Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite.
Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and Friends.
Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel,
help an a cappella band with their between songs banter.
Where does your group perform?
We do some retirement homes.
Those people are starving for banter.

Welcome to Hour 2 of Kentucky Sports Radio, presented by Stockton Mortgage.
Now, here's Matt Jones.
All right, welcome back.
Kentucky Sports Radio, live on the road today at Clark's Pump and Shop on Nicholasville Road,
just south of Brandon Crossing and south of Man of War by the new Long John Silver's.
come on out and join us.
We've got a lot of free giveaways and things we're giving away out here.
But we're joined by two superstars right now.
Give it up.
Volleyball superstars, Brooklyn Delay, and Molly Tuzzo are here.
Talk to us about it.
You guys, I mean, you talk about elevating a program.
UK volleyball now synonymous with the best teams in the country.
That's kind of make you feel good to know you're a bit of part of something like that.
Yes, it does.
That's awesome.
Speaking of the best teams in the country, we just started the season recently,
and I feel like you all are trying to play every.
team that's ranked. I know you all didn't build the schedule, but when Coach Skinner puts that in
front of you, is it excitement? Is it like, oh my goodness, here we go? I mean, what's the thought
process of really running the gauntlet with all these ranked teams so early in your season?
I mean, a little bit of both. It's so exciting, but he's always big on you got to play the best
to beat the best. So I think it's good to play them early on, get that experience, deals with,
like, the adversity and the tough losses and the exciting win. So I think he does it every year,
and we're excited for it every single time.
win the one against Nebraska, even though that was an awesome one to watch. That crowd was fun,
even though it was mostly Nebraska. But playing the number one team like that, is there any just
taken away that you're able to hang? Are you all so competitive that it's just we didn't win?
Or is there a little bit of that was number one and we were right there with them?
I mean, that was one of our first games, so you learn a lot from those losses, but also it just
prepares you for the very end because like that crowd was like no other. I mean, our Husker
Nation always shows out every time. So you're just prepared for, I mean, the tournament
going forward. Molly, you mentioned
you played Nebraska first. Then your
next game should be like a cupcake.
You got number two Penn State next.
I mean, I guess that helped you
though, knowing you just played the number one team.
Not intimidated by going to play the number two team
on their home floor when they were raising their championship
banners that night. Yeah, it fired us up. That was an exciting game.
So to get that win and especially a sweep on
their super tough crowd, it was incredible.
Speaking of getting fired up, there's no sport like
volleyball where you all root each other
on. I mean, every time some
something happens, it's let's huddle, let's cheer. You're always pumping something up,
pumping each other up. Does that come natural with the sport, or is that something you
are constantly looking to do? Because there's nothing like the cheering for each other, like when
the volleyball teams doing it. I mean, it just kind of goes along with the sport. Like, it is a momentum
sport, so you kind of have to build that for yourself, and you just got to come together after
every point to figure out what you're going to do going forward, and just, yeah, you really
just come together and play for each other. You know, you guys have been here, both been here for a
couple years. How have you seen the support
grow since you guys have had this success? We see
it at KS. Bar. We have a watch part. Johnny will come up
and make sure the game's on a
KS Bar and people will come and watch you guys play
Nebraska there. Brooklyn,
talk about that. How have you seen it grow since you've been here?
I mean, it's just insane, like the crowds.
There's almost a new record every year.
I mean, Nebraska had the
world record, I think it was. So it's just cool that more
people are understanding the game and just following along.
because even like we're getting broadcasted on ESPN which is really cool that's never been done before as well
and Kentucky's had some success before you all got here and if not mistaken you're Kansas Texas not exactly local when you're going through your recruitment
Kentucky have that brand power is that a big part of why you considered it not even I think it's just the culture of this place is amazing that's such a big family and I think
being so far from home as soon as I got here I was just like this is where I want to be this is my family so it was definitely the
culture that was the main reason the new historic Memorial Coliseum I know you've already
had a year but that's pretty fancy too I guess it wasn't ready when you were
being recruited but did you have a pretty good understanding of what you'd be
playing in while you were considering your college choices I did pretty nice
place huh so you guys gonna fill it to this weekend you got your home opener
3 o'clock tomorrow you play SMU I said are they any good top 10
top 10 right and then you play Houston on Sunday so you got back-to-back home game
Saturday, Sunday, so finally got some home games, and we can kind of see you guys
and live and in person this weekend.
Oh, yeah.
I want to ask about Coach Skinner before we move on to you all playing the next top
team.
I think you all might play like Russia next week, Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night football.
But what's, Craig Skinner, we've been following him for years.
He obviously has a great program.
Been winning the SEC seems like every year.
Seems like the nicest guy ever, too.
What's he like behind the scenes as a coach?
I know you all have to be fond of him.
I mean, he's just awesome.
He honestly just feels like a second dad to all of us.
You know he's going to be there, have your back,
and you can just put your full trust into him because he knows what he's talking about.
And he just, I mean, he has the experience and the accolades behind him.
So he's just awesome.
I'll put you on the spot.
If he wasn't a volleyball coach, what do you think Craig Skinner would be doing?
Playing golf?
Yeah.
I don't know.
Yeah, he's a great golfer.
There we go.
Pro golfer.
PGA star-Stra.
He was a kicker at Michigan, right?
In college.
Yeah, he was a college kicker.
in Michigan.
But he alone has kind of helped.
This has been his baby to build it up from nothing, you know.
So I don't he takes great pride in it.
