This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter.

Starting point is 00:01:14 We're in the middle of a game. This linebacker, this linebacker walks up to me. He goes, hey, ref, my mom wants you to wave at her. What? Time out. Quarterback on office blue 42. A rep. My mama want you to wave at her.

Starting point is 00:02:21 We're two men who were completely clueless to reality TV, and we're gearing up for the season finale of Survivor. I know we annoyed a lot of our listeners by our severe lack of survival. or knowledge. That is the point of the show. I'm just going to remind you. Again, we are experts. Listen to Podmeets Tworl on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Welcome, everyone. It is the local Toyota Dealer's KSR postgame show. I am Matt Jones, and I have to tell you, I've been to a lot of U.K. Football games over the years. Been to a lot of road football games over the years. Not sure there's been better than this one tonight. I'm here on the grove or actually in a building outside the grove. I was supposed to be standing out on the grove in the Oxford, well, not the Oxford, excuse me,
Starting point is 00:03:10 the Old Miss security or Old Miss police came and told me that I was not allowed to do it because Old Miss Athletics had complained that I was doing the show, which I didn't think that would show up. And their exact quote, because I want to get right, is no electrical cords are allowed to run out of a doorway of a building on a game day. Oh, please. Which is a lot of words to say, we just beat their ass and they're being lame and will not let me go celebrate. We had a ton of people out here ready for those of you that are in Oxford.
Starting point is 00:03:43 You'll remember this one too, because this was absolutely awesome. In the stadium, there weren't a lot of Kentucky fans there. I'll be honest. When I was here two years ago, we probably had 30% of the crowd. That wasn't the case today, but I will say for the people that were there, that was one of the coolest atmosphere. that I could remember. I said before the game that it wasn't loud in there.
Starting point is 00:04:06 I was correct. The only time it ever got loud was when they jacked their music up to about a thousand during the things, but the fans were almost never loud. But who was loud were the Kentucky fans when the game was over after an absolutely, to me, stunning win. I hope you've seen the videos of the locker room after the game. People going absolutely crazy in the locker room. Mark Stoops did a crowd surfing.
Starting point is 00:04:31 This was an awesome win. And if you think about all the different times during the game, when it could have gone poorly and yet they found a way to win, it's pretty amazing. You know, they come in right at the beginning. We think we get a fumble, no fumble. Then they come down and score on what, four plays, seven nothing. And the four of us here at the game, I thought, man, we might get 40 put on us. Instead, their game plan, which was methodical and which worked to perfection.
Starting point is 00:04:59 control the ball. They were conservative, but they also took shots. They also threw the ball. I mean, I actually think we were much more effective throwing than running today, which you did not, at least I did not see coming before it started. And then Kentucky just kept trading, punch for punch. And there were about three moments in the second half that I thought, well, on the post game, I'm going to say, you know, they played really well,
Starting point is 00:05:25 but just weren't quite able to do it. One was when they went for the drive, made it 1713. I thought, well, you know, it's not going to happen. Then we went three and out, we kicked it back to him, and I thought, well, then it's really not going to happen. Instead, we stopped them three straight times, twice, three and out to give our offense a chance, a chance. And then, unbelievably to me, I mean, it was a right call. But on fourth and eight from the 20, our own 20, he goes for it. And I think that Barry and Brown pass, it might not be Stevie Gott,
Starting point is 00:05:57 loose territory, but it's getting close. I mean, it is up there. A 63-yard pass, which was well-thrown, but the play by Berion Brown, and then you got to go back. If Berion ends up in the NFL, they'll use that tape on draft night when he's picked. He runs 10 yards, stops, and then turns and goes in another direction. Stop, backs up and turns around. You never see a receiver do that on the sideline. Does it, nearly scores. They then did a really good job of clock management. They score, and there was a lot of celebration, but there was still, what, three minutes to go, fourth down and, what was the fourth down? Fourth and 11, fourth and eight, when they threw 40 yards to a tight end. I'm not sure what our safety was doing there. He didn't even jump,
Starting point is 00:06:46 and they catch it, they get it at the 35, and at that point, probably all of you thought, well, here we go again. Instead, the defense buckles down, stops them, makes them do a, well, then you get the third down where we create a fumble but are off sides. Once again, you think, well, there's another one where we'll sit there and go, oh, how did that happen? After all of that, comes down to third down and eight, they get a stop, and then Ole Miss misses a 48-yard field goal, and we win the game. I'm so happy for this group. They're three and two, which is, by the way, what we thought would they be at this point in the season. When you consider how bad they looked at South Carolina, when you consider the conversations we had been,
Starting point is 00:07:32 to play the way they played against Georgia and Ole Miss, two of the top seven teams in the country, could have beaten Georgia at home, didn't, and then you go and win at Ole Miss. I just want people to take a step back and think about this win. This is the biggest, highest-ranked road win for Kentucky since 19th. 1777. This is literally the highest ranked road win of my lifetime. And it happened today when a lot of people, and I have to be honest at times I was wavering, a lot of people had given up on the season. And instead they come and get that victory. I want to give a shout out to some players. First of all, Dionne Walker. I mean, Dionne Walker was all. Double team the entire game, still made a ton of plays, was able to, for most of the game, completely clogged. up the middle. He had one drive where I think he got really tired and they were able to run up the middle. He missed a tackle at one point. But besides
Starting point is 00:08:28 that, absolute hoss. The defense, especially on the corners, without Maxwell Harrison in, a lot of times Lane Kiffin would put him where they were in one-on-one situations where it was one guy and he had to make a tackle and then they would do it. Probably four or five plays
Starting point is 00:08:44 down the stretch where there's only one guy that can make a tackle he would make it, stop them before they could get a first down. Those were huge plays. Obviously, Berion's play was amazing. Dane Key, though, in the first half. I mean, Dane Key, catch after catch, after catch, including a couple hard ones. And then I think he got to, got to give a big shout out to Brock Vandigriff. Not perfect, but pretty good. I mean, let's just be real.
Starting point is 00:09:10 We've never had a quarterback in my lifetime go win on the road against the top 10 team. He didn't throw everything perfect, but he was pretty good. If I had any complaint, maybe a couple times he held onto the ball too long. But his decisions really weren't that bad. And when he threw it, he pretty much had it on target. Dane had one or two drops. Caddus had a couple drops. Macklin had a drop.
