Starting point is 00:03:46 I'm not just a radio guy. I'm also a realtor. I talk to homeowners all the time. And what's the one thing many homeowners have but rarely think about? It's equity. It's something that can quietly grow over time while you're busy living your life. and for many homeowners, it can be an opportunity they haven't explored. Whether you're planning home improvements or preparing for whatever it comes next,
Starting point is 00:04:04 your home's equity may be able to help you. It's important to understand what's available and to find out the right option that fits your goals. For me, I wanted to put a pool in my backyard and finish my basement. I didn't have the money available, so I went to Stockton Mortgage. They found the equity that already built up in my house was able to use to install my pool and finish the basement. I would have been able to do it without them. A Stockton Mortgage, they'll walk you through the possibilities.
Starting point is 00:04:24 Answer your questions and help you understand your next step. If it's been a while since you've looked into your home's value, now might be a great time to start the conversation. Visit stockton.com to learn more. Stockton Mortgage, NMLS 8259, NMLS Consumer Access.org, equal housing lender. Stockton Mortgage and Ryan Lemon are not affiliated entities. Borrowers are free to choose their own service provider. Welcome to Hour 2 of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Now here's Matt Jones.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Welcome back hour number two, Kentucky Sports Radio. 859-2802287. We'll get back the phones of just to see. second text machine 772 7755254 thanks to all the texters it's always great i sit and you know i'm doing a good job of like shana be on my phone less but when i i've now found that the text machine sometimes is the best way for me to catch up on uk news right rather than filtering through all the twitter if people if something happens in the uk world people will write it on the text machine and they're much nicer and then people write really nice things in general so do you still
Starting point is 00:05:24 eat with your phone. Because you do something I don't think I've ever seen anybody do. What, what's that? You'll be eating like wings. You'll have a wing in one hand and your phone in the other. You're scrolling as you're eating a wing. I'm trying to get back to do it taking magazines into read. I can't just sit in a restaurant and do nothing and read and just stare straight ahead. You can watch TV. I've read a sports bar. Yeah, but well, that's true. But I usually take a magazine now and read. Yeah. Because you're right. Eating would be big time phone time. Right. And I'm trying to have less phone time.
Starting point is 00:05:56 One person writes, let's test your fan. Let's test you're not telling people how to fan pledge. I want Pope to fail this year because success will keep him around. All right. No, that's stupid. No, I mean, that's objectively stupid because the point of like, the point of having the coach is to succeed. So if he succeeds, like, isn't that the point?
Starting point is 00:06:17 Yeah, I'm with you on your attitude going into this. But the people that just want to lose to get it over with. Yeah, I don't like that. I can't join you there. I will make an exception to my not telling you. You can't root for the team to lose. I mean, look, okay, if you're saying that the team is like on the bubble and you go, I wish we would just miss the tournament.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Just rip the Band-Aid off kind of thing. I still don't like that, but I disagree, but I still understand. But if you're just starting at the start of the year and go, I hope we're not good, then that, to me, is dumb. I'm the most pessimistic of the bunch, and I hope they win the national championship, and he tells me to eat it. Exactly, yes. My biggest fear is that the team loses like 12, 13 games, maybe just makes it to the quarterfinals, the SEC tournament, and gets beat in the second round.
Starting point is 00:07:00 That is the worst case scenario for UK fans, but we're a long way from that, so I'm not going to do that. By the way, I forgot the best part of the Brooklyn delay video. How did I forget this? At the end of after they've shown her footwork and compared her to Lamar Jackson, they show her, she throws a football. She throws a football from the far baseline up onto the upper level, and it's a perfect spiral. Wow. And Alex Smith is like, she could start for some of these teams. She throws like a perfect pass.
Starting point is 00:07:31 She's better than Tua. Without question. She's second string, at least, on the Falcons. That's awesome for her in the program. Yeah, like, good for her. Like, I forgot. That was the coolest part. I don't know how I forgot that.
Starting point is 00:07:43 All right, I want to go over a few things here. First of all, Shannon, I did learn to put on makeup. Yeah. So Maggie Davis, I was like, look, sometimes I have white under my eyes. They're telling me I need to put on makeup to make that go away. Will you help? So she comes over yesterday and she brings all this makeup. It's her makeup kit.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Her makeup kit. And she's got me. I have a foundation. Oh, you do. Wow. A rouge? No rouge. I have a foundation.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I have an under eye thing. Yeah. And I have powder. Yes. And then I have the wipes to clean it off. She's like, you can't use water. You got to use wipes. It'll be bad for your skin if you don't.
Starting point is 00:08:22 And I was like, well, thank you for bringing this. She goes, no, we're doing a round of it. Oh, yeah. Get ready with me. We could have done it. Get ready with me. I was like using the brush. Did you forget to call Mario for content?
Starting point is 00:08:35 No, there was no. I was not. This was not going on there. But Maggie was like, remember, I hired Maggie at KSR or senior year at Dunbar. and now she's you know it's been 12 11 12 years and now she's in charge she's like no you're putting this on and then uh so now i won't have time to do it today because we're doing cover zero but i think tomorrow i will try to debut the makeup on that way to see you on there with eyeliner mascara i'm not wearing eyeliner mascara it's not it's just it's just you know everyone on tv does it
Starting point is 00:09:10 oh yeah i did it at lex although after about six months i quit. Yeah. I wore it at Hey, Kentucky, and I hated I'd go to Kroger on my way home. People'd be like, hey, forget to take it off. Yeah, you forget to take it off. You get makeup on today, man. But you would have liked Shannon, see a Maggie go, no.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Not that. You got to brush softly. I would have loved to see that. Now you've got to do it every day. You're like, kiss. You're going to put your makeup on before you go out there. That's right. I tell you, when you get in a hurry, though, just powder.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Powder is the key. I'm going to trust Maggie over you. Well, I did TV for 20 years. Had to put makeup on every day. But if you're already. white, why do you want to put more white on you? No, the powder's not white powder. You can get like your skin tone.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Mine is actually lighting my skin tone a little bit because especially right now, I'm, you know, I get tan red in my face a little bit in the summer. So mine will actually be a little bit lighter, but that will allow me to turn, like my lights are so dark in there because I get glare and she's telling me now I'll be able to turn the lights. So we'll see. We'll see. But it was very nice to start to make it.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Very nice. On a Sunday to come. and like help me through the process. Starts with makeup. Next thing you'll be getting your hair permed. Probably not. I don't think it'll be a perm, but I also made a really stupid purchase. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:26 I like those. And it's such a waste of money. But I do kind of love it. Do you know what I bought, which is going to eventually be in my man cave. But right now I have outside on my patio. I bought one of those scrolls that shows the scores. game. Well, your man, gay, why not?
