Here's the cool thing about it, too. They will actually send somebody out with you shopping to help you pick what you want. Do I have to go? You might want to have some input if it's your house. Unless you don't care. No, I seriously, this is the true story. If I could find a house where it was already like everything done and they would just put my stuff in it and I could just walk in, that's what I would like to.

Well, they could do that, I'm sure. That would be what I would like. I don't want to have any input. Anything I were to pick would be worse than what someone professional would pick. I'm 100% convinced of that. But like, you know, with all your shoes, if you wanted a certain way to, you know, store your shoes, a state planning could make that for you. If you could see how they're stored now, you would see anything would be better than what they are.

It's like the border around your room. Exactly. That's exactly right. I've closed the border. I'm not allowing any illegals to come in behind my shoe and my shoe and my shoes. and my shoes close the border around my house on the floor. 859-280-2287. We're giving away a ton of stuff here today.

Now, this is not the easiest place to find. You have to come into Gray Line. You've got to walk up to the second floor, take an elevator, take a right. You have to know a secret password. But once you get in, we're going to be giving away a lot of stuff, gift cards, maybe even a special prize at the end. Although I don't know for sure because I haven't gotten it confirmed yet. But that is all here today at estate renovations.

And this is this is a part of town. I don't get in a lot, but I went to school right over there close at Transylvania. Yeah, Gray Lines kind of become this kind of a hipster area. You know, they got North Lime donuts downstairs. Hipster. Yeah, they got a brewery coming down there. So this kind of a hipster area, and this estate planning has the entire second floor. All the second floor up here.

So it's a hipster area. Did you know that? No, are you saying North Lime is hipster donuts? I didn't know there's such a thing. Yeah, super hipster. When I was at Trancy, you didn't come over here. And this entire neighborhood has been completely redone. I mean, like when I was at Trancy, this was the part of Lexington.

Shannon, you kind of stayed away from. And now, like, this is the place to be. I wouldn't want to come hang out here, you know, get my house redone, remodeled. This used to be the old bus station. Yeah. And it was vacant for years and years and years. And generally speaking, I don't care where you are in America. You don't want to hang out at the bus station.

That's generally... I've had it. It's interesting. When you're in Europe, the train station tends to be like where a lot of stuff is. In America, you tend to not want to be where the bus station is. So this is a much bigger upgrade than where it would be in the bus station. At least here, there's a brewery up the road so you can go, you know, have yourself a brusky while you're in the area. Big weekend for Kentucky. This is one of what, two or three weekends during the year where Kentucky will play basketball on Friday night. They will play football on Saturday. Tonight, Kentucky and Jackson State. Tomorrow, Kentucky and Texas.

I'm not sure the discrepancy of opponents could be greater in the two games. We're playing one of the worst basketball teams in Division 1 tonight, and then we're playing one of the best football teams in Division 1 tomorrow. So two major differences. Now, Shannon, you remember Ryan had homework. I love this. He was supposed to do some previews. He was supposed to learn the lineup, the roster of Jackson State.

Did you do that? I did. As awful as it was to watch that Jackson State team play basketball. I suffered through it to get you your scouting report because they are really bad. Which game did you watch? Was it the Western Kentucky game? I watched the Western Kentucky game, and it was horrible. All right, so I'm going to throughout the show just throw you out a number of a player,

and you have to be ready to give me some sort of scouting reports. By number or name? I can do either one, which would you prefer? I think I know them both. Oh, he knows of both. Oh, wow. Hold on. Hold on.

Sorry, I don't believe that. I don't believe that. I do not believe you know them both. So I'm going to do, all right, we'll test you. I'm going to do like one. I'm going to bring Billy on it a little bit, too, to do a few to see who does the better scouting report. But let's just throw one out there. Tell me about number seven.

