One of the biggest misconceptions about buying a home right now is that you have to wait for the perfect moment, perfect rates, perfect timing, perfect market.
The truth is, that moment doesn't really exist.
A lot of buyers pause because of headlines or assumptions, but every situation is different.
Race change, market shift, and personal goals matter just as much as what's happening nationally.

Welcome back here, Kentucky Sports Radio.
You got this.
Drew?
There you go.
Nice.
There we go.
Welcome back here live at Tin Roof.
For those of you that are just joining us on regular time, it's Kentucky.
Sports Radio trip to Nashville for the SEC tournament.
Bert Tavern Bourbon and Clayton and Kroom are sponsoring.
And we decided to go into the crowd.
We got a massive crowd today.
And what I love about KSR's audience, Ryan, it's very diverse.
We got old, young, Easter, Kentucky, Western Kentucky,
city, rural.
And to show that, we brought our youngest and oldest crowd
member in the crowd today.
Let's start with the youngest.
Nine years old.
Give a big round of applause.
What's your name?
Linley.
To Linley, nine years old.
Now, Lindley, where are you from?
Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Now, you're supposed to have school today, right?
Did you skip school?
At a girl.
Yeah.
Smart.
And, Lindley, why did you skip school?
To come here.
To come here.
Okay.
Now, are you a Kentucky fan?
Yes.
Who's your favorite player?
Trent.
Trent Noah.
All right, Lily, we need a big game from Trent Noah.
He didn't even play yesterday.
Wouldn't it be nice if today they put him in and he nailed a three for you?
Yes.
All right, that's what I liked here?
What's your favorite?
Do you remember, what's your favorite Kentucky moment?
Colin Chandler's stuck.
Colin Chandler's.
And look, it's on his shirt.
It's on his shirt right there.
How about that?
All right.
Now, this, I wouldn't have guessed you a year over 31, ma'am.
But 84 years old, what's your name?
Judy.
Judy.
Give a big round of applause to Judy.
All right, Judy, where are you from?
Danville, Kentucky.
Danville, Kentucky.
Now, how long have you been a UK fan?
82 years.
82 years.
Those first two years you weren't interested, right?
Who is your, what's your favorite team that you remember?
Kentucky.
No, I mean, I know that, but like, which specific Kentucky team?
Probably the year we had COVID, and we lost the first game, and we should have won the whole turn.
That was your favorite team?
That was one of mine, yes.
Oh, you mean?
Okay, not the team that went 13 and 20.
You're talking about the Tyrese Maxi team, right?
Why did you like them?
I don't just, we were really good.
We were really good.
Now, you are from Danville.
What do you do?
I work for Walmart.
You work for Walmart? Oh, you know this guy next to you. His dream has been to be a Walmart
greeter. I want to be a Walmart greeter when I grow up. I give you a reference. Okay.
He'll give him a reference. You heard him cuss earlier. Would you still give him a reference?
Absolutely. They don't allow that at Walmart, do they? Yes. Oh, they told. It is Danville.
Well, over the years, you've seen all those people, which player, which,
play was your favorite? Over the years? Yes. Is there one you thought was particularly handsome?
Yeah, Shepard. Shepard? Oh, dad or son? Or both? Both. Both. Both. I like that. Read and Jeff.
Well, how many years you've been to the SEC tournament? About 22. 22. That's awesome.
That's great. What's your favorite SEC tournament memory?
the year we won the SEC tournament.
Well, we've won a bunch of them.
Well, it was about nine years ago.
Okay, it's probably been about that long.
Yeah.
Well, first of all, I love this.
Nine years old, 84 years old.
Also, two women.
The most sports radio shows don't have that either.
You guys, thank you all very much.
Do you listen to KSR regularly?
Oh, every day.
Every single day.
Do you think he should wash his mouth out?
No, I love it.
You love it.
You love...
It's Lindley. Come on.
She's Lindley. I'm sorry.
You're Judy.
Judy, you don't love when he talks about his underwear, do you?
Yes.
Oh, okay.
Well...
Pou-chicabow.
All right.
That's unfortunate.
What...
Do you think he should...
Do you think Lindley he should...
Stop cussing?
No.
No.
She doesn't know what to say.
What were you, what did you say I interrupted you?
Say it again, Judy.
Ryan's sexy.
Yeah.
I don't like that.
That's the worst thing you've ever done.
Thank you, Judy.
Judy and Lindley.
Thank you all very much.
It was very nice to meet you guys.
Thank you for coming up on stage.
There you go.
I really wish you had.
You're going to hold that over my head.
Ryan really has a way with the women, doesn't he?
I mean, he gets away with any.
anything. He's the only person that could get away with the stuff that he gets away with.
