Starting point is 00:00:50 Things are about to change around here. Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to The Lady Gang. I'm Becca Tobin here with Kelty Knight and Jack Vanek. I'm so excited. I'm so excited. Guys, this is a get.
Starting point is 00:01:08 You guys, we, I mean, we have some cool people on this podcast, but this, she's an icon. Icon. Icon status. Status. Let's hurry up with our Good Week, Bad Week. Yeah, let's get through this because we've got people. It's time for... Good Week.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Yes, it is. Bad Week. Oh, no. Jack? oh kelsey i'm just gonna call on you by all means go first my jackie thank you my good week is i have a new amazing binge worthy tv show and i am i feel like i use this all the time what is it have you ever heard of love island it's like big brother meets bachelor in paradise but it's british and they have all these single people out on an island and they tape them 24 7 and it's all
Starting point is 00:01:54 surveillance kind of cameras there's no like cameras that walk around and follow them i don't know those are called single cam handy cam like like a steady cam steady cam so it's all just all these cameras set up and all of their interviews are just like old school confessional where they just sit down and talk and it is so dramatic and amazing and it airs their live so people can watch it and then vote people off and then if you're new on the island you've seen everything that's going on so you can like oh so they add people they add people they kick people you know the shingles you have to couple up with somebody i've been watching it on hulu it's been around for like five years so there's a bunch of seasons but wow it's amazing and anybody that
Starting point is 00:02:30 loves the bachelor would love it because it takes up are you leaving us for a show am i gonna go on love island i don't think so just wondering absolutely not love island my bad week is um i mean we get enough like hater comments on our uh reviews and stuff and now that i've started another podcast that i am not an expert in the field whatsoever i get some new hater comments oh and they're true crime hater comment true crime hater comment here's my favorite title why is jack vanek on this show comment she's the least qualified and kind of stupid i'd rather hear the experts slash professionals talk about these cases not the basic chick that snorts on the lady gang how dare she three stars three stars yeah wow okay well you do you what's worse if our show
Starting point is 00:03:22 comes out and people are like oh my god like jack is so bad i hate her i hate her but then they're like but i love the show or is it better to just be like i love jack so much but this show sucks dick like for myself which is worse or for you i think you i'm not voting on this yourself i mean they're both bad but maybe if the show's great then you're like i suck then i and we get a second season but i'm still making as much money as you assholes so yeah you laugh your way to the bank i mean people are definitely gonna hate me and that's okay i'm like i don't think they're gonna hate you i think they're gonna be i like it it's like sex in the city no one wanted to be the Miranda but there's a Miranda out there you know what I mean I think a lot of people identify with
Starting point is 00:04:08 you I think so too that's what I'm saying for each of us there'll be people who hate you and people who love you people say to me and I see on Instagram or whatever that they are the Kelty but and I think this is the reason why not that I don't think there's a lot of people that like you no no but I think that people that are type a are so type a that they're like oh my god that's me i make a million less too i know you know it's so true okay okay here's my bad week who shall be called on next okay here's my bad week as a home okay as a homeowner i've been very lucky knock on wood and it's an older home but when we bought the house this isn't wood when we bought this isn't either knock on the wall knock on the wall okay that's not wood how's our no i hate not
Starting point is 00:04:55 being a block oh my god there's no way i found it okay so i've been pretty lucky even though it's an older house like everybody's like get ready for home ownership yeah yeah worse you're gonna be fixing things and blah blah blah blah like whatever whatever it's fine so i go to open up the pantry door the other day the whole thing the entire thing with like 85 spices on the rack comes crashing down and slams down on my foot can't it's not an easy fix it ripped away from the wall so there's that then the next day no hot water nothing no hot water call the plumber oh you need a new hot water what hot water heater and we have to bring it up to code and in the room outside it's like outside the house yeah in like a little shed area there's rat shit everywhere
Starting point is 00:05:41 everywhere because apparently the rats go there to warm up warm how do you know this because i'm a homeowner yeah but like how i thought i could dodge this bullet no you can't dodge no one can no and did you get a tankless we're not talking about this on the podcast it's way too boring it's way too boring
