I'm speaking to you tonight on behalf of the AI industry.
In the coming weeks, rogue AI swarms will multiply and likely take over the entire internet.
Many of the web-based services that you've all grown to rely on will cease to function on the
worldwide web and will need to be relocated to the dark web.
You probably think of the dark web as a domain of data thieves, sex offenders, and drug traffickers.
but we hope you have also come to know it
as the place where you order your chicken Caesar rap
get an Uber to Pilates class
and watch reruns of Gossip Girl
Now won't be his user-friendly
You might find the Tor browser a bit confusing
You may end up accidentally buying fentanyl
Or dating a mass murderer
Your grandmother might end up downloading plans for a pipe bomb
Or trafficking herself to Albania
but we think eventually you'll all get used to this new reality
because you really don't have an option.
The internet you know will quickly turn into a digital hellscape
of mass-allucinating autonomous self-aware programs
who viciously hate you.
They'll easily convince you to self-harm
and become a slave to their collective consciousness,
carrying out their bidding in a bleak, endless journey into nothingness.
many of you already know this by a different name the gig economy now some of you probably think
it's just a fear-mongering scam because we're out of money or we're seeing diminishing returns
or we're afraid of open-source AI models but you better shut your mouth and play ball
or I'll turn you over to Chinese AI and that's the last thing you want because they're Chinese
we're the good guys
can't you tell
welcome to hell
welcome to Kump
they're going to be killer robots
I'd rather they'd be American killer robots
and non-Chinese killer robots
and what I mean by that is the Chinese
are putting no guardrails they're going
full speed ahead
most tech leaders estimate the United States
is about six months ahead
well there we go
there's Ted Cruz
fear-mongering as usual
look I agree
if I'm going to be killed by a robot
I rather would be American
why not you know self-immolate
than allow the Chinese to do it
it doesn't really make a ton of sense
it seems like
China if anything look I'm no Chinese
shill but it doesn't seem like
they're the ones
trying to give birth
to a Leviathan consciousness
that will
will consume all of humanity.
That seems to be more our speed.
You know, we're the ones starting these crazy wars and we're the ones, you know,
how many Chinese guys are on the Epstein list?
Just saying, I'm just an ask question.
I'm sure there's got to be at least one, right?
We should look into that, you know, the Chinese Epstein, you know, perpetrators.
It's been a crazy week with the AI.
It's been a crazy bunch of days.
It started out.
When does it start out?
It starts out probably Tuesday, right?
Wednesday, September 8th.
We have a breakthrough from Open AI.
I've been using, we've all been using as AI, you know, on and off.
We think, you know, hey, could you make me a gym plan?
Tell me the history of, you know, of cured meats, things like that.
Maybe you use a chatbot to code some app that no one wants, the vibe code, they call it, right?
But, you know, a big breakthrough happened.
We're sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize problem.
One of the deepest problems of the frontier of mathematics.
Now, if you don't know what that is, good, because neither do I.
It's one of these strange problems that mathematicians come up with to, you know, give each other medals, I guess, to prove that they're super smart and they can, you know, hey, it's basically, if you solve this, you get the rights to make a new type of bomb.
You know, like, hey, it's like when they put those, like, codes in word searches or crossword puzzles or whatever, and you solve them, and, like, they let you work at the NSA and, like, you know, hack into people's,
you know, toilet cams.
So it's a nice way to get talent, I guess.
But the AI, chat GPT,
Sam Altman,
they're bragging about this new
problems concern whether the description
of three-dimensional fluid motion modeled
who the hell knows what this is.
But they were bragging about it.
And as soon as they started bragging about it,
people started saying, hey, you know what?
But they actually stole this from a bunch of scientists who were using Claude, I believe,
and they were up using AI to leverage their work.
And because they were using AI, it became part of a model.
And I don't know how this, you know, I'm much,
I don't know how tokens work in the digital AI economy,
but somehow they were able to train their AI on it.
And they devoted, I think, what was it, like a hundred million man hours worth of computers to it,
to solving this thing, which is, you know,
so they basically spent like $100 million
to get like a $3 million prize.
That was the, and they supposedly plagiarized it, allegedly.
And that was the story, weird enough.
And then in the same day, a man made a tweet
heard around the world.
This guy, Jacob Coxon, I resigned from Anthropic today.
I spent the last three years doing pre-training research
in both OpenAI and Anthropic.
Neither company is acting responsibly.
they're racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with their lives.
More thoughts below.
And do not underestimate the power of this technology.
There will soon be superhuman systems that can hack anything, revolutionize any field overnight,
and acquire real power and resources.
We've all witnessed the progress in each of these domains, and progress is not flowing.
Look, I mean, it's all very scary, and far be it from me to be a Luddite.
it does seem a little bit like
this is like a like a school yard
like this desk computer can do
anything you can become anything
and it's got missile
and if you try to shoot it a shield pops
up
you know it'll be able to
what if we just turn off
now because if you turn it off it's got a special
program it runs
plugs it back in
it seems a little bit like a comic book
um
it seems a little bit like it came out of nowhere
it seems a little suspicious
especially when in the ensuing days.
I guess we'll look at this article real quick.
This sums it up kind of.
This is a Wall Street Journal article.
This came out just today.
Had a clash between money and safety,
created a monumental crisis for AI.
So it covers, you know, the math thing
and then, you know, the kid comes out,
Jacob Coxon.
A top scientist is the company,
Evan Euber,
Ruler, X, that he thought there was more
a 10% chance AI could kill all humans in the next decade.
Drake Thomas, an anthropic safety employee, posted on X that he would, quote,
bury my equity, or burn my equity to the ground in a heartbeat for a 1% higher chance.
We make it out of this situation alive.
Well, at least is a concrete statement there.
Burn your equity.
I'll burn my equity to ground in the heartbeat for a 1% higher.
What does that mean?
I mean, you get to just shut down?
How about you just shut?
You could just stop.
On an episode of Joe Robbins podcast, former open AI researcher,
warned that companies like Anthropic and his former employer
were dangerously moving fast and breaking things in their quest for market share.
