Drew, we know what that's meant in the past. What does it mean this year? It means we're going to keep doing it. It is the 10th annual Pro Day. I'm going. When is it? What time? I believe the broadcast starts at six.

It starts at six. On SEC Network Plus. Can I go? Did you get a credential? No. But, you know, I mean, maybe there was a deadline, but, you know, sometimes here. It's over at Memorial. Okay.

But for people wanting to watch, let me get that right, I have it right here. I got a little, little. Oh, six to seven 30. So wait a minute, the basketball team is on TV tonight. SEC Network Plus. That's streaming only. I mean, you can watch it. Yeah, Dick Gabriel and Jack Givens are a project.

Okay. But so I'm excited to watch. So it's going to be at Memorial and it'll just be the pro day thing. You know, I might be back from the hand surgeon. I may try to go. Let's do it. Do it. I'll be there.

Look, Mario wants to go. If I get kicked out, Mario, you're going to have to do what I did for you and advocate for me. Will you do that? Turnabout's fair play. Okay. All right, so what's your scuttle butt? Is it a scoop or scuttle box? No, just kind of skittled butt.

And nothing really earth-shattering, just kind of confirmation of stuff that you've already said. All right, let me hear some scuttle butt. One, he said, don't let anybody tell you there's no NBA talent on this team because Jackson Robinson is an NBA talent. That's good. Yeah, he's legit. Is this somebody that knows what they're talking about? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

All right. The second thing was he said, make those take about it. Lamont Butler is the leader of this team. He is the leader, and he's doing a great job. Lamont Butler is the leader. Leader and being the point guard said he's doing a great job running the ship and being the leader. But the third thing I think is maybe the news we haven't really talked about. He said the breakout star that he saw was Robbie Abraeu.

He said he was kind of slow this summer. Robbie, the baseball player? He's done this all summer. I cannot correct you again on his name. There's not an Embraue on the team. Who are you even talking about? Wait, Matt, while you were gone, we must have done this 75. 75.

Wait, man, hang on. Kobe Brea. Kobe Brea. Not Robbie Abrae. Former Philly, I think. Or did he played for him? First of all, how do you get Robbie Abraeu from Kobe Brea? Their last names are similarly, similely.

Simmerly? They're simmerly. There you go. Right there. Ryan Lemon in a nutshell. Yeah. Robbie and Brayew and Kobe Bray, their last names are similarly. Yeah, similarly. Ryan Abraeu is on the team.

We got to write this one on your head. I got to hit the scoop thing for that. Yeah. Ryan Abraeu has been added to the roster. Tell me how Robbie and Brayu's been doing. Well, he's been the breakout start for this guy because he didn't get to play much this summer, didn't even get a scrimmage against the well-familia team. But since now he's healthy, he's been the guy who's been kind of the, he quote,

He said the breakout star. So we are talking about the shooter from Dayton, I'm a Venezuelan baseball player. Can somebody translate what he does? Shannon, it is hard to get both names wrong. Like most people, if you go back to people who had,

if you go back to people who had, we've had trouble with their names over the years. Like, not everybody knew how to say Nazi's first name, but pretty much everybody could say Muhammad. Yeah. Right. Oscar, it took a while to get Shibway,

But you know what? No one ever called him. Oslo. Like they knew his name was Oscar. But my man, Robbie Abrae, and here's what's going to happen, unfortunately, is when I watch him, Shannon, I'm going to think Robbie Abrae you. It's not even Robbie. It's Bobby. Well, Bobby Abrae you. Kobe Brea.

You didn't even get the other. person's name right well sometimes they call him robbie i think robert bobby you know rob bob stay hot i mean if there's one thing i certainly shannon trust the scuttlebutt with that sort of detail don't you i mean yeah we're getting names we didn't know the team i kept calling him tray mitchell tray mitchell williams it took me all season to get that right yeah well so but by the end

we'll get you a roster before me today there we go all right well good deal well all right so but so that That's tonight at 6 o'clock. I'm definitely going to watch that, and I might try to go if I'm back in time. So sounds good. All right. Well, who's up first? Let's start with Mike. Mike, go ahead, Mike.

