Podcast One presents The Lady Gang, The Hollywood Girl Posse with Lady Gang Quickie.
Starting point is 00:00:38 Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Let's make this quick. Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to The Quickie. I am Becky here with Jack and Kelty and this is The Lady Gang. It is The Lady Gang Quickie. Hello. Sorry, I was just so distracted. Just by everything in my whole life. Well, I have to put some lipstick on because I went to Dr.
Starting point is 00:01:03 As you guys can see, I have a swollen lip and a swollen face. I went to Dr. Diamond for my pre-Emmys. Look at. Oh, my God. You're very bruised. You got a little filler? I got a little lip filler, which I haven't done in a long time. But it's going to go down.
Starting point is 00:01:15 I'm really swollen. And I did a little bit of filler around my temples. And I did an insta-facial, which is he does the PRP, takes your blood, separates it, the plasma. And then he puts a resurfacing laser So it's like real crunchy Like sandpapery skin And then he rolls the PRP into your face And so I'm only on day one
Starting point is 00:01:39 I had it yesterday And you look pretty good For just getting a bunch of shit done Because I have to go do another podcast after this But I'm very swollen My lips are huge and bruised Anyway It's not about me
Starting point is 00:01:51 I did that for the first time You know the BBL Moxie That's like blowing up the nation Yeah um I believe the hype is is really it's it's real I did them I didn't need a lot of the BBL she hit like two spots because that's for I don't know it's all sunspots yeah and then the moxie I really really like the results and I feel like I never notice anything do you have any from that kind of thing very like very major but I really it was really nice really really how many times
Starting point is 00:02:22 can I say really really really sorry I know I talk so much but I also want to tell you something that happened yesterday when I was getting my... This is a podcast. You're allowed to talk. Okay. Sorry. Also, I've been doing a one-two punch with our sponsors. I know this is like not a... Whatever. I'm not going to be like, this is not an ad. It's an ad, but it's not an ad. Okay. So, you know, I'm a neutrophil girl. After my bad Paris haircut, I went back to my four neutrophil a day because I got to grow it out. But then I also double put on hers, the minoxidil pill for hair growth. You guys, my bad hairline is growing in so crazy. Anyway, we need to talk about things. There's a new housewife. This is allegedly what's happening. We got to give the
Starting point is 00:03:05 pop culture news. This isn't about my hairline. It's about Tracy Tudor joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We've had her on the podcast before, right? Yeah. Long time ago. I like her. I think this is going to be good, guys. Me too. She knows the assignment. She's been on Bravo before. She's very tan. She just got a facelift. She and Dorit do not get along. So there's instant fighting.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Oh, they don't? No, because remember that whole thing happened where Dorit wasn't paying the glam team? You missed this. I can't believe you missed this. There's drama. Recent? Yeah, this happened like eight months ago or something.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Something happened where Tracy and Dorit were using the same hairstylist or something. And Dorit was very behind on her bills. And something happened where Tracy went full Kelty and had a countdown and like called her out on Instagram about it publicly. And then Dorit paid her bills. And anyway, I think Dorit was embarrassed by it. And Tracy was just trying to get her hairstylist to get paid. Like it was a whole thing. Wow. I like that loyalty. So I'm really excited because on Saturday night, two days from when you're listening to this, it's Rachel Zoe's birthday party. Again, the one where I admitted I had a facelift last year. It's already been a year. Same time, different party. Now it's old
Starting point is 00:04:25 Hollywood themed. Anyway, I'm going to go and I'm going to scout out the Tracy Dorit drama and report back to you. Just kidding. Then you have to sign an NDA, but I'll let you know a little bit. Exciting. Exciting. Anyway. Did they lose a housewife or is it everybody? Yeah, they lost Amanda. Oh, they did. Yeah, she's gone. Thank God. She didn't fit. She should be on OC. Yes, she should. She lives in Newport. She should go on OC. But you know what? She's another situation where she couldn't be anything any more different from Ashley. But it's the same thing where you're like, you're not on the same show. You're not at the same level. Amanda had done too much work on trying to make herself stay calm in stressful situations. I'm like, if you're a
Starting point is 00:05:06 housewife, I need you to be as reactive as you can. Like throw a table, be absolutely knee jerk reactive, like three days before your period psychotic at all times. I don't need you taking deep breaths and doing box breaths while sitting at a dinner table. That's for real life. That's for normal people. We're not doing the get out of yourself. Don't do the tapping. You're not tapping yourself to bring yourself back in your body. I want you to be throwing a prosthetic leg across the room like yes yes amen okay um I want to talk about things that are going on in pop culture number one Vanity Fair released a best dressed of all time list today and it's actually really cool because it's I feel like Vanity Fair is back in a big way where Vogue