He's from Silicaaga, Alabama. Give me the scouting report on number seven. I'll even help you since it's your first one. I know him Well, what's his name? Grant Grant. His name is Grant. Okay Wow Wow. All right. So tell me about number seven Shannon Grant. I'm so happy you picked him first. He's my favorite player on the team. He is a big butt post player. Okay 290. Okay two 90. That's correct 6-9 290 you talk about baby shack or Robert tractor trailer. He's that guy. So if he gets it to get two very different players

your Shadden. Baby, Shaq was really good. Tractor trailer was just really fat. But go ahead. Big dude, you're getting the ball down in the post. He can score on you. So it's going to be a good matchup for Amari Williams. But if he steps out of the paint, like Amari Williams, let him shoot it. No shot. But he's, he's, uh... So does he go left or right? Both. Yeah. Both. Depends on what kind of mood he's in. Right. Yeah. But he doesn't play a lot because he gets tired of up and up and up and down the floor. There were a couple times in western Kentucky. He would just standing underneath the paint. Just not even put his hands up. Just standing like a dude. He's got to get out of there. So he's your favorite player. He's my favorite player. I'm so glad you picked him first.

Big butt post player. You guys will see him tonight, number seven. You know what? I'm impressed so far. I mean, one for one. Yeah, yeah, checks out. You said big butt. You said $2.90.

That checks out. When I looked at the roster, I saw one of these dudes is $290 pounds. I think he'll remember that guy. I wanted to give him a little softball to get started. So there you go. One for one. Well done. What do you want to see from Kentucky tonight, right?

Since, you know, we played so well against Duke, really well against Lipscomb, this will be the worst team we play all year. This is the worst of the teams on the roster. So this is the game where in theory, Noah, Perry, all those guys. Like, this is their game. What do you want to see tonight? Should score over 100 and should hold them like in the 60s. I mean, it should be like a 40-point butt kicking tonight.

You're right, because this will be the worst team they play all year. How about just a barrage of three-point shots? You know, and hopefully a lot of them going down. and maybe Kobe Brea can continue to shoot, what, he's shooting, what, 82% from the 3.1? Yeah, it's crazy. So I think just a lot of threes. Normally, I look at a game like this, and there's usually a player that I say, okay, well, this guy hasn't been playing well. I want to see him have a good game tonight.

That's usually how I look at this. But right now, what's crazy is right, of all the dudes that play quite a bit, they're all playing pretty well. So I don't really have one. You're right. The last game you asked me that question, I thought I'd like. to see Lamar Butler maybe hit down a couple of shots. Lamont Butler, knock down a couple of shots. He knows the Jackson's state roster, but he knows Kentucky roster.

You want him to knock down a couple shots, and he did that, you know. So is there any one guy, maybe your boy, Angeley Almanor, maybe get off a little bit better? The guys that play, I'm not sure any of them are playing poorly. I mean, they all have had good moments. They've all shot the ball pretty well. You know, Shannon, I guess you could be picky and say, well, I'd like. to see Colin Chandler play a little bit more or better or maybe you say something about the kids from Kentucky. But I am almost too positive about this basketball team.

I'm almost like when's the rug going to get pulled out from under me? Because we're playing nine guys, all of whom are playing well. If you're being negative now, you're just nitpicking. You're really looking for something to be negative. I don't really see anything yet. Maybe we can have something after the Gonzaga-Clemsing game. But for right now, everybody's playing well. I think this is a game where the Kentucky guys do get a lot of minutes tonight.

And this is a game, I think, where people can have a lot of fun. I mean, I think the decision you may, in the last few years, Kentucky has moved to playing these games on Friday night instead of Sunday. I think that's a good decision. I think it's easier for the crowd. I think you're going to get a great crowd tonight, just my initial inclination. You know, we usually can tell at the bar. I think this is going to be a really good crowd. And I think it's also going to be a lot of fun and energy from a fan base that still kind of wants to.

to celebrate the Duke win now a week and a half ago. We want these feel-good wins. We're kind of overdue for these feel-good wins, and I think that's what we're going to get tonight, and I agree with you. I think I'll have a huge crowd there tonight at Ruck. Let's switch to the football. Okay, less excited about this football game tomorrow.

Kentucky is, what's the spread now? 20. 20. I am amazed some of what I'm hearing about how many Kentucky fans are down in Austin. I actually think we're going to have an insanely big crowd down there. I hope we're able to put on a show for them. Because, I mean, I had people telling me they were on a flight from Raleigh, Durham, and there were 25 people with UK gear on their flight from Raleigh to Austin.