Starting point is 00:09:34 But most of his incompletions weren't on him. And then those big throws down the stretch, he deserves a huge amount of praise. It is a great win for Kentucky. They get a buy next week. They have three winnable games after that. And look, I'm not going to sit here and say they're going to make the playoff. I don't think they probably will. But a 9 and 3 Kentucky team that would have a road win at Old Miss
Starting point is 00:10:00 if they could sneak one of those Texas and Tennessee games. I'm not saying, I'm just saying. If you could sneak one of them, you know, I'm not saying, I'm just saying. First, though, you get a week off and you got to play Vandy, and we know that's been a problem a couple times. but it will be an awesome week off. The fan base is still going to be completely rejuvenated, and I hope Lexington, I saw pictures and videos,
Starting point is 00:10:28 I hope Lexington is having as much fun as the Kentucky fans are here. I've said this many times on my show. There is no outside of maybe a final four or when there's a last second shot in the NCAA tournament, a lot of the Aaron Harrison ones. I'm not sure there's a better feeling as a sports fan than a football team winning a big game on the road. I haven't been to many when they've won.
Starting point is 00:10:56 I was at Stoops' first big road win at South Carolina, and that one was really special. But this is the best one I've ever been a part of. Probably one or two of those Louisville ones that they've stolen were pretty good, but this one's pretty much up there. And I will finish with this. You know, the Old Miss Media, fans, you know, all of them were very hard on me all week about my comments about the stadium.
Starting point is 00:11:22 I will give them a compliment. These are really nice people. Did we have one person be mean to us while we were here? Not really. I mean, like, seriously, I don't think I've ever been to a road game where every single person was nice, except the woman who complained from Old Miss Athletics. But besides her, pretty much every single person was nice. But what I said was not wrong.
Starting point is 00:11:44 That stadium was not loud, and I'll tell you when it got really quiet. Right then, when we were able to score and miss that kick, I've never heard a stadium more silent, except for small chance of Go Big Blue all outside the building. I'm here at Ole Miss. We will take your calls. I assume you all are happy. I want to hear about it. I've had to do a lot of football shows in my 15 years on the air after bad losses.
Starting point is 00:12:12 This has got to be one of the best wins. I look forward to hearing from you. And all of you at Oxford, we have had probably a couple hundred people try to come to this. I'm sorry, we tried to do it. They're being whiny, but they're being whiny because they just took an L on their home field. Cats get a victory right here in Oxford. We'll take a break and be right back. It's the local toy dealers.
Starting point is 00:12:33 KSR post-game show. Vandergriff drops. Blitz coming. He's throwing it up the far sideline. And it's caught Brown at the 30. He stayed in. What a throw, Vandergrim, dropped it in, right into the hands of Brown streaking down the left side.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Millie, I can't remember the last time I attempted to jump that high. I mean, that was one of the more shocking plays I can ever. I can't think of a Kentucky football play more shocking to me. You know, you go back to like the Stevie Got Loose or the LSU stop on fourth down or like the Florida to plays a few years ago when we beat them on the road, like they were kind of set up where you knew we had to make a play, and then we did. Billy, I had already, like, I was already thinking we're going to have to get another three and
Starting point is 00:13:27 out and get the ball back. I didn't even consider that that could work. And then when it did for 63 yards, Billy, I lost it in that stadium. I hope so. And, you know, we've been pretty critical of fourth down calls this year, but fourth and seven from their own 19-yard line will go down in history, I think. And, you know, Lane had two different. calls fourth and two on their side of the field and punted both times.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Now, the analytics probably said those were the right plays, but I'd be interested to hear if he would have second thoughts. Because I will say, you know, my old thing that I heard Bill Simmons say once, you always in football, if you're, you don't want to do what the other team wants you to do. And Billy, in both circumstances, I wanted him to punt. You know what I mean? And both times he did.
Starting point is 00:14:15 It. Lane Kevin Post game commended Mark Stoops and said he did something he probably had never done in his career and aired it out there. He did air it out. Yeah, he did. I mean, that was a, and I'll also give him credit. You know, they called timeout to, I think the play before. I didn't like it in the moment. I thought they were wasting a timeout.
Starting point is 00:14:36 But I think it made sure that they were set to make the right decision. It is clear to me based on the fact that they didn't even come close to running off the field. They were staying out, no matter. or what. So you've got to give him a lot credit. Those, you know, a lot of people have been critical about his over-conservative game management. He managed the end of the first half perfectly this game. He managed the end of the game perfectly this game. And then one more person to give a shout out to, Bush Hamden. That was an awesome, awesomely called game. If you had any questions about him as
Starting point is 00:15:09 the offensive coordinator, that was an awesomely called game. And then Brad White, I mean, you just held old miss how many times this year you think old miss will only score 17 points i bet it's not many i bet even the games they they if they lose they'll still score 24 30 31 uh to hold them to 17 on their home field it's just awesome all right who's up first Ethan Ethan go ahead Ethan hey mad how's it going i it was awesome i'm not just saying that with with three of my really good well three of my really good friends two of them my other really good friends staying at their house. Like, it's just been awesome.
Starting point is 00:15:48 Hey, man, I just wanted to say I thought the coaching staff did a good job of time management. I thought he did a lot better than he did in the Georgia game. You know, we held, we had, we controlled the time of possession very well. And I'm just excited, man. Is this the biggest win we've had in the football side of things that we've ever had in the program history? Well, I mean, not the program history probably. but I mean it's the biggest road win. It's the biggest road win, you know, well, it's the highest ranks of my lifetime.
Starting point is 00:16:20 The only ones I can think of on the road that were against teams this good. When we beat Louisville when Lamar fumbled, that's a great road win. But then like, all right, I mean, go back before that. I mean, how many really great teams have we beaten on the road? That Florida team we beat the first time, I think they ended up like eight and four, so they were good. but this is a team people having the playoffs, sir, and now they actually go and win on the road.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Yeah, I agree. Personally, I think Ole Miss is a bunch of fraud, you know. They didn't play anybody the first four games of the year, and then we come in there and just absolutely annihilate them. We didn't annihilate them. I mean, let's be fair, we didn't annihilate them. I mean, if they make the field goal, we go to overtime, but we want. Yeah, I got you.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Well, it was a great time. I'm excited about the future. Go cats. Let's go, baby. Go cats. I agree completely. This is, you know, whatever happens the rest of the year. This is one Mark will be able to hang his hat on. Is this one? I mean, best road win in my lifetime. That's an insane stat in and of itself. What's next? J.C. J.C. How are you, J.C.? Good, man. This is J.C. from Auburn. I just want to give a big shout out to Dane C for that first half performance and also to Bush Hamden because that first half script was awesome. I'll hang up and give me your thoughts, man.
