It's one of the richest cities in America. Well, that's why I don't know it. You're not invited to Louisville for a while. Yeah, you're definitely not invited to Louisville. And the Colorado Springs Switchbacks apparently won the title last year. Oh, they did? Yeah. I know the word nil.

The only time you ever use it in life, 3 nil. That's true. You really don't. That's only in soccer where they say nil. But, yes, it is, hopefully we will beat Hartford in the opening game of the new season next Saturday. Hopefully beat them 3-0. And a big part about the stadium is they've got seven youth fields back there, all turf. Those youth fields are turf back there.

They've got their own little youth program they've started. So they've got a stage out here. They're going to have pregame concerts. So they've got all thunder and lightning. The two little horses, I forgot about thunder and lightning. Little miniature ponies. That was the most excited you've been in a month was about thunder and lightning. Yeah, I forgot about them.

They also signed, by the way, a new player for this year. Corey Burke, he plays on the Jamaican national team. So that's their newest signing. So concessions are open. You can come by and get food here. I say definitely go by the merch shop, get some of the gear. It's really nice. 859-280-2287.

Let's quickly talk about the women last night. How about beating Tennessee by the biggest margin in the history of the school? Beat them by 24 points. At one point up 33, Drew. I mean, just absolutely annihilating Tennessee. It was just complete domination. I think it ensures a double buy for Kentucky in the SEC tournament for the women, which means the women will get a higher seed than the men.

It looks like in the SEC tournament. But a big win for Kenny Brooks. They've had a great year. They haven't really gotten that marquee home win, and they got it last night. And so that was awesome. Really was. I was watching at home. I didn't get to go, and I genuinely felt good about them winning the game.

But my goodness, nothing like that. And it was a blowout from the beginning. They went up big right away and just never looked back. It got so big. I even turned it off and went and did something else. They're about 30. You start in the fourth quarter. They also had one of the announce.

I don't know if any of you watched the game. The announcer made one of the dumbest comments in the history of sports. We were up 29 with three minutes to go. And the announcer, Shannon, said, I wouldn't rule off Tennessee yet. At what point would he then? I was like, I'll rule it off. You know what, sir? I'll give you 5,000 to one off.

We're up 29 with three minutes to go. I think we're going to pull it out. Well, anytime you can beat Tennessee, number one, that's always fun. But to do it, 82 to 58 and just dominate them. How about Clara a strike? Playing with a sprain thumb went 11 for 11 from the field, 23 points. With 15 rebounds, too. That's a lightener performance.

23 points, 15 rebounds, 11 for 11 from the field. Yeah, Amari just went perfect. Then she doubled down. She went perfect also. I heard that comment. I think that was Shemiko Hotsklau that said it, who was a former Tennessee player, right? Maybe.

She was. I didn't know that's her. I still feel like you could have written them off, though. I don't care what you say. They were not coming back at that point. No, and we got to see how Kentucky size. I mean, it's paid off a lot this year, but it really played off last night with Stratt going 11 for 11. They had nine blocks, which set the season record for blocks for UK women.

All right, Shannon, another thing for you. I didn't know we did this, but apparently Jeff B. Bezos will fly you into space for 45 minutes. Did you know this? No. Jeff Bezos, it's called like, I don't know, Amazon flight or whatever, but you can pay, I'm sure an obscene amount of money. They've only done it 11 times, but they'll fly you up into space and you will be in space

for 45 minutes and you can see the curvature of the earth. You technically get into whatever the scientific definition of space is. You may remember we talked a few years ago, William Shatner did it. Like, that was kind of how he started. Well, they just announced they're sending a crew of all women up, first time that's ever happened, and there are three, like, astronauts. But did you see who the other three people are? No.

One is Jeff Bezos's girlfriend. Okay. Which, like to know how that happened, by the way. Hey, honey, can I go to space? And he's like, fine, okay, I got that. second is gail king from cbs this morning oh wow okay gal king is going and then third is katie perry so katie perry uh gail king and then lauren sanchez who's jeff bezos's his girlfriend are all going up into space here's my question like if you're gale king or if you're katie perry or even

lauren sanchez who now's worth the but it's going to be a bazillion dollars right would you do it like You don't have to pay anything. They're letting them go up for free for the publicity. Gail King's maybe going to do CBS this morning from space. What? Yeah. Which if you remember, my ex-girlfriend is her producer. So, like, I'm sure she'll be involved in that.

