LadyGang - Allegedly Wassa Happening: Unwell Summer

Episode Date: April 7, 2026

Keltie is in the middle of contract negotiations with E! and might just pitch them the show of the century — or become a trad wife. Jac can't stop getting pedicures with invisible pinky toe...s. And Becca has receipts on Keltie's increasingly bold posts about a certain podcast queen. Then the gang dives deep into the Summer House bombshell: Amanda and West's joint statement, a suspicious June 5th Instagram caption, and what MGK's "My Ex's Best Friend" has to do with all of it. Plus: Alex Cooper's Unwell Winter Games lands on YouTube instead of Hulu — and nobody thinks that was the plan. Finally, Jen Shaw walks out of prison and straight into a news cycle that doesn't care.LadyGang is sponsored by BetterHelp! Starting point is 00:00:00 well what is this welcome to the lady gang that's amazing say that again the lady gang things are about to change around here each week we catch up with hollywood's hottest girl posse kelty knight becca tobin and jack vanik hello hello hello welcome to lady gang i'm becca tobin here with jack vanik and kelty knight hello hey hello oh somebody's excited i'm just so happy to see you guys love you so much no this do you know what's happening right now what what Kelty just got off of a call um about like some sort of deal you know like a you know a brand deal or something you don't have to say what it is but um it's like when and then you're in such a good mood now it's like when I was in rehearsals for Rock of Ages and I was sitting next to my friend Erica
Starting point is 00:00:53 and then on her other side is this girl Catherine and we got up to break during like a music rehearsal and she came back she was like texting and then she came back and she was like hey guys I'm just I'm so happy to be here and we're and Erica goes were you just texting with a boy she's like I was yep I knew it I knew it I knew it oh my god that's so funny he texted me back he texted me back um no I was uh while I was urinating and also on the phone with my lawyer Carolyn and I um you know I probably shouldn't say this while I'm in negotiations but I did get asked to spend another year at e oh which is so interesting it's so weird because e is canceled but then also they're doing all this red carpet stuff and i did actually pitch them a really good
Starting point is 00:01:40 show um like two weeks ago that maybe they'll make for linear or digital i don't know and so anyway so carolyn's now like negotiating what that deal looks like kind of show no it was i mean i'll just tell you um it's called uh and they should pick it up because it's brilliant it's called the e2 style story and basically it would be like you know there's like a vogue life and looks or like those things where they have stars sit down and interview and they look through all their old red carpets what would be like kind of like a hot ones except that it would be an interview with me but i would be showing them all the vault footage of their career at e so it would be like sitting down with Zendaya and being like here's the first time you talked to us and like through the lens
Starting point is 00:02:25 of fashion but it's like really an interview series and because we have like this insane vault like if you think about these shows like pre-cell phone like pre we were the only ones that were there that have footage like no one was in that day and age traveling around with like their own camera crew like they do now you know it just wasn't possible so and then all those like Joan Rivers moments. Like, yeah, I think it'd be really cool. So anyway, Lady Gang, please don't clip this and put this on the Internet because obviously I'm in contract negotiations. But they were like, we want you to do more red carpet. And then I am just like, but am I going to be the main bitch? Like, I literally am being such a cunt. Not a cunt. I just I don't care. Like,
Starting point is 00:03:07 I'm not interviewing from the parking lot again. That was awkward, you know, and the Lady Gang showed up on social media. They're like, why are you standing on the street? Like, I'm like, OK, Like I, I get it. Like I'm in a gown and I'm in the parking lot. Like, so I, like, I love the job and I love the work, but I also love myself. And I know at this point in my career where I belong and I'm not afraid to ask for it, which is wild. Yeah. Anyway, why don't you just ask for more money and then you maybe just get more money and don't have to work so hard. So that's exactly what Carolyn was just saying. She goes, she was just saying to the business guy, like she would love more money, but like she'll take less money if you like the worst thing that could be is like
Starting point is 00:03:50 you sign her to this deal and then you don't use her in the way. Yeah. Oh, like, no, I think that's the dream. It's to work harder, not work smarter, not harder. But for you, for more for you, like to me, I'm still really passionate about this work and I want to be working. So like I know that I could yes, I could sign a deal for another year and get paid and sit on my ass and not do anything. But then in a year, no one's going to want me to do any work. You know what I mean? You need to be relevant. Kind of in this job, you need to be like part of the party.
