Starting point is 00:00:00 Hi, I'm Barbara aka your nursing educator on Instagram. I'm a registered nurse and I create content to help nursing students feel ready to take on anything and everything that comes with the job and trust me it's a lot. Here's one of my favorite and simplest pro tips. Upgrade your scrubs to figs. Figs are designed for us. They are super soft, lightweight, and breathable with four-way stretch to keep up with your every move. Polished professional silhouettes? Check. Functional details and pockets in all the right places, check and check. No matter what your day has in store, Figs has layers to match. Their underscrubs are perfect on their own or as a lightweight base layer to help keep you cool and dry.
Starting point is 00:00:40 And when the temperature drops, their outerwear styles are made for everything from chilly commutes to freezing hospital hallways. If you're in healthcare or love someone who is, check out Figs. Head to wearfigs.com and use code FIGSCA for 15% off your first order. That's wearfigs.com, code FIGSCA. Hello, hello, and welcome to the Lady Gang. I am Becca Tobin here with Jack Fennec and Kelty Knight. Oh my god. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Oh my god. I'm very excited for this episode. Feel the rain on your skin. No one else can do it for you. Oh. Only you can let it in. Keep going. We've been trying to get Audrina on this show for two years.
Starting point is 00:01:45 We really have. It's finally coming true. Even we were pre the Hills even coming back. We were like, we should get Audrina. And now she's on the Hills. We got her when she's at her, like, biggest famousness, too. So go us. The height.
Starting point is 00:01:56 The height of the fame. Okay. On that note, it's time for... Good week. Yes, it is. Bad week. Oh, no. I'm going first.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Okay. So last week I went to New York for an event with Kohl's. Oh, my God. And I got to go, and it was me and Leah and Emma, and the three of us just had, like, a fun... You know, sometimes those events can be tricky. Like, you don't know who's going to be there if the other talent that's there... It's like, oh, no, Kelty's there. Yeah, I would have been like, ooh, don't talk to her.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Don't make eye contact. She's going to take your friends. But we had so much fun. And Leah performed two of her songs from her Christmas album. And just like, wow, it was so fun. Killed it. Killed it. Yeah, but it was a really, it was a fun night.
Starting point is 00:02:38 And I just love New York at this time of year. Like, it's the only thing that warms my cold, dead heart. Speaking of my cold, dead heart, I recently got a tweet. And I get a lot of really, like, rude tweets. Because, obviously. Because you're you. Here I am. But this one was especially rude, and I don't know why I took such personal offense to it,
Starting point is 00:02:56 but let me read it to you. Hey, Becca, it's funny when you're sassy, but not when you're straight up mean. The past two episodes of Lady Gang have been cringy because of your sour attitude. Seriously seems like you don't even want to be in the Lady Gang anymore. And it felt like that for a while. She also took the liberty of tagging you in it, too, to, like, basically tell on me to the teacher. Damn, bitch, what's her name? Exposer.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Well, let's clear the air. Let me clear the air. do you want to be in the lady gang no and this is my official resignation bye no two weeks around here's here's the thing i know what she's talking about i was complaining about like crime crime i think it was no i think it was yeah but like in my good week bad i don't know what it was actually i think i went on a weird larry david tangent about like hating something like we were Like, we should have an episode of all the things Becca hates. Like, so my negativity, I guess, is what she's reading into it.
Starting point is 00:03:51 But that's not mean. If you, like, hate Larry David's presence for adults, then I can hate that. That's not a person. Yeah. But I also just feel like I'm not going to say your name because I don't want anybody to come for you. But this girl that tweeted me, I'm kind of like, you know, I don't really need a job review from you. Like, I. They're going to think you're so bitchy for saying that.
Starting point is 00:04:14 But I don't. Like, I don't need you to publicly give me feedback. I think it's very rude when people publicly give you feedback. If you really cared, you would send me a private message or email the lady gang and just be like, I'm kind of bummed out. Becca's had a bad attitude, but don't tweet it for the world to see and then tag my business partner. That's rude.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I'm going to go through. What do you do for a living? I'm going to come to your work and I'm going to tell on you on Twitter. No, I do hate. I hate that. People love a public shame. Okay. I'm going next because I have a private shame.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Okay. Bad week. I'm in Dolly Parton jail. Yeah. So I. Not a good place to be. It's not good. Dolly Parton, love of my life, master of my universe.
