Yeah. I mean, Will hasn't been great.

I'm not defending Will. But I don't know what they expected Will Levis with that offensive line that they've had the last couple years. I mean, it is awful watching them try to pass block. Can you, can I give you my biggest takeaway from the NFL yesterday? You are the NFL expert on this career. That's exactly right.

I'm definitely the expert. I was watching Sunday night football. And at halftime of the Falcons chief game, they showed a montage that Arthur Blank, the owner of the Falcons was being inducted into the Falcons ring of honor. And I thought, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. He owns the team.

So did he induct himself, Shannon, into the ring of honor? I think that's what happened. That would be like me having a Kentucky sports radio ring of honor and inducting myself into it. Yeah, there's got to be a crew or a committee that elects you in. You can't just do it yourself. I mean, but who else would do it? He owns the team. I'm sure there's somebody that's on it.

And they've not won a Super Bowl when he's owned the team. Well, but, okay, but neither have any of... I mean, I guess he does... I just can't imagine picking yourself for the ring of honor. It'd be like Bill Gates is like, let's have the Microsoft Hall of Fame, and then the 12th entry will be me. Well, you started it. I guess you should be in it.

I love it, and I look forward. to him winning the Arthur Blank Lifetime Achievement Award at the end of the season. I mean, we always say give people their flowers while they're still around. He is giving himself his flowers. Do you think he should name himself employee of the year? He's like Miley Cyrus. He can buy himself flowers. He is buying himself flowers.

So if he were dead, you would agree with them putting him up there. So he's just saying, I want to see myself go up there. When he dies, I think you could posthumously, or actually, no. I don't think his kids can put him in there either. if they sell the team, then I think the new owner can put the old owner in the ring of honor. Yes. So like if the Mavs have a ring of honor, I think the new people could put Mark Cuban in. But you can't put yourself in the ring of honor.

What's the point in getting rich enough to buy your own team if you can't put yourself in that team's Hall of Fame? Yeah, clearly you can. He just did it. He can do whatever he wants. I mean, he's laughing at you this morning. So like maybe one day KS. will exist so long between the website, the radio, television, social media, even the restaurant that I'll create a KSR Hall of Fame. But I'm not allowed to put myself in it.

But you're one of the founding fathers. But that's known. It's known that the owner, the owner is not, the owner owns it. It's not, you know. I, when I first saw this, the president shouldn't be able to give the president medal of freedom to himself. There's a member of our crew here that, like, let's just say, for example, maybe the OVW started a Hall of Fame, and maybe there's somebody that wrestles in OVW.

I think that person would pick himself maybe to be in the OVW Hall of Fame. No, I can't put myself in the OVW Hall of Fame. I know by Shannon. But I can put Shannon in because Shannon is an employee. But I can't. That would be ridiculous to put yourself in the Hall of Fame. I can see where you think is ridiculous, but you can't because he just did it. It's right.

I thought of him sure can. I thought it's great. I hope he edited the highlight video that they showed himself. I just, I own it. I mean, that's exactly what it is, Shannon. He just gets out there and he just says, I'm in. What are you going to do about it? And he waited until it was on national TV.

And by the way, they gave him a montage and didn't even act like he, like, they act like he earned it. Like in the montage, they did not say he owned the team. Does he have a huge foundation that gives back? He has a huge ego. I know that. No doubt. Take the presidential middle of freedom, and then I'll stop.

Presidents have given that to pass presidents. So, like, Obama gave it to Gerald Ford for, like, helping heal the country by pardoning Nixon. Probably nobody would argue. And I think Jimmy Carter has it. But, like, Biden can't give it to himself, right? That would be a heck of a way to go out. That would be. Before I give up the White House.

Yeah, all right. Who's up next? Josh. Josh, go ahead, Josh. Good morning, gentlemen. Thanks for taking my call. I enjoyed Kentucky's performance Saturday and was encouraged by it. And after the position rankings came out, I thought should we give Gavin Wimson a driver

to and see what he can do in the first half against Ole Miss? No, I don't think so. But I will say Gavin Wimitt was number one. in the player rankings. It's also worth noting, though, that the vast majority of the plays were with the game 34 to 6 and people kind of ready to go home. So, I mean, I think, but Gavin was the highest ranked player on the player ratings. I'll also note Brock Van der Gryff was third.

So it wasn't like Brock Van derogryff was way down. Brock Van derogryff was right underneath him. And Dane was second. Yeah. By the way, so the top three were all Ryan on offense. I thought Brock played really well. I mean, I don't really had any complaints of it. He's best, I think, as he's comfortable back there.

Wimson, they just need him to come in for certain situations. I think he's proven. He can be that guy if you need him. I did like the fact, though, he did do that last drive, Drew, so that if we lose Brock Vandigriff, and history says there'll be at least one game this year where Brought Vandergriff will not play, because we've had a quarterback get hurt in every season, pretty much every season except one in the last eight years.

So there's a very good chance there's going to be a Gavin Wimitt game. It was good to see that, like, we'll be able to move the ball maybe because in some of these last few years, we haven't been able to do that. Yeah, we know what he can do with his legs. He even showed some of that. He had about a 10-yard run, but he made a throw that I didn't know he was capable of. I think he had two completions. One of them was to the sideline down the field, hit the guy in the numbers, kept him in bounds. That was something I didn't know he was capable of.