Starting point is 00:04:24 So, you know, I think. We'll see, though. I might just become a trad wife. Not sure. Anyway, what's it time for? Good week, bad week. It's time for... Good week.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Yes, it is. Bad week. Oh, no. I'll go first. Um, my good week is more of a question and it's something that I saw on TikTok. There was a TikTok that went viral about a girl at a doctor's office and she's sitting on, you know, when you go into like the little room and then there's like the table with the paper and then there's always like a side seat.
Starting point is 00:04:57 She's like on the table with the paper and she's like, I have a question for everybody. Where do you sit when you go into a doctor's office? and the internet was completely divided because half the people were like, I sit up on the table like a little kid with the paper. And then the other half was like, I sit in the side chair because I want to be like at level with the doctor. And I'm like, I have done both and I don't know what side I'm on there. And there's no reason why I do either or, but like some people are very, very adamant about their choice in the doctor's office. I'm not sitting up on the paper in my street clothes that's not sanitary you have to sit in the side you sit in the side chair and
Starting point is 00:05:40 then he says okay put this gown on and then you sit your naked ass on the paper I don't want my dirty ass jean to be on the paper and then I get naked and then I I only sit on the table if I'm directed to sit on the table when it's like that type of thing where I know that I'm gonna be yeah see I sometimes sit on the table in your street clothes yes and sometimes I just stay there because usually I feel like the tables for like the gynecologist like that's usually if they're doing like a pap or like you're talking about like at the urgent care sometimes I do I'm not getting on that paper unless I have to get on the paper I mean the paper is the paper is to make it sanitary it's not like you're sitting in somebody else's filth but it's not
Starting point is 00:06:23 someone else's filth but it's my dirty jean filth you have you seen my car yes no I know how dirty those jeans can get but I am interested with the lady gang on what you do because it was totally divided and everybody's like I've never thought about doing the other thing before but like interesting here I am and I don't know um my bad week is simple um I went to get a pedicure and the lady didn't paint either of my pinky toenails again yet wait did I talk about this before it happened again yes because you have a little slit you have a sliver full nail I have a full nail how many millimeters what color were you painting them black that's a full nail that is so weird you just you not look down and say can you paint my other toe no i'm not looking at my toes and
Starting point is 00:07:13 then what do you mean at least at the end you finish at the end and you look down you say great job they look great and you don't notice that there's no toenail didn't notice didn't notice. Well, that's your fault, Jack. This is your fault. That's on you. I know. You need to do your own quality control. I really do. And I didn't notice until it's too late. And I'm like, I'm not, where am I going showing my toes these days, I guess. So I'm just riding along until next time, but I need to pay attention next time. Yeah. I don't. You do. Do you think she was offended by your toe ring and she's like, I'm going to stick it to her? Yeah. She's like one less toe per toe ring. You know, I keep forgetting I even have the toe ring. It's just part of me
Starting point is 00:07:53 now, unfortunately for you, Becca. Oh, God. Sorry. I remember the days. I know. Rebecca? Oh, do you want me to go? Sure. Okay. So my good week, bad week is that, as you guys know, a few weeks ago, if you haven't listened, I had my identity stolen by being catfished into thinking I was doing a live stream with Emma Greed and I wasn't. And so yesterday I got a new email to my assistant email from the podcast Hot Smart Rich. Have you heard of this podcast? No. She's she's part of like the diary of a CEO's umbrella. And then she has this show that I follow called Hot Smart Rich. And it's like it's a big show. It's really good. And I am so scared now that like I read the email and I was like all the fonts are the same size seems very professional I looked at
Starting point is 00:08:50 the email address and it was actually like at flight school which is like his company and I was like that would be hard to like it wasn't like heart smart rich at gmail.com I was like this must be real so I did the thing where I replied to it and I said and I'm just like so messy now I said is this real because I got scammed last week that's all that is such an old lady thing to write Now, they're going to think you're scamming them because they're going to say there's no way this woman would be writing this professional in all lower caps. The A.I. Gemini did not help at all. So then they wrote back and they they replied and they added two more people. And I went on LinkedIn and Googled their names and they're like head of development at flight school, former CEO of Nike, like really crazy shit. And I was like, wow, I'm really embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:09:42 And they're like, no, we're real. And we actually don't want to have you on anymore. And they're like, can we call you to discuss? And I was like, well, now I'm scared to get on the phone with anyone. You're like, I've done this before. I've done this. Anyway, see you when I see you. And so my good week is, oh, and then I have, sorry, that's my bad week.
