Starting point is 00:00:00 well what is this welcome to the lady gang that's amazing say that again the lady gang things are about to change around here each week we catch up with hollywood's hottest girl posse kelty knight becca tobin and jack vanik hello hello hello welcome to lady gang i'm becca tobin here with jack vanik and kelty knight we are in a different studio with two guest stars that um we're really excited about Kelty is it Katy Perry it's Katy Perry
Starting point is 00:00:33 she's here Fran and Rhea from Chicks in the Office are here we've taken over their homes they are now both married
Starting point is 00:00:39 the last time we saw you only one of you was married now you're both married the wedding content is over it's all going downhill yeah it's a
Starting point is 00:00:46 what do we have left there's nothing to look forward to except Lady World yes and it only took me 30 seconds
Starting point is 00:00:54 to talk about it no we're so excited to be here in New York with you guys today our good week is that we're here we're friends we've been friends
Starting point is 00:01:01 for so long so long our original podcast girlies when we lost the people's choice award together we will always have that
Starting point is 00:01:08 where the bond started yeah that was what I think it was 2018 yep 2018 yeah yes 2018
Starting point is 00:01:14 because our show was on the air and we're like yeah we're gonna win because this is an e-show and we have an e-show and then we lost and we were like
Starting point is 00:01:20 wow the world hates us how did you guys sorry I know I'm just gonna I have to just jump around here but I've been wanting to ask
Starting point is 00:01:28 how did you keep your friendship get both being brides the same year yeah that's why I can't believe this we actually said we think it helped yeah I think it did
Starting point is 00:01:35 if anything I think it helped too that we both like could understand like what the other person was like doing in terms of like oh you would need
Starting point is 00:01:41 to leave early or you need to step out oh that makes sense like for planning and stuff it was like oh like actually can we move the recording because I have this appointment
Starting point is 00:01:49 or like whatever and I think if one of us was maybe single or whatever we'd be like oh this has to get the wedding again the fucking bride stuff
Starting point is 00:01:55 was like taken over but instead we were like like no totally because i know like it was like everything i had to do she just we just did right out like it was like right next to each other was it weird about like i love my dress and it's the prettiest dress of all time and like i love my dress it's pretty no no we have different yeah styles like our weddings were in such different places as well like nothing about it was similar and neither of us it wasn't like one of us wanted something and the other person was doing it so the other person had to change like right i think even before we got engaged we both knew like that we
Starting point is 00:02:26 would have different sort of like vibes and everything in general so yeah were either of you guys bridezillas because you're so chill both of you are very chill i don't think so people always say that both of us were like the calmest people ever on the day of our weddings which was so funny like i always say i want to bottle up how i felt the day of my wedding because it's more calm than i am like on my day-to-day life really interesting wow i would and fran was super calm as well like we both were really chill about it god it must be very rich guys um okay so today we are gonna play uh since you're the most famous influencers i know we are gonna play love it or leave it influencer edition so i brought out all of the things that are the
Starting point is 00:03:10 big trends for this summer and we're gonna have everyone here discuss and we're gonna start with Peel Off Lip Liner. It is a beauty experiment where users apply peel off lip tints as blush on their lips. You know, you've seen it. Leave it. You wearing it right now, Jack?
Starting point is 00:03:31 Me? No, but I wear it sometimes. Does it work? Yeah, it's like a stain. I saw a girl do it and she was like, this is so overrated. So I didn't order it. You really have to push through and wear it for like an hour. TikTok is begging me to buy it because I think
Starting point is 00:03:47 Like, I get nonstop ads for it all the time, but I have never tried it. Most of the time, I'm just like, you know, I'll stick to lip liner. It's a commitment, and it's annoying. Yeah, no, I'm not into it. That looks messy. That looks like you really have to know how to, like, color between the lines. You know, you really got to be precise, because if it goes off a little bit, then it's all jibber.
Starting point is 00:04:08 You need a smooth hand. Yeah. Which I don't have. Okay. What do you think about La Boo Boo Bag Charms? Oh, no. We've already had a little pre-discussion about this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:16 jack has brought her labubu i have one in the mail coming to me yep there he is so there was unfortunately um which rhi and i really harped on that we can't let go of is that there was a people article that really detailed how gen alpha has taken the labubu trend and they quoted like a bunch of late 30s early 40s people in new york city and the way they talked about these labubus i was like this is the most embarrassing thing i've ever i've ever heard like like one person was like i'm so afraid to wear mine on the subway what if it gets stolen like it's i've heard there is they're like yes yeah exactly it's just um it's a it's a it's a craze my my sister has a couple of them now which i i did not fully understand but rihanna we had a moment talking
Starting point is 00:05:04 about it and you i mean we did not think about getting one i just the way she just looked over I know, it was Gus. No, I'm just Louis Vuitton's fanny pack. He just looks ridiculous to me. I mean, he looks adorable because you guys are matching. I'm sorry. Like, it's your matching. It feels ridiculous to me.
