I'm currently for 20 minutes you're like are you in the are you in the I'm in my mom's office like her little office off the kitchen but I'm currently rocking um the baby with like with my foot oh you are this is like a true yes this is a true momming moment and and Ford has been watching like seven hours of Sesame Street and he's eating veggie straws and I don't think he's eating

anything other than that today so like that is second baby sitch I love it I was like I can hear some like child noises happening in the background. Oh, shoot. Is it too loud? No, it's fine. I love it. I'm so proud of you. I think it's just real life right now. You know what? Oh, God. Elmo. And you've never been more relatable. I love this. I know. I know. Okay. This is an episode of Allegedly What's Happening because you have been in the hospital being a mom. We need to keep these girls up on pop culture. And there's so much to talk about. So I'm going to start with the news that broke just, you know, a couple days ago. I knew it was going to happen. Reese from DCC is turning in her cowboy boots for her LaDuca boots

as Roxy on Broadway. Proof yet again that we will never get on Broadway unless we become reality stars. You know, I actually the other day was thinking about it and I was like, Becca, you're friends with so many reality stars. Just ask them if you could just go on their show for a little bit so that you could play Roxy Hart like I'm gonna call up Stassi and be like hey you break the fourth wall in the show in this like really cool way can we break it again and be like Becca really wants to be Roxy on Broadway she's gonna come do the show and you guys really accept her with open arms so she can follow her dream before she's 60 years old like she'll just come stir up some shit like an obvious plot line there she's like calling you up you're like I need to be

Roxy Hart. So like, let's get it going. I will get in a fight with Katie. Hello. I can do it all. I have no qualms at this point. And I just, listen, good for Reese. She's adorable. She's so precious. I wish her well, but I'm also pissed. Yeah, that's how I feel. I love Reese, but also, you know, did she really want to leave the spotlight? Like, okay. I don't, Did you guys watch last season? Was that her storyline? What spotlight? Wait.

I don't even know who this person is. I only watched season one with her. Okay. Let me get everyone here up to speed on this. So, I just finished it. Can you get people up to speed that haven't watched the show at all? Okay. There's a show called Making the Band or whatever, Making the Group on Netflix, America's Sweethearts.

And it's on like its third season. And they had a Making the DCC show on CMT Forever. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. They had one on CMT Forever, and I always watched it. And it's like they do this whole thing where the girls have to audition. They have to do a solo. They have guest judges.

And then they go to training camp. So they like a football player. They go to training camp. And if you're a veteran of the team, you've been on the team before, you wear a blue sports bra. And if you're a rookie, you wear a pink sports bra. And, like, they'll start with, like, 25 rookies for, like, nine spots on the team. And then they teach you the routines. they, you know, they audition you, you get a makeover and then they pick, and then every,

every episode they cut someone. And then at the end you have your Dallas Cowboys cheerleader team and they watch you through the first game. And then that's the show. It's very competitive. And so Reese is like, she really is America's sweetheart. So she came on season one to audition. She loves Jesus. She married the first boy she's ever been on a date with. And so in the first season she's he's just her boyfriend and then between their filming finishing and Dallas Cobras cheerleaders airing on Netflix they got married but like she is the sweetest most like she is the opposite of Lady Gang she is pure and lovely and sweet and in her her backup job is like arranging flowers like she is a Hallmark star a Hallmark star oh shit I just manifested she's

going to be in a Hallmark movie next. Oh my God. A hundred percent. Okay. So you're right. She's, she's doing, what was your movie? She's doing the sequel. So I'm just putting her in song for Christmas to Reese, you know, Godspeed. If I were a casting director, I would be on that in two seconds. So you're welcome. Um, okay. So Reese, anyway, she is like America's sweethearts. Then we see her... Anyway, so this past season that has just aired, she has an injury. She injures her foot at the Christmas show. And she is deciding this entire season, she's deciding if she'll come back. So normally the girls, they do five years on the team. You're a five-year veteran and then you hang up your boots. She's only been on the team

for three years and she's deciding. And they talk a lot about how her fame... She's definitely the breakout star her fame on the netflix show has you know caused her she's getting brand deals she's getting opportunities and the husband is like well we really haven't had a chance to be married yet like we got married and then all of a sudden she was reese from dcc and like we don't have any time we don't spend any time together and then she basically is like the husband is like i just became her like social media manager and not her husband boohoo now i just need to say something they seem very happy together and i'm very happy if she is happy but like i want everyone to think if they married the first person they ever dated what that would be like do you know

what i mean like i i i love that she's so pure and was like i'm gonna marry this guy reese is a 20 out of 10 like she's one of the most beautiful people i've ever seen enigmatic, amazing. This guy is like, he's an Edmonton 10. No, he's an Edmonton 7. You know what I mean? Like he is. What's her last name? Weaver. Like he's just a regular dude. You know what I mean? And like so lucky to have her where he should be like kissing the ground she walks on. But instead, there's just an underlying of like he doesn't want her to stay on the team because he wants her for himself but even though they make a very like listen the whole season he's like I'm not trying to make you make a decision if you want to leave or not but I think we should like