Starting point is 00:10:47 I like it. All right, there's two reasons. One, I've always kind of thought those were cool. Yeah. You know what I mean? We loved it at KS Bar. Yeah, and I loved it at KS Bar. The problem is the company ended and they stopped updating it.
Starting point is 00:10:58 So if you were to go in there, it's still showing the same scroll from four years ago. Baseball score is a winner. For about three years. But it was, I saw one. See, it was Instagram targeting. I think they knew I was susceptible to it. And I saw it, Shannon. They got you.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I bought a small. one, but I bought one. Part of it is, stay off my phone. Yeah. Right? That way, during a college game, the scores go by, Shannon.
Starting point is 00:11:23 I don't have to look at my phone. Well, you know, they took that away from the ESPN broadcast, right? Right. Exactly. So now it's on my, now it's under my television out on the patio. So I debuted it this weekend. I debuted it.
Starting point is 00:11:37 And so Saturday, the scores would go on, then yesterday on the NFL, and you can set it to where you like it tells you when your fantasy players score. Oh wow. Does it like butt in? Make a little noise like the bottom line? It's a lot in and flashing. It's pretty real time.
Starting point is 00:11:51 It's pretty quick. Okay. You're talking to anyone. You can get your teams you favor. It'll give you the news about them. So I have the Reds, the Hurricanes, Kentucky, Bears. Those headlines. And they'll get the headlines.
Starting point is 00:12:04 And also if you want it has news headlines. Yeah. Can you put like a custom message? I think you can. Yes. You can do stock. I didn't do that, but you could check the live stock trade. You get all your Trump news on there.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Yeah, it's all there. And so then later in the afternoon, the turkey hunter came over and he was like, what is this? You wanted to show off your new toy? He just started laughing. He just started laughing. He was like, this is like 2008 technology. And I said, I don't care. I now have a scroll.
Starting point is 00:12:34 I'm not putting in the living room or the bedroom. Women in my life would kill me if I did that. But you can put a message on it for him. It's going to be up in the man cave. Touchdown. It's going to be up. But I do. It is like the most like stupid purchase.
Starting point is 00:12:54 But I have to tell you right, it gave me joy. I just sit there and watch it go by. So we're sitting there watching it. And Jason goes, oh wow. I didn't know Princeton beat Albany. Glad you have this. But how would you have known that otherwise? We wouldn't have known it, would we?
Starting point is 00:13:09 No, you'd still be sitting there wondering what happened in that game. Exactly. and now I know. Well, like Shannon said, they took off the ticker on ESPN, but now if you want to keep up with the other games. But if you come to my house to watch games, I'm going to be able to see them as they come by. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:13:23 It's scrolls right around. It's such a dumb purchase, but. I have a picture of your man cave. I like this. Next you're going to get like a lava lamp next to it. Yeah, well, it's still being constructed. But when it gets there, there's going to be a scroll. You mentioned your fantasy stuff.
Starting point is 00:13:40 I saw that you crushed Billy. I love it. Billy so bad. I just kept beating Billy. Like, I mean, every time they would score is just more, more. Billy got annihilated. That was a beat down. And I loved it because Billy talks all this trash.
Starting point is 00:13:55 And then Billy's like, I mean, pooka got hurt. You can't expect. You could have had five pookas. You weren't catching me. Nope. That's what I did to Paul. Pick on both our guys. That's right.
Starting point is 00:14:04 So that was good. Now, the red season ended, thankfully. Yes. sorry. Or no, congratulations. I don't know what you to say. But now on the whimper. It was awful. But the hurricanes start tomorrow. Oh, they do. Right? When one door closes another opens.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Exactly. The hurricanes start tomorrow. Is it at home? They're going to unfail the banner? They do the banner. I don't know why the game starts at 5 o'clock, but it's on ESPN. They'll do the banner ceremony. So as I'm finishing Matt Myron, I can watch them raise the banner for the canes. You're kind of like the postgame show for the banner. It's exactly right. So there we go. Big day down there. Big day. I wish I could go, but I can't.
Starting point is 00:14:41 But I'm glad to get, you know, the hurricanes are better than the Reds, hopefully. So that means, like, I can get some positivity in my sports team. So anything from Tripp coming up with the, any new messages? You know, I still don't know if Tripp actually wrote me. And I don't want to know. In my mind, he wrote me. Just go with that. Again, we've talked about, like, if I'm going to go to a few games this year. And if I, if I see him, I can't ask him. Because if it's not him, he's going to look at me like Darius Rucker looks at Ryan.
Starting point is 00:15:08 He's your man crush. It kind of is. In my mind, he wrote me. Sorry about your Reds, not playing more baseball. They stink. You can be a Braves fan. As of today, are you renewing your tickets? Your Reds tickets.
Starting point is 00:15:22 As long as they don't trade Ellie. I'll do it. You don't. It's only a matter of time before they trade him. I know, but the moment they trade Ellie, I'm done. And they will at some point, but I think he's probably got one more year before they trade him at least. So I'll come watching next year.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I think I got one more year. Once they trade him. though, I'm out. You're out. Make sure they know if you want me. You want me. Ellie and I are a packaged deal. You will be trading me if you trade Ellie.
