Starting point is 00:00:00 Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter.

Welcome to Hour 2 of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Now here's Matt Jones. Welcome back. Hour number two, Kentucky Sports Radio, 859-280-2287. Text machine 7-722-4. Lots of folks writing in giving us Milwaukee suggestions. I have three. Would you like to hear you give us a yay or nay on whether not you would want to do each one of these. Are you ready? Ready. Let's start.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Drew, the National Bobblehead Museum. I'll let someone else send me a postcard from there. So that's a no on the National Bobblehead Museum. Not during NCAA tournament weekend. All right. So no on that. Ryan. No.
Starting point is 00:03:48 I don't want to go to a Bobillhead Museum. No on the Bobblehead Museum. We're all a no on that. All right. Well, I'm trying. What that games going on? How about the Jeffrey Dahmer Walking Tour? God no. Oh my gosh. I forgot about that. He is from Milwaukee.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Yeah. Or it was. That's a hard pass on me too. Drew? Yeah, that's a no for me. Boy, you guys cannot be pleased in this place, right? How about Shakers? One of the three most haunted bars in America. They got the game on? I don't know. But it is a bar that has been said to be the most haunted of any drinking establishment in America. It is in Milwaukee. I'm taking that one.
Starting point is 00:04:29 As long as they got the game on, I'm good. I just want a beer and the games. I thought you all were all scared of ghosts. You want to go into a bar that's a haunted bar? Sure. I'll go. We stayed in the haunted hotel that one night. We like a haunted bar.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I feel like that one's speaking to me. I used to have a ghost. I like a good beer. I will check that one out. All right. So now we have one thing that we're all going to. We're going to go get burgers at cops. right and then go to the haunted bar we know we're going to do those things i have two of my own
Starting point is 00:05:03 recommendations having been also the old historic uh paps beer distillery is really cool they give tours uh it was a lot of fun you can spend a couple hours there okay and they have a big area called the milwaukee public market there's different restaurants in it had a really good uh brunch and some seafood there so i recommend that as well see look all kinds of good suggestions uh for all of you making the trip to Milwaukee. Plus it's a Friday, Sunday, so you can get up there a little bit later. I think it'll, I think it'll be good. 859-280-2287. I'm going to get to the to the phones here in just a second. Let me, I do want to, Ryan, you know, people sometimes like a little behind the scenes of this, of like the ESPN place. Like, I don't know about you,
Starting point is 00:05:46 but like Shannon, you and I talked about this. When we were kids, like it seemed like the coolest place on earth, right? To be in this building. It's still, Ryan, you came. It's an office park. You know what I mean? Like it's not, it's not where you think it is. It's in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere, you know? Yeah, I always thought it was like Disney World, just lights and whistles and bells and everything is going off. And it was, it is just an office building. It's just a massive office complex in the middle of a small town in Connecticut. And you can, you can come here. I mean, like, you'll, they give tours and stuff. But when you come in there, it is cool. You can walk by these sets. You know, Drew, there's a room, the sports center room, where like probably 50 to 75
Starting point is 00:06:33 producers are each in charge of a game and they're breaking down highlights. When I was a kid, I probably would have thought that's the coolest job you could have on earth. You know what I mean? To just sit there and watch games and make them into highlights. Think it sounds like work. Sounds like fun. It does sound like fun, doesn't it? You also, uh, the one thing that's made me sad, Shannon. You remember baseball tonight? I was going to bring this up, that field that was there. Okay. So baseball tonight, they have a studio, and from where you walk, you can look down on baseball tonight. I remember the first time I came here, it was like magical. You look down on baseball tonight and it had a field. You know, their studio was a field.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Here's the thing, though. You know, that show doesn't exist anymore. And I walked by it yesterday, and Shannon, it'll break your heart. The field is still the there, but they're using it for like storage of boxes. Oh, we got to bring back baseball tonight. It's one of the sadder things. Carl Ravage. Like that, like literally, it's like, it's like a storage area, but it still has the field from baseball tonight.
Starting point is 00:07:40 So that means, you know, in theory, they could still bring it back. In theory, they could. They can move all the boxes. But there's something about it when I walk by that it was really sad to me. Yeah. That's the thing that really stuck out, you know, in my mind from that visit was just looking down and seeing the field and how cool that was. And now you're telling me it's sad.
Starting point is 00:07:59 It is. It's actually a little bit sad. So that's the only bummer. This is only my second time being here since COVID. And that was the one thing that kind of stood out the most. Who's up next? Peggy. Peggy. Go ahead, Peggy.
Starting point is 00:08:14 Happy St. Patrick's Day, guys. Oh, that's right. Yes, happy St. Patrick's Day to you. Well, y'all touched on most everything I was going to talk about. but last night listening to everybody breaks down the bracket and stuff, I don't think any of them realized until Myron brought it up this morning that Lamont Butler is back and in full swing. Yeah, no one is picking us, Peggy.