Starting point is 00:05:53 is failing. Vanity Fair is back. I got to pull my notes. Can we guess who's on it? Yeah. Guess, guess. So there's, there's, there's a bunch of different, okay. So there's like the overall best dress list. And then there's like the couple's best dress list, duos, originals, the future professionals, perennials. So let's just do the overall. Here's what I want to say to Vanity Fair. Thank you for doing the Lord's work because it's the, like the Met Gala is overrun by tick like tiktok and everything is overrun by influence right like all that matters now is how many followers you have and that's the that's how you get on these lists and stuff there's a girl on this list that i've never heard of that is an artist painter she has a hundred
Starting point is 00:06:40 thousand followers on instagram she's like i mean that's a lot of followers but she's not like that girl you know that's cool they just picked cool people from like her instagram of how she's dressing like she's like all these people are on the red carpet no well they're on the red car yeah no they're on the red carpet they're like um they're she's like at the Met Gala like she's obviously revered maybe she's a nepo baby I don't know right but it her name is Anna Wyant and she's just like a girl she lives in New York City's she went to the Met Gala she's styles herself she's an artist she's just cool so but she's like not famous you know okay guess who's on it don't look don't look zendaya she's a duo she's not the best dressed overall she's a duo with law
Starting point is 00:07:27 oh okay oh like she's my stylist not with their couple yeah it can be a duo it's like lisa rinna and whatever but she's not on okay um for men the men are so easy think of the top two best dressed men i feel like men all wear the same one carries a birkin he's tall he's tall he was Frankenstein. Oh, whatever his name is. Jacob Elordi. Oh, Jacob Elordi. He carries a Birkin?
Starting point is 00:07:52 He carries a Birkin? He was the first man that started like... I thought it was... What's his face? A Bottega. He has a Bottega bag. Oh, a Bottega. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:07:59 I was thinking of... Who did Dakota Johnson just break up with? Role model. Oh, role model. Because he has a Birkin. I saw the whole thing with his Birkin. Yeah. He's like embarrassed he has it, but like...
Starting point is 00:08:09 I'm glad. Like you should be. If you're a man, you should be embarrassed. But this is a thing. all the men are carrying giant heavy Birkins. I saw a celebrity man with a Birkin that was massive. And I was like, what's in that Birkin? And it was just like nine different bottles of cologne. Yeah. What are men carrying with them if they're not bringing like a laptop? You know, they don't have a bandaid. You know what I mean? They definitely don't have a bandaid.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Like a hand sanitizer, like any other woman. Not a nipple cover. Like a change of clothes. Thank you. Harry Styles is on the list. Oh, okay. Very cute. Zoe Kravitz is quite. She's not. She's not.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Okay. Tiana Taylor is. Oh, yeah. Okay. Okay. And then it's like a bunch of people that I, Paloma, the supermodel. I don't know who that is. Hunter Schaefer.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Do you know who Hunter Schaefer is? I love Hunter Schaefer. Yeah. She's very, very cool. Coleman Domingo, who has great style. Oh, God. He's incredibly stylish. and that to me
Starting point is 00:09:07 Coleman Domingo is the power of red carpet dressing because Coleman Domingo he's had great roles he's incredibly talented but the way he showed up to every premiere
Starting point is 00:09:16 as like the superstar of his own life has catapulted him into mega fame okay the perennials are Dapper Dan Tom Ford Tracee Ellis Ross
Starting point is 00:09:25 Nicole Kidman Lauren Santo Domingo Lenny Kravitz Grace Jones like these are you know Okay. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:09:36 I wanted to give you the duos. I think Lily Collins always looks really good. I know. I do love her style. Yeah, she's not on it. It's Rihanna and A$AP Rockier, the duos. Okay. Emmanuel and Bridgette McCron.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Okay. He's like the- Bridgette McCron? Yeah. Oh, sorry. He's like the president. Kim Kardashian and Northwest. I have a lot to say about the children of the Kardashians.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner. that they're so out Sarah Paulson that's it Sarah Paulson that's good yeah I I feel like I would have been I would be so mad at my mom if I had billions of people automatically watching me on my socials and I was 12 like in I just can't believe she's 12 12 and 13 or however old she is I would be mortified if that was blasted out like later in hindsight I'd be mortified Do you know what I mean? Well, she, did you see she just made that comment that she wants to go work at Starbucks?
