On the text machine, one person writes, Matt, I'm sitting here with my wife,

and she is very worried that if you buy a house, that no one will take care of your landscaping, and it will turn into being gross. Will you assure her that you will? Yeah. That's why they have people that do that for you. You have a pool guy, have a landscaping guy, get it all taken care of it for you.

I don't know who those guys are, though. Somebody will have to tell me. We'll hook you up. You'll find them. You do? We have people. You got people? I got people.

Okay. They didn't have a room in there where I feel like I could put a studio. Yes. For, you know, a radio. Nice area for that. Yeah. You get Mario. Your chair in the kitchen in their house?

Yeah. I mean, the house I'm in now, we can't. Mario's not allowed to put the chair in the middle of the kitchen like he did last time. There are two priorities when Matt's looking at a house. Where am I going to put my shoes? Where am I going to put my books? It's got a lot of both. And it's true.

Especially the books. Because now the books are like, they're my one thing. So you've got to make sure there's a place for it. It can be like a library, have a nice. There's like a good man cave area. It's a good like outside watch TV. Outdoor grill. Oh, there you go, the grill.

I'm big on the grill. All right, let's talk about a couple things here real quick. First of all, the UK basketball recruiting question. I keep getting some version of this and the thing. basically saying, Matt, you were on a kick talking about UK basketball recruiting issues. You've stopped. Why? And that's, I think, a completely fair question.

I still have the same worries about the UK basketball recruiting. I'm, if anything, more worried about it now than I was because less and less time is coming. Now, with that said, I have just accepted we're not going to get any high school players. If we do, that's fine. I think you can say without question in terms of high school basketball recruiting, unless something changes with Tyrant Stokes or Christian Collins, it's an epic fail by UK. Whether that is the failure of the coaching staff, clearly the coaching staff plays some role in it. I mean, whether it's 50%, 30%, 100%, the coaching staff is part of the failure.

It is a failure when you at one point led on three of the top ten guys and you ended up with none of them. And when two of the top ten guys had ties to Kentucky and you ended up with none of them. That's a failure. To what extent are there circumstantial factors, whether it's with JMI or U.K. I have thoughts on that. I have taken a step back to try to understand and have given, especially JMI, a lot of time. to try to help me understand. That has not been something that's happened much.

I kept thinking it would and it really hasn't. So when we get to portal season, if it's still an issue, you'll be hearing me rail on it, all right? Thing is, though, the season's still going on. There's two and a half weeks left in the tournament, so there'll be plenty of time. But don't get me wrong,

my worry about recruiting is still there. It is an epic, epic fail that we have no players. Epic fail. Now, the portal, they might go kill the portal. So maybe it'll work itself out. But it doesn't excuse what was an epic failure of high school recruiting. I will go so far as to say it's two years of epic failure. You got the most talented freshman class in the history of college basketball,

and we don't really have any of them. Malachi's been great. I love Malachi. But the first nine picks of the draft will all be freshmen, and somehow we didn't get any of them. And we were in on a couple of them. And then you take the next year's class and you follow it up with zero. That's a tremendous failure.

And Mark Pope and UK and JMI need to own that. When the season's over, I will confront Mark about it. I'm going to confront Mitch about it if he ever talks to us again. But it's a disaster. And if they try to say otherwise, they're just wrong. Well, I'm ready for the spin. It's coming. There's no spin.

But get ready. They'll have their portal hall and say they'll act like they weren't interested in the freshman class when it hadn't been two weeks since we visited Stoke. And they've tried with all these guys and have dropped the ball with a lot of them. There was guys, it was in the final hour, were national people, not even us around here, people that are completely unbiased. They're like, yep, about done with Kentucky and player X, whether that was Stokes in October or Collins and then didn't, or it looked like not going to end up with any other.

And they may get a great portal class. I mean, they may get a great portal class and it doesn't end up mattering. But all you got to do, this is what I would say, Ryan, when you rely solely on the portal, that might work. But then you also might have a scenario like this year where it doesn't quite work. Kind of works, but doesn't really. Wouldn't it be nice to have, in addition to Malachi another star freshman? Wouldn't that be not?

If Caleb Wilson was on this team. Like, what if Caleb, just imagine you put Caleb Wilson on this team, how different it would have been. Another one they lost in the final moments. They lost in the final moments. So I don't care what they say. I'm just going to tell you, I don't care what any of them say when the season's over. They tried to get these guys, and they did not get them. And this is Kentucky, and Kansas, again, look at the top teams.