Starting point is 00:08:41 I mean, we don't have the burden of expectation. Yeah, I mean, nobody was picking Kentucky only to win one, maybe two games, because they didn't realize Lamont was back. Yeah. Well, I think that's probably true, Peggy, and it's good to hear from it. I appreciate your call. Let's say we get Lamont and he's 100%, Drew. Where does that put us in your mind?
Starting point is 00:09:08 Like, do you like us to get to Elite 8, Sweet 16? Let's say Lamont's fully healthy. Oh, yeah. I would expect it at that point. It's just been so obvious the difference in Kentucky's defense. When he's on the court or on the bench, They didn't have them at Texas. We saw how that went.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I think if he's able to play and be at 100% or at least close to it, I'm fully expect and think they should win that first game and whoever's in the second game and then we'll see what happens from there. But he takes them to another level and having him is going to be very important. So are we – I mean, Ryan, are we as healthy as we – I know Trent Noah had like – was sick, but hopefully he'll be fine. Like, is there any – are we healthy now or as healthy as we're going to be? Well, I mean, there was also Andrew Carr would spend a lot of time on the bike in the Alabama game.
Starting point is 00:09:57 You know, I haven't heard anything. That was just for exercise in hell. The thing that everybody has been asking online is about Travis Perry. Is there anything about Travis Perry's hand? But, I mean, what was the, I kept seeing people asking me about the Travis Perry rumor, but I never saw what the rumor was or who it came from. That was a shooting hand. But who said that?
Starting point is 00:10:20 don't know. Again, that's just what everybody has been asking. That's the thing is like, I kept seeing people say that there was a rumor, but then I never saw the rumor. The rumor was there was an injury to his shooting hand. I know, but who said that? I don't know where it first came from. But I mean, doesn't that matter? I mean, like, doesn't the original place? You said you don't know the rumor. Without the original source, I mean, I could, you could just say anything. Like, I'm not saying it's true or not true. I have no idea. I've not heard that. He was at the thing yesterday. I don't think he had a brace on, did he?
Starting point is 00:10:53 I didn't see it. Travis Perry? One of the anonymous accounts that does memes is that they put it up like from a source. I think they've had, they've hit on some injury news in the past. That's where I think it originated. So there, it's an anonymous UK account.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Big Blue Bud, I think, was the first to report it. Okay. Well, I mean, I know what that account is. I mean, I guess I get. But like, did he have anything on his hand yesterday? I didn't notice anything. There was a moment in the Alabama game where it looked like he kind of landed on, landed awkwardly, but we never got a report out of that. Did he continue playing after that? I think he continued to play. But I'm just, if we're going to give any credibility to it to Big Blue Bud here, it did seem like. Did anybody ask Pope yesterday? You're the only one to talk to Pope.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I didn't know about Big Blue Bud's thing until late last night because everybody kept asking me and I was like, where is this from? And I didn't even know it was from Bud. Every time I hear Bud, I think of the Cosby show. Winnie Bud. So I don't, yeah, I don't know. I mean, I assume I guess will Pope do another media? Like, somebody can ask. I will say that's not an injury, Drew that I think would change the trajectory of the.
Starting point is 00:12:17 team do you if Lamont's healthy. Yeah, I mean, it'd be laughable that yet another player is injured on this team. And another point guard. And another point guard. Crazy. But as long as you're getting full Butler, I'm going, Butler to Chandler is plenty. Yeah. But it would be ridiculous. But Noah's now sick. Ortega O's face is still split in half. Robinson's out, Kerr's out. You know, it's ridiculous. Has anyone not been hurt? Our bigs are like the only guys that haven't been hurt. Oh, don't jigs them. Don't jigs them. Don't jigs them. Talk on something. I stop.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Even Colin Chandler had blood ripping down his face in the first game. It's Oklahoma. Colin got split open. By the way, I do have to say before we go to the phone, Friday, that pregame show, Ryan, at Tenroof, have we ever had a wilder environment for a KSR show before than that pregame show at Tenroof Friday night? I told you guys during the show. I said, this is the hardest show we've ever had to do because it was a zoo in there for that pregame show. It was total chaos.
Starting point is 00:13:16 That woman is still trying to get the TV turned over on the right channel. People who don't know if you didn't hear the show. This woman came up to the stage during the show and just asked me to turn the television to a different game. And like legitimately, A, thought I could, and B thought I would stop the show to make sure I turned the game on it. She was oblivious that you were even doing a show. She just thought you were up there talking to yourself with a headset on.
Starting point is 00:13:45 She kept screaming. you're in charge. You're in charge. Turn the channel. Where's your universal remote? She kept acting like it was first of all my bar. Like I was in charge of the tin roof. And then she kept saying like, you know, turn it. And I just kept looking at her like, what are you talking about me? I'm doing a show. And she just kept doing it. And by the way, I never turned it because of Shannon, I didn't have the ability to turn. Yeah. The BAC level was high in that one. Yes. Morgan from Ten Roof told me after he goes, this is like what it used to be.
