Ultimately, that is the opinion you're listening to right now.
And try our new burger, et cetera.
It's all there.
You've seen it on our ads, but what does it mean?
We're talking about all y'all UK Federal Credit Union.
It's now for teachers, nurses, police officers, students, small business owners, and more.
You can switch banks.
because UK federal credit unions for everybody.
Good banking shouldn't belong to a few.
It belongs to all of y'all.
Easy, local, and made for everyone.
Membership eligibility required.
It's UK federal credit union, federally insured by NCUA.
This guy had a kid come up to me Saturday, Shannon, and walk up to me and just say,
is UK federal credit union for all y'all?
You got little kids trolling you now?
Yeah, I think so.
I think it was a troll.
I genuinely think it was a troll.
I thought it made me laugh quite a bit.
Before we go to the phones,
through a little piece of news,
you and I on cover zero for the NFL cover zero listeners out there.
And I have to say,
I hope you all are listening because Drew and I have a lot of fun doing this show.
We have a lot of jokes that stay with us.
We've talked a lot about meow mix, right?
You remember meow mix?
Of course.
Drew there.
Our Panthers podcast.
Yeah, Panthers podcast.
So for people who don't know, it was a Panthers podcast.
It went on for like seven years.
They decided to quit after the Panthers went, started like one and four in the season.
But now the Panthers have won four straight.
And so they announced after their win Saturday against,
or Sunday against Shannon's Patriots, Meow Mix is back.
They were coming back to podcasting.
And the world was excited.
But then all of the former Panthers players wrote them
and beg them to not come back.
Said we started getting good when you left.
Don't be a jinx and come back and ruin our streak.
So after announcing they were coming back,
getting thousands of people around the country excited,
Meow Mix is back.
Now they've said,
well,
these players don't want us to come back,
so we won't.
Are you saddened at all, Drew,
that the Panthers podcast,
that went away and then came back
with all this national attention,
now has to go away again so that they're not a jinks.
I'm glad the players did this.
Meow Mix, it was going to be a horrible decision to come back.
You've won four out of five since you disappeared.
The Panthers have.
And your one loss is the Bills.
Them quitting, set the Panthers on a new trajectory that's been really good.
And if they had come back and done another episode,
I would have put every penny on, I guess they're playing the Saints this week,
whoever it is.
I would have put every penny on the other team because Meow Mix is the problem here
and they need to recognize that by staying away is what's working.
But Shannon, isn't that heartbreaking?
If the team you love in order for you to win
need you to not be a part of the team?
Does that make sense?
I think it's a bad look on Miamix to just stop because their team sucked.
I mean, that's on them.
But they did it because they were getting no attention
and they were moving on with their lives.
And then when they quit, they got attention.
So it was almost like they had no attention.
idea that they would get this response.
Let's say Kentucky got cursed and the only way Kentucky football could win is if KSR just
went off the air.
Okay, that's you're thinking like me.
Yeah.
So let's start like this.
This is for every fan out there.
What if I told you that if you promised to not watch any of the games or listen to
KSR or do any fan anything, Kentucky would win the national championship?
would you do it?
Would you want your team to win so badly that you got to partake in none of the spoils?
You couldn't go to the games, you couldn't watch them, you couldn't go to a bar and watch them.
You just had to like, you could know they win, but you don't get to celebrate or be part of any of the celebration.
Ryan, would you do that if you were a fan?
I don't think I could do it because part of being a fan is enjoying the moment and watching the games and seeing the big wins and watching them cut down the nets.
I mean, I would hate to miss that part as a fan.
I think that's part of what makes Kentucky basketball special.
So you would be selfish and not do it.
You would be selfish and say, I have to watch it, and if we don't win, so be it.
Yeah, I would definitely be selfish.
What about you?
Easy. I'll do it right now.
Give me the opportunity to gift Big Blue Nation a title.
I will go just binge watch episodes of chopped on Hulu and forget this team exists.
That's fine.
It's not about me.
It's not about me.
I don't care.
I'm selfless.
I'm thinking the joy,
all of my friends,
people I don't even know.
The joy would bring the state,
what it would do for the program.