Hey, what's going on, Matt? What's up? Hey, listen, just one hours of a lot. I'm not going to stay on any long. Well, we're talking about the teams lost Tennessee and Alabama. And so I always love watching that Tennessee's face when they lose. so I taped it and I replayed it. And, you know, they're a quarterback,

and I don't know if you've got the same take as I do, but he has an issue with decision-making. Yeah, he looked confused. I mean, he looked completely baffled. To be fair, he kind of looked that way a lot against Oklahoma, even though they won. He had looked unstoppable in those first few weeks, and he definitely has come back to Earth in the last two.

Yeah, well, that's all I had to put. I just thought I'd see what your take was. that I'm not thinking out in left field. So he did seem a little confused then. Yeah, I agree. I appreciate the call. I mean, you, he was a dude that I had thought three weeks ago, Drew, there's no way we can, there's no way we can stay with that guy.

Like he's going to, he's going to absolutely pick us apart. And now he looks completely and totally like, you know, vulnerable. I've been surprised at, I don't know. Now, I do not know how to say his last team. But Nico, I've been surprised at how poor he's, he, he, look these last two weeks. Yeah, I think we all crowned them a little too early when they're doing onside kicks up 31 and nothing in the second quarter, beating up on some of their easier opponents. But when he faced a little pressure from Oklahoma and in the game last week,

he was very flustered. He can make open throws and do some incredible things, but when that pocket was collapsed around him, he didn't look like a guy that felt very comfortable. Who do they play the last rest of the year? Because I would really like to see them not make the playoff. I'm going to I'm going to assume that they do, but I would love to see, let's see, I'm going to pull up. This is so difficult. I got it. Yeah, tell me who they play the rest of the year. They go Florida?

Where's the Florida game? They host Florida this week. They'll win that. Then they host Alabama. Okay, I think they'll lose that. So that's two losses. Then they host the cats. Okay.

Host Mississippi State. That's a win. At Georgia. Lose that one. U-TEP. At Vandy. Do not sleep. Do not sleep.

Vandy was beating them when Vandy wasn't even good. So you know what's interesting is if you assume they lose to Alabama and Georgia. Yeah. Which maybe they'll win, but let's assume they lose. We are like their game to have a shot at the play. They might not make the playoff if they lose both to Georgia and Alabama because they really at that point won't have a good win or a great win. But we could knock, I mean, we would be the one to knock them out if we were to win.

Which, again, I'm not picking Kentucky to win against Tennessee ever. But if you did, that would be the one that could knock them out of the player. It looks like the schedule Kentucky could be their third toughest game left after Georgia and Alabama. So, yeah. Yeah. That could be a tough game for them. Yeah. I mean, I don't know what you say about Vandy now.

But, well, if not for Alabama, kind of still in the headline, or Vanderbiltz, I was ready for Fondbaum to be all the hypo complaints. Because if you search his name online, Tennessee fans have turned pretty quickly on him in just a weekend. Yeah, let me ask you about one of the complaints from Alabama fans. they were complaining that they were mad that Kalin DeBoer wore a t-shirt. He said Alabama coaches are supposed to have a level of style and class, and he showed up wearing a t-shirt. Do you think he had not worn a t-shirt in the first few games? I guess it was Vandy.

He thought it was going to be hot. He wore a t-shirt. Do you think that's a fair, do you think it's okay for a coach to wear a t-shirt? No, I mean, it was an Alabama monogram t-shirt still. But it was a t-shirt. Yeah. It wasn't like a pullover. It was 85 degrees probably or hotter than that.

I think a pullover is even that much better than a t-shirt. See, I'm with you, Shannon. Here's what I don't understand. Every coach wears a pull-up, right? Every coach. Some coaches wear hoodies. All of them wear pullovers. Why do Alabama fans think a t-shirt is not as nice as a pullover?

Do they think quarter zips are suits? I think they're just crying. I think they're just upset. They want something to cry about, so they're going to blame the t-shirt on it. I mean, they were really angry about the T-shirt. Like, if you Google DeBoer T-shirt, there's a lot of people like, this is when I knew he wouldn't a Bamma coach is the day he showed up in a t-shirt for the Vandy game. It's like he puts a quarter-zip on and now he's got class.

So a lot of at least put a collar on, at least tuck it in. It wasn't a bit of a pajama like. It was a little bit of a PJ look for the Alabama coach. But I think they're also throwing that in, you know, you had the defender with a little bit of a meltdown kicking the ball. They just think their program that Saban had such control over is in shambles because the way they're dressing and reacting to the loss. I can't wait to hear their crybaby callers on Fondbaum.