Starting point is 00:10:36 That's what I was saying. That's my, that was my allegedly. She's like, I want to go work at Starbucks. She like wants a normal life. But then like, love this. But you don't. But then you like see her and like what she's doing. And it'll be like funny.
Starting point is 00:10:50 And then she'll be like, wait, you mean I have to go like during spring break? She'll pull a Jack Van Eyck to Old Navy. She'll be like, wait, I had to tell you that I was going on vacation. And just so you know, Starbucks opens at like five in the morning. So you're going to have to show up at 3 a.m. if you want to work at Starbucks.
Starting point is 00:11:03 It's true. People always say if you need a great assistant. Chelsea Parker was a barista when I hired her as my assistant. Thank you. That's a good assistant. Speaking of, I just had my assistant deliver my matcha. Jessica, what did we put in this? Is it good?
Starting point is 00:11:16 It's life changing? Jessica, your assistant or Jessica, your sister? My sister. I was going to say, what? You have an assistant out there? Everybody's been really excited about my Starbucks drink. I've gotten a lot of messages. The one that I recommended the other day.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Tell me. She got me a, this is an iced matcha with oat milk, light ice, one pump of classic syrup, and one pump of the toasted coconut syrup with coconut cream cold foam on top. Damn, girl. Holy shit. Indulgent. It looks so bomb. Wow. Tastes like sunscreen in the best way you can imagine.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Whoa. This coconut cream cold foam, did Northwest put this together? I think Northwest put that together for you. She prepared this for us. Can I talk about something? Yeah. Yeah, please. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:02 No. My allegedly for the week is the Jonas Brothers have a new album coming out, and it's going to be an emo-inspired album. Wait, what? Yep. Emo-inspired. That's how you post about this. Did they call you for inspo?
Starting point is 00:12:17 Well, here's the thing. They played their new song at one of their shows, and there's like a snippet of it that's out. So it sounds eerily similar to Taxi by the Main. Like, you could layer them on top of each other, and it's pretty identical. Wait, let's do it. We're going to do it. Do you have the snippet?
Starting point is 00:12:34 I don't have it. I'd have to look it up. But the Main needs to open for them. Well, I know. But they also, like, all— But they love them, right? Didn't they like that other song, and they were, like, pretty— No, they love the Main.
Starting point is 00:12:45 They've, like, talked about them before, but they also love everybody. Like, in the lyrics to this song, they talk about taking back Sunday. like it's very like overtly emo. It's that thing of when you're in a boy band and you just want to be in a real band so bad. Yeah. You know what I mean? But they can do it so good. I mean, the Jonas Brothers are literally flawless in my opinion, and they can make it sound so poppy and emo at the same time. But it was funny because every time it pops up on my TikTok, I go to the comments and like there's always a comment where they're like, this sounds a lot like the Mains taxi. And then like there's comments being like, I hope John wrote it with them and like blah,
Starting point is 00:13:19 this is good this is good you know what how much does it sound because chris knight has been in many a uh custody battle over song could we suit we just had to put i saw that on her song do we get a little bit of she seems like a psyop to me there's something i had same i had this feeling when that happened that i'm like well obviously okay listen this is my i think well Number one, her dad is a billionaire. He started Groupon. So she's a nepo baby. She's a nepo baby.