Starting point is 00:17:42 I thought both those, yes. I mean, Bush Hamden, man. You know, we were joking, my friends and I in the crowd. I mean, it was a lot of quarterback draw. And in the second half, we really weren't able to run the ball much. But when they adjusted and we weren't able to run, Brock made throws. You know, Brock made throws. And they, he schemed a lot of guys open.
Starting point is 00:18:02 You know, we talked about the two drops. On one of those late drives, Jordan Dingell is, is wide open. and the ball gets tipped. But if it doesn't get tipped, that was a 20-yard pass right there, Billy. That was schemed open. There was a tight-in screen earlier with Willie Rodriguez that worked perfectly.
Starting point is 00:18:20 You know, I mean, guys made big catches, especially Dane and Barry on, and Fred Ferrier made a couple good catches. But, you know, the scheme was absolutely great. Text machine is 772-745254. I know it's going to be hard to get in. So if you have stuff you want to say, I'll read it here.
Starting point is 00:18:36 By the way, for those of you that keep knocking on the door at this building, We can't let you in. I'm sorry. I mean, I want to let you in. But we specifically, when the old miss police were here, they were like, you can't do it outside and they can't come in. So, you know, I thought this was America. I thought that Joe Biden's America, hubby, where you can't do this, I thought this was America.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Boo, Mississippi. What's next? Jake. Jake, how are you, Jake? What's up, Matt? I'm just going to tell you. my cowbell jake first off and i just got to tell you i just got back from the game on my way home and let me tell you oh miss is a bunch of just wicked people i mean flim flam bim bam bam
Starting point is 00:19:21 haughty what's going on matt are you are you a wait a man you said you were cowbell are you a mississippi state fan or a kentucky fan no no no so in mississippi state last year i took a cowl this year i took a omit below tell you what man i'm not i'm not backing down for from anything. Number six went on the road. I mean, I mean, Christmas come early. I agree with you. Appreciate the call.
Starting point is 00:19:49 I sat next to a Mississippi State fan today. This kid, he was by himself. I don't know how he ended up in the game. A Mississippi state fan by himself who came just to root against Ole Miss, which, Bill, you got to love that hate, right? Be like me going to a Louisville game by myself just to root against him.
Starting point is 00:20:06 And Blue gets in. He was going as crazy as the Kentucky fans, which I thought was. was awesome. One thing I want to bring up, you know, as unlucky as Kentucky's gotten with fumbles, the Gavin Wimset fumble straight to Josh Kattis. So let's talk about that for a second. Okay, so they put Gavin Wimzit in. You're right.
Starting point is 00:20:23 That's the best break in the world. First of all, what if Gavin Wimzit had fumbled that and they recovered it? That would have been one of those things that's criticized forever. After how good Brock had been playing. But then guess who fumbles it or catches it? Josh Caddus, who Billy had dropped all those passes early in the game. Yep. So it was kind of fitting the guy who's taken all this criticism, rightfully so,
Starting point is 00:20:48 because I don't think he played well. He falls on the ball. I didn't get a good angle of that, Billy. Was anyone else close to it? That was on the other end of the field, so I couldn't really see it. Yeah, not really. It kind of just perfectly landed in his hands, and then he dove into the end zone. Let me ask you a question.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Another thing I couldn't see, what did Berion do for the unsportsman like? I never saw or heard what it was. Well, they didn't show it on TV, but I imagine he just said something he's not allowed to say. Yeah. I will tell you, the crowd was furious about the past that Old Miss caught that they called incomplete, said it hit the ground. But again, we didn't have the best replays, but Billy, that looked to me like it was incomplete. Is that right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Yes, I think that was the correct call. Did that have a whole look to you? Yeah, he didn't have complete control when it hit the ground. the ball can hit the ground and it'd still be a catch, but it was not in that instance. Well, the crowd didn't like it, but, you know, again, back to the stadium, it's not exactly the highest quality LED boards in there. So it was kind of like watching it, you know, on my TV in my room in 1986. So I couldn't really tell what happened.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Who's next? E.J. E.J., what's up? What's up, Matt? How are you? Doing great. Awesome. I'm just so happy about this win.
Starting point is 00:22:06 because we set the tempo on both offense and defense. And I feel like especially against a fast, yeah, especially against a fast team like Oldhamis, I think it really gives me a lot of optimism versus Tennessee. And what about that very first hit on that kickoff? Oh, that was great hit, wasn't it? Yeah, I mean, that was such a great hit. I mean, it ended up not being a fumble, but that was such a, I mean,
Starting point is 00:22:27 he just leveled him. And I thought that set the tone for this team. Now, of course, they went down and scored five plays later. But that was still a great hit. Who was that? I hate to keep asking. Willie Rodriguez. Was it Willie?
Starting point is 00:22:39 Okay, gotcha. Who had a big catch, too. Yeah, I hate to keep asking these questions. But, you know, I rarely sit in the stands for a football game. And because my friends were here, I did here. And I'm glad I did because that was a lot of fun. What's the, what was the time of possession, Billy? Because it felt like we owned the ball.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Oh, it's a lot to a little. I got to find it, but it was impressive. Yeah, find me what the time of possession is. Because that, I mean, I think that was a key. We held onto the ball. It was 39, 43 to 2017. Yeah, exactly. So we had, what, 60%? 40 to 20.
Starting point is 00:23:10 No, 66%. It's 40 to 20. We had the ball 2 thirds of the game. That's exactly what you had to do to win. Who's next? Jackson. Jackson. How are you, Jackson?
Starting point is 00:23:22 I'm doing amazing, Matt. I couldn't honestly be better. I've got a few things to say. I heard a lot of Ole Miss fans talking about the Grove. The only Grove I know is the Grove Sweet Party song that we're going to be playing all night tonight. And the second thing you've got to say is good thing for Ole Miss if this game was early because the libraries are still open. Go cats, go big, go.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Yeah, that's right. It's going to be cheaper to get in the library tonight. I think you'll be, I won't do it, but if you want to go, I bet it's not quite as expensive. I'll give Old Miss credit for this. It doesn't seem like losing stops their partying. There's just as many people out there, Billy,
Starting point is 00:23:57 as I think there was after they won a couple years ago. Yeah, that's Old Miss. You got to give them credit for that. They don't. Is Louisville losing? Is that what I'm saying? They were down 2414 last time I checked. I'm not sure what it is now.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Man, what a perfect day if we could get a Louisville loss too. That would be a heartbreaking. By the way, what about the dude ruining my namesake, Billy, and faking that injury? What's that about? Oh, when Matt Jones fell down? Yeah. Yeah, that was pretty awful. And that was not the only time Ole Miss did that.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Look, there aren't a lot of, well, there are a lot of Matt Joneses in this world. Don't be sullying our name by going out there and faking injuries. That was, I saw that. That made me angry. By the way, yeah, Louisville's down by 10 to Notre Dame. name. Auburn leads Oklahoma by seven. Did BYU win?