Starting point is 00:10:03 My good week is my parents are coming to visit me on the 10th. So I have like one more week to wait. And I'm so excited. I can't remember the last time they were even together at my house and I'm planning all the meals and we're going to lay by the pool and I just can't wait. And I started knitting again. And so me and my mom are going to knit and I just, I'm going to be like, Jack, I'm just going to be spending 24 seven with my parents. I can't wait. Cute. I love this for you. That's very, very funny. That actually reminds me of, you know, I love Bitch Sesh, the podcast with Casey Wilson
Starting point is 00:10:35 and Daniel Schneider. They did a live and I know we're going to touch on this. We're going to talk about the Summer House drama. And Casey mentioned in the live, she like, what's it called? Oh, my God, I can't find my words. Anyways, they did something. They had like a town hall meeting. It wasn't a podcast. They were like, we have to meet when the news broke. We've got to get on and discuss it. Yeah. And she said that June Diane Rayfield, who was actually on our podcast a couple of years ago, is a friend of Casey's. And she goes, I never liked Amanda. Casey's like, oh, really? She goes, yeah, she's too close with her parents. Wow. Rude. And I said, Jack, Jack's going to be very sad. I am nothing like Amanda, I will say. No, you're not. No,
Starting point is 00:11:19 you're not. I don't think that's the reason why. No, no, no. She's done the thing she's done. She doesn't trust anyone. Okay. So my good week and bad week is kind of a combo because on a base level it was good because it really gave me a chuckle but Kelty you've been you've gotten so bold on what's the is it x is that the one that's attached to Instagram threads threads I can't believe you use threads you and only you no thread is huge it is I only see it when I'm scrolling regular Instagram and I love threads really it's like Twitter it's like it's perfect for us because I don't want to show you any more pictures of my life. I have nothing to give. What do you talk about on there? I am part of the drag race community. I'll tell you.
Starting point is 00:12:07 So she has not been shy about lately. She's been really breadcrumbing the Lady Gang audience about disliking a certain person in Hollywood. And I was on threads and I sent this to Jack. I was like, this is getting reckless and i love it yep more of this so someone this actually might have been just name the name everybody knows now alex cooper schmallick schmooper um and somebody said this person casting dakota in her new show makes me think her entire platform and brand of supporting women is just for show and then underneath it it says kelty 100 but with like 8 million zeros percent not a girl's girl. I mean, where's the lie? Allegedly, where's the lie? Can we talk about that now? Because we do need to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:13:03 We're not. This is what you lady gang on our sub stack. We're like, what do you want? And they're like, we just want you to talk. And I'm like, well, you're welcome. You're going to regret that quickly. Yeah. OK. OK. So the TLDR. Wait, did you have a was that your good week, bad week? do you have anything else it's only bad because i'm like nervous for us us whatever okay well we're gonna be invited on color daddy i'm sure no just i don't know i i i don't know there seems to be some vindictive people in the camp you know well whatever yeah but i know too many secrets yeah like i would sit i would i i know too many secrets i know too many horrible secrets we are going to talk about this and and i don't disagree with i think