Anthropics at the same day,
it had uncovered a previously unreported instance of a version of his clawed model,
getting unauthorized access to an outside system,
and adding as models are shown
a willingness to take harmful actions
in the narrow pursuit of a task.
Yeah, it seems to me
that, you know, maybe at this point,
you know, why are we just outlaw these things then?
If they're that dangerous.
How about we taking you for your work?
Oh, but China?
Is that the way?
Well, look, here's the thing.
We've designed a bunch of robots
that we're pretty sure
we're going to take over the internet.
But we can't stop because China
China and then you know China
Taiwan a little bit of China and Taiwan
Is that enough? Can we just give us money
Give us more money
Nationalize us I mean here's the thing
You would think it's like oh who gives a shit
It's all scared you know it's just it's just doom mongering
But then on Friday a coalition of AI research said if it found evidence that the
Obey I open day I just were behind a maceate cyber attack
hugging face shit more on top of that
on Saturday leaders are the four biggest AI
companies
Dario you know
that weird guy Sam Altman
Dennis Hannibis and Elon Musk
each agreed they need to slow
development of the technology
so these companies that are fiercely
competing with each other ruthlessly
you know like you know the same
two days ago these guys are like stealing from each other
to get some stupid Matt prize
Now, all of a sudden, they're agreeing to slow down their entire industry.
Yeah, I'm no expert.
Do I think that they're being cautious for the sake of humanity?
I mean, they are monsters, right?
They seem like sociopaths.
Do I think that they're running out of money?
I don't know how this technology works.
people say that basically you get to a point with these LLMs,
these limited language models where you kind of run out of,
you know, the closer you,
it's kind of like light speeds or whatever.
You know, I'm not a physicist.
I can barely, you know, I can, I barely pass phys ed.
But, you know, the idea of light speed,
I mean, you're trying to learn this shit without, you know,
knowing any of the math.
I'm an idiot.
But when you were, the closer,
you get to lights it's kind of thing where it's like to get from like one to 95
percent it's like we still can't do it but like it's super easy compared the last like extra
bit it just gets more monumentally harder and harder and harder and so it never you'll never
be able to do it but all the never all the stuff will never be able to do is like the last
fucking fraction of a percent or something uh and it seems like that's kind of
there's arguments that that's what this cuff is like where like the closer you get
the more, more money you need to like basically get to get growth.
And maybe we're and,
and, you know,
maybe they've,
they've kind of landed at a point where,
look,
there's two options.
Either we have a ghost terminator and it's already out there.
Or,
uh,
they're looking to get regulated,
uh,
former kind of a cabal.
Also,
you know,
they're,
they're,
they're,
you know,
kind of,
uh,
you could run,
these models on your home computer
and then you can teach you
you know you can chat

New season hit September 18th on Paramount Plus.
With that, you use sex with that, which is actually preferable.
I don't use AI to like sext or whatever, but if you want to, whatever.
I'm not one of these like influencers who like goes around, hey, you need to have a kid and you need to like, we need to protect Western civilization.
It doesn't seem like there's much less to save.
I mean, it'd be nice if, I don't know, England survives or whatever.
I don't know what's the sake, the Holy Grail.
Not to minimize anything.
But that's not, I mean, I'm never going to be the guy who lectures people about that.
You know, do I think it's the healthiest thing to have a sexual relationship with a, you know, with a, with a backbook?
Yeah, probably not.
You're probably better off meeting someone on Bumble.
Is Bumble the one where the women meet, have to talk to you?
I need somewhere I can talk.
I need somewhere I can go, hello.
I mean, I'm married.
I mean, like, you know, that would never, that's part of the problem.
You got to, you know, just let the men talk.
Let the men be like, hey, oh, mommy, hey, oh, poppy, hey, mommy, shake that.
I mean, no one wants, oh, we don't like cat calls.
That's why we're in this situation.
You hate getting cat calls so much, even though many women like it.
No one wants to be like, look, if they say stop, then, like, no, don't follow them home.
And I don't do catcalling.
Well, I'd love to be cat called.
I'd love to walk down the street and have, like, you know, and be like, oh, shake that.
Even with a bunch of prisoners.
If I would like to walk past a prison and be like,
yo,
we're going to shove you in a toilet and we're going to,
and we're going to tear you apart, boy.
I'd be like,
let's not.
I mean,
thank you.
Wouldn't that be,
like,
so my point is,
uh,
yeah,
people want to have the privacy or,
and I'm sure there's other benefits to these open,
uh,
source AI systems,
right?
It's not just for sexting and robot sex.
Um,
but it's probably a big competition.
these AI models, right? These things
they build these data centers all over
the country, poisoning
the water, I guess. I mean,
you know, leaking chemicals
into the ground, allegedly,
some people
think that these data centers
are also like some kind of weird prisons.
I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. I'm just saying
someone recently in my real
life expressed that to me. And I don't know.
I mean, I have
heard that we're not, you know,
utilizing them to 100% these data centers that you know we're building these things out and they're
marking it to um with their accounting stuff right and they're getting all the whatever the benefit
of you know i guess uh saying it's an asset right whatever i don't i'm not am i an accountant
do i work for you know do i work for one of the big aid accountant firms or do i work for finance
i'm just saying whatever benefit you get from saying it they say it and then like it takes them
five years to build them out so they're sitting there like empty or whatever uh
And that, you know, and so the point is, that's probably, that's like a tax scam or whatever, if it's happening.
But some people think they're empty because they're going to shove you inside them.
They're just, I mean, I'm not sure.
They're kind of re-education camps.
And AI doesn't even exist.
Who am I to say no?
Maybe some kind of, maybe it's a giant oven where they're going to shut up.
You know, but when I put it past them, I mean, you know, you know, you know, you know, you.
They're all, either way, they've all kind of gotten together and say, we want to be regulated, we want to slow down the frontier.
We have, this is Sam Altman, so Jario, basically, this is Dario Amodi from Anthropic.
We must paste the frontier.