But would you do it? Would you feel good enough about it to be like it's free? You don't even have to pay for it. You just have to go. Well, you know, I don't even like flying at 10,000 feet on Delta. But you get to be in space. There have only been, like, 200 humans, 250 humans in history that have been in space. I mean, it's not a lot of people.

I'm okay not going to space. I feel like anything that I could see on that flight, I could probably just get on YouTube and type it in and see it right there. It probably won't be the same, no, if you're on YouTube. You know what? You get to feel no gravity, like they'll be floating around like you see in the thing. It's not doing it for me. I just, I would be nervous the entire time that the thing's going to explode

and I wouldn't be able to come back to Earth. So you don't think you could enjoy it? No, I would be a nervous wreck. I don't think if you paid me, I would go. Okay. What about you, Drew? You're going. Oh, I would hop on in a heartbeat.

I mean, yes, absolutely. You know, I'll never have the money to participate. But if someone said, we have an open seat, do you want to go to space? Heck, yeah, I'm buckling up. Yeah. And, you know, Katie Perry, superstar singer, Gail Keeney. I mean, like, they got good lives. Are you going?

I'm tackling Katie Perry and taking her spot. I'm absolutely going. You don't have to tackle anybody. We got another seat. What is with you? You're tackling Katie Perry. Are you going? Just answer that question.

No one hundred percent I'm going. Not even thinking twice about it. All right, Matt, am I the only one that's not going? I know that you're a nervous flyer like I am. I'm going. You would go. Just because, you know, it's the same reason I jumped out of a plane. Life short.

Like you got to go in space, it might be even shorter. I do want to know how they land. How do you get back to Earth? Okay, that's a good question. They get up there and then it's like when the dude, you remember the Red Bull thing where the guy, I parachuted, they parachute it back down. So you float back down.

I don't know how exactly it works. But remember that guy who went to space? They parachuted down. It's the same principle. It's apparent that your craft will parachute back to Earth. And just land in the ocean somewhere and they come out and... I think they probably have it to where it's not in the middle of the ocean. I think they'll figure out somewhere to put them.

There's too many things that could go wrong for me. Like what's, you know, the payoff, the reward versus the risk to me is not the same. I think I would do it. I think I would do it because I, It would just be chance of a lifetime. You've got to do it. Yeah, I mean, like, you got, life is short. You've got to try stuff.

You're right. It might be shorter, but you'll let it all, I will have seen space. Well, Kentucky plays on the moon. You three can go and let me know how it works for you. All right. Sounds good. Who's next? Richard is up next.

Richard, go ahead, Richard. Well, good morning, fellas. What's up? The question I have, do you think Pope will try to attack Al, Auburn, in the blocks to try to get bone and foul trouble. And who do you think on our side of guard, boom, and I'll get off the rear let you talk. I don't think there's anything you can do to get Auburn in trouble, Drew, because, like, they won a bunch of games without Brun. I mean, they're still good. I do think it'll be

interesting to see who we defend them with. I'm going to assume it's Amari. Would you agree with that? You got to. Yeah, that's the match. Sometimes they go too bigs with Cardwell inside. They do, but Brum will eat Carr up. I mean, Carr and Ansley have no chance against Broom. I think Amari can do all right. Garrison will do the best he can, but this is a game where Amari can't get two fouls. To me, if you're going to play Amari 30 minutes, this is a game you've got to do it because we have no one else who can guard Brooke. And if you'd ask me before Wednesday night, I wouldn't have said Brandon Garrison,

but if he looks anything like he did at Oklahoma, I'm confident he can give some good minutes. He looks great defensively. That way maybe he found our enforcer with Garrison with that raging tipper he's got? The problem is that he has a raging temper, but he doesn't play like it. Like, he plays, he's actually very soft with the way he plays. He avoids contact. You know, he does. I'm going to give you one pet peeve.