Starting point is 00:14:20 In the old Cal's early days, we started doing our show there. He goes, it felt good to get back to that level of craziness again. Oh, it was definitely that crazy. Part of it was there, but he was hammered. I mean, absolutely hammered. Can I also say on Saturday night, Drew, I actually had fun at the Kid Rock Bar, which is something I never thought I would say. Why are you laughing, Mario, just started laughing it as soon as you said Kid Rock Bar.
Starting point is 00:14:43 Were you with him? Yeah, that's a great time. I gave Kid Rock more money than I care to admit. I have to say, I was not drinking whiskey from the bottle, but there were people doing it. My group was insane. I don't know what Mario's laughing about. Mario hit another level as well. I mean, Mario, I learned only human being I've ever seen Shannon can't blow bubbles.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Really? It does not have the ability to blow bubbles. Someone there had a little bubble thing. He physically cannot blow bubbles, which I don't. don't know how that happens. He never learned it, I guess. Have you ever met a person who couldn't blow a bubble? No. No. I don't mean like, she'll go. Like, like blowing through the little hole that has the stuff, couldn't do it. Couldn't do it. I don't understand how you can't do that. He just watched the video of Mario. He can't. Just blow too hard? Just can't do it. Who's next?
Starting point is 00:15:37 Let's go to Mark Anthony. Mark Anthony. How are you? Hey, good morning, Matthew, Ryan, Drew, Shannon, and Mario. A, uh, fellas Matthew from a month ago, I was just open, just coach, get me through the first weekend this time, please. And Lamont Butler and Andrew Carr,
Starting point is 00:15:55 notwithstanding, I think we can get through the first game. The second game, I'm feeling pretty good about it. And if we can do those two things and maybe meet a team, we've already beat twice to go to the elite eight, I'm feeling great. Y'all have a good day.
Starting point is 00:16:11 We're talking to you later. I appreciate the call, Mark, Anthony. They always say you can't beat a team three times. Just happened. Well, Ryan Alabama did it. So, you know, maybe you can't. The Richmond Road Vet Clinic has BBN pets. If you have a furry friend that's part of the BBN family, you can be in the ultimate fan club for your pet.

Starting point is 00:16:57 They kept my dogs while we were in Nashville, matter of fact. They boarded my dogs. That was very nice. I mean, I can't believe I had fun at the Kid Rock Bar. They played that song. What's that loop comb song? Sunday morning I bur-d-de-p-do-do-dur-dur. Did you have your cowboy hat on?
Starting point is 00:17:13 No, it was raining. Like a true cowboy, I couldn't wear it in a rain. I got a picture of Mario wearing a white cowboy head. He was having fun. Oh, nice. What's that song? He's like, got a hooters, waiters number. Is it when it rains, it pours?
Starting point is 00:17:27 Yes, they played that. And I'm going to tell you, it was way too fun. Like, I don't know why that song was so fun, but it was. We'll be right back. Last night, a blown call changed the game. This morning, the internet lost its mind. Highlights are trending, opinions are flying, and nobody's telling you,
Starting point is 00:17:43 exactly what happened. That's where SportsSlice comes in. I'm Timbo. Every episode, we're cutting through the noise. Trip Fontaine, Ryan Clark. Sometimes when we're in the pursuit of the thing, we get so wrapped up in the chase that we don't realize that we are in possession of the thing.
Starting point is 00:18:52 And we're still chasing it. And we don't know when we've done enough. Because people scoreboard watch. Life becomes about wins and losses. Steve Burns, Dustin Ross. Because you find it important to be a good person while you hear on earth? Are you a good person because you're afraid? Because that's two different intentions, bro.
Starting point is 00:19:08 Absolutely. And that's two different levels of trust. I want you to just really be a good person. Join me, Keer Gaines, as we have real conversations about healing, growth, fatherhood, pressure, and purpose on my new podcast, Learn the Hardway. Open your free Our Heart Radio app.

On Hurtle with Emily Abadi, we sit down with the most inspiring women in sports and wellness. Professional athletes, coaches, and Olympic champions to talk about the challenges that shaped them and the mindset that keeps them going from the WMBA standout Kate Martin and rising hockey star Layla Edwards.
Starting point is 00:19:48 If a boy can do it, I don't see why a girl can't. Like, I've never understood that. Like, it didn't make sense in my brain. It's hard to be in spaces that no one looks like you, but don't ever feel like you don't feel on. Don't let that be the reason you don't do it. An Olympic champs, Gabby Thomas and Katie Ledecki. The ability to show gold medal to someone and have their face light up and smile, that
Starting point is 00:20:08 means the world to me, and that's what motivates me to win more gold medals. At our level, at this scale, like being able to fail in front of the entire world. Like, I can do anything. I can do anything. Because resilience isn't just about winning. It's about showing up, even when it's hard. Listen to Hurtle with Emily Abadi on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Jacob Kingston grew up in an isolated polygamous sect. We were God's chosen kingdom on earth. He felt destined for greatness. So when a swaggering Armenian businessman catapults Jacob into an extraordinary world, he doesn't look back. Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, meeting the president of Turkey. I'm Michelle McPhee, and this is one of the most shocking criminal conspiracies I've ever come across. When Jacob met Levin this went to a billion-dollar fraud. But with two kings from entirely different worlds, just how long can their empire survive?