I wish that were not true, but you did. I have one little fact for you while we're getting
Drew and everybody back up here. Shannon, I just found this interesting about Kentucky.
Yeah. There is only what, they put this map out yesterday of what cars are sold the most in each state.
Did you see this map? No, I haven't seen it.
Okay. In the vast majority of the country, the most sold car,
is one brand, then in California and New York and some of those states, it's a different brand.
Kentucky, though, is the only state in America where the most sold car is a particular brand.
The only one.
Every other one is a different brand.
Can you guess what brand of car is sold in Kentucky, and it's the only state where it leads in sales?
Well, for some reason, I see a lot of Toyota Corolla's around.
I don't know if that's the answer.
Probably not.
Okay.
What do you think, Ryan?
I'm going to say Ford because everybody in Georgetown drives a Ford F-150.
So, yeah, Ford.
All right.
You know, my brain goes to Toyota, but I think it's too obvious, and Ryan took it.
I think I'm going to go forward here.
This is what I don't understand.
I couldn't believe.
Kentucky is the only state in the entire country that the most sold vehicle in the state is a Chevy.
A Chevy.
You're all wrong.
And I don't know who, I don't know who that is.
Do you?
No, I don't know anybody that drives one person.
You are?
Ma'am, you lead the charge.
There you go.
Ryan, you had a Chevy.
The vast majority of the states, it's Ford.
Tesla is in California, and then in the Northeast, it's like Toyota and Honda.
But we are the one state that it's apparently Chevy.
I had a Chevy Equinox for about six years to our rear-rended an ice truck and totaled it.
What have you not rear-ended at this point?
I like that you don't just hit a normal car.
You hit a Maserati, an ice truck.
Yaka.
right that is true you have hit an ice truck and a mazorati just since you've been doing this
show that's exactly right all right who's up next cameron is up next cameron go ahead cameron
hi guys uh i recently got contacted by friend who was like what are the chances that we go to ksr
and get drunk on a work day to watch the kentucky game and i said well uh ban at abio scored a three
points in a basketball game and brandon garrison hit back-to-back three-pointers so literally anything can
anything is possible. The cats are winning the SEC, and they're winning number nine on the back of
Brandon Garrison. Go cat. Yeah, well, I think you should also go. I appreciate the call. Today would be a good day. We had
had a bunch of people at KS Bar there watching yesterday. They were a little nervous and the vibes were
difficult, but they won, and we'll have it again today and hopefully continue it throughout the weekend.
Looks like a good crowd yesterday, and I'm in a weird spot. I don't get to march with you all, so I'm going to be at
KS Bar. This is my last ride.
here on this tournament.
So NCAA tournament, I'll be at KSbar, holding it down.
I can't get too far from UK hospital.
We're getting a little close to baby time.
So looking forward to.
Because of the baby, this will be the first NCAA tournament that Drew has to skip.
So it is just me, Ryan and Mario going on the road.
I'm looking forward to doing a March Maddus watch party, though.
I haven't done that in 15 years.
One person writes hearing Ryan is sexy from an 84-year-old Judy is the worst thing that's ever
happened on this show.
Oh, Judy knows.
Judy's got game.
You had a boy girl.
Another person says,
that's going to break that down for a minute.
That a boy girl.
Yeah.
He did say that a boy girl.
Had a boy girl.
Didn't he?
One person writes, Matt, where does O.A rank in the all-time UK players?
That's actually an interesting question.
Because O.A. ranks, I mean, if you just look at the numbers, Ryan,
O.A ranks a lot better than you think.
Okay, let's just start with points.
If Oway scores, I think it's like 56 more points this year,
which is very possible.
He will move in to be the second leading two-year score in U.K. history.
I want you to think about that.
Guys who've played two years, right now,
the only two players that have scored more points than Otega O'A
who only played two years are Bill Spivey and Antonio Reeves.
Those are the only two.
And he has a chance to pass Antonio Reeves.
It's going to be hard for him to pass Bill Spivey.
But he's got a chance to pass.
Appreciate the call.
Antonio Reeves.
Oh, wait, we're not, I think we're going to end up kind of like Drew with Antonio Reeves,
that we won't think of him.
O.A. is a star.
But he kind of is.
We take him for granted.
I mean, we all know this year hadn't been our normal Kentucky basketball experience.
I love them.
I hope they win today.
this probably won't be a team we're talking about 20 years from now.
No.
But Otega O'A just shows up and gets 20 points.
Just night after night.
Well, let's rank, let's just say post-COVID.
All right.
Post-COVID UK basketball players,
if you're just talking about when they played at Kentucky.
Oscar is probably number one because he was national player the year.
Has to be.
I think Antonio Reeves is two and I think O'A's three.
I think you could make a case.
And you could make a case always too.