That was very promising to see when he made that, whether it was against, you know, Ohio, what they had at that point, no matter what the score was. That throw was awesome. Yeah, 859, 2,80, 22, 80s. How was the crowd, by the way? it filled in a little after kickoff this time i don't know if there were gate issues usually i'm walking around there could have been and it was good till fourth quarter fourth quarter it was friends and i'll be honest i'll be i left the press box to go down we did our little react react reaction on the field it was hot as hell people were telling me that but i was inside stepping out there i kind of don't blame

people for leaving the fourth quarter of that game it was very hot out there if you're not somebody that goes to the stadium regularly anymore now that they've enclosed the whole stadium and that they've built all the stuff everywhere. I think it gets a lot hotter on the field than it used to. And in the bowl. Not as much air circulation. There's not as much air circulation. So when you have a day like that where it's sitting heavy, I was not there, but I bet it is,

I mean, Peter Burns told me it was as hot as he could remember when he was doing the pregame and the half-time. And it didn't help you. There was the rain before the game. I think that kind of create a little bit of a sauna effect. Yes, that makes it to where it's kind of like a sauna in there. Yeah. And that, it drives. As I understand it, the water, again, I'm not, I'm going to sound like I don't know anything about signs.

The water drains in the field, but it's like, I don't know if it's still there just hanging out or something, but like it's still, it still can make it hot even though if it's not making the field slippery. I don't know how that works, but. Photosynthesis, photosynthesis. Photosynthesis. What is it? That's what it is. How does that play? The sun hits the water on the turf.

That's the most expensive part, like Lake Como? I'm not sure. I think their next trip is Greece. It's a little cheaper, but it's not cheap. Where are they going in Greece? I'm not sure. Yeah, but they get to play a game against a semi-pro team. It's like a semi-pro team.

Maybe. I mean, I'm just sitting here thinking to fly. How many people are on the football team? I don't know how many they took, but they probably didn't. They probably took a shortened roster, like maybe 50. I don't know, maybe. I mean, 50 and coaches to fly. Equipment?

Great show.

I'm assuming a second season isn't going to happen. I'm assuming not now. Okay. They were supposed to tell us last week, one way or the other, but they actually still haven't. So I don't, but I'm assuming not. I mean, the guy that did it, I know wants to do one, but he also did that Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders show, and that was a massive success for them, and I'm sure they probably are pushing him to do more of those.

We had a thing where we brought in a minority owner, and they were managing it, and there's some transition there. so you'll probably hear me more talk about that more later. But yes, I'm still involved. I've been on the periphery for a while.

Because Survivor leagues are supposed to last 10 to 12, 14 weeks. Yeah, easy. There's a chance after tonight, Shannon, the league ends now. Well, that would be very KSR for that to happen. So we had 27 teams after week one because the Bengals law.

Then we were down to only 11 this week. But those 11 people picked five different teams. So I thought, all right, well, we'll at least get into week four. Oh, no. Four people had the Buccaneers, loss. Two people had the Browns. Loss. Two people had the Raiders.

Loss. We're down to three people. We're down to slice. I love this. Who has the Buffalo Bills? Okay. and Joe Fortinbaugh and Tim Couch, who have the bingles. Both have the bingles?

Which means there's a scenario where if the commanders win and the Jaguars win, no one wins our league. That would be so KSR, man. Not one person would have gotten through the first three rounds. Restart the match. Restart the match. But think about that. Running back.

No one makes it through round three. That's crazy. There's also a scenario where the bills. win, the commanders beat the bingles, and Slice, who is probably the most random person in the league. How many people even know Slice's name? I don't know that I would have gotten it until you said it, Barry Rorson. I know it now, but I would have had to think about it. Barry Rorson, former UK assistant coach, would get the win.

Or if you get the bingles and the Jaguars, it will be the class. classic Tim Couch Joe Fortinbaugh battle for the title. And tonight we have a six-point favorite and a seven-point favorite, which you think, oh, they're in good shape. But those have been all the losers so far this season. The biggest underdogs have been losing straight up. What's great is that Tim Couch, when I ask him to be in, it goes, I don't know what that is.

And I had to explain to him how to do it, and now he might win it. He's one of those guys just wins everything he does, right? Tim Couch is not fair. He wins at life. He is a cheat code to life. Amen. He really is. He's good.

Good at football. Good at basketball. Good at picking up heavy things. Nice. Ripped. Handsome. Ladies love him. Has made a ton of money and keeps making money.