Starting point is 00:15:52 So, but they're going to, I know. All right, let's go to Alex. Go ahead, Alex. Hey, guys, first time caller. Who are? What's up? I just want to say, first of all, shout out Ryan Lemon. My parents said that they want me to grow up just like you. No, they did.
Starting point is 00:16:09 got role model. They did not say that. Why did they say that? Oh, boy. They said that just his knowledge of sports and the way he was making it up. That was made up. All right, go ahead. Parents are very smart people.
Starting point is 00:16:23 But my real question is that, you know, last five years we haven't beat South Carolina, pretty embarrassing losses the last two with some embarrassing moments being, you know, Seth McGowan throwing that ball at Seth McGowan, I mean, Eleanor Sellers' dad. and then Shane Beamer dancing in the locker room. I think it rivals Louisville for being a game that I think the whole fan base wants to win. I agree, and you will get Shane Beamer fired if you win. I appreciate the call, and there's some joy in that because he's been such a little snot over the years. And after their loss Saturday in Alabama and being uncompetitive, you could get him fired if you win on their field.
Starting point is 00:17:05 It would be a joyous moment. They're a mess right now. We could not have asked for a better situation. going into South Carolina. Leave aside everything that's happened with Kentucky and Lexington. Them down there with yelling Fire, Beamer, two weeks ago, Mississippi State. Now your top 10 draft picks out because he's
Starting point is 00:17:19 punching people and fight with coaches. They're 0-1-2 in the conference against, well, not Alabama, but at least one game they were expected to win. So we couldn't be asking for a better South Carolina team to host us on Saturday. It would be so good if we can beat. And even though we're the underdog, I think we have a really,
Starting point is 00:17:35 really good shot of winning. And they not only beat us last year in our home field, they kind of embarrass us. I kind of rubbed our nose in it. You could make a strong argument. That's when everybody was like, all right, we're done. That's right. It kind of beginning to the end of the Stoops era was that loss last year to South Carolina. That was a Dylan Stewart breakout game, too. He was a freshman. He destroyed us. So then not having him coming up on Saturday, only adds to it. That line's down to two and a half. It opened at seven. I got it at seven. Remember we talked about it? I rarely bet that early because you want that money to be available. But that's a
Starting point is 00:18:03 huge line movement with all they've had going on. Hey, for at least 10 of the past 15 years, the folks at Red State Barbecue have been voted Best Barbecue in Georgetown. It's pretty good. They've been nominated again. If you go to RedStatebbq.com, you can click the link and you can go vote. You should vote because it's not only the best barbecue in Lex.
Starting point is 00:18:21 In Georgetown, it's the best barbrew in the Lexington area. Go to Red Statebbq.com, vote for Red State. But more importantly, go visit Red State Barbecue right there on Georgetown Road. Once you do, you won't eat at the other places. Red State Barbecue. We'll be right back. This record is on. Miley is having a moment, new name, new album, and two exclusive shows.

Starting point is 00:19:12 We have a new podcast. It's called Don't Lie to Me. I'm Lexi Iwano. We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart. And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one,
Starting point is 00:19:23 which means we have wildly different references, occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all. I'm not going to get anyone fighting. That is wild. I learned that about you today. Now in my 30s,
Starting point is 00:19:38 being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business. And I've always got something to say. If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world. We're going to talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser. We're best friends, but we don't always agree. Because you told us how accommodating you are. Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight to fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Don't lie to me. Liar. Listen on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I don't really care. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman. Angel Geratana. Jeremy Colhane. Patrick McDonald.
Starting point is 00:20:22 And we're the hosts of the Artists on Artists on Artists on Artists Podcast. Have you guys heard of faux journaling? Yeah, it's reading. It's called reading. So we don't like to use that word anymore. Okay. A panel of New Yorker cartoonists.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No! I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sadako and the thousand paper cranes by Audra McDonald's at the Wonderland Bookstore on 14. That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday, and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark 30. No way. You have to come to the last bookstore.
Starting point is 00:21:07 though. Kim Cottrell is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. It's right up next to the microphone. I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween.
Starting point is 00:21:30 Listen to artists on artists on artists on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Starting point is 00:22:41 Middle school is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy, and this is therapy for black girls. We spend real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological and neurological and psychological and psychological chaos happening all this end up.
Starting point is 00:23:04 We got into group chats and gaming. friendship and bullying, and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. There's belonging. You could think of belonging as
Starting point is 00:23:15 I can be myself and I can still be accepted. And then there's fitting in. Spitting in says, I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers,
Starting point is 00:23:27 sitting down with therapist Keer Gaines on Black fatherhood and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have on shorts so you can't do flips, you have on the dressie up across your legs.
Starting point is 00:23:37 That's the range of this run, from screen time to identity to the father's doing the work at home. You have to get off our device. But the reality is there's a lot of lives out there that we don't want you as your adults in their lives to miss out on. This has been our surviving middle school run.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to therapy for black girls on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Self-Cast September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk.
Starting point is 00:24:11 It can be in everything shower. It can be putting your phone on, do not disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff and understanding your patterns, your boundaries, finally figuring out while you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again. I'm Gemma Spag, the host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast. And each week we unpack the psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s, from relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter life crisis, which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something.