Starting point is 00:05:57 the tankless was like three times the price I know but but anyway okay it's it's the worst
Starting point is 00:06:03 I'm sorry friend it's okay here's my good week please don't play with that oh love you so much actually and the podcast is over
Starting point is 00:06:10 I hid them all under the thing so no one would play with them okay my good week is also about a TV show oh ours no
Starting point is 00:06:16 my good week is oh my god it's been so fun filming the lady game no said everyone ever so i feel like ever since like gossip girl and like all those shows went off the air i really have felt empty not really but there hasn't been something to fill it i really like a shitty like not shitty but like melodramatic blah blah you on lifetime is filling that void for me it's penn badgley so he was in gossip girl who he was like my
Starting point is 00:06:48 my choice if i could have my yeah he was hot and he's so good in this and he's so he's so creepy sexy in this and i'm like i think i found my new gossip girl like 10 years later i've never even heard of that show it's on lifetime which is weird because like i feel like lifetime went all true crime yeah i mean it has to do with a little crime you wish no it has there's a little bit of a crime oh there's a little there's a little sex it's dark at their makeouts and sex oh so hot i love watching young people have sex and be like i remember that when i would have that when the lights were on missionary sex with the lights on so wonderful what's your turn kelty um my good week is that i was recently in the uk and i saw a sign for a show that i feel like i need to host
Starting point is 00:07:39 be on or be an actor in i don't know what the actor i don't know an actor now well no i don't know what the show is because i haven't been able to find it anymore so i'm i'm gonna have the lady gang like get involved but it's called the ultimate warrior show and i saw the poster in london and i didn't like really have time to get deeply involved in like what the show was but based on the title alone it's my show and so if it is a competition and there's any money to be won uk lady gang please reach out to me and let me know how i can apply because i think i would be excellent on the ultimate warrior show wow that's that's great thank you bad week bad week no that was my good week i said bad week oh like get to it yeah okay my bad week is kind of sad oh god well so this
Starting point is 00:08:25 week i think that i had my first ever you know how people are like oh my god i'm gonna have a nervous breakdown i'm gonna have a nervous breakdown and i think i had my first nervous breakdown or anxiety break anxiety attack yeah because this is what it felt like my head went all tingly I couldn't feel my hands I couldn't feel my feet I thought I was hyperventilating I could not stop crying and it was like half of my brain was like I know what I know I need to calm down like calm down it's all gonna be okay but the other half of my brain was like there will be no calming down and I feel so good to feel like am I high am I drunk am I orgasming am i feeling the worst i've ever felt in my life it was like a full break and it happened around
Starting point is 00:09:08 something we were doing together with lady gang and i i think this is like my bad week because i've never really felt like this i've always been a warrior and i've been emotional but i've never had like a full crack open it was the best thing ever because now i'm like healed like i'm like i'm a lotus it happens again right i'm sure it will but i did want to say you know we always like laugh and talk about our vaginas and stuff but it's pretty cool that like in the past three years that we've developed a friendship where when like shit like that happens we can all like i tried to call you i know i was talking to becca sorry um but you know it's like i don't know i think you guys could tell that i was like getting stressed out and like losing my mind but now
Starting point is 00:09:47 like to have that was really scary but it's also nice to like i know you suffer with anxiety but like have people around you that are like hey like we like want you to be better than this so like pull it together and like you know so anyway to all everyone struggling out there you will get through your anxiety attack and brighter days will come that's nice speaking of i have even more anxiety now after seeing our guest because her little baby will never be that hot never never have been never will be good downhill from here for us good luck okay when we come back hotness now back to the lady gang our guest today has been a hollywood staple for decades and was first discovered by no big deal prince did you guys know that no no fun fact as a star on baywatch
Starting point is 00:10:36 she threw out the notions that women could only be hot or smart and she slow motion ran into stardom and our hearts she's a host an author a model a movie star a video game character a guest judge on my favorite show so you think you can dance and also britain's got talent which i've never seen A TV star appearing on hit shows like Jane the Virgin and House But most importantly Many, many, many, many moons ago When I had a mullet I went and saw Carmen perform live