Starting point is 00:05:23 It's like having an American Girl doll in a matching outfit that you're wearing. I think it's because once I see, like, all the influencers online, like, put them on all their designer bags. And, Jack, I'm giving you an exception. Thank you. Because I really like you. Thank you. But when I see they're, like, prancing around Italy and the Labooboos are hanging from their designer bags, like, I just, I don't like it. Like, I don't understand why.
Starting point is 00:05:42 i also just like never hang things from my bags and like not a charm person no i know i saw that clip but like i never have never even thought about hanging something from my bag ever so i just maybe that's why i also don't ever want to wear anything where strangers might come up and talk to me i very rarely wear some things that say anything yeah i don't even wear peacocking yeah i don't even wear lady gang merch in the airport because there's too many weird like old dudes being like lady gang what's that and i'm like god damn it yeah so i just that's too much of a of a talking point where did you get yours yeah no they're almost firsthand they're almost straight up too valuable right now also like walking the streets in new york city i would
Starting point is 00:06:24 be kind of afraid someone would pull it off i need to be i hope someone does it would be such a good story it would be a good story and honestly and we need it his little ton outfit was five dollars i will say to your point of like the labubus on bags in italy well i have to show off yeah um mine has to be like his his outfit needs to be appropriate for the occasion so it's like if they're not in a bikini then like what are they doing there like he is dressed like me so in new york city this fits yes little boo boo fits in new york city he's ready to promote lady world today he's not yeah he's here for business like he'd be great in the winter yes he doesn't smell like a strawberry shortcake oh there's no he doesn't smell oh damn that sucks no i can't
Starting point is 00:07:03 wait for mine to get i don't even know but i have a whole collection of stuffed animals you would not expect that from me would you yeah love them i'm not too surprised because fran has a full no that is true i have a lot of squishmallows in my apartment well and my husband constantly asks if there's some we can get rid of and i say no okay well i'll let you in on a little secret they're making squishmallow pillows like a pillow like pillowpads no no no this is a new thing this is a new thing it hasn't been released yet like squishmallow that makes squishmallows yeah are making normal sized just rectangle regular pillows no faces with no faces with the squish mellow stuffing in them and the fabric like the super comfortable yeah that's amazing turn yours
Starting point is 00:07:44 around when you're having sex no they're they're in a corner yeah like they're just yeah they're just peaks yeah they're just there one falls down like can i wear your labubu yeah it's attached to her purse okay if your labubu like all of a sudden was like not your labubu one of your pillow pads like fell and was like this would you feel like it was suffocating yes see yeah there's two types of people yeah did you guys have yeah there's sometimes i have sometimes i don't have a collection sometimes i take one traveling with me and like use it as a pillow on planes and stuff because that's what i do and sometimes like when we were consistently or like traveling for shows or something i would i have my like they're in a basket and i would constantly reach for the same
Starting point is 00:08:29 one and sometimes i'd look at the others and be like i'm sorry i haven't taken them out yeah i also think when you said in a basket i'm like my son's nursery has a basket of stuffed animals exactly what it is so i think maybe if and when you become a mom maybe that's when it's going to be like a weird territory you pass along the basket i have a really good um storage option i have one of those like the bench storages yeah yeah yeah so that when i'm done sleeping i just set them nicely in there. No, that's a coffin. It's not a coffin.
Starting point is 00:08:59 They can't breathe. They can't breathe in there. Mine are in my closet and they all have their own little area. Oh, that's nice. But then that's also a little bit like jail.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Yeah. Not this closet. My sister has all the, my sister loves the jelly cats. Yeah, I like those too. I love, honestly. Yeah, the jelly cats are cute. Yeah, my son has a lot
Starting point is 00:09:18 of jelly cats. I like anything that, well, you hate it. I just like anything that you want to keep to yourself. Look, the rest of us don't have children, And so we still have to keep the child alive in our house.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Did you guys ever, like, just, like, for traveling, I have this question, well, for, like, a pillow. Yeah. You know, but when I'm at home, like, I don't know where, you know what I mean? You don't like to lay on it on the couch? It's the comfiest thing ever. Yeah, it sure is.