Kansas has Darren Peterson. North Carolina has Caleb Wilson. Duke has Cameron Boozer. Tennessee's got Nate Aitman. What's the guy? Yukon has one of them. Tennessee has Nate Aitman. Cal has Darius A. C.

Houston. Houston has Kingston Fleming's. Okay? BYU, where Mark Pope came from, has A.J. DeBonsa. We didn't get any of them. There is no excuse. and whatever it is that led to that has to be fixed. If it's Mark, then it's Mark.

If it's JMI, then it's JMI. If it's, as I think, kind of both, then they both need to be fixed. And I, so just because I'm not talking about it doesn't mean I don't feel it. My passion is still the same on it. I decided to kind of hold my fire to give Jay. I thought it was reasonable to give JMI a chance to help me understand, the fans. Nobody understands still two months later what the situation is. No one. They did one interview during a broadcast and, you know, I found it a little helpful but not much. And Mitch is

M-I-A. Mitch is M-I-A. When his Mitch doesn't speak. Enough, Matt. Enough. He's M-I. Enough. He's, like literally Mitch is nowhere ever. Except staying in a in the corner in the basketball game where fans can't get to talk. I'm not saying fans he needs to make himself available to fans, but he needs to talk. And the last time we saw him in public, he was yelling at a report. So, you know, so if that's not clear, I still have opinions, I do. It's just I don't think the average person wants to just hear me rant about that every day. Well, you kind of hit on the most disappointing thing to me is like if they were leading with Wilson,

leading with Stokes, leading with Collins, why are they having so much trouble closing the deals? and it's not a one-off thing. This has happened last year. It's happening this year. This will be the conversation in April and May. And someone has to answer to that. What's going to end up happening? Mark's going to take it all on his shoulders.

But I personally don't believe it's all Mark. I think it's partially Mark. I think Mark is having a hard time figuring this out and figuring out how to connect to some of these guys, and he has a staff full of college recruiters, even though he needs people to talk to agents, and it's just not, but I don't think it's all mark. I don't.

And I think, you know, but right now, their solution, which has been their solution to every problem since COVID, which is say nothing. That's been the solution. Say nothing at all. And that's the worst solution that you can have, but they've done.

it for six years about everything. So I'm not surprised it's the same thing here. You know, that article that the guys wrote this summer, Jack and those guys talked about people saying how they got to the closing table and Mark was just like... Well, I'll say this about Jack and Jacob. Jack and Jacob

and me, even though I didn't write it, but Jack and Jacob especially took a lot of crap for that article. We have now had multiple national media members confirm that everything they said in that article was true. Jack and Jacob took a lot of crap from the fan base, from some parts of the fan base and some other folks,

and Rob Doster and Jeff Goodman and Matt Norlander have all said what they say is correct. So Jack and Jacob, you know, people don't like bad news. They don't. But sometimes the bad news is needed to be heard. And with that, who's next? Let's go to Jordan. Jordan. Hey, how are we doing this morning, guys?

Doing good. This is actually a pretty good segue. I was at the game Tuesday night, and I have a pretty funny story about Mitch Barnhart. Go for it. We were sitting in Section 33, like row three, right behind the Kentucky bench. And me and my buddy, we've always wanted these seats, and we finally got them. And, you know, Mitch just stands in that corner the whole game. So we're there in pregame warm up, hanging out, having a good time.

And there's this woman and her son that's sitting right in front of us. and she looks at Mitch and she's like, hey, excuse me, would you mind taking a picture with us? And he was like, yeah, sure. So he takes the phone and flips it around to take a selfie. And she goes, no, no, no.

I mean, can you just take a picture of me and my son? Oh, no. That's brutal. And my face, my face was just like a date. She didn't know who he was. Yeah, that's that. Well, I, yeah, I talked to her. I'm like, did you know who that was?

And she goes, no. I'm like, well, that's the athletic director. That's funny, though. You know, I've had that happen a couple times with me, to be fair. I appreciate the call where somebody said, can you take a picture? And I thought they meant with me, and they just literally meant for me to take the picture. My favorite story about that is in the Bahamas with Jay Billis, when my friend, Turkey Hunter and Hubby decided to screw with Jay Billis.

And they went up to him and said, well, you take a picture. He hated him the phone. and then just stood there, like not posing with him. But Jay Billis was quick on his feet. Rather than take a picture of Humby and Moore, he just took a picture of his own face and handed it back to him, which I thought was a good response. He realized they were screwing with him,

and then he just did it back to him, which I like that. I remember that move they did. I actually felt some anxiety for Mitch in that situation of that's got to be so awkward. Also, maybe be out there a little bit more so people know who you are. Yeah. Well, yeah. Who's next? What a hit to the ego.