Starting point is 00:13:54 that this is the final straw for me was actually casting that piece of shit in a show now back to the lady gang okay so let me give the tldr for anybody and also sorry jack before you do this because you are doing this. One of the notes we got on Substack, we'd love to take a note, is that when we talk about pop culture, some people are very busy and they don't know the story. And so we need to explain it more. So Jack is now investigative journalist, Jack Vanek. This was actually a note that I was going to have for us. So this is great. Okay. Ready. Okay. So the TLDR with this situation, Alex Cooper obviously has her unwell network. They
Starting point is 00:14:31 just put out a show called Love Overboard. That's on Hulu. It's like a dating show. I watched it. it's whatever. So then she has, as the show is airing, they had been teasing that show for a long time. Okay. It's like been a whole thing. And then last week out of nowhere, she posts new show. Here's the lineup of characters. It's called Unwell Winter Games. It was filmed in, I think Whistler in January and it's coming out like next week, which is weird. Cause usually you have a big ramp up for a show, right? Like usually there's like weeks and weeks of press, whatever the graphic graphic they put with it looked like it was made as shitty shittily in canva of all the people on it and the fact that it's airing next week it's also airing on youtube
Starting point is 00:15:14 which maybe culty can talk about what that choice would have been on youtube and um there was immediate backlash because the whole thing is all of the people on the show are all kind of villains but there's already a show called house of villains that has a bunch of villains on it but They're like funny villains like Tom Sandoval and like I Love New York and, you know, and Christine from Selling Sunset. Like they're fun villains. This is kind of like harmless villains, entertaining villains. Now, this is kind of like shitty people, you know, that like you don't like none of them are that entertaining. They're all like assholes.
Starting point is 00:15:53 And of course, the main person that everybody has an issue with is Dakota. Taylor Frankie Paul's ex is the main like person cast on this show. Now, it is getting a lot of backlash, rightfully so. You know, and this goes further into the talk about like why The Bachelorette got canceled. And my thoughts about that is obviously I don't condone anything that Taylor Frankie Paul did. But if we're going to cancel The Bachelorette for the things that she has done, we should be canceling a lot of other things that men are in. Like the whole NFL at this point should be canceled. many many actors should be canceled why do we plan chris brown why the this chris brown is my
Starting point is 00:16:33 number one like why the does chris brown still have a career he beat rihanna to a pulp and there's pictures of it and he's still just like thriving like nothing happened all of these shitty men in music in sports and whatever again colton was cast to be on the traitors after all of his shit that happened with cassie randolph and her getting a restraining order against him and stalking her. He gets platformed, yet Taylor Frankie Paul gets canceled. And now the fact that Dakota should have been if we want to be fair, but we're not being fair. No, I know. But I'm saying like on a moral on a moral standpoint, all these people should just be canceled, but not canceled, but not given the platform. Yeah. But unfortunately, that doesn't happen
Starting point is 00:17:14 to men ever. Like men completely get away with their behavior. Men get rewarded for their behavior. And that's exactly what's happening with Dakota right now on these unwell games. is he's being rewarded for his horrendous behavior as well. And he's also going to be on Vanderpump Villa. There's like all this shit. So I completely agree with the backlash. And it's coming from, you know, Alex Cooper always presents herself
Starting point is 00:17:36 as this certain type of person. And it just is kind of going against all that she allegedly stands for. So I think it's up. And I think that the backlash is justified. And that's your TLDR. Yeah. The TLDR is great.