Starting point is 00:13:51 She's talented. I think her voice is really great. But I do think it's very suspicious that now is when she's really popping off in the age of like being able to make legit music on AI. And she's a quote songwriter. And this is nothing proven. There's literally nothing in this.
Starting point is 00:14:08 This is just my instinct. And I think it's interesting that also So she, it seems to have found, seems to have been very effortless in her willingness to give Noah Kahn the co-writing on that song that sounded so much like his that she wrote. Well, because it doesn't matter because her dad's a billionaire and then now she can have the fame and the success from the song and there's no like skin off her back because her dad just pulls it out of his ass. Yeah, it's, it's really...
Starting point is 00:14:39 Please pause, here's the song. Okay. So then, so literally it's the same, same exact melody. And then also under the comments of a lot of these posts, there's a lot of people being like, this sounds like Black Dog by Taylor Swift, which was a song. In a black dog, when you see me. okay here's what chris do your job for the main place it sounds honestly it sounds like it would be huge it's like very emo-y yeah because it sounds like taxi and that's a great song i mean the amount of times i've heard kelty sing the taxi chorus yeah just out of nowhere yeah
Starting point is 00:15:29 wow wow yeah i feel like we're in a generation or we're we're moving into a heavy heavy heavy nepo generation there's kaya gerber who's blowing up there's stella lefty there's somebody else was also really recently anyways i feel like it's very it's out there well it's like there was like a time where it was like shameful to be a nepo baby and they like pretended to be ashamed about it but now i think it's the tides have turned and it's more of a shameless thing where it's like well yeah I will have my dad pay 50 million dollars to get my song on the radio or whatever it is yeah but at the end of the day that's like you can buy anything you know what I mean the only thing you cannot buy is people to come to your shows that's like you can buy streams
Starting point is 00:16:23 you can buy books you can buy out the jewelry line and make it look sold out whatever but if you do a show, there are no humans. The bodies are not there. And speaking of Groupon, it's very interesting to look on Groupon and see who's doing two-for-one tickets at their shows. Kelty Knight. Kelty Knight. Oh, you're saying that from personal experience. Four-for-one. Four-for-one tickets. Just buy one and you can have 100 seats. You're like, I'll pay you. Is Groupon still active? It's still a thing? Yeah, I literally just saw one for a concert like last week. cool what concert i don't remember oh when it comes to your health and your body we're all on our own journey so if you're curious about weight loss then let's talk about weight loss

Okay, I want to just move on to something that is important to me, which is the show that Becca and I will never be on, Dancing with the stars um julia styles is doing dancing with the stars which is a recession indicator if i've ever seen one in my life this dancing with the stars lineup is the biggest recession indicator it is
Starting point is 00:20:40 it really is like there are no jobs in hollywood and we've known this for a couple years it's been like like yeah if you're nicole kidman you're fine but like for that upper mid-level person who is famous enough to get on Dancing with the Stars. Still a household name. A household name. A household name. But like Julia Stiles, I bet she's being beat out by Carrie Coon
Starting point is 00:21:06 and Short, the Bob that we love who's married to the guy from Netflix. Molly Sim- Not Molly Sims. No, it's not Molly Sims. Oh, I know who you're talking about. You know, the cunty Bob from White Lotus. Like she's probably going in for those roles,
Starting point is 00:21:22 I would assume. and she's getting beat out for them. And she's like, well, I guess I'm going to do Dancing with the Stars. I think it's iconic because it really is like the Dancing with the Stars to more success in your career pipeline
Starting point is 00:21:36 is hot right now. Yeah. But it's wild. It's Jenna Dewan, which again, we're going to fight about professional dancers, which I think they should be allowed. Me too.
Starting point is 00:21:45 But it's Jenna Dewan, your friend, Harry Shum, also a professional dancer. And... Oh, really? Whitney Lovett's husband, which I love. I don't understand. Is he popular?
Starting point is 00:21:59 Yeah. I mean, he's made his own, like, name for himself, like, alongside her. I love it. I love him. She's on the cover of People magazine. You know, and honestly, I was thinking about Jessie last night because when we were at Lady World, I was giving Jessie advice and I was like, if you let me, I can make you a star.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Yeah. You know, she didn't take my advice. No, because she's dating Marciano. I tried to call the paparazzi on her once, and she didn't return the text and tell them where she was. Really? Yeah. Yeah, she didn't want to play the game the way that I wanted her to play the game, and now she's not on. You know, I love Jessie.