I don't see it as me not being a part of it.
I see me as being a big part of it.
I just have to stay away for the greater good.
So I don't even have to think about it.
What if nobody knows that you're the reason it happened?
I don't need a time.
I'm good.
I'm good.
I'm good.
I'm good.
That's fine.
It's not about me.
You're already,
you're already making it about me again.
It's about the happiness for everyone else.
I'll be fine.
I'll be right.
So Ryan is selfish,
Drew is selfless.
And I don't need a single credit.
I will be happy seeing the smiles on everyone.
All right.
Listen to that.
That's great.
Shannon,
what about you?
So can I,
I got a question.
Can I go back and watch the game after it happens?
No.
Oh.
No.
Oh.
You can never,
like,
you can know it happened,
but you are forbidden.
from having any joy from it beyond just the knowledge that you want.
I was thinking, you know, I could just watch it like a tape delay back in the day,
like when you had to watch the game in 11.
It's just going to be a mystery to you.
You're just going to hear.
They won the title.
That's all you're going to hear.
I don't know, man.
That is a terrible situation.
You know what?
I think I would do it for one year.
And then I want the credit, though.
I'm unlike Drew.
I want the credit.
I want everybody to put me up on their shoulders and say,
Shannon was the reason.
He didn't watch any of the games.
He's the reason we won.
So if I get the credit for it, then yes.
Okay.
All right.
I think I'm like Drew.
I would say for the collective happiness of the state, I would take it.
You know, the reality is, Drew, I don't watch a lot of the games anyway because I get nervous.
I was going to bring that up.
Yeah.
When we get to the tournament, I'm so nervous that often I don't watch them anyway until the replay until I know what happened.
So I'm going to do it.
I'm with Drew.
Which means, oddly, Ryan, you're the only one that's selfish out of the group.
I mean, we've won eight titles.
We're going to win more titles down the road.
I'm not doing it for a year.
You're looking out for you.
I'm over the fan base.
All right.
Well, I'm watching on the stream and give the guy $10.
But being old means there might not be another one.
There's more coming.
You can guarantee one.
There's more coming.
You'd save yourself a lot of money.
and YouTube streamer tips.
Sounds like Drew.
Drew and I are like Meow Mix.
Ryan is his own selfish fan.
Who's up next?
Southside Chuck.
Southside Chuck. Go ahead.
Good morning, Matt and fellas.
Good morning.
I have been listening and watching the UK streamer since COVID.
So I can answer pretty much any.
questions you have about his stream.
So when you say the streamer, there's one in particular you watch?
Yeah, it's the guy Ryan has mentioned.
There are a few others, but this guy's the predominant one.
He has been doing UK games.
Like I said, I've been watching him since COVID.
And so do you have like a personal affinity for him?
No, he just, he is the only one that consistently covers every UK.
basketball game, no matter what day, whether it be on a Tuesday or a Saturday.
But he does it.
And he doesn't verbally ask for donations.
He puts his cash app up and then as people begin to donate, he'll acknowledge them like Ryan.
Okay.
So have you ever donated?
Probably no.
But he doesn't verbally ask for the years.
Okay.
So now I actually think you're the.
opposite because I was mocking Ryan for giving him $10 for a game, but you have now used
it for five years.
Have you never wanted to give him a little something for his effort?
No, his effort is by his choice.
I like the way he thinks.
I mean, that's true.
And there he is.
But if everybody had your attitude, though, if everyone had your attitude, though, then he probably
wouldn't do it.
I bet he makes two or three thousand dollars a game.
Yeah, it's a pretty good time.
But there's many people that watch and donate.
I bet he makes two or three thousand dollars per game.
But you're not donating?
No, I'm not.
Okay.
I donate when I can watch when it's on it for free, but he's not,
but he isn't the only one that is streaming it.
I watch all UK sports on YouTube.
I watch basketball, football, volleyball.
I watch them all.
They're all on there for free.
All right.
Well, I appreciate the call.
Who knew there's this outlaw world, which Shannon introduced us to, and which Ryan has gladly opened his bank account to, that I don't know a lot of fans were aware of.