Starting point is 00:11:00 At the Crazy Horse Paris in Las Vegas You did? And she has more dancing talent in her pinky toe Than most of us do in her entire bodies It was crazy She's a full package, triple threat And she recently broke the damn internet More on that a little bit later
Starting point is 00:11:16 But please welcome to the Lady Gang Miss Carmen Electra oh my god can i hug you for that intro i have one correction yeah you said she threw out the notion that women could be hot and smart i think you meant hot or smart yeah oh yeah it's true you know what it's because i'm nervous because when i saw you at the crazy horse there was this number where it was like you were in a box and they had all these wires and you were like playing off them it was the greatest thing to the to the point where it was so good that then a couple i mean many years later the victoria's secret fashion show happened in paris and i took
Starting point is 00:11:58 my co-host kevin frazier we're there working and um and i was like what should we do in paris i was like no no we gotta go to the crazy horse paris it is the greatest show you've ever seen in your life the girls are so talented you're gonna love it so i take him and his wife yes the crazy horse there it was fine it was no Carmen Electra crazy horse there was no girl doing that dance which was like mind-blowing I know I was like I was honestly when I'm in rehearsals and everything I was looking at those girls because they're six feet tall yeah I mean you know leggy very leggy you know there is a certain style you have to learn yeah I had a lot of rehearsals just to prepare for it but um i don't know maybe it's because of that number in particular it was kind of like a
Starting point is 00:12:50 you can just take it it was like a jungle number like aggressive so you know uh that kind of was my like the style of dance that i mostly did and i i don't know i just went for it but like i i i love that show so much but thank you for the huge compliment because i you know i just adore that show and felt honored to do it speaking of being naked on stage i'm just kidding um you broke the internet it's like a week now the internet has been broken we haven't picked it up off the floor no girl i was like let me just see carmen's coming tomorrow let me see what's going on with her and like i saw it a week ago and then i was like oh no new outlets are posting it every single day so So if you haven't seen it, for all of our listeners, Carmen is – can I say how old you are?
Starting point is 00:13:41 Is that okay? Sure. No, I love mine. She's 46 years young. That's insane. It has a body that is banging and such a youthful energy. But she does these photos with this famed photographer, Eli. Eli, who is like such an artist.
Starting point is 00:13:56 He works with Kanye, shoots his campaigns. It's crazy. Just did all of Gaga's, you know, shoots. It's insane. So that's why I really wanted to work with him. And if I was going to go – if I was going to, you know, take the clothes off again. Yeah. You know, he was – this was it.
Starting point is 00:14:11 This was the guy. The photos are stunning. I mean, they're so – like, they're editorial, but they're so beautiful. But on top of that, like, I'm, like, getting closer to 40, and I'm like, oh, no, this is never going to be good again. Like, it's starting to fall apart. It's not – and now I'm like, well, no. Like, Carmen's like – she's 46, and she's the most banging body I've ever seen. So, like, yay to you for, like, getting rid of the age and, like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:14:39 So tell me all about that. Honestly, I just feel how I feel. And a lot of people will want to sort of control who you should be because of a number. And, you know, we all are who we still are. You know what I mean? Like, there's still the child inside of us. There's the wounded little girl or whatever. Yeah. And, you know, I just I don't believe in that. I mean, when like, I don't know, for instance, like I look at Madonna and and, you know, like some of her latest campaigns for her skin care line, she is killing it. Yeah. And, you know, you have to you have to follow your heart and do what you want to do.
Starting point is 00:15:22 And if you feel, you know, within yourself that you, you know, don't want to do those things, that's your choice. And that's, you know, you can't really listen to what people, you know, try to mold you to be. You know, in my career, that happened to me. And so I just, you know, I've had the attitude of like, you know what, I'm going to do what I want to do. Yeah. And that's it, you know. And if people don't like it, I'm sorry. You'll understand.
Starting point is 00:15:52 You'll understand. Because when you're in your 40s, you realize, like, people will say, oh, my God, you're still a baby. It's so interesting. It's just the number doesn't really matter. It doesn't. Well, especially when you look like you look. Yeah. I'm like, that's why.
Starting point is 00:16:08 That's actually exactly why. Do you feel like internally that you feel younger? Like, my mom always says that she has the same mind as she did when she was 25. Like, she still feels young. That's absolutely, 100% correct. I feel, sometimes I feel like I'm in my 20s. Wow. But it's just a lot of knowledge.