Starting point is 00:17:53 I don't like, um, I think every, everything's gone too far, like exploited it. Everything is so exploitative for ratings and it's a real bummer. First of all, the fact that Taylor Frankie Paul was ever slated to be the bachelorette, even without this video having come out or being seen allegedly is bullshit. Like Rachel Lindsay was on her podcast saying as a black woman, the way I had to be so perfect to become the bachelorette, I couldn't have anything on my, you know, social record, any, anything at all controversial. I had to be the perfect standup woman, citizen, friend, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then you give this train wreck of a person who's not an eligible bachelorette, the platform to the nation
Starting point is 00:18:50 is bullshit. And that's the difference of what has changed in media. And it's also our fault for watching these videos all the time. It's our fault for going on these deep dives because networks are just trying to make money. Alex Cooper knows that right now, if she puts this show out, it's going to get crazy numbers because everybody is just working for the bottom line. And we're the ones on TikTok feeding the beast. Well, the problem is with the Bachelorette thing is that was something that was public knowledge since 2023. And ABC knew. ABC works with Hulu. She never should have been. It was literally on the first episode of the first season of Mormon Wives. It was very transparent, everything that was going on. So it's like, where really is the
Starting point is 00:19:32 blame here? Like, to me, it's like completely the network. And then it's like now they're trying to backpedal and blame other people where it's like they knew what they're getting themselves into uh that's obviously a very layered subject but i guess with the unwell thing it's just like it's so misogynistic it's so hypocritical and again it's like rewarding men for behavior that you like like cancel women for not to bring oprah into this but i'm going to tell you something the reason i think the oprah winfrey network never took off is because oprah like sorry i know this is like so random but just no go with me for a second following oprah was like known for doing all these things on oprah show and then she became oprah and she was like holier than god and she's
Starting point is 00:20:16 like helping you live your best life right and then she launched this network and none of it ever took off and i think because she has a soul i think that she did want a through line of like positive. Like, look at the way we like canceled Meghan Markle for wanting to make like sparkle cupcakes as a show. And people are like, what the am I watching? Like, so we as like we as a society, we do hold these women to this very high arch. But at her core, I think what made Alex Cooper really special is like she was that everyday girl, like went to college, wore her sweatpants, wanted to be hot, was trying out spray tans. And then like for some way they like shifted that. But the problem is, is that everything's going to be Alex Cooper presents.
Starting point is 00:20:55 And then she's going to be held accountable as this like woman's empowerment. Oh my God, girly pop on the cover of magazines, like creating space for women in media, except that you're doing it by like making these shitty decisions that like, in my opinion, it's a bunch of men making that decision on behalf of Unwell for Alex, but it's her name on it. So she has to decide like, am I going to be, you know, Oprah or, and everyone's going to respect me and I'm going to like change the world and be this vision of women's empowerment or am I going to be not that, you know what I mean? And am I going to just be the rest of us in show business, just making a dollar? Like, and I don't think you can be both. And I've said it before, the people at the head of all of these companies, like the reason that Lady Gang is not on the same level is like, we do things with a soul.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Like, unfortunately, we didn't want to over everyone, you know what I mean? And so like the people that make it and make these big brands and these big companies like you have to be so ruthless. And I have an idea. I have a pitch. What if so, you know, to be the president of the United States, you have to fall under certain categories like, you know, be a man. Yeah. be a citizen here like you know some sort of like i'm sure you can't have been arrested yeah but like on paper there's things you have to be like any you have to qualify to do this thing right please don't get us killed jack thank you you should even see the shit i say on first degree this is nothing but i'm saying this is just an example like i i'm fine with the harmless drama that we're we're taking in if you want to put somebody on tv that's a that's a hot mess but hasn't harmed anybody who hasn't thrown a barstool with her kid in the room like there's just levels of like can we at least say that we won't put somebody on television that has like been in a