What is he like as a coach?
Is he a hard ass or is he?
You don't have to answer that directly.
No, I think he is whenever he needs to be, but he kind of lets us figure it out on our own,
which is we honestly really appreciate.
But I think there's times whenever he needs to be, and we support that.
Volleyball isn't the biggest sport in a lot of schools.
but like Patty here I saw came up to you all.
She does not miss a game.
She's got a volleyball bracelet on.
You all are kind of with the success of Kentucky.
I mean, volleyball, y'all are some kind of stars around here, big stars, really.
Do you feel that presence around Lexington?
I mean, BBN is like no other.
Like, you just feel that support when we're at games.
They're just in the crowds, too.
So it's just awesome to see that you have people supporting you
and that they're loving volleyball just as much as we are.
I mean, they're sitting in a gas station park.
We love this gas station.
Parks is awesome.
But this is an example of BBN being slightly crazy on a Friday morning.
So talk about your youth clinics you do through Clark's Pump and Shop.
I mean, there are amazing opportunities.
We appreciate Clark's Pump and Shop and Rick and everyone who kind of gives us these opportunities.
I think we are given so much being here.
So it's just amazing every single time we get to give back to that.
Is it turn out always pretty good with the young girls coming out and try to learn the game?
Yes, there's a lot of people at every clinic.
Do you see the kind of popularity of it growing in the Lexington area?
I mean, I know you kind of got a connection to.
Lexington with your boyfriend being from Harrison County.
Shout out, yeah.
I covered her boyfriend in high school.
Oh, wait a minute, her boyfriend's son.
Yeah.
Wait.
What?
Dad.
Boyfriend's dad.
Brian.
I covered her boyfriend's dad.
Do you see what we deal with every day?
This is what we put up with Monday through Friday.
Thank you for helping us.
Brian Wittajuski, Harrison County's finest.
Covered him in high school.
So his son is your boyfriend.
So you kind of got a local connection.
Have you seen it grow?
Yeah, sure.
She's like, shut up, would you please?
Ron Lemon, ladies and gentlemen.
Well, we appreciate you both of us joining us.
Again, tomorrow you got SMU at 3 o'clock.
Go watch the ladies kill SMU.
Then you can go to the football game Saturday night
and then come back Sunday to watch you guys play Houston.
We figure out what time that game is Sunday?
2 p.m.
2 p.m.
So 3 p.m. on Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday.
Brooklyn Delay, Molly Tuzzle.
Thank you very much.
Best luck to you guys.
Congratulations on all your success.
Thank you.
All right.
Well, take our break.

Welcome back Kentucky Sports Radio
Ryan Drew Shannon Mario here live at Clark's Puppet Shop on Nicholasville Road
Rachel was just handing out some of the Clark's Puppet Shop glasses
sunglasses everybody comes out here gets free sunglasses
You can register for tickets to go see Eric Church
We're going to give away Burbank and Beyond tickets
And if you do a touchdown dance you can get a $25 gas card
Brian did one
Noah did one so we've given away two of our gas card so far
Are you going to do one? I would do one if they'll give me one
Heck yeah $25 gas card
A couple things we want to piggyback about the volleyball team
before they get out of here.
That was a great interview, by the way.
You guys did a good job.
I mean, they're superstars.
Those two guys, the gals are superstars.
SMU event tomorrow is free.
It can help himself.
The gals.
It drives Matt crazy.
It doesn't bother me.
It does him nuts.
Yeah, carry on.
So the SMU match is free to the public tomorrow.
And then next Thursday, they play at Louisville, Drew,
and there's going to be a bus taking fans to
Louisville to the Yom Center for the Kentucky Louisville match, contact the volleyball office,
and you can get signed up to be on that bus.
I might have to contact the volleyball office.
That sounds pretty fun.
I don't know what I'm doing next Thursday.
That sounds fun.
Oh, what?
They're playing another ranked team on Thursday.
Louisville's ranked.
Are they going to play the whole top 25?
They're on pace.
They've got to have the toughest schedule in the nation.
There's no way they don't.
Another volleyball team having a better, or, you know, a tougher schedule than what they are.
Well, somebody pointed out on the AVision Glass Tech Machine, I just saw it.
They have to play these tough non-conference games.
because they dominate the conference so much.
Oh, wow.
So, UK is the number one team in the SEC to kill everybody.
No competition.
So they've got to play these top 10 teams non-conference just to get some good matches in.
There's a few.
Texas, Florida, they're always tough, but I get it.
I get it.
A&M.
Smart to do that.
I mean, you're going to, as I always say, on the basketball side,
why not play in the non-conference of the best teams that you can play?
You're going to see those same teams again in the NCAA tournament,
so why would you not play them in the regular season if you have the opportunity to?
So who's his sponsor?
Is your segment sponsored by Drew?
This segment is sponsored by our good friends at Shady Race.
Ryan, I need you to stop overpaying for sunglasses.
You've been doing that since I've known you.
Absolutely.
You need to go to Shady Race.
Because you know why?
If you break them, lose them, they'll replace them.
I went to Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago.
Brand new Shady Race.
I got out of remote at the bottom of Lake Tahoe.
So I need to go to Shady Race and replace those from their tangle-free aviators that won't get stuck in your hair
to their color-rush lenses that provide ultimate color-enhanced visibility.
Every member of the family can find their perfect pair.
Shady Rays offers the best protection program in the industry with lost and broken replacements.