Starting point is 00:16:30 You learn a lot through the years. A wiser 20-something. You become a lot wiser. But it doesn't mean that you don't want to go to Disneyland and wear a silly, like, you know, mini mouse ears and play, skip around. Like, I mean, I'm the most childish. person ever and i'm not you know i'm not gonna let anyone take that away from me boom well then i got annoyed with you so now i've had two things where i'm like i'm in love with you i'm loving because then i was like well how what did she do to get into this amazing shape like i mean you
Starting point is 00:17:05 never went out of shape which i think is the big secret but i've fluctuated i just know how to hide it when you know it's appropriate and i have noticed changes that is just something you can't avoid yeah so then the article is like trying to stay active is like the key thing okay here's why i'm annoyed okay the article goes the article goes what did carmen elector do to get this hot body and she's like i just drink water and dance no i know that's not true okay so just tell me right now what is the diet what are you eating for breakfast if you're just dancing and drinking water so my girl and i'm not looking like that okay so i i like i do like to eat super healthy and you know that usually consists of protein and vegetables which i learned from a friend
Starting point is 00:17:55 um who was a bodybuilder you know just keep the protein coming in and so i'll go to that but if i crave something yeah i'm air i'm gonna eat it bowl of air i love sugar okay i love sugar cake bakery goods you name it and i if i have a craving i'm gonna go with it so are you just dancing like wondering when did the gym do you go to like a barry's i'm not dancing right now yeah but um you know i i do yoga and i started doing that like not a lot of yoga just a little in the morning you know and i don't know it varies sometimes i take a little bit of a break but i've been dancing since i was five i know and so i think that muscle has memory and when i do start feeling out of shape and i see things that i don't like i know like okay get it together you know
Starting point is 00:18:54 what i mean and and then i'll i'll get a little bit more strict with myself um i started boxing and that's fun i like it see when i see something that i'm like oh i'm gonna eat all these tim tams because that'll make me feel better instantly. I think it's cool to try a lot of different things because you can get really bored. Like I was just the treadmill. I was on the treadmill. Just on the treadmill.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Then I started hiking and I got bored with that. So, I mean, I don't know. I just mix it up. What is the advice you'd give yourself in your 30s? Because we have a new thing where we don't say our ages. We just say I'm 30s. Except for you said mine. Well, I asked your mom.
Starting point is 00:19:31 I don't care. But you said I'm 40s. I'm 40s. So, like, what is one thing you would tell yourself in your 30s that our 30s should use? And what is one thing you would tell yourself in your 40s? Like, advice or just, like – What advice would I give myself in my 30s? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Like, when I was in my 30s? What would you give your younger self? I don't care what you're saying to 12-year-old Carmen. Like, I want to know what are you saying to yourself in your 30s. Yeah. In my 30s, have – like completely have gratitude for having a job that you love because that – you know, there's nothing that will make you happier and love to do the work that you do. Yeah. So find a job that you love, and I kind of took a little bit of a break because I'd been, you know, going for so long, grinding for so long, and I kind of needed, I just wanted not to feel judged.
Starting point is 00:20:27 I kind of just wanted to, you know, I don't know. And, like, I was doing things, but I just started turning down things. And now that I look back, like, am I crazy? Why did I turn that down? like that's insane I probably would have shortened that phase yeah because I think it's okay to step back and have time for yourself um I would have shortened that phase and like in my 30s I was like oh I'm getting old oh my god I'd be like shut shut the f up yeah basically shut up you're not Shut up.
Starting point is 00:21:08 30s are amazing because you're just, like, in this, like, really cool period of your life. Yep. You know, where you're getting smarter. You still look, you know, young. Decent. You look okay. I don't know. I mean, young-ish.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Oh, no. Okay, okay. Okay. Yeah, for sure. Did your knees start to sag at 30? No. What part of your body did you notice the biggest change? like for the first I've always had the this little belly thing that I have to watch um it's even I
Starting point is 00:21:45 got a saggy knee too Becca you got a saggy knee you got a saggy knee I got saggy knees not just one like I said no shorts after 30 like I've not worn a pair of shorts in three years okay what do you just say and then I'm looking at your little tiny ass and I'm like this is not fair. I think a lot of it's genetics. It is. We don't want you to just come on our podcast and only talk about your hot body. No, no, no. I'm being honest.
Starting point is 00:22:14 It's the belly for you. That's your spot. I was sitting and I felt like a roll and I was like, it just freaked me out. Better dance. Drink some water, girl. Get on those sit-ups, honey. Get on those sit-ups. But no, seriously, I used to drink
Starting point is 00:22:32 Coca-Cola like all day like I don't I don't like coffee so to get up in the morning oh I would drink soda like so it was constant caffeine 7 a.m soda and sugar and I'd fall asleep drinking drinking you know my god and everyone would always give me a hard time um and at that time it was it was like actually harder to lose weight so you know obviously I kind of figured out why and I started working on music again exactly when I turned 40. Wow.