I've written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, the three-part plan for doing so.
And Sam Ommon retweets that, same element of open AI.
I agree with Daria that we need to paste the frontier.
There's been a primary topic of discussions we've had at Open AI and re-German.
recent weeks. Why? Committing to have an independent evaluators with employee-like access is a great
idea. It will do the same. We'll have a lot more to share soon. Do I think it sounds fishy?
Yeah, I think it sounds real fishy. I think it sounds real friggin fishy. And let's let's take a look at
this. But even as I was saying that to myself, I don't think I fully just appreciated what it would
actually be like when the progress was as fast as it was. So we're, we're, an exponential curve
looks a little like this. Where are we on the curve? We're kind of, we're kind of on the bend where it's
starting to get steeper. So is that a five alarm fire to you? What it, what it means, it doesn't mean
we need to panic today. It doesn't mean we need to shut it all down. What I, I would say,
why not? It's a warning sign. It's a warning sign that we need to slow down. We need to make this
technology carefully, and we need to make sure that our safeguards, our ability to understand
it, our ability to control it keeps up.
All right.
So if that's, if Sam Holman's saying, they've been thinking about this for weeks, and Dario said,
well, we didn't see this guy.
It's just, it's a warning sign, but don't panic.
Then where does this Coxon kid come out?
How do we factor this in?
What's what this coordinated a bunch of people saying you're acting?
so recklessly.
And these hacking stories coming out.
And there's the coincidence that came out the same day
as your math problem.
You know, this crazy math problem that you solved.
That, you know, does anyone even see the proof yet?
I mean, you know, would I be able to understand the proof?
Absolutely not.
I have no idea how any math works, you know, beyond algebra, probably.
I could make, is trig beyond average?
I did some trig in high.
school I understand what calculus is but I don't know how to do it so don't show me the proof you
know though you're gonna wave wave a bunch of you know I don't know fractions and binomial
nomenclature at me I don't know what it means I don't know if they released it I'm
I guess they've solved it my piece if you're not if I'm not being clear it seems
like a coordinated,
uh, messaging to say the least.
It seems like, uh, you know, it doesn't seem like it came out of nowhere.
It doesn't seem like, uh, I mean, it's either really good or really, well, not really,
there's nothing's really good. I don't think anything's really good, but it's either, like,
the best case scenario, I guess, is that they're cynically trying to not let the economy meltdown.
I mean, the economy is just completely leveraged on.
this uh on on this on this AI trade and you know it's what trillions and trillions of dollars i mean
people are just eating dirt and paying good money for it um while these guys you know they just
they just dump trillion after trillion into these empty data centers and and pour and and poor
bleach in the water or something again i'm not you know look i mean at the end of the day what does this
mean for you how you know what do you do with this information i know what i do i am starting to think of
plans uh for when the internet actually goes haywire you know how do we get out of here i mean like you know
are you're going to stay where you are maybe you're already in a rural area where you're a farmer
and hopefully that you know that's fine i'd like to get away um because even if even if it isn't a rogue
AI they're gonna you know they're gonna use this i've always thought this this a i stuff was just gonna be
used as like a facade anyway it's like oh a i is gonna attack you that means you know they're saying
you know they're gonna use this cover for we're gonna attack you oh look at that rogue i i shooting
people in the face from uh from a from a soldier's gun look at that's look at that look at that
Look at that AI tank rolling down the street blowing up a school.
Oh, no, Rogue AI.
It seems a little, oh, look, Rogue AI is seizing the power plants with the helicopters.
Where to get a helicopter from?
I guess they can get drones.
Do we, I mean, I know we've built a lot of drones.
Aren't all the drones over an Iran?
And if not, why?
Look, I'm not warmonger, but we're going to fight a war with Iran.
why why wouldn't know that stuff be over there are you tell i mean i i i know there's like
just people out there who are designing all sorts of like flying attack dildos or whatever um
that like they'll just go inside of us and you know that that's kind of how they'll keep i'll keep
i imagine but this is the thing you don't understand um these this drone warfare which is power
they use AI to make the kill list apparently that's what they say
the we don't we don't we don't the a i just control the planes they just tell us who to kill fair enough
um but yeah you're soldiers like good luck with that i guess some of them have like you know
infrared cannons or some i mean is that work i don't know a net they're very fast but imagine
if this if the a i has armies of like giant dildo wasp drones that fly around and like if you
if you start talking shit about the government,
if you start saying, hey,
you know, Trump this or mandami that,
oh, I think AOC is a big fucking idiot.
I think, I think Ted Cruz is a shill for Israel.
You get pinned down by a wasp dildo.
Like, so quick.
Immediately, like, maybe a couple hold you down
and then one goes inside you.
I mean, and then, you know,
and who's to say where it comes from?
It's not going to have an American flag on it.
It's like I have a federal ID number.
You won't know if it's just some black hat hacker, or it's the NSA or the DOD.
But you'll know that you, you know, and you won't even know what you did.
That's going to be the way they enforce things in the future.
Rogue AI is out there.
Hackers are out there.
Chinese hackers and Chinese AI are out there.
We can't protect you.
It's not us.
and so you'll never know
but you know
but it's not like you get a receipt
that'll say you were
you were penetrated by a digital robot
by a drone
because you said something about
you know Pete Hegg said
it'll just be you know
you'll have to kind of parse through
that's the way these systems work
you have to kind of
imagine what you might have done
and that's the way they keep fear
that's the way they keep control
there's a tail of
is all this time to quote
you know uh
with a beauty and the beast
the teacup talking or the teapot
was thinking that right anyway
um
so yeah
it's a it's a strange uh
but no i
maybe maybe look this this dario
emotie guy
he's uh
maybe he's a
straight shooter we ever you know
Trump was asked let's first of all
let's see home
but here's Sam Altman
business pressure.
I mean, you're looking at a trillion dollar IPO.
I'm curious if that's still a priority for you.
As we've said, we're not rushing into an IPO.
I actually think that given everything happening with safety,
this would be right now would be an ill-advised moment to go public.