Oh, dude, I'm telling you, the cry baby. When Paul Fimbom starts, he just needs to shut up. Paul, don't bring on, this is my friend Mark Simpson from the Birmingham advocate. Shut up. Nobody cares. Let the crazy people talk. Nobody cares about them. Because all last week was Alabama fans pounding their chest, how they just beat

Georgia. So what, I'm trying to think, didn't Cal one time wear something? I mean, people didn't like when he didn't wear a tie for a long time. Yeah. But wasn't, didn't he show up one time in like sweatpants or something? Well, he switched to pullovers. He wore pullovers for a couple seasons after being an Italian suit guy's whole career. But they were kind of like dumpy, weren't they? Well, they were a Nike pullover, maybe a size too big, probably not in the best shape. You know, we've all been there. You get a little bagger clothes. He went through that phase for a little bit. There was a lot of Cal, Cal, put your suit back on.

And also, that's Cal's brand, the Italian, the hair, the suits. So when you got away from that, it was a little more obvious. You don't want to see, like, Rick Patino in, like, a tank top. I kind of would. Speak to yourself.

What's up next? By the way, I hear, I hear Rick. Rick Petino is going to be at the game Saturday? Did I hear that? I mean, he's a donor. I'm just, I've heard through the great, baby, you know, football game Saturday. Big Blue Madness is Monday.

First of all, you're asking what the urgent care clinics are for. It's strep throat. That's it. It's only strip throat. That's the only thing. So the only thing you're supposed to do in an urgent care clinic is strip throat. Yes. Well, why don't they just call it a strep throat clinic?

Well, they should. They should. All right. I cut the top of my ankle once with a mirror and had five stitches there, and my foot still isn't really okay. So it may have been silver lining that they sent you somewhere else. Well, thanks for telling me that. Yeah. No, I mean, when I went to the emergency room, the people there were great,

stitch me up, and it's, you know, it feels like I'm on. the path to recovery, but I'm going to the surgeon today. But you're, but you got stitched up at an immediate care clinic? Yeah, five stitches. Yeah, I will say this. I probably would have even on my own gone somewhere else, because it did have a look, Shannon, if sometimes like, yeah, I don't know. Maybe other people should see this too. Probably not their lot of expertise. Yeah, I mean, in the future, I'm just going to skip that step absent something, uh, but, but, but yeah, well, but man, well, I appreciate it, and I hope your foot gets better. Yes, thank you.

And listen, I have a request for you this week if you have time. What is that? I really would like to hear your take on Amendment 2 coming up. Yeah, I have an immediate take, but I want to read. Here's my, here's the honest truth. My initial inclination is one way, but I always think if before, and I believe this about anything. You should hear the best argument.

for the other side before you make your, you know what I mean? So that when you're deciding you're against something, you don't. What's happened in politics now is people just take the stupidest person on the other side and then use that to beat up on the argument. I want to hear what a smart person on the other side thinks. And then that way I know. And I have yet to hear the supporters of that amendment beyond like, we want everybody to have choice.

I haven't really heard what their argument is. So I'm supposed to talk to somebody this week and then I'm going to talk about it. Oh, great. Okay. Yeah. Just with open borders and everything, it's not really, doesn't seem like a partisan issue. I just want to make sure that I'd like to get your take on it. We mean, open borders. What do you mean? Well, you know, open district borders. You can go. Oh, open district board. Okay. She threw me off too. I was like, what does that mean? Okay, I got you. All right. I appreciate the call. One person writes on the text machine, Matt. I think the parity is largely because of the transfer portal. I think if it weren't for NIL, if you had the transfer portal, there'd be even more parity. That actually might be true, but the portal is the big reason. The portal is, you know, Dumas Johnson is a perfect example. Pre-portal, that kid's not at Kentucky. There's a decent chance pre-portal Brock Vandergriff's not at Kentucky. because they're not going to sit out a year.

So you just look at our captain on offense and our captain on defense, and they both came from Georgia, and there's a good chance if you don't have the portal, Drew, they're both staying at Georgia. So I think that's a perfect example. And then for Georgia, if Carson Beck gets hurt or they can rotate Dumas Johnson in and play him on half the plays and they're never tired, like that's the difference in the games in some ways.