You could make a case.
I mean, I don't think we think of it like that, Ryan,
but I actually think if you just look at production, that's true.
There's a guy that the summer before Pope's first year,
we talked about who was going to start.
Hardly ever mentioned OTAGA O.A.
He ends up being the leading score last year, leading score this year.
The guy does think, I'd hate to think what this team would be without him.
Put it that way.
I mean, two buzzer beaters.
Yes.
Well, one season last year.
But, I mean, it's not just that he shows up and scored.
He has big moments, but because this experience hadn't been what we're used to,
I don't know that we're giving him enough credit.
I mean, to be honest with you, I'm the biggest Antonio Reeves fan in the world,
but O'A Shannon probably should be second.
Because O'A plays better defense than Reeves.
A lot of Reeves points were threes.
So, Reeves probably, O'A's probably second.
In O'A's two years here.
He's only had like five games where he hasn't scored.
double digits. He scored double digit
63 of his 67
games. That's crazy. That's crazy.
I think only Jamal Masherman has better
numbers than that. When you look at
double digit games. I think you're right about that. Percentage
of games that are double digits, I think
the only person ahead of him is Jamal Masson.
That's a good company to be in the amazing thing. Who's up next?
Lane is up next. Lane, go ahead
Lane.
Hey Matt, long time listener, first time
caller.
I just good luck to you all.
and the Kentucky fans down there in Nashville and everything.
My team, they don't play until tomorrow night.
But good win yesterday.
Hope y'all get a day.
You didn't need to throw that in.
Are you an Arkansas fan?
Hey, roll-tide, baby.
Oh, roll-tie.
All right, I'll let you by.
Are you there?
Go ahead.
No, he hung up.
Oh, he just wanted to say his team doesn't play tomorrow.
What a jerk.
I wasn't going to do this, Peck.
Can I tell a story that Ryan Lemon's going to like about yesterday?
Yes, go for it.
I parked in Nashville.
It's early.
I'm the only person on Broadway.
A woman walked by me wearing a Tennessee jersey with no shirt under, just Tennessee jersey,
and she split tobacco on the sidewalk.
Thank you.
I was like, Ryan, like, I need to tell Ryan about this.
I wasn't going to bring this up on the radio, but since he's doing the rival fan thing,
that was the first thing I saw when I parked yesterday.
The jury rests, Your Honor.
I should have gotten a video.
If we were to not win the SEC tournament, which team would you want to win the least?
Tennessee, Arkansas, it's got to be one of those two.
Which one would it be?
I'd rather jump in the river, but if you're going to make me pick, probably Tennessee.
I was so mad at Cal for not liking this tournament.
See, that's what I can't let him go get one.
That would be my fault.
Arkansas would be the worst because he never, he'd said he never wanted to win when he was here.
And then if he went, he would never shut up about it.
I'd rather Tennessee win than Arkansas.
Yeah, I think Arkansas is probably my answer, too.
I think Vandy's going to take care of Tennessee tomorrow, so we'll see what happens there.
Tennessee, they could lose today.
They could.
They play Auburn.
Auburn's probably playing to guarantee a bit in the tournament today.
Right.
You can't let Cal, after all the crap we went through with him the last couple of years,
come in here and win one.
Slow down.
Yeah, it was close.

Life throws hurdles big and small.
The question is, how do you conquer them?
them. On Hurtle with Emily Abadi, we sit down with the most inspiring women in sports and wellness,
professional athletes, coaches, and Olympic champions to talk about the challenges that shaped them
and the mindset that keeps them going. From the WMBA standout Kate Martin and rising hockey star,
Layla Edwards. If a boy can do it, I don't see why a girl can't. Like, I've never understood
that. Like, it didn't make sense in my brain. It's hard to be in spaces that no one looks like you,
but don't ever feel like you don't belong. Don't let that be the reason you don't do it.
An Olympic champs Gabby Thomas and Katie Ladecki.
The ability to show a gold medal to someone and have their face light up and smile,
that means the world to me.
And that's what motivates me to win more gold medals.
At our level, at this scale, like being able to fail in front of the entire world.
Like, I can do anything.
I can do anything.
Because resilience isn't just about winning.
It's about showing up, even when it's hard.

The largest tax investigation in American history.

It is Kentucky Sports Radio here live at Tin Roof.
Packed House here.
It came early in the morning.
The KSR, this is the Kentucky Select Chevy Dealer's KSR pregame technically.
The official pregame comes on next.
Shannon will be in this very spot as soon as the game ends.
Alice BlueGam.
We'll be playing here as soon as the game in.
So after you watch us win, come on over here.
I'll be doing the postgame show, not from here,
because I wouldn't be able to hear myself,
but a lot of stuff going on this afternoon.