Starting point is 00:22:32 I think she's incredible. But, like, the most ruthless girl always wins, and that is Whitney. That's true. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's so, yeah, for sure. But she's, like, a different type of, I mean, she is, like, talented in, yeah, the way that other ways. You need to be talented to make it. yeah in the arts so her husband is gonna be on dancing the stars now that's so weird i think
Starting point is 00:22:53 that's stupid i like it but i also do not watch the show if this is a recession can you please make some room for people who like already had a career in this and are trying we're on our life boats right now like i'm on the women and children lifeboat from the titanic i'm making my way to sure. And I may be on that door at one point. And Whitney's husband is getting the handout. He's getting lifted up onto that. Yeah, I forgot. You guys, Jenna Dewan is on two series. I know. What else is she on? Why is she doing this? I think here's my here's my assumption, because Jenna's not able to even though she's on TV shows, she's not dancing on them. And it would be the same thing for me aside from like even though I do need it with every fiber of my being
Starting point is 00:23:44 I still even if I didn't need it the idea of being able to dance every day again it's so fun yeah like putting on the outfits and rehearsing and getting flexible again and like you know working on your making sure your neck doesn't go out like those are fun things to think about as a person who used to dance she used to dance every day of her life for hours on end And like her daughter, I bet you it's so exciting for her daughter at this age to like be able to watch her mom. I think a lot of moms do jobs now for their kids, like to be able to watch, you know, certain things. I'm excited to see her dance. I like when professionals are on because it's exciting.
Starting point is 00:24:24 It's way better than watching Whitney's husband dance. I have not seen it happen. I'm assuming it's nothing to write home about. OK, well, I think it'll be great. And also, Harry is a really good dancer, as you're saying. He's incredible. Wait, so then how did he get on the show? Has he been doing other things?
Starting point is 00:24:39 He's been on Grey's Anatomy for the past several seasons. But, like, again, he probably just really misses dancing every day. Yeah. And it's so fun now. And also, it doesn't always go great for the professionals. Like, remember when Heather Morris was on? She got kicked off right away. Yeah, but I think that that was old school Dance with the Stars.
Starting point is 00:24:57 No, no, that she was pre this version. Mm-hmm. but they yeah she got kicked off pretty early and even though she was like a backup dancer for Beyonce like she should have gone all the way okay my last topic is Kacey Musgraves has maybe the greatest thing that's ever happened at a concert she comes down on a giant set of disco scrotum yeah it's pretty iconic and people were like oh my god did she not know bitch she knew She knows exactly what she did. She sat in a creative meeting and said, make me some jangly ass balls where one, the front one is a little bigger than the back one,
Starting point is 00:25:35 just like a real set of turds and nurdles. Well, it like makes sense for her brand, I think. Like, I don't think it's that off center for her to do for people to be like, what? It's not Taylor Swift. No, it's so good. I love her. Is she single? I don't know. She was married when she won her Grammy, but I think they broke up. She dated that Rustin Kelly guy. Do you know? I was going to say, did you see what her and Kendall Jenner did? So Kendall Jenner posted a picture of her. I think she was in New York, like on a rooftop somewhere. And there was a Kacey Musgraves poster behind her and she like blurred her out. Like she blurred the poster out. So then Kacey posted the same picture, but then blurred Kendall Jenner out. And I'm like, this is the response that you have
Starting point is 00:26:22 to something like that. That's their response. Yeah. Do you know who, I think maybe because they remind me of each other, this is why I'm thinking of it, but Dua Lipa's husband
Starting point is 00:26:30 is so f***ing hot. Oh, Calum Turner. Calum Turner? Yes. Yeah. I mean, she's so f***ing hot. Well, yeah, she is. But I think
Starting point is 00:26:39 when girls marry, when stars like that marry like pseudo-normies, the normies are usually, I don't know. He's an actor. Oh. Is he?