So, I mean, I think you're going to see, like, a lot of Kentucky fans there. Are they going to see a game Ryan that's competitive? I hope they do. Not hope. Are they going to see? We all hope. We all hope. The question is, will they?

I'm really worried about this game because it means a lot, you know, to Texas. It's a big deal for them. You know, the fact that we can't score over 20 points in an SEC game scares me because I don't know if we can hold them to under 20 points a game. We can't. No. We're not going to hold them to under 20. We're going to have to score. Well, I mean, for us to win, I guess you would hope it would be like the old Miss game where it's like you do kind of limit them.

Maybe you win 2420 or 2421 or something like that. I think we're probably going to have to have. We're certainly going to have, Shannon, our best. offensive game of the year to have a chance to be compared. I think you're going to have to have some turnovers. I think you're going to have maybe a defensive score or something like a pick six. Maybe. You know, if there's anything that gives you hope, Arkansas did hold Texas to 20 points last week.

If it's that type of game, if Kentucky's defense can hold up, I could see a scenario where Kentucky can win, you know, 21, 20, 24, something like you're talking about. I think the biggest, bigger thing is for me, this is going to be a judge in some ways about next week because we can beat Louisville. I mean, even with all that's happened, we can still beat Louisville. Right now, Louisville's a three-point favorite in this game. They have struggled this year. I don't think there's any doubt we have more talent than Louisville. But my question is, have we mailed it in or not? It's hard to know, right? Like, it's complete, like we played well against Tennessee, but then there's two weeks off, and some of the guys didn't even play against

Murray, and it was hard to really read anything to the Murray game. They're terrible. For me, this game could go one of two ways. I could see it to where it's the fourth quarter and we're in it, like Ole Miss, like Georgia, like Tennessee. I could also see us losing by 40. And it kind of being like a final referendum on Stoops tomorrow, I just don't know which one of those will happen. See, I think you're right. I mean, the three best games Kentucky has played in the SEC all year. Three hardest.

I've been against the three toughest teams, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. played well, really, in all three of those games. You've got to hope that maybe there's some of that can carry down to Austin and tomorrow. There's a lot rotting on these last two games of the season. If you can keep it competitive tomorrow and then beat Louisville, I think that I'm still optimistic with Stoops moving forward. If you get blown out tomorrow and you lose to Louisville, that's a complete 180.

You know, there's a saying that says time heals all wounds, right? So what often happens, especially what I've learned from coaches that are at all, all in a controversial position where fans can go either way. In the moment after a loss, people lose their minds, right? But then over time, it, you know, kind of evens out. For me, for Stoves, the fan base is evened out a little bit. I think a lot of this fan base is like, okay, he's probably coming back. I'm okay with that, blah, blah, blah.

But if you take a 40-point loss against Texas, and then you lose to Louisville, that's an entirely different situation. Guess what the number is? First of all, what do you think the number should be for DSK rushing yards over under? Well, like Shannon said, I think they're going to give the ball to Wilcox. Okay, but that's what it should be. 75. I'd say 35. Yeah. You're smarter.

It's 37. Yeah. I don't know if he'll get a whole lot of touches because I think they really want to jumpstart Wilcox for next season. Is that like insight there? Maybe. Some scoop. All right. Well, there you go.

Wow, I like it. One person writes, Matt, what do you think is more likely the amount of points we beat Jackson, or higher, excuse me, the amount of points we beat Jackson State or the amount of points Texas beats us? Ew. I'm going to go. I'm going to say we beat Jackson State. I think it would be very unlikely we don't beat them by more than, say, 30. And I think it's going to be very difficult. I mean, we could lose by more than 30 in football, but that would take more.

of a bad performance so i'm gonna say i'm gonna say i would say we went in basketball by at least 40 points and i don't think we get blown about 40 tomorrow against texas i hope not yeah i'm home with you guys man i think our defense can still step up and kind of contain them a little bit where we keep it under 40 for crying out loud by the way the Kentucky jackson state line 35.5.5. yeah we just both said 40 so i guess we're 305.5.5. 859-280 2287 by the way tell me about number 12 on jackson state He's a bench player. His last name is Williams. Is he right?

