Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around here. Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Lady Gang TV.
Starting point is 00:00:24 No, no, no. Take it back. You guys remember when we were like, we don't want to do anything on camera because then we have to not be in our pajamas and hear all you bitches that podcast around the world made video podcasts and now we have to do it. Thanks a lot, Morning Toast. I am still in pajamas, so this is like, I'm okay with this. Yeah, I'm pajama adjacent. I have a mascara, but a pajama.
Starting point is 00:00:51 I'm wearing a bra. Like, I'm just like, everything's wrong. It won't always be this way. No, it won't. No. But we're older now. it requires a little bit of work. I did have this thought.
Starting point is 00:01:04 So I flew in this morning. So surprise, here we are. Also, if you're listening in audio, you don't know what we're talking about. I was just about to tell them. Okay. Okay. So we are in Kelty's house in our office,
Starting point is 00:01:17 and there's been a total makeover, renovation of not just Kelty's entire house, but she chose to take on a Lady Gang studio. So we are sitting here in beautiful chairs with a beautiful backdrop in front of beautiful lighting with cameras so you too can see us look like shit on video if you feel like it we're gonna just be doing clips we're not gonna release like whole we're there might be a youtube situation we don't know what we don't know yet but no promises no promises but just so you know it's not your typical bleak zoom we are stepping it up it is
Starting point is 00:01:50 2023 we don't want to see a zoom room we have professional lighting we look decent yes we're ready to go i'm wearing a lash you are a big lash actually a big lash that's all i had left all i had left was vegas showgirl level lash yeah it's definitely a showgirl you're welcome well um i flew in this morning i landed at 7 30 and i had a revelation about aging and how i can no longer dress like a child to get on an airplane anymore because then you just look like a sad old lady no i can't do that i have to look like a child it's the only way to not feel insecure i feel so insecure now if i if i travel in like anything that's not appropriate like you wouldn't want to bump into your boss wearing you know what i mean like i don't have a boss
Starting point is 00:02:37 it's like hypothetical when i bump into kelty she can't even dream it she can't even jack's like what's a boss i don't know what that means i bump into myself in the mirror i just like look at myself anyways it must be nice to be so free wait what are you wearing or did you wear that i wore jeans i wore jeans and i wore a anina bing like fleece because i just need it to be if it's not dressy it has to be expensive that's what about an expensive sweatsuit that is fine and i actually decided because i fly in so early on these mornings all i want to be in it isn't a sweatsuit but nothing is appropriate it's it's all like childlike sweats so i need to find a chic sweatsuit i know i'm eight years behind on this but it's time it's time you could yeah 2020 is
Starting point is 00:03:26 is calling it's calling yeah i can't do jeans ever not on a plane i i like a jean i don't mind it not for me no no you're always not liking i mean talk about that's i need the compression well she's in a legging without an underwear yeah exactly upsetting single layer just getting Getting it all over that seat. Breathing it out. That nice fabric seat. Okay, well, it's time for... Good week.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Yes, it is. Bad week. Oh, no. Were you going to give us a sound effect? Well, I looked over. There is no good week. I wish there was. Sexy mature.
Starting point is 00:04:01 I'm Peggy. The dick is trapped. Who would like to kick us off? I'll go. Okay. The time finally came. Oh, my God. My good week is I found a fucking wedding dress
Starting point is 00:04:14 it's been purchased it will get there in time i'm just so excited i did it i feel like you guys should be really proud of me you didn't we were just talking about you upstairs you didn't actually first of all i'm annoyed because i was like wait have you seen jack's dress and jack and kelty's like yeah i was like well that's rude i know she said too no i didn't kelty texted me about it she asked oh okay well i thought being involved on all the text regarding the dress meant that I also was curious. I just didn't want to be annoying. Well, because Kelty keeps sending me
Starting point is 00:04:48 all these wedding dresses on Instagram, being like, this is your dress. I have nothing to do at 3 a.m. with my anxiety anymore. I've been watching rug cleaning videos and looking for wedding dresses for Jack. I love a rug cleaning video. I know. The guy that cleans like a black rug.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Oh my God. He's so fulfilling. And every time you think he's done, he keeps going, he keeps getting lighter. Yeah, I know. You're like, good as new. Okay, but hold on. This is about you.
Starting point is 00:05:08 This is about the dress. So anyways, in between her sending me a bunch, she was like, oh, did you find one? And I was like, yeah. And then I sent her the videos and stuff. It's one of the dresses. I was between two that I sent you guys. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Well, this is not narrowing it down. You've literally sent us 85 dresses. That's true. Yeah. I'll show you later. Okay, great. Cool. But I'm very excited about it.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I think I did the right thing for myself by trying on every single dress that has existed in the entire world because now I'm like 150% sure this is my dress. So I'm like crisis averted. Yeah. And I also love like I brought Bravo to you because you had no like you really Celtic the dress try on like you had no shame about I'm going to go back to Kinsley bridal nine times and every time they're good like welcome Jack Vanek like today's the day you like like you have no like qualms about bringing mom and dad photographing them videoing in every dress like you. So, yeah, and I feel like people are embarrassed because they're like, oh, these people are, like, pressuring me to make a decision. And you're like, no, no, no. No.