Always fun.
One of the most exciting shows we do all year.
We'll be playing from about 1.30 till 5 o'clock.
No break straight through, about 3.5 hour show.
1.30 to 5 o'clock?
Yeah, yeah.
That's how we do it at 10 rube.
Post-game party right here.
That's right.
Yep.
You are singing for 3.5 hours straight.
We did four hours last year.
After standing here now, just live on this stage.
Yeah, yeah.
I'll just take a nap here and be with you in a couple of hours.
Well, I will do my postgame show, and then I will come watch some of your gig.
Please do, yeah.
That's unbelievable.
We've got a couple, here in the crowd, where are Susan and Darren?
Where's Susan and Darren?
Back there, that is their, it is their 38th anniversary.
Give them big round of applause back there.
Today, that's nice.
This woman right here told me, what was your sister's name?
Margaret?
Margaret was asleep into bed because she was too tired.
Margaret, you are a lightweight, according to your sister,
for not getting out of bed and getting here.
Come on, Marge.
What are you doing, Margaret?
One person writes, Matt, I'm disappointed in you.
You missed a classic Rhinism.
Uh-oh.
And it was right in your wheelhouse.
He said, the jury rests.
He did say that.
That is true.
That's not, it's the prosecution rest.
Yeah.
The jury's actually.
making the decision.
Let me try one more time.
The prosecution rests.
There it was.
Better.
Better.
859-280-2287.
The USA baseball team,
Ryan, you got to be happy.
They end up making the next round
because Italy beat Mexico
by over five runs
so it actually worked out for them.
I know we were following it last night at dinner
and there was a point where I think you realized,
wait a minute.
If Italy wins this, Kentucky...
Not Kentucky is it.
Kentucky made it because...
All the other states.
Two made it.
Yeah.
That's right.
So USA baseball hangs on even though they lost to the Italians.
I wasn't up to speed on this.
I wasn't on the show yesterday.
Like the manager, didn't he, like, kind of chill and put in subs and thought they were good?
And we kind of were back against the wall at the...
No, we just lost.
I thought there was a moment where they thought they were good, though.
They thought they had won, but he just didn't know.
But they lost the game eight to nothing.
So they weren't going to make it.
but he thought he had the math wrong and he thought they made it.
But anyway, now they have made it.
Who's up next?
Andrew is next.
Andrew, go ahead, Andrew.
What's up?
Go for it, Andrew.
I've got a question for you, Matt.
I've got a question.
So I want you to talk about one thing.
What about our guy, Brandon Garrison, coming in with the clutch three yesterday?
Well, we've talked a lot about that.
He hit big shots clearly for us, had the guts to take him,
which he's always had, and now I have to ride a bull tonight because, or, well, I'm not going to do it
tonight, probably tomorrow, but I will, I will ride a bull. I think tonight's a good night. I don't think
tonight's a good night. Should he do it tonight? Yes. Yeah, I still have to work.
Good bull riding, right? We didn't talk about Brandon's, Brandon's big game at Rupp. His son was there.
His son was there yesterday. Is his son there today? I got to tell you all, his son was a star.
He couldn't have been happier. I think Tyler Thompson tweeted a photo where I don't know if it's
Brandon's mom, someone in the family is holding him up.
I mean, we need him at every game.
He is a big part of the fan base, and yesterday was fun to watch him.
You know, he frustrates the heck out of me all the time, but I will say this.
He is actually a really good kid who I think he loves being here, and he loves wearing the uniform.
I mean, again, he drives me crazy sometimes, but I'm glad to see him having a good game,
because Ryan, he does love being a Kentucky player, maybe as much.
much as anybody on the team. And you can tell the way
Coach Pope talks about him. Coach Pope loves him as well.
They love Brandon Garrison. And if he's able to bring
this again tonight today, look out. Listen,
sometimes a guy can make a run
and completely change the perception of the... I mean, I want you to
think about how we look at the Harrison twins now.
People forget that in 2014, before that tournament,
they were two of the most criticized players I can ever remember.
And then Aaron Harrison goes on that run.
And now the Harrison twins are two of the most beloved players and that that tournament run was a big part of it.
My wheels are turning Harrison Garrison Harrison Harrison Harrison.
Are we doing this?
Are we about to do this?
Is this going to be a Brandon Garrison run?
Yeah, I've got to figure out what's Mario can help me figure out.
If he were to go for 10 again tonight.
Yeah.
Then what would I do?
The bull has to ride you.
I don't know what that means.
I actually know some places in Nashville.
we could make that happen.
Goodness.
Let's just move on.
Who's up next?
I did not say that, by the way.
Got Roger up next.
Roger, go ahead, Roger.
Yeah, it's like for taking my call.