Especially a guy like Dumas Johnson who has a pro career ahead of him, Why would you sit out of you? That's a year you're not making money. You're taking a year off your career. That's exactly right. Just to trade places. But now it helps your career if you can go get more opportunities to be seen and get a few more snaps. I think what – here's what I think's going to happen.

I don't think the portal helps the Western Kentucky's of the world. I actually think those are the schools that kind of get screwed the most because everyone is going to leave at Western Kentucky who, can for every SEC school or every Big Ten school. But I do think the lower tier power conference schools get helped, right? Right. That's who I think gets the biggest advantage from all of this. And Vandy's an example.

Kentucky's an example. I think those are the schools that now have access to players, both from above them and below them, right? You can go get Akron's best player and Alabama's second team and combined to be pretty good. I think Vandy is a great example because a lot of these kids come out of high school probably didn't get recruited by SEC schools. They go to a place like you said, Akron or New Mexico State. Well, now Vandy has, with the transfer port, you have a chance to play in the SEC and play for Vandy.

And you may feel sorry for New Mexico State and losing that kid, but like you ought to be happy for Diego Pavia that he gets to have that stage. Like he gets a chance to go for his dreams in a way that pre-transfer point. he doesn't get to. He was never going to get that at New Mexico State. He'll never have that moment. He gets to have that moment. And if you're a kid right now that's listening, there's probably a kid whose parent or listening or your kids listening, who's playing football, who might go play football next year at Hanover, a Kentucky Wesleyan. There's a world that you could play from Hanover and get to Indiana State. And from Indiana State maybe get to Purdue, and all of a sudden you're on that. You know what I mean, Ryan? Like you're,

your building is never stopping in this way. And that's what's so good about the transfer portal, that exact scenario where it helps kids that maybe get hurt their senior year, under-recruited their senior. They still have a chance to, at some point in their life, play at a major college that they should have been playing at all along. Yeah.

One person writes, Matt, you say you like to listen to smart people's argument. Can you give me an example of a really smart arguer on the left and the rut? Yeah, that's a good question. Well, first of all, there are smarter people, There's a difference between being smart and being able to articulate arguments. For those of you that are younger and like social media, I think the younger person that I think argues democratic positions the best online is a guy named David Packman, P-A-K-M-A-N. He's a younger guy.

I'm not going to say his arguments are great, all of them, but like he articulates in a good way and he can debate back and forth. on the right the problem is so much of it is you have to show loyalty to trump that it becomes about Trump and not about policies um i do think there's a woman that was in my group uh in my is in my fellowship named eleana johnson who i like a lot who's a who's a conservative works for a magazine in washington i think she does a good job of doing it on the on the right but that's what i would But I always think you should look right and say, what do I think? What is the smartest person on the other side?

What do they think so it can make your argument strong? You said that for years. Good leaders usually have somebody on their other side that they can bounce stuff off of. I've said this many times. Matt, I just wanted to appreciate the shout out last week, calling from Canton, North Carolina down here where we've been devastated by flooding. I'm actually headed to a meeting right now to find out when we might be able to go back the school we will be out again for the second straight week uh where is in north carolina where in north carolina what county like give me a sense of where that is yeah it's haywood county it's about 15 miles west of ashville okay um this is our second flood in the last three years um and the devastation this time uh is a much worse across western north carolina but just for us here

in canton we've had uh i'm a sister principal of mill school we've 11 students i think we have now that have lost their homes. And for the second time, four years, our baseball softball football facilities have been totally destroyed by the flood. And so right in the middle of those kids' senior football season, they're going to have to kind of figure out a solution to get that in. Well, let me ask you this. I hate to cut you all, but they're going to hit me with the hard break,

and I'm very sorry. How could people in Kentucky who want to help, what would you suggest they do? People sometimes go, where do I put this money, where would you suggest they do it? I can get you those. I can send you on the text machine some of the places that I know that money goes straight to folks because you're right.

Sometimes you don't know. But I just appreciate you guys being my link to Kentucky, man. I'm a podcast listening to usually because I'm usually working, but it's been nice to be able to just hear you guys. We were out of cell phone service for like six days, Matt. Jayden Daniels has been unbelievable for Washington. And then Caleb Williams yesterday kind of looked like, all right, maybe he's kind of. And even Bo Nicks for Denver came out and played really well. Like this might be one of those group of quarterbacks that ends up being really, really good.