Starting point is 00:09:38 No, I don't have any that I have on the couch. Oh, my God. Okay, bikini charms. What? Oh, a bikini charm. Now, instead of, you know how for, no, you know how for, oh, my God, the way your eyes look. I love a belly chain.
Starting point is 00:09:51 I used to love a belly chain. So sexy. the way we used to have a belly chain or the thing now it's just a charm and you put it just where your bikini ties and you just
Starting point is 00:09:58 I have that just a bikini charm I think I have bikinis that just come with the charm like they just like have it yeah people are buying individual they're buying like
Starting point is 00:10:06 essentially jacks pants and shirt it's all charmies yeah why don't we just and you can just hook them to the sides of like the ties and stuff
Starting point is 00:10:13 yeah seems like too much work for me but I love it I want less like the more stuff that's happening on my bathing suit like the more annoying it is
Starting point is 00:10:21 like I'm either tanning or I'm swimming and then but like and that also worries me too I always was told growing up about how
Starting point is 00:10:29 like sharks or predatory fish are attracted to shiny objects and I'm like I'm shaking my charms in the ocean
Starting point is 00:10:38 I'm a target I'm a target and they're on the rise shark attacks I understand bloomers are back oh no
Starting point is 00:10:45 I almost wore bloomers today no your legs can work with a bloomer though thank you so much you do have great legs Like an actual baby, which works with the booboo. Bloomer, no.
Starting point is 00:10:56 You're not doing it? I see them in every store I walk into, and I will never even try them on. No. What about for, like, at-home sexy style? No. Am I picturing the right thing? That's, like, infantilizing. What's the infantilizing?
Starting point is 00:11:10 It's infantilizing. It's like a ranny panty that's roughly two-thick of rugrats. No, this is, like, infantilizing grown women with the stuffed animals, the bloomers. Yeah, I really don't like the bloomers. Like, what are we going to have pacifiers next? Oh, like the shorts, the bloomer shorts. Yeah, the bloomer shorts. Oh.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Yeah. They look like a diaper sometimes. Yeah, that's right. The diaper part is... I think I have... You have to be really chic to call mom. She's like, I think I have nine pairs. No, I think I wore one white pair last year, and as I left my apartment, I thought, why
Starting point is 00:11:38 am I wearing these? And I don't think I ever put them on again. Yeah. I don't know. Okay. Some of my legs are some shorts. Like, it's, you know, some things don't look right, you know? I wore baggy jeans the other night for our live show.
Starting point is 00:11:49 and my god i was horrified at the pictures that we got back because i was like these did not look like how they looked at my head because i'm so short and when i know we just don't photograph well in in the pictures we don't photograph jeans and everything i'm like models are not five yeah exactly exactly because i was like what the is that how i look yeah everyone has to be like no no and i'm like then i become annoying and it's like no that is how you look because you're short looking back you look at those pictures and you're like oh no looking back maybe heels would have been a better. Heels and I kept asking you
Starting point is 00:12:20 I put heels on you kept saying no the sneakers It's your fault. It's different in person it was like in person the outfit looks so cute with sneakers. Well you're like moving and then obviously looking at the pictures from stage I'm like well that looks different than how I was looking at you. Eye to eye level. Well this is my beef and I've talked about
Starting point is 00:12:37 it on the podcast I'm sorry to beat the dead horse but like you know there's a lot of body inclusivity in models now which is a wonderful thing. You know what they're not doing? Short models. I'm f***ing annoyed I'm so f***ing annoyed I thought when is my time
Starting point is 00:12:51 I just want to know what the f*** I'm going to look like revolve in that f***ing dress because when I get it I don't look like the girl who was modeling it no matter what her body type was and I'm like that's so cute but I think you might be a little short yeah it's awful wait how tall are you? 5'3

Starting point is 00:14:07 with iGaming Ontario. Now back to the Lady Gang. mascara free makeup now they want us to not be wearing mascara and i say that as i'm wearing a fake eyelash i slept in the plane i know how you feel i will i need a lash i think there's an age limit on this yeah yeah i don't mind it to be honest i i'll do it every in the in the summer it's so hot in new york city sometimes that i like a very i'll do very minimal or very light layer of mascara I will always curl my lashes
Starting point is 00:14:42 whether I put mascara on or not if I curl my lashes and do no mascara it's like still okay but time and place in my opinion for the no mascara I'll never go to a function without mascara our makeup artist that we have
Starting point is 00:14:58 at our shows, Hayley, who's amazing she has had to yell at me a couple times like no we're putting the lash on you you're not getting on that stage you're not going on a screen without a lash on and i'm like no she's like trust me and then i'm like you're so right like there was one weekend i didn't do a lash recently and i look back at pictures oh god you know you gotta go a little bit more over the top yeah i'm like oh you were so right yeah it pays off when