Starting point is 00:06:11 I'll be ready when I'm ready. I just feel bad for the few places like Kinsley James that I did go four times and then didn't buy a dress from there. Hey, you gave them great press. I did. That's the way the cookie crumbles, baby. I know. I'm like, you know what? Like, I can make you all TikToks for the end of time.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Yeah. And it's mutually beneficial. It's fine. It's fine. Yeah. You don't have to worry. And also, when you're spending that much money on a gown, this isn't a t-shirt at the Gap. Also, Kingsley James, you should have given her a free dress.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Lesson learned. Let's be honest. We should have still time. I have many weeks. You know what? I'm sick and tired of it. I think... Hold on.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Hold on. Devil's ass. I'm at a point now. I know everyone's like, influencers get free style all the time. It's nothing we want. No. And I think it really chaps my ass that these bridal companies don't know how much content they're going to get of a beautiful, influential woman in their dress.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Idiots, dummies, dummy, dummy. I mean, it pretty much is the only free thing that you could send somebody that you'd actually get a return for. And guarantee you're going to get professional high resolution photos. Oh, you want 10? How about 10,000? Yes. It's so dumb of them.
Starting point is 00:07:24 20 TikToks. Yeah. I'm like, I'll do TikToks at the end of the time because it's the only thing that gets any views. Yeah. So I'm like, bridal content forever. I'm thrilled for you. I've already moved on to starting to send her shoes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Oh, wow. She's been sending me shoes. She's like, I know you want a platform, but you're going to have to wear this ugly fucking shoe. Why? It's not an ugly shoe. It's pretty ugly. But like she needs. Why can't she wear a platform?
Starting point is 00:07:44 She can wear a platform, but she cannot wear a ding dong big red boot platform. like she can't wear the boot that she wore on the lady gang tour as a bridal shoe it's too the dress is too soft and too sweet and she's getting married in france so it's it can be a platform but it has to have maybe an open toe or like maybe not like layers of chunky i have the perfect shoe not not alita not no no i have the perfect shoe for you i feel like um that jimmy chew no it's a platform and it's metallic but it's like strappy it's still dainty and delicate it but it is a platform with a thick heel so you don't sink in the grass yeah yeah i'll send it that's what i sent you some of those but this is okay that you thought i feel like i might like
Starting point is 00:08:28 the one that becca sends me i'm sure you will and i'm sure that's fine awkward i but i also begged jack i was like sorry this is taking so long but i begged her i was like please let me come to the fitting like there's one thing that i'm useful at oh no i i also begged you i was like please come to my fitting like i need to get to the fitting because i'll know the undergarments the nipple tassels i'll know where to snatch and one time i went with my other friend sarah when she was and they bolstered the dress like pulled it you know when you what's it called bustle bustled the dress and i looked they worked for like half an hour and i looked at her and i was like oh no no this is the ugliest bustle i've ever seen i think all bustles are kind of ugly they're all ugly but
Starting point is 00:09:04 there's a way to do it where it's less ugly yeah anyway okay so good week we got a dress good week we got a dress and your parents went to every fitting including your dad which was so cute she's like how can you do that speechless like when you said that on your vlog i was like surely this is not true no you guys i there was before i got this dress i went to four fittings in a row four like it was a tuesday wednesday wednesday thursday friday saturday fitting my parents came up for wednesday thursday and finally i was like you guys i'm doing this one fitting i'll go there i i when i was in new york i did it by myself like i'll be 30 minutes you do not need to come and drive two and a half hours there and two and a half hours back they came just to see
Starting point is 00:09:52 me no they finally were like okay we won't okay but that was the boundaries are being that was the only fitting they didn't come to because i had to beg them to not do you think they're gonna want to come into the bridal suite on the night i think so they'll be like oh here we uh let me just lube you lube you up there you go here's jacqueline in her lingerie you know jacqueline likes it like this i'm sorry this is so bad week it's true that was my bad week just saying that i'm so sorry thinking about someone in a crotchless panty was my bad that no yeah yeah i mean you're basically wearing a crotchless panty when you get on a plane though that's true it's pretty much
Starting point is 00:10:37 just crotchless underwear crotchless what's your bad week check well so my bad week i'm like becca do we need to talk about kelty's get ready with me video which one kelty made a get ready with me video that you were like get ready with me for a super bowl party to go to rihanna's super bowl party it was rihanna's party it was my husband's roller hockey team's group backyard party which is why did you say it was a number one it was a super party we went with the flying elbows in the backyard with a brisket all i could think was i i please before you say what we both thought okay i also the only thing running through my head was these poor people are going to see kelty talking about how much she doesn't want to go to
Starting point is 00:11:31 this party yeah and then she's gonna walk through the door and fake it and they're gonna be like she's such a dick yeah then they're gonna see your video okay but jack describe it please okay well it makes a little bit more sense that it was for his roller hockey team because i thought it was like a rock nation after party and i was like i wish becca and i had a little side chat about it we're like what is kelsey doing and it was so hard to hang out with rihanna i was like kelty needs to stop doing these complaining about rich people stuff because she's going to this like this amazing sought after after party did not know it was chris's nobody wanted to go also your brand is enthusiasm yes mine is over it and yeah 24 hours before this video went up i made
Starting point is 00:12:22 something do you think you didn't inspire me okay it was a copy but was it conscious copy yes oh that's so i'm always looking i that's what tiktok is no someone make a video and you make a similar video not your business partner and you literally rip off their vibe i'm sorry she's becoming me oh you're like i'm gonna take this disgusting hair tie and just put my hair up i slept in the sweatshirt i'm like i think i just saw said that on instagram well this is what our side chat was about we're like do you think it's a conscious thing or is she sub is it a conscious copy or a subconscious it wasn't it was a consciously subconscious like i saw your video i also had greasy hair i also didn't want to go and i didn't feel like making a happy but i needed to do
Starting point is 00:13:06 something and i felt like it was funny when you did it so i did it too but it wasn't like i mean i have my bujo here and i do have a list of tiktoks that i'd like to make oh my god i didn't make becca copy becca's tiktok on my bujo it wasn't that conscious in my mind it was like oh It's actually really funny and relatable when someone's like, meh. It's Kelty trying to be relatable. You're not. You're not relatable. Your brand is enthusiastic.