Starting point is 00:04:53 So I've been really enjoying the Dolly Parton's America podcast. It is f***ing incredible. Even if you're not a Dolly Parton fan, it is so well done. The stories are so amazing. So in episode two, Dolly is talking about how when she had a really, like this really dark time in her life she had written this suicide note and anyone millions of people can listen to this it's on the podcast she'd written the suicide note and then she saw she said she got a message from god when her dog jumped on the bed because she was like dog is god backwards and like this
Starting point is 00:05:26 was the sign that she should keep living out of this dark period of her life it was such a beautiful time a beautiful thought and like a message of hope that i just love so much so then i went to Dollywood and I was interviewing her and a few questions in, I was like, you know, being here at Dollywood, you have so much in your life. Like it's hard to believe that you ever, you know, would have been this depressed and this slow and like to the point where you would write a suicide note. Did not go well. Then I was in jail. Then they were like editing my tapes and like taking it out and everyone was so upset. And I was like, did you guys not know? She just talked about this on a podcast. This number four on the podcast charts, like everyone's talking about it. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:06:03 Then I got in trouble. Then I felt so bad. Like, I was like, I hurt Dolly. Did she seem hurt? Did she not want you to talk about it? She was like, she kind of went like this, and she went, like, it's almost like she forgot. Like, she clearly is not listening to the Dolly Parton America podcast now. So she might have forgotten that she said it.
Starting point is 00:06:20 And then she said, no, no, no, I want to clear this up before this becomes tabloid. Yeah. So she was, like, clearing it up. So obviously, you know, but then. What was she clearing up, though? I think she didn't want it to be like a salacious headline like Dolly Parton wanted to commit suicide but like literally where I got it was from the Today Show which their headline was Dolly Parton once contemplated suicide so like it was already out there it wasn't I was just doing
Starting point is 00:06:44 my job like I'm supposed to ask those things but then I felt so bad and I was in Dollywood and she had hosted us at Dollywood and there's like magic and butterflies everywhere and I just felt so guilty okay anyway since then I've seen her again it's all cool we're good good Jolene Jolene Jolene Okay. Good week. I may, uh, my dad is in town and he's been having tons of fun with me and I figured out where my misuse of words comes from. Because yesterday he used a word, fuzzle. Fuzzle is not a real word. No, it's like a problem. Like we're in the middle of a real fuzzle. So I'm adding it to the lady gang dictionary. Use at your discretion. Okay. Jack. Um, okay. So I don't know if mine good week's really a good week or a bad week, but I'm going to put it in a good week. Okay. So the
Starting point is 00:07:27 other week i was on the morning toast and they did a mary kill game with me and it was all different bands it was like mary kill some 41 blink 182 this band called okay and i was like okay i'm gonna kill some 41 mary blink 182 because they're rich and i'm gonna because the singer is hot two hours later i get a dm from the singer of he says thanks for the mention today on your podcast and your mary kill segment let me know if you ever want to come to a show no no is he single he's french i think he's married he is still super hot are we like blowing up a marriage right now oh i don't know no i think he i didn't he didn't say let me know if you ever want to he said let me know if you ever want to come to his show she said he was hot and she would
Starting point is 00:08:10 him but i mean like really she's not gonna him you guys men don't understand that you guys are fucking idiots i quit the lady game i hate everything about you i'm sorry to your wife that this just happened well you didn't hit on me that is a that's how are you that's not our attitude at the lady gang okay ladies supporting ladies okay anyways well well actually we're exposing him so this is ladies supporting ladies he absolutely heard you call him hot or heard that yeah he didn't even listen to it but becca did you even know the band existed exactly this is like the first this is the scrap that's why i'm saying this is a hot scrap plausible that he's hot they're all friends
Starting point is 00:08:57 desperate for attention because nobody knows who so why are you listening to the morning toast podcast probably just met like sent him like hey on the morning toast this girl why are you listening don't be mean to our girls now that you're back in their good graces why would a 40 year old middle-aged man be listening to the morning toast someone told him one of his friends like tweeted him or something yeah or maybe his wife okay anyway she's like i love this that was code for let's just in case you're well listen i felt like if i was single i would have taken it as code you would be him in a week if you were single no it sucks okay okay bad week so you can't him yeah bad we can't him so my bad week is i did this ad recently for one of these like
Starting point is 00:09:39 and where you had like whatever i get a dm from a girl and she goes jack be honest is this all the and she was right no way you didn't actually make it okay you didn't cook it no because i didn't okay so wait you probably can't say this but i've done so many breach of contact and of contract you guys are rookies okay you're rookies we have to go okay it doesn't even matter bye game. Bye. I hate it. I quit. Bye. Now back to the Lady Gang. Our guest today first caught our attention as the bridge between Heidi and Lauren on their hit reality show, The Hills. With her, we fell in and out and in and out of love with Justin Bobby over and over again. And I can still tell if we don't know if we love him or we hate him, even at the end of The Hills. And then she
Starting point is 00:10:33 also made us fall in love with the L.A. music scene. Honestly, nine years later, it feels like Nothing has changed in the Hills' new beginnings. That is beside everyone having mini 2.0s of themselves. Oh, children? Children. She's an entrepreneur, a fashion designer who just launched her very own swimmer line. This is a great time for me to talk about my vacation to the Seychelles. It's called Prey Swim, but you also have to have her body to look amazing in it, right?