Yeah. Wow. He doesn't play a lot. He comes in and kind of just gives you spot minutes. Doesn't do anything offensively. Doesn't help you whatsoever. He's basically an all-American clapper that comes off the bitch. That's three things.

I got to give it to you. Listen, he's two for two. Geez. I don't know, Shannon. Does this guy maybe? Did he do his homework? Maybe? Can we put you on the bench tonight just in case he needs like a,

And have you heard of the app called Air Message? I have not, no.

Well, you know how you guys are always talking about how Ryan screws up your text with with his Android phone. It's an app that allows him with an Android to text you guys through iMessage and it's compatible with group chats. Yeah, he won't be able to do any of that. I can tell you. Sounds really confusing.

You mentioned four different things right there. iPhone, Android, Air Message, app. None of that. Ryan will be able to do none of that. Well, he's doing well with his player quizzes, so I don't know. I understand.

And he spent a month's worth. worth of work to get that done. I appreciate the call. There's no chance that's going to work. Ryan has ruined more group chats than anyone on that. A lot of times I'll get like just half of the conversation. I'll get it like halfway in. I'm like, I don't know what you guys are talking about.

You guys are going back and forth, and I don't get them because of Ryan. I'm blaming your phone. He mentioned the trip. You guys, I mean, you realize we are nine days away from getting in a car and driving all the way to Seattle. I just asked Mario if he was ready for it and he said, do I need boots? and I said, I don't know. I would say yes, because there's going to be snow somewhere in those cities. I'm not taking any boots.

We'll be good, Mario, me and you. Y'all can walk around with one shoes if you want. But, I mean, this is going to be a long trip. I look, they gave me an offer for us to fly first back, fly first class back. I turned it down just so you know. Well, I don't. Well, I mean, don't. Oh, you got the $2,500 extra dollars it was going to cost for the five of them to throw up.

to fly back? I think these people would pony up for us for our comfort. I don't want to spoil anything for Mario, but he's got special plans for Shannon to keep him engaged with all of us on the trip. No, I've already told you, if I sleep, let me sleep. Don't be waking me up. You think I'm grumpy. Wait till you mess with me on the road trip.

Hey, by the way, I just want to give a heads up to the people in Lexington. If your Fox Station is the Lexington Fox Station, so if you're listening and you're in the Lexington viewing area. I'm going to give you some bad news. A big game tomorrow, Indiana, Ohio State will not be on in Lexington. They are preempting it for a high school basketball tournament. Now, it is a high school basketball tournament that includes Malachi Moreno and the Great Crossing Team, but Indiana, Ohio State will not be on Fox tomorrow.

Now, you can watch it on the Fox Sports app, but like, I don't know how that works, but you can. Indiana, Ohio State is not on television. I don't think the average person knows that. That's the biggest game of the day tomorrow, and I am expecting utter, if I worked at Fox 56, I would tell them close the phone lines from noon to 3.30, because I'm sure there's a lot of Indiana fans in this area, and the game is not on.

They are putting a high school basketball tournament on instead. He wants to get back to that, whether it's the Maui Invitational or Bahamas tournament or something, this Thanksgiving holiday tournaments. I think he wants to get back to doing that. And it's a reward for our fans. The fan base loves going to those games. I loved going when I went. the one year. The BBN Invitational is a wonderful event, Shannon. But I think I would be okay if we skipped it and maybe went to Maui or something like that.

I didn't even know what was going on outside of us playing these teams. Like when Western was playing Jackson State, did you even know what was going on? It's a fraud of a tournament, to be honest. It's a fraud. Well, no, I mean, it is. Us and Duke are like the only great teams that do this. All the other really good teams go play in these holiday tournaments. And there are more and more of them.

There's a couple of them going on right now. Last night there was one like us doing this this is a money grab. It's two things. One, it's that Cal didn't want to play in them. And two, it's a money grab because you get three home games. But still, for your fans, nobody wants to see us play Jackson State tonight instead of going and playing in Maui or the Bahamas or whatever. We're Kentucky.