Starting point is 00:13:33 I hate the word obnoxious because that's like a negative. I don't want to be enthusiastic. But everyone loves you for being that way. I'm changed. Unfortunately, if you change, you're going to lose the Kelty stance. Yeah, there. Because they love you for your enthusiasm. And they hate me for my everything.
Starting point is 00:13:51 So get ready. You're right. You're right. You know what? I've seen my fans are not quite as loud. Yeah, that's true. They're very quiet. And you need the applause.
Starting point is 00:13:59 I love Becca's bad attitude. Just like me. I find it very related. It's almost like she doesn't care if she lives or dies. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Um, well I'll go next.
Starting point is 00:14:09 My good week is that I went, Oh, you know what? I'm enthusiastic. I went to the Jonas brothers concert this past weekend. Um, I was flown out there and, um, I was so excited about it. And I, you know, people always ask me, you know, on the plane, we're talking about it. like are you a nick or a joe and no one ever mentions kevin because well i know i felt the same way i was like oh kevin is like he's the howie of the backstreet boys where you're like the chris kirkpatrick no i mean okay not that let's not take it that dark um no offense to
Starting point is 00:14:42 chris you're a great guy um but i was like yeah it's between nick or joe and then i was like watching the concert and i was like nick and i was like i'm not feeling the fuzzies i'm like joe i'm not feeling the fuzzies i i'm sorry kevin jonas is a smoke show his muscle wearing a hot like a yellow tight t-shirt i've we've been to pull something we've been sleeping on kevin for so long a tight yellow t-shirt muscles he doesn't really sing he just goes around and fingers the guitar i love a fingering guitar it's meaty he's like he's the biggest of the small jonas you know what tallest i know exactly tall i get it i'm 100 don't dnce me don't i get so jealous i'm here for kevin you know what i see the yellow t-shirt you're right he's hot guys he is hot yeah he got
Starting point is 00:15:37 hot he like he actually has a zach martin vibe where his vibe is like he's got a great head of like i don't care and i'm like he has the same body where he's like i'm beefy but i'm like tall but also like muscular because it's usually short guys are muscular he's hot why did nobody like kevin he was like kind of goofy well also like it's not he's not a pretty boy i'm gonna say something super awful but like it's not hot when you devil's advocate when you like marry your high school sweetheart right he's not a bad boy he's a nice guy that loves his children yeah i He has no edge. I don't want him bending me over.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Right. No. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because he's only bent one woman over. But now I changed my mind. I would like you to bend me over. I'm just kidding. You guys, I recently have fallen down the TikTok hole of the bonus Jonas.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Oh, Frankie is amazing. Huge fan. Yeah. Oh, the fourth brother? He's so funny. Yeah. He's so cute. I'm like, maybe.
Starting point is 00:16:31 We should have him on the podcast. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. My bad week is that they are focus grouping my show Superfan this week. And I can't give you too many details because it's a secret. But basically, I would like to just know and bear with me during this difficult time that 20 people are going to sit in a room and decide all the things they hate about me.
Starting point is 00:16:55 And I get to watch it. So television is horrible. I would give back all of my Emmys. That's a lie. I don't care that much. I want to keep my Emmys. But like if I if you see me having a dark tick tock this week, you'll know why. And I need you to forgive me, Becca.
Starting point is 00:17:14 That's actually good, because sometimes I need to know what the darkness is, because there's often once a month about you have some sort of a dark time. Yeah. But you don't go into much detail about it. And because she's learned to not tell everybody in the face. Yeah, because you guys told me not to be like, I'm having a hard time. hi i'm sad step is not actually just doing it out there at all happy all the time that's very unrelatable you're right you're you know what you can just be i'm just trying to be there i'm just
Starting point is 00:17:44 trying to be there you know yeah that gave a good week bad week yeah wait can i just say can i mention one thing yeah that there was a note about oh no you on the focus group yeah that i saw earlier today okay me yeah silly in a bad way yeah this is what they do they rate you have like a button i guess or like a i don't i don't even know yet but you have like some sort of for me fill out and then like you can vote this show was silly in a good way or silly in a bad way what even is silly in a bad way angela dave angela bassett did the thing like that's silly in a bad way but it's also silly in a good way and you know what that got lots of views lots of views maybe you're trying to go viral silly in a bad way silly in a bad way is like the vibe when you
Starting point is 00:18:28 post frog videos yeah silly in a bad way but like a bad way that's so good it's so bad it's good but but is it so bad that you don't care to see it you know what please don't be in my focus group it's silly in a bad way that you got the ick and you're like i i didn't need to see that yeah maybe that's it i don't know i find you silly in a good way i do thank you even if i don't show it yeah also you should be used to sitting in a room and having people tell you what they don't like about you look at what jack and i do with you every week no honestly i feel like you guys have really supported me and i'm like i feel like i'm rocky in the olympics like i'm like i'm i'm swimming into my haters nobody knows better to get offended than you right because they're like oh we hate
Starting point is 00:19:08 your dresses and i'm gonna be like cool nothing i like me i did actually eyes nose and eyes i'm enough i'm enough i'm enough i am what was your mantra i'm safe i'm healthy i'm loved i'm safe I'm healthy. I'm loved. You know what? I'm going to write that on a big board and put it in front of my Zoom camera while I'm watching it. You should, actually.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Because none of that really matters. Nothing matters. And if someone's like, I hate those boots, I'm going to be like, they were Oscar de la Renta runway. I'm going to do those. I'll just post the scene from Devil Wears Prada. Oh, yeah. Where it's like, you don't see the difference in these belts.