So take them on your next adventure with a team that has your back.
That's at Shady Rays, and we'll be there soonish, right?
Isn't that on the schedule coming up?
It's coming up very soon.
I think it's Matt's first show back.
That's right.
I'm mistaken, like maybe October 3rd.
Big celebration show.
For Shady Rade.
All right, 859-280-2287.
That's a Clark Publishout phone number if you want to call and get on board.
I do have a story this is all about Shannon.
Oh, really?
Oh, do I not know what this is?
ABC News.
I mean, this is not some internet junkie.
ABC News showed video of what appeared to be a UFO shot down by a missile,
but then the UFO kept going.
Right.
So it didn't get shot down.
It didn't get shot down.
It split into three pieces, and then each of the three pieces kept going.
Yeah, they divided and conquered.
That's what they do.
What was that?
It's aliens.
What you mean?
What was it?
I don't know.
You think I have the answers?
I'm not sure.
I think there's a lot of strange things.
that are out there, and this is just another one of those.
I don't really know how to explain.
I saw the video.
I don't really know how to explain what I saw, though.
And that wasn't like some crazy person.
That was Congress, right?
That's right.
Yeah.
They played it in Congress.
ABC News played it, but nobody has an answer what that was.
Aliens.
I mean, I've been telling you all for years, and you act like I'm crazy.
I mean, they're up there, and they're getting closer and closer.
Ryan, you don't believe in aliens.
Is that it?
I always thought we can't be the only.
beings in this whole universe.
There has to be something somewhere.
Well, we found it.
Yeah, now they're flying over the ocean and we've got to up our missiles.
They're not working.
You can shoot them.
They'll just split into threes.
And they all three kept going.
Yeah.
So why didn't they try to shoot one of the other three pieces?
Then they have nine.
They were in big trouble.
That's true.
That's true.
Then you go to 18 and then 36 and you see stuff.
There's no explanation.
That one kind of one of those things like, there's no explanation for what happened.
What is that?
And the source.
It's not just some Facebook video.
Is this doctor?
No, they're actually looking into what that was.
Another story that we kind of touched on when it happened was about Cracker Barrel.
Oh, yeah.
Did you see Cracker Barrel?
They're dropping the remodel.
Going to go back to the old Cracker Barrel.
Did they even remodel any of them?
There was four of them that got remodeled.
Four of them got remodeled.
So now those four are going to be special Cracker Barrels.
I've never seen anybody backtrack as quickly as they have.
But at least they were smart enough to listen to the majority of people who said,
what are you doing?
Why are you trying to fix something that isn't broken?
I'm glad that, you know, they're actually keeping things the way they are
because when I walk into a Cracker Barrow, I want it to look like Grandma's house.
You know, I need all the brown tables and the floor brown and the lattice.
Everything in there is brown.
That's the thing about Cracker Barrel when you walk in there.
It's that old Tommy Phil with the oil lamp and the T game.
I need all that to be in the Cracker Barrel or else I probably wouldn't want to go
if it looked like a Denny's on the inside.
So the remodel has all got fresh white paint, right?
Yeah.
To try to make it bright.
right or inside there.
Bring back the Brown.
Well, they, obviously,
there's, you know, the conspiracy theory is this was their plan all along.
Yeah.
Just to get the name back out there.
Like, when's the last time we talked about Cracker Barrel?
This may be, like, the smartest campaign ever.
Yep.
To get free advertising.
Maybe if they weren't really going to do that to all of them to begin with,
they knew there would be an outrage.
I didn't know there would be that kind of outrage over Cracker Barrel.
I figured most people don't really care.
Yeah.
But they have, without a doubt, gotten a ton of free advertising,
free publicity over basically doing nothing.
Was they all the new Coke,
old Coke? Yeah, yeah.
Was that a scam? Was that just to get people to go back to old Coke?
Start drinking old Coke again because they didn't like new Coke?
We're probably just giving them way too much credit.
I think that they were legitimately thinking this was a good idea.
We're going to remodel all the cracker barrels and people were going to like it.
Turns out it blew up in their face, but they still benefit, like I said,
with all the people who have talked about it, including us.
it's just crazy to me the things that we latch on to like i said this on matt's podcast
no part of me cares what cracker barrel looks like i i don't have that trait that cares
what chick-fil-a target cracker barrel what any of them do so this outrage and people are still
talking about it it's just like it's cracker barrel guys like when's the when's the last time you were
at a cracker barrel it's been probably just before covid i think the rules should be you have to go
three times a week to have an opinion about what cracker.
I was just there a couple of weeks ago, to be fair.
Me too.
I actually have been twice this month.
I go quite a bit.
I probably go, I don't want to say once a month,
but if I said once every two months,
that would probably be about that on par.
We had a basketball coach that went every single week for the chicken and dumplings.
Billy Gillespie did.
And look, I like the food.
I don't know.
A lot of people said the food's gone downhill.
I don't see that.
I do not like Cracker Barrow.
You don't?
Uh-oh.
No, I do not.
Anti-Crivaliator, though.
Yeah, I'm not a fan in Macrobarrow.
No?
Yeah, I feel a little strange when I get in there.
Back home country cooking.
Yeah.
You don't like country cooking?
I do.
Yeah, okay.
All right.
It is good.
Mario's not a fan.
My biggest thing was like I don't understand why people were upset about the logo itself.
Like the Long John Silver's logo over there.
If they took that goldfish off the top of it, I wouldn't be outraged about that.