I was going to see what y'all thought about.
Your old guy started the game yesterday and scored seven of the first nine points.
And before the game started, I said to a guy beside me, I said,
I guarantee you, Pope's going to substitute at least three guys before the five-minute bar.
He did.
And in four minutes, here he goes, takes a year old guy out and just leaves him out.
You can tell he was frustrated.
He was frustrated.
Really make a difference in this team if he would play a lot more than what he did.
So, I mean, I got mixed thoughts on that.
I agree with you.
Yelovich was hot.
Drew, I would have probably left him in because he was hot.
He scored seven.
But I will note, he probably gave up seven because his defense, he cannot, he could not guard
the big for LSU last night.
He just couldn't.
I think there are games where he can.
Yeah, but he also got beat a lot.
And he got, and he got, he didn't help.
Like, there's a reason why he and Moreno said a lot of that game was defensively.
I appreciate the call.
I'm his biggest fan.
I get credit for the Chandler fan club.
I also started the Yellovich fan club, and I wanted him to have more minutes.
I wish he had gotten more run from the beginning, but he is flawed.
Yesterday, he was hot.
I wish he had stayed in, but there are moments where you can't play him, and there are a few times.
The problem is it goes back to what I'm saying.
I wish he didn't play with Moreno together.
They're both kind of soft, and I wish they would pair one of the tougher guys with him.
I actually think it would give them both an advantage.
We'll take a break and be right back here at Tin Roof.
This is Kentucky Sports Radio.
Welcome back.
It is Kentucky Sports Radio here live.
at Tin Roof.
Great crowd here, as always.
There is gear in the back.
U.K. Gear, KS.R.
Gear you can get from Kentucky Branded.
It's sponsored by Burt Tavern Bourbon
that Shannon's inviting everybody to his room for after it's over.
And Clayton and Krum for your leather and your belt accessories.
I've got mine on as well.
859-2-80-2287.
Text machine, 772-752525.
We've got a bunch of people here who there want shoutouts, but I'm going to just say shout out to everybody that made the trip.
And I posted Mario and I posted the note for Jackson on our Twitter.
If you would like, you can mark Jackson's name out and use it for your kid as well, Shannon, so that your kid can also skip and be here.
Parents all across the state now hate you for that because that's exactly what kids are going to be doing who are listening right now.
One person writes, Matt, I have a stat for you.
This is by Johnny and Brett.
Colin Chandler has worn an undershirt in his last three games and has only averaged four points a game.
But the five games before that, he did not wear an undershirt and average 15.8 points for game.
Tell Colin Chandler to take off his undershirt and he will play better.
I'm glad you said that yesterday I was watching him and I had a thought.
I was like, does he always wear that t-shirt?
I didn't know there was an actual stat for it, so it's good to hear that.
Who's here?
Now you know it's a big game.
Carrie Bruce has made the trip.
He's a shirt.
His is coming off.
Yeah, you could let Colin Chandler borrow your shirt.
Who's up next?
Adam is up next.
Adam, go ahead, Adam.
Hey, what's up, Matt?
You had a caller yesterday's call in and say that at least Kentucky was better than South
Carolina, which I thought was an odd standard until I realized what he was talking about.
You know, South Carolina was once the worst.
seven seed in the history of college basketball.
They were the worst seven.
They were the worst seven seed and they had the luckiest run to the final four of all time.
You're exactly right.
So if we're better than them, you know, we've got a chance to make the final four.
So the jury rests.
The jury does rest.
I appreciate the call.
Yeah.
Here's the good thing about this Kentucky team this year.
We frustrated on the net or focus on the negative.
The positive drew.
They have shown.
that they can beat almost anybody outside of the top handful of teams.
And if they win today, they'll have a chance to show they can beat one of the best teams.
But they have shown they won at Arkansas, Tennessee, et cetera.
So you get into the tournament, you can go into any game and think you have a shot to win it.
And whatever seed they're going to be, probably seven.
They're better than their resume.
We all remember, November and December sucked.
Let's not even act like that was fun.
but they turned a corner when they got to SEC play.
I think they're better than what their seed will suggest.
I still think they're better than a non-seat, even though that's our circumstances.
And you just get a little bit of momentum.
I worry about the grind of the postseason.
This isn't a fatigue joke, just in general, having a thin roster.
But, I mean, their ceiling is just, it's not as high as the top top, but it's higher than what their seed suggests.
Let's talk about Missouri that they play today, Ryan.
I would argue the Missouri game might have been the low point of the season.
season, right? We had gotten destroyed by Gonzaga. We beat St. John's and you think, okay, here we go.