Starting point is 00:26:52 Mm-hmm. He's in a show right now. I'll tell you which one. Oh, see, I didn't know he was an actor. I take it back then. I thought he was like a finance guy. It's, see, this changes everything. Never mind. He was in Fantastic Beasts, but he's in something new. He's British. Oh, yeah. Oh, Possession. He is? He's going to be in the new one.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Oh, wait, I was thinking of Possession. Never mind. He's in One Night Only, which is, like, a very sexy rom-com-y show. Yeah. I mean, he's hot. He's hot. Yeah, he's hot. He's hot. But he's kind of a breakout star right now.
Starting point is 00:27:28 But he's very hot. But I loved, there was, like, this video of them on the red carpet. And she's, like, do a f***ing lipa. And he's, like, doing his red carpet. She went to the premiere of his thing. And then she, like, looks at him. And he's, like, kind of, like, come here. And she's, like, can I?
Starting point is 00:27:42 And I was, like, ooh, she's asking for permission to walk the carpet. it like oh like you know yeah like she still is like put in her place by her man yeah we just want to be bossed around because like that's what it would take like you you can't have a man when you're Dua Lipa that's gonna walk all over you like he's still gotta have Riz yeah I guess he's got Riz yeah he's got a good vibe or he's like got a he's got little man syndrome with like a tiny penis and he's like don't steal my thunder don't steal my thunder no I know he's tall tall tall tall tall no but I mean like little man's well like because he's got a little little job compared to her and he's like don't come on the carpet and bite you yeah like
Starting point is 00:28:24 did they get the end of the night and was he like I told you I didn't want you to stand next to me on the red carpet like and then you just had to do it just steal my thunder you never know you don't I assume every man is a monster so I mean they are yeah here at lady game we are so thankful to our partner Macy's they allow us to bring this podcast to you for free every single week and it is officially fall wedding season but first I want to show you something I am actually wearing my Macy's um overalls today these are free people and I got them at Macy's cute aren't they so cute they're like I need those for painting they're kind of they look like your painting ones they were they're so cute and I love free people but free people a store is too overwhelming for me
Starting point is 00:29:05 and what I love about Macy's is you go online and they like it's curated it's like not the whole collection of free people. It's like the best stuff. Anyway, fall wedding season, Becca, as someone who wore a short dress to a black tie wedding, what should I be wearing? Oh my God. Okay. So fall tends to lean more towards more formal attire for weddings because a gown in the middle of summer, that's 110 degrees, just feels not chic. But when it's getting cooler, that's often what the brides are asking for. My mom got invited to a wedding in Atlanta, black tie. They asked for long gowns, which is what's appropriate. And she had nothing as we never do. I went to her with Macy's in store. There were at least three MVP dresses,
Starting point is 00:29:45 all under $300, like averaging at $200, $250. She picked this one out that literally looks like she, I'm showing you guys on the computer. It is a one shoulder. It has this like bow kind of long cape detail in the back. She looked like she went to freaking Dolce and Gabbana to get dressed and she got dressed for $250 at Macy's. That's so cute. I love it. It's a black one shoulder. Like a bow detail with a long. Where's the bow? On the back? It's in the back, on the one shoulder on the back. And then like the long, not the loop of the bow, but the tail of the bow was really, really long in the back. So it added this like dramatic detail, which for fall weddings, I really love a dramatic detail on a really simple silhouette or in a good