Starting point is 00:19:44 You know that blue sweater you're wearing? That was from Old Navy. I created that on the cover of Vogue three years ago with these Oscar de la Renta boots. It's cerulean blue. It's cerulean blue. Okay, Becca? Uh, okay. So my good week is that I kept a human alive for one year. Congrats. Yes. Congrats. It sexy mature. Yes. It was super sexy mature. Um, I can't believe that
Starting point is 00:20:07 my child is one. We had a big birthday party. It was so cute. It was pretty good. I don't really enjoy hosting parties but i i've hacked the system i outsourced everything because i did the math on things because people are going to come back and be like but you did a food truck and all this is so expensive but you know what time is money yolo but also it would have cost so much to go shop and like do all the shit anyway and make it and it would be garbage and i had this realization that The reason I hate hosting events, parties, whatever, is because I feel like I'm literally a captor, and I'm like, you're being forced to be here for two hours. You're basically in prison.
Starting point is 00:20:50 So I'm very worried about how you're going to be feeling, because you're probably not even wanting to be here. So I want to give you a good cocktail, and I want to give you a delicious food truck. And that is what I did, and I did go a little manic at the end, and I booked a Tiny Tales petting zoo. Okay, I was going to ask about that. Which looked really fun. Turtles?
Starting point is 00:21:09 What else? Turtles, chicks, one chicken, a hedgehog, a bearded dragon. Oh, my God. I only saw the turtles. Bunnies. I love a bunny. The bunnies were cute and soft and whatever. So, anyways, I...
Starting point is 00:21:24 I like the bearded dragon. I went for it. I really went... And a turtle. Did I say turtle? Yes. Yeah. You can always tell, like, the weird kids that were, like...
Starting point is 00:21:32 So, they would go around and be, like, what do you want to hold? Because she'd give, like, the whole shield. She's, like, I want a chick. And they're, like... I want the bearded dragon. Yeah. And, like, the little girl is like, I'll take the turtle. I'm like, that would have been me.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Totally you. Like, do you have any sticky frogs? I was like, really? Have you seen the turtle's face? It bums me out. Anyways, so I did it. It was great. It was amazing.
Starting point is 00:21:56 And then my bad week is after coming off my high of being the best mother ever, the nanny was out yesterday, and I had to be with my kid all day. so and i am a weak person i'm not meant to raise children by myself i can't my threshold is low so it's hard for me to be with a one-year-old all day long as a mother by yourself by myself so i bring him on a walk and he's walking now so i'm like this is gonna be easy now that i don't have to hold him you can just kind of toddle around do his thing explore dirt like he's just you know he's a person he's a person so i'm like sitting there and of course i'm on my phone googling where we want to go on vacation this christmas and i look over and my child has his
Starting point is 00:22:38 hands in an ant pile fire ants fire ants fire ants oh and i'm looking and the way that i know is because he's standing there and he's just like looking at his hands and watching these little things crawl all the way up his arms and i was like screaming at the top of my lungs and i started like going like this and this and this and like taking his shoes off of him and i was like did they bite he was panicked because i was panicked yeah i keep it pretty cool any other situation like he bumps his head i'm like we're good yeah but then that freaked me the out because i'm like that hurts like a mother for an adult so he just kind of looked at me and i was like brushing them off and then the i dunked his feet and his hands in the pool so it's like cold water
Starting point is 00:23:20 it's good but then i was like god like i can't even be with my kid for a day and not screw it up zach was out of town and he came back and he had like a gash on his forehead a cut on his finger and like ant bites all over him i'm like mother of the year was he like in pain afterwards no what was so weird is i got one bite from like yeah getting off he had probably six bites on this hand with little welts red all that and i like put some cortisone on it and like tried to do whatever he didn't even like notice acknowledge nothing oh so i'm like is he maybe he's baby zach martin who feels no pain wow okay so i know this isn't my part to talk but i just want to tell you something that really shaped who i became as a child or as an adult and it's similar well i was
Starting point is 00:24:10 very quiet and like pretty good kid and i'd never wanted to cause my family any trauma and so like i guess i was like three or four and um my mom tells the story of like i was in the back seat and i was like mom and she was like kelty behave like you gotta be quiet back there read your book like you know she was just busy mom and she was like i'm not fussing with you right now right and when she got me out of the car i guess we'd like come from the park or something i was completely covered in fire ants and like drove home the whole way and like was like mommy and like she didn't like care for me anyway it's just like her biggest regret as a mother so i'm glad you found them right away but anyway don't feel bad about the fire ants that happens to everyone oh my god
Starting point is 00:24:52 you did the right thing by he's too young to remember yeah he's too young to remember and you did the right thing by like acknowledging his but the trauma the trauma was the unacknowledgement yeah exactly like just sit there and be not the fire ants themselves yeah so you're fine yeah you're good okay i know my pediatrician i know this is like annoying but they tell you not to say it's okay when your kid's upset or crying or hurts themselves oh you're not supposed to say like it's okay it's okay it's okay because i guess it's like this is so stupid like why do we even care um babies are like literally in shacks and they're fine but um she's like because it like de um sensitizes them no it like elevates their emotions like they're allowed to be okay it