Maybe this will be the case that no one ends up with these subscriptions now, Shannon, because of you.
Why?
Why would you pay for it when it's there for free?
I don't know the answer to this.
Is every game on there?
Yes.
Like if I were.
I mean, yeah, you heard of what Southside Chuck just said.
No, not just Kentucky.
I'm saying like if I wanted to watch.
No, no, not every game.
But I think Duke was on there last night.
Yeah, yeah.
But he's asking his every, no, not every game.
But every Kentucky game, yes.
But other teams, not necessarily.
Interesting.
All right, who's next?
Let's go to Gage.
Gage, go ahead, Gage.
Hey, guys.
There are actually a lot of games that you can find
on YouTube. So I'm still at high school. And when March Madness comes around, instead of, you know, doing my work in class, I usually just look games up on YouTube. And I still get to watch March Madness while I'm in school.
I mean, that's pretty, that's pretty nice. But we, we've also, uh, we also watched the World Series on YouTube.
Yeah. Who's my favorite cable? Yeah. I mean, there is a sense you all are making it sound like there's no reason to have any of these things.
No, there's really not.
I mean, my TV, it's like weird.
Like, I only have, like, YouTube and Netflix I can get on,
and we literally watched it outside in a tent on YouTube.
In a tent?
So, like.
How do you have a TV where you can only get on YouTube?
What kind of television is that?
It's a really cheap one because, you know, my mom.
All right.
Well, I understand.
Well, listen, if it works for you, I love it,
and you get to watch all the games and you're in high school.
so I say keep doing it, sir.
Thank you, Matt.
Appreciate the call.
Drew, I knew none of this, but luckily I'm learning.
The Herald leader did a story this morning that I did want to know.
They were talking about UK football and the transfer portal.
You know, we lost a ton of guys in the transfer portal.
And in the story, one of the things they said is, okay, let's go see how these guys are doing.
And we lost in the portal because I think we lost something like 19 guys or something.
in the portal.
And basically, the analysis of the story was, at virtually every position where we lost
a player, Kentucky has replaced that player with someone better or equal.
That essentially none of the transfer losses were huge losses, that they've basically
all been, for the most part, replaced.
Do you agree with that analysis?
And if so, like, what does that say going forward?
I'm trying to run through positions.
I don't know that I would agree with it right away.
I'm trying to...
I mean, the only one that you could argue is Dane and Barion.
But even those guys, their production levels haven't been at a level that is substantially
different than what we're doing here.
And so the argument is it didn't really make much difference on anybody either way.
I guess I'm going through
and some of the guys they paid to replace people
aren't the ones doing the replacing.
Fair now.
Calzada is just, I mean, I got hurt,
but he's just sitting there and he was the replacement.
Dante Daldel, it's been more of the Seth McGowan show.
They were more of a one too, I guess.
Receivers, you got young guys stepping up
when the portal guys haven't done as much.
Now, Laws turn it on lately.
So I guess people have stepped up and filled holes,
but I don't know that it's been there
what they thought it would be in all this point.
fights, if that makes sense.
I mean, Dane's got five touchdowns, and at one point he had more touchdowns.
He had those here.
I mean, like, it wasn't like, like, his production there has not been that much different than it was here.
But I think our entire receiver core doesn't have five touchdowns.
I think they just got their fifth on Saturday as a group.
Yeah, Kendrick Laws got three.
He lost his quarterback, right?
Didn't he get hurt?
Yes, he did.
Yeah, he did.
He's out.
Yeah, that's a tough.
But I don't think Barion hasn't done much down at LSU from what I understand.
Yeah.
It'd be interesting to see if those guys had stayed.
Would it have been better for both of them?
Or would it have been better for the team?
I don't really know.
I mean, it was interesting because those two guys have more talent than anybody that's here.
Would it have been better for them?
Would it have been better for us?
We'll never know, but it's an interesting question.
Got some exciting news from our friends at Cornbread Hemp.
They just opened a brand-new retail.

This is actually very, if you get a chance, you need to go by their store.
The way they make stuff is kind of fascinating.