Starting point is 00:21:15 The largest tax investigation in American history. You need to tell me what you know. Is somebody coming after me? Jacob told Levan, you're ruining my life. Listen to Kingdom of Fraud on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm dying here See there you go Shannon right
Starting point is 00:21:43 It's all right No I mean It doesn't It's different though When like A slightly overweight man Is standing on the bar playing it It's more fun
Starting point is 00:21:52 It is Turn it up right here And you'll see what I'm saying Like he gets going And then I looked over Drew was like Pointing at people Mario was doing that thing
Starting point is 00:22:03 Where he bangs his head You know Yeah he's head banging to this He's head banging And though he does that thing where he like head bangs and then throws his arms up and down. And it's like, right here you go. And like everybody's going crazy. It was actually kind of fun.
Starting point is 00:22:18 I didn't expect Drew. It was going to be fun and it was. Oh, I'm embarrassed to admit how much time I spent in that place and how much money I spent that place. But I'd go back again. I think, you know, I don't like Kid Rock. But of all the Nashville bars, it's some of the best live music. That's why we're enjoying it so much. Probably right.
Starting point is 00:22:34 I got on the mic, Shannon, and said, Where all my Kamala Harris voters? No, I didn't do. You would have made it out of there if you'd done that. Yeah, I thought about it, though. I was like, I say bye, you say done, bye. They'd be saying bye, all right. They would have.
Starting point is 00:22:54 They would have been like, get out of here. Get out of here. 859-280-2287. I don't want to say this, Ryan, because I'm at ESPN, but I'm sitting here looking on the, because I have a TV. They have these TVs in front. me like every channel it is the day after the brackets and stephen a smith and shannon sharp
Starting point is 00:23:12 and kendrick perkins are talking about j bicker staff the pistons coach being critical of the refs after a loss of the thunder how are they not talking about the tournament read the room man who wants to see that right now like the tournament the bracket is out people who don't even care about sports care about the bracket right i don't understand how that's the topic today the NCAA tournament in March Maddance is the best thing in all of sports. The single best weeks are coming up right now. Why are you talking about some meaningless NBA game? So apparently Jack Pilgrim, Drew, said on sources say he works for a place called Kentucky Sports
Starting point is 00:23:47 Radio, that Perry hurt, like jammed his hand, and that's why he missed the free throws during the game, but that he would play. So there you go. It's a good update. Or not a good. I guess it's kind of good update, but just one more name to the list. How many more point guards are we going to get hurt this season? Well, Darby Shire's hurt and then Walker Horn.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Walker Horns out. The kid from Madisonville, he's got to hang it. Put him in the game. One after another. Let's go, Zach. All right, who's next? Let's go to Nancy. Nancy, go ahead, Nancy.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Hey, guys. Okay, so I, like every other Kentucky fan, we're hoping to go to Indy because I have two tickets for Friday. So I'm crossing my fingers. I'm going to go. If we play, like, again, if you were at that Kentucky Louisville game in 2014, that's one of the more electric environments for a postseason game, I can imagine. I don't know if Kentucky, Tennessee would hit quite that, but I think it would be close. Well, let's hope they get through there.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Okay, my other question is, Duke and Louisville played in the tournament, the final. Who are you all cheering for? and I'll hang up and listen. This year? So this year? Yes. Yeah. Saturday night.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Yeah, I appreciate the call. Oh, you mean, oh, in the ACC term. I thought you meant the, okay, I thought you meant the NCAA term. I didn't really care in the ACC tournament. I probably, I didn't care, honestly. So I probably would have slightly picked Duke, but didn't matter. Now, the NCAA tournament, Drew, I don't know. What would you do if you had to cheer in that game?
Starting point is 00:25:36 that's a terrible scenario killing the mood here I guess I would have lean Duke I don't even like thinking about having any kind of
Starting point is 00:25:45 support behind Duke but I think against Louisville I'd slightly go towards the Blue Devils I can't listen to I mean again for me it's all about ranking of rivals
Starting point is 00:25:53 right and right now Louisville's always going to be number one Tennessee is two Duke is three and then there's the caveat of I don't want Cal
Starting point is 00:26:03 to win one at Arkansas but I guess I'd Ryan I guess I'd have to root for Duke right it's kind of funny at the ACC championship I was actually hoping Louisville would win but if they meet in the NCAA I'm flipping I'm picking Duke over Louvre
Starting point is 00:26:17 I don't want to be the championship yeah it would have to be the championship Louisville's not going to make it out of the second round if they get past Creighton so we don't have to worry about that yeah that's that's a good question are we all are rooting for St. John are you rooting for St. John's just in general like I'm I'm moving for the outrunners to beat them in the first round
Starting point is 00:26:33 but after that, after that, I'm rooting for them. I mean, would you root for them all the way until if they would have had to potentially play us? I have them in my final four. Do you really? Yeah, I mean, I think they can make a run out of that bracket. If you had told me, Drew Franklin, three years ago, I'd be rooting for Rick Petino to make a final four. I thought that was crazy, but I think I am. I'm the same way.