Starting point is 00:25:32 doesn't have to be okay i felt that when my mom was saying you're okay and i was not so you have to like acknowledge like i know i know this hurt i know it's yeah so it's like i'm constantly saying it's okay it's okay okay well you're doing great when we come back something great so this new lady gang sponsor is so kismet because i was recently shopping around target and i was like i need something wonderful for my shower i want to get my skin ready for summer i want it to be hydrated i want it to be exfoliated and that's where our new sponsor comes in tree hut The creators of America's number one body scrub have just released new hydrating gel washes. Please welcome back to the Lady Gang, Heather McDonald. welcome thank you i love that intro you've done a lot i guess so yeah you hear it back going back to you i guess it does sound pretty good your success is pretty much all that kelty like wishes that we could have accomplished but fell short for so stop it i felt kelty i would have liked to go on on that uh where did you just go you're on a plane to
Starting point is 00:27:51 jonas brothers yeah to jonas brothers that was fun yeah going to vegas that looks like fun i have a question about the jonas brothers plane was that like a southwest flight that they tried to make oh yeah it wasn't like a plane they they chartered a delta flight and they put like cute little backsplashes and they had like custom drinks but it was like delta flight attendance yeah it was cute but it was sort of like deceiving facade you know was it convenient like going on jet suites like yes oh gosh it flew out of the private terminal so there was no tsa we didn't meet at the airport it was like you you get on the plane that was it i mean i was technically in coach um and like some 45 minutes who cares no i didn't care but convenience they had a fancy part of the
Starting point is 00:28:36 plane for fancy people i was regular what fancy people were on there it was like the head of the recording academy it was like executives from networks that they're trying to work with and shit. Like they know how to play the game. Oh yeah. Heather. Yes. I'm so proud of you. I said this when I was on your podcast in the fall. Um, but I mean these charts, you're just up there and killing it for the women in between all these man podcasts. I'm just proud of you. Well, thanks. Um, I am too, you know, it's like, it's great to be doing something that I really love doing. And in your intro, I do love that I am able to say anything. And I know when I'm saying it, like on today's show, we got into the fact that Kelly Ripa is now going to have her
Starting point is 00:29:28 permanent partner be her husband, Mark. And I said, how many articles are we going to read about them talking about their sex life on this show all the time and their kid walking in and they I do anal three times a year or not or whatever. And I'm just like, that's the show. And we continued on. We did a role play of it where Julie Goldman, who is my regular guest, played Mark and I played Kelly. And we created what the top of the show will look like, ending with right before commercial break when we come back, who's going to win a trip to Florida. And Brandy Howard, who was also there, was like, I go, I'll never be on, you know, Kelly Rip this show now.
Starting point is 00:30:08 and she's like well should we um you know maybe you want to cut that out i'm like no i don't care no and and it would be great if kelly and mark listened and did have me and we're like yeah maybe we do talk too much about our sex life but you know but if they don't and i'm permanently banned but i've never been on anyway so i don't think it's like a huge risk it'd be one thing if i was on like four times a year and i was like you know what i don't need seven minutes of comedy to screw up a free trip to New York four times a year, but that's not the case. So I'm just like, it's like so freeing to not care about that. I might say something that will forever ban me from some dumb show that even if I was on it, it's not really gonna, it's not going to be,
Starting point is 00:30:57 it's not going to like make me more famous or get 500,000 more people to listen to Juicy Scoop and subscribe it's probably really not so i really do love that freedom it's also like sort of just a testament to where we're at in media how nobody gives a if you're on seven minutes of a prime time morning show or evening show or evening show or any show but yeah like i bet you wouldn't risk doing it to a really big podcaster because that's actually there's so much power in the audience of the podcast and it's like i would never shit talk joe rogan but maybe kelly and mark but i have shit talked megan markle because i don't care if i'm on archetypes oh well i don't care nobody cares about the one i need to break it to you but none of us are getting invited
Starting point is 00:31:48 and we should because it would be the best episode right and i and also we know that that thing's not going to continue after a couple probably even next year anyway so we love juicy scoop and i think we have a lot of scooping lady gangs out there lady gangers that follow and listen to both shows and so um i have collected a list of things that we feel are going on in pop culture right now that we need we need to be scooped on yeah um and i want to start with something an ode to jack vanek um jack vanek's the only person in the world that i think would wear the mschf big red boots have you seen these yeah those like boots jack's like i want these and i was like this is a super mario kart how how much are those boots they're like 350 which is actually
Starting point is 00:32:38 less than i thought that they'd be like i feel like a shoe like that would be like three grand um but yeah i mean honestly i think it's almost worth it just to like go and purchase the content and make a content out of because they're so hideous they're so bad they're so ugly i am like known for my ugly shoes and even i am like this it's a little bit too much because they're not fashionable they're just like ugly and there's no way they're like you put your foot in it and it is your size but then the outside is like four feet of extra it's a clown shoe it's a clown shoe i will say it kind of reminds me of like when you have like really bunchy, like bigger boots or like
Starting point is 00:33:20 big Ugg boots. Like it does make the leg appear to be thinner. The last thing I need. Where could I try them on? Because I might want to steal this content idea. I think you should. Where can I get it? Would Neiman's have them in the place where it has them? I don't know where
Starting point is 00:33:36 you buy them from. They're not even sitting in a store. Okay. Oh, no. It's going to have to be an order in return, Heather. Okay. I'll order them and then I'll pass them on to you. Can you imagine your little legs and that big ass foot like it's literally a chicken inside a of a big marshmallow that you would do like a s'more with please do it like but that's like that's the ideal look it's like you want the big contrast oh i guess okay speaking of red fluffy things um i want to know