But if you change the inside of it, not that Long John Silver's has an inside atmosphere like
Cracker Burrow does.
But if it did and they changed that, that's what I was, you know, saying that they shouldn't change.
All right.
Now I'm going to, something else we've talked about in recent weeks.
I'm going to make a prediction.
Oh, boy.
The number one Halloween costume this year.
Halloween's coming up.
What is it?
A month and a half away.
Yep.
Yeah.
Number one Halloween costume this year will be Karen Ball Snatcher.
Oh, yeah.
The field up your field, girl.
All right.
You wait.
She'll be the number one Halloween costume because that just, that one is another story that just won't go away.
Are you bringing back the night, your night costume?
You bring it back out for a house?
Absolutely, I will.
Yes, that's the best costume ever.
I still can't believe you actually won an award.
You won like a free night at the castle.
And never used it.
Never got it?
No.
I was the best dress.
Best dress.
No way.
Yeah.
We saw you win.
You were there too.
Never got it.
You're only going to be able to use it like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or something like that.
Yeah.
You've got to mail it to me or something.
Yeah.
I never got it.
Never used it.
Well, that's the contest.
It's a show.
The contest and never stated.
Did you follow up?
I did follow up.
Nothing wrong with Monday through Thursday.
You got to sleep.
That was like, that was before COVID.
That was six years ago or something.
I think they owe you.
They owe you a night.
Hel me a night in the castle.
That's right.
But don't you think Karen Ball Snatcher
will be a popular Halloween costume this year?
Probably so.
I don't know if they're going to be selling those in spirit Halloween
and those abandoned warehouses where they put up those Halloween stores.
But I can see a lot of people doing that.
Trying to think of what other, like, hot topic items for 2025 would make a good
Halloween costume.
Well, last year was...
Oh, I picked mine last night.
I decided on it.
What is?
Benson Boone.
Oh, Benson Boone.
I'm going to go.
I'm going to lose the beard, go mustache, get a little mullet going and find that jumpsuit.
Losing a beard.
I don't think I've ever seen you without a beard.
Well, it's got to commit to the bit, Mario.
I got a few weeks to learn how to flip, too, but we're going to get there.
Last year, the number one costume was Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey.
They used to.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's an obvious one.
I like the couple that, like, ten years ago, when is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey?
Did you see this?
She went viral?
Her caption literally says
This would never happen in real life
But my boyfriend wanted to be Travis Kelsey
She's Taylor Swill
And it's like several years before they even started dating
So they nailed that one back in like 2010
The cold play couple
But I don't know how you would even dress up like that
I don't think that's a good costume
I guess you could like do to pose
Like going to pose and do to pose
Yeah
They're trying to get romantic there with Shannon
This is from the A Vision Glass text machine
Which is Shannon the number
Oh gosh 5-027
35, 3680.
There we go.
You guys are at Clark's Pump and Shop.
Give us your go-to snack.
Now, Shannon and I did this.
Oh, yes. That's the topic.
Shannon and I kind of did this on the pre-show.
Right.
But give us your go to snack
because you get everything you can't want
here at Clark's Pump and shop.
Can I go first?
Sure, go ahead.
Does this have to be like,
like, this can be anything.
Look how excited he is talking about snacks.
I know.
He's fired up.
You're on a road trip.
You stop off at a Clark's Pumping shop.
What kind of snack are you going to get?
I'm getting Arizona, Mucho Mango.
You guys?
The drink.
The drink.
Yeah.
You worried about Arizona raising their prices?
See that?
A little bit.
I'm still going to get it, though, Drew.
I'm still going to be loyal.
99 cents.
That was pretty hard to.
Loyal guy.
I'm getting the Albanyce gummy bears.
You ever had the Albanyce gummy bears?
No, I don't know.
I'm going to have to put you guys on that.
That is top tier.
And then lastly, I'm probably going to get, let's see,
probably get some baked lays chips, like the baked lays.
It's the regular original one.
That's probably my go-to.
Watching your figure a little bit with the baked?
Yeah, I like the feel of it.
Okay.
See, I'm boring because I don't drink a lot of Coke.
or soda, just in general.
So I just go grab like a bottle of water and some beef jerky, and that's my...
I know it's a boring answer, but if I'm being honest, that's usually what I'll grab.
Well, you're a pro athlete. You've got to take care of your body.
Yeah, yeah, that's right.
You can't just be eating these abalone...
That's true.
Yeah, he's loading up on sugar. I'm trying to watch my figure.
What are you going to, Drew?
Last week, it's still a little touchy subject with Clarks.
I lost $60 on powerball tickets.
I thought I was going to be a billionaire, Clark's let me down.
But when I'm in there, I mentioned earlier to start the show.
I've recently fallen in love with their breakfast biscuit.
I know that's not candy, but I cannot shout out that sausage biscuit enough.
Candy-wise, though, I don't really ever go in a pump all the time.
I don't shop much unless I'm road-tripping.
And for some reason, on a road trip, I always buy combos.
And I don't know why.
I don't eat combos at home.
I don't think about combos.
But if I'm in a car and we stop to get gas and I go in to get something, for some reason, I grab combos.
That is underrated.
I don't know.
I don't know why.
That's my answer.
I've done that too.
That's a great call.
The pretzel combos, I think, are the best ones because you've got the regular
and then you've got the pretzel combos with the cheese.
Those are good.
That's right.
That's right.
I told you mine on the pre-show, Little Debbie cake.