Starting point is 00:10:58 Do I need a better butt? Probably. Please welcome to the show the ever so beautiful and talented Adrena Patric. Welcome. That was maybe the worst one I've ever done And I'll tell you why I'm going to be honest We've been trying to get you on the show for four years
Starting point is 00:11:13 We were just talking about it It took us about four million emails To get you here tonight But even before It's not your fault We are very busy But even before Hills came back We were like we should get Audrina
Starting point is 00:11:29 She's so great We couldn't find you And then there's been this Hills thing Where you weren't allowed to talk to anyone you were on like the down gag order and now the gag order has been shortly released for a short amount of time and then you're gonna go back under gag order for season two it's really hard because like we're not allowed to post or really it's really hard we have to like literally go in hibernation yeah hibernating yeah it's so weird yeah has this just been a trip to be like because
Starting point is 00:11:55 you were busy the whole time but like yeah i mean it's hard because back then like when we used to film the show we didn't have social media right so we didn't have all these rules we lived life we did whatever there was paparazzi and like you know gossip mags would say things that maybe were there was or wasn't true no one really knew some of the stuff we would read and it's like wow where did they get that but now with social media we have to be so careful even with filming because people will sit there and film us filming and the producers get pissed yeah so it's a whole new journey on this new hill stuff has it been harder because now you get so much feedback from people like commenting on all your shit yeah kind of it's like i'm such a private i like to have my
Starting point is 00:12:41 privacy but like i get with being on a reality show there's not much privacy to add um but for my daughter's sake you know even going out it's just certain things i don't want everyone to judge and know like they don't need to know everything and even when kira gets older like i don't want her to go online and read certain things and you know it's like crazy after you have a child you're so protective and your mentality is so different your face is like just so good oh my god you do look so good you're so beautiful tell us about your face do you are you eat perfectly right i try yeah you eat pretty good do you drink a lot of water she got a water not a coke here she didn't ask us for any candy i'm very lucky i have two amazing sisters one does facials and
Starting point is 00:13:28 all of that stuff so i go to her like every other week and then my other sister she just microbladed my eyebrows they're great it looks great yeah last night i think oh and she does fiber blasting and stuff too which i haven't tried but it's fine i have so many questions about that do i have you done it no but i'm going to well it's like is it where you eat like a ton No, no, no. It's like a plasma pen, which basically they do all these little dots. I thought it was like where you eat a bunch of fiber and it blasts out all your poop like a colonic. You're an idiot. That's so gross.
Starting point is 00:14:01 That's disgusting. No, it's basically like this pen that burns little dots on your skin and then it shrinks up your skin. Well, yeah. So basically any lines or if you have saggy skin or like if you're super puffy or like, I don't know, like your neck above your knees your elbows like your stomach wherever you want to tighten skin um it like it's amazing like she does it to clients and they look like they've had a facelift but it's so subtle and it's natural and it's your own body regenerating cells how long does it take to heal oh i mean it's just like a bad sunburn kind of like probably a week yeah it's like a week can i do my entire thigh yeah like can i do you can do it everywhere it's like for wrinkles
Starting point is 00:14:42 are saggy skin okay this is what she's like so my thought is as we get older like it's so upsetting above your knees it's so bad it's so upsetting well becca has a rule no no knees over 30 i don't know i don't want to see i love my knees after 30 i think my knees are still good that's all i have mine aren't but i don't care just fibroblast them i'm gonna try it okay if i start wearing shorts again you know um okay so was there anyone on the season that you hated in the original that you were like i kind of dig you now um i've never really hated because you're like i'm oprah of the hills everyone loves you you love everyone you're like i don't know you're very mediatory i am and i just i diffuse things and i stay away from the drama i've never been
Starting point is 00:15:27 dramatic or confrontational even in high school i never had drama until i was on the hills and i was involved with so much drama i didn't know what to do with it or how to handle it and all these crazy mean girls um but now this past season stephanie and i had a lot of um moments of not liking each other and just like well they set you up they set you up to lose do they set you up of course they do well i know that they do but like do they know kind of what they're gonna get out of you i think that was her just doing her thing that's just stephanie being sad it was rude but i never thought she'd come after me and it's like it wasn't your fault Well, I just, the whole thing with her and Justin, I honestly didn't care if they were together or not.