Starting point is 00:34:06 heather's thoughts on and i want to know everyone's thoughts on rihanna superbowl it just happened she wore the big puffy red coat an homage to andre leon tally which i thought was really cool um announced her pregnancy and it was like going viral because it was like, how many seconds into the thing did you turn to your friend at the Superbowl party and go like, is she pregnant? And then you're like, you're not allowed to ask if women are pregnant anymore. And it was like very awkward in so many ways. What did you think? Um, well, I love Rihanna. I've seen her in concert. So, you know, I love go seeing anybody that I know every single song of, you know, that's like, so, um, I thought it was great. And right off the bat, I was like, wait, she,
Starting point is 00:34:43 when did she have the baby i didn't know was all the way back in may so i kind of thought it was just like a little bit of a post situation but i i did think maybe she's pregnant because i'm like i don't believe that a hollywood star would be that post like body that long you know because when you're in hollywood like you don't have you know they make it happen that you slim down whatever so um so i just kind of was like i just liked it because i liked every song and i just enjoyed it and then when people were like well you know oh I was hoping that she'd bring out Eminem or I hope she was bringing out this person and what people don't realize is like do you know how much extra work that is for Rihanna to bring in other artists how many more
Starting point is 00:35:27 audition how many more um times she has to rent the studio space and rehearse and like coordinating with different people's assistants and egos and all that and I'm like she did the ultimate mom thing she worked smarter not harder and she was like I don't need to invite someone like I've got enough great songs and if I don't want to move that much because I'm pregnant great thrilled about it like thrilled about it so I thought it was great and anyone that had was complaining was just you know a stupid idiot that's what I think so true but I think I just forgot that no woman has so many songs it's like even if she just stood there and did nothing it would be perfect because her songs are so good like she doesn't need to do anything
Starting point is 00:36:21 and then i saw someone so it's not i did not figure this out but i saw someone do that saying there was a criticism like there was no theme to it or whatever And actually, besides it being a theme where really the dancers were a little sperm, like dancing around her, which many of the dancers were actually used from Grand Canyon University dancers right there in Phoenix. So I love that she, again, made it easy. Like, let's use the local talent and all this stuff. And so she but then all the song list, if you look at the way the songs go, it's sort of a story of a single girl meets a boy, then rude boy like that's not the boy for me, then meets another boy, then, you know, and then ends up with, you know, whatever song, but like shining bright in her womb. yes yes and so it was completely thought out and if you didn't catch it you know i really didn't think about the sperm till right now yeah you didn't i just you did you jack yeah did you becca
Starting point is 00:37:29 i didn't watch it i still haven't watched it um that's okay i just be honest if you saw the clips like that's that was that was it ever since like the j-lo shakira showdown i just feel like that whole I'm here for the J-Lo concert like that whole thing like that joke it was born and it should have died there so I was just annoyed with all the like I can't believe they're showing a football game before and after the Rihanna concert I'm like you guys it's dead the joke is dead and then that stupid shirt everyone was wearing I was like I just can't support it was like some shirt I keep seeing all over Instagram with like Cara Delevingne was wearing it something about the rihanna concert and i'm like you guys you're that joke is so dead unoriginal dead
Starting point is 00:38:16 okay i can't some juicy juicy shit um so jack's our bachelor person here and i texted her last night and i was like yo is there anything we should talk about about with heather about the bachelor because i actually watched it last night you did okay i heard it's very boring but what i'm interested is i'm hearing the rumor that chris harrison is coming back as host okay so i yeah i saw that rumor too um so i haven't really been watching it at all but like it does like i was like this will put me to sleep so another thing someone said that they can't get past is that the bachelor is the straight better looking version of perez hilton and once you see it you can't unsee it oh we're gonna have to put a shot on our instagram so damn it last night i
Starting point is 00:39:06 i haven't been watching it but like it records so i watched the last episode and he's in um london with all the girls that are you know left and this one girl gets this incredible like shopping trip like and she comes home and all the girls are sitting around like crying because she's got jimmy chews and all the stuff and then they're like well at least our like shitty group dates tomorrow you know to go on the london bus and they're like uh what what are we getting this note for um the bachelor's under the weather and he's like i'm sorry i was just a little jet lagged but i hope the girls have fun without me and they're like i guess we'll see him tonight at the cocktail party and then they come and they say sorry he's still sick so there will be no
Starting point is 00:39:49 cocktail party and they're like all right so they're crying this is my last chance to like tell him i can you know really give him a good blow job on the fantasy suites or how to try to stave my rose that you know at least get me into paradise bachelor in paradise or a couple hundred thousand followers or whatever so so then the the chris harrison 2.0 jesse whatever his name is comes out and he's like well girls he has covid he has covid and i'm like are the rest of the day It's going to be on fucking Zoom like it's 2020. Oh, yeah. Is this it?
Starting point is 00:40:27 Oh, yeah. Who is going to get blamed for giving him COVID? Like, are you kidding me? And so, you know, now they're all crying and, you know, and like everything. And this one girl like brings a gift and like is talking to him outside the window. And he's like, oh, thank you. Like, he's just he's super boring. And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I don't know if they stop for 10 days and pick it up or what happened. It was kind of an interesting production storyline, but no one cares about the couples. But you saw that they did the cocktail party on Zoom, right? No, I went to sleep after he got COVID. What happened? They did the whole cocktail party on Zoom. They had his little Zoom set up from his hotel room. Did he give out roses?