Then we play Alabama, get destroyed. You get Missouri at home, and it's a game that you think,
okay, well, we're going to win this one. We are up. If you remember in the Missouri game, we're up
eight with three minutes and 20 seconds to go. Up eight at home, three minutes to 20 seconds to go,
and we blow the game. I don't remember a lot about their team, but I remember at that moment thinking,
This season might be, we might not make the tournament.
Now's a chance to kind of reverse course and win.
I think you actually said that after the game,
that maybe a game we point back to.
You said that cost us a certain seed or something, whatever, in the tournament.
I thought it was going to keep us out of the tournament.
Now, we ended up pulling off some upsets to not allow it to make that happen, but I did.
Our starting five for that Missouri game was Owey, Aberdeen, Diabate, Lowe, and Quaintens.
That was Jaden Quentin's last game.
Oh, that's right, it was.
Colin Chandler played five minutes.
Yeovic didn't play at all.
And now these guys are getting some major reasons.
So we're a completely different team than we played them in January.
That's a really good point.
I mean, you did have low.
Was that the game?
That's the game Lowe got hurt, right?
It might have been.
That's one of the only home games I didn't go to.
I think, if I'm correct, isn't that the game he got hurt right at the beginning?
Well, I don't know because Jasper didn't play either.
Like Jaspir and Tren and Yelovich did not even play.
I think that's the game.
Lowe got hurt right at the start.
and then it was just also ended up being the last game, Quaint's played as well.
Also, I mean, you shouldn't need motivation in March,
but I hope there's a little bit of chip on their shoulder with a memory of them coming into Rupp Arena on K. Woods Court,
kicking your butt.
You shouldn't need that extra juice today, but I hope that lingers a little bit to give them a little extra juice going into it.
For Kentucky, it's not a must win, but I think for this fan base and what, you know,
Nashville's not been great to us the last few years, Shannon,
I think winning this game, going and playing Florida,
just the excitement of that Friday game,
and then, you know, who knows what will happen in it.
But if we could do that, I think it would be massive for this team.
And we get Florida one more time.
I mean, they've, you know, at times played Florida close.
I mean, not last game, but I think that they could still hang with Florida
if they get them a third time.
The thing with Florida is we've lost the first few minutes and then played them.
Right.
Like we're basically even in the last 35 minutes,
but both games, they just got up to a huge cushion.
you couldn't overcome.
Who's up next?
Isaac is next.
Isaac, go ahead, Isaac.
Hey, guys, so I called you yesterday about BAM scoring 83, and 8 minus 3 is 5, so the numbers
were adding up.
I know you guys are skeptical, but if I remember correct, we won yesterday 87 to 82, 87 minus
82 is 5, so the number keeps coming up.
I understand.
I understand.
And then I heard the person in the crowd that's a 38th anniversary.
true. Three minus eight is negative five. So I mean, it's just, it's showing up everywhere. I think,
I think the time is there. Yeah, I, uh, I would love for that to be true. I don't know if,
uh, if it is. What's the spread today for this game? Three and a half American. So Kentucky is a three
and a half point favorite. Drew, I feel like that's about right. We're better than this team.
I know we lost. I know we lost to him at home, but we are better than Missouri, who honestly
has been wildly inconsistent a lot of the year.
I mean, just look here.
I was here yesterday.
It's a home game.
I know it's Missouri.
They had a better year.
They'd be in Rup, but this is Kentucky basketball.
We're going to have 95% of the crowd today.
You had a good game yesterday.
Just keep moving forward.
I don't have a lot of faith in winning the whole damn thing, but we should beat Missouri.
Well, let me hear how loud this crowd's going to be when you're at the game today.
Okay, so that's like a lose at the buzzer crowd.
Let's see what is our actually beating Missouri crowd sound like?
That's better.
I genuinely think this crowd can be the difference in the game.
My buddies went to the game yesterday we're talking about.
Just the acoustics of that building, et cetera.
That building can get much louder, Shannon,
then Grupp Arena gets, for instance, when it gets going.
You can hear it through the broadcast yesterday to go big blue chant.
So, yeah, there's no doubt.
This fan base can definitely make a difference in this game today.
And there will be eight people yelling.
really loudly in section 333, of which I'm one of them, screaming from the top.
And to my point about how the Nashville crowd's different, there are a few people,
if you were at the game yesterday, you saw them. Hell, they might be in the crowd.
There are some people that just pace and yell at the refs for 40 minutes.
You're looking at it.
One guy was across for me. I don't know your name, sir, but keep that energy today.
It's just a different animal than the lower level.
I love our sweaters.
I love that they're rich.
I love that you've had season tickets for 300 years, and your great grandparents handed them down to you.
but this is just a different beast.
It's just a bit.
It is.
When you get into Bridgestone and anyone can sit in the lower level.
It is a better crowd.