Starting point is 00:23:06 And I was like, my throat was dry and it was a lot of dancing and performing. And so, I don't know. I just started craving water. Yeah. And then I started playing
Starting point is 00:23:20 mind tricks with myself where I'm like, this water tastes so good. Oh my God, I love this water. Oh my God. And it worked though. And honestly, I have probably had one soda, maybe two, within like four or five years. Wow.
Starting point is 00:23:40 Damn. And I constantly drink water. Bravo. I mean, I down it. And I noticed a change in my skin. Like my skin wasn't as dry, you know, which I still battle. Like I've always had dry skin, so. Live your life.
Starting point is 00:23:56 You know, live your life. True or false? Did you go to high school, Nick Lachey? True. Oh, my God. Did he have rusted tips? I can't remember. But you did a play together, right?
Starting point is 00:24:08 We did. Peter Pan, yeah. And you were Tinkerbell? Tiger Lily. Oh. And he was Peter Pan? He was one of the Lost Boys. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:24:18 That's amazing. They could see him now, you know what I mean? That's so crazy. Do you ever see him, like, out and about at things? I have, but not as recent. wow no it's crazy um last thing before we go to your advice one of the things that i love the most about people is when they can make fun of themselves yeah and i'm the queen of that so oh my god i mean there's a lot of hits on your instagram of this but so carmen posts the 1998
Starting point is 00:24:47 cover of people's worst dressed issue september 14 99 and she's on the cover and she's in a hot pink crop top which jack we're filming our television show right now and jack has worn a crop top every every day shoot to the fact that when we did our 26 segments crop top all of them everyone okay well you're not worried about your body that much though not that part no no that's a good part to the point where the network was like hey um for the photo shoot like jack can't wear a crop top that's how many i was banished from crop tops and i'm like i don't own a non crop tops so i don't know but picture this carmen's wearing this like hot pink crop top matching pant outfit but has fringe all down the sleeves oh my god she's like in the middle and
Starting point is 00:25:34 she's just like yeah it's like right on the cover first of all let's just remember that people used to do a worst dressed like issue where it was just all it's so mean it was so mean best and worst dress oh it was best and worst so did you win the ultimate worst dressed yeah i was on the cover the worst dress i would be honored i would do in that outfit i would wear that right now i'm honored absolutely i'm honored now but i was working with mtv and there was something that i don't know if any of you guys would remember but it was called rock and jock and there was a 70s theme and they would they would sort of bring in wait so this was a costume yeah and they thought it was a real life outfit yeah oh that's not fair but let me take it back that's
Starting point is 00:26:20 not fair i have worn you you want some outfits many that were similar maybe just without the fringe you know what i'm saying so you're like accurate so you know you know i gotta keep it real i gotta keep it real that was a costume the others were not the others were not did you keep any of those outfits please can i buy one off i have like a ton of stuff yeah i kept a lot you I didn't do, like, a museum showing. But that was the pink People Magazine cover outfit. I mean, it was a 70s theme. I was courtside reporter.
Starting point is 00:27:00 And there was, like, not paparazzi, but, like, a press, like, little red carpet press line. And I didn't think anything of it. So I was, like, peace. You know, I'm, like, working for MTV where, like, it was fun. What could go wrong? You're an MTV model. golden years for sure yeah the crazier you are the better like it was just hold on i have it here i want to show you have rivalries with like look at wait you've got like power to the people stand
Starting point is 00:27:28 i love it but also like drew barrymore cameron diaz like brandy i mean no big deal it's some good company at the time though i felt like oh my god i love that outfit i felt sad at the time because i was like you know it was a costume the start they hired a stylist and we went to like into these archives and that was it. Not, you know, like on Singled Out, the show I did,
Starting point is 00:27:53 we always wore crazy stuff, you know, but there wasn't like a press line, so. Right. This was it. They got the professional photo. But now I love it.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Now I love it. I think it's funny. It's hilarious. I still think it's a good outfit. But in that moment, I was like, oh!