Starting point is 00:24:48 When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself. Get to know yourself as well. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey everybody, it's me, W. Kamau Bell. This season of my podcast who's with me, I speak with two-time Emmy winner
Starting point is 00:25:13 and weirdly one of my best friends, Kevin Avery. Everything up to that point, build you as a comic. Us going on the road, doing Battle Mountain and Ely. Yeah, you took me, you were one of the first people took me on the road,
Starting point is 00:25:25 which is funny because at the time, I was like, I don't know if I like this guy. With rapper, actor, David Diggs. The jump off for me was Hamilton and it was the most popular thing in a very long time. But it was still, for me, it was me and my friends
Starting point is 00:25:40 making something dumb. Bruce Lee's daughter and Brandon Lee's sister, Shannon Lee. Back to your initial point of stewarding my father's legacy and giving my energy to that. You're lending your life
Starting point is 00:25:54 to stewarding somebody else's life. Listen to Who's With Me with Debbie Comaubel on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to be all over my pillow, waking up in my makeup. Is this hole? It is.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Yeah, Courtney Love. Courtney Love. I was shocked to find out last night that the video music awards are still going. I didn't know either. Nirvana got some sort of award. I could not believe. I was watching that football game, Ravens and Cowboys, and all of a sudden they were like the video music awards are next.
Starting point is 00:26:30 And Jason and I were like, well, I didn't even know. And I was like, I didn't know there are videos. There aren't. I mean, we're on YouTube, but when does MTV play videos? None. So I watched it. And the first thing I saw was Madonna. What year is it?
Starting point is 00:26:45 And things were happening. Oh, okay. I can't say on the air what was happening. Oh. Just go look it up. Or don't. If you tell you, I couldn't believe it. I am not approved in the least.
Starting point is 00:27:00 And I was like, did they just put this on television right after that football game with probably like 25 million people watching it? Didn't she like 70? Did you see what it was? No, I'm looking it up though. I got to look at it up too. I got to look at it up. I was watching Ryan do stuff with Darius.
Starting point is 00:27:15 It was like her and Sabrina Carpenter and then there were other people. But the thing, that the very first thing they showed was, whoa. There we go. Okay. They gave her like some big award. She went like an entertainer of the year or something last night.
Starting point is 00:27:32 What? Yeah, she did. Well, I didn't know they still had videos. So I was, I couldn't believe that. were on. Plus it was the MTV Music Awards
Starting point is 00:27:40 and it wasn't on MTV. That's what threw me off. Not only is it still around. I guess it's been promoted to the main CBS. I guess. We have some breaking news. It's not the outfit. I'll tell you during the break what was happening. It wasn't the outfit. It was what was happening. Yeah, I need to know. Let's, uh, we got some breaking news.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Rani. Nana. Steve Wilfong. Wilfong. He's a national recruiting analyst. Says five star defensive lineman Kellyn Hall. The number two ranked high school player in America. He's changing his prediction from Oklahoma to Kentucky.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Wow. Wow. And he goes to Louisville Christian. Yes. Yeah. Dude's obviously for real where he's ranked, but we don't get many like this to come out of the bluegrass. Number one defensive lineman in America and a number two player in America.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I know he's from Kentucky, but still. And by the way, he was committed to Oklahoma. why wouldn't Seneca driver also decommission? Yeah, I got to flip him too. Like Oklahoma stinks. Well, I'm pretty sure that the UK staff is letting Seneca driver know we use our tight-in a lot. And here's a video proof of how he can. He can also come tackle if he wants.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Let me give a shout out to the state of Kentucky. The number one defensive lineman and the number one tight-in in America are from Kentucky. Are you kidding me? When would that ever going to happen? A couple of pros. When did that ever happen? Yeah. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:29:07 And, you know, Kellan Hall from Louisville. Yeah. Guess who he's not considering. That's right. Sorry. Little dog. I mean, if you, if you,
Starting point is 00:29:19 my guess is he would play early. That's just probably what they're selling to it. Yes. So how good is it? Like, this kid must be, he's playing at Louisville Christian. I know there are people here listening
Starting point is 00:29:30 that have seen Louisville Christian play. Is he just like, does he just eat everyone when he's playing these games? If he's the number one defensive line in America, He's got to be just tearing everybody. Twice the size of the guy trying to block him probably most games. I mean, Louisville Christian, haven't they won like a million straight games? They're probably the best team in the state outside of Trinity.
Starting point is 00:29:49 But they're like 2A, right? Yeah, they're 3A. 3A, I think. I've not seen him play, but he was at the Alabama game and I saw him from a distance. And it does not look like a senior in high school. Looks like a dude who's ready to put on the helmet and go now. Isn't Louisville Christian the place where they do Botox in the parking lot? Oh, they did.
Starting point is 00:30:04 I forgot that story. Was it Louisville Christian? I remember talking about that. Was that Louisville Christian, Shannon? I remember you talking about the story, but I don't remember where it was. I think it was Louisville Christian where, like, as they're waiting to pick up their kids, they shoot Botox in the mother's face. I forgot that story.
Starting point is 00:30:20 I think that's right. I remember I had someone get really mad at me about that and say, like, you're ruining it. Don't get away our secret. No, they're saying like they're going to stop doing it if you're not careful. Yeah. And that was where they all get their Botox. So, number one defensive line in the country. Yeah, they produce the best defensive line.
Starting point is 00:30:37 and mothers Botox. And I think, remember a couple years ago I covered the KHSA state tournament in Mario Kart. I'm pretty sure they were like dominant in the video games. They win Mario Kart too. I'm pretty sure Cal was winning all the video games stuff too. So this school leads the country in football, or leads the state in football, Mario Kart and Botox.
Starting point is 00:30:55 That's a pretty diverse student body. I'd say so. Success. That's what it says to me. I wonder if the Botox still going on. You want to get some? No, I don't need the Botox. I recently had someone say I had very elastic skin and they were...
Starting point is 00:31:11 Elastic skin. Very cherubic face. That's not a compliment. You say that. You say that's not, like you don't want to be cherubic. Oh, okay. But elastic skin. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:31:22 That's good, I guess. Don't we know a coach on the Christian Academy? Well, no. The coach of Christian Academy's name is Matt Jones. That's what it is. Or no, he's country day. One of those two coaches, the coach's name is Matt Jones. And like people, I think he hates me because people are like, oh, you're the radio show guy.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And he's like, no, I coach the best football team in state. Leave me alone. I'm at the school with the Botox up. Jonesy, go ahead. Yeah, hey, good morning, fellas. Yeah, I just wanted to call in real quick and chime in on the South Carolina game coming up this weekend. You know, I know it feels good to see our boys ranked, but I worry that it's got a lot of us gassed up. Might even have the fans get, or might even have the team gassed up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Jane Beamer's desperate for a win. You guys said it. He's going to get fired most likely if you lose it. But what is wrong with the fans being gassed up? I mean, the team is a little different, but why can we not be gassed up? Why is it every time something good happens to UK football? People have to tell me to calm down. Like, why can I be happy?
