Your car broke down on the way to the tournament? Yes, we left at 8 a.m. from Louisville. And then your dad has come and picked you up, and now you're going to make it here. Yep, now we're up for.

Now we're at mile mark for 68, so we're going to get there right around tip off. All right. Well, there you go. Shout out to dad. for picking you up. I appreciate the call. I've talked about this, obviously, on this show for a long time. This tournament,

Ryan Lemon, is always very special to me. I've been coming to this tournament since the early 90s. I've been coming with my college friends since the late 90s. Went with my grandfather originally. This is one of my favorite weekends of the year, and we've got about

10 people here, and I love it. I mean, how many of you all are regulars to the SEC tournament? Raise your head. See, that's what? what I love about this. It is a, I would argue, the fans that come down here, this is the hardcore of what Big Blue Nation is, are the ones who make this trip every year, and I love it. It is.

They're a special fan base here. They plan their vacations around it. They take their kids out of school. I brought my boys here just to experience what it's like. This is Big Blue Nation at its finest right here. And it's absolutely bad. And I think you're going to have that atmosphere today. Now, we do have to share.

I mean, there's going to be a lot of Tennessee and Vanderbilt fans in there today. I mean, there are. I think we'll have the most people, but the arena, Drew, may not be full when we start because the Tennessee and Vandy fans may not even be there yet. Yeah, I won't hate that. I don't like breathing the same air as them anyway, so hopefully they're out on Broadway, doing a lot of pre-game and then get there late, and we can have the crowd to ourselves. What are you expected in terms of crowd?

You know, it's ramped up the last couple of days. I think that we'll have a really good showing. What does Bridgestone hold? Do we know like 20? No, it's small. That 17, 18, something like. But I think we'll have the majority of the fan base, you know, between us and Florida. So it should be a good home court advantage again.

I will say I've been told there is someone that Kentucky is very interested in having joined the group, the team next year, who will be at the game today. So if you're any Kentucky fans in the crowd and you see someone close to the bench, give them a big salute. Who's up next? Poe is up next. Poe, go ahead, Poe. Hey, guys.

Hey, Penroof. Go catch. All right. Anything else? Yeah. I wanted to say, and I've been meaning to say it for a long time, the A-Cuff kid from Arkansas should not deserve any awards at all. And half or not more of Arkansas' points should not count at all this year

because he calms the ball or carries every time he touches the ball. Well, they're not going to call that. They're not going to call him carrying the ball. They need to call this tournament. But they don't call. call it. So I can't, I don't think you can say that half of, as much as I don't like Arkansas, I don't think you can say half their points don't count. I don't think that's how it works. Probably more. Yeah. Yeah, well.

But go cats. I appreciate it. Go cats. That's an interesting thing to bring up. I don't think half of Arkansas's points should count. I didn't even know he was going to go the Arkansas direction. And I certainly didn't think he was trying to cancel Darius Aikoff for carrying the ball every once in a while. Let's talk just a second. I mentioned Colin Chandler shooting the ball well. when Colin Chandler makes usually the number is two. When he makes two threes, our record is much better. He is, when he gets one or less, I think we've only won two games this year against good teams.

When he hits two or more, we have a much better record. It was good to see him make a couple yesterday. Yeah, I mean, I think we can now expect Aberdeen and Oway to have good games. The question is who's going to be the third person? Sometimes it's Chandler. It was Garrison in game one? Yeah, so if you don't have Chandler, you've got to have somebody that's going to be sort of the surprise person off the bench and the steps up for you.

Hopefully Chandler will have another good game today. Aberdeen and Oway, I do think Ryan have made it to where you know you're going to get something from them every night. You know you're going to get something from Aberdeen. You know you're going to get something from O'way. The third is the key. It was Garrison in game one. And then I think it was Chandler in game two.

AOC, man, Colin Chandler. He took the t-shirt off, hit some shots, made a couple bad turnovers. But when he's at his best, Kentucky is hard to beat. They've got three guys out there. May I just say, let's not imbound it to him. at the end of games. We've had three games where we have struggled. And you would think you want to inbound it to him

because he could shoot free throws. But Aberdeen doesn't miss down the stretch. Let's get the ball to him. Chandler walked yesterday. They didn't call it. But he did walk. We got to be careful getting it into him at the end. I think he gets a little rattled at the end.

I also remember him inbounding the ball in Baton Rouge. Yes. Maybe we trust him to inbound the ball instead of throwing it to him. Maybe so. I mean, I guess Pope is thinking I'd rather Chandler shoot the free throw, then O'way, but I might flip that because he has struggled. 859-280,

Bruce Pearl, as Stephen Pearl is losing, Stephen Pearl gets a technical, and Bruce goes insane in the stands. I think if he wasn't Bruce Pearl, they might have ejected him. He literally is on the front row, Drew, losing his mind. Cussing, his language was horrible. You've got to feel like Bruce Pearl's having a little bit of a meltdown here with his son this year, And I'll say this, Auburn struggles are on Bruce. He quit the team right before the season started and handed it to his son.

He admitted that there was nepotism to it. He basically acknowledged I'm the one that got him higher. He's made it to where people dislike his son and his team. That's kind of all on Bruce, isn't it? It is. And that's probably why he's so on edge here lately because it's not looking like that's going to work out. But his behavior last night because he was down where everybody could see him. and now he's a part of the media.