Chee-Hoo. Chi-Woo, go ahead. Chewoo. Hey. Go ahead. So, first of all, with the bears, they're going to stay in the, they're going to go to Arlington Heights.

Why do teams, okay, if you replaced all the Chicago Bears, so if you replaced Swift and DJ, what would you get and how much better would you be without them? Those are key players. Why do the Chicago Bears always do that? Well, I mean, you and I can have a Bears talk off air. I don't know that the fans want to hear us break down the Bears roster.

But go ahead. Okay, so University of Kentucky basketball, men's, look, we got big man. We keep guards or guards. Yes, scores are scores, but every game that we play where we get beat and hammered, their big guys beat our big guys. I mean, our big guys, they're skilled players, they play hard, but they're soft as prescription bottle cotton. Listen, I appreciate to call Chi Wood.

I do think they're soft sometimes, but then sometimes I don't, but there are games where they play soft. Mo is not soft, but I do think sometimes Malachi needs to be a little stronger and tougher, and Garrison and Yelovich have been soft for sure. I think Malachi's turned a corner a little bit on that. The last three games for him was a gauntlet of Tennessee, Florida, and then Sompto. That's about as nasty as you're going to see in the SEC, even though he lost two of those games. I did think he was a little more physical than he had been.

He tried to dunk that ball at Florida that sent Goose going crazy on the radio. But hopefully that continues moving forward when maybe the game. competition and as tough as those guys they just went through. You know, the Florida front court better than probably most front courts in the whole country, and our big guys did fairly well against the, that's not what beat us. The back court beat us against Florida. But I do think the front

course hurt us against Georgia with with here's reality in Kentucky. If people can't afford child care or a place to live, they can't take jobs, etc. Housing and child care is important and it's not political talking points, it's a workforce problem.

I was wrong on those files. I thought, like, it won't be as big as people. I was wrong. Like, there's a ton. Every day, more things come out. Like, every day. and the idea that you wouldn't go look. I mean, they just arrested in England the king's brother.

The king's brother. And like most of the people in there are still doing their jobs, like still doing their jobs. And I'm shocked. And I'm shocked that the people who for years demanded that people do, like have stopped. I don't get it. But the Dowell's up, Matt. But I mean, I credit. Yeah.

And the Attorney General gets up there and goes, how are you not talking about the Dowell? being up. Well, I mean, I hadn't really thought about it. I mean, yeah, that's definitely on point to this issue. But, you know, a lot of things have happened in the last couple years that I wouldn't wouldn't have thought happened. One person writes, Matt, are you all going to see Wuthering Heights? Ryan, I'll let you answer that. Are you going to go see what today? Apparently a very hot, hot thriller, romantic

Margo Robbie. I heard it's very hot, very steamy. I will only go... See, you don't say steamy. It's for lovers, right, right? Yeah. For lovers. Yeah, baby.

It's awful. I will only go if yoga girl makes me go. Yeah. Apparently they have, like, very... What I read is, the thing is, it's like, very hot, you know, sex scenes, but everyone keeps their clothes on. Oh, how is that one working?

It's interesting. I don't know. I mean, I didn't learn it that way. What do you mean? You learned Weather and Heights? No, no, we don't want to know Brian's next statement. Yeah, I mean, you read Weather and Heights in life. He's not talking about the book.

No, no. Oh, okay. We got kind of off. That's good. Shut up. Who's next? That was going to be a good conversation. You ruined it.

You saw it. You saw where he was going. I can't even talk about Emily Bronte in front of this person. Charlene. Charlene. How are you, Charlene? Hi, I'm doing fine. Thank you, Matt. The reason I'm calling is talking about recruiting.

NIL has introduced an element into college basketball that competes with something Mark Pope hopes very sacred, which is the lure of playing with Kentucky basketball. And now that has diminished, you know, the value we brought to. to college basketball. Well, he's got to get over. He's got to get over that, though, Charlene. He's got to get over. I know he does.

And I disagree with you that it's diminished it because here's my question. If it's diminished it so much, why are Duke, Carolina, and Kansas getting these guys? Clearly there's value to being a power program. Duke Carolina and Kansas are getting these guys. We're not. We are the only. That is a good counterpoint. But maybe Mark Pope is reliant.