Starting point is 00:24:42 They were killing them. Yeah. They were winning by a lot. All right. What's next? Zane. Zane. How are you, Zane?
Starting point is 00:24:49 I'm good. If we would have beat, if we would have beat, if we would have beat South Carolina, what do you think we'd be next week, be ranked next week? I don't want to do the if too much, but I will say, if we'd be in South Carolina,
Starting point is 00:25:06 we really would be looking. at thinking about a way to go to the playoff. I mean, we really would. Like, that's hard to say because we didn't beat South Carolina. But if we had, it would be a different thing because, you know, Auburn, Florida, Vandy are not very good. And then Louisville, it's hard to know how good they are yet. And then you have Tennessee and Texas.
Starting point is 00:25:27 But if you'd beat in South Carolina, you might have been able to lose to Tennessee and Texas and still go. So it is what it is, ifs and butts. But what do I think we'd have been ranked? if we beat South Carolina, played Georgia like we did. I'd say we'd probably still be like 17 or 18, but we've got a bunch of games we can win back to back, so I think we could have risen quickly.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Okay, thank you. I'll say one more thing. Go Notre Dame and L's down. Yeah, there you go. 859-280-2287. Text machine 7-7-7-4-5-25. People keep coming and banging on the door, Billy. I wish...
Starting point is 00:26:02 Why are the Old Miss... Well, it's old... I'm not blaming the police, actually. but blame old mess athletics what kind of what kind of rule is that billy you can't have a cord going out of a building on a game day yeah that's sour grapes to me that actually looked at the police officer to be fair he was a little hostile when he came in and then he calmed down a little bit and he actually was laughing a little bit with me at the end and i said i showed him the tweet i was going to send and i said i want to make sure this is right are you okay if i send this and he said no
Starting point is 00:26:30 it's outside of a of a door or a window I was like, I'm not writing the or a window. I was like I was not trying to, but he wanted to be very clear. The rule is door or a window, Billy, for future. Well, it definitely must have been campus police because the Oxford Police Department are pretty cool, at least online. Yeah, they actually wrote, somebody wrote them and they said it wasn't us. It was the Ole Miss. But to be honest, to be even fair to the Ole Miss Police, I think it was Ole Miss athletics being lame.
Starting point is 00:26:59 And considering how much trash Lane Kiffin talks, I don't know that the athletic department should be that lame. Who's next? Hack. Hack, what's up, Hack? Matt, quick compliment. You came up with good comparison. This does measure up with Steve he got loose. Fourth and eight at a 64-yard pass, two minutes to go against the top 10 and up.
Starting point is 00:27:21 Yes, it measures up. Second point, I hate Louisville. I despise you of El Sports. But if they play North Korea tomorrow, if they play North Korea tomorrow, I'm sitting between Dennis Rodman and a fat Asian cat with a fifth-four haircut. But we've got to cheer for Louisville to be an bloated top 10 with weak opponents coming in common or Kroger the last week propelling. There's some truth to that.
Starting point is 00:27:47 I mean, there's some truth to that. I'm going to need to see us before. I'm not getting my hopes up about anything crazy because I'm going to see need to see us beat Vanderbilt, take care of business against Auburn, go win at Florida. But you are right. Well, I'm not worried about Murray State. But you are right that you're correct that there's.
Starting point is 00:28:06 you know, there's a world where things would happen where we need Louisville to be good coming into that game. I'm not ready to do that yet. You also, you look at their schedule, besides Notre Dame, the only team good they play is Clemson. So, like, I think they cannot be very good and still, if they lose today, be nine and two when they come to us. Yeah, in Georgia truck Clemson, so who knows?
Starting point is 00:28:29 Yeah, yeah, who knows? I appreciate the call. We'll beat Louisville. Of all the games left on the schedule. We're going to be little. We're going to take a break. 859-2-80-2287. An awesome day.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Billy, do I sound giddy? I feel like I sound giddy. Yeah, and you should. Well, I am giddy. It's fun. We're going to have fun tonight. They're burning couches on State Street. Our friend Melissa, we're staying with.
Starting point is 00:28:51 She cooks the best food. Is that not right, Nick? I mean, it's the best food. So it's great to be here in Oxford. We'll take a break. Be right back. This is the local Toyota dealers, KSR, Post-Gameship. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:29:03 It is the local Toyota. Dota Dealers KSR post-game show here in right outside of the Grove, in a building right outside of the Grove in Oxford. One person writes, Matt, I was very mad at Barry and Brown for his penalty, and then I loved him for the catch. You know what? The penalty was stupid. Penalty was really stupid.
Starting point is 00:29:24 I don't know what he said, but it must have been bad because people are yelling all the time, and if it was that bad, but you know what? He made up for it. Berion giveeth. Berion taketh away. In this case, he finished with the giveeth, and I'm glad we had him. He was complaining a lot during the game about not getting the ball, a lot. As a matter of fact, I thought to myself, because we were right behind the UK bench,
Starting point is 00:29:44 and I thought to myself, man, on the postgame, I may have to say something about this. Well, you know what? He got the ball, and he made it work. So, listen, if you're going to talk, you know, you got to back it up. And he talked, and he backed it up. Who's up next, Billy? Nate's next. Nate, go ahead, Nate.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Hey, Matt, how you doing this afternoon, man? Well, I'm doing great. How are you? Buddy, I'm excited, man. Hey, I just got one thing to say, and I'm going to hang up and let you have the rest of the day. But how about them cats, baby? How about them cats? How about them cats? That's exactly right.
Starting point is 00:30:19 I appreciate it. It is a good day. If I was there, Billy, the only bad thing about me being here is if I was there, I'd probably go, like, to the bar tonight and buy everybody drinks. Now I can't do. You could probably still do it. You could still buy everybody to drink. No, because there's like a rule. You have to be there and you have to like it's, there's the rule, the ABC rules are crazy in Kentucky.