It didn't, it wasn't as big a pet peeve because we won. But we got two guys on this team that box out facing the dude they're trying to box out. Brandon Garrison and Andrew Carr, when a shot goes up, they put their elbows out like this. and they get called for it a lot, but it also gets them burned because they're like this, and then the guy spins around and gets the – Brandon Garrison, he has a temper, but he used to play like he had –

like, Jamal McGlore had a temper. Yeah. But he also played like he had a temper. He played like he was tough. Garrison needs to do that. Brandon, absolutely. Despite the great game he had at Oklahoma, he still gets pushed around a lot and down the paint.

And Drew said it, man. They've got just not Joe and I Bruin. out that Cardwell dude who's a big, strong guy also. I don't know how we match up with both of those guys. I mean, again, we won, so you shouldn't like focus on the negative. But Oklahoma is the worst rebounding team in the SEC, and they out rebounded us. So, I mean, there is, you know, we do need to get that toughness amped up. Absolutely.

And I did a little digging last night, wrote on the website. I found out why Garrison's temper might have been what it was. I didn't realize he lost Oklahoma twice last year in the final seconds. One was a buzzer beater, and Oklahoma was one. waving and taunting him in Stillwater. What we saw last night, he's already been through twice. It was another very emotional game, and he was on the losing in twice and getting mocked on his way out.

So I think it might have been a unique situation for him. So he still needs to get that under control, but that had some history. I didn't know that. Who's up next? Ben is up next. Ben, go ahead, Ben. Hey, good morning. First time, long time.

I would absolutely go there at 1 o'clock on Saturday. Who do you think has to have a big game for us to win tomorrow? Kobe Brea. He's got to come out and just knock it, especially if Jackson's not at full strength. He's got to shoot well tomorrow. They've got to match because Auburn's going to score. But they don't score like Alabama and Florida. You don't have to score 95 against them.

You probably have to score 85, maybe even 90. They have one game in the 50s. Yeah, they don't. They're not like Alabama where, like, they're going to score. You could probably win Drew scoring 85, 84. And I think Kobe's important, but on the defensive end, they have Chad Baker-Mazara who plays a little wing, plays a little point guard.

At some point in the game, Kobe's going to be matched up with him, and he's going to have to play some of his best defense of the year and still make some threes on the other end. He's ever been on facts in a show, including getting the capital of Alabama wrong. He corrected you and said it was a female announcer that said they would come back. It was a male.

and he also said it was Shemika Hodeskla and it was Tamika Catchings. Otherwise, he was 100% correct. I feel like I was really close on that one. Yes, I said it was a male. You corrected me and said a female. And then you said the wrong female. I'm going to say, I remember seeing her on the screen. I thought she's the one that said it.

But she wasn't. She wasn't even there. She wasn't even there. She wasn't even there. Like we say, facts are optional. Facts are optional. Facts are very optional. One person writes, Matt, my mom is 74 years old.

She listens to your show occasionally. not regularly. She called me yesterday, and we normally talk on Sundays, so I thought something was wrong. I answered, and she goes, did you hear what that guy, Billy, did to the woman from Pipe? She said, that led to a 20-minute conversation with my mom talking about how people don't show respect anymore. Tell Billy that it was nice to hear from my mom. So there you go, Billy. I didn't think about it.

She was wanting to give her 95-year-old grandma a birthday shout-out. You're just rubbing it in right now. But that's, well, Billy's bringing people together to have conversations. Right. There we go. That's a good way to look at it. It's been zone. Billy, I would lean into that one a lot about how you're saving families.

Yes. Did you see the, hear the story, two NFL reporters got into a fist fight at a Starbucks. Yeah. Media fight. I like it. A media fight. So it was in Starbucks in Indianapolis for the Combine, Ian Rappaport and Jordan Shultz. I don't know what they were fighting about, but they confront each other.

They end up getting in a fight. They get separated. Here's the interesting side note. Jordan Schultz of the fight, his dad is the dude who created Starbucks. You got a little money. Howard Schultz. He created all of Starbucks, and his son is now fighting in the Indianapolis Starbucks. So that got me to think about media fights.