Starting point is 00:30:32 color, like a Navy, a chocolate Brown, a black, like these are all such rich. And literally Macy's was covered in options. Like I want to be invited to something because I saw something in Navy blue that I just can't live without. And I might just buy it and wait and manifest to be invited. You're not going anywhere. You don't need that dress. You don't need that dress. Thank you so much. You're going to use your, I know they're so good. You're going to use your Macy's when your dollars at Macy's for Ford and baby. Yeah, I know. I know baby kid clothes, but I can have a little fun. I'm very sorry. And then also I do love an accessory. And I have a question for you, uh, back. I was actually just thinking, sorry, Jack, I'm not asking you. Um,
Starting point is 00:31:11 so your mom, she's wearing the black dress. What do we do for an accessory? That's cool. I'm confused a little bit about a wedding accessory because I have my daily wear jewelry that I wear all the time. But then when I want to get dressed up, I want to go red carpet and wear like a big sparkly earring or something ridiculous. But then I see that the statement necklace is back. I don't know what to do. I think it depends on the dress and I think it depends how you're going to be wearing your hair. I think if you are always a hair down wearer in front of your ears, then don't overthink the earring because that's just a waste of real estate and money. The statement necklace is back. However, I think you have to really have the proper neckline. So maybe like a strapless
Starting point is 00:31:53 situation or a very thin strap but not to overpower the look in general you know my mom did a really simple because silver is so big she did a metallic silver shoe a silver clutch and then these drop earrings which were silver and like diamond and it was really chic and beautiful but the dress was so dramatic that she just did simple jewelry yeah but I well you can do your red carpet chunky big earring. Like I think now we're a little bit more accepting and forgiving of expressing yourself however you want, not just what's on trend. You know what I mean? Yeah. She sighs. That makes me happy. No, I'm excited. You know, I'm like, oh, big jewelry's back. I'm going to put on all of it. It reminds me of when I was in Ibiza with Rachel Zoe and she would like
Starting point is 00:32:40 come to the beach club and she'd have like 900 pieces of jewelry on. And I was like, babe, you're going to drown. Like you're going to go in the water and we're not going to pull you out. even though you weigh like water no she doesn't this is anyway okay um anyway shop the looks to code the dress code no matter what the dress code is macy's has everything you need to nail the perfect head-to-toe look visit macy's.com for your complete guide to all things fall wedding dressing they actually have like a little page there and you can shop macy's.com or in store today this episode of lady gang is brought to you by amazon music so here's the deal we know you like to listen to stuff you listen to podcasts you listen to music and you love an audiobook

Starting point is 00:34:04 On this podcast, I did I mention, I think I mentioned, yes, I mentioned that there was a celebrity that hated me from four years ago today is the day that the flowers and the apology are being sent to their house oh my god i'm scared i hate that you're doing this i know i do too but i really you know what i'm all about a clean slate though you know what i keep my i'm taylor swift i keep my side of the street clean i feel keeping your side clean that's going over to their side been cleaning their side. Yeah. You didn't do anything, but I'm not, I'm apologizing for the way I'm apologizing. I want to apologize. I feel bad about it. I'm apologizing, but what will happen? This is, this is now probably nothing. Nothing's going to happen. I still have so much
Starting point is 00:34:53 rage toward the mutual friend you guys are mutual connection. You have the old agent of yours. I I have a lot of rage in my soul. Let me ask you something. If someone did something to you four years ago. Number one, you didn't do anything to them. Probably forgotten. You've probably forgotten. And flowers showed up at your house.
Starting point is 00:35:11 I went very back and forth between flowers at the house and an email through the publicist. And I, Chris was like, email through the publicist. And I was like, no, I feel like it needs to be handwritten. I don't want it to be like via chat GPT. And I don't want it to like be passed around from people. You know what I mean? Like, I don't want it to be a thing. So he was like, but it's creepy to know.