Starting point is 00:22:48 domestic dispute there's plenty of people no i know i know i'm saying both of them neither of them should be on tv anybody that's been in a domestic dispute like should not be allowed to be on television which goes back to my point is many things should be canceled then like we should cancel half of the shit that's on TV, all of the sports games, all of the musicians like to make a line. It's a lot. I'm I'm talking reality. Just a woman. That's I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that. I'm saying reality TV people, people on reality TV, period. Anybody producing a reality television. Can we not just all agree to stop making trash garbage people famous and rich and relevant? But the problem is they make the best reality TV. But there's also a time where we had
Starting point is 00:23:34 people are plenty of people are watching the housewives you know it's like before any of them started to get in legal trouble they were just having fun and being crazy we still like watching people have fun and be crazy look at summer house nobody's doing anything illegal nobody's beating anybody up there's plenty of drama there for us to take in but like that's what i want now i'm so sick of garbage humans being put on tv and like there's no accountability there's we used to have to sign contracts to be on television it's a moral clause that you can't be on a fox tv show if you go have a DUI why on earth can these people now go and be on television make way more money than any of us ever did the other thing I just want to say is that I have a feeling that Hulu passed
Starting point is 00:24:14 on Winter Games I think that they were planning on airing it later but now because of the drama they're capitalizing on the timing and so they just want to slap it on anywhere more right because I believe, and listen, I have no idea. I don't know anything about anything, but I think it feels like Alex has some sort of overall deal with Hulu because when, yes. So I feel like there's an overall deal with Hulu. I feel allegedly based on fact that she has a deal with Hulu because she did the Miley Cyrus thing. Her documentary is on Hulu. The dating show's on Hulu. Like this feels like Hulu's the home. Right. So why would this all of a sudden be on YouTube? So to me, it's like they were like, oh, shit, we got to put this out now. And Hulu said, we are in the weeds between The Bachelorette and Mormon Wives. We cannot have Dakota out there and cancel this. And they were like, OK, well, then you have to give up your rights to it. And we're just going to put on YouTube because they spent all the money on it. It's also spring. OK. Winter Games. It's spring. yeah it it's definitely fishy and that graphic was so bad that I'm like some intro made this
Starting point is 00:25:26 graphic this was never supposed to come out now it was never supposed to come out and we're good like I don't need it so we're fine I'm skipping you're listening to the lady gang tell me about Summer House, Jack. Okay. So in the news of Summer House, it's like, where do I even begin? Should I give like sort of the, I wrote some notes down because I was actually going to do my own deep dive, but I didn't have enough time. So Summer House started in 2017. Season one, Kyle was an original member. There's a couple people that we're going to talk about. Kyle, Amanda, Sierra, West. Kyle was an original cast member of Summer House in 2017. He starts hooking up with Amanda. They're just like casually hooking up. 2018 season two, they start dating
Starting point is 00:26:18 exclusively. She becomes a cast member on Summer House. Then in 2021, I think they get engaged the next year. And then in 2021, they get married. The year that they get engaged, Sierra joins Summer House. So she has been on Summer House since almost the very beginning. A cast member that's very close with everybody, especially Amanda. They were like besties. So Kyle and Amanda get engaged in 2021. The next year, I think West joins the show. Sierra and West like connect immediately. And they have this like on and off relationship where he totally are over. He wants to get back together with her as this like push and pull. She's like very much I don't know if she's ever said she's in love with them, but like it's a very tumultuous relationship where there's
Starting point is 00:27:08 a lot of emotions involved and it's just like one of those things you see one of your friends get into and it's like this is the person that f***s them up forever this is bad news it's the but it's the relationship that like it doesn't matter how long it is even though theirs was long but like that's the one that f***s you up you know really really bad we've all had one of those so they get into this whole thing um season nine which was last year they had kind of like broken things off but now they're together in the summer. And it's just like weird vibes between them. West is kind of like groveling towards Sierra.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Like he wants to get back in her good graces. She's like sort of letting him in. Because again, it's like the guy you can never get over. And then season 10 is the one that's airing right now. It was filmed last summer. And in season 10, Kyle and Amanda are like in a very rocky situation. The married couple.
Starting point is 00:27:58 The married couple. Very, very rocky. His whole thing was like, he's older. He's like in his mid 40s and he was always going out and drinking super late at night, being a total asshole. He would like sleep other places, not what a husband should be doing. And she was always kind of like the victim in their relationship. But she was like taking it. But he was being horrible to her and everybody's like, you should leave him.