The shelters, the sleep gummings, the oils, it's all there at the cornbread hemp facility

What's the address?
They should put the address on here.
Like Shuff Avenue.
It's something like that.
Yeah.
It's not on the copy, but it should be.

Great comments on the text machine.
What person writes, Matt, the stream won't get shut down because as long as he's talking about the game,
it falls under fair use in the law.
That is false.
I like when people say definitive legal statement, Shannon, that are completely false.
Like they know.
Yeah, I mean, that's not true.
Fair use is like if you use a clip or something.
So like if J.D. Vance does an interview on Matt Jones's show,
and he says a clip that's newsworthy, someone can take that clip and use it in
comment on it, but they can't take the whole interview.
They have to take, like, a reasonable clip size.
Same thing with, like, highlights, stuff like that.
But you can't take the whole thing.
So, no, you can't stream a game.
Because if you could do that, then, Drew, you could just, everyone could do it, right?
You could just go, why should I pay for the rights to the NFL?
I have the NFL.
Every, every network would just take the feed and do their own commentators.
Yeah.
And you can't do.
usually YouTube starts pulling these at the beginning of the year it happens NFL happens every sport they let them get built up and they just yank them down midgame but i wonder if right now while youtube is fighting with ESPN if they're like yeah stream away just don't go get that out
youtube might actually like this because it's the same company it means google so they're probably thinking as long as you're not at ESPN we don't care what you're doing here for the time being that's a great point and that may be you may have just hit what is happening uh one person writes respectfully matt do you live under a
rock there are all sorts of streams for all sorts of things everything in the world is on
youtube you act like you just discovered it okay maybe true i mean i didn't i mean i've been on
youtube but i and i knew they stream stuff but i didn't realize it certainly didn't realize
like shannon said there were 60 000 people on there watching them yeah uh another person says
you are going to get this taken down and the fan base is going to blame blame you
not me, you blame Shamed.
Don't blame me.
I'm just trying to help you all out.
One person writes, there's one stream that has Tom Leach calling the game and then has
the game stats.
Well, that sounds awesome.
Have you found that one, Ryan?
I think I went across that last night.
Yeah, it's just stats.
There's no, like, live video.
It's just stats and the radio play-by-play together.
Oh, so it's no video.
Correct.
Okay, well, that wouldn't be, that wouldn't be quite as interesting.
Are you feeling good at all, Drew, about the first?
Florida game Saturday.
I have felt good about the Florida games since March.
Yeah, that was my hot take in the spring that I think we could get them because I,
and it's looking that way, I never thought Florida would be a good team this year.
I thought Kentucky would be a little better than they've been, but I'm not switching up
my prediction.
I know Florida is a field goal favorite at the moment, but I still like Kentucky at home in that game.
Yeah, I mean, I'm feeling good about it.
They're still, they're a field goal favorite.
I think we can win.
I think a lot of it's going to be kind of how, you,
engaged is our crowd, how many people go.
I'm interested to see what that'll be, Ryan.
You know, I judge this stuff by the thing that's the easiest for me to judge,
which is the bar.
There wasn't a ton of interest in the Auburn game Saturday,
but of course, then we went and won the Auburn game.
So you wonder, like, does that make it different this week?
Does winning re-engage people?
Do you feel like people are re-engaged because of the win or no?
I do a little bit.
It seems like they are just, you know, talking to people that,
That win at Auburn has kind of got re-energized our fan base a little bit, if nothing else.
I think it re-energized the locker room, that's for sure.
So it's supposed to be a nice night, but I would almost prefer it'd be cold with Florida coming in.
If we're going to have a chance to win, I think the colder it gets the better,
our chances maybe to pull one off over them.
What is the weather situation?
Because I saw everyone changed their, everyone changed the high school football games in Louisville Friday.
To Thursday, what are they expecting to happen?
Well, Friday, I think it's supposed to run.
rain a lot. I think Saturday
it's supposed to tail off a little bit.
Okay. So Friday's supposed to be bad weather
but Saturday okay. That's what I understand.
Saturday around game time is supposed to be like how
40s, 50 shouldn't be rain.
Okay, gotcha. All right, who's up next?