Oh, that's right, yeah.
Oatmeal cream pie.
Old-nele cream pie.
Little Debbie cake.
And you can find ones to get the double-deckers?
Oh, that's the killer right there.
My guy's watching this figure.
Not the professional.
We all know somebody who would pick Skittles and Nerd Gummy Clusters.
Yep.
Now Mario and I just did one of his little videos where we had to rank like
these 10 different snacks.
We rank Skittles and Starburst 9th and 10.
What?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
You got them backwards.
Skittles and Starburst should be at least top three.
Nine and 10.
They're at the bottom.
I'd have to see your one through eight on that.
What's like your top three?
Snickers.
Snickers is one.
Reese's Peanut Buttercup was up there pretty high.
What else did we have on?
So you're focusing on chocolate over the fruit and sugar.
And then sour stuff for sure.
Spartes was at the bottom.
Spardillies.
But no doubt when Matt goes in, he gets a Diet Coke, Skittles, and nerd gummy clusters,
and then leaves the package in the car.
859, 287, that's our Clark Cumber Shop phone number.
I do have one PR note I want to give out that tomorrow,
not only do you have the UK women's volleyball match at 3 o'clock,
Malachi Marino will be set up over at Krogerfield from 4 to 6,
giving autographs, pictures, kind of a meet-and-greet.
Thanks to Palm Miller Ford, it's going to be actually outside.
gate 11 I believe is what it is
Gate 1, I'm sorry, outside gate 1
Malacai Marino will be there so kind of
combining football and basketball
tomorrow so you got volleyball, go there
first, then you can go meet Malackemearino
then you can go watch the football game during the big day
Very, very cool, good job
by Paul Miller Ford setting up something like this
where you can, you know you're already tailgating
and maybe you weren't tailgating you want to go see Malikai
Marino but given those guys an opportunity to be
in front of the fans when they're not so
busy and it's in their season he can go out there and just
be a fan himself and so we've talked with this
where I think the football team dropped the ball this year.
We didn't even know the quarterback until Media Day.
We had not met Xiaz Pete until Media Day.
We're still getting Media Day videos.
Can we talk about that?
Why is the UK football, is it UK football putting that out?
Oh, we got Hooty playing.
This is the greatest song in the history of music.
We'll be right back.
This is Kentucky Sports Radio.
T.J. Smith, personal injury attorney.
Call T.J., he'll make them pay.
Now, more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage.
Here's Matt Jones.
Welcome back, Kentucky Sports Radio.
Ryan, Drew, Shannon, and Mario.
We didn't even really mention why Matt's not here.
He flies to South Africa later today.
His big trip starts today.
So I don't know if he got his shoes.
He didn't hear about the boots yet.
I haven't heard about the boots either.
He did get his, what do you call safari pants?
Did he get his safari shoes?
I don't know.
I'm going to guess he's going to be wearing Jordans out on the safari.
Probably so.
Before we going further, I can't let, we've been skipping
over Liam's music. Kind of been nailing it here with the bourbon and beyond.
Very good.
Liam, I caught Noah Khan out of the last break.
Little Lumineers here. I'm on to you. I see it.
I hear it. I appreciate it.
All right, time for our Draft King segment.
Shadden. Tell me about Draft Kings. Yes, Draft King Sportsbook.
promo code KSR. If you're a new customer, you sign up, you bet $5.
You get $200 in bonus bets and $200 off.
NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube or YouTube TV.
You can do same game parlay, live betting, player props.
You get fast and easy payouts. It's all there for you.
Draft Kings, and we would be two for two on the KSR Parlay, Ryan, if it weren't for your awful
pick.
Yes.
Last week, picking Virginia, West Virginia, to be Ohio at Ohio.
But we're going to redeem ourselves this week right now.
Let's do our KSR Parlay picks.
Who wants to go first?
Well, usually, you know, it's you, me, Drew, and Matt.
So Matt's not here.
So Mario's going to make a pick.
Mario, we'll let you go first then.
Who you like?
Start us off on a good note.
I'm going LSU and I'm going with Money Line over Florida.
Florida, LSU.
I love that.
LSU at home.
That was going to be mine.
Florida's trash.
We're going to beat Florida.
Surely LSU can beat Florida.
All right.
So, the first couple of weeks I've been picking the late games,
I'll go with a 7 o'clock game here.
Virginia Tech takes on Old Dominion,
Virginia Tech is only a five and a half-point favorite at home.
I feel like that's easy money there.
I'm going to take Virginia Tech and the five and a half.
Oh, going with spread.
Yeah.
Virginia Tech, LSU.
Drew?
I'm not doing spread.
I'm doing money line with Mario.
just going to get a win and get out,
and I am taking a team we just saw.
Ole Miss is back home in Oxford.
They're a touchdown favorite against Arkansas,
just taking them to win.
Ole Miss to win.
Ole Miss to win.
They're going to wake up, they're going to do hot yoga.
They're going to still going to be laughing at the U.K.
at the end of that first half.
They're going to be in a good mood,
and they're going to get a win in Oxford.
So, Ole Miss Money Line.
O'Money Line.
LSU Money Line.
LSU Money Line.
Virginia Tech.
Minus 5.5.
5.5.
Yep.
5 and a half.
I'm going to go against your Vanderbilt Commodore.
Oh, why would you do that?
I'm going to take South Carolina and a minus three at South Carolina.
So once again, you're going to screw up the parlay is what you're telling me.
I think this is the best pick of the four.