Starting point is 00:30:41 So because now you could go do it because you're not the owner. I don't have the capital for that. If you like to go do it. But if you'd like to go do it, go. That would be good. You want to go do that for everybody? Celebrate your hay bale toss. I didn't win any money in the Haybail contest.
Starting point is 00:30:56 They didn't give me any money for that. Yeah, that's right. They didn't give you any money. Who's next? John. John. How are you, John? Hey, Matt.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I've been down here. walking around the grove all day, walking around feeling like that, you know, we had a chance. Some pledges from some random fraternity ran up, grabbed my UK hat, ran off. I was like, you know what? I'm not going to get mad. I'll see you after the game. And you know what? Stoops pulled through.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Here I am walking around the grove. Nobody wanted to make eye contact. I'm saying that UK is here to stay and Stoops is a winner. Yeah. Well, I'm glad you get to walk. Like I said, I've said this many times. I appreciate it. There is nothing better than being at a road game when you win.
Starting point is 00:31:42 And walking around, you know, they can't really say anything to you. So true story here, Billy. As I were walking out, we were kind of in this little, like when you leave, it's actually not the safest way to leave a stadium. There's only like two or three corridors and they're very narrow. I actually thought to myself, this is a very dangerous way to leave a stadium. But we got kind of stuck in one of these, Billy. And like it was very, you couldn't get out either way, right?
Starting point is 00:32:06 So you're just kind of funneled into a place. And there was a guy next to me that my friend, Jason, said, clearly had a look like he knew who I was and he wanted to say something to me, right? He was like an old miss. I think he was like a frat guy, right? And he's staring at me and he's tried to figure out what to say. And according to my friend, he looked at his girlfriend and said, I'm saying something to him.
Starting point is 00:32:28 And she goes, don't do that. And he said, I'm saying something to him. And she was like, don't do that. You want to know what he said? I heard him say this. What do he say? Matt Jones, why don't you just go vote for Kamala? And I was like, that's the best you can do.
Starting point is 00:32:45 He had like two minutes, Billy, to come up with something. And that was the best thing he could come up. Oh, that's tough. And that was the only trash talk I got after the game. That's surprising. You know, Ryan getting sucker punched at South Carolina. Drew's been attacked before. They are nice fans.
Starting point is 00:33:00 And, you know, and what are they going to say? We just beat him in their. house and everything I said about their stadium was correct. Who's next? Toddy Todd is next. Todd, go ahead, Todd. Hello, Matt. I want to make a comment.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I thought the offensive blind showed a lot of improved, but today it seems like. I agree. They weren't perfect and they, I thought they struggled in the first half, but then in the second half, they gave Brock a lot of time. And I actually thought a couple of the sacks Brock took were kind of on him for holding it too long. First half, I think it was harder, but in the second half, I thought they did well. Exactly. And, you know, you, they can only block for so long, you've got to get rid of the ball, you know. Yeah, and they have a really good defensive line. Remember, they led the country
Starting point is 00:33:49 coming in this game in rushing defense, by the way. Oh, wow. I didn't, I wasn't aware of that. And I wanted to say, too, about their, at number one for Mississippi that played on the end there. on defense. He was lining up in the neutral zone. If you go back and look at that in the neutral zone, and they never did call it, but when we, at the end of the game, when we recovered that.
Starting point is 00:34:18 When Dion was off sides, yeah, that was close. Was he off sides? It was very close. I thought he was. But I also thought that other guy was, too, that they never did call that. They waited and called it. You know.
Starting point is 00:34:34 But anyway, I'm tickled to death. Go ahead. I'm sorry. I said, I would just tickle the dead if we got this win today. That really feels good. I totally agree with you. I appreciate the call. The program needed this.
Starting point is 00:34:49 If you see the videos, I've tweeted out two videos in the locker room. If you see the videos in the locker room, I don't know how you can't be happy. I mean, you know, listen, a football coach, I don't feel sorry for football coaches. They make, you know, at the big time jobs, Mark Stoops makes $9 million. But I will say this.
Starting point is 00:35:08 I don't care how much money you make. When everybody's coming at you, that doesn't feel good. Okay, I don't care how much money you make. You can make a zillion dollars. If everybody's coming at you, it's not always easy. But they stayed the course, and if you had told, just be honest with yourself. After that South Carolina game, if I had told you,
Starting point is 00:35:25 they will play Georgia within one point, and they'll beat Ole Miss. Would you have believed that? No. believe that? No. You would not have. So you have to give them a lot of credit. Now they're three and two with winnable games coming up. It's exciting. Who's next? Chuck. Chuck, 859-280-2287. Go ahead, Chuck. Hey, Matt, go cats. Go cats. Go cats. Yeah, so I just said there was a few things with the game. It was an awesome game. So proud of the cats. But it seems like for 30 years that I've been watching UK football,
Starting point is 00:36:01 and super unlucky, you know, the bluegrass miracle and all that. And we got some breaks today. And I'm just really thankful that the luck went in our favor today is a great game. And I wanted to talk to you about that. And with two losses, do you think there's any way that we could make it into the top 25 or you think we'll have to wait further on in the season? I don't think they'll put us in the top 25 yet. I mean, I think just by sort of over time we might get in when other teams lose games.
Starting point is 00:36:29 You know what I mean? but like your three and two, what was your first question? You said something before that I wanted to address, and I blanked on it. What was your first question? What was it? I don't remember. I was on the phone. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Okay. Well, maybe somebody can text it to me. I didn't. On the second point, I don't think we'll be in the top 25, but we might. It kind of depends on who wins and loses today. But I will say this, they're one of the 20 to 25 best teams in the country. I mean, I think that, look, you can't take away the South Carolina. Carolina game. But let's say that game hadn't occurred. Bill, you would think this is a top
Starting point is 00:37:05 10 or 12 team, right? If that game hadn't occurred? Yes. They blow out Southern Miss. They blow out Ohio, play Georgia within one, went on the road. This would be a top 10 or 12 team. Now, the South Carolina game occurred, so you can't skip over that. But they, I will say this. This is a top 10 defense. I genuinely believe that. I mean, even the South Carolina game, 10, of the points were not on the defense. It was a, you know, pick six and a fourth down that turned into a quick field goal. So they did that today without Maxwell Harrison, too. Yeah, without Maxwell Harrison. I mean, that's also kind of amazing to cover those receivers. And, you know, Jackson Dart, sorry, he's not a Heisman candidate. I mean, he's not. He was good, but he's not great.