Doc.
Doc. Go ahead, Doc.
Hey, first time.
Who are?
Two things. I
originally had cable with spectrum and then
they lost it a couple years ago before football
and so I canceled it and went to just
streaming and internet.
Well, it was $200 I was paying, so I went back to Spectrum because now they have everything
included, Disney Plus, ESPN, Hulu, all that stuff.
And I'm paying like 140.
So I think we're getting full cyclical back to what it used to be one thing for everything.
And then second thing, in order of importance, do you think we need to win football at Florida,
football at Louisville, if we're five and six, or Louisville basketball or Florida basketball.
Florida basketball's at the bottom.
I mean, I'll be the last game of the year.
So our focus will be on the turn.
Or actually, Arkansas.
Switch Florida for Arkansas basketball.
Arkansas is different.
All right.
Well, I appreciate the call.
So I guess to answer that question, you have to decide, like, what do you want?
because there are people out there who kind of wouldn't mind to see a change.
If you're just talking to me personally, what is my order of wanting to win?
Oh, man.
I would go, I want to beat Louisville and football because it would keep him out of the playoff.
I think that's number one, isn't it?
So I would go Louisville football, then probably Florida football, Louisville basketball, Arkansas basketball.
That's my order.
or maybe Arkansas ahead of Louisville and basketball.
But the two football games are more important to me
just about the future of the program one way or the other.
You know, regular season basketball games, they matter, but they go away.
The football games have lasting importance one game.
So that's why that's going to be ahead for me.
We'll take a break.
Very back, KSR.

It's a great Wednesday.
Thanks to Drew for doing the post-game show.
How'd that go last night, Drew?
I think every single call just wanted to say that they love Colin Chandler's dunk.
It was fitting that I got to be the one to take those calls.
And the dude that hit the half-court shot also called in last night.
Oh, yeah, Jared called in. He was fired up.
Pretty neat story.
He had a $10,000.
half court shot, is that right?
Yeah, but several people turned it down
before they asked him, which I think is weird.
But he and his buddy played rock paper scissors
who got to do it, and he actually lost,
but his friend saw how upset he was that he lost
and how bad he wanted the shots.
So his friend said, you go shoot it, and then he made it.
Is this a Jared we know or a different Jared?
I didn't know him.
What Jared are you talking about?
Well, you and I know a big Jared fan.
It's not him, that's what you're saying.
You know, the one guy.
I can't see you, so I can't, I could do it.
I don't even know who you're talking about.
This guy's a fan of the show.
He called in and says he listens to KSR.
But he's a big KSR fan.
But he called in and just explained it all.
Well, good.
I guess there was a moment where they wondered if his foot was on the line,
but he sent me a photo.
You could park a car between his foot in the line.
So he's good.
The foot on the line chain.
Remember we had that a few years ago, a guy, and they weren't going to give it to him.
Give it to a guy.
Yeah, this is not NBA.
Like, if he's close, what do you do?
giving him the money.
Unless he's clearly over the line, then yeah, you let it go.
Yeah, unless he's shooting a free throw.
Just go ahead and give him the money.
Exactly.
Tennessee and Kentucky, ESPN just announced that game Sunday, the volleyball game,
will be on ESPN regular at 5 o'clock right.
So not only does Craig Skinner want to pack the house,
I think part of why he wants to do it is this is on ESPN regular for Sunday,
the volleyball game between Kentucky and Tennessee.
I guess I'll be dialing up sports.
live reactions and see if he's going to carry the game for me.
You think you'll have it?
I'll tip him again if he carries that volleyball game for me.
All right.
I got a beef with Craig Skinner.
Okay.
He stood on the desk and asked everyone to buy tickets,
and I think he bought tickets himself.
Two nights ago, that night, I went to buy tickets,
and there weren't any more general admission left.
So Craig, you got to leave a couple.
Oh, so it's sold out now, you think?
Yeah, I got to buy verified secondary tickets.
It's just to get general admission now.
So it's going to be a good crowd.
But come on, Craig.
Let me get mine first before he starts shouting from the rooftop.
But it worked.