Starting point is 00:32:24 We're ranked 24th. We're ranked for the first time in four years. Can I be happy about that? Of course. Yeah, I'm amped, man. I'm amped. But I think people are treating the South Carolina game as a gimmie. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:32:35 I'm seeing a lot of folks do so. You know, they're dunking on South Carolina talking about they don't stand a chance. And I'm out there too. I'm running my mouth just the same. But I think a lot of folks think that there's no way we could lose this. And it's a gimmie. And I don't think that's the case. I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I agree with you. But I'm still going to be excited, Seth, or excuse me, Jonesy. I'm not going to let you tell me to calm down. Like this, the whole point of being. a fan. The whole point of being a fan is to be happy and excited. If you just go into every game going, oh, Lord, we might lose. Like, I mean, that's not
Starting point is 00:33:13 fun. I just don't want them to stay at home. You know, if they can make it out to Columbia, go support the boys, you know. But I think you're more likely to get them to go if people think we can win. I mean, I know I appreciate the call. I'm more likely to go if they think we could win.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Like, I look at that Oklahoma game in a few weeks. I'm considering if we beat South Carolina and we beat LSU, I'm going to Oklahoma. And I might go anyway. But I decided that last this weekend. I was like, if we win both those games, I'm going to Oklahoma. Because then if you could beat South Carolina in LSU, then you can start really thinking about stuff. You know?
Starting point is 00:33:58 Sure. There's still some more winnable games coming up after that. There's a lot of winnable games. So before the year, South Carolina, Oklahoma, we thought completely different of those two teams, what we'd be walking into. Oklahoma, we thought it would be the toughest game on the schedule, and they've almost become a meme with Mateer going over his head. That's right. Shadyrays, Shaddyrays.com, if you need a pair of sunglasses that is high quality, but a price that you can afford go to Shady Race. Premium polarized shades that make it happen. And remember, they have the pappy van Winkled sunglasses.
Starting point is 00:34:30 That is what day? Tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow, from noon to six, you can register to get them. Pappy Van Winkle sunglasses. They look pretty cool. They do look pretty cool. Summit, Fritz Farm, Shady Race. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:34:46 T.J. Smith, personal injury attorney. Call T.J. He'll make them pay. Now, more of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage. Here's Matt Jones. She's almost like 70 now. Yes, she is. Yeah. She's crazy.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Yeah, I think she got like entertainer in the year or something in for our new song or something. Does she have a new song? I think she does. I don't know any songs now. So, I mean, to be fair. 859-280-2287. Text machine 772-7-4-5-254.
Starting point is 00:35:17 I need to know. I know there are people listening for Christian Academy of Louisville. Because that's what they call it Cal. I need to know if you're still doing the Botox in the parking lot. You think they're going to admit it even if they are? Well, I mean, that's how we found out the first time. I know.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Somebody snitched and then there's the rust-up. and we're mad about it. Then they're mad and we may cause them to stop. I need you to not know if they're still doing it because that's still one of the crazier things. The coach of Hunter of Christian Academy Louisville is Hunter Cantwell. Remember it played? Former Uville quarterback.
Starting point is 00:35:47 Yeah, there's a name. Hunter Can't Throwwell. Didn't know one of our old bosses used to coach out there too, didn't he? Me too, Earl? Yeah. Yeah, I think he did for a long time. That's a good place again. The things you remember.
Starting point is 00:36:01 That brain. You know, Earl, it was a girl. Earl played the NFL. Earl played the NFL. I liked Earl. You just like to make fun of her, which was not nice of you. All right, I want to go through some non-UK.Sports things quickly. Let's go through them. First of all, Tennessee, Texas. What do you think of the penalty, the referee going unsportsman-like conduct for simulating public urination? I feel like just saying unsportsman-like conduct would have been enough. I've never heard anybody say those words. I've never heard the ref go into that level of detail. They usually just say unsportsman-like conduct. They don't go into what was happening.
Starting point is 00:36:44 Yeah, they're never like penalty unsportsmanlike conduct, smacked them in the face or, you know, threw the ball. It was funny, though, for him to go simulating an act of using the bathroom. And if you're the Texas player, Colin Simmons, what made you think you'd get away with that? I know. That had to be a plan. To be fair to the official, that's exactly what. happened. Yeah, he made it clear.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Yep. Texas had a few other celebrations that were a little out of balance. And that could have cost them the game. I mean, like, because it was third, again, it was third down. And that was a big stop. I got it.
Starting point is 00:37:14 I want to say it was third one. Yeah. It's been a fourth down and now they're going to get a first down. That's sportsman like conduct. Defense, number one. They're stimulating using the restroom. Using the restroom. The rest room.
Starting point is 00:37:27 The guy said it. That's hilarious to me. Also, I talked about this. of the post-game show. One of the great moments I've ever seen on a broadcast. They go to Laura Rutledge. She starts talking about the Secret Service has worked with Texas and Tennessee to make sure that the communications will all be working during the game. Now, there's still a chance to go out, but officials do not believe that any of broadcasting will be affected. And Chris Fowler's like, thank you, Laura. That's a lot of good information. And then immediately,
Starting point is 00:37:57 Fowler and Herb Street's mics go out. Immediately. Immediately. It could not have been any perfect timing. I mean was immaccah. Herb Streets were out for like 15 minutes. Yeah, his was gone for a while. Fowler had to try to do everything by himself with a bad mic. The timing could not have been worse. It's like a setup pulling that off. We talked about it on the pregame show that I told you that like I had no idea, Shannon, you probably didn't hear this.