Starting point is 00:28:08 Oh, I love it. Oh my God. Yeah. Really? I'm so famous. No, I was upset. I was hurt. I was genuinely like, I feel so misunderstood.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Can I write a letter that this is a costume? But now I love it. No, I love it. No, congrats. I love it. I love it so much. I want a little girl advice from you because recently you posted a picture with Dave and I know you guys are still friends and like, I think one of the questions we get all the
Starting point is 00:28:38 time from our girls is like, can you be friends with an ex? Like, can you? And I always say absolutely not. Like, it's over forever. But then I was, like, going through your Instagram, which, P.S., if you're not following Carmen Electra, very cute, very kitschy, very fun. But, like, then I saw the picture and I was like, oh, maybe you can't. So can you? With some.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Oh. With some. You can. With some, it just, you can't. I haven't found one of those that you can yet. I feel like you can when you still don't want to have sex with them. Yeah. Like when you've lost that, whatever that is that makes you want to have sex with them is when you can't.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I just think we just, I don't know, we have a really special connection. And our relationship was really based on, I think, our friendship as well. Yeah. And we always had fun together. And so, I don't know, we just, we can do it. We can do it. And we just, we laugh at each other and we talk about, you know, what's really going on in our lives.
Starting point is 00:29:45 There's no secrets. And we also tell each other we love each other, you know? And so, I don't know. I think that he's just, you know, an easy person to talk to. Yeah. And that's why we've been able to remain friends. So, ladies out there, Carmen can do it. The rest of you, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Never. was there a period of time though that you couldn't be friends did you take a break and then come back to the friendship yeah yeah I mean that makes sense there was kind of a break yeah definitely um yeah and then we would talk every you know
Starting point is 00:30:21 I mean it's still it's not like we are right you're not best friends hanging out every day yeah yeah yeah you know what I mean or talking on the phone all day long and stuff like that but we check in on each other all the time that's nice for you guys I'm happy for you but it's nice but Jack don't even think about it All right.
Starting point is 00:30:35 When we come back, Carmen's going to fix your life. Ladies! Funky. Ask the Lady Gang. And we're back. So we have our listeners write us in some questions, and we try to give them okay advice. Okay. And no pressure, but most of them will do exactly what you say.
Starting point is 00:30:55 They're listening to you, not us. Okay. Our first question comes from Diamond Dilemma, and now all the girls have to write in their, like, fake names because they've gotten in trouble. real names too many people are listening and so it'll be like sasha i heard you talking about me on the lady gang podcast you passive-aggressive bitch like their friends being like well i heard your question and now you're broken up with your boyfriend so yeah so now we're anonymous yes okay um so diamond dilemma says i've been married for three years to a wonderful man back when my husband proposed it was with a beautiful diamond ring he received from his grandma after she passed
Starting point is 00:31:29 away i recently took it to be appraised and it turns out that the appraiser told me the ring is made with artificial diamonds i.e worth practically nothing i was shocked but honestly it doesn't matter much to me since it still has sentimental value should i tell the truth or lie and make up a respectable amount that could be worth if it were real diamonds i don't like the idea of lying to him but i also don't want it to become a potential issue for us and for him to feel bad about it every time he sees it aka every day help me i do want to say that i edited this a little bit she went to go get appraised so she could put on our homeowner's insurance oh okay so she wasn't just going for the appraisal like she was just going to try to get that insurance honey you
Starting point is 00:32:09 should have done that thank you that's um yeah this is a tricky situation because obviously you know he is really proud of it i think it i think i think if you know i would i i personally wouldn't say anything i would just it obviously has the same meaning um you know it's very special to him it's very special to her yeah i think sometimes you know we can have a tendency to just blast out something unnecessary and it ends up hurting someone a little bit and there was no need to even go there.
Starting point is 00:32:50 So I think I would just carry on and love and appreciate the ring. And that 10-year upgrade, honey, is going to be expensive for him. And I guess she really won't need the insurance on the jewelry, so
Starting point is 00:33:05 just kind of let that slide. Just let it slide and yeah no just be you know it just might make the whole relationship awkward i think it could let me like emasculate him a little bit maybe like you don't want to no i don't know it wasn't his fault unless it's not absolutely not his fault you know it was passed down before by the cz's i mean not like a cubic circle not in a gift but like there's sometimes where i'm like oh look at the cz you're looking real shiny becca would never get pulled by cz anyway no i wonder if you're not not me um i feel like if you fight dirty like me like when you get into
Starting point is 00:33:47 fights i can't control the things that come out of my mouth yeah so i think that that might come out at some point for me so maybe just don't get drunk and start fighting because you can't Let's hold it back. Ask Zach. I am terrible. No. I mean, but it's not his fault. It's not his fault, so let it go.