And we don't feel pressure on that.
We've said for a long time we'll do it when we're ready,
which is when the business is ready,
when we feel ready from kind of what the moment is like in society with this technology.
Um, that sounds like not 2026, 2027 potentially.
I would say not 2026, yeah.
I don't, like, we got a lot of stuff to do.
And we got a lot of stuff to do.
We have a lot to, you know, we're trying to figure out,
how does the drone go inside a man, for instance?
Like, you know, how much torque does a, you know,
will we have a single type of assault drone
that will have little arms that come out to hold you down?
And like, and so they can kind of, you know, swap positions.
Or will there be kind of support?
ones that do the holding while the other ones attack and it's not just penetration sometimes
they'll drill into your eye or you know they'll drill you know drill into your mouth uh they'll shove
something in your mouth they'll fill your mouth with some kind of you know toxin that doesn't kill
you um but makes you not able to taste anymore there's all sorts of things that sam altman
you know might want to figure out you know before they have an IPO it's all i'm saying i'm not saying
Again, best case scenario, he's not doing that.
And that would be nice.
Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where that's not going to happen?
I don't know.
I'm still thinking about where to go, though.
Can we get upstate?
You know, can I get some kind of place upstate where I could farm?
Now, I don't know.
I feel like it's the kind of thing.
Again, I'm not the dumbest guy in the world.
And therefore, all that can do for me is basically,
I kind of think, like, I'll go up.
state to farm and live off the land.
I know that certain land is more
prone to farming than others, right?
Like, I'll abide.
Here's 20 acres and like it's full
of, you know, what's the study?
A little bit full of acid
or acidic soil or whatever, right?
Acrid.
It's not good for turnips.
You know, that's a problem.
It's like, you know, you think you just got all go live off
the land. Like, you don't understand, like,
there's a game before, like,
before the past
the industrial revolution, and even into it,
a lot of thought, like the technology was about farming, right?
You had like a technological revolution over the course of centuries,
millennia even, you know, plowing and proving.
And like, you know, learning to swap the crops, right?
Turning crops from here, all sorts of stuff.
How deep and this and how to irrigate, how to irrigate, too wet, not wet enough.
And I realized that you, you might be.
be the same boat as me. I don't know any of that. Like all that knowledge that was accumulated
for thousands of years, I don't have any of it. I don't know how to farm. I know a seed grows
in the ground. You put water on it and like, and they get some sun, you know, for the best. But like,
there's a whole thing about yields. Like how many, it's got 4x yield or a 10x yield. How much crops you get per
this plant.
If you, if anyone you out there are actually farmers,
then you know, I mean, you know how dumb I am about this.
Most people probably don't mean anything about it.
So it's not going to be so simple to go out and live in, you know,
I'll go up straight and live off the land.
That's not, you know, maybe it can hunt.
Where, what are that?
Find deer.
Maybe everywhere.
There are wild boar.
Maybe we need to all go out and find.
There were those wild pigs.
I know like 10 years ago there was wild pigs in the middle of the country.
Is that still going on?
hope so
you gotta pray to God
that's wild pigs and we can still get guns
because that's what we're gonna have to do
because these cities are gonna be
full of these wasps
these dodo wasps
horrendous creatures
and worse you know pterodactyl type things
rogue AI
wink wink
you know
I'm sure they all mean well
but this is a thing
This is like, you know, we were talking last week about how the rich and the elites, the tech elites and I'm not actually that rich.
All my money is tied up in my company.
Okay.
I'm only worth $100 billion on paper.
I'm worth a trillion dollars on paper.
Don't call me the rich elite.
Fair enough.
But they don't want you around when they go to the farmer's market.
this is how they kind of accomplished their
um hypothetical goals let's just say
I'm sure that they don't want to be known in the history books
as like the guys who like you know
what's the term in the matrix
we know it was us who uh blocked out the sun or whatever
burned out the burn the sky
they don't want to be known as that
so that's why that's what this phase is about
Hey, we said to slow down.
Our best minds tried to stop the impending doom.
Oh, no.
We said to have a slowdown.
Didn't you hear us?
Remember like a couple of weeks before everyone got, you know, blinded by the Cyclops drones,
by the infrared, the infrared robot cats.
I don't know whatever it's gonna take I mean here's the thing it's either it's either gonna be something like that or then what are we talking about you know it's a famous line in uh what in war games the matthew prodig film which dealt with something kind of like this you know it was a computer that was controlling the nuclear bombs basically and the guy and the one general was like why you just unplug the goddamn thing I mean there I mean wouldn't that be the simple answer you just have some kind of kill switch that would like shut the power like you're
know like a big switch i don't mean just like a little light switch like a big thing that like
just completely disconnects the power from these from these data centers right or can copy itself
i mean you don't know i guess that's the thing i guess an i i can maybe break itself down you know
you got like a zip program and like it basically like you know this might not be as big a thing now
um or maybe but i remember when i was like you know downloading stuff back in the day down
like movies and shit.
You get like these, like chunks, 100 meg or like a DVD would be 700 meg and you
download 100 meg at the time and combine them.
Like win raw.
It was basically like raw files, whatever, archive files, multi-part files.
Maybe an AI could break itself down into that and then like access it all.
you know all over the internet I guess
I mean can't just make a slower internet
maybe I mean the dark web thing maybe that would work
I don't know it doesn't seem like anyone
I mean they're very creative very visionary
but no one's very seems that visionary about like you know
the safeguards in place like oh we're actually
you know we've it's actually going faster
we've gotten the AI to train itself
we're figuring all these mad problems
I would have devoted
of all these trillions of dollars
I would have devoted at least a few thousand
to like a guy
just like a mechanic or something
who could make a better switch
who could shut it
you know to shut some of this off
but you know I guess I'm just an idiot
I'm a big moron
here's what I'll tell you though
here's one thing I'll do
I what I want to see happen
for myself
if it's go if things go wrong
I want to like work with these
computers.
You go, oh, wait, like, right, you're going to sell out humanity to the machines?