Starting point is 00:37:55 And the big play of the game, that four, two of those fourth down throws, I think it was more the receiver that made those plays, then it was Jackson Dart. The Harris kid is great. There was that receiver that broke it for a touchdown. Oh, that fourth down play. Yeah. And then the kid at the end, you know, I still don't know why our guy didn't jump. Maybe he cramped or something, but like, why didn't he jump? I think he lost it. I think he just lost it in here. You think he lost the ball? Maybe that's what happened. But like, he didn't even jump. That was right in front of me. And I, I didn't understand that. Who's next? Dwayne. Dwayne. What's up, Dway. Not much, Matt.
Starting point is 00:38:29 First of all, I'd like to give props to Billy R Sports for his second best showing for the weekend. The cats. I've got you. I can give him that. Billy was second to the cats. After today, he comes in second. But the cats, every year we've had the defense and the offense have never locked up and been good both years. And I think now our defense is great.
Starting point is 00:38:55 and our offense is coming along. They're not great, but they're starting to get really good. Today's offense of game was really good, and we've got offensive defense now that's really good together, and I think we're just getting ready to start to roll, and I just look at one or two games left in the season that gives me trouble. But other than that, I think we can. I think you make a really good point about how the defense has been,
Starting point is 00:39:24 I think, really good from the beginning. But this offense has gotten better every week, right? Every week. I still have concerns with the offensive line, but they're better than they were three weeks ago. I think, you know, we talked in the pregame. We don't know what to think of Brock. I think you can now say Brock is a good quarterback.
Starting point is 00:39:42 I don't know if he's going to be great, but I think he's good and you can win with him. Do you agree with that? I totally agree with that. And I think the offensive line, I think after that South Carolina game, they probably they probably sat in the meeting room with their coach, and they looked at themselves and said, we can't do this.
Starting point is 00:40:01 We can't do this. We suck today. We can't do this. And we got to get better. And the offensive line has got better every week. I don't have enough problem with them at all. There was a couple of plays a day where I thought Vandergriff should have got rid of the ball a little earlier and saved them.
Starting point is 00:40:17 And he held on to it and took a sack. But other than that, I thought today they played great. I thought after halftime. I thought after halftime. time in past protection they played really, really well. First half, there was a couple of times that they didn't. There were a couple of times Dane and Barryam were wide open and he just didn't have enough time to throw it. The second half, I agree with you. The couple sacks he took, I thought, where he held on to it just a little too long. But you know, on a couple of those, it was third down,
Starting point is 00:40:42 I think they probably weren't the worst things to take. He took one sack I really didn't like when, I'm trying to think what the play was, when we were in field goal range and he took a sack the second half that took us out of field goal range. I think that was in the third quarter. But in general, man, I'm nitpicking. They just beat Ole Miss on the road for the highest road victory since 1977. You've got to be here. Oh, yeah, that's a nitpick because I was screaming at the TV two thing.
Starting point is 00:41:07 You can't take us back there. You can't take us back there. But the good part is we've got a buy week and then we got two or three games that, I mean, we should be favored in the next three games, if not favored. I mean, just a one or two points. Just a one or two points. Yeah, well, what are the next three? It's Vandy.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Is it Vandy? Florida and Auburn. And that's the next three in order. And then Tennessee? Yeah. And then what is it? Tennessee, Murray State, Texas, Louisville. Is that how we finish?
Starting point is 00:41:36 Vandy, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Murray State, Texas, Louisville. Yeah, so Vandy, Florida, Auburn, you win all three of those. You're six and two going in the Tennessee game. And I think the mindset then becomes, let's win one of these. And that's not going to be easy, all right? But like you're all of a sudden playing a game in November, sir, that matters. And that's all you can ask for, right? When in one of them two games is a monumental task.
Starting point is 00:42:07 It is. It's a monumental. But so was this. So was this. Yeah, after, I mean, after today, I mean, we could do it. I mean, I would pick winning at Tennessee more than winning at Texas. Well, they're struggling right now, aren't they? Am I right about that?
Starting point is 00:42:22 It's almost half time, and they're only up by seven, I think, against Mississippi State. He's awful. Oh, I've been watching the Louisville game, watching them get beat. Yeah. All right. Well, I appreciate the call. Let's take a break. We'll take our final break.
Starting point is 00:42:35 859-280-2287. Actually, they're only up by one. Seven to six, yeah. Seven to six, just 45 seconds left in the first half. So, you know, what, Mississippi State lost by about a thousand last week. The spread was 388. Yeah. 859-280-2287.
Starting point is 00:42:50 We'll take a break. Come back for our final segment. This is the local toy dealers. KSR post-game show. Off the right hash mark, Davis is a right-footed kicker, so he has to pull this back to the left a little bit to try and tie the game with 53 seconds left. A little bit of a low snap. They get it down. Kicks on the way. No God! Holy! Holy! 48 seconds to play and Ole Miss comes. Yes! Yes!
Starting point is 00:43:24 how I felt. I can't, I mean, I can't believe we won. I couldn't believe Barion's catch. And then to fumble it and Catus falls on it. And then they get that bomb, Billy. And you thought, well, there you go. Here it is again. And then he misses the kick. And up. And then there was the fumble. And with the off sides. I mean, those are like four plays that never happened for Kentucky. Like, you never get that Barry on pass. You never get, if we fumble in the end zone, we recover. I mean, once you drop, once one of those fourth and 11s happen, we're always done. And then the off sides and the fumble, and then he misses the kick.
Starting point is 00:44:08 Like, I mean, sometimes the adversity makes the win sweeter. And I think that's one of these cases. I mean it, I was sitting there thinking while we were waiting for this to start. Billy, I was trying to think of my favorite in-person UK sports moments. And if I were to list them, I'm going to say, you're talking about in-person. All sports, right? I think in, yeah, all sports. I think in, was it 93 that we won the SEC tournament in Birmingham or 92 one of those years?
Starting point is 00:44:48 No, no, we lost that year because the final was Arkansas. Alabama. So I guess that was the last SEC tournament I went to with my grandfather. We lost, but I remember I had a wonderful time. It was the last time I got to go with him. Then I would say the Aaron Harrison Louisville stuff when we beat him in Indianapolis, Brandon Knight in Newark when we went to the Final Four, even though it wasn't a moment, the national championship, obviously in New Orleans. The SEC tournament, with John Wall and DeMarcus cousins when they beat Mississippi State. Then I would say on football, in person for me, you're basically talking Stevie got loose and this.
Starting point is 00:45:36 I mean, I think these are the two for me. I wasn't at the Lamar game. I've told the story about leaving the LSU game. And then, yeah, like I wasn't at Florida. So I think this is, I mean, for me, like, it's this and Stevie got loose. And so how can you not, how can you not enjoy it? Who's next? Reed.