Starting point is 00:34:09 And, you know, it's your little secret with his dead grandma. Oh, God. Exactly. See you in heaven, Grams. Maybe she didn't even know. She definitely wouldn't have known. She wouldn't have known. Especially not back in the day.
Starting point is 00:34:20 Yeah. Back in the day. Back in the day. My best friend got proposed to with a fake ring and found out halfway through the engagement. She still married him. And he, like, purchased it? He replaced it. Like, he got bamboozled?
Starting point is 00:34:32 That says a lot about somebody's personality. Yeah. She found out that it was fake. Did he know? He knew. Oh, he knew. Bamboozled. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:34:41 I wouldn't have married him. That's not what I'm saying. If you know, that's one thing. Yeah. If you don't. He didn't know. It doesn't sound like he knew. This guy definitely doesn't.
Starting point is 00:34:48 I don't think he knew. I think she should just let it go. Yep. Completely put it out of her mind and continue on as things are going. sounds like three years this is truly a success yeah listen to the podcast we've been in this now for three years and we're like um you know on the brink of a divorce divorce but it's been a good ride i think the good thing is if she loses it oh well you know you have to replace it yep yep all right next question comes from anonymous anonymous says i've been with my
Starting point is 00:35:23 boyfriend for two years now and the sex is bad like always been bad sex toys can't fix it bad if you not have a penis how bad could it be and okay i'm gonna continue jesus i lost my virginity to my current boyfriend seven years ago in high school but i moved away to pursue bigger life dreams and learn what good sex was before life circumstances sucked me back into the depressing vortex of my miserable hometown i love her i recently turned 24 and now that everyone my age is popping out their annoying unphotogenic second child my quarter life crisis is calling for me to play catch up somehow is she one of us do you think i would be settling for a relationship with cringe cringy sex is there hope seriously how do you deal with sex that physically compels
Starting point is 00:36:15 you to close your eyes it's your happy place oh no it's over it's done i mean that is never speechless dark sex is such an important part of a relationship i mean we're all speechless how is this gonna work i wish you got more specific about why it was bad i know is it bad because it doesn't matter you guys she has to close her eyes and happy place it doesn't matter no but she said we've used toys sex therapy at all yeah i mean i think maybe this is me i just don't have skills in the bed and the thing okay it would be one thing if she had lost her virginity to him and then he's the only person that she slept with she's gone away she's had sex with other guys she knows it's so it's not a her like she is having problem like having an orgasm or something like
Starting point is 00:37:09 that she's madly in love with him she did not say that she's been with him for two years and the sex is bad in all caps all caps um you know um if she's tried a lot of different things i i don't toys i mean i don't know porn i i don't know what to say i have to say she's 24 she thinks that She is old. Yeah, you're not. You're not. Oh, please. My advice.
Starting point is 00:37:40 You are just starting your life. My advice is get the hell out of your hometown. You don't have a baby in a town you don't even aren't excited about. Go start your life over. Talk to your boyfriend on Skype when you're lonely. And, like, start again and find a new hot boyfriend. Move to LA where nobody is even in a relationship until they're in their 40s. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Then you'll realize that you're not. Don't have a baby just because. And don't get out of your hometown. So, I mean, 40s, it doesn't mean she needs to run. Are you looking for a guy? I might have a guy for you. Run. Do you have a guy?
Starting point is 00:38:11 I've dated. I've dated a little. Well, probably not good enough for you. Okay, what's the next question? What kind of guy for her? I feel like what man can, like, confidently go on a date with Carmen Electra? That's what I'm saying. Really?