You know, a lot of these times you people, like you don't realize that a lot of these media people hate each other, especially back in the day. Less so now, but back in the day. Do you remember media fights from your days of doing it? I have one that I remember, but do you remember one in particular? I remember a couple. Well, give me an example of one. Well, one was Pat 40 and Susan Lacks, and Pat 40 just totally went after her for really no reason. Susan was just doing her job.

But they didn't get a fist fight. Not in a fist fight. I don't remember any fist fights. You remember one? You remember Alan Cutler and. the dude jawing at each other in the locker room? I don't think they did a fist fight, though. They were, like, screaming and, like, pushing each other, right?

What was his name? Dan. I actually don't remember this. Dan Reifer. Dan, yeah. Thundered Dan. I like Dan a lot. Yeah, I don't think they put their hands on each other.

Because remember Anthony Davis later said mustache dude got into a, got into it. The guys, they don't do this anymore, but people used to get so mad about having their mic flag up. So, you know, it might have been that. Like, when they hold up, it says L-AX-18. The other TV stations get mad once you to take that off. They'd yell about that a lot all the time. They got into it, and I do remember Anthony Davis going,

the mustache dude was fighting just a minute ago. I remember that now. I didn't register it first. Culler wasn't afraid to tell people how he's feeling at some of those media things. Who do we think in media, like, locally, would be the person like that you would not want to mess with? Like, who is like the... Me?

Dick Gabriel. Oh, yeah, Dick. That's right. Dick five-time blindfold or something. Dick Gabriel is a five-time taquoise. Ju-Wondo, you wouldn't want to mess with him. You wouldn't want the big blue smoke. Yeah, I don't know.

It's a much more mellow crowd than it used to be. There used to be a lot of testosterone in those things back when Ryan was doing it. There was a lot of TV anchors used to have a lot of ego, and they would kind of. I bet Tom Leach could take somebody down. There used to be a lot more kind of. And it was crazy because we're such a small fraternity. But you hated each of. We're together every event, every day, the same place, same time.

But boy, you talk about being competitive. It was ultra competitive. Alan Cutler and Rob Bromley, those two. Those are names of fighting from the past. I remember Captain Suntan wasn't some of the challenge, too. Yeah. Yeah. I forgot about that.

I got to step in and split you two up. That's a true story. Kentucky played Louisville in football, and Captain Suntan walked up to me and said, do you want to fight? And I was like, no, I want to eat this sandwich and watch the game. This is like in the press box, too, right? Press prox for Kentucky.

He later out of no context. Just walked up to me and goes, okay, I'm here. Do you want to fight? And I was like, no, I'm a grown man. What are you talking about? I have another one with us. We were in Indianapolis for NCAA tournament. Two of my friends were going to Morton Steakhouse, night white tablecloth dinner.

I pull up a chair to hang out with them. You pull up a chair. We're just all being friends. And Pat 40 walks over and just starts staring at us while we're eating. And we're like, what, Pat? What do you want? But I don't know if you wanted some in Morton's or what was going on. He was very bizarre.

He was a tough guy for a long time. Now I know that he went at slacks, too. He's definitely on my best list. How about Dan Dockich as well? I feel like he has challenged you on Twitter to a fight. Yeah, Dan Dockich claimed that he threatened to fight me and that I ran away, but he didn't even talk to me. Like, that was –

Docch is the lineest dude in the world. Who's next? Hans is up next. Hans, go ahead. Yo, hey, it's a little late, but I went to the Oklahoma game. It was too cheap to not go. And I'll be honest, I started feeling just horrible for that school and whatever they're trying to do in relation to basketball. They gave a PowerPoint presentation before the game started.