I mean, they're right. You got Daniel the MVP conversation as a rookie. I'll add, even though his second year, C.J. Stroud looks like he's going to be something amazing too. Yeah, he's already there. Yeah, he's already there. But, you know, that wasn't really expected out of that class where some guys fizzled out. C.J. Stroud's going to be a superstar. But so I think is J. and Daniel.

I mean, the commanders weren't even in the conversation for, I think, anybody. And now he's got them as a contender in that division. Caleb Williams, though, I mean, he's gotten better every single game. He was awful in the first game against the Titans, which we won, but, like, he played terrible, and then he wasn't that good, but then he gets – and then he was great yesterday. And I, I, like, finally maybe have a quarterback there. Yeah, and, I mean, he got off to the rough start, but true – I'm almost a true freshman. A rookie quarterback.

with those expectations. You understand. Give him a little room. I think he's going to be a little time. Yeah. So I saw you tweeted about this. How about the Buffalo Bills yesterday? Oh, what a terrible decision.

What I, I will say, I still think it was awful management by the bills, but I'll give them one break, which is I didn't realize the Texans had all three timeouts. So the fact that the Texans had all three timeouts and they were backed up where they were, I can now see where they felt like they had to throw it. If they just run it three times in the middle, then they're going to be. the same situation plays out, basically, right? Except they used their timeouts, but their timeouts really didn't matter at that point. So it's still a little egregious, but I don't know if it's quite as egregious as I thought it was.

McDermott did say after the game, though, I lost this game. He put it on himself, which I kind of thought was a good thing to do. When you got a guy back there like Josh Allen, don't you have to trust him sometimes? Yeah, and he made some really tight to, I mean, his decisions during that were Josh Allen's like he's like one of the like Somebody was talking about did he get like Knocked in the head or I don't bad fall Did you see Josh how did they let him back in?

Yeah I mean maybe he was fine But like that when I saw that Same thing last night with Justin Fields Like I don't know if you saw his his head He got helmet to helmet and at first The referee was trying to decide if he could play And I was like you are not qualified To decide if this guy has a concussion

or not. That referee actually works in an urgent care center down the street from the state. Okay. All right. Well, never mind it. You know what? That was another one, though. Although I fell asleep at halftime. That delay got me last night. I got to very light. Who's next, Shan? Rees. Rees, what's up, Reese? You're talking about two names. It's usually hard to mess up both of them. Yes. There was a postgame show with DSK where I think we messed up all three. Yeah, you're right. I think I was calling him. You were a Demega.

It's supposed to be Demi Sumo Carme. There you go. And I think at one point I was calling him Kumo and then. Dimee Cummo. Yeah. So you're right. I guess I've had that. I still don't think.

I think Robbie Abrey who's worse, but that's just me. I was talking about the Ryan post game show. I think he called him Dino, Simi, something like that. You called him Dino. Yeah. Dino, I think one time. You called him Dino Semi? Dino.

Samo Sunni. I think I got both the first word and the second word. You actually got the two easy words wrong, but did get the third word. All right, well, good. Anything else? Yeah, I was going to ask, talking about Pro Day, do you know if Big Blue Madness is going to be televised? I know the Blue White game is not. Big Blue Madness is televised.

I think Big Blue Madness is on the regular SEC network. I do not think at this point blue white. Here's from what I understand. Blue white is not televised as of now. The SEC network, though, if it decided it wanted to, could, but they don't expect that to happen. So that's what I'm hearing at this point. Okay, perfect.

And then lastly, there's probably more of a fade this segment, but I would love if you and Drew would look at your statement stats and see if you're up or minus money since drafting has been legal in Kentucky. I did that this weekend. I didn't know that was a section until this weekend. Oh, you can. You can see your career stats. Oh, wow.

I appreciate the call. That's interesting. I was shockingly even. I'm up like $12 in three years. Having bet near $20,000 overall, I'm up like $12. Which, that's a huge win, by the way. I was thrilled to be in the green. I'm up, but I hit something huge once that I never really talked about.

if you took that away, then it's probably about even. Because I put in an initial amount of money. I ended up withdrawing it because I'd won it. And then I put in like, so then I had the initial still and it's probably about the same amount in. But I did have one major hit and I was smart enough to say, you know,

just get it out. I'm big on if you put in $100 and you make money and you get then, take out that original $100 and play so you're just playing with your wins. That's kind of how I keep it in my head. Now, if you're talking gambling in my lifetime, that's going to include horse racing and I'm way down. Because horse racing, you know, in the grand scheme of things, so we hit that one derby big, but overall, Ryan, I usually do the derby well, but like Keenland, I might as well just donate. I mean, when I go to Keenland, I might as well just donate it to charity before I go because I never win.