Starting point is 00:27:00 I'm going to go for Omaha as much as I want to see Cal versus Rick in round two. The outrunners and the trash can team of Omaha, I'm going to pull through them. But then for the rest of that entire region, I guess the one's Florida. I don't really want Florida to get a follow for. You know, Omaha's coach is from Hopkinsville, too. Their head coach is from Hopkinsville. They are, yes. By the way, congrats to Sacred Heart who won their 19th straight state championship this weekend.
Starting point is 00:27:25 How many of is that team won? I mean, it's three in a row, and it's been them and GRC each year, it seems like. We got to get some more teams. involved in that. Like there's two, they win too much. No offense to Sacred Heart. I'm sure they're all wonderful people. But we just, Ryan, they got to get somebody else to win these games. Well, they've got to, Zikaia Johnson's been the best player in the state last three years since she's a sophomore. She finally graduated now. She's going to LSU, right? Going to LSU, correct. And it's five in a row, not three in a row. Is it five and a while? That's how big the
Starting point is 00:27:53 dynasty is. So next year we may get a different team. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. Tough. I guess you don't have the scouting report for the Sacred Heart basketball team next year. Who's next? John. John, go ahead, John. Hey, Matt, first time, long time. Who are? What's up?
Starting point is 00:28:11 Hey, last night, our church had a gathering. We're able to bring Tony Delk in to kind of talk to him about his time in UK. Can't say enough about him. He was incredible, told all kinds of incredible stories. But it got me going a lot of nostalgia thinking about the old 96th. And since we're in March Madness looking through the brackets, I've wondered if you guys could share maybe your favorite. Tony Delk moment when he played and maybe just the moment from 96.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I'll give you a good Tony Delft moment from Friday night. I snuck up behind him. He was stated on the court to give him a hard time. And he just, his natural reflex, Ryan, was to like stick out his elbow. And he elbowed me in the ribs and I was out for the game. Oh, my. And still has sharp elbows at 50 years old. So that would be my memory.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Dude, yeah, the final championship game, when he hit that three in the corner and he got fouled right in front of the Kentucky bench, that's the Tony Duck memory everybody has. He had his shoulders all, you know, Drew, it looked like his shoulders were up at his ears when he played, but he was awesome. Oh, yeah. Remember for the long arms, personally, I went to that basketball camp, and I remember he's one of the first players I saw, and that's back when they're just superheroes to you and
Starting point is 00:29:25 him being very nice and go with all of those youngsters. It's a little different now because a lot more guys do it because they score more points, but for a while he was like the most random guy to get 50. an NBA game. Correct. Like it was like so random he did, but he did. We'll take a break right back. KS.R. T.J. Smith, personal injury attorney.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Call T.J. He'll make them pay. Now, more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Here's Matt Jones. Now, Ryan, I like to keep you up with the trends. Yes, you're a trendy person. Oh, without question. Do you know, turn it up, Sham?
Starting point is 00:30:00 Now, do you know about the trend with this, Ryan? I have no clue. Because I'm going to get Mario to when we're in Milwaukee try to get you to do this. Okay. So there's like a video I think from like the fresh prints back in the day with what was the young girl on the show Tatiana Ali. Ali, yes correct. Right. And she's like, there's a scene that's kind of famous where she's got her headphones on. Yes. And she's dancing and she doesn't think anybody's behind her. And then Will Smith walks in and he like mocks her dancing. Right. I can do it. I've seen. I know you're talking about. I'm all over it. Wait, hang on just a second. You can do it.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Oh, yeah, I can do what Will Smith was doing. He's kind of lurching forward and lurching back. Like he was a great dancer. He's not just lurching forward. He's like moving his feet and he's doing other thing. You think you can do that? Oh, yeah, I think I can do it better than he can. But Ryan Cook.
Starting point is 00:30:51 All right, I don't think that's true. How do you know the scene, by the way? I saw something on social media last night where he... Okay, so you saw it, right? Yeah. So he does know the trend, Shannon. Yeah. Okay, so that video's from a long time ago,
Starting point is 00:31:03 and I guess it went viral with this song. Because this is a newer song, I think, Shannon, right? Yeah. They were acting like this is what she was listening to. Now, I guess, a grown-up Tatiana Ali, a grown-up Will Smith, and then this woman's name is like, do she? Is that her name? Yep, I think so.
Starting point is 00:31:24 You'll be careful, yeah. Sounds douchey to me. Is that not her name or is it? D-O-E-C-H-I-I, however you would pronounce that. How do you pronounce that, Drew? Do-H? I bet it's doci. I like your pronounce the Asian better.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I think it's probably doji. I think I got that wrong. That's okay. So, Doshi, and they recreate the video. And it is on pace, Ryan, to be the most liked TikTok ever in the history of all time. Really? So like everyone should know this, even by mom should know. This is about to be the most liked TikTok video of all time.