Starting point is 00:16:09 It was more for me, for Justin, it was betrayal because I've known him for so long. Right. And we had been talking for so long and like, it's like he was trying to play the field a little bit. And I just like, I like people to be straight up and honest. Yeah. Like just tell me up front. And Stephanie was trying to be like that, but then behind my back saying things and just being fake to my face. And I just got really frustrating.
Starting point is 00:16:32 What was crazy is that the evolution of you from, like, first time around as, like, a 20s to, like, a 30s, you are the, like, picturesque evolution of all girls. Because, like, young you is like, I think I believe him. And then, like, 30s you is like, yes, this is an icon for the new generation. Because you were like, just be straight up with me. Like, I don't care. I want the truth. No. And you're like, wait, this is our red flag.
Starting point is 00:16:59 He's not picking me up to go to the concert? yeah yeah like you know like it was in the worlds of kylie jenner this year was about you realizing stuff it really was 2019 that's what she said it was like a whole meme yeah this year's like all about realizing did you have a moment going back where you regretted it going back to do the new to do the new um the only thing i regret i was like going through the hardest thing i've ever been through my entire life with the divorce and custody and just like you know i lost 25 pounds um just from stress and then I emotionally wasn't at my best or strong and I was trying to be strong for my daughter and then we started filming and I had to like try to put this face on and I just
Starting point is 00:17:43 like I never cried so much in my life on that show it was I mean yeah it was the hardest time for me but I had a lot of support from everyone and luckily with filming it's like I could kind of not think about what I was really going through and just focus on this stupid drama right which helped me get through it that's an interesting way of thinking about it because i'm sure that is a nice way to like disassociate from all the real shit that's going on yeah that that really helped me when we discussed spencer yeah did spencer was he able to give you any crystals to help you not my question heidi gave me one rose crystal that's it he gave us a rose that No, I was so full of shit.
Starting point is 00:18:23 I want to talk about that he's made for reality television. Oh, yes. Him and Heidi are, like, perfect for reality. Perfect. Like, yeah, they're so amazing at always filming themselves. And, like, every day, like, I just don't have it in me. Like, half the time I don't even have my phone and I'll check my messages when I go to bed. I'm just not that person.
Starting point is 00:18:42 But they are, like, it's so good. It's crazy to watch. They're in it. They're, like, you are in this machine. You are the machine. I can't believe Spencer didn't give you like a nicer rap gif, though. I'm going to, we're going to get after him. No, you need like a fucking geode.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Yeah, one of those $10,000 Christmas. Yeah, this is like you're a castmate. I don't, a little rose quartz? Maybe second season we'll all get. Season two, it's up. Yeah. So when you heard there's a second season, were you like, or were you like, like relieved, happy? Because it can be kind of like a mix of emotions.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Well, it was really, really stressful. And I was like, you know what? I'm actually kind of excited because now I'm in a better place. I kind of, I've reconnected with the whole cast. We kind of know how we all are now. The ins and outs and the drama and who's real and who's not. And yeah, it's like, I think it'll be way better second season. And now it's like, like any show, second season's always better because after watching the first, you hear what everyone's saying about each other.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Oh, and that's going to be deeper. Game on for second season. um okay i'm hearing rumors that um miley cyrus is coming on season two or that while the caitlin miley thing happened they were filming i don't think so no i mean the cameras went down we stopped filming you weren't filming early august were you shocked i mean the rest of the world like did you know this was all happening because i'll tell you something when i do you remember when i was making the rounds i did an interview with you like across at the restaurant or whatever oh my And then I went out to Brody and Caitlin's house in Malibu.
Starting point is 00:20:14 And I was like, in my mind, I was like, does she live here? Cause she like had a bag with her. And I was like, this is so weird. I think they had already split up before the season began. Anyway, you can't say, but that's okay. But, but no Miley Cyrus then. No. Cause I texted Spencer and I was like, Miley, Miley just got you a season two.
Starting point is 00:20:34 And he's like, I know. Yeah, of course. He's like, totally. I mean, I feel like that was just such a quick thing. It was like two weeks. Yeah. I don't think MTV would allow a huge production to fly to Italy and film all that. Like, no way.
Starting point is 00:20:50 That didn't happen. There was no cameras there. Unfortunately. Just paparazzi everywhere. Just paparazzi. Everywhere. Like, how dumb. They don't care.