Starting point is 00:41:14 Via Zoom. Did someone go home? so there's nothing i want to see less than zoom footage in 2023 no i know i know it's like this would have been good in 2020 because it was still nice and fresh and it was like fun like we were being cute and we're like we're being safe now they had his thing set up in a zoom and he'd give the roses out the roses would be like right in front of the girls in real life but then the two girls that got kicked off he was just like okay bye who got kicked off um i don't even know was it wow there was one girl that had a shitty attitude um okay well yeah okay about chris
Starting point is 00:41:54 harrison so i don't think that's gonna happen because they paid him so much to go away as he deserved and i i really think when he did get the boot i didn't think it was fair why he got the boot but once he got the boot i was like i i think he's a little long in the tooth to be talking to 22 year old girls sitting on a couch with no makeup being like so next week is fantasy sweets girl can you start stretching lube up it's gonna be a competition between the last three who can bone the best like you know and not that he was doing that but like it when it started he was like 33 he was young too right it was like your college guy friend and the guy was in his early 30s now all these bachelor people are all like under 25 like they got younger he got older and i do think
Starting point is 00:42:53 he's like a likable person but no one was turning in for him the whole show changed not only did they get rid of chris harrison but they were like we need to make this more diverse and not just in And I don't think they just made it diverse about, you know, not only choosing white people, but also just like different types of people. They went from like a very like, you know, clean cut sorority fraternity kind of a show to all American, like very clean cut to like different guys. Like there'd be like kind of a small guy with a man bun and like a guy with a nose ring. And so to me watching it, I was just like, I'm not really attracted to these types. Like I like like a Jason Tarek type or whatever. Who's the guy that married – who's marrying Caitlyn?
Starting point is 00:43:44 Jason. You want a guy like with a good 401K that looks great in a suit. Yeah, that's like a finance guy. That's like a finance guy. That's like a finance guy. That's like that's my type. That's what it started at because you were supposed to be rich. You were supposed to be rich.
Starting point is 00:43:58 It's just you're the last person. Or desirable, at least. Yeah, the first guy was rich. You're right. He was like a millionaire who was, you know, this was 20 years ago that lived in San Francisco. I'm not saying that a man bun can't be rich. Can't be rich. But it was about.
Starting point is 00:44:12 Different. But now that's not it because it's just the leftovers. And the leftovers are a pool of recently licensed realtors, personal trainers, and social content people. You know. And maybe. So no one's an attorney with, or no one has like four businesses. Like that one guy had like four bars. He was like 35.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Like there. So you're like, I want this guy. Cause I can immediately step into it. Not like I want this guy. So the two of us can go on the road and be, you know, and do the van life and be influencers. Well, the problem now too is because the bachelor ratings, not ratings, but like the viewership is going down, you can't even be an influencer once it's done. like you have to still have a job so it's not like they can even they go off and be influencers
Starting point is 00:44:58 together yeah that pool is really dropped you're just even seeing it like with all the people that got the podcast talking about it no like there's literally no buzz about this season like no like you know thank god we don't have bachelor podcasts there's nothing to talk about i mean we talk this was very entertaining but we had to do it a little bit but me too but like yeah that i kind of like that my show is like yes do i get into a show once in a while and then by the third season no, I don't cover 90 Day Fiancé anymore because I feel like it's fake and I just don't want to look at these dorky
Starting point is 00:45:30 weird people that are just doing it for clout but when it first started I thought it was hilarious and I like got into it and I got people to watch it but then like, oh, I wish you'd cover it more I'm like, it's literally like 14 hours a week of material that I just don't care, so I just move on
Starting point is 00:45:46 to something else, so I like I think it is kind of hard when you start something that's so tied to a TV show oh yeah yeah yeah it's too much where do you go from there yeah what's the very first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is it checking your credit score yeah i didn't think so and that's why you want to get chime that's exactly what chime does with their secured chime credit builder visa credit card you can start to build credit with your own money chime reports your payments to credit bureaus to help you build credit over time their members see an increase

Starting point is 00:46:56 improve. Out-of-network ATM withdrawal fees may apply. Accept money past ATMs in a 7-Eleven or any Allpoint or Visa Plus Alliance ATM. You're listening to The Lady Gang. all right heather this is heather's choice do you want to talk about kate middleton's dominatrix gloves and butt tap of prince harry at the baftas or would you like to talk about kelsey ballerina's divorce ep being savages um i don't know the this the country girl that much okay right she's a country singer right yeah kelsey she was just on our podcast kelsey released this so he when they divorced her husband wrote this song like when was it over for you like i would have followed you everywhere and when was it over for you you never told me i got blindsided and she
Starting point is 00:47:46 recently put out this ep that was basically like hey this is when it was over for me in 2019 when you were super unsupportive and shitty and like the whole thing is like she's interviewed that's like i want to set the record straight my lawyer says half she goes he got half well she was just on call her daddy and it was like yeah i guess they didn't have a prenup and so this guy who like has had no hit songs like got half of everything it's crazy who's her husband or her ex was a songwriter this guy morgan evans who like you were lucky morgan you should have taken the all-night flight to see her in 2019 because you didn't show anyway okay so no one wants to talk about this no i will i will talk about that i i mean i love that you know i love
Starting point is 00:48:29 a clap back um my question to her was did you tell him that you were pissed that he wasn't coming or did you just keep it inside or bitch it to bitch about it to five girlfriends because let me tell you something girls men are a completely different breed than women it doesn't matter how evolved they are their whole brain body emotions vocabulary it's different than us and you've got to just accept that unless you want to be a lesbian like you've got to accept and it doesn't mean that they don't love you there are men that are more romantic there are men that are more in tune with it and there are men that are like clueless that just have to be told and he probably was like
Starting point is 00:49:21 yeah it's just another I don't know what the situation was but it's like for a long time I was doing Chelsea Lately and I would go once in a while not a lot of weekends because
Starting point is 00:49:36 I couldn't miss a lot of days but I would do a weekend of stand up I would drive to Chelsea Lately do all of my stuff take that car, go to Joe's parking lot. This is like before Uber. That's how long ago it was. And park at the Joe's parking lot at LAX, take the bus, go on the flight, do all the standup five shows, come back, get on the bus. No one's greeting me. Get in the car, drive all the way back to Woodland Hills. And I did that
Starting point is 00:50:07 for years. I never asked my husband to take me. I never insisted that a professional car pick me up from chelsea lately because i'll be exhausted and i it until recently until like a few years ago i finally was like no you know i'm getting exhausted doing this and i'm going to want to stop doing stand-up unless i make some more luxurious choices for myself and obviously we can afford it but you know and then once that was the case that was like of course he's gonna And, of course, now he meets me with the dog or my kid or if he can't because he does have something great that he wants to do that day, like he's in some golf tournament. That's okay. Just get the professional guy with the sign.