Starting point is 00:15:21 you get the pictures back but when you look at yourself in the mirror sometimes you're like scared yikes that's a lot of makeup but then you look at the pictures like okay it was kind of necessary no i do drag queen makeup every single night on e-news i've never looked better in the photo and the video in person horrific um the broccoli haircut do we like it on the men's the broccoli boys oh the broccoli boys yeah yeah yeah tapered sides and a curly top resembling a broccoli yeah no no like benson boone's haircut is the broccoli oh no i don't mind it i like long hair i've always loved long hair on guys like always since i was like as young as i can remember so it's like it's better than like short hair for me but it's not long enough i guess it depends on how
Starting point is 00:16:03 styled really yeah because sometimes it looks a little more like tiktok boy hair it is broccoli broccoli boy hair is the tiktok boy but some people some like guys that are older it looks okay like i'm benson boone i don't mind it as much i think it suits him yeah but then like when i see a tiktok boy with it i'm like you little douchey cat it depends on the face yeah yeah like if the face is the vibe but it's like that's what about you it it's the same way with women that you're like look a short haircut fantastic on some not fantastic on others depends on your fate we analyze our faces so much to be like that's not the right haircut for that face shape yeah and boys we don't do that as much and they should because you know they should it's so true okay tankini tankini is
Starting point is 00:16:48 the bathing suit of the summer is it really yeah that's what they said wow you know i loved i loved And my mom loved a tankini back in the day, Mom. I loved a tankini. It just always made me think of my mom. Yeah, I just think with the tan line situation, the tankini won't be good. Yeah. It just reminds me. Do you wear sunscreen?
Starting point is 00:17:07 Of course I wear sunscreen, but I still get tan with sunscreen. I put on so much sunscreen, and I still get tan, and people are yelling at me, like, you have to wear sunscreen. I'm like, you don't understand. I was like, yeah, I really hit a nerve there asking about your sunscreen. You look so mad. This happened in, I remember the day. It was in February.
Starting point is 00:17:24 I was in Florida for seven days and I trust me I wore a ton of sunscreen but I still just get tan naturally yeah and people were people were dming me like you have to wear sunscreen I'm like guys I'm wearing like spf 50 like I promise you we're good years ago I did it to her you're so good with it now I'm so good now years ago I was like where there'd be I'd be like put your yeah but no now I now I do I do yeah yeah I'll still get I'll get that but I like tankini I think they're really cute becca do you do a tankini or you do a full unitard body no i do have a turtleneck swim shirt so that's kind of a tankini because it's a top and then like you know that comes down with the bikini bottom yep it's beautiful yep it has like a puff sleeve and a turtleneck but it's not like
Starting point is 00:18:05 a tankini it is because it's like there's a top and a bottom and the top is longer so it is a tankini but it's not a tank i'd probably just go turtle kini you know full one piece over tankini That's next up. The turtle key. The turtle key. We got to go back to like the 1920s swimsuit. It's full body. You would love that.
Starting point is 00:18:24 I love it. Swim costume. Love it so much. I would love a swim costume. Okay. The 90s footwear comeback. The T-bar sandals, platforms, the Litas. I had the Litas.
Starting point is 00:18:34 The Litas are for sale again. What was a T-bar sandal? I don't know. You know, yes, you do. It's like Jessica Simpson's shoe. It's all wood on the bottom. And then it's got a thing and the thing goes here. It's a T-strap.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Is it like a T-strap? It's a T-strap. A T-strap. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Like those, like the, the. Like a clog, but not a clog. Like a Sam Edelman T-strap that I, I mean, I wore those.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Thank you. Yeah. Yes. And then the Steve Madden black slides. Yes. Yes. I have a version of, actually, I think they are Steve Madden. I like the slide.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Those slides are comfortable. They're so comfortable. And I love a platform. Me too. Always comfortable. um the t-slides remind me of like my like high school party date like high school events like high school graduation parties like a dress and like it really cuts off the leg which is yeah it's really not that flattering um jellies are also i'm not into the jellies the jellies are
Starting point is 00:19:30 so back i've seen everyone wearing the jelly do i at every time i see someone wearing a jelly i go are those comfortable? Because I just can't imagine plastic is comfortable. Mine are I swear to you I wore them on Saturday all day in the city and it was the most comfortable shoe I have worn She influenced me to get them and I've never felt uglier
Starting point is 00:19:49 in my life And you think as a short person the jelly is okay? Listen, sometimes I just have to embrace the you know, stockiness that is 5'3", you know Are you into the jelly? Would you wear it but you're worried?