Starting point is 00:21:00 They don't care. Yeah. I'm sure that, yeah. Who cares? Okay. um what do you think that the show got gets right about you and what do you think they get wrong um gosh at this point I wish I could feel more of like me being a mom and what I really do on a day-to-day but like I'm protecting my daughter I just don't it's not ready for that especially
Starting point is 00:21:21 with what I'm going through um but I feel like this past season was pretty it was compared to how it used to be they never really let me speak my mind or they'd always edit what i said out and it was always the stairs and it's like i had so much to say you didn't show it my whole monologue yeah so now you know they do that a little bit still but at least i get to i get to with the confessionals now or whatever we get to actually like speak our mind and say how we felt okay you guys didn't have confessionals before no love a good confession so that was just like our life everything was in the hands of the producer and that was that
Starting point is 00:22:01 now with doing these interviews we kind of know, okay so this is how that's going and what do you want me to say again? great, now we can finally get to the part of the interview I'm very interested in I'm going on a big vacation to the Seychelles that I've been talking about for nine months
Starting point is 00:22:17 because I have no life and I'm one of those regular people that just looks forward to things yeah, you're a regular person it's okay, I have not been on vacation in almost what two years yeah and you would be excited for me thank you i'm so excited for you i'm gonna literally live vicariously what's the secret to looking great in a bikini when you have no breasts and you have no breasts i have no boobs you've got to have some boob not you definitely do oh my god i need to send you this too it's called the top is called not happening yeah
Starting point is 00:22:47 it's literally not but what if they push together oh my god you have great boobs you just need some Yeah, but then what happens when you're so padded, it just flips up. See, our top that's not happening, it's called that. It literally has no padding, but it brings your boobs together. Oh, that's the key. I'll send it to you. That's what it is. It's not happening.
Starting point is 00:23:07 And it's the shape of how we designed it and how it ties in the back. Okay, so it'll be happening? So if I tag you from the Seychelles and I'm like, it's happening. Yes. Oh, wait, when are you going? I'm going in December. Okay, I need to send you. and then like okay now here's my real question so when i look on the internet and i'm picking
Starting point is 00:23:27 out my swimsuits right everyone looks so good and then i put the swimsuit on and i'm like chris take a picture of me and i take a picture it's not the same you gotta start okay you gotta get a spray tan yeah obviously everything look better um and then you know even before you go they have all those like bum bum brazilian creams that you can use on your butt i don't know they smell really good i think i think it does tighten your skin yeah yeah because it does it does tighten it and then it's like confidence right and just confidence and work out before you go like i've been going to this place in orange county called lightning fit and it's ems training so it's literally go work out for 25 minutes hooked up to these electrical things and it's equivalent to
Starting point is 00:24:09 three hours in the gym oh i need that what yeah and you leave like i my arms like i go once a week now and that's all i really need it's you should just they have them everywhere now and then my final try that my final swimsuit question is when you're 30s what is the appropriate amount of butt coverage it depends i feel like you need a boyfriend suit a family suit a vegas suit you need like this surfer the kids there's a suit for every vacation or occasion okay um right but if you're going to seychelles with your husband or boyfriend husband you need a sexy cheeky you need the vegas suit well it's you want to get tan you're gonna be in seychelles but then you also should get like a cute one piece you could wear with skirts or shorts and then you make it one
Starting point is 00:24:56 piece yeah you make all kinds yes um okay now i'm gonna add just one last thing about me i also have a tramp stamp and i'm concerned that i tried i tried so hard to laser hit or laser remove it before this trip can i see it yeah it's gotten better like but it's definitely no and it's a chinese you pulled it down too much wait i feel like it looks so bad it might look worse than before you started i think it does how many more sessions oh no you can't even lie it doesn't look good how many sessions have you done i've gone to like six sessions and they said you need 12 or something and i'm like and it gets worse every time you know like they turn it they crank it up you look like you're 80 it's like a faded henna tattoo i'm sorry
Starting point is 00:25:49 kelty what does it say again women hold up the sky allegedly i don't think it does my mom gave me a card when i first left home and it had this symbol on it and that said women hold her biggest regret is giving you that card wait i have a more important question enough about your body and your vacation jesus christ so having a daughter yeah and going through the madness of your life and like being on camera at a young age and like what what is the advice you want to give to your daughter like what is like the biggest thing i think for me i i especially from what I've been through I've always been such a hard-headed person where I'm like I don't care what advice they're giving me I have to learn the hard way I have to experience it myself but with
Starting point is 00:26:41 my daughter I wanted her to learn through other people's mistakes and kind of observe what they do and don't fall into peer pressure say no and don't feel bad for saying no don't be a people pleaser like yeah yeah because that's what I've done through all through my 20s and I wish someone would have told me that I think it's cool that she's gonna eventually be able to see you kind of go through oh my gosh when would you let her watch all the episodes i don't know like like maybe 50 years old 16 or 17 so i can teach her right from wrong yeah you're like these are the guys you don't date and this is why or no justin bobby differently yeah yeah i think it's cool justin bobby is hot but you know his music is terrible like adrena it is so bad concert that
Starting point is 00:27:28 nobody was at it was that was the most painful scene it was embarrassing the whole season because we have all been that girl that's been like yeah i'll come to your show but we were like 21 and we went we're like this is horrible i think it's like it was acoustic too and i was like wait you're singing you're doing an acoustic show wait i have a question was it open to the public like people buy tickets no it was private i don't think probably just for the cast of the hill I honestly don't know. I think it was the cast, and then they invited some people. To, like, fill the room.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Yeah. But they didn't. That person is fired because the room was not filled. Yeah. Justin's been through. He's not a good singer. He needs a new career, right? I know you're friends, but.