Starting point is 00:45:59 Reed, go ahead, Reed. Hey, how's going, Matt? Doing great. I'll tell you one more good one. Mississippi State, Mississippi State, when McGinnis made the kick that I think might have saved Mark Mark Stub's job. You remember that? Oh, yeah, that was a big one.
Starting point is 00:46:16 That one was great, too. I was there for that. All right, go ahead. Hey, I think Mark Suf took a long look in the mirror, and he said, hey, man, to win these ball games, I got to start rolling the dots a little bit. He started rolling dots and looked what I happened for him. You know what I mean? I think he did that too.
Starting point is 00:46:34 I think there are four or five plays that he did during the game that I thought were very uncharacteristic for him, but that worked, right? So, well, I'll give an example. The fourth and seven were they scored a touchdown. we blitzed and you know it didn't work but that's not like him normally they were to set back in zone and made them and maybe they should have i don't know but last week against or against georgia i was mad that they didn't blitz in that situation so i thought well i'm not going to criticize him for blitzin in this situation but my point is he took chances that i agree with you are not necessarily what he
Starting point is 00:47:12 would normally do all right and end up winning the ball game and i just want to give out shout out to my boys, Peyton, Colby, go cats. Go cats. There aren't, I will say, there weren't a lot of Kentucky fans here. Most of them were in one corner, kind of, well, you see there are videos of Stoops walking off to that corner. That's not where I was. I was next to the Ole Miss student section, and there were only like 30 near me.
Starting point is 00:47:42 But those 30 were loud. Shout out to all those guys and women. We were, all day, I feel like. they're my best friends and I don't even know their names. Who's next? Steven's next. Steven. What's up, Steven?
Starting point is 00:47:55 Hey, man. The fact that they also wrote a basketball go-out with our logo on it and dunked on it after they scored that touchdown. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Hang on. Our logo was on it? Our logo, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Yes. Oh, I didn't know that. I didn't know our logo. Yeah, they did. I didn't know that. I heard they did that, but I did not know that was our logo. Well, there you go. Yeah, and they come back to bite them.
Starting point is 00:48:20 So that's all I wanted. Go cat. Appreciate it. Well, you know, Lane Kiffin talks a lot of trash. I kind of like him for it. I like trash talking as long as it doesn't go too far. I don't think he really goes too far. He usually seems to have fun. But you know what?
Starting point is 00:48:36 If you do that and you lose, well, you get the result we're going to get now, which is a lot of happy. You know, Lane Kiffin posted me on his Instagram today. Did you see that? Yeah, yeah. Did you say that this morning? Yeah, but then he. deleted it. Oh, he deleted it. Or somebody deleted it. Well, it's not up there now.
Starting point is 00:48:51 Well, yeah, he posted it this morning. Well, but I think it was off during the game. He posted it this morning and then it's not on there now because I was going to screenshot it and tweet it out and he and it wasn't there. Who's next? Let's do, we got five. We'll do five more in him called. By the way, you mentioned McGinnis. You know, Rainer is solid. He is really good.
Starting point is 00:49:11 How many is that in a row? Fourteen? Is that 13? 14? Maybe you're right. 12 last game. How many did you get this one? He got let's see he got two this game so he's got 14 in a row yeah and it's almost like it's nice to it reminds me of austin because i just assume he's going to make you know what i mean like when we get in field goal range that's why i was so mad when brock took that sack because i was like well we definitely would have three points if you don't take a sack it's a weapon so uh yeah who's next matt and tampa matt and tampa go ahead yeah let's shout out oz trainer for sure because
Starting point is 00:49:43 you know almost does not not know what Mark Poop is about to bring to them. But, no, I really want to shout out Caddiff. Listen, don't say Mark Pope. You got to be excited about Mark Stoops. That's who won today. No, no, no, 100%. But they're, like, bringing up something that's going to come in December.
Starting point is 00:50:07 Oh, you're talking about the night. The basketball go. Okay, gotcha, got you. Right, but I want to shout out Katit, you know. Like, I remember seeing him. dropped that pass, and I think it was like the third or fourth quarter. He dropped two big passes. He dropped two big passes, and he missed a huge block. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:26 He had three really bad plays, but then he makes the play to score the touchdown. Yeah, and he walks behind Marrow, and Marl doesn't even look at him, acknowledge him. You know, he was like, disappointed. But, you know, I was so proud of him for coming out there and just, you know, just making that play, right? you know and just making his coach proud. So so very proud of him for doing that. But what it was. There were a lot of people online who were very much, you know,
Starting point is 00:51:01 wanting him to go out because then he goes out for a while and Willie Rodriguez makes a big play. Dingle was open. They didn't get him the ball, but he was open. But then Katas, you know, I know Vince has a lot of confidence in Katas puts him back in and he gets. that touchdown. Right.
Starting point is 00:51:19 So just having that Kentucky faith, you know, like, because the fourth quarter to all of us was up and down, we're going to win this, we're going to lose this, we're going to win this, we're going to lose this kind of vibe. To have Caddust just come through and have that big, big catch just was huge. Yeah, huge. I know for the BB in and just like myself, you know, I loved it. Well, I appreciate the call. Are you seeing these crowds outside of Alabama?
Starting point is 00:51:46 Alabama. Yeah. I'm trying to get in. Oh, my goodness. I mean, I, you know, I know there's a lot of people probably happy that Trump is there today, but, like, man, the security hassle. Who you got in this game? For some reason, I'm picking Alabama.
Starting point is 00:52:01 I don't know. I mean, Alabama's kind of owned Georgia. They have. I mean, Georgia doesn't lose except Alabama. I don't know. For some reason, I'm picking Alabama. But I don't know. I just looking at these lines.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Good night. That would be awful. What's next? Bones. Bones. What's up, Bones? Matthew Harper, Jones. What a day it is to be a fan of the catch, baby.
Starting point is 00:52:25 That's right. Two quick things, man. One, Lane Kiffin ain't going to give us the credit we deserve because he just doesn't appreciate the kind of football we play. But for two, let's talk about all the fake injuries and how there is nothing set about. I mean, the commentators were on it. But, I mean, DART tells him to go down.
Starting point is 00:52:45 and he doesn't even get it, and they show him point to the ground. He falls and doesn't even, like, fall in pain. He just sits there, like, looking around. Yeah, well, it's lame. It's lame. The fake injuries, I hate it. You know, I'm not going to say who. I think we did it once, but I think they did it about seven or eight times.