Starting point is 00:28:20 And then she never did. She was the Ariana Maddox, if you will. Yeah, exactly. So in January. So basically what's happening in the season that's happening right now, they're having their tumultuous like marriage. Sierra and West are still kind of flirting. He's trying to get back with her. It's this weird energy in the house, but it's still kind of happening. Fast forward to January. Kyle and Amanda make a statement that they're getting a divorce and everybody is like, finally, Amanda,
Starting point is 00:28:56 you got rid of the trash. Like it's like redemption arc. Like everybody's like the only shitty thing about Amanda was Kyle. Like now you can be free and hot and single and do whatever you want. So that's like kind of been her narrative since January. And then now we fast forward to March. In March, there is all of these rumors that are kind of circulating that like Amanda and West might be sort of getting comfy, cozy with each other. Cast members are being interviewed. Kyle was interviewed about it. He's like, I, this would be absurd if this was really true nobody is believing it it's but there's all these weird blind items and now fast forward to last week March 31st Amanda and West put out a joint statement which is bananas saying we this
Starting point is 00:29:44 we that yada yada yada confirming confirming that yes they have been together but the statement is vague it's not like I can pull it up in a second it's not like oh I'm so sorry to my best friend Sierra doesn't even acknowledge Sierra it was basically like we see the rumors and we have to acknowledge this we didn't mean for this to happen what started out as a friendship has now evolved into something else they also did not confirm that they are actually exclusively dating It's more so we're more than friends. Something's going on. So something's going on.
Starting point is 00:30:24 So now that brings us to this week. And it's just like now people, I went back and I'm watching the season again. I'm looking for clues. People are pulling up blind items from last year, trying to figure out when they actually were hooking up. And it's just so f***ed up because it's the ultimate betrayal of your best friend. Amanda and Sierra were best friends. And Sierra was there for Amanda for everything.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And now it's just, it's so, it's so f***ed up. It's like your best friend's hooking up with the one guy that's like the guy. It's like when you date, when you're like an adult and you're like, you know, you can date other people, have dated, but there's the one that's off limits. And West was the one that's off limits for Sierra and her best friend is now f***ing him. Professor Jacqueline, do you think there was crossover? Yes. Do you think there was times that Amanda was with West? Well, so there is a blind item.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Something came out that it did. You know that Crazy Days and Nights, they were kind of like pre-Demois, but they like are blind items that are true, basically. June 5th, 2025. This was before they even started filming Summer House last year. They started filming in July. They posted,
Starting point is 00:31:35 this seasonal house reality star is cheating on her significant other. So I'm like, how many summer house women were in relationships? And then on that very same day, June 5th, Amanda makes a post on Instagram. And it's just a picture of her. And it said, broke my wedding vows as the caption. And the song that was playing, you know, Audrey Hobert, do you know who that is? She's Gracie Abrams' best friend. She's a musician.
Starting point is 00:32:04 she had her song playing that's called sue me and the lyrics in sue me are i've been so careful with you babe but i've been out late and being a saint is exhausting sue me i want to be wanted so those are the lyrics that she's playing over the song she posted that she broke her wedding vows on june 5th of last year why would you do the same day that the crazy days and nights uh blind item was revealed and then west posts the same day june 5th and his song on it is my ex's best friend by MGK. So I mean, listen, read between the lines. But that's only one thing I could find. I didn't have enough time to do a true deep dive. But yeah, so people are speculating when this started. I definitely think something was going on during filming. They're very touchy feely. It's really
Starting point is 00:32:52 weird. And yeah, I just think it's it's so up. All right, Sierra and Dancing with the Stars. So well, Sierra is going to be doing this is the best thing that could have ever happened to Sierra and her career. She's already stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, funny, smart, all the things, total package. Yeah. I mean, she's going to be Roxy Hart on Chicago. She's going to be Dancing with the Stars.
Starting point is 00:33:14 She's going to be every face of everything. It's going to be the best thing she's ever had happen to her. Yeah. I just, I just think it is so crazy to confirm the rumor. Even if you are sleeping together and you're having a really huge lapse in judgment or you're just a shitty person and you're doing this, don't be so dumb. Don't be so short-sighted. Like, this proves to me that West is a master manipulator. Well, and also what was coming out, too, is he had a whole-ass girlfriend over the past year.