Starting point is 00:38:21 The Secret Service, when they're in large public events, the president, and for understandable reasons, the president always has to be able to have phone contact. Okay, yeah. That's fair. So they will sometimes, when he's entering and exiting a building with a lot of people, they will turn all the phones off. They have a way of making it to where they turn all cell service out. So they jammed.
Starting point is 00:38:45 So when he was entering or leaving, not necessarily Neon Stadium, but other stadiums in the past, they make it to where until he gets out, no one can be on the phone. Which is kind of crazy. The reason is he has no interference. It has to be able, the president always needs to be able to have communication in case like an act of war were to occur or something. So if he's in a, if he's in a room, there's a hard line. So they make sure any room he's in has a hard line. But if they are in transit and the only communication is cell phone, they will turn off all of the cell phones.
Starting point is 00:39:24 I don't know how his work differently. But, I mean, it makes sense to me, but I just did not know that. And they never did explain why it went out at that time. Like, did he go to the bathroom? You go get a hot dog? Was he just walking around, spitting him? He's not going to get a hot dog. They're bringing him.
Starting point is 00:39:38 He's like, you know, they're bringing to him. You think Donald Trump just goes and stands in line and Gerald Mincy? All right. The USC kid, that was an awful display when he hit Dante Moore. Not just to hit him, but then the celebration afterwards. I'm not like kick a person out, but I almost think you almost have to. We talked about the old rule used to be you had to sit out two halves. That is such a vicious hit.
Starting point is 00:40:04 But I mean, I would almost, I won't say kick him off the team, but I would almost suspend him just because of what he did after the hit. Forget about the hit. I mean, the guy's laying on the ground and can't move and you're up dancing. And then, like, then he continued to do it after he clearly knew that he was on the ground, you know? Yeah, I barely give you benefit of the doubt in the moment, but maybe you didn't realize you did it. This case, he definitely realized it.
Starting point is 00:40:27 He knew. When he got to the sideline, he 100%. knew what was going on and continued to laugh. He had several opportunities to stop laughing and just kept going and going and going. Yeah. Did you see that was scary too? That's one of those that was awful because the way his he shook, that was awful. And, you know, he's a good prospect as well. Super prospect. The Minnesota coach. Did you see this? I saw this one. Shannon. So PJ Fleck, I guess this happened in the middle of the night. The game ended like 2 a.m. They beat Washington, I think. And as it's over, his player is like,
Starting point is 00:41:00 got a bloody lip. He took his hand, rubbed it on his lip, and then put the blood on his face. What in the world. A vampire? What are you doing? How gross is that?
Starting point is 00:41:12 Disgusting. Is there a moment you would get so excited you would rub another man's blood on you? No. And then he went and shook hands with the other coaches and players. They're probably looking at him like, what in the hell happened to you? That's one of the strangest things I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:41:26 That man, it must be a psychopath. That's the row of the boat guy. He's always been a little crazy. Not that crazy. But that's a whole different level of crazy. It's like a cult leader or something. I know. War paint.
Starting point is 00:41:38 So weird. Even the players got to step back. What the hell? What are you doing? Get away too much. The President's Cup was this weekend. I didn't watch it. But America was behind, came back and won.
Starting point is 00:41:55 I want to ask you if you would have done this. Scotty Schaeffler had a match against one of the guys from the international team. The international player, he has his second shot, he goes back to swing, and some American fan hollers in his back swing, and he ends up slicing it. Scotty Schifler was mad about it,
Starting point is 00:42:17 so was obviously the player. They get to the green, and Scotty gives the guy the putt for part. And they tie the hole. For sportsmanship reasons, he's basically like you would have hit that on the green, I'm just going to give you the put. And they tie the hole.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Would you have done that? That's a great gesture. I probably would have done it. You would have? I probably would have. Because if he really thought he would be there in a distance where he could hit the green, was going to hit the green. Yeah, so Sheffler had a birdie putt.
Starting point is 00:42:47 When he missed it, the other guy had a 30-footer for par, and Sheffler just gave it to him. That's really cool that he did that. I thought that was really nice. I don't know that there are very many, especially for a hardened criminal like Scotty Sheffler. He's done real time. Yeah, I thought that was a really cool gesture. I think a lot of people might think they'd do it at the moment, but I wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:43:10 I wouldn't do it. I don't think a lot of people in the President's Cup would have done it. I think Scotty's unique to go that far. And the outcome was still in doubt. It wasn't like they had already won. The outcome was in doubt, but he was like, I don't want to win like that. I probably scold the guy in the crowd, where everybody can hear me publicly. I apologize to the other golfer, but I'm not giving you a 30-footer.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Shannon, I don't even need to ask you. Golf is so weird. It is so weird. That's like, sorry, man. I know you missed that free throw to put it into overtime, but here, the crowd was yelling, so here, I'm going to give you that point. Let's play overtime. But you don't think if you're trying to hit and the thing's dead silent and right
Starting point is 00:43:46 as you're about to hit someone screams. No, if you're good enough, it shouldn't matter. You miss the shot. You hit it into the woods. Don't blame the fan. Blame yourself. I'm not giving you the put. But the guy did scream in his back swing.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Unless he went up and tackled the guy, then no. You're not getting the shot. I knew Shannon would not give. So you're got to be the deciding vote. No, no. I probably wouldn't have thought to do it. If you did think, you still wouldn't do it. No, I think I would do it.
Starting point is 00:44:13 If I thought, if someone said to me, Scotty did, like, I don't know, think I would have thought to do it. But, like, now that it's been done, I think I would do it. But then again, maybe I wouldn't do it. That's true. I would have given myself the point. I would have. I would have given myself the birdie putt so he wouldn't have gotten a chance. Good, good.