Starting point is 00:28:08 He's a hairdresser or something, isn't he? Well, okay. We first met when I was, like, 19 or 20, and I was a receptionist. He was a hairdresser, like, assisting Steven Meisel, and that's where we met. So he originally did hair. He did my hair. And then he always, he was always the drummer, but he would always wear this hat and he was always kind of shy to be front man.
Starting point is 00:28:30 And then like, I guess however many years ago he started front manning his own. Nope. No. The jig is up, Justin Bobby. Justin. He read too many inspirational quotes about like chasing your dreams and life being too short. And then he's like, forget it.
Starting point is 00:28:45 I am the front man. Oh my God. Wait, not everybody. We all start. Not every man is a front man. We don't all need to chase our dreams. Sometimes you can just lightly dip dabble. In a part time.
Starting point is 00:29:02 What are you, speaking of chasing dreams, and we're not going to squander yours because you're actually skilled and intelligent. I won't be a front man. She's like, I'm starting a band. Actually, my album comes out in three weeks. I'm so excited. My lead singer's called, my single's called Jam. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:18 What do you want to be doing? What do you want to do when you grow up? When you grow up. When I grow up in another 10 years. Yeah. I, like, I really want to focus on my swim line and really expand that. I want to do little kid stuff and then men's and accessories. Cool.
Starting point is 00:29:32 And then I, like, my dream is to open this, like, amazing spa, like a boutique spa where you go in and every, you choose your experience. And I have it all wrote down in a notebook. Don't say too much. Don't say the name. But that's, like, that's my ultimate goal. I think it'd be so cool. you lay down for the facial and it's just just popping no i hate you no i think you get a fedora placed on your head to match him well we need something to replace the the korean spas where
Starting point is 00:30:03 everyone's getting staph infection this week i was like becca i want to go to the spa she's like you can't no way i've actually never been oh they're so good though there's a spa in new york i always go to it's called iry and it's wait air or air but yes i guess it's like a y r a i r I always called it air and they told me it was pronounced I-R-E. Oh, then I have the wrong information. I don't know. But it's amazing, right? It's so amazing. It's so cool. There's nothing else like that. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Okay, now we're going to play a game. Okay. Okay, the game is called The Hills Have Words. Interesting. What about The Hills Have Mouths? Is that a play on The Hills Have Eyes? Yes. Rude. Obviously. Or The Hills Have
Starting point is 00:30:47 Stairs. the hills have mouths it's a new game i created um so what do you want your sound to be beep beep sure what's the sound i don't know digging in sound i wish i okay that seems like your buzzer yeah you have to buzz okay so i'm gonna read a famous quote from the hills and you're gonna buzz in we're gonna see who said it can get the most okay am i playing this too yeah okay what's your but wait did she have her buzzer noise okay okay sorry i'm laughing at my own self all right because i know because i have this big note that i made about the bikini top not happening so i held it up to start looking not in the middle which adds to the excitement in
Starting point is 00:31:32 the front yes push up okay here we go i'm trying to live a more positive holy life but it takes were it's hard incorrect it's between adrina and jack i'll finish the quote it's hard not sinning you know oh not is sinning spencer correct one point adrina i knew it was either heidi or spencer okay next is this only from this season no it's back back to the so we've got lc and okay everyone okay okay three two wait no no it's just the game here we go next one Homeboy wore combat boots to the beat. Oh, yeah. Lauren.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Oh. That's good. Two for Audrina. Damn, that sounds like something you'd say. Okay. Next. She will always be known as the girl who didn't go to Paris. Whitney?