Although you don't have to disparage the sweaters at Rupp Arena.
I know a lot of them.
I love them.
But Nashville's better.
I'll say it to their faces.
Who's up next?
Micah is next.
Micah.
Go ahead, Micah.
I just want to say when Brandon Garrison hit the first couple shots,
he really gets going.
And then that's his key right there.
He gets down and does some dumb plays.
That's Brandon Garris.
I appreciate the call.
I would love to see him do it again.
And if he does, I know I'll be happy.
And I've still got to figure out what my second thing would be if he gets double digits again.
We will take a break and be right back and come to the final segment.

day get you excited. Welcome back. It is Kentucky Sports Radio here live at 10 roof.
Rick, how's your, by the way, Rick, how's your march going? We haven't, we haven't checked
in in a while. I can't complain. Sounds exciting. How's the, how's the wine coming?
Oh, that's always good. Yeah. Well, good. I'm glad. Got that March energy, Shannon.
He's a man, a few words. That's exactly, it's exactly right. Let's do our draft.
Kings picks. Let's pick the other SEC games today. How many of you going to all four games today?
Not many. It's a hearty group. The night session is actually pretty terrible tonight.
Oklahoma versus A&M. Who you got? I think Texas A&M wins this one. Yeah, I go with A&N. They're probably a better team.
Yeah, A&M. Excuse me, Bucky Ball will win that one.
I'm going to take Oklahoma to pull off an upset and win two straight. Old Miss, Georgia.
Travis Perry played 23 minutes yesterday, zero points.
Yep, give me Georgia on this one.
I'm going chalk.
Taking Georgia.
Random of the Perry is last night.
Lyon County just won Region 2 and double O.T.
I'm riding with the Perrys in Ole Miss.
I'm pulling for him.
Lyon County did make the Sweet 16.
I want to see Travis play well.
I hope he gets some shots today.
I will pick Georgia.
Auburn, Tennessee.
Big game.
Auburn wins.
Probably in the NCAA tournament.
If they lose, they'll be sweating and probably be,
the last in or out.
Who you got?
I think this is probably going to be the game of the day as far as, like how close it is.
I'm going to say Tennessee pulls out a close one at the end.
Is Nate Amit playing?
Nate Amit is playing, yes.
If he plays, I'm picking Tennessee.
Stephen Pearl takes down his alma mater.
I'm going to take Auburn to win and make it to the NCAA tournament.
By the way, this is a big game for Bob and Jamestown and the Miami of Ohio fans.
Yeah.
Because if Miami of Ohio does not win the tournament,
tournament, Auburn winning this game or not might be the difference in them making the
tournament because their resumes are kind of right there. So it'll be probably some, what is it,
Red Hawks cheering for, cheering for Tennessee today. Who's up next?
Alvin is up next. Alvin, go ahead, Alvin.
Hey, Matt, how you doing? I think that this game today against Missouri is going to be,
bench players are going to have to play significantly in this game. I think B, B, B, B,
is going to have to have the same energy that he brought yesterday to put you on that bore.
I think that the energy is going to have to come from the bench.
The starters are going to have to log a whole bunch of minutes.
We're going to have to play three defense where we deny the three-point shots.
Don't give guys comfortable looks around the art.
And I think we'll win this game of 83 to 78.
I agree with the three-point shooting.
That's been a bad issue.
for them in the last few games.
If you're back against the first in the in the game in Lexington, they hit a bunch of
threes.
I think that's important.
For me, a guy that's got to have a big game, Malachi's got to play well.
You know, as good as Malachi's been this year, he really, the last few games hasn't played
great either.
Malachi, we've talked a lot about Chandler, but I want to see Moreno get back to where he's
been.
Yeah, I hope his eyes okay from that guy trying to knock him out yesterday.
Yeah, it got swollen.
Yeah, it looks rough.
Malachi needs to play well
but like we saw yesterday with Garrison
someone on the bench
and realistically it's probably not
Garrison today but someone
has to contribute I'm honestly
looking at Trent Noah because he played
zero minutes I don't know I'm not a foot
expert I have feet but I don't know a lot about him
I don't know what Cam Williams can do today
I think maybe this might be a sneaky
Trent Noah come in and get a few points game
Trent Noah needs to do it for Lindley back there
who said that she was he was
her favorite player I agree
If Cam doesn't play, and they said it to be the tournament, he might be play one game, not play the other.
Ryan, this Trent Noah may need to come hit some shots.
Yeah, because Williams actually played more minutes yesterday than I thought he would.
He ended up playing like 13 minutes or something.
He ended up more than I thought, but he did provide a little spark.
Trent can do that today.
We've seen that happen.
Come in, knock down a shot, but get those rebounds that he's been doing.