Starting point is 00:44:31 You wouldn't just call his good? Mine's good. Get on out of here. Finally, Ryan, I thought of you when they took Justin Verlander out of the game. Yes, that was a good moment. That felt like the Ryan Lemon moment. It's baseball, his last time pitching, the daughter on the mound to get him out. I just thought Ryan Lemon is somewhere crying in a puddle of tears.
Starting point is 00:44:54 To see him the way he reacted to it too, just does. kind of pull at your heartstring. But he's one of the best pictures of our generation. He and Max Scherzer both finished their careers this weekend. Those were two legends, man. But for have his little girl of all, and it's a little girl run out there. That was so, like, I don't know who came up with the idea, but the idea of the manager letting the daughter go and take him out of the game. Love it. That's really sweet. Love it. I will say, again, it didn't melt Shannon's heartstrings, I'm sure. But it did kind of melt mine. I thought.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Drew, that was really nice. I'm sure both pre-show guys said, get her off the field. I'm not off the field. But I like Burlander admitted that he had no clues happening. He was absolutely blindsided. They did a good job of keeping it a secret. That's why his reaction was so natural and beautiful.
Starting point is 00:45:43 All right. Last thing. Did you see Josh Hines Allen, our Josh Allen, get into it with the ball boy yesterday? Yes. I did. The ball boy was someone needs to smack that dude in the face. Did you see that, Shannon?
Starting point is 00:45:57 No, I didn't see it. Okay, so Travis Hunter gets his first interception of all time. He spins the ball rather than, and so the ball boy comes and picks the ball up. Josh Allen, I guess being the veteran, was thinking Travis Hunter's going to want this ball.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Right, right. So he tries to, he asked the ball boy for it, tries to take it, and the ball boy goes nuts. He's like, get away from me. He touch me. He touched me. He touched me. I'm seeing it right now.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Yeah, I'm watching. He's screaming. He's screaming. He needs to stay in his lane. weren't they in Jacksonville? He was a home game. Yeah, it was a home game. So I saw the headline and people talking about it first, and I thought, oh, I got to watch this. This is going to be a horrible look for Josh Allen.
Starting point is 00:46:39 I can't believe he'd do this. No, Josh was in the right. And then I watched the video. I was like, that's what people are talking about? And when he said he touched me, he didn't even touch him. He reached for the ball. And he wasn't even like very forceful with it. I mean, he stuck his hands in there.
Starting point is 00:46:51 What's that ball boy doing? What's he doing with that ball? Especially when he's in the home field? That's your home team. Yeah, and that's the player that's on the billboards outside. What are you doing? Josh Allen is your best player. The ball boy's trying to stif arm him.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Yeah, he touched me. He was like, he touched me! He touched me! Josh Allen's their best player and Travis Hunter is their most popular player. Exactly. That was mind-blowing. You can't let that boy be the ball boy anymore. It's not that crazy when a milestone happens like that.
Starting point is 00:47:22 You give the ball to the ball boy should know, like this is probably Travis is going to want. That's a dude who has way too much power in his mind. Hey, Jeffrey! Get he can't leave me out of love? That's a ball man. That's not even a boy. He's not even a kid.
Starting point is 00:47:33 He's not even a kid. That is a grown man acting like that. I was ready to see Josh Allen like powerbom or something violent. And to Josh's credit, he just runs away. He throws his arms up like, what is going on? I would have been looking at you going, what are you doing? I'll buy the stupid football. That was, that was wild.
Starting point is 00:47:55 I'm like Drew when I first saw it I thought okay something bad's happened I think Chris Rodriguez scored a touchdown yesterday for the Jaguars Wondell got one too against his old team A BBN is pain stiffness or a numbing sensation preventing you from enjoying watching your favorite teams compete We'll go to court physical therapy

Starting point is 00:50:36 A panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No! I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audra McDonald's at the Wonderland Bookstore. That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore.
Starting point is 00:50:54 yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark 30. No way. You have to come to the last bookstore, though. Kim Cottrell is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween.
Starting point is 00:51:13 He gets right up next to the microphone. I hear you can almost hear the eyelashes hit each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Starting point is 00:52:33 Middle School is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy, and this is Therapy for Black Girls. We spend real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two Black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological. and neurological and psychological chaos happening all this same time. We got into group chats and gaming, friendships and bullying,
Starting point is 00:53:01 and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. There's belonging. You could think of belonging as I can be myself and I can still be accepted. And then there's fitting in. Spitting in says I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers, sitting down with therapist Keer Gaines on Black fatherhood
Starting point is 00:53:23 and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have on shorts, so you can't do flips, you have on the dressy up across your legs. That's the range of this run, from screen time to identity to the father's doing the work at home. We have to get off her device. But the reality is there's a lot of life out there that we don't want you as your adults in their lives to miss out on. This has been our surviving middle school run. Brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy.
Starting point is 00:53:51 Listen to therapy for black girls on the IHeart Redmond. app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Self-care September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be in everything shower. It can be putting your phone on, do not disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff. And understanding your patterns, your boundaries,
Starting point is 00:54:14 finally figuring out while you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again. I'm Gemma Spag, the host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast. And each week we unpack the psychologist. behind the experiences that shape your 20s, from relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter life crisis, which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something.
Starting point is 00:54:41 When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself. Get to know yourself as well. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the I-Heart Reefat. radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, everybody, it's me, W. Comaubel. This season of my podcast, who's with me, I speak with two-time Emmy Winner, and weirdly
Starting point is 00:55:06 one of my best friends, Kevin Avery. Everything up to that point, build you as a comic. Us going on the road, doing Battle Mountain and Ely. Yeah, you took me, you were one of the first people who took me on the road, which is funny, because at the time, I was like, I don't know if I like this guy. With rapper, actor, David Diggs. The jump off for me was Hamilton, and it was the most popular thing in a very long time. But it was still, for me, it was me and my friends making something dumb.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Bruce Lee's daughter and Brandon Lee's sister, Shannon Lee. Back to your initial point of stewarding my father's legacy and giving my energy to that. You're lending your life to stewarding somebody else's life. Listen to Who's With Me with Debbie Kumabelle on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast. or wherever you get your podcasts. That video is still so funny. He touched me. He pushed him.