There are people who are riding me saying, Ryan, that it's ridiculous to say we can compete with Old Miss. But we would have said the same thing about Georgia. Do you think it's ridiculous to say that game we can be in it in the fourth quarter? I don't think it's ridiculous. I mean, we all agree Kentucky is going to be a deservedly so an underdog. But the defense Kentucky is going to bring down there is what's going to keep them in a lot of these games. It kept them into the Georgia game. Of course, they didn't show up much against South Carolina.

but this is a defense that Ole Miss has not seen yet this year. So that's why I think Kentucky does have a chance just because of their defense. O'Mitt, Georgia was a sort of traditional team that we tend to play well. The high-powered teams at times have given us problems. Do you worry about that Saturday? I do a little. The Tennessee's Ole Miss, just with the way Brad White plays his defense, you're kind of susceptible to getting carved up against a good quarterback,

which Ole Miss has in Jackson Dart. I'm with Ryan, though. Kentucky's defense is so good. won't surprise me at all if they hold Ole Miss way below what everyone thinks they'll do. I don't think Kentucky can win the game, but I won't count them out of anything with that defense is how special they are. I just worry about that offense getting points. David Bell fired by the Reds.

It's odd to me, Shannon, you would fire a guy with a week left. Yeah, he's so bad you can't even finish out the season. He's been there six years. I guess you could let him finish the week. They're giving him a head start for his next job. Maybe so. I'm glad they're doing it, though. But, you know, the job is now a more attractive job.

They got a ton of young players. I think they'll be able to get a good manager. And I'm still confident for the future. To be honest, in my opinion, it was time for him to, it was time for him to go. I think, like you said, it is going to be attractive for another manager because they're loaded with a lot of great young talent. Yeah. You know, a manager, I'm sure, of good managers thinking, okay, I can take that talent and maybe develop a winner in a couple years. I still, though, I'll tell you what, if the Castellini dude ever puts himself in the Wall of Fame, that'll be a ceremony where you get booed out of the stadium.

Yeah, do you trust him to find a new manager? No, but what am I going to do? He gets booed anyway. They're telling me now, you know, they keep trying to get me to renew the season tickets. And, you know, they do this thing where you can swing for your seats. Do you know about this? Oh, yeah, swing for, if you hit one over the fence. the home run, your season tickets are free.

You're free. And you can get someone else to hit for you, but they can't have played, there's like a rule of how good they can be. They can't be like a ringer. You can't get L.A. Dela Cruz to swing for you? Yeah, I can't get L.A. Dela Cruz out there to swing for me. So, and if, so anyway, they're now offering, they sent me an email that was like, if you do it, you can try it and have someone else try it.

So I almost get two shots at it for my seats. You should do it just for the fun of it. Just because you get a hit a couple. But here's the question. You can't have a current college, minor, or pro player, and you can't have a player who ever played minors or pro. Oh, okay. So you can have a former college player,

but like he can't have played in the last few years. Like there's some state. So who would I get to do it? You're sitting next to him. I'll watch him hit a home run in a legend's ball. In all serious, do you think in batting practice at Red Stadium, which is a short fence, okay, do you think you could hit one? I know I can't.

So, like, it's kind of a way. I might go do it just to have fun, but I know I'm not going to be able to do it. Do you think you can do it? Has to be one of the more embarrassing videos that could exist of me. But this was my law school exam.

Who cares? She's on for like a total of 20 seconds when she's there anyway. We've talked about before in my lifetime, biggest music stars, like stars, Michael Jackson, Yes. Madonna. Yes.

I mean, is it now Beyonce and Taylor Swift? Is that what we're talking about is like in our life? I mean, the Beatles and Elvis, that's a different generation, but they're on. But in terms of just being a star, is she the biggest since Michael Jackson? I think you can make a great argument that she absolutely is the biggest thing since Michael Jackson. I think she is. I mean, Michael Jackson was like that. Yeah.

And she draws that where, like, if she goes and gets a cup of coffee, it's shutting down streets because people are leaving what they're doing to walk that direction and hope they get a glimpse of her. Yeah, it is kind of crazy. All right, let's finish with UK football here for a second. The UK football going in the Old Miss game, a 17 and a half point underdog. That is a massive spread for a team that just played Georgia to a one-point game. Drew, don't you feel like that's high? I thought it would be like 13 maybe, but 17 and a half, like that's really a no respect.

I mean, for Kentucky, Ohio, it opened, I mean, it was 20 for a while, right? I'm aware. It's not so high that I'm going to bet it. I think the logic there is if Ole Miss is moving the ball. I mean, they could blow them out, and Lane Kiffin looks to blow teams out. You guys? Outside of James Franklin, nobody wants to cover more than Lane Kiffin. So if they're able to move the ball and score on Kentucky, I think it'll be very ugly.

Do you think it's a minute ago, though? I just, I don't worry about Kentucky scoring. That's my whole issue. That's it. Ole Miss is averaging like, what, 50 points a game? But they still haven't played anybody. I mean, like literally nobody. I know it's Wake, but they will wake pretty good.

But they had more fans there than Wake was. Yeah, and Kentucky's better than Wake, but that was still a blowout. So if they, let's just say that if they score 50, you're confident Kentucky could score more than 33. They're not getting 50. First of all, they're not, if they score 50, then they're not getting 50. No, if they score 50, no. I mean, look, if they score 31, we're not winning. But.

What do you think the magic number is? For how many points we need to score to win? Yes. I got a number in my head. I think for us to win, we need to score 28. Sometimes the thoughts in my head just jump in your head. Please don't say that to me. You're like the same person.