Starting point is 00:32:02 And it's just them recreating this scene. from the fresh prince of Bel Air. So, Ryan, I wanted to tell you that news. I'll do Will Smith. You can do the young girl, and Drew can do the dancer, doji. Doji. Well, all three do it. I'll be dozy.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Yes. So Drew, most liked video of all time, it's probably going to hit that like tomorrow. Well, if a TikTok lands on Ryan Lemon's radar, you know it is really taken off. I saw Will Smith said he waited 35 years for that dance to start trending. So it is everywhere. Wow, I can't believe Ryan heard it. I mean, Shannon, like, of all that, like, Ryan, you don't even have Instagram.
Starting point is 00:32:42 I have Instagram. I don't have TikTok. Yes. I think I saw it on Instagram last night. That's the other thing. So how did you see it? I think it was on my Instagram feed last night. I think if I don't think that's where I saw it.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Oh, okay. So I got all the way to your dial up Facebook. Uh-huh. Yeah. If you had a clue four hours ago, he would have not had a clue what you're talking about. Not a clue. I got a fax of the video. It was like, wow, this is, this must really be going. Okay, well, so if you've never seen that, then you might be just a little disconnected because it is about to become the most liked social media video of all time.
Starting point is 00:33:15 There's a couple open lines. Bob and Jamestown is on the phone, Shannon, so please let's other folks get on. 859-280-2287. Every year, Drew, there are four versus 13 and five versus 12 upsets. I think there's the potential for a lot of them this year, is there. They're one that will be your Drew Franklin pick. I think so, and they're in the same pod. Watch out for Will Wade playing Clemson.
Starting point is 00:33:44 I know we lost the Clemson, but they were in the ACC where they weren't very challenged very often. And McNeese is a good team. They've got the best manager in college basketball that will hype them up. Yeah, that dude's great. That dude's great if you haven't seen him, yeah. I haven't officially filled out my bracket yet, but that's the 12-5-5-5 circle and then right beneath it.
Starting point is 00:34:02 High Point quietly has one of the best office. offenses in college basketball. They get like 83 points a game playing a Purdue team. We know Purdue like to choke in March Madness. So I would watch that as a 13-4. You hit mine right there. Mine is high point over Purdue. High point is good. I was going to pick them over anybody that wasn't us in there. And they ended up getting a 13. Purdue has lost in the last few years to both Fairley Dickinson and St. Peter's. People forget they lost to St. Peter's the year we did, Ryan. People forget that. They always think about ours, but they beat Purdue in the Sweet 16.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I like high point. Another thing I'll note, Ryan, is that Colorado State is the 12 playing against Memphis as the five, and Vegas has Colorado State is the favorite. Oh, I didn't know that. Vegas has Colorado State as a two and a half point favorite
Starting point is 00:34:50 in that game. I think most of us probably watched Memphis and UAB yesterday, because it came on after the SEC championship game. They didn't look that strong, but I had no idea there would be an underdog being a five seed. So who's your big upset, Ryan? I'm going to pick Liberty over Oregon. That's who I had.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Liberty's point guard is Colin Porter from Ashland, Kentucky, and they can play. They've got like three kids from Kentucky on the team. They have a bunch of kids from Kentucky. So I am picking Liberty over Oregon. Liberty over Oregon, high point over Purdue, and then McNeice over, who does? Clemson. Those are the ones that the KSR likes. Who's next?
Starting point is 00:35:30 Let's go to Jake. Jake, how are you, Jake? I'm good. I'm just thinking you should tell people to, when they have something wrong with the app, not to uninstall it and reinstall it and reinstall it because now I can never get back on it again. No, go to, Jake, on three sports.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Download that one and set your team to Kentucky, and you'll have it. Do what? Why would I want to do that? Because that's how you get that KSR app. We go to On3 Sports, that app, download it. Yeah. And the Kentucky section is KSR.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Okay. I'll try that. Try that. Thank you, sir. You're very welcome. So that's, yes. I'm completely shut out of I heart anyway. What do you mean you're shut out of out of I heart?
Starting point is 00:36:44 Are you banned from I heart? No. I just, they won't let me back home. They say I don't have an account with them anymore. Well, but you don't have to have an account. You just have to download the IHeart app
Starting point is 00:36:57 and just hit WLAP and we're on. You don't need an account. But when you set up your library, you have to have an account. You don't need a library. Just just hit. just hit KSR. You don't need a library. You don't need to do any of that. You just need to go on there and just hit KSR and you're good. Okay. Thank you, Jake. It's very helpful. I think you were
Starting point is 00:37:30 helpful to him. I think you'll have it figured out by the weekend. I think I should do, Shannon, a tech support, don't you? Yeah, I think you'd be really helpful. I think I was, I was patient. I understood the problem. Yeah. Tried to fix it. Troubleshoot. Troublet. I'm taking a risk here. Who's next? I got a couple of different options now. We'll try Billy and Milwaukee. All right, Billy and Milwaukee.