spend more time together and we need time to be married and like this is just such a huge undertaking for you well okay she leaves the team was that the real now is Reese secretly nasty because is that the reason she left the team because now they're leaving Texas they're going to New York she's going to be doing eight shows a week on Broadway you thought you didn't see this woman before yeah when she's doing eight football games home games a year now she's doing eight shows a week she's in New York City the press capital of the world like as a soloist like oh yeah like she's gone you know what I mean so was that the real reason was this a storyline is he a genius where he's like I don't know we should just be married everyone's like oh my god that's

so nice and now she's gonna go do Broadway I don't know right right right right well um one thing sorry I'm very hopped up about this no I get it I get it well first of all I think when you take people and pluck them from obscurity the way that they did with him I mean maybe not her she's been I guess dancing and doing all these things her whole life so there's like an element of her being in the spotlight but certainly not at this level but then he's just this like good old boy from the south and I do believe that he is probably wanting a more like a more traditional, it seems traditional marriage situation. He's not going to get that ever. So they're never going to last unless he does secretly want it to work or unless

he does secretly want her to stay in the spotlight, which I doubt. So they're never going to work because if you're going to play Roxy Hart and Chicago, like you're saying the press capital of the world and you married a guy who wants to like stay home and make cornbread, it's just you're you're never it's not gonna happen so godspeed to the two of them but also do you think when I watch someone like her do we think she ever has a mean thought come into her head and she just doesn't ever say it do we think that those people actually don't have mean things come into their head I don't think she has mean things come to her head I don't I think she's like that girl which scares me because I have to know I know people like this like I just spent

time at home. And I was like, oh, there are people that like are just so sweet. But then you've got to be kind of ruthless in Hollywood to get where you are. Like there's a there's a like is she the one person that's going to make it to the top of Hollywood without being an evil genius? I don't know. Well, I'd hardly say she's at the top of Hollywood at this point. She's bigger than us, babe. Well, I would never say I'm even on the map at this point. But like she's certainly not taking over I would say like Whitney from um whatchamacallit for sure has like evil genius in her because she definitely does for sure which is like good for you I just simply want to know like even Hollywood aside I did I've known women like this and it's always been

something very heavy on my mind and I need to know and I don't think there's any way to prove this unless someone like you know a friend a close family member or whatever is able to tell me that these types of women actually do have negative or bad feelings come into their brains like I'm still very fixated on this I feel like I mean listen I don't know again who you guys are even talking about but I feel like with that type of person there's no way that you can be human without having negative thoughts in your brain I feel like maybe especially I don't want to like stereotype but like she's obviously very religious and like southern maybe and southern and maybe those thoughts aren't socially appropriate and like stuff like that so I feel like with some

people like that it's very suppressed in a sense and it's like you're not allowing yourself to have those thoughts but there's no way I know I need to know I know I know it's so you guys let's try to get an interview with her for her role in Roxy for Lady Gang and we'll try to like get her to say something nasty there's no way so PR trained there's no way you're right but I don't think they're going to make it so upsetting. I know. I don't think that a husband. Only good for her. She probably deserves better. It reminds me. It's very triggering for me because it reminds me so much of my first husband. It is exactly the same thing. I met you as a showgirl on a cruise ship. You were so excited that you were dating the hot girl in a sequin G-string. And then we

got into real life and you're like, wait, you're not going to like come home and make me dinner every night. You know what I mean? And he was like, wait, you're going to do this forever? wait, this isn't just a phase. And like, that's when it fell apart. And I was like, no, no, no, I'm, I'm gonna like chase after my dreams in a big way forever. I'm never going to be home at dinner, you know? And he was like, hold on. And then got resentful and got jealous and was mean. And, you know, so we'll see. That's like every Southern man's dream girl is just the girl that like dances for the dance team for like the college football team. And then she like hangs up her hat. You know, they don't want you to take this any further. They don't need you to have a

business manager. They don't want you to create an LLC. They just want you to get like some attention and be hot. And so his friends can be like, wow, your girlfriend is so hot. Next, Anne's baby bump out on the red carpet. becca who is now leaning down to collect her baby did you see it jack yeah i saw it so this is the first time that she's like shown her stomach is that why it's such a big deal well it's a always a big deal when you see a celebrity especially an oscar winner with a baby bump and a lot of times the baby bumps that are shown on the red carpet are like a mid baby bump it's not um full it's not what's it called? What's the thing that you have there? Are they popped? Yeah, it's not popped. Listen, I'm going to be totally honest with my knee jerk reaction to it. I felt like, is that necessary? Is that really the part of anatomy that I, I find it to be really