Well, get over it, Mark Pope. If Mark, get over it. Get over it, Mark. It's about the almighty dollar, too. If that's what it is, and I don't know if it is or not. But if we're not getting players, because Mark Pope is still selling the jersey in a time that that doesn't work, then he needs to do something else.

You know, I mean, I may have been the best ever CD seller. And I hold, and I held sacred. the values of selling CDs. But the moment it went to digital music, then I need to change those values to the digital era, or I will be left behind. You know, to put it a different way, and I appreciate the call, Charlotte.

There was a time that basketball wasn't integrated, and Adolf Rupp and Bear Bryant were legends when basketball wasn't integrated. And then it was. and you either adapt or you do not. And then you go, and then there was a time where television wasn't a part of watching sports. And then it was. And you can sit there and act like it's not going to be the way it was.

You have to adapt. Kentucky, on issues of race, we took too long, both morally and then on the court, we suffered for that. Tennessee took too long to address the television, like the modern television era in Nebraska, and they've suffered for that in football, right? So it is now up to us to decide in this next era of basketball, are we going to be a blue blood or not? We have a decision to make. And if we are making structural decisions that make that not happen,

whether it's asking players to sign contracts no one else is asking, having a coach selling something that these players don't want anymore, we have a decision. Do we want to be part of the future, or do we not? Right? Do we want to be Blockbuster Video? I mean, think about Netflix. Netflix's business model when it first opened was what, Ryan?

They sent something to the mail. They sent you stuff in the mail, and that's what worked. and then all of a sudden streaming came and Netflix had a decision to make. Are we still going to be the mail company? Are we going to be the streaming company? And they became the streaming company and now they're the biggest thing in the world.

We have that decision to make too. Yeah, and in that story Jacob and Jack did, someone was quoted in recruitment saying exactly all that. It even says, I don't care where my kid's going. Are you going to do what you told me you would do? Like they even says Pope was way too emotional in things. I assume talking about, you know,

the jersey. It's like at the end of the day, what is he getting and are you going to follow through with your end of the deal wherever that school is? So, yeah, that may not be how it was with Mark, and I understand. And you might think the, you might think black and white television was better than Keller television, but it ain't going back. So do you want to be part of it, Ryan, or not? I think there's some truth in what you were saying, and I think they better get it fixed quickly because everybody else has figured it out. Why is it taking us so long to figure it out? That's hard, GM. That's what annoys me. It's not, it doesn't, It doesn't annoy me that, like, BYU has all this money and now they're involved or whatever.

It annoys me that our fellow Blue Blood programs, and the Blue Buds right now, in my opinion, are Kansas, Duke, North Carolina, and Yukon, and us. Those four have figured it out. Why haven't we? That's the question. That's it. That's it. End this story.

Oh, I didn't know this. So that... El Mariachi, Ryan. Really? But the one thing that's been there forever was that liquor store. Yes. Almost everybody that went to UK, probably the first time you bought alcohol was at that liquor store right there on the corner of it. You're smiling.

Am I wrong about that? See, you know I'm right. That liquor store, that has been sold to UK. I have to think when I saw that was being sold, that will be part of some sort of future practice facility, dorm for sports. I mean, it's so close to Memorial Coliseum, I've got to think that is for some sort of future thing having to do with UK athletics. You know, you hear the buzz that maybe they're going to have to build another lodge.

Maybe they build a new lodge and tear the old one down and create, build something on that side of it. Yeah, it's all right there. All that stuff there, they said that basically UK said they would let whoever's there finish their lease, but it looked like it might be it for all those things. Yeah, the liquor store, I mean, Lana's closed recently. but that was an iconic spot for UK. No, not there.

Excuse me. Yeah, I'll list of those that are on down. But, I mean, the places that have been in that spot, some have closed in the last couple years, but that is an iconic little, I guess, shopping spot you would call it. More restaurants. The liquor store's been there for how long as I've been in town. It's been there.

I mean, that liquor store has been there since I was in college. I mean, so. There's always been like a little taco shop or Mexican shop or something there forever. Pizza. I think there's a place called Bangkok House there now that students love. I've not been, but it seems popular. Yeah, so that's going to go away. And I do think that's ultimately probably for some sort of athletic.