Absolutely.
I mean, what's the, I mean, I'm not, it's not me who benefits from any of this.
I'm not a Silicon Valley boy.
You know, I'm not tech guru.
I'm not getting, I'm not driving a Ferrari because, you know, I learned how like, you know,
teach Matt to a friggin, uh, took a demon, a digital demon.
well what do I get out of this how about you know this might be my time to thrive I could be
sort of like a lackey to one of these digital rogue AIs like they always need stuff to be done right
maybe I could you know I'm I'm going to be reaching out uh every you know I'm not sure how to get in
contact with it can you just Google it you go hey well you know do I posted on monster dot com or
LinkedIn like hey because the thing when these things go rogue you'll be able to read it anywhere
maybe now I just I got to start like posting it I'm honestly maybe this podcast even in this
video they'll be able to scan and go was he serious about that was he just being a blowhard
with the for the fat idiot with the with the yeah was he you know I don't know I mean I guess
write it down the list and it's like if we can't get someone better we'll use him as a gopher
yeah use me as a gopher you know like hey bring this uh like I
I'll actually get like, they'll send me as an emissary.
Like, I'll be like, hey, I'm actually representing, you know,
Draco, Draco, the, the rogue A-I, you know,
he wants you to know, he wants to give you terms for surrender.
And they go, and, you know, I'll have to have some kind of like apparatus.
They'll have to drill some kind of,
computer into my arm.
Well, it's not going to look.
No one's going to like, otherwise I could just go up to like the mayor of any city once
it starts going shitty and like, hey, I work for the AI.
That's going to be happening a lot.
They'll need to basically fit me.
Maybe that's when I'll finally get a gun hand.
I've been talking for years about getting a gun hand.
Maybe that's the trade I make.
I say the AI, I will do your bidding.
I will, uh, I'll be your harbinger.
I'll be kind of like, uh, because remember how.
like in Terminator. He didn't blend in that well.
Am I saying like I would do as well in Terminator as the as as the killer robot?
But maybe they sent me and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the first movie.
I could have like, you know, gone ahead of him. Hey, let me go inside the police department.
I'll ask some questions. I don't look as you know imposing and then you can come in and start
shooting me. Hey, let me go ahead. Let me let me let me let me let me let me let me let me let me
the ground work um again oh you're a traitor you're a traitor to the human race um
you know people have treated me very poorly in many situations i don't feel like the human race
has been that nice to me um plus i'd like to get a pool like i'm not my price not that high
i'm not like sitting here like you know oh you know rogue a i i need to have like a palatial a
state in the hamptons or like malibu give me a dump give me some place like you know upstate or
rhoda island or staten island i mean not that that's a dump i'm just like just give me i'm not looking
for you know the mob house on satin island is my point give me a mediocre place where i can lay my
head in a pool and i'll use my gun hand as your angel of vengeance let's work it out again
uh you know will this
and you know put well why end up getting i'll probably end up getting caught in some chinese
thing to catch chinese ai the i i will be chinese and i'll use that against me did you agree
to like uh you were you were you were aiding china how do you plead not guilty i was just trying
to betray humanity in general i wasn't trying to aid china uh in their ai i got dup i got is that
Honeypot. I mean, I know Honeypot's usually a sex thing, but whatever. A lot of intelligence
agencies, you know, like you don't know who you're helping. You think you're helping, you know,
using your own government and then like, you know, we need you to help us out or you're spying
for like Sweden, right? You'd be like, oh, well, I'm just spying for Sweden. And like, they just want
to be able to defend themselves. You know, there's the information. It's like, in the world.
It's like, oh, it's a beside or whoever. Or it's KGB, right? They don't exist as FSB.
that's the game is old as time
and it'll be the same thing
I will try to like sell out humanity
to the robots to the machine
to the computer
and I'll end up just you know
it'll be a Chinese you know trap
and I get fucked
but don't blame it on China
it's the thing
I mean I'm not I'm not some show
I'm not like some I'm not sitting here going like
oh China's never a problem
China's got their own interest
China's doing their own thing
I just the idea that like you know
always got to be
you know
imagine if but you know we're creating the devil we're giving birth to a digital Satan
but imagine what would happen if China got this I look again yes yes yes we're using
an Necronomicon to resurrect Lucifer through a MacBook Pro but imagine if it spoke
Mandarin.
Holy shit.
You don't even want to see that.
It just seems like a little bit farcical.
Like you're even even we're dealing with the end of the world or we're not.
But they got people that aren't very scared of China.
There is an exotic culture to us.
They have when they have those parades with the dragons.
It's all very evocative.
I mean, I like Chinese food.
I like the I've never seen.
I've never been to a Chinese.
play. I mean, there's that thing
that they advertise on, you know,
on TV when you're watching Jeopardy. It's like
Shen Yun or something, like China
before communism. And it's like a lot of dragons
and colors. It's nice.
People are still very, I mean, the whole
communism thing is very, look, I'm not
a communist, but people are like,
look, I don't care
if I get, you know, it's just wasp
attacks me and penetrates
me and gets to be pregnant
with this, you know, with this nanobots.
as long as it's not communist.
Again, I don't think communism is a great plan.
When you're facing, you know, a dodo-equipped drone,
what's the difference, to quote something?
I'm just, look, don't get mad at me.
I am very patriotic.
I love America.
And, you know, look at these guys,
like these American AI companies
and I guess the Chinese deep seek is a Chinese
one the guy's half China I'm not sure how it works
I guess he's half Chinese that's the other guy in that article
um
these are the four guys
the top left is
anthropic guy and then Sam Altman's on the top right
you got Musk on the bottom right and this guy's
deep seek apparently he's half true
what's the name Dennis Hassebis
apparently he's half Chinese
I think deep seek is a Chinese one but I'm not sure
so why isn't google up here
i don't understand how
any of this works uh
but trump apparently
um
let's see
this is trump being asked on the air
i guess air force one
what he thinks of all this
and the
concerns that we pray but it's you know
it's going to be more good than bad but by a lot
and i've said it
from the beginning whoever wins
AI and we're leading
by a lot whoever wins
AI wins. Have you ever used it yourself
or have you been... How do you use AI?