exposing. And she seems like somebody who's so private and she's telling people, calma, calma when she walks down the street, but then you're going to come out with this like very pelvic forward pregnancy. I mean, it is a very low waisted jean. It's like how maybe I would show my baby bump when I have it. For sure. Absolutely. And I'd be like, yes, of course, that's Jack. She's been naked her whole life. Like, why would she stop now? If anything, it's even cooler. But with Anne Hathaway, it just seems so strange that this was the choice. You know, I have a big theory. Anne is entering her no fits era. I'll tell you why. Because our friend or a dancer

friend of mine Danny Vitale was her movement coach for her mother movie where she became a pop star and I was like how was it that must have been so scary like she's such a

perfectionist she was like no she's she's chilled the out and Hathaway she's having sex in her 40s she's getting pregnant in her 40s she's not I don't think that's how that

that wow does ford go to school yet yeah he's been going since he was two what i mean it's essentially daycare but it is they it is a quote school do you do like back back to school shopping for him and get like a new backpack or no we do we usually do a new backpack and we usually do like a couple items of clothing but you know they destroy their clothes so he i saved the nice clothes for the weekends and and like special occasions yeah um but the basics are yeah i have to buy new stuff because he grows so quickly i know it's like all the shoes and stuff well we are so excited to be um presented on lady gang by macy's macy's has so many cute things i'm actually going to the beach for christina perry's 40th birthday and i bought the most ridiculous kaftan

and it was on sale because it's like the end of summer and everything's on sale but this is We're talking about how we're preparing for fall. And I recently basically upgraded. I wanted to tell you guys, so many year ago, probably, do you remember when Bethany was like doing the pouches and she was like, everything has a pouch. And I did the plastic pouches for everything. And I was like, okay, I'm going to do my electronics pouch and my travel pouch and like all the pouches. I have loved living the pouch life so much so that for the new fall year, and I'm going into the new school year too with my book, I'm doing pouches, but I upgraded. I went on Macy's and I found a bunch of these like really cute. I'll show you. Leather. I need this. They're like

leather, like real leather. They're nice. Yes. Super nice. And they come in all different sizes. there is a sunglass one there's and so everything is now a pouch but it's like a beautiful leather pouch that goes in the in the backpack and like i'm staying organized but now i'm not doing it in like a plastic crunchy melting in your car type of pouch i think it's very chic i know um how are you getting back together jack for the fall what do you do are you doing anything other than like your painting overalls um i mean but fall fashion is your thing because it's jean weather again well i just love i just love any excuse to get a new jacket because i feel like the jacket makes my outfit in the fall and winter so i'm already looking on macy's for jackets even

though it's 100 degrees out in california right now um but they have so many brands that i love there that i didn't even know they had like addicted i love that brand and it's affordable and it's always on sale and they have really good bomber jackets so that's what i'm doing That's very on trend for you, Jack, as a pseudo Gen Z alpha because all of my friends' teenage daughters are addicted to addicted. No, I know. Well, I've just discovered that I don't dress like a Gen Z. I do dress like a Gen Alpha. This is my new fashion. You skipped a whole thing. I love it. I'm 15.

And I was talking to Sue Madore, who used to be our publicist, who's a publicist for Podcast One. And she's, you know, she's very close and she is a publicity person for Derek Hough and ariana maddox so like she knows the dancing with the stars people and so i'm like hey um i you know i got asked to do can i will not ask but i got a meeting with canadian traders do you think i should like let dina katz who casts all the shows in america know and see if there's like any interest for anything she's casting and she goes yeah and i said do you think i should just write her an email and sue's like honestly people have done it before and it's worked and i was like oh my god

great so i sent dina katz an email who's like the biggest casting producer in hollywood and i was like hey Dina just want to remind you that I'm crazy I'm a psychopath um I got all this this is what's happening with me and like I would love to be cast on something and I know you know just you know E's coming up I just signed another year it would be so great now that we're not a part of we're our own network like it's we're just a cable network she never responded um obviously shocker wait whatever happened with the Canadian traders um they it was when they were doing the Met Gala it was this it was my same thing so I wasn't I couldn't do it because I had to be because I was under contract yeah maybe I'll do another season but there's like so many Canadian shows

I just spent time in Canada I'm like amazing race great Project Runway like I need to get up there anyway you deserve to be on the regular traders I think you become a breakout star I know thank you so much anyway so then I said to Sue I was like well I never heard back from Dina is this still her email address and she goes let me check in and she checks back in and she said Dina says she's pretty much cast for everything. I mean, I was so desperate to get on Dancing with the Stars. Not well, I mean, I actually didn't propose this idea, but you know, Stacey Keebler is one of my very good friends. She was the first, I think she was the first one to win it. Like for season one, whatever. Oh yeah. And she's very close with Dina, obviously. She's OG Dancing with the Stars