I stopped betting at Keenland because I just kept losing. It's like, this isn't even fun. Yeah, because there's a trainer there named Wesley Ward. And there was a time that every time I went and bet, Wesley Ward's horse would win. And Johnny would call him Worldwide Wesley Ward. And so he'd be like, he'd look at me, a worldwide Wesley Ward.

And then it became that if worldwide Wesley Ward was in the race, I got psyched out. I'd either bet him and he'd lose or I wouldn't bet him. And then he would win. And I got to the point, and I'm sure he, I think he's from Lexington, right? I don't know. I think he is a Lexington guy. But it's become the point that I curse worldwide Wesley Ward's name.

Because no matter, I cannot. If he's in the race, I just have to skip it. And Drew, he's in every race at Keenland. And so he just, he's in my head. The Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, I've never won a bet in a game they're in. Because whatever I think they're going to do, they'll do the opposite. And then Worldwide Wesley Ward is the Atlanta Falcons of horse race. The jockey, what was it, Edgar Prado, who I think is long since retired.

I think that's that type of shirt. But years ago, someone told me, and I thought they knew something. They were like, hey, we got Eddie Prado in this race. Let's bet him. And they said Eddie instead of Edgar. Like they knew him. So I bet it he wins. For years, I would just bet Prado in every race, even though he was already in every race,

and I would just lose every time. But because of the way he said it, I'm like, that feels like they know something. And then with, if you've never been to a Kentucky volleyball game, I mean, Texas is coming for the first time. They've got a great team. So I don't think you could pick a better weekend to come to Lexington. higher than this one. Well, I'm excited, and you guys do an awesome job. I go to Lexington a lot. I'm in a helicopter flying over. I live in Indiana, but I'm a flight paramedic, so I get into Lexington a lot,

beautiful city, and I can say, you guys do an awesome job, and I'm looking forward to meeting Ryan, and all you guys, but special. He's only looking forward to you. You know, Nate Bargazzi had a great joke that I felt, like I said, I felt seen by Nate Bargotsy this weekend on his monologue when he said, I really like processed foods. He's like, I'm really a farm to factory to table kind of guy. And I thought that's exactly what I haven't. he told a scenario about how he wants, he'll have DoorDash, and he sometimes wants two different things from two different restaurants.

But he wants them to get there at different times, so he orders from two different people, and then he's worried they'll come in together and see each other and think he's really a lame person. I've had that exact scenario before, and I felt like, man, he's exactly right. You don't want the guy who's bringing you your blizzard to be the other guy who's bringing you your other food. It's just it's embarrassing if you do that. Unintentionally, I double dashed yesterday and then laughed as they're coming after

Burgatsi made the joke. Because you know they have to look at each other and go, this guy. Well, Brigazzi's like, I got one doordress guy backing out to let the other one end to my driveway. Yeah, exactly. You know, I mean, that might be one of those things that, like, it's easier to see and stuff on TV, you know. I am excited to see the new court.

I know we had one that was a screen years ago, but this is completely different. They had it in the NBA Celebrity All-Star game last year. It was pretty neat. And then, of course, just being there for that first Mark Pope Pop, I want to see that again. It won't be quite like that Sunday back in April, but I'm excited for his first match. Did you see that the, did you watch any of the baseball playoffs last night? The players, Shannon, were cussing at each other. The one guy would like flaredy, I think he struck the guy out.

Then the other one goes, right? And then they're like going at each other. I thought that was kind of me. I'm good with that. You know, we talk about being a traditional fan. But, hey, a little trash talking, even on baseball, in baseball, I like it. Yeah. That Mets-Filly series, yeah.

They don't like each other to begin with. It just kind of added a lot to it. Yeah, so, well, no, no, this wasn't Mets Phillies. This was Dodgers Padres. Oh, I think you're about the Mets Phillies series. No, and the Dodgers. Did they do that? They cuss each other out in the Mets Philly series?