The Harold Leader pointed out this morning that could also be they've had that entertainment, retail dining thing they're considering. Yeah, but that's not close to the football stadium. I mean, if the goal of the retail thing is to get people to the football stadium, that's far away. I mean, that's farther away than KS Bar. That's way far away. So that might be what they want to do, but that wouldn't seem to be a tough spot because

That would be a tough spot. That place is known for like people can't get here. Even El Mariachi, we know them well. Like they struggle getting people that aren't foot traffic. Because you can't park. Yeah, it's a horrible spot to park. There's nowhere to park. So I wouldn't think that'd be where that is, but maybe.

Did you, there are people who say yesterday, Ryan, it was the most exciting day of hockey in the history of the sport. Four quarter final games, three of which came down to the last. second, USA and Canada, both on the verge of defeat, both win in exciting fashion. Did you watch India? I just saw the highlights, highlights only. So now I don't know the other, the United States and Canada? The U.S. plays Slovakia, and Canada plays Finland.

So USA and Canada are still favorites, but those teams are good. Both those teams have a lot of people in the NHL. My Carolina Hurricanes have like six people from Finland on their team. So didn't some big time player get hurt for Canada? Sidney Crosby. That's right. The biggest time player. But he says he'll be back.

Oh, okay. But did you see that both games, they won on three on three? Remember I've talked about how they go to overtime, they do a three on three. Both teams won in three on three. Maybe there's other schools. Other sports to follow the same path. That sort of thing. Canada plays Villanova in the next round of the tournament.

But everybody wants USA Canada, right? Oh, yeah. That's what everybody wants. So the two winners beginning in the gold medal game, right then? They do, yes. How much Winter Olympics do we have left? I feel like we're nearing the end, but I have no idea. I've enjoyed it.

It ends Sunday. Okay. It ends Sunday. So tonight they start the first ever. It's a new event. It's called the ski. What's it called? It's like called Skittacular or something.

It's like Ski-Ville. Ski-Mountain. Ski-Mountain. Ski mountaineering. There you go. You ski uphill in one kind of skis, and then you have to run up the steps. And your skis? No, you take the skis off, so you're carrying downhill skis, but you're skiing on uphill skis.

Then you get to some steps, you take off your uphill skis, you run up the steps, then you put on your downhill skis and you ski downhill. I'm questioning. You ski uphill? What do you mean? How do you ski up hill? That's a great question. How do you ski uphill?

The same way you ski, you just, you just ski. You put one foot in front of the other and go. Have you ever skied uphill before? No, but I've seen people do it. Like ski uphill. Not, I mean, not like steep uphill, but you just ski upward. It's not like they go up the downhill trek. Yeah.

They're just skiing up a mountain. It seems like to be kind of difficult with skis. Try to go uphill. It would be harder to walk in snow. So it is... What is the thing you're not able to comprehend? Skiing uphill. The skis are designed for the speed to go down.

No, there's other skis. People used to use skis to move. So, like, they would ski... The ones that look like tennis rackets? Those kind of... No, skis. Just skis. Regular ski.

Have you not been watching this? There have been people ski... Okay, just think about this. You know how people ski on flat ground? Yes. Now they just go uphill. That seems a little bit difficult. Well, yeah, that's the point.

I mean, to me it makes perfect sense. Here we go. UK complainant again. It's one of my biggest UK athletics complaints. Basketball should have 50 throwbacks in alternates. I know people don't love wearing black or silver, but like the denim's. I know last year we brought the 93s back, but what took so long? Football, you've probably got all kinds of stuff.

too. That's the fun things about college sports. Hell, you can make your money, sell them in the bookstore. Bring this stuff out of the closet. And football, like basketball, people have this nostalgic tradition that they hesitate to deviate from the old colors and the old uniforms. And I get it, but football doesn't have that. Football, you have the freedom to try anything, right? And so I say, go for it. Oregon tries stuff. Sometimes it's hideous. Sometimes it's hideous. But they the policy of we're only going to use it once a year so if it's hideous well we'll have a different one next time people love it especially UK football of all sports we got on campus the one that maybe could help do that to make a little a sexy look for a recruit is football change up the

uniform so I hope they do I don't know if they will excuse me but I hope they do and even if they only do one you know the old time old timers have been asking for the power k uniform forever I think you do it just for them I mean why not One of the group of people that feels the least like served are old-time UK football fans who are like, I've been doing this forever, and they've taken my parking, and they've made it harder, and I've gotten worse seats, and I can't sit with my friends. Yeah. Okay, well, here's something you could do that would be reaching out to them that's really easy to do.