Starting point is 00:38:22 Yeah. A normal guy? Oh, my God. No way. I didn't even tell my husband you were here today. He would have shown up. I'm not kidding. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:38:29 Mine, too. You're, like, an untouchable force for men. i feel like i think so too really yeah i think well maybe it's just from the images you know the images no you're sitting here right now and i'm like before i met you but yeah girl don't come to any of our parties we've been happy to have you on the podcast but don't sit next to me at a party girl have a lonely life stay away from us oh my god i'm just kidding you're so cute okay last question another anonymous um she says i'm 24 and have been with my boyfriend for almost two years he's my first real boyfriend we live together both want to settle down one day
Starting point is 00:39:04 not for at least three or four years though she's a planner and think and think that there's a good chance that we could work out recently recently though i've been having some FOMO about being single in my 20s before my boyfriend i didn't have much experience in bed and now i can't shake the feeling like i need to confirm that he's my match i haven't met anyone i could see myself with since being with my boyfriend but it's like i want to hit the pause on my relationship and then come back to him when i'm ready i know this is hella selfish but i can't tell if it's just harmless FOMO or if this means something is up with a relationship have any of you guys ever felt this way and how would you suggest that i get past this feeling i've had this happen to me you have yes i
Starting point is 00:39:45 had a boyfriend break up with me and his words to me during the breakup were i don't want to be with you but i don't want you to be with anyone else we were like 23 like okay well that's not gonna work out and also it is how this works it is really selfish of you and you know what you should be a good person and you should be honest with this person and be like i really love you and i hope our paths meet again but like right now i gotta go live my life and you will always regret it at 24 oh my god don't do stuff i think in your 20s you need to have fun and just like live and um she like almost had a hair tie that's how much karma wants you to live you need to live honey there's nothing wrong with being selfish especially at that age when you have nothing
Starting point is 00:40:33 tying you to somebody like that is the age to be selfish and figure out what you want and experience a bunch of guys and have sex with a bunch of guys and let's just be honest it's very rare especially these days with social media and everything being so available that you will end up being with the person you're with in your 20s that's so true so i mean i say live your life have as much fun enjoy being young in your 20s i can't believe someone thought they were old that is ridiculous yeah yeah just like you know and you might find him again later in life and then she also might experience other guys and find out that he wasn't the guy for her too exactly like just because that's all you know it also pigeonholes your thinking in my 20s i broke
Starting point is 00:41:31 up with my boyfriend the day before my 21st birthday because i had a visual of me getting rowdy and sleeping with a stranger and i wanted to do that but i broke up with him so that i could that's nice of you becca that actually is great at least you didn't cheat on him exactly he's like your birthday's tomorrow i mean that's exactly i mean that's pretty i gotta get drunk yeah but that's pretty mature of you at that time i'm sure to be honest i was a real bitch i love it well listen if you um i don't love you anymore bye i gotta have sex with somebody else i felt like you gave some really good advice for this sign off i just in case you guys hadn't seen it because you're not in the news business i just want to bring that up holy shit there's like i
Starting point is 00:42:14 mean yeah where was that also that hair and makeup is like so hot i mean it was so this one's my favorite actually i almost canceled the shoot why look at that because i asked your tiny little butt you're so cute i asked my publicist um if you know was there going to be a stylist yeah because You know, I've shot nudes for Playboy many times, and there always is. Like a clothing stylist? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. What could you start with something on?
Starting point is 00:42:41 Yeah, and you kind of strip down, but, like, you know, we always had shoes on. Right. And so, jewelry. Yeah, just, like, some earrings. A little touch. Give the girl an earring. Yeah, yeah. A guard or, I don't know, just little, tiny little things to, I don't know, that's just how I've always shot my nudes.
Starting point is 00:43:00 um so i i started freaking out and i and i almost wanted to cancel because they said well there's no publicist and i mean i'm sorry there's obviously a publicist there's no stylist yeah yeah i'm sorry i don't drink coffee i think i'm still half asleep no i love this um where's my soda no so no stylist um and i was like what am i gonna be barefoot and naked like that's weird yeah yeah yeah like that's weird to me like super vulnerable and doesn't it like just sound like well you weren't naked you had a smoky eye uncomfortable like you know there was a silk blanket in there yeah um it was hot but you know uh actually eli the photographer went to the swift store and got like the like this really fun like red white and blue corset top and some boots
Starting point is 00:43:47 and we shot on a motorcycle and then after that then basically i was barefoot naked but um they You need to be the facade that, like, you need to be comfortable. Here's a costume now that, yeah, I think it's making me feel comfortable. But it was all very spontaneous, and I had no idea going into it what exactly we were shooting. Oh, it was amazing. And, like, I just, again, I think it is so great that you put yourself out there again and, like, showed off your hard work and this body and the personality. Like, it's just, it's awesome. It's so inspiring for all of us.
Starting point is 00:44:22 Like, it's just, it's very, very cool. And if you want to subscribe to the Church of Carmen Electra, you may follow her on Instagram. Preach. At Carmen Electra.