Starting point is 00:37:56 All right, good. Go ahead, Billy. Hey, guys, I just am super excited about the cats coming to Milwaukee. And I don't know if you have a place figured out yet where you need to stay, but my parents would be happy to host you guys. They got a couple of guest rooms. My boyhood bedroom has a small twin bed and super comfortable. and Friday night, my parents are going to be cooking pierogies.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Oh, that's good. All they ask for in exchange is it got just a bunch of firewood that they'd really love to get moved. And I feel like to do you guys. No, we'll burn it. Quick work of it. I think it's super comfortable. So just let me know. First of all, I don't, I wish you had made this call because our bosses at our heart will hear that and go,
Starting point is 00:38:42 well, it sounds like you have a place to stay. So you don't need to pay for it. You know, I think your parents are lovely people. I don't know if they would want five of us in their house. So I feel like we'll probably pass. But if they want to give us, what is a pierogi? Parogi? I don't even know how to describe it.
Starting point is 00:39:05 It's like a little, it's like a, I don't know, like mashed potatoes in a, like a noodle almost. It's like a little dumpling. How do you not know what a parogi is? Well, first of all. You don't seem like you know when you tell me it's like it's mashed potatoes. I guess I've never been tasked. Like that's like asking like what's a hamburger? You like you don't think you'd say to you hamburger is beef between bread with condiments.
Starting point is 00:39:30 What is a pierogi? No one else on the show knows what? I've never heard of it. I've had pierogies as recently as last week. So how would you describe it? Thank you. He's right. It's a dumpling.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Usually with like mashed potatoes inside. Maybe a little cheese. I think you can put some meat in it, but usually I think it's a potato filling. So, yeah, if your parents would like to make us parogis, I would love to eat them, but I'm not going to stay at their house. No promise on the firewood either. I think you just made the case to stay with my parents because then you get to figure out what you're not going to stay with your parents.
Starting point is 00:40:03 But I would, if they would like to make parogis, and then I can get Shannon and Mario to go move the firewood. No, no, we'll burn the wood. Okay. All right. Thank you very much, sir. I like that call. That was good.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Hey, the 2025 college basketball bracket contest for my heart is sponsored by Salceritas. You can win up to a million dollars. It's a lot of money. Go to wlap.com and fill out your bracket. So wlap.com, it's a college basketball mayhem bracket contest sponsored by our good friends at Salceritas. Who do you have winning in your brackets, by the way, guys?
Starting point is 00:40:40 I went chalk and have Auburn. I feel like they're going to be mad. What about you? I haven't officially committed to anything yet. But you've got to commit now. I know I am. I don't want to say Auburn because it's so chalk, but I just think they're so much better.
Starting point is 00:40:56 They've lost three or four. I mean, they've lost three of four at this point. They've gone the wrong way since getting the belts out in Lexington, turning the wrong direction. I'm going to take Florida, Shannon. I think they're playing better than anybody, and they've got, you know, they got the guards.
Starting point is 00:41:11 And in March, I like the guard. So I'm taking Florida. I got an all Alabama final. Auburn in Alabama, Auburn for the third time. Wow, that's interesting. Auburn winning. Did you like Florida cutting the nets without needing a ladder? That dude, okay.
Starting point is 00:41:26 That dude, have you ever seen a dude cut a net without a ladder? No, but I haven't seen a lot of seven foot nine guys either. That was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life. Seven foot nine does not need a ladder to cut the net. Amazing. And yet he can't get in the game. He's redshirted, right? He's sitting out this season.
Starting point is 00:41:47 So you think you'd have room for a 7-9 guy to play right away. I remember walking past him. I intentionally walked through their warm-ups in Ruff Arena just to get as close to him as possible, just to even see that that kind of human can exist. And it's crazy to see. Quite a sight. Hey, yeah, if you're looking for new furniture appliances are bad, Pirats, locally owned and operated furniture mattress store right in Lexington,

If a boy can do it, I don't see why a girl can't. Like, I've never understood that. Like, it didn't make sense in my brain.
Starting point is 00:44:48 It's hard to be in spaces that no one looks like you, but don't ever feel like you don't belong. Don't let that be the reason you don't do it. An Olympic champs Gabby Thomas and Katie Ladecki. The ability to show a gold medal to someone and have their face light up and smile, that means the world to me. And that's what motivates me to win more gold medals.

Listen to Kingdom of Fraud on the Aihart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. We have a rare double breaking news, Shannon. Rani Na Na Na! Now do it again.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Running a nah! All right. First, the University of Kentucky will be one of six teams. CBS goes behind the scenes with at the NCAA tournament for the NCAA tournament confidential TV series. What do we think about that? History has not been kind to Kentucky when they go behind the scenes and do stuff like that. I hope it's not a distraction is the first thing not thought.
Starting point is 00:47:08 Yeah, the year Cal did it, we went to the NIT, if you remember. and then we did it during football and that's not going to be good. Netflix wrote me and asked if they could use some of our clips for their series from the football. And it wasn't clips of things where we were happy.