And it was like, how to be a good fan this game. And when the other team has the ball, when the other team has the ball, scout defense. when we have the ball cheer and it's like dang this is a low point i'm really surprised i am really surprised i'm really surprised at how bad that oklahoma atmosphere was i mean generally speaking when kentucky has gone on the road in the cc even if a team gets no one for any game they get a pretty good crowd for that one. That has to be one of the worst crowds for a Kentucky road game ever, and it's their first year in the SEC. And I remember watching Oklahoma basketball sometimes and seeing crowds, like their program must have just collapsed. See, I'm with you,

I think the first time Kentucky's ever played at Oklahoma, first time they've ever played in the state of Oklahoma, and then their SEC first year, I thought the crowd would be crazy. Like it usually is when we go on the road in the SEC. talking to Adam, who was there for KSR, and we were kind of joking about how they had the ropes up to storm the court. He was like, if they did storm the court, I'm not sure they would have filled the paint with the people that would have gone down there. It really, you know, I mean, it's interesting. When Oklahoma joined the SEC, Shannon, I said Texas will be fine, and clearly they were fine. They went to the SEC championship game and football.

You know, they're not great in basketball. They'll probably make the tournament. But I said, Oklahoma is going to be the one that struggled. They're about to go from playing Kansas State and Texas Tech to having to play real teams. And they struggled in football, and I think they're going to struggle in basketball. I think that Oklahoma program, you've got to move to the SEC when you get asked, but I'm not sure they're as ready for it as maybe others. Yeah, I'm surprised their fan base didn't show up better for that Kentucky game. When you've got to have Dollar Beer Night just to entice your fans to come to see their team play Kentucky,

that's when you know it's bad. There's a big difference between half your schedule being TCU, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Kansas State, and then coming to the SEC, and also coming in the year, basketball is better than it's ever been. You don't hear a lot of that. So I guess that's why he was given the double bird is they were questioning Shannon his integrity as a scorebook keeper. And I guess there's probably no video to go to in a high school game where you can go back and figure it out instead of just. just having somebody's word that it's their fifth foul. I still don't know if you're the scorekeeper. That's how you defend your stats by going double bird,

I think they're going to squeak in to the tournament. I'm 0 for four betting against Arkansas so let me tell you they're going to win this game by 50. No chance South Carolina wins this whatsoever. They might win by a hundred so I'm definitely taking Arkansas

to cover. It's crazy Arkansas play better since Boogie Flan got hurt, and they really are playing better, so I'm going to pick Arkansas also. You know, Cal giveeth, Cal taketh away. This is the taketh away. He's won a couple games he shouldn't have, then he'll go and lose it South Carolina. That's the Cal Perry thing. Take the Gamecocks to win their second game of the year in the conference. Oklahoma's at Ole Miss.

Old Miss is winning that. LSU's at Mississippi State. Mississippi State's winning that. So let's go to Missouri at Vanderbilt. Can your Commodores get another victory? I think they can. They play differently at home, even though they had a great road win earlier this week over Texas A&M. I think they win tomorrow.

I'll go Missouri there. I kind of want Missouri to win all the way up until we play them. I don't need them having a few losses and needed to be more motivated already. That was a huge win for Vandy to win at Texas A&M last time. So they're riding a high. Now they're at home. I'm going Vandy. Yeah, I'm going to go Missouri.

I'm going to take with Drew. I think Missouri gets on the road. I don't think the environment at Vandy will be strong enough to get them through. a what could be a play-in game for the NCAA tournament. Georgia and Texas. Winner, maybe in, loser, maybe out. Who you got? Kind of a toss-up game.

Just because it's in Austin, I'm going to go with Texas. I'm going Texas because of Trey Johnson, but if Georgia is allowed to play football like they are at home, that'll be a different story. But I think Texas wins it. Yeah, so this is a football matchup. You're right. I'm going to Texas, though. Texas got to win this. Texas got to win this.

If Texas loses this, you're going to have a year where Texas and Oklahoma will be. both pulling the conference and neither one of them makes the tournament. Texas has got to win this. Now the two big games in the SEC, A&M is at Florida. And if A&M wins this, we don't talk about A&M, but they still will be in contention for a two-seat. They did just lose it home to Vendee. Yeah, they've been slipping in a little bit.

I think Florida at home takes care of business. Buzz Williams should be in prison, and A&M should have a postseason band after what they did Wednesday night. Florida, please win. I'll take the gators. Longest game over. Florida, yeah, definitely. Hey, for those of us that are Kentucky fans, root for Florida.