Starting point is 00:56:04 The ball boy pushed Josh Allen harder than Josh pushed him. All right. Draft Kings real quick, before I go the phones, draft Kings bet five. You can get up to $200 in bonus bets. Crown is yours at draft kings. Our KSR Parley went one and three. The only person who got it right was Ryan.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Ballnor. That can't be no. It can be very good. That's crazy. Ryan, that's probably never happened where you're No, and I don't want to jinx myself, so. Yes. Tonight is Eagles and Bears.
Starting point is 00:56:31 Bears are starting Case Kingdom. Ugh. The Eagles are three and a half-point favorites. Who you got? Games in Chicago. Yeah. I'll say the Bears cover. I'll trust Case for you.
Starting point is 00:56:45 I'm going to go Eagles. Yeah, I'm going to go Eagles. Eagles almost lost to the Titans. Let's not forget that. Money Line. Are you doing Bears Money Line? So you believe in the case? I don't like the Bears, but I hate the Eagles.
Starting point is 00:56:57 So it's lesser of the two evils. for me. Give me the bears. All right. Let's go to Seth. Go ahead, Seth. I was calling from last week. How is Ryan not seen Friday Night Lights? It seems like the show was made for him. It's about a small town high school coach. Everyone in town called him coach.
Starting point is 00:57:16 It's feel good. It's one of my favorite shows, but I feel like Ryan love it. I completely agree with you. That show was tailor-made for Ryan Lemon. Like if you were to create a quality TV show that Ryan should like, It's Friday Night Lights. I appreciate the call. You're exactly right. Like, I mean, there are terrible shows that I could see you like more because you like terrible
Starting point is 00:57:39 things. But in terms of a high quality show, I can't think of a high quality show you would like more than Friday Night Live. Yeah, I watched the movie, but, you know, during that era. The movie's much better than the TV show. Yeah, the movie was all outstanding. Well, this is much better. The movie's entertaining, but I don't know that I think it's good.
Starting point is 00:57:58 The TV show, I think is good. Maybe I'll start it and try to get into it. You should. Andy, go ahead, Andy. I got two things. One, Matt, I know you can't make it because you got Matt and Myron, but you say you like to get invited. Just the same. I invite you to go with us to the Verity movie after the Shaggy Raz remote.
Starting point is 00:58:20 I can't. I like you, Andy. I can't go to the movie that you called earlier and like, I can't do that with you. But I do want you to tell me if it's good. So you're going to go on the old. opening day. Oh, yeah. Yeah, we're coming to the shady race, and we're going straight there afterwards.
Starting point is 00:58:37 It starts at 1.30. Okay, gotcha. Well, I hear there's going to be a lot of women there, so get your game ready. That's an even more reason for me to go. That's right. All right. Well, I hope you enjoy it. You give me a review, okay?
Starting point is 00:58:50 Okay. Okay, hey, my second thing is I think we got a legitimate shot at going three and one in October. I don't think that's crazy. And my question is, out of both the road team, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Who do you feel more confident in that we could win? Appreciate the call. I'd probably say South Carolina just because I think Oklahoma might end up playing
Starting point is 00:59:13 a little bit better, and we are catching South Carolina with them playing the worst. Yeah, we're still mostly healthy coming off of South Alabama game. Oklahoma, maybe when we get to it, they're even more in shambles, but I don't think we could be asking for a better version of South Carolina than the one that's going to stumble in there Saturday. They still might win. I understand they're an underdog, but this is a great opportunity.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Yeah, right now, South Carolina is a dumpster fire. Oklahoma not there yet, but maybe, like you said, by the time we play them, it might be a dumpster fire over there. Or they might be better. Yeah. Very true. Jury's still out on that one. Jeff, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Hello? Yes, go ahead. Hey, Matt, this is Jeff from Central Florida. I was at Walcons on Saturday and took pictures with you all, you and the guys. I was up for a funeral in Louisville, my brother and all passed away. Yes. Yeah, I just want to call and tell you all thanks, and you all made my day. We had a wonderful time in Lexington.
Starting point is 01:00:13 We actually stayed at an Airbnb at a horse farm in Paris, and we just had a great time. The game was good, and everything was good, and you all were wonderful, and I really appreciate it, and I'll look you all up next time I'm in Kentucky. Thank you, for you. Thank you so much. And God bless you with what you were dealing with your family. It was very nice to meet you. I appreciate the call. Drew, go ahead, Drew. Good afternoon, fellas. This is your unofficial KSR representative here in the adequate city of Columbia, South Carolina.
Starting point is 01:00:47 All right. We just got a minute. Go ahead. I just wanted to call and give a couple of things that I've been hearing around here. They're already looking forward to December when the $7 million goes off a shame. Bimmers buyout and already looking to replace them with the guy that's running the offense, which I don't think is an upgrade, but, you know, Carolina goes after names. And ever since, Breyer, they've been looking for something and that kind of put it in their head that they're a football school. Who is the offensive coordinator?
Starting point is 01:01:19 Art Browles as a son. Art Brails and son. All right. I hate to cut you off, but we're the show's ending. But thank you very much. As long as they don't hire somebody good. Yeah, I'm good. All right.
Starting point is 01:01:29 Well, thank you all very much. Thank you, sir. No, thank you. No, thank you. It's been an honor and a pleasure. We're going to take cover zero here in 30 minutes. Tape it. We'll be looking for that.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Shut up. We tape. Lisa, tell them about our new show. We have a new podcast. It's called Don't Lie to Me. I'm Lexi Youanu. We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart. And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,
Starting point is 01:02:00 occasionally different opinions. And at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all. Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes, good taste is my business.