Starting point is 00:32:22 Incorrect. Elsie? Incorrect. It was to her. It was about her. Who said that, though? So I'm the last person. Was it you?
Starting point is 00:32:30 She'll always be known as Heidi? No. It was a girl named Lisa Love. Who the fuck is that? Why? What the hell is that? She was the chick from Teen Vogue. Teen Vogue.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Yeah. The chick. The woman. Never mind. Continue. Okay, next. Okay, next. This is an off-air question.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Continue. Okay, next. This is for the win. Okay. I want to forgive you, and I want to forget. Justin. I should let you finish. No.
Starting point is 00:32:59 You are incorrect. I want to forgive you, and I want to forget. Oh, God, no. I'm thinking of the wrong one. Oh, my God. Adrena. No. That was
Starting point is 00:33:05 Boring Yes Yeah Jack one point What did she say I want to forgive you And I want to forget you Wasn't it to Heidi
Starting point is 00:33:12 Remember with the mascara It's to Heidi Yeah Okay How did I I'm thinking of the other one That Justin said To you
Starting point is 00:33:19 I'm sure you have it on there No I don't Truth in time tells all Oh jeez That is such a What the fuck is that I remember I was dating a fuck boy
Starting point is 00:33:28 And he was like You know what virtue You really need to work on Patience And I was like At the time I was like I don't have time for this You're right
Starting point is 00:33:34 I do need patience. But it was just because he didn't want to be my boyfriend. He wanted to have 100 girlfriends. I didn't want to be patient. I wanted to be his girlfriend, and he was not. Yeah, when it's right, there doesn't need to be patience. It just happens in a moment. That's actually, you know what virtue you need to work on?
Starting point is 00:33:50 What a douchebag. Yeah, it was so dark. Okay, next. Last game. Okay, here we go. I'm sorry that I walked up to her and was saying hi to my friends, and you guys came at me like piranhas. Oh.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Feisty. Is that Kristen? Yes. Cavallari. That's pretty good. The queen of the hills is Adrena. Good job. Good job.
Starting point is 00:34:13 You did it. You win nothing. When we come back. No, you win our love and praise. Yes. When we come back, you're going to fix our lives. You're listening to The Lady Gang. Jacqueline, we're back.
Starting point is 00:34:26 We're back. All right. So this is kind of like a Dear Abby thing. Our listeners writing questions, we give them advice. Okay. It doesn't have to be good. okay first question is come well what we're gonna try to make it we try to make it we try to make it good we try our best yeah first question comes from dumping toxic she says my group of five
Starting point is 00:34:42 girlfriends and i met during the first week of freshman year seven years later spread over three different states we're still together however i'm starting to realize that one of the friends will call her nancy is toxic for my well-being nothing i can say or do is right and nothing seems to earn me any points with her i constantly feel like she thinks i'm the villain in her story in 2019 it's been my mission to get rid of things that aren't serving my well-being and although we were super close at one time things have clearly changed problem is that six of us have group chats on every social media i'm super close to everyone else and completely cutting her out would cause cause a huge riff and a lot of drama any advice you don't have to cut her out just keep her on
Starting point is 00:35:21 the freeway a little bit like she could still be around but i she doesn't have to be her best friend or try so hard like she has all the other girls if she doesn't get along with her it's fine yeah yeah don't give her all the attention and it feels like one of those things you could kind of like slowly phase out it doesn't need to be like a big blowout you're like sitting down and talking about like why you hate each other when you see each other at the wedding and you're seated next to each other like oh my god i haven't seen you in so long how are you you don't talk yeah we do it this on the show all the time yeah no spencer was like if i'm not getting paid i'm not talking to these it was like hilarious i was like oh my god i get it i mean i would just like
Starting point is 00:36:00 Be cordial, you know, just treat her like it's someone you just met. And like, it doesn't mean you have to like go over and beyond and try to like be her best friend or, you know. Yeah. You can, you can phase people out. It doesn't have to like be a big deal. I like to do a new thing called, how's your Christmas? Where like once a year I like write the people that I.
Starting point is 00:36:20 But this girl's in a bunch of like group chats with all of her other best friends. Well, I'm just saying it's a great thing for me. How's your Christmas? How's your Christmas? Hope you're doing great. That seems aggressive. That does. Nobody wants to answer that question.