Just the fans are yelling a whole time. No, I mean, the players are cussing each other in the Dodgers Padres. Mani Machado and Jack, whatever his name is, like going at each other. And then they had so many people throw things on the field that they lined the base paths with, you know, security guards because they were trying to make sure nothing happened. Yeah, added some fire to that rivalry. I'm a little bum. My braves aren't there.

I don't know if you all addressed this, but did you see when we celebrated with the... I hated that too. I hated that. And you deserve to lose in the wild card. You shouldn't be out there celebrating with the team you're supposed to beat. And a rival. I'm totally with you. I thought that was really lame.

But I also will say this, the baseball playoffs have been great. I mean, the Phillies Mets game yesterday was great. I like those two franchises going. I like the Dodgers and Padres playing. I think you're going to end up with the Yankees in the AL championship series, which will be fun. It's been a while since the Yankees have been in that position, so I like it. Yeah, this time of year, I actually watch baseball.

So get this season started, looking forward to see what is on these teams and who's good. I think there's two games tonight, right? I think there's two playoffs tonight. There's like two. Tigers. Here's a key for me. I'm supposed to do ESPN Thursday, Shandh. In order for me not to have a show Thursday, I need one of the two AL series to go to a game four.

So the two A.L. Series could not be a sweep. So who won the first two games? Guardians and. Tigers. No, no. Tigers lost. Are you watching any of this?

You're just saying names. The Guardians are playing the Tigers. I thought the Tigers lost. I thought the Tigers won. Which is why I said who, no. The Guardians played the Tigers. Guardians destroyed the tigers.

They play game two tonight. The Yankees beat the Royals. And the Yankees beat the Royals. Sure, you're not the one that went to the ER this weekend. The Yankees beat the Royals. So I need either the Royals or the Tigers, Drew, to win a game. That's what I need that. There you go.

You'll get to four. Five, I don't know, but you'll get to four. I just need one of the two series to get the four. Let's go to Mike. Mike, go ahead, Mike. Hey, so I auditioned for KSTV, however long ago that was and got three thumbs. up. I had a great interview with Drew. I'm a two-time Wendy's caller of the day, but who knew? The only way I could really become part of the team is by having a wilderness first aid

certification so I could be on call to help Matt figure out what to do in an emergency situation. What could I have done differently, though? Like what, I mean, what else was I supposed? I couldn't have sewn myself up. So what was I supposed to do? Well, you know, you did okay. You found something to rabbit, get some compression. Hopefully he kept your arm up in the air while you were doing all that. I knew to do that, yeah. Okay, good. You started out okay then, so that's good. Now, immediate care centers don't usually stitch people up. That is semi-common knowledge, but that's okay. How's that common knowledge? So what's an immediate care center supposed to do then? Strip throat.

Well, is that all you do there? Pretty much, yeah, pretty much just that kind of thing, handling fevers and small boos, not big lacerations. But I did want to say, Two things for you. One, there's a book that you should read called Prepared by a guy named Mike Glover. Okay. And it's about natural disasters. It's about car accidents. At some point in our lives, all of us are going to experience a semi-traumatic or traumatic. It's called prepared. It's called prepared. That's an idea. Okay. For me, living by myself, that's probably a good idea. All right. What's your second thing?

Yep. So the second thing is this. After watching the Alabama v. Andy game, you know, we need to make sure as a fan base that we absolutely appreciate the job of talent evaluation that the Kentucky program has done because that game, watching it, Alabama, did not have a Dionne Walker. They did not have a Dionne Walker. You're exactly right. I mean, the talent evaluation, and I got to cut you off because I got to go to break, but I appreciate the call.

The talent evaluation of Kentucky in the Mark Stoops era really is pretty amazing. I mean, we have, when we've swung big, most of them have hit, not all, but most of them, the ones that haven't hit like Keontay Good, when they knew that was a risk when they took it, but they always give themselves other options. And Ryan, I think that's something that really, we should be happy about. Kentucky teams pass don't get guys like Dionne Walker. They go to Alabama. They go to Georgia.

They don't get them here. And this stats be able to pull guys in that have these major talents, especially on the defensive end. And with him, really that entire defense around him, Kentucky can win any game left on this schedule. They can. I really think they're one of the best defenses in the country. They can. They can also lose any of them except Murray.

I mean, that's what's interesting. I mean, this is going to be an exciting last seven games. You're going to beat Murray, so that's four wins. You can win any game left. You can lose any game left.