There's no more available when I checked two nights ago.
Do you think, Shannon, there's any other sports host in America that during their show has also been following a Supreme Court argument while it's going on?
Probably not.
Probably just you.
Yeah, I'm sitting here watching.
Trump's tariffs are going down.
Supreme Court's killing him right now.
I don't know when that will get announced.
It's very interesting.
What do you mean?
It's very interesting.
You don't want to know about that?
Sure I do, yes.
Do you know what a tariff is?
It's like a tax.
Okay, tell me what a tariff.
Explain to people what a tariff is.
Like when we buy goods from Canada, we're going to tax them.
Who's we?
United States.
But like, you mean the country or like businesses?
The business.
The business, we're going to tax you.
We're going to force you to pay us money.
to buy your product.
And so who are they going to pay?
Who's going to have to pay it?
The company people.
The, which company?
The Canadian company?
Yeah, the Canadian company.
No.
The American company is going to pay.
The importer.
The importer.
Not the importee.
The American company will pay to bring in a foreign product.
So that's, the tax is actually on the American company.
There you go.
See?
Very interesting.
There you go.
But it looks like that.
Fascinating.
looks like that may get shot down who's up next bubba
Bubba go ahead Bubba
hey I just want to thank you for the tickets last night
I'm on the seventh row
You had the good seats right you got the seventh row so how was it
I was great it was great me and my son went and really enjoyed it
and I want to call him thank you
and the biggest
the allows had gotten the first half
is when the guy made the half court shot
So it was a little out of sorts in the first half,
and I think we'll be okay.
Were you on the side?
I saw where your seats were.
Were you on the side where Colin Chandler dunked it or on the other side?
Other side.
Other side.
Okay.
Gotcha.
Well, everybody who won yesterday with those jokes, all three people, you're the third.
The other two sent me pictures and thanked me last night, and then you called the show.
This is why I think it's so awesome that people donate.
these tickets and we give them away because, like, those tickets, the tickets you were in, sir,
like he could have sold those for a lot of money and instead gave them away.
And I'm glad you all got to enjoy them.
Yes, it was a great time and thanks again.
You're more than welcome.
Thank you.
I just really like that about this fan base.
I like how, you know, somebody wrote me and said they wanted to give two away, which were the two I gave to Bubba.
But then another person just sent me four.
I just got into my email and there were four more.
And, you know, I don't expect that to happen for the North Carolina game or the Florida game.
But for these other games, I just think, you know, when you give me tickets away, I will give them out.
And I think it's neat, Ryan, getting to give people the chance to take their son or whatever else.
100%.
We're going to put the tickets in the hands of people that can go and appreciate it.
But did you see where Dennis Johnson set last night to watch Jasper in his first ever game at Ruff Arena?
me about that. Jasper Johnson's dad, why did he sit at the top? He always does. He's done that since
Jasper was a kid. He'll sit as high as he can sit, just a way far away from the action as he can.
So he went all over to the tippy top, top role of Rupp Arena to watch his son play his first game at Rupp Arena.
Is it because he's nervous?
I think any time your dad's watching your kids play, it's unbelievably nervous. And if you're down close, you maybe get caught up in the moment, maybe want to yell something.
And he sits by himself. He sits by himself. Yep, up at the top.
top.
I was confused.
When they get a sellout and there's people there, does he request a single?
I don't know.
Or does he, because last night, no, that whole end zone was in.
He just walked up there.
But will he, is that his official seat?
No, his official family seats are like down in the close.
He wasn't, he set up top.
I like it, though.
I get it.
Like, be a man where nobody's bothering you.
I totally get it.
Who's next?
Chris.
Chris, go ahead, Chris.
Hey guys, I appreciate you taking my call.
First time I've ever been on air.
I'm sitting over here at UK Hospital.
I just had open art surgery on the 20th.
And I was just calling to see how can somebody come up with a couple of tickets to see UK basketball?
I would love to go to me.
We don't, yeah.
I mean, we don't do requests for tickets, but I will say this.
I'm glad.
I hope your recovery is.

listening, and hopefully one day you can win tickets from us, and good luck, and come by and see
us sometime, okay?