And this is actually a team that athletically, I do think Shannon Trent Noah can play.
There are some teams that I don't think he really works.
I actually think he can play in this game.
I can definitely see him getting some quality minutes today,
but I'm looking at the three-headed goat.
And one of the heads on the goat has been asleep the last couple of days.
Yeah, AOC.
The C hasn't been very good.
So we need Colin Chandler, I think, to step up big today.
That's exactly right.
Who's up next?
Jamie is next.
Jamie, go ahead, Jamie.
Yes, sir, guys.
We need Ryan to pull a rabbit out of the hat today like he did in Madisonville
when he done out on the clothesout.
show down there. Have him to do that down there today.
No, no, no, no.
Get everybody pumped up and going.
And give that lady, that elder, the 84 or 89-year-old lady down there are thrilled.
So that's all I got.
Go catch.
Appreciate it.
I'll let him give Judy a thrill a little bit later in the show.
They can do that privately in Shannon's hotel room with the Burt Tavern,
bourbon if they would like.
I think that would be, I think that's when we would want that.
to have my room if that's the case.
Let me ask you, Mark Pope,
uh,
Mark Pope said yesterday,
he said we came down here with the goal of winning five and five,
one down four to go.
We've had many frustrations with Mark Pope.
One thing I like about him,
Drew,
and I do love it is that he takes this tournament seriously,
that he wants to win this tournament,
whether we do or not.
I do like having a coach that does that because this tournament matters to me.
People can say they don't matter,
but I think this event for this group of fans matters.
I mean, we're looking at the group what matters too, obviously.
That's part of the reason why it's soured with the last regime
is this just wasn't working in the SEC tournament.
You know, as fans, maybe we're not the most optimistic for winning the damn thing,
but you want your head coach to speak like that,
and you want your players to believe it.
So I'm glad they came in here with the right attitude,
and we'll see what can happen.
We will see.
All right, let's make some predictions.
Kentucky plays playing Missouri.
It is at 1230.
our post-game show will be on after.
Shannon will be doing right here at Tenroof.
He'll be playing as soon as the show ends.
I'll be doing the post-game show.
Cats are a three-and-a-half-point favorite.
If they win, they play tomorrow at 1 o'clock.
It will be the game tomorrow.
It's actually 30 minutes later if they win.
Kentucky, a three-and-a-half-point favorite.
Shannon will get started with you.
Give me the score and who you think the MVP will.
Not only do I think Kentucky wins today, I think they cover as well.
So I'm going to go Kat 7871.
Again, I'm going to go back to Colin Chandler.
I think he's got to play a big part of this game.
He's going to be my MVP.
How many points for Colin Chandler today?
I'll go 12.
He's going to be the MVP with 12 points?
Well, I mean, just him stepping.
He doesn't necessarily have to score the most points.
I'm just talking about a guy that's going to be critical to winning the game.
Ryan.
Is Tom Hart doing the game?
He is, I think.
He's a Missouri grad.
I actually think he's not.
But go ahead.
We're going to make Tom Hart cry.
The fighting time of Tom Hart's cry.
Kentucky wins.
77 76. I got the dude's shirt on.
Colin Chandler. You can't keep a good Mormon down.
He just picked Colin Chandler.
I got to pick him. I got his shirt on today.
He's picking him.
All right. I guess he's not going to follow the rules.
Drew Franklin.
Missouri's good. Mitchell's tough.
But I was there yesterday, and I'm looking at a lot of fans that are going to be in there making a lot of noise.
This is a home game. It's actually better than a home game.
I think that puts Kentucky over the top.
They win 79, 78.
He's not going to be the only scorer.
but I'm going to will a Trent Noah 3 into existence.
So when he bangs one, please tweet me,
Trent Noah is going to score some points that matter.
All right.
For me, this game, this is a huge game for Kentucky,
both in terms of getting it set for the NCAA tournament
and psychologically.
We have not owned this tournament
like we're used to in the last five or six years.
We're going to have a massive crowd tear today.
I'd say we'll have a 15-1 advantage when it comes to fans.
If Kentucky can win, I think they lock up a six seat in the NCAA tournament, which allows them a chance to get to maybe have a shot to play in the second weekend.
It also sets up a game against Florida tomorrow where I genuinely think Kentucky could pull off the upset.
But first you've got to win today, get a good start.
I think this is a Kentucky game at their best.
I think they come out.
I think they pound on Missouri early and they end up winning by 10.
I'll take Kentucky 78, 68, and the cats will move on and then play tomorrow,
and I will take Otega Owe, scoring 24 points again as the MVP.
Thank you all very much.
You come every year to this show.
You pack this place.
Give yourselves a big round of applause.
The cats are going to take down the Tigers.
We'll see you later.