South Carolina, only a three-point favorite down in Columbia,
where I got punched in the face and broke my jaw.
Yes.
So you're going to go with South Carolina, the fan base that punched you in the mouth.
Yes.
And had your jaw wired shut for a month.
Yep.
I think the Diego Pavia experiment is about to come to a,
screeching halt this year. The team we play
next week. Yeah, yeah.
We're going to see. Yeah, exactly. South Carolina is next week.
Next week. And I am not going down there.
I hope not.
I'm not going down to press charges.
All right, so we need South Carolina to cover,
Virginia Tech to cover, Ole Miss and LSU to win.
Yes. I like that. I like that. I like our parli. So
go to Draft King. KSR Parlay will be up. Probably win. Later today.
Later today. Later today, Mario, we'll get it put up.
I guess I need to read this disclaimer.
Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, yeah.

All right.
Governor Bashir was recently on Seth Myers, like it was earlier this week, I believe.
And when he was on South Myers show, they talked about
Gen Z words
Because he's got a Gen Z kid
I got a Gen Z kid
Mario qualifies as a Gen Z kid
I don't have a Gen Z kid
So here's a list of words
See if Drew and Shannon know what they mean
And then Mario will tell us exactly what the word means
Let's do it
Let's feel old
All right
You'll know some of these
The first one, lit
Yeah
Oh it's going to be awesome
It's going to be the party of the year
It's going to be lit
All right
Go touch grass
I've never heard it
Get outside your house
and go, like, explore nature.
Yeah.
Don't be, like, you know, bundled inside of your house.
Yeah.
That's new to me.
I've never heard.
Get out here.
Never heard that one?
No.
I've never heard of that.
Slay.
Oh, sleigh.
Like, I'm going to kill it.
I'm going to slay it.
You slay.
A lot of girls use that.
You're slaying in your two Mamosa Billy's shirt and your power K hats.
Yeah.
Like, I'm going to slay.
Slay girl, sleigh.
Like, you're killing it.
Like, I'm going to kill it with the ladies, right?
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
It doesn't have to be.
I mean, the ladies, no, it's just like, Slay, like girls use it a lot.
Like, you know, it's like a confidence.
Oh, girls use it.
Yeah, like Brian Slade that touchdown celebration dance.
Yeah, yeah, he did.
So much Slay.
I'm three for three.
DeLulu.
Never heard of that.
Is that like you're delusional?
Yeah, I think it means you're, yeah, there you go, Shannon.
Shannon's all over.
Riz.
Oh, you got a lot of Riz.
Yeah, like you're, kind of like your bling a little bit.
You swag.
Swag, yeah.
More like game.
Game.
Your game.
Yeah.
You're game to girls.
Like you're talking to girls.
Like if you were single and you were up, you know, found someone you wanted to go approach,
maybe hit her with the, how much does a polar bear way enough to break the ice?
You got rid.
You got some ris.
You got some ris.
Uh-huh.
Wow.
What a great one lighter there.
You got to use that.
Icebreaker.
Suss.
Like, I don't know about that guy.
He's suss.
Suspect.
Suspect.
That pickup line was actually a little suss.
Don't use that.
Cringe.
And cringe.
Cringe.
Cringe.
Yeah.
I think we all know what that is.
I mean, that just, yeah.
Yeah, that's self-term.
Do you know these?
You're looking at us like you're lost.
So you should chime in, too.
I think most of them.
Okay.
Aurora.
Aurora.
Aurora.
Oh, it's Aurora.
Oara.
Oro.
I wrote down Aurora.
ORA.
What is Aurora?
Like their vibe.
It's a city.
ORA, like, you know, their, you know, confidence.
Yeah.
They're vibe.
They're vibe.
They're vibe.
Yeah, vibe.
Yeah, there we go.
And this one, we debated this for a long time last night.
Six-seven.
Six-seven.
Six-seven.
Seven.
Six-seven.
I believe you know what knows what it means.
I know that the Tailing.
The Tilling, he made it up.
It's a big TikTok trend.
Like she could be a six, maybe a seven.
Six-seven.
You know, she's not an eight, nine, or ten, but she's a six, maybe seven.
So is that what it means?
That's what I'm going with.
Six-seven, six-seven.
She's six-point-five.
So if you got another Gen Z word, you want these guys to kind of track down,
Shannon did quite well on those, I think.
So good job.
No cap.
No cap to another one.
Cap or no cap?
Cap is like you're lying.
Like cap, that's not true.
And no cap is like, it's basically the same thing.
It's like, I'm not going to lie.
No cap.
No cap is I'm not lying.
How did I do better at that than you did?
I have the list.
I knew what they were.
Yeah, you do.
Did you know before?
No.
8592-80287.
Still got a little time to stop by here at Clark's Pumping Shop.
I think we can say your boy from Enterprise heard the discount where during the show
you get 10 cent off each gallon of gas.
Is he bringing all the enterprise cars over here?
They're bringing the enterprise cars over here to fill them up.
Well, you know.
The whole fleet can come on.
I mean, it's a good deal.
If you can bring over 30 cars, you get 10 cents off a gallon on 30 cars or whatever it is.
That's a pretty good deal.
Might as well.
We'll do it.
We've got free sunglasses.
We're giving away.
We're going to weigh some Eric's church tickets.
We're giving away double-de-d eggs.
Yeah.
We've got, if we need to talk about Freebirds deviled eggs, he brought us earlier today.