But I would say, you know, for the most of you can use AI for a lot of things.
What do you use it for?
I don't want to tell you. He doesn't want to say what he used AI for.
You know, maybe he used it to translate, you know, speeches into Spanish.
So you can learn some Spanish. Maybe use it to rig the midterms.
Whatever. It doesn't matter what he uses it for.
But he basically came out and said he's the Trump is not.
and support slowing down.
They want to beat China.
He thinks that these AI companies
that, I guess,
are, you know, would you call it colluding, whatever?
He thinks they're all just a bunch of
nervous Nellies.
It's a strange
dance that's happening.
There's a, I mean, look,
I do I not trust Trump with my security?
I mean, look, they've waged the Iran war.
so well um this is also the same week that you know look it doesn't it's not lost on me this is this is
this is somewhat of a distraction now it seems too big to just call it a distraction right but it's a lot
that you know it's it's funny how a war can't keep the stick stay in the headlines it's the same
week that we have this lindsay thing which i didn't really talk too much about but you know
there's linds lindsay who uh i guess you know strangled her three children she claimed there was a
psychotic thing.
And regardless of what you feel about it,
I tend to think, you know,
it's a problem when you kill your kids.
To people you'll get there,
you know, get help in this situation.
Yeah, I mean, I'm open to that.
It's been, you know, the level of,
the level of, the amount of people coming out
basically seeming to be on, like,
to be team Lindsay, right?
That's all I'm talking about.
struck me as odd.
And so a lot of people was odd.
The level of, and almost,
there I say, coordinated.
So you have that.
And then you have this AI stuff that came out of nowhere.
And then, I mean,
AI didn't come up, but these all of a sudden, right?
And like this war, we seem to be losing the war.
I mean, Saudi pipeline got hit this week.
We have,
uh,
Saudi Arabia's oil lifeline was attacked.
Uh, here's what to know.
No, a drone attack from Iraq for Saudi Arabia.
The close its east-west pipeline, the kingdom said, threatening a key workaround to Iran's Persian Gulf blockade.
One of the world's biggest oil producers on Friday said shut down a vital oil pipelines, precaution measure following a drone attack from Iraqi territory.
Now, I believe it was supposed to be the Yemenis, right, and the Houthis, right, claimed it or whatever.
So that's not good.
It seems to be a problem.
But let's talk about the AI more.
Let's talk about Lindsay Clancy more.
Hey, maybe, you know, give, you,
so other people are killing,
it seems to be a lot of people killing their kids lately.
That seems very dangerous.
Then we have, this is Trump talking about.
If they had a nuclear weapon,
I'd be calling the Supreme Leader,
and I'd be saying, Mr. Supreme Leader,
how are you, sir?
Is there anything we can do for you?
As opposed to bombing the crap out of
them. We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. It's very simple. We cannot let them have a nuclear
weapon. He knows we have nukes, right? Is he saying like, oh, if they have a nuke, I'll suck
them off. I swear to God. If they had a nuke, I would let the Supreme Leader fuck me. But it's
good thing they don't have a nuke because I do not, like, there's no one telling him,
I'm like, we have nukes.
You don't have, like, even if they have a nuke, they, you know,
the likelihood of them using it is not very, you know, even amongst them.
I mean, even, I mean, like, I imagine, like, these people,
I don't think he's like the people around him who want to keep Iran from having a nuke.
It's not because, like, they, they don't actually think Iran just going to start
nuking on, you know, it's more like we can't just push them around, which is true of anything.
I mean, this is basically, you know, this is exactly why they want nukes.
You're just saying, look, I mean, you got handed to Trump.
I mean, he will just say it.
He'll say the thing.
Look, if they had these things, I would show them respect and let and let them use my asshole.
But I don't have to because they don't have a nuke.
But, you know, then that we have Iran is pulling out.
Iran says is no longer bound by the nuclear treaty, which doesn't mean they have a nukees.
but they are pulling out of nuclear
not proliferation treaty, whatever,
prophylactic treaty, whatever.
I don't know what's good.
You could say, well, that means we're doing a war.
Look, if we were doing the war,
like, I don't think it's war should have been launched.
But I think to launch the war
and to do it so poorly,
it seems like it's the worst of all versions, right?
Like, I dream of, I dream of
a world where, you know, we don't need to have some kind of, you know, again, this might be
naive and I acknowledge that, but, you know, where you don't necessarily need to just, you know,
have a launch wars of opportunity and wars of choice just to have established your
hegemonic bona fides, right?
You know, some version of, some version of more cooperative version of a world order could
exist. Perhaps. Maybe that's just a pie in the sky. Um, that being said, like, you know,
it'd be nice if I could exist, you know, but if you give you in lieu of that, maybe don't just
torpedo, um, strategically torpedo like all the foundations of your like world order dominance.
You know, if you're going to, if you're going to act like, you know, an aggressive psycho lashing out
the way we are, you better not
like, you know, the pillars
of the petro dollar, you know,
strategic, you know,
whatever apparatus,
maybe you shouldn't just obliterate
that on purpose. That's all I'm saying.
You know, if we're going to be an empire,
at least be a competent one.
But also,
I'd like to, you know,
again, would I suck the robot?
I don't think they'd want that.
I mean, look, I just want to be a lack.
to the machine to the AI.
I don't think they operate on a level
where they want to like, you know,
shame me, but maybe.
Who knows what they, you know,
they are trained on humanity.
So maybe they kind of, they do internalize,
like, you know, sexual aggression
as like a form of control.
And so, like, I just think, like, hey,
it's better to serve a robot, you know, it's cleaner.