Starting point is 00:50:54 I'm not taking a bus to the Uber lot. I just, you know, worked my ass off, and this is what I need. And I just tell people that all the time. Like, you have to tell them. If you're pregnant and you want a beautiful push gift because all your girlfriends got a push gift, say it. If you want him to spend the night in the uncomfortable hospital bed next to you and not go home and come back five hours later so he can get a little rest, say it. Like say what your expectations are, you know, if you want this to work. But maybe you kind of don't and you want to tally in your head like, oh, he did enough shitty things that I'm happy to leave.
Starting point is 00:51:33 but it does take sometimes maturity to be that honest in a relationship this is the thing she was 23 when she got married you don't have the confidence in yourself to communicate you don't even know what you want you don't know what you want the guy your frontal lobe is not fully developed you don't want the guy who's literally meeting you at the airport voluntarily with bells on every time or going to see every show you ever do or do like i don't no woman wants what she thinks she wants if my husband were so eager to like show up and do everything i ever did and be my cheerleader i would be like get your own life go find a friend and a hobby because this is too much pressure for me to see you out in the audience every time i do lady gang live it's not that good
Starting point is 00:52:17 of a show no you know and but i also remember i i remember also a friend of mine who's a female comic was thinking about breaking up with her serious boyfriend and she's like I don't know like then I have to date someone else that like who would be willing to come see my stand up this often and I go they don't have to come
Starting point is 00:52:40 or he can come like that shouldn't be why you stay in a shitty relationship because you don't want to break in a new boyfriend that has to sit through your hour like it's okay like it's like and she's like yeah I guess you're right you know I'm like just rip the bandaid off like it's not if you're thinking
Starting point is 00:52:56 about this like you know I'm like you don't have kids you don't own a home get the out like it's okay but I was going to say in this case of him getting half the money I think he deserves it she wrote a whole album about him she might
Starting point is 00:53:12 if she was to fight that his attorney would probably argue just like a woman by me being your husband and being there and like you this you accomplish this during our time together So it's the same thing if a girl was married to a doctor who held down the home while all he had to do was just get up.
Starting point is 00:53:35 She made his breakfast and he – whatever. And then they break up. You wouldn't argue that she shouldn't get a really good amount of money. So, yeah, in this day and age, be smart, girls, if this is the case. And I do think – you know, I do think prenups are great. I mean I'm all for them. And if you think, you know, you're going to make a lot of money or you're walking in with a lot of money, sure, do it. But most people, you know, being so young, I don't know that either one of them was super successful.
Starting point is 00:54:06 And she was probably hoping that they would be like more of a musical team and maybe her becoming really successful. It also can be as you become more successful as the woman and maybe the husband's like, you left a pan in the sink. Like, you know, how am I supposed to cook my breakfast? And you're like, I just, excuse me. Oh, let me turn on the radio. I'm the number one song dick. Like, you know, because you're a star. And I think that's why I like Hollywood people.
Starting point is 00:54:34 Sometimes it's hard because a normal couple can be a little bitchy about you left your shoes on the floor or God, you know, can you, you know, how dumb are you? Or why didn't you pay that bill or whatever? then you become this huge star and you're like i don't need to put up with one inconvenient thing because i am a huge star and everyone would die to have coffee with me and now you're telling me i made your coffee wrong it's like a it's why i think when people go why do hollywood couples don't last i think that's part of it you know right they're not good at inconvenience okay my very last question and then we have to let you go what's going on with megan fox and machine gun
Starting point is 00:55:13 kelly oh i just talked about this on today's show and i cut a fun little reel so follow me on tiktok and instagram reels um i think she is so freaking thirsty i think her acting career is like done i don't know what she's doing um and this whole thing of creating this fake cryptic thing that were broken up right before super bowl um taking off his photos hinting that it could be this guitarist female guitarist and then being like uh i don't know why everybody cannot just like leave us alone like it's literally like megan markle in the uh south park thing like leave us alone privacy tour like she she's like why are you giving into this rumor we're fine it's like I bet you started the rumor.
Starting point is 00:56:04 She is, they are the thirstiest. I like his music. Me too. I don't think they're ever going to get married. And I think this, it was exciting. And it was like, what? You know, like a year and a half ago. Now nobody cares.
Starting point is 00:56:18 And she's probably like, well, now what? Like, it's just the same thing. Nobody cares about Kravis anymore. Like, once you get married, you're just like the rest of us. It's like, no one cares. You're Mark and Kelly. Yeah. Mark and Kelly.