All right.
Thank you.
Thank you, sir.
Appreciate it.
Well, glad your surgery went well.
32, Shannon.
That's young for having an open heart surgery.
Yeah.

Steve Burns, Dustin Ross,

Absolutely.

Andy Bashir
says
that the non-fatalities
are
at the airport that will likely
grow by one,
but some people are still missing.
He said it could
have hit the Ford factory or
convention center at which point it would have been a much worse disaster which that really is hard
to imagine right i mean they the for as i understand and i could be wrong about this i guess
it can take off two different ways or whatever and if it had been going the other way it would
have hit the ford factory where it was the night shift i mean you can't even imagine like what
that would have been i didn't realize that was a scenario that could have possibly happened so
just awful.
Every news it comes out
just seems to get worse and worse.
Yeah.
I mean, seriously, think about
Shannon what has happened,
like what he's had to deal with
since he was the governor,
just in terms of tragedy.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Start with COVID.
Yeah, COVID.
I mean, we're all,
Mayfield tornado.
Yeah, right?
Yeah, flooding.
Flutting.
Twice.
London tornado.
Right.
This is kind of amazing.
If you think about, I mean, that's just, that's six years, right?
I mean, that's six years.
It's not even been that long.
He's had to go through more, like, than any other governor that I can remember in my lifetime.
Just one thing after another, you know.
The tornadoes have changed.
Like, now we are tornado alley, which didn't used to be the case.
Like, when I was a kid, you thought of tornadoes, what did you think about?
Like, Iowa and Oklahoma, right?
Kansas.
Yeah. Kansas.
And now that tornado alley, it feels like it.
is us. It feels like Kentucky has become tornado alley. And so, yeah, it's just, it's, it's sad.
859-280-2287. We play Valpo. You know, you, you thought Nichols, Drew, was the hardest team in the
BBN Classic. You feel better about Valpo on Friday. I think they'll be about the same.
They were rated pretty similar in Ken Palm. Eastern Illinois looked to be the,
worst of the three and I mean
they nearly won that game so that's the one
I will say my power ranking
we have questions right now the day after
but so far it looks like
Valpo and Nichols
are very comparable
and Eastern Illinois a little better than
I expected because they were ranked 330th
out of 360
yeah they
I'm excited though just to see
Jalen Lowe ultimately
that's the thing that
I want to see. Pope seems to suggest he'll
play. That's ultimately for me, Jalen Lowe is the season, so I want to see him on the court.
A lot of you have been asking me about the name of the book I talked about yesterday,
the North Korean book. I've had a bunch of people writing. It's, again, without you,
there is no us. That's the name of the book that I was talking about yesterday, if you're interested.
Who's next? Douglas.
Douglas. Go ahead, Douglas.
As far as Andy Bashir, you're forgetting also about the mass shooting at the National Bank in
Louisville.
Oh, yeah.
That's exactly right.
That was with Craig.
Yeah.
But go ahead.
And then have you all talked about three eye Atlas?
It is only, it's only the third interstellar object that's ever come into our solar
system.
And there's a Harvard professor who published a paper where he suggested, based on all this
anomalous behavior of it, it could be some sort of action.
extraterrestrial craft in the sense that it has non-gravitational acceleration they've noticed they've
noticed that it's come it's taken a path where it is like at the closest point to jupiter mars earth
and venus uh that it could take okay all right so and they're saying a lot of words are you saying to me
that they that there are people out there that believe there's a craft right now that could be an
alien well they or they're suggesting that it could be a ship that has been sent from a
more advanced society to come observe the different planets.
Okay.
So who is, when you say someone is to,
you're saying a professor at Harvard is suggesting it?
His name's like Avi Loeb.
Yes, he's an astronomer.
Okay.
Now, Drew, you seem to know something about this.
Oh yeah,
I even brought this up one day while you're out to let everyone know that we do have a
ship approaching.
When you say approaching, it's coming here.
Yeah, they even have like a time frame of when it would be near.
So when do they think it's getting here?
I'll have to look it back up.
It's been a while.