Starting point is 00:36:30 no christmas like what it's such a weird way to check i hate that it's like what's new like i don't want to talk to you i'm not answering that if you send it to me i see you all the time i wish i didn't i quit this month we've just been like just quitting just whenever everybody's just quitting just when we started to do well we're like we're out we're like the spice girls i'm like mel what's her name no red hair ginger that's jerry gotta go gotta have my solo career okay did she have a soul okay the second question comes from anonymous i'm turning 26 at the end of the year and i'm feeling so lost i got married at 21 and had a baby in january but now halfway through my 20s i feel like i'm losing sight of who i am i want to go to college but i can't decide on
Starting point is 00:37:16 a career path nor can i afford to go full time i am the only one of my friends who didn't go to college is married and has a kid and i often find myself being jealous of them i'm so happy in my role as a wife and a mom but i have no time for myself and fear my soul searching opportunity has already passed how can i get back to finding and being there for me even just five minutes a day it's you have to do that for yourself i mean it's setting boundaries it's creating if you don't have at least an hour for yourself a day you're gonna lose it and and then once a week or once every two weeks like a girl's night out even if it's just for dinner or a drink like i think it's so important to make you time or you lose yourself and then you start resenting and getting depressed
Starting point is 00:38:00 or upset. So at what age, this is a selfish question. I'm just figuring out if I want to have children at what age, can you have your life back? Like when you're a kid, like what age of the kid? Here's three. So I think the first year for me, it was literally just devoted to her. And then I was getting back hormonally and like getting normal again. And then the second year got a little easier now that she's three it's like the best like yeah it's okay leaving her she's like bye mommy I'll see you later like she loves her you know she's my sister and that and then yeah it's and we go on little dates and we have the best time and she can talk now it's I think three well as soon as they're like two and a half or three it's everything's easier did you have a
Starting point is 00:38:44 moment after having her where you were like what the did I just do I think the first year was just really hard in general not only with having a baby with what I was going through with my ex and everything um it was really emotional and then yeah it's like post part like you just experience so much with your body and trying to get balanced again because having a baby like it really takes everything out of you yeah um but yeah I just made it a main focus of going to therapy church really helped me and like working out eating healthy just staying like on a straight healthy path it's good i don't know you're gonna be able to eat healthy i'm scared of hormones yeah she's like you know what helps it's gnarly yeah acupuncture really helps too really oh really
Starting point is 00:39:30 yeah really it really helps a lot it's like your body's being hijacked yeah like it's no longer yours and then it's all confused and out of whack and you're like oh my god why am i crying right now yeah it's a mustard commercial were you were you a super emotional person before no and you weren't and it just switched on yeah after i had kira now i literally just cry over like i don't know what happened and i used to get tons of spicy food now i can't really eat spicy food like after you have a baby little things change yeah they just change or big things like your entire body or your whole life i mean yours did not my belly button is not the same like your things do change you don't look so in shape it's like insane okay last question comes from dick sand
Starting point is 00:40:14 at Drowner. Wow. She says, my boyfriend and I were... So, the dick sand is basically when you're, like, super obsessed with a guy, and then you're getting stuck in the dick sand, and you, like, shake it up. Oh. I'm gonna have to use that term on this show next season. It's a good one. You should. You should. Guy got lost in the dick sand.
Starting point is 00:40:30 Okay. She says, my boyfriend and I were broken up for about a month when he hit me up with the quote, I miss you, I still love you, I'm sorry messages. Thank you. I went against my better judgment to hear him out. Long story short, we talked for about a week, hung out, and hooked up. He then ghosted me out of nowhere this was shocking considering he was the one wanting to work on things is that
Starting point is 00:40:48 shocking really i'm in my mid-20s decently hot funny successful i'm decently hot funny funny successful and wildly humble my question is why do you guys think it's okay and how do i have enough willpower to tell him or any guy to go themselves next time they try to come back now my feelings are all hurt well it's hurt because she's so emotionally attached to him if she didn't care about him and just wanted to get some it'd be one thing if you have some random guy if it's some random guy it's because she has that emotional attachment to him from their history so it's probably not the best idea to get all wrapped up in that no never go back to an ex no never good trust me once it's over it is over for a reason what's the quote if you love
Starting point is 00:41:35 that if you love if you love somebody you set them free if they come back nobody else wanted them set them free again yeah quote of our lives quote of our lives adrena thank you for coming so you guys haven't started filming yet no you have a long time it kind of keeps getting pushed back a little bit so okay i don't know there's so many different things going on with it so i'm actually to be honest thrilled glad yeah yeah you need a break because we only just stopped filming in august yeah we didn't really have time off we filmed for a year straight so it's kind of nice to have like two or three months of me time and just i love this okay well i can't wait to go shop pray swim um thank you very much for being here i'm it's not happening not with a k yes all