How about the jelly, though?
The jelly is some kind of bourbon, jalapino jelly.
Yes.
And you put it on deviled egg.
And it's awesome.
And it's awesome.
It's really good.
And right next to it's Dave's and Glass text machine.
Have you been looking at that?
During the commercial break.
This last one here, it says, with our poor performance, end up with less games on the TV.
That was one question I was going to ask you.
Less games on the TV.
Some of these, they're going to take the film crew away?
Like, this is not.
I think what he's saying will it be like more, no major network games?
You mean more streaming games?
Yeah.
Because some of these games are still like,
listed is what they call it swing games where they haven't set a time yet.
Flex games, there we go.
So what do you think, Drew?
Yeah, I mean, I guess if Kentucky doesn't look good, some of these flex games,
you would get the lesser time slot than another team.
But we're at a point.
I mean, they're all going to be on TV somewhere.
It's the SEC.
Yeah.
So I don't think we're going to go back to Jefferson Pilot or any midnight replays,
but we might not get the prime time spots if we're not living up to our end of the performance.
I kind of miss Jefferson Pilot.
I do, too.
I swear.
The basketball version.
What is Jefferson Pilot?
We have football games where it's live and they're the Simpsons.
Or what if there's been other ones, right?
Right, yeah.
Can I just get an AI Jefferson Pilot broadcast with the graphics,
Tom Hammond.
And the Dave's and the Tom's?
Larry Connolly.
Do we have that technology?
We should.
We should have the technology.
Dave Baker doing the halftime show.
Yeah.
And you don't get to watch until 11 o'clock that night.
It's on take the late.
Set me up an alternate broadcast that is put through a Jefferson.
and pilot 90s filter and I'm watching every game there.
We'll take our final break, come back, our final segment.
We still got a little time to get out here.
We're at Clark's puppet shop on Nicholasville Road, just south of Brandon Crossing by the new Long
John Silver's.
Ryan, Drew, Shannon, and Mario.
This is Kentucky Sports Radio.
We'll be right back.

We're here, Kentucky Sports Radio.
This is Matt Jones and the crew.
I'm here with Shannon Drew in a beautiful day.
Ryan, tell me a little bit more about Clark's popping shop.
Well, thanks, Matt.
Appreciate that.
We were live.
That was a terrible impression.
That was an awful impersonation.
I'm a little rusty.
They're about Mario.
He likes to do impersonations, but he's not good at any of them.
I'm a little rusty, man.
For the people that aren't here, Mario was so excited.
He wanted to do his Matt impersonation when you came back from the breaks.
We let him go.
Did you like my finger point?
Your finger point?
He does the finger point?
Yeah.
You know, the beautiful day.
I don't think he sounds like.
Did you want to read a text from the text machine, Matt?
I'll see what we got here.
Someone says.
Someone says.
Matt, you're awesome.
Matt, you did a great job on that podcast the other night.
Okay, here is, I had a good one.
Now I can't find it.
Well, just make one up.
Oh, here it is.
This is from Nick on the A-Visional Ice Tech Machine.
I won't make it up.
I'm going to read it purposely.
It says, the Castle gift card to Ryan is with my Wendy's gift card of the day.
There you go.
Those are still going out.
Sit tight.
We got a lot of collars.
We want to get on probably get out of here, Liam.
So who we got first?
Miles. Miles, go ahead, Miles.
Hey, good morning, mine.
This is Miles, this is Miles from Vanville.
Yeah.
Did you stop at Vanville Hospital?
Yeah, I remember. It's good to hear from you again, Miles.
Yeah.
And I was going to tell, and I was going to say, I went to
I went to Calamacy's book signing last night at the Danville Library.
And I got to meet him and got to talk to him and he autographed my book.
Well, that's awesome.
And it was neat.
Great.
Thank you, Miles.
Appreciate the phone call.
That is awesome.
I've got to meet Kyle Macy last night.
He's out promoting his book from the rafters.
I think he wrote it with Dr. Wong.
I think they co-wrote that book.
I've seen that.
Yeah, so check out to Kyle Macy book signing near you, I guess.
Very cool.
He got to meet him.
I remember a youngsterer Franklin at Mike Phillips camp in Madisonville,
and Kyle Macy made a trip for one of the days.
This is a big deal learning how to shoot free throws from Cal Macy.
Obviously, I didn't learn, but he was trying to teach me how to do it.
Sox.
First thing I do is pull up your socks, right?
Yeah.
Wipe your hands on your socks.
What?
Pants.
Elbow.
Yep.
It was like a little thing he had.
I forget what it was now.
Kyle taught you that?
Yeah.
Kyle used to teach how to shoot free throws.
Oh, okay.
Who's next, Liam?
Let's get another phone call.
Who we got?
Gary and Orlando.
Gary and Orlando.
Go ahead, Gary.
Well, thanks for taking my call, gentlemen.
I was tuned in this morning, and the best thing I heard in the show the whole day was
Tracy Polly was in the room.
and
Jerry was
when Jerry first came to Florida
he immediately found our group in Orlando
and he added a lot to our group
in the short time he was there
and I just want Tracy to know that we really miss her down here
and I wish we were all there to give her a good hug
and a big hug
and a big Blue Nation hug
thank you guys. She says to miss you too
He misses you too, Gary.
Yeah, Tracy, we know you're all with you.
Go give her a hug.
If you don't know the story, her husband, Jerry, they used to come to a lot of our shows.
They moved to Florida.