I just saw they added Kim Kardashian to the research team, which kind of took a hit for our PR.
I don't know if that helps the case.
You're making that.
You're making that up.
They added Kim Kardashian to the research team?
Yeah.
What does that mean?
That means exactly how it sounds.
That's not great.
It's not great for our PR.
Wait, who, hang on just a second.
Who added her to the team?
Asa.
Avi Loeb, I believe is his name.
The guy, the collars mentioned.
The professor at,
Harvard added Kim Kardashian to the research.
He's losing credibility here.
As of yesterday, I believe so.
Just for the record, Shannon, I did not believe in it to begin with.
But if this dude added Kim Kardashian, then I'm out.
Yeah, what is she real?
All right, I shouldn't have brought that up.
Let's focus on the matter of hand.
This thing is not moving like a normal comment.
It's taking turns.
I think that's a pretty big factor, but go ahead.
Katie Perry at least has been to space.
Why not sign her up?
Yeah, well, listen, why isn't Schiello in person?
part of the research team too.
All right, go ahead. Finish what you were saying, Drew. What's the story about it?
It is, NASA says it's a comet. But other people like my guy, Avi, Avi, and now Kim Kardashian,
who I'll leave out of this, they have noticed it's turning and doing things, comments aren't
supposed to do. So there are people making the case that, hey, this might not be a comet.
So when's it supposed to get here? When's it supposed to get here?
Let me see when it's landing.
I feel like that's a pretty big piece of information.
I think if you watch the new season of keeping up with Kardashians,
they might say when it's coming.
Here we go.
When will it pass Earth?
December 19th is what I'm seeing here.
December 19th this year.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Right before Christmas.
Can I make a prediction?
Can I make a prediction?
Yes.
On December 19th, nothing will have happened.
How's that?
Does anyone want to take that bet?
No.
Does anyone who want to be the person that says,
on December 19th, something's going to happen.
No.
When you say something, what do you mean?
I don't think it's where we're going to get hit with a laser or anything.
Well, what are you thinking is going to happen?
I don't know.
I'm waiting for Kim to tell me.
She just got on the team yesterday.
Give her some time, Matt.
Wait a minute.
Hang on just a second.
She guys just got on the team yesterday.
I'm pretty sure I saw this on Twitter.
Why did they put her on the team?
What was their reasoning?
The headline here says,
alien comet investigator wants Kim Kardashian to join research team.
Why?
For a potentially hostile comet.
Maybe if there is another life form, we need someone to speak for our planet.
No.
It can't be her.
Who else is out there?
She does not get to speak for the planet.
What you want, Kendall?
She's a lovely person.
Courtney?
It's got to be killed.
Bruce Jenner.
Kayla Jenner is who I would say.
Are you being serious about this?
I'm on New York Post.com, which I know it's got some wacky stuff.
No, no, that's fair.
I'll take that.
You're telling me that they've added Kim Kardashian to the Harvard professor, for real, added Kim Kardashian to the thing.
Here you go.
World News.
It's labeled World News November 4th, 2025, 133 p.m.
Headlot, Kim Kardashian invited to join research team for 3I.
Atlas Comet, which scientists fear could contain alien life.
Okay, but what is there reason for adding her?
Like, why would they want her? Let's keep up with the Comet. We keep up with the Kardashians.
Now we need the Kardashians to keep up with the Comet.
I feel like we've got a reality show here.
I'm going to have to read this when this is over because this sounds like that.
I believe Drew, I think Drew, unlike Ryan, knows how to sort through fake news, Shannon.
I don't love the Kim part. The Kim part is not good.
This is, come on.
Stop.
Maybe Kim Kardashian's an alien.
Just watch the skies.
There's some funny business going on.

there has to be more to this story.
The Kim Car...
So, they think it's coming
and they think what is going to happen.
It says no impact. Nothing will happen.
Well, that's what NASA says, but my guy Avey says this thing.
It's the size of Manhattan, and it's coming right for us.
And it turns. It might even have lights.
All right.
And Kim Kay is going to get to the bottom of it.
It's time, Matt.
Hey, we will see you tomorrow.
Cats get a big win over Nichols.