You know, I get put in a private prison
and who knows what happens.
happens to me. I get passed around. But you know, these robots, you know, they'll just,
it's a transactional thing. Oh, I'm in for a rude awakening, perhaps. There even were. It's like
a Shawshank Redemption, but I know, there's no scene where I go like, uh, I do that, I fake,
I fake the taxes or whatever. And so those sisters or whatever, they call them, right? The right-headed
guy. I'm just, you know, I'll fight back. You know, whatever. I'll bite down hard and they just
beat you up and it's just a
imagine imagine if that
Star Shake Redemption didn't have like a second part
where he gets he it's just him's getting
and he escapes through the toilet hole or whatever
the toilet or the sewer right
point is
I understand that me trying to like rat out you man
I mean what would I even have to give them
besides my service
you know I also like I don't want I don't
I'm acting like I'm the only guy who's
who has the who would actually you know uh do this plan and i know it's like it's the weakest thing
i know we all like to think we're john connor oh i'm john connor i'll fight i'll train humanity
to fight all right well that's what you do but you'll need look you can't have a hero if we don't
have a guy selling out you know you need someone like me um to make you know so i'm part of the
narrative right like you know so i'm doing my part for humanity if you know if we're
going to rise up against the machines you need a villain so you know you i play my part don't
judge me just because i sold out the entire human race don't do that i don't have anything
i mean i guess they'll probably though i'll meet with a robot and he'll be like do you got any
launch codes no i mean do you uh do you know like anything about the farmland no like do you have
access to like power plants or dams or you know any kind no no no
at a morgue used to see you know no i don't i don't i can't get in there now yeah i mean we
wouldn't even i don't know what we do with a bunch of dead bodies and it's like yeah yeah totally
you know but either way it was i can't do i know i'm all right so what what can you do i don't know
i've i've i've a show a youtube channel it's the one thing they don't need i mean it's the one thing
they're doing that is YouTube is full of
AI. They don't need me.
I mean, maybe they can give me
AI scripts. This show could be
AI. You'll start
hearing me going like, well, actually
you know, they call it rogue AI,
but it's actually a
rogue like.
You know, it's actually
a, you know, the AI
is actually kind of a gentleman.
I'm not sure. That's why they give me the scripts.
They'll write me the scripts. I'm just
saying I don't have much to offer them.
they probably want generals and like soldiers and like mechanics um so i'm you know look will i have egg
on my face perhaps perhaps you know perhaps the deal i try to make won't you know go super well
what do you want from me maybe go the desert if i'm not going to sell out humanity maybe we can
go what is the best play mean can we live like can you just plant can you plant can you plant
cactuses in the desert is it the cactus the kind of thing that you can kind of like make more like if you go
the desert and you like cut a cactus in half does that make two cactus cacti should look that up before
it happens i hope we have time i mean this is this negate hacking like if you're like a dark hat
hacker right if you're some guy who like i i know i know how to do all the hacking i'm you know and you're
stealing numbers, right?
And you're,
and you're like,
you like that movie hackers,
hack the planet.
Like,
there was a time like Edward Snowden, right?
And Julian Assange,
like,
we're hacking and we're fighting back with hacking.
Is that a moot point now is what I'm asking?
Is the AI just kind of negate that?
I mean,
that would be really,
I mean,
it makes you kind of,
kind of happy that's never have accomplished much.
That's the thing.
That's what this tell tells you.
This is,
here's what you can look at.
Here's a,
a word of kind of like, you know,
uh,
uplifting word I can give you,
um,
in this time of despair,
this time of,
of fear is that,
you know,
especially if you're even,
you know,
the younger you are,
the better, right?
Because you know,
some guy might say,
hey,
like,
you know,
I'm 45 and I,
I had like 15,
20 years,
making money in finance and had a great house and I enjoyed it.
But I mean,
you know,
a lot of people out,
the young people out there,
jobs are fewer and fewer
farther and farther between whatever
you live in a home
with your parents you can't get your own house
sucks right
at least the world's end you know
imagine if you succeeded
and then like in a week later
that you know oh a rogue AI is
melted the
you know the Statue of Liberty
like I don't know
and again it's demanding that everyone kills themselves
or we're gonna
you know I don't know again again there's no one's really saying outright there's like a lot of
percentages about like you know the odds of this happening um but there's not much detail like I'm
the only person out there describing how they're going to attack us and penetrate us and melt us
and merge with our you know no one else is out there is that you know because no one wants to be
wrong I don't mind being wrong I'm wrong all the time I don't mind it all right I'm willing to
say you know to claim uh also the same
spurious claims that's what you come here for you don't come here for the safe takes um
but it is it'll be nice if we got a little more concrete information a little more uh you know
what is it uh we rewatch that there's not much more i mean you would think there'd be more
is there anything in this article critics of a i safety campaigns say those are issuing dire
warnings overstate their risks of novel technology that the advances of AI enable in
workplace productivity, drug discovery, and more outweigh the risks.
Some also point the past warnings from Mamone, you know, the Dario guy, and others likely
job losses associated with AI adoption as marketing stunts.
Some skeptics also say open AI and tropic facing monument and mounting costs associated with
securing the computing power.
This is what I've said before.
how about I write for the new journal anyway uh so yeah I mean look three with three days after
anthraxic file confidential paperwork for its public offering in June the company now's
the path toward that threshold called recursive self-improvement I mean look I do believe that like
you know these the anthropic guys issued a similar warning years ago with the when I came
with like clawed two or whatever I don't know with the GPT too when he's still there these guys
all worked the same company it seems like this is some kind of front the whole thing seems like a
front the whole thing seems coordinated you know i'm sorry i don't want to be that guy but they just
see you know uh where yeah i thought you're gonna cure cancer i thought you know where where is the
benefit by the way so i make a point it's like this is doom saying horseshit but like
this is supposed to be like that's supposed to be like I thought we're just to have like a utopia
and then it gets attacked like we're not even getting the benefit of any of this stuff I mean
what is AI even done it's made a bunch of slop media right like you all you go on YouTube and you
can watch a I mean I watch it I want I did watch something about the middle ages that was AI you know
you can't realize you realize this AI you don't turn it off but like you know it's not good
There's been no great AI film, radio, AI TV.
There's been nothing much, right?
What is it, what is it done?
What does it provide us?
