didn't pan out or didn't play as much, you kind of forget some of those over the air, so it was a good little summer exercise for us. Thanks for bringing up Shaden Sharp. I did forget about him. Now I'm angry. Shaden Sharp. He has to be the biggest mystery of the Cal era. I think that's when it started going south for the Cal era.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I think it really did. That's when the agents and the NBA started saying more than Kentucky coaches we're saying. Yeah, and he kept hinting that he was going to play. Come watch him warm up. You know, you're going to believe what this guy can do. He's got injured teammates, and he's sitting there watching him from the bench and practice. He's got a heck of a layup. We saw it. So a big night at KS Bar and Grill tonight. We got Singo at 7 o'clock. I know even Mary Joe Perino is coming to Singo tonight. I can't make it. I forgot I have a big dinner. I'm going to be wearing a suit at the TBT game tonight. So when you look at me, I didn't just get dressed up for the game, even though I'm excited. I just have a double header downtown.
Starting point is 00:50:43 So you're going from a big formal dinner in your suit across the street to Rupp Arena. Thank God the game's at 9. Yeah, I have a dinner at 7. I feel like I'll just, I'll be ready to go. I'll just walk across the street and be in there. Now, the game is televised tonight. Yes, FS1. FS1.
Starting point is 00:50:57 But you should go. You should go. If you can't go watch on FS1, but I better see a pack crowd in Rup Arena. We need to get serious about this. It's been so fun through the first two. They're in the round of 16. Looking ahead to Louisville. It's the last game in Lexton.
Starting point is 00:51:08 Let's really get behind them tonight. And Friday night, Alice Bluegown comes to KS Bar and Grill for their first performance. That's right. Show starts at 8 o'clock. Let's pack at the house and have a good night. Listen, our thanks to everybody. Thanks, Tracy, from the Chamber of Commerce, the mayor, the judge, the golf course. Robbie with the Mullet.
Starting point is 00:51:24 Rob, Mr. Mullet over there, Miss Softball. Everybody, we can't thank you enough for it's been a great show. We'll be back with Tom. No, Tom Hart's off tomorrow. We've got to do with us at Tom Hart tomorrow. We'll be at KS Bar tomorrow. This has been Kentucky Sports Radio. Goodbye.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Whitley County.