Shortly after move down there, Jerry tragically passed away.
So Tracy has since moved back up here to Kentucky.
It's great to see you again, Tracy.
You look great, and we all miss Jerry.
All of us do all Big Blue Nation, and you can hear the emotion in Gary's voice.
Meeting a lot to a lot of people.
So we all miss him.
Don't cry.
You'll make me cry.
We're having a good time.
All right, who's next, Liam?
Let's get another phone call.
Bruce.
Bruce.
Bruce.
Bruce.
Bruce.
All right.
It's going to another one, Liam.
Who's next?
Joe and Philly.
Joe and Philly.
Go ahead, Joe and Philly.
I had the music playing on a different device.
And I didn't have a speaker on the phone, but I legitimately thought that was a tape of Matt that you guys made.
Well done, Mario.
You are Mr. Consistent.
You see, you heard that.
I thought that was Matt.
Thank you for having the volleyball women on.
I coached and played for two, three decades.
I really appreciate you guys doing that.
If there was a Clark's pumping shop nearby, I'd go there, I'd pump, I'd shop.
I hope all UK volleyball fans and fans of female and women, athletics, and state,
can go to support Clarks today for doing that.
Well done by you guys for having them on.
They were great.
I look forward to the matches.
tomorrow and this season.
Well, appreciate it, Joe.
We need to give a big shout out to the Women's NIL Collective with UK, W1974,
for helping to organize this.
Joni does that through the Scott County Humane Society a lot of times,
through Clark's Pump and Shop, gets us access to some athletes.
Aidan LaRoss has been on because of them before,
and now today we had the volleyball girls here today.
Yeah, we were just talking about the song here with Clark's and, you know,
NIL, we're all still getting used to a bit of example of the volleyball
out
today coming out
here.
That's exactly
what an aisle
supposed to
do about.
Yeah.
Their youth
clinics
that they
give out
becoming more
popular.
That's another
good reason
for.
We do have to
say a very
KSR thing
just happened here.
We were giving
out Eric Church
tickets.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
So they gave
out these free
sunglasses.
Everybody here
got free
sunglasses.
And then
Rachel came out
and said,
okay, look in
your sunglasses.
If you
have the letter
E on one of
the packaging,
you win the
Eric Church
tickets.
Right.
Nobody,
nobody had the E.
Went around.
Everybody's looking at their son guy. Nobody had the E.
Come to find it.
It's finally found our friends from Hilton Head that are here back here behind the wall, getting out of the sunshine.
Yeah.
Finally, they had the E on their sunglasses, so somebody did win the Eric Church tickets.
And I believe they only came here because the wife wanted to stop by here.
And then, it turned out they won some Eric Church tickets.
Now they got the Eric Church tickets.
All right.
859-2-87.
Let's get another call, Liam.
Who we got?
Tristan.
Tristan.
Go ahead, Tristan.
Good morning, gentlemen.
morning.
Morning.
So this is for Mario.
Mario, I hear that you are interested in the symbolical sciences,
and I've got a tarot reading for you.
Oh, tarot reading.
Terro card reading.
All right, go ahead, Tristan.
He's scared of this thing.
All right, so Mario, I pulled two cards for you this morning.
So the first, I pulled the page of one.
Why?
The way that taro works,
playing cards are based on tarot.
So it's a number plus a suit.
So the page of ones is one of the base cards of wands,
which is an action card.
So the way it applies to you is that you are a young man who is the consummate learner.
You are doing amazing incredible things.
All right.
And you're doing those every day.
He freaks him out.
All right.
You hear that?
He starts doing the tarot and then it starts the interference.
Yeah, but here's the thing.
So right, you don't really have a plan.
You're just doing good things.
And you know that the more good things you do,
something eventually good will happen for you.
Now I'll pull the second card.
The second card is the Four of Pinnacles.
And the Four of Pinnacles is about hoarding, right?
And so there's going to come a day where you have an opportunity.
And the question is, are you going to be very comfortable in what you're doing and stay?
Or are you going to take a step out and go and continue doing great things?
And that's what the cards are telling you, is to think about your opportunities.
I hope you all.
Thank you.
All right.
Did you just tell Mario to quit KSR?
I think so.
It was a knock haul today.
No, the tarot cards.
No, you have a great spot here, Mario.
The tarot card said that.
I love my spot here, man.
Honestly, do it.
That stuff freaks Mario out.
Did you hear that witchcraft that was going hard, though, with our signal when he was talking about the tarot cards?
All the times that we broadcasted today, that's when we kind of, you didn't have the only time we had to look at interference.
The witch is trying to come get you.
It's not good, man.
All right, we've got to make our picks where we get out of here.
Tomorrow it's Kentucky hosting Eastern Michigan at Kroger Field, kickoff at 730.
Our pregame show from KS Bar and Grill starts at 3.30.
I guess Mario's the rookie.
We make him go first.
Absolutely.
All right, Mario, you go first.
It's the predictions.
More prediction and MVP.
You can do mats also while you're doing yours.
Okay, I'll try.
All right, mine, I'm going to go 35, 15.
Kentucky wins, and of course, of course, you know who's my VP Cutter Bowley.
You want me to give you match?
Yeah, of course.
If you can get a hold of you.
Let me change in the character.
Okay.
All right, I'm going to go with, let's see here.
I think it's going to be a close one.
I got, I'm going to go with Kentucky wins.
Carter Bowley has a great game, and I'm taking 38 to 3.