Starting point is 00:33:59 that he was seen on St. Patrick's Day in Chicago with. So not, they're not even exclusive. He's still other girls. And she, he's manipulated Amanda enough to make this weird ass statement. It's like, you're not even together. Like, this is so wild. You threw it all away.
Starting point is 00:34:17 Just deny it until you die. Well, it's, I mean, take a page out of Jesse from Mormon Wives book. Like the same kind of thing happened with her and Miranda's husband, ex-husband. And she hasn't made a peep about it. And people are forgetting about it. You know, like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Speaking of peeps, my last topic for today is, do we feel at all bad for Jen Shah that she's getting out of jail and nobody cares? Like, we think about Jen Shah from, she is from Secret Live, or no. Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City Housewives. She's been in jail for three years. She's been in jail for three years for fraud. for scamming old people for scamming old people so she has been sitting in jail with elizabeth
Starting point is 00:35:02 holmes she calls her lizzie just so wild oh my god amazing so they're in jail together the whole time she's like oh my god like when she went into jail it was the story of the century i mean it could not have been bigger so she's in jail and she's thinking oh my god i'm gonna get out of jail she's calling her person with her one phone call being like make sure to arrange my people magazine article. Like I'm coming out. I'm going to tell you all about it. And this is the week that she arrives out of jail. She does an exclusive people sit down. And I have to be honest, I was so enthralled with the story. I haven't even watched it. I'm on to Summer House. I don't care. And I'm like, I mean, bad timing, horrible. I would have literally stayed in jail another couple of weeks
Starting point is 00:35:46 to like she should have only popped out of jail when it was a slow news week because also it's karma for whoever booked her to have that interview because again we're putting more people that are criminals and assholes on tv so also like i just don't think that i mean i i watch salt lake city like fairweatherly like so i know about it but like is it that interesting like is she what she did i mean it's very fucked up but like when it comes to being salacious it's like it only i think anytime a famous person goes to jail it's interesting right sorry comparatively to everything else that people are doing yes because she had this multiple seasons of being so wealthy having like she just lived this life it's like if amanda francis from housewives of
Starting point is 00:36:36 beverly hills it's the same energy she gives you know everybody would would stop everything they're doing if amanda francis got arrested for scamming old people because it's like you wanted to see this person go down because you knew in your guts and soul something was weird something is off. And then when you get confirmation, everybody was like, and she's also,
Starting point is 00:36:56 Jen was also fully unhinged, psychotic. The way she interacted with people, she was like too, too scummy
Starting point is 00:37:05 for housewives. You know? Like, she belonged on something else and turns out, she was like more of a bad girls club.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Yes. She should have gone on on well games, you know? There you go. She probably will be next season. Definitely House of Villains.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Anyway, Anyway, sorry to you, Jen Shah. Your time is the time of your life. Your 15 minutes are up, babe. I hope they don't put her back on Salt Lake, too. Yikes. I mean, I guess people do their time and whatever, but society has to bring them back.
Starting point is 00:37:37 But TV does not need to. I think that's where we draw the line. I think it's where we draw the line. It isn't, though. That's the problem. This is the entire problem. Jack, I am just saying that this is the new thing I want to put into action across the board, men and women.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Okay. Yeah, no, I agree. It's just, it's very utopia. And I think the world's too f***ed up for that. For sure. I think so too. And then clicks. The clicks.
Starting point is 00:38:00 People love it. It's our fault for being and scrolling and liking and being obsessed with all of this shady s***. So feeding the bees. But it's so interesting. I know. Well, it's like, I can't stop. You know what?
Starting point is 00:38:13 You know what you were always happy with? when I was at CBS, we shared like a studio with CBS News and they were just always praying for a car chase because they would have all these shows planned. And then you were just praying that some car chase happened because when you put that on, the ratings go through the roof. People love to watch it. We are the human. We are the car chase of the world. It's so embarrassing. Anyway, thank you for coming to our TED Talk. Thank you for your deep dive, Jacqueline. Professor Jacqueline. Yes, thank you.
Starting point is 00:38:43 I loved it. And we will see you next Tuesday.