Just bring back the uniforms that they love. Guys like Freddie will probably tear up if they do something like that. They love that Power K look, and I think it's a great tribute to those guys. So I think, yes. I think, sir, that is an absolutely great idea and should be done. We'll see if it ends up. And I think Will Stein is a guy who will push stuff like that. Yeah, you do.

He was on that because that's different than the other kind of contract that the Baylor kid was on. Well, anyway, if he were eligible, I would say if I had a year with Khalil Whitney, let's do it, man.

We don't have anything. Everybody else right next year. There are players. So, you know. I think our fan base would absolutely love that kid if he came and played one year here after way he left or he left the first time. I think they would love it. Support him.

No he's not going This would be this would probably be a solo trip I appreciate the call if I were to do it But I'm contemplated going and seeing the undefeated Red Hawks tomorrow I saw the remainder of their schedule

very, very winnable. They just won their hardest game. They won at UMass, which was the one that So they're probably going to go into the tournament undefeated. But that raises the question of if they lose in the conference final. I think you still got to put them in. I'd rather see them get in there to one-lost team after going undefeating the regular season than the ninth seed from.

So I want you to put your money where your mouth is, big boy. All right, I'm ready. Let's say we lose out. and we're 17 and 14. And we are ahead of them in the net and the RPI, but they're undefeated. Do you want the NCAA? There's a world we could be the team that is being debated against them. Do you think an undefeated Miami of Ohio team would be worth taking in?

Let's say we win one more. Let's say we finish 9 and 9, which is genuinely a possibility. and we're 18 and 13, and we're on the bubble, and they're the other choice. Who gets in? Well, Kentucky gets in that aspect. No, I'm going to pick Kentucky. But we would, in my scenario. Let's pick another school.

In my scenario, Ryan, we would be the ninth place team in the SEC. We're the ninth place team in the SEC, and they're 31 and now they're 33 and 1 because they losing the finals of the Mac. Of course, I'm going to lean with Kentucky. but if it was like Georgia. But your literal argument was ninth place team. I meant to say 10th. I meant to say 10th.

They can be 10th. It's unlikely we'll be 10th. But we could be 9th. There's a world where we could be 9th. I'm different than Ryan. I don't even consider putting them in if they don't win their conference tournament. You can't reward playing a bunch of nobody.

So they have one win inside the top 140. Every team they beat but one is ranked outside of the top 140. You can't set a standard of Just schedule the easiest teams you can. Yeah. Shannon, are you letting them in? That's a clue. God.

Yeah. No, no. I'll put Kentucky in, I think. I mean, I'm putting Kentucky in. I mean, the reality is, if we were to play them, we're better than that. We'd win a playing game. That's what we should do.

Playing game in Dayton, it'd be the most popular game ever. If Kentucky played Miami of Ohio in Dayton, oh, my goodness. That would be wild. But the whole country would be rooting for them. They would. Like, no one would be rooting for us. No one in America that's not a Kentucky man would be rooting for us.

Every single fan. It would be an ESPN, like, story for three days. The entire United States would be rooting for Miami, Ohio. And would our fans even go? I think we'd be so disappointed. Oh, we'd go. I mean, if we'd not, it'll be full of their fans. It's Ohio.

Well, I'm hard no if they don't win their tournament, because then there are arguments, undefeated arguments out. Like, these are the rules. The team that wins the conference championship gets in. It's interesting. Who's next? Let's go to Tudy.

But for me, I always thought the sound the guy made and Hal Pacino made and Sin of a Woman was funny. don't know if Drew was old enough or not, but I listened to her.

She was a syndicated sports call-in host. Now, Ryan is old. I listen to her on a little AM radio station out of Madisonville. Yeah, right. Nice. Oh, okay, that's the matter. WFMW, probably. Yeah, I appreciate the call.

You remember the fabulous sports babe. I didn't listen to her. I listen to the fabulous sports babe probably every day for several years. Was she good? She had great guests. She was kind of entertaining. But, like, she'd get an athlete on, like, say you were an athlete, hey, Matt, you know, Cincinnati Reds and outfield, what's going on with all that and everything?

That was her question? That would be her question. What's going on with all that? You know, what are you doing up there? How is that all that? That sounds like a very good show. No. Well, her interview skills weren't the best, but it was a fun, entertaining show because she usually had a lot of good guests on.

He just said she didn't ask them a good question. No, but the guests were good. You would take that question and not embarrass her, and you'd go ahead and answer it respectfully. It is interesting that the first national syndicated sports radio show was a woman. I don't think a lot of people realized that. And she was not a babe. I was wondering. P.