Starting point is 00:47:26 I don't know a lot to be happy about. So that's number one. It'll be cool at least, Drew, though, right? It will be cool. I'm glad they're doing it. But I have to note that we were March Madness Confidentials, one of their six teams, the St. Peter's year, as well. So we've done this once before and made it
Starting point is 00:47:44 not even to the next second game. If we lose in the first round again, we never again. Never again. All right. Second, the West Virginia governor has a press conference scheduled for noon announcing a lawsuit against the NCAA for West Virginia not making the tournament. Wow.
Starting point is 00:48:01 I mean, that's good, no, but it's not going to change anything or deal with this tournaments. It's not good at all. It's not, it's terrible. Like I said, it's not going to change anything. The tournament starts in a couple of days. It's a waste of money. isn't it? Time and money.
Starting point is 00:48:13 They're not going to change the tournament because of this guy. How stupid. But, you know, he might be getting some votes from it. You know, I'm going to do this for our state. I will say, if we didn't make the tournament and Andy Bashir filed lawsuit, I'd be like, Andy, come on, man. I would. Like, I love, I mean, I love the tournament, but we, that's dumb. Didn't Florida State do that for the football?
Starting point is 00:48:33 Yeah. What do you think about the picture of Bill Belichick, Drew, doing yoga on the beach with his girlfriend, holding her up in the air with his feet. Bill's just not shined away from any of this. He knows he's a joke, but he's just going to keep doing whatever she wants. Take pictures if you need to. He's happy to be with someone one-third of his age. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:58 Or Bill Bealecicke, absolutely I would. I'm not hating on it at all. Good for him, man. Shannon is the most pro person I've seen in the media on this relationship. I'm happy for him. Here's the thing. Everybody else is just jealous. They don't have her.
Starting point is 00:49:11 what it is. I mean, if at his age, he can get her. Do you don't think it's at all weird? I mean, I'm not saying it's not weird, but I'm happy for him. Good for him. I'm not mad about it. But you would do the picture? Anything she wanted. Can I recreate that picture? Can we recreate that picture in Milwaukee with you and Mario? No, Mario doesn't look like her. Lakefront before 9 p.m. We're doing it. Lakefront before 9 p.m. If she wants to get her and Mario should recreate that picture. I think it would be the second most like TikTok of all time behind Will Smith.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Who's next? Bob and James Town. Bob and James Town. Call number of 716. There you go, Matt. You want some excitement in Bristol. You want some excitement in Bristol, Otis Elevator at a 30-story test hour. Now, you go over there and tell them that, you know, Russ and Rabbit Hash, Kentucky's retired.
Starting point is 00:50:09 I don't know what any of these. What's the means, Shannon? Well, that makes two of us. Otis elevators in Bristol, Rabbit Hash. What are you taught? The brackets just came out, Bob. I know, but Bristol has a Otis elevator test tower, 30-story elevator test tower. I mean, you can see it from everywhere in Bristol.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Go tell them that you know Russ from Rabbit Hash, Kentucky. He's my lake neighbor retired elevator man. But what is it? What are they going to do? I'm just going to get on an elevator. Yeah, you take a ride on that 30-story elevator all the time. I've been on, I was on an elevator just last week that was like 60 stores. Well, the test, test hour.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Anyway, is Mark Pope going to try to get some healthy young guys in a transfer portal to build this team back up? Appreciate the call. You know, the ladies of KSR Facebook page, which I, encourage all our female listeners to get on. But the only thing they seem to get mad at me about is they say I mean to Bob and James Dale. But he calls about the Otis Elevators Test Elevator in Bristol and Russ from Rabbit Hash. Drew, what am I supposed to do?
Starting point is 00:51:29 Am I just supposed to act like that's a normal phone call? Well, I would say you're supposed to go test out this elevator now. You should take Bob's advice. I mean, you're in Bristol, Matt. How many times they have to test it? I feel like a few runs. and it's good. I mean, what's the attraction here? And they're, like, he said 34, Shannon, there's bigger buildings than 30 floors.
Starting point is 00:51:51 Yeah, but you don't want to fall 30 floors if it doesn't test. Yeah. It doesn't work, you know? Well, maybe there's a lot of people who've been there. I don't know. Court physical therapy. Ask for Russ. 70 locations around the state.
Starting point is 00:52:05 If you ask for Russ, they'll give you the best physical therapy, get you without pain, feeling good, stretched out. everything you know. It's court physical therapy, K-O-R-T.com. There's no reason to be in pain in the new year. Most insurance will pay for it at court physical therapy. I'm excited, Ryan, for this week. Are you? Mark, this is the best week of the year, man. Games all day, Thursday, Friday. I love this time of year. We're going to get things set up in Milwaukee today. If you guys are making the trip, we'll definitely do a pregame show publicly on Friday. I don't know about besides that, still trying to get everything situated. We will be at the bar tomorrow. Wednesday, so Tuesday and Wednesday. So come
Starting point is 00:52:44 see us. I'm excited. Been a fun travel. Thank you all very much, especially those of you who listened last night on ESPN. A lot of great feedback. It was cool to have all you all make the time. Go visit Russ at the test elevator site in Bristol and we will see you tomorrow morning. This is me at Kentucky Sports Radio.