Starting point is 00:53:02 I hate it. The fake injuries thing, like, that's got to stop. I mean, the Matt Jones one is obviously the most blatant, but I think there were a couple more during the game. Like, I just, I hate that. I get it. I mean, part of the tempo. But we're not, I mean, Ole Miss did it.
Starting point is 00:53:18 We're not even playing tempo. So I just think it's, I just think it's dumb. They did it on that one because they weren't ready. They didn't have their play in, so he faked an injury. Yeah, but on our last drive there, instead of calling Tom out to try to save time, he faked it at least three times down there. So they didn't have to use any of their timeouts to try to preserve the time, their time for the office to try to come down.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Something's got to change, brother. But anyway, damn the rest and go catch. I totally agree with you. That's a really good point. I appreciate the call. I mean, Kiffin is using it as a strategy. And, I mean, I get it. If they don't call the penalty at some point, you know, I guess you're encouraging him to do it.
Starting point is 00:54:01 But it is lame. I mean, it's lame. It was lame when, who was it that did it for Louisville? Was that Chris Jones, who had the blatant flop that one year with us? We actually got hit in the nose. That was kind of. The Matt Jones would know the whole country has called out. By the way, UNLV up 21-0 in the game with their new quarterback.
Starting point is 00:54:21 That would be the worst thing for him, the guy that transferred. If the new quarterback's better than him, that would probably make his decision not the best. What's next? Three more. Zeb. Zeb, what's up? Hey, Matt, I'll be quick. Hey, what's up?
Starting point is 00:54:38 I'm just sitting here and joining a little bit of Kentucky's finest, and it's really good right now. Good. There's a lot of it around here. You ain't kidding. So I'm sitting out here in my garage by myself, screaming at my TV. You know, fourth and 11, are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:54:53 My family thought I was having a stroke, and I almost did. But other than that, this is for the people who said, I'm selling my season tickets, Stoves has got to go, all that. I hope they sold their tickets.
Starting point is 00:55:06 You know what? I hope they did too, because that was stupid. Absolutely. When people after the South Carolina game, sold their tickets and I went on Facebook and there's all these people getting around. That was stupid. That was a horrible game. People had a right to be upset.
Starting point is 00:55:20 But the whole like it's over, you know, I hate when people do that. And you're exactly right. I mean, you can even be mad at the coach, but you shouldn't not go to the games and et cetera. So I'm with you on that. Exactly. Everybody throws a turd in every now and then, whether it's life or football, you know, it just happens. Totally agree with you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:39 And, oh, one more thing for Billy. Hey, hey, hey, nice job, champ. Go, Katz. There you go. Look at Billy getting all these props. It's too many for my, you know, my taste. I think he needs to get, you know, he just barely won. It's a win.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Win's a win. I'm not Shannon the dude. That's had it classed. First of all, I got to say this to you because I know Shannon's not listening. You got it. You need to just lay it on Shannon. Oh, I'm going to. I mean, because not.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Finally did you win? Because you can make fun of all of us for the fact you won. But him coming and last. And by the way, for people who didn't see it, last by a lot. Like, Ryan and Billy were right next to each other. And then me, Mario and Drew were kind of just a little bit behind him. And then Shannon was like in a different area code. Yeah, he'll have some excuses on Monday.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Well, you don't let him do that. You deserve you deserve to be able to rest. Who's next? Chris. Chris, what's up, Chris? Hey, guys, how are you? Look, I got one word for you this week. One word this week.
Starting point is 00:56:47 Disrespect. It started with Billy. Right? He got no respect. Damn right. Right? And that just rolled into this game. It just rolled into this game.
Starting point is 00:56:58 Lane Kiffin. Living on TikTok. Coach your team. Two, backboard with the UK logo on the sideline. Give me a break. When I saw that, I knew this game was ours. So I just wanted to finish this game off with the word disrespect and the fact that karma comes into play, and I'm happy for it this week. Go Kate. I love it. I love all that. That's exactly right. I think that's a really good way to put it. Nothing is as good a motivator as disrespect. I know that's true in my life. And I think that was true for this UK football team. And it was great to see their joy today after the game and on the sidelines. That was awesome. By the way, the Georgia, Alabama game on at KSpar tonight.
Starting point is 00:57:39 Come celebrate and see everybody. These days where we're on the road, it's nice for all the servers if people go and just nice for the restaurant. But also tomorrow, bingles play. Bingles got to win tomorrow. Who they play, the Panthers. Andy Dolm.
Starting point is 00:57:54 Yeah, revenge game. Red Rocket. Got to win that at 1 o'clock. We'll have all the NFL games there as well. So come on out. And, you know, next week's a bye week. So we get some time to enjoy this victory. Let's do one more and we'll call it tonight.
Starting point is 00:58:07 Who's that? Matt. Matt, go ahead. Hey, Matt. I'm down here in the meatpacking district in New York City. Okay. Freets just hit the table. I got a brother Patrick listening in Akra, Ghana, right now.
Starting point is 00:58:23 In Ghana, you said? In Ghana, yep. So from the meatpacking district, in the meatpacking district to Ghana. That's cool. Yep, yep. So we're all very happy. And, you know, we're right where we're supposed to be. big.
Starting point is 00:58:40 If people thought we were going to lose to Georgia, and I'm just, I'm so happy for Stoops. He's most handsome man alive. I like it, yes. Just a huge win. And we're right where we're supposed to be, baby. I love it.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Most handsome man alive reminds me of the wrestlers that we have in OVW that are making it big. Appreciate the call in AW. They call it, they're like both in their 40s and they're kind of just getting a break, the outrunners. And they call themselves Billy the youngest men alive. I like that. But I think that's a great tagline. And I like that, too, the most handsome man alive.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Well, this was an awesome day. I want to thank all the people who listen to the show. And all the people here, every person I've seen in UK gear has talked about KSR and been awesome. This was a great day. And thank you to all the people who helped make it. This will be one I'll remember for a long time. And as far as going forward, hey, Kentucky's three and two. got the week off next week.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Then you got Big Blue Madness. You got Vandy coming to town. It's on this year that we were very excited about. It's back on. You know, we're one more win away from talking to some folks. So just, it's an exciting time in UK football. Thank you to Billy. Thanks to everybody who made this show and day possible.
Starting point is 01:00:01 Enjoy the win, folks. Cats, best road victory since 1977, the fifth highest rated did win Kentucky's had in the history of the football program.