Starting point is 00:35:34 This is way more of a thing than an email. To know her address. Know her address. And then I had a lot of conversations with a lot of people. And they were like, it's way harder to get a celebrity's email address than it is to get their address. But you were going to email the PR person. To get her email. To get their email.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Oh, oh, I see. I see. So anyway, well, anyway, they're on their way. The flowers, I did a nice letter. What did you say in the letter? Sorry for doing nothing. I said, Hey, I've always ridden really hard for you. I'm feeling really bad about this. I was alerted that something happened a bunch of years ago. You probably don't remember, but I want to tell you that how I meant it and my intention. And I've always like,
Starting point is 00:36:18 you know, really enjoyed being a part of your ride and like, you know, remember meeting you. and how long was this letter just a page i was like i hope you forgive me and i i would love to see you in person i haven't been on carpets much because i've been at the desk at e-news like and i hope i can apologize in person one day and you know i'm really sorry that's it i hope what happens here is that she gets this and is like what the who told her and then she finds out that it was your agent and she fires her and she fires her that's not gonna happen and it's fine I'm over it like I'm over it I'm my street is clean I'm auditioning I'm just so mad I'm just so mad I'm so mad like I really hope I run into your old agent like it makes me furious that it was affecting
Starting point is 00:37:11 her job she was doing for you was something so absolutely ridiculously benign but because she makes so much money off of this other client she had like a housewives alliance with this other client chris would do the same thing guys like but you chris would not throw so he wouldn't throw somebody else on the bus for that chris would not ever do that he would a the offense was like nothing if you had done something horrible yeah maybe but chris has integrity chris would have either done one of two things. He would have gone to the person, his client that got offended, and he would have tried to figure out a way to like get to the bottom of their upset. And if their upset was legitimate, then he could go to the other client and just be like, I think we
Starting point is 00:37:56 should go our separate ways. He doesn't need to say why. Your agent never needed to like rat this person out and be like, she's petty and annoying and I can't do a good job for you. Also, sorry. Sorry. Also, it's like that's revealing too much about the other person to you, too. Yeah, I would think that's why I'm hoping that the person who receives the flowers is like so horrified that that information was even shared because she's she should be embarrassed for how upset she got about it. Yes. The agent should have just done what she should what she should have dropped me had integrity and dropped you or sent you or excuse or passed you on to somebody else been like, Hey, I'm making a connection. I don't have the bandwidth right
Starting point is 00:38:37 now. I'm connecting you with this person. They're wonderful. They're amazing. It's been so great. I, I loved working with you have the best, but go yourself. You petty little bitch. Yeah. I hate her. Yeah. Maybe this is my coconut cream matcha talking, but I think it's your coconut cream matcha. No, I hate people who lack integrity. I hate it. That's your livelihood. That's your career I know but that's another the narcissism is so gross yeah no it's hard but listen I feel like I'm doing the right thing maybe herpes of the soul oh herpes of the soul it's not doing the right thing you're being forced to do something that you shouldn't have to do because there's a power dynamic if it was going the other way you would have never even thought to do this
Starting point is 00:39:27 it's well you know what but again it's on me I didn't have to send the flowers and apologize I could have been like into doing it I did not no one guilted me everyone said don't do anything Justin Sylvester was like do not touch this they probably don't remember but like my own soul is like I I feel like there's so many people out there that hate me that I it's very them theory I'm not going to let them. I'm not going to let them. But you know what? Can we make an agreement right now?
Starting point is 00:39:57 Can we make a deal right now? Yeah. I don't know if you'll be able to do this for your career, but it'd be really good for book sales. I, if the person who receives the flowers never reaches out or does anything about it, we're naming names. Because you are a bad person
Starting point is 00:40:13 if you receive something so incredibly earnest about something that was so incredibly benign. If somebody tries to do the right thing, And you just either A, are still pissed, that says a lot about you, or B, are like too, like, ugh, I'm not bothering with this person. She's not important in my life. Like, if that person does not make an acknowledgement, you should consider naming names. How many people do you think in Hollywood hate me? Ratio?
Starting point is 00:40:47 Hate? Out of 100 celebrities. Ex-nemesis, that's it. One? not she's not a celebrity what about what's her name Julia Roberts she doesn't hate her yeah that's what I'm saying like there are people that are like oh fucking Kelty like the other day I was talking to this publicist getting ready for the Emmys sorry and um she would I was like oh blah blah blah and she goes no I remember when I first met you you walked up to me and you were talking
Starting point is 00:41:12 about something and we knew each other because Chris had a client with her and I was like a baby reporter and I was like honestly I'm too big to be here I shouldn't be here right now and she's like who the says that like out loud and she was like only you kelty like i do think there's people that really that's not a reason nobody hates you for that they're just like this lady is a bad person yeah no i'm absolutely obnoxious i don't think i'm a bad person i just think that i do not think before i speak text type right yeah period can we describe for people i'm sure they're screaming at us can we not just i will say the example of what you did can i just say that if If anybody is wondering, go to our Facebook group because people have guessed it correctly in there.
Starting point is 00:41:56 No way. Yeah. I want this to be over. Thank you so much for coming to our podcast. We love you so much. And I can't wait for the main to get all that Jonas Brothers money. Oh, my God. I wish.