Because Texas A&M is only one game ahead of us. If they lose, we can still get them past them and get a better seed in the SEC tournament. So root for Florida. And then the big game of the night, Alabama at Tennessee. Tennessee has struggled to win like a marquee game. Can they get this one at home against Alabama? I'm going to go with the crimson tide just because they can shoot the three so well. So I'm taking Alabama.

Yeah, even on Tennessee's best day, they struggle. to score. Lanier and Ziegler had a big game last week, but I still think Alabama just has too much firepower, so I'll take Alabama. I'm still in the belief that Alabama may be the best team in the country, even better than all. I know Auburn beat them, but they're still really, really good. So I'm going Alabama. I just don't know how Tennessee can score enough. I mean, against Alabama's going to score

80 even on their worst day, and I just don't see how Tennessee scores 80. Their offense is too bad, so I think you've got to take Alabama. Who's up next? Randy is up next. Randy, go ahead, Randy. Good morning, gentlemen. Yeah, I think you want Florida to win out because that helps us speed flies. But the other thing is the big game tomorrow. Kentucky by five.

It's been wild. It's surprising to me how wild it's been for early games. We need that again tomorrow. It's been that way all year, man. Especially these big profile marquee games. It has been rocking at Ruppery. It'll be a great environment tomorrow for that game. I fully agree.

I can't say enough good things about Rupp this year. I have no doubt they'll show up and be excited. I even have some binoculars. I'm so excited for it to take tomorrow. Mononkillers. We're really going to try to enjoy the game up there. Wow. All right.

You know, over the years, I feel like we have sort of been critical of the Rup crowd. But whatever reason this season has been. I don't know if it's, you know, the new coat. It's Pope. Pope. Yeah. Whatever reason, it's a resurgence and energy. I think what's happened is there's a group of fans.

We've talked about this a lot, but, you know, 35 to 55, grew up, maybe 40 to 55, grew up around the Patino years, had really become disheartened at the last end of the Cal years, and it's like having Pope re-energize that group, and I think they've brought that into Rupp. You know, the younger people are always into it, but I think the middle-aged fan is more into Kentucky basketball this year than I think they've been into it in a long time. And I think that's hell. And I love that too, because now it reminds me of how Rupp used to be back in the 90s when

I was a kid watching. I totally agree. I mean, it is a fascinating thing what Pope has done with the fan base. I mean, this fan base just really had not been the same since COVID. And then I think this got it going again. I think even though we're 19 and 9, not a particularly special. Kentucky year, the fans still are just completely all in. Who's next?

Tyler is up next. Tyler, go ahead, Tyler. Hey, fellas. How are y'all? Keep that energy up, Tyler. What you got? Hey, I was going to see if y'all notice this because every game that drives me crazy. Kobe Barrea, every time he has the ball and he's going into a ball screen,

why is his automatic reaction every time he comes off that ball screen is to drive to the basket. If he's our best shooter, why isn't he thinking when I come off this screen, I'm just going to shoot this 30s? Well, I think in part appreciate the call, Drew, because guys have been slagging off, or, you know, excuse me, guys have been up on him, and he's gotten a lane. We've seen more Kobe Brayas successful drives to the basket in the last three games than we probably saw in the whole rest of the year combined.

So I actually don't mind it, to be honest with you. My bigger Kobe complaint is when he hasn't opened three, it's not as quick as he was early in the year. I don't know what's changed, but he takes a second. Sometimes he'll pump fake into the defense. If you have the smallest window, you just fire it. He's been hesitating a little bit lately. Again, only took 23-3s against Oklahoma.

Like, you know, we should be shooting 30 a game. I still don't understand. I'll never understand why this team is averaging like 25-3s in SEC play. When Pope himself said he wanted it to be close to 35 before the season, start. Do you think it's just the defenses? They're just doing so much to take that away. I think that's a little bit of it, but I just see a lot of guys hesitant to shoot. Like, I, I, it feels like to me, all these guys just are not as quick to shoot the ball as they were earlier in the year, and I don't really know why that is.