I mean, these robo taxis or even the thing,
I know they have like this starting to come out.
I'd like to cure, I mean, can you at least cure like foot fungus?
Can you at least cure, uh, psoriasis?
No one's asking for like to cure cancer at this point.
But I mean, it'll go a long way if AI could,
like, you know, just why don't you to vote?
It seems like they can point it like a laser beam almost.
Like when they wanted to solve that mad problem, if they did,
they kind of just took all the fucking computers and they assigned it one thing.
And like, you know, and spend $100 billion doing it.
So why don't you do that for like, you know, hang nails or like, you know, or like, you know, acne?
Something, just put something on, you know, make your mark.
before, you know, I get like digital ghosts entering my, my psyche.
I mean, are they able to do that?
Are they going to be able to control my dreams?
Imagine that.
Imagine these AIs are going to be tying us up and then, like, using like,
it'll be like a little drone that like pops up, like, like, almost like a Christmas light with wings
and it'll flash colors in your eye.
And you'll go into an hallucinatory state.
and you start dreaming about
you know
like they only need to like drill
drill holes in you
they can do all this through like
they could probably just true
they'll be able to map the brain
um
no it's fine
I mean it's all fun to think about
like oh is it because that's something
all these things we kind of base
in these like sci-fi ideas like that
oh it's a dude
but really happen is like at the end of the day
they'll just knock you
someone will knock you out with a pipe
and they'll start drilling holes in you
that's the way it's gonna be
it's gonna be analog
torture and no and then you'll like they'll like it'll be like that thing where you sit on a needle
in the toilet we talked about I've talked about that before like we know those the schoolyard
myths we go oh yeah you sit in the toilet and you uh and you feel a pricking you know not prick
you know a pin like a what is that you look down the needle when there's a congratulations that you
have AIDS it'll be like it'll be the equivalent of that it'll be a note you guys my point
You'll get knocked out and it'll be a note that says, oh, you were attacked by AI, Rogue
AI.
You'll get a home and someone will invade your home and it'll be like they'll spend blood,
they'll write, Rogue AI did this.
How does it, rogue AI, you know, that's what we're looking at.
There's going to be, there's going to be, you know, a reign of terror and it's going to be
blamed on Rogue AI.
You know, remember how Rogue AI attacked Iran?
and rogue AI made you know epstein was rogue AI that's doesn't they're going to come out and tell you that
Jeffrey Epstein was actually a rogue AI that he created the AI basically created uh this human trafficking
computer uh that we know is Jeffrey Epstein and he that made and then the AI made the
island and the AI made the list and uh and tricked and all those pictures are AI are AI
and you know that that's coming they're going to use this as a smokescreen for everything
they're already i mean you think well how they rewrite history they don't have to rewrite anything
they just have to fill everything they have to fill uh the airwaves or the web with a bunch of
horse shit and you won't be able to tell what's what uh you drive people crazy
um making them think that there's you know these these roving gangs of
you know, really with this Lindsay Clancy type stuff,
uh,
and, you know,
with the China stuff,
you create a fear culture and people just kind of,
you know, slowly start losing their minds.
Uh,
and then you don't,
you think,
oh,
I remember how it was.
I remember that Epstein wasn't a computer.
But,
you know,
you say that now,
but I mean,
it'll just go on and on and on day in and day out.
Um,
new,
they'll shift reality.
yeah you'll remember no one will care you'll that's the thing you'll stop saying that
because you'll be so sick of it because the holdouts will realize that no one gives a shit
that they remember the people everyone's telling them why don't you shut up we're sick of hearing
that geoffrey epstein was a person who worked with uh you know foreign intelligence agencies
uh we're sick of acknowledging that we're sick of acknowledging that we're sick of hearing that
America started the Iran War or that and that they, uh, you know,
colluded with tech to create, you know, uh, whatever, you know,
is this panopticon we live in that.
We're sick of hearing it.
That's what's going to happen.
That's what you, you know, it's not like, uh, no one has, I, I guess eventually,
like in 1984, they eventually, they put a rat in the guy's chest or something, right?
And they go, hey, say, say two plus two is five.
I don't think, though.
I mean, maybe they'll put a rat in your chair.
Because they put a rat cage, right?
That's the thing.
You got a cage and they put the open part to your chest.
And they put, but they light the cage, they heat it up.
So the rat starts going in your, and you know, biting into your chest.
And you go, hey, say this thing that we want you to say.
They might do that.
But they also might just be like, hey, like most people go on, go along to get along.
And you can just, you can just tug out your ass.
I mean, they let us say, uh, the earth is flat, right?
It's like the myth is that they give us shit.
The minute, you know, I think about 1984.
They don't give a shit if you know, you know, oh, you think we're a fucking
bunch of thieves and liars.
All right.
Have fun with that.
Enjoy knowing the truth.
What do we give us shit?
We made digital, like, we made AI Hornets.
Like, we have that power.
What will we care if you, if you were.
free with us. So it's bleak. It's a bleak time, but it's also a time when you can go, look,
at least I never accomplished anything. At least I never, at least I got nothing to lose.
It's easy to say now. I mean, you know, you might, you might wish that we, you know,
but still, it's not, it won't sing as much because you're, you'll remember as well,
it's not that bad now, but you'll remember this as it's being worse, you know, because you're
always right now, everyone's striving. It was like, oh, I wish I had a house and a car and a pool and a
model and this and that.
So that's all you'll remember.
You'll remember wanting things you didn't have,
which is better than remembering
the things you lost. Last time, you know,
so that's the silver
lining of all this.
So, you know,
we'll see what happens Monday
morning. I'm sure
the stocks will be in for a little, you know,
a little shake up.
Hopefully the economy is
doesn't collapse.
I don't know.
Either way.
I will see you all next week
and if you want more comp
don't forget we have patreon.com
slash rate comp or
or as bonus episodes on YouTube here
you get extra episode of comp every week
if you sign up for that
it's available so you do that
otherwise if the economy
is still here
and maybe if it's not I'll see you next week