Starting point is 00:20:05 I do it with like a barrel jean. No, I'm actually not very into it either, so I guess, but you're just kind of selling me on how comfortable, because I'm very into a seven, seven and a half. I was like, I'll send you mine. I'm just very into a comfortable shoe. Anywhere I can find something comfortable. Well, you should wear orthotic sandals like I did most days. I said that the Amazon jellies that I posted about, those are identical to the Rowe jellies
Starting point is 00:20:29 that are like $900, so they're chic. Wait, are you admitting that you wear a dupe? well yeah I didn't know it was a dupe when I got it but I don't do label dupes I don't do label dupes too bad for you those are probably more comfortable
Starting point is 00:20:46 oh for sure I did question it I was like now that I know it's a dupe I probably shouldn't be wearing them okay you're listening to the Lady Gang we're very excited um to have you guys at lady world tell the lady gang audience that well let's be honest everyone that listens to chicks in the office also sometimes listens to lady gang you guys are massive
Starting point is 00:21:14 so what what can you tease about i know you don't know what you're doing but what can you tease about a chicks in the office show outdoors at the beach lady world style oh good question i feel like we just bring great energy on stage like whenever we step out on stage it's almost like we become like different personas of ourselves like we love like a like a cute intro where we walk out with great music dancing when we get out on stage we get the crowd try my best yeah we get the crowd to stand up and dance and like really get the crowd going like we don't like to just be like like all like what's a great walkout song for you we do lose control by missy elliott right now which we think is a fantastic walkout song and then noah our producer and sarah they
Starting point is 00:21:56 are fantastic at what they do during the show as well. They got sound effects. They really know how to add to the show. They got music incorporated. We don't just sit there and talk. We do do that and we do talk about the pop culture topics and we joke around
Starting point is 00:22:12 with each other or people in the crowd even, but I think our producers add a great element to the show where they're always... Is Noah coming? Noah will be there. Noah, are you going to do programming? We have special events during the day for the men. hey I'm down for whatever
Starting point is 00:22:27 Noah Noah sells Noah puts asses in seats yes really Noah a lot of signs are about Noah some ladies they hear Noah's coming
Starting point is 00:22:34 that might be the selling point that they need Noah are you do you have a girlfriend no I don't he's single no he's single and he'll let everybody know
Starting point is 00:22:40 can we do a faction thing can we do off we've tried this before but at lady world yeah come on what do you do at lady world on stage yeah
Starting point is 00:22:49 can you I like being on stage yeah he does no that's fine okay let's not forget about the time You launched yourself onto stage last week. Yeah, you threw yourself on stage last week.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Hold on. Noah or anyone else on the team, could we put together a two-minute highlight reel, like Bachelor style, of Noah? Like, he's this, he's this, this is the family, this is what he needs, whatever. And then we'll surprise everyone. And all we'll do, we did this at one of our shows. We'll do that. We'll bring you out.
Starting point is 00:23:16 You can just do a quick shot. He's shy. He just wants you to be the star of his life. And then we'll put a QR code up. Yeah. And the QR code is an application. Noah would love a QR code for him. We'll go to your Instagram or your Hinge or wherever.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Yeah. Wait, that is amazing. He has Hinge still? It'll go right to your Hinge profile. I'm going to go get money for you. I don't think you can do that. But we'll find, we'll, you know, yes. We'll be like, here's the QR code to send Noah a message.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Yeah. Oh, perfect. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's like, that way I don't have to talk to a person. Girls go crazy for Noah at the shows. No, this will be amazing. We were doing a 30 before 30 list for Noah before he turns 30 in October.
Starting point is 00:23:57 And one of the girls brought a sign to the show was like, put me on your 30 before 30 list. Add me as a thing to do on your 30 before 30 list. What are the most wild things on that 30 list? He has to go bungee jumping. You know where you could do that? Miramar Beach. They have a wonderful, I bungee jumped one time
Starting point is 00:24:18 and it was this part of Florida. She bungee jumped one time. Oh, look at that. there you go we have to get Joey from The Bachelor to come with us because he promised
Starting point is 00:24:25 he would go well he can come well then he's a great addition yeah yeah this is amazing Joey The Bachelor this is so great because we have
Starting point is 00:24:32 for Lady World we have this Zoom that we do once a month so after you buy your ticket you get like in the secret Facebook group and these Zooms and we do Zooms
Starting point is 00:24:38 and we help girls like plan their plan and there's one guy that works for Topeka which is the production company Topeka Andrew and we were like all the girls