I want to add Andrew Carr to that group, too. I know he's not Kobe Bray or some of the guards, but man, when you're open, take it. He's another one that sometimes pump fakes me, doesn't have to pump fake, and it lets the defense say. Andrew Carr seems to only. shoot it if he's wide open. Like, take it, man. That was the Jay Williams, Batti, Dunle, V. Boozer. I think that's, I would put them ahead of us. I would actually put number two, the second Florida national team. After they had already won at the first year with no and all of them. He actually has them seventh, which is kind of surprising to me. He has second 2009 North Carolina. That's a team that beat, is that team that beat Villanova? No, wait a minute.

That was Tyler Hansboro, Ed Davis. Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington, Danny Green. That's a pretty good roster, but Hansborough was the best player. Yeah, I mean, that's a good team. I'm trying to even remember that championship game. I'm blanking out on it. I was going to say fifth when you were asking, so thanks for giving the answer. Maybe it looked good.

Yeah. I think third is right, but I would put us ahead of that Carolina team, but maybe behind that Florida. Because that Florida team was dominant, that second year. The first year they got kind of lucky, but the second year they were pretty dumb. You know what's crazy? There's been some other Kentucky teams that are better than I think even the number one team. It didn't even make the championship, you know?

I think the 2015 team, I will die on the hill. It was better than the team to want. Yeah. To me, I love Anthony. Anthony Davis' best player of my lifetime, but that 2015 team was better. We lost, but I think you could make an argument that if 2015 had finished that, they're the greatest team in college basketball since Indiana and the seven. Yeah, they're number one if they finish that game against Wisconsin.

Just the depth. There's never been a team to have that kind of depth. And they just blew people out. They didn't just win. They just blew them off the page. Remember that game we were at Chicago against UCLA? I don't remember the exact score, but it was something like 30 to 4, and they were just blocking every shot. They were up 21 to nothing and 30 to 4.

I mean, there's a lot of ice he had on that wrist, but I still think he'll give it a goal being number one team. I always hate when people do this, but I'm going to do it.

As someone who's recently had a wrist injury, it really can be day-to-day. There are days, especially when I was like going through the first couple months of it, there are days where I was in pain, didn't feel like I could even, move it. And then there were other days where I felt like if I wanted to go play golf, we were at Iowa, and I couldn't even shoot a basketball. It hurt too much. But then there were days that it felt better. I wonder if that's how it's going to be for him. It really will be kind of like day-to-day decision. I think so. And, you know, the Oklahoma game he missed these first couple shots. I thought, oh, that wrist probably hurting him. But then he hit a couple

shots. So I think he's definitely, if there's any way he can get on that court tomorrow, he's going to do it. A lot of it, from what I understood from mine is, you know, you have a lot of nerves in your hands right here, whether or not they get inflamed or whether or not they're swelling at the moment you're playing. It may have been the case that literally the other night, he just hit somebody's arm and it caused a nerve to just kind of move. And like, that may be what it is, honestly. And you know, guys, they're going to be swiping out of that risk. And Auburn's a good defensive team that with active hands, even if it's unintentional. I mean, anything can happen when you've got a wrist injury like that and guys are going for it. Now, Lamont Butler, I do

expect to play. He was in some foul trouble, but do you expect him to get, I mean, to beat Auburn, He's going to probably have to play a full game. Do you think he's going to do that? I think he's going to give it everything he can. You know, we saw a gutty performance from him Wednesday night. Another guy we've got to think about to Mari. Amari was limping off the court after the game. I mean, he may not be 100% either.

Yeah, don't talk to me about that. And Andrew Carr. We have had the worst luck with injuries this year. I mean, we really have. It's been one of the worst injury years I can think of in a long time. It's not even close. And then the other night when Amari minutes into the game, I think people like me, you just throw your hands in the air.

Like, what are we watching? This is insane. Yeah, a lot of people didn't see it. That's true. I was talking about Buzz and the reps at the monitor. I threw my arms there. So, this is insane. Hey, thank you all very much here at Lexington Sporting for having us.