We all know who we are, Bruce, and he was just losing his mind over there. Can you do that as part of the media and not get, you know, reprimanded by the company that you work for? You wouldn't think so. There's a lot of four-letter words flying. There's a lot of things Bruce Pearl is doing this year that you're not supposed to do. I mean, he is a – look, he is going to be on the NCAA tournament coverage for CBS. He's actively said that his son should be in. You know, I mean, I don't hate Bruce Pearl, but I do think he hasn't really wrapped.

himself in glory in the last few weeks. I mean, like, what if that were Carl Ravich out there doing that? Like, he has to be able to. Well, first of all, if it was Carl Ravits, Ryan would be excited. But I'm thinking, like, anybody else in the media is my point, you know, they would probably be suspended from their job or doing something like that. These folks here didn't hear it, but Jimmy Dikes kept getting the name wrong of Malachi Moreno.

He tried to tell the story of Malachi saying, Malachi's mom saying the name, but he got it reversed, and then they did it again. No one is ever going to know how to pronounce it. What's his name? Yeah, I think he was trying to clarify it for everyone, and he just made it much more. Made it worse. I'm telling everybody it was the wrong way again. Moraine-O.

Moraine-O. How many people you think messaged Jimmy Dykes after he said that on his Twitter? I told him. I went up to him and told him, and he went, oh, no. He was like, BBN, I'm sure, is not crushing me. And I was like, actually, they are crushing you, and you're, that's just going to be the way it is. Who's next? Anita's next.

My dad and Uncle Wilber would sit and listen to the games and write down all the points and stuff on the radio. My mom picked up that, I have to stay married, and started writing down all the stats. Let's do some predictions here today for the games. Let's start with the game after ours. and Vanderbilt, maybe the game of the day, depending on what happens, who you like? Do you like your doors? I can't pick against Vanderbilt. So I'm going to take Vandy to win, and I'm going to take them to win big today. Big, yes.

All right. Bandy beat Tennessee on their senior day in Knoxville, but that was without Nate Ameant. He's back. He had like, what, 27 yesterday. I picked the balls. Oh, throw you out of here. I'm going with Vandy, never picking Tennessee.

I guess it's a home game. They've got some fans that have thrown some interest, They'll have some fans in there, so I'll say Commodores get it done in their rivalry. If you're talking about who I want to win, I think I'd rather play Vandy since we've beaten Tennessee twice, but I do think the, I think the balls get them tonight. I'll take Tennessee to win. Second game, you get Ole Miss in Alabama. Travis Perry's on a heater this tournament.

Who you got? Yeah, Alabama's rested up. They're fresh. They're a great team. Ole Miss won the last two, but it's the same thing for Kentucky. Three games and three days. I'm going to go Alabama. Ole Miss did look good last night, but Alabama wins this one.

Yeah, I think Alabama's going to win big. It's been fun watching Ole Miss win a few games, and Travis play well, but this is probably the end. I would say Alabama by 40. I mean, it's going to be, I don't know what the spread is, but whatever it is, I'm betting Alabama. I think they absolutely roll them. Now, the late-night game, I think actually could be kind of interesting. Arkansas and Oklahoma, who you got? Well, we know Arkansas and, well, Calipari doesn't take the SEC tournament seriously.

I mean, I don't know if you'd rather be home watching Little House in the Prairie or playing Oklahoma, but I'm going to say Arkansas wins tonight, though. Callow Perry has forgotten what it's like to get to Saturday in the SEC tournament. It's been so long. He loses. So have we. Oklahoma advances. Oklahoma.

You're going to Oklahoma. All right, what are you got? I'm going to take the hogs here. I don't think they go too far this weekend, but they'll win today. So give me Arkansas. This is one of those things that literally this Arkansas team, I can see. them losing today by 10 or I could see them winning the whole tournament. When we get to the NCAA tournament, if they're a five seed, they might open up with Yale

and lose or they could make the final four. I mean, like Arkansas has that kind of team in terms of their talent. I'm going to take Arkansas to win tonight, but it would not shock me if Oklahoma wins. Kentucky and Florida, cats are now an 11.5 point underdog. It's their biggest underdog in the history of the SEC. tournament. We'll see what happens. Shannon, what do you got?

Well, it's been a good run, but I think it ends today. I think Florida wins, 88, 82. Kentucky covers, but Kentucky loses. You can boomie. But you know I'm right. Nobody's more comfortable being in the moon. Who's your MVP? Oh, I think Colin Chandler's going to have a big game.

All right. Ryan. It's not the rule of 71 tonight. It's the rule of 91. Cats get it on a Denzo Aberdeen free throw. 91.90. Denzel Aberdeen free throw. 90, Denzel Aberdeen.

Drew. I'm picking the cats. I genuinely think there's something to have in this momentum, getting a few wins. You played Florida close twice. You're not afraid of them. I know their front court's awesome, but Marino Garrison, they're not intimidated.

They played it well against them twice, just didn't get wins. I think they carried the momentum they've had for two games. Win today. My MVP, he won't be the star of the game, but Cam Williams will be a big factor. Okay, I like that. Well, for me, can tell you. Obviously has not been what they wanted in these games against Florida,

but it's been a five-minute stretch of both games that has turned it around. I think today, because of this crowd, Mark's been better at timeouts. They do not have the five-minute stretch that ruins the game with three minutes to go. They're down two at the timeout, and then Otega Owe puts them on their back, give me Kentucky 89-86 in front of this crowd. Nice. And they get the victory over Florida. That's where I am.

And then we celebrate on into the weekend. That's exactly right. All right. All right, let me just say to all of you guys, of all of our crowds. Right now, this may be the most crowded the room has been at 10 roof over the years. It's been fun to kind of feel Nashville be back. Yep. It's been a really fun year with you all.
