Well, what is this?
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
That's amazing.
Say that again.
The Lady Gang.
Things are about to change around here.
Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse,
Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Hello, hello, hello.
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
I am Becca Tobin, here with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight.
Hello.
Guys, middle part or bust?
Don't we always have middle parts?
Well, I guess you don't always.
I did a side part and I regretted it last time we podcast because it was showing that
my hairline goes back to the nether regions on the side.
You know who recently changed my mind about a side part?
Me.
Well, you're always a beautiful queen in my eyes.
Yeah.
Jenna Lyons.
Oh, she's so sick.
Housewives of New York.
God damn it, she's cool.
She rocked a great side part.
Just regular, like really simple blowout.
Like I'm very into, I can never do it with my own hair, but I love when people who have
like a lot of hair do just like a really sleek blowout she reminds me so much of you oh my god
that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said yeah i'm trying to be her but you already are her i
saw that you copied her outfit yeah total head to toe well not with pearls with the chanel necklace
but yeah and like i did like that look i know it's a sick look that's why i stole it from her
yeah um no because you know what sometimes like when she when she was the hamptons episode and
she was coming and they're talking about the shashushka and she was, um, she came from
shashuka. She came from her house to the breakfast where everyone was and they're all wearing like
matching sweatsuits and like trying to do it. And she came in and like a shitty, um, baseball hat
and like a mismatched like top with a bottom and a Birkenstock with a sock. And I was like,
that's something Becca would wear and look super chic. And like I would wear and people would be
like please don't go in public this is the nicest thing you've ever said yep um all right well it's
time for good week yes it is bad week oh no who would like to go first i'm ready here we go
internet i'm ready to complain about something oh um okay first of all i want to let you know
on tiktok that this is my bad week there's a man whose tiktok have you seen it where he goes
hey what do you do for a living yeah yeah okay that mother stopped you no i wish oh i was like
oh you know it'd be really cool i'm going to new york what if we got what do you do for a living
to you run into me i know that some of his people are plants of course oh yeah no thing yeah and i
was like it would be really cool and then like i could maybe put it on e-news as like a little
thing like i got stopped by this virus and like whatever no no do you know how much mr what do
do for a living charges for you to appear in his, what do you do for a living? $9,500. And he
promised to leave it up for 30 days. That's insane. 9,500 people are using him to promote
their jobs or promote their business ventures. I guess so. But I'm like, did Ed Sheeran pay
nine $500 or was that a freebie? Like what is happening? It's probably like when the person
who wants to do it is more famous than him it's free but if the person is a little less famous
than him i'm sorry these are my emmy awards go fart yourself he doesn't convert to his tiktok
world tiktok no he wants people to talk followings i'm not saying i don't have a like listen is the
algorithm dead yes is all of my tiktoks getting 500 views sure like i don't even know why i'm
still trying but like anyway i was gobsmacked about that but it's pretty crazy here's my good
week if nothing else in my life i want the people of earth to know that i kelty knight know what to
do when an emergency vehicle is coming my way i need to speak to you all about how you are allowing
the ambulances fire trucks and police cars of the world okay what do you do pull to the side you
pull unless there's a median a median like a separator of the road then where do you go you
don't pull over like if you're there's sometimes there's planter or like right like if there's a
separate physical separation the fire truck is not going to hop over exactly you only pull over
if it's coming if it's coming in the opposite direction that you're driving the only time you
pull over is if there's nothing in between the line the lanes yes oh i always pull over well
you pull to the right so do i you know what to be honest so do i and and it's because
sometimes you hear it before you see it and as soon as you hear it you must pull over because
you don't know speedy racer going to save terry dubrow when he's having a stroke we need the
ambulances to go fast okay it's more important than your kid's soccer game or whatever the hell
you're doing well it's also i think illegal like i'm telling you i recently was on venture
boulevard here in studio city sherman oaks and i heard the ambulance or sirens coming and i pulled
over and someone behind me honked no no no no no and i was like their death is on your hands
there's nothing more important than us giving the right of way to fire trucks and ambulances we are
in a global climate things are lighting on fire people are dying we need to understand when you
hear the sirens you pull to the right and i'm a good person and i know that rule follower i'm not
even a rule follower i just feel like that's the right thing to do yeah exactly it is do you hear
a siren no but i i'm watching people do this they hear a siren and then they speed up because they
want to make it pass through the intersection before the fire truck comes you know who wants
to speed up the fire truck so they can get marmalade the cat out of the tree before the
house burns down example,
whatever it is,
like it's a random need to speed up to make it through.
The ambulance needs clearness to speed up.
Yeah.
That's all I'm saying.
Good night.
You know what they should start doing is when you die,
no,
when they start calling,
when you start calling for an ambulance,
they should also send a police officer behind the ambulance to just give out
tickets to the people who don't get out of the way.
Not even a ticket.
You know what?
because that's the problem yeah jail no jail jail jail jail because a ticket oprah the problem in
los angeles people don't pay their ticket people don't care about a ticket because some of them
are rich yeah so they're like oh 65 i'm gonna race through this thing it needs to be something
so terrible like you are put in the coliseum and you are released to the bulls wow yeah
oh for not pulling over oh hot but jack it won't happen to you you pull over i do pull over
unless there's a median unless there's a median she's just cruising along well the fire truck is
not gonna hop over a median unless it's like absolutely jam i don't know if there's like a
traffic jam but i don't think so i just feel very strongly about this yeah clearly um okay
my good week we were watching superfan specifically the shania episode the second part
it's called sound check where they play like a second of the song and then they guess what it is
and i was with jared and i was like jared i bet i could do this for any emo song he's like oh really
so we start playing this with you on the podcast for emo songs yeah wow i have no memory well we
have both really we did it again jared did it again and he picked the most obscure emo song
like obscure i'm not even talking to like fall boy tango back sunday like yellow card
random yeah like and you knew but probably play for five people now yeah i got every single one
of them every single one and it was so fun i'm like i don't know how we do like a super fan
version of for like for emo kids i tried to get fallout boy the network wouldn't let me why why
they didn't care think that people would enjoy it and i was like you're wrong that's actually
insane yeah oh my gosh i would have gone on it oh my gosh and you're like that is my goal is to
get jack as a super fan of one of the artists that come on superman so great and then there's like
and then there's like uh we can just like do a special question for superfan showdown when they
have the heads and you turn it around you're like what what are they thinking oh you know like how
does pete wentz get you to make out with him and then jack's like here's exactly how i did it
i would be good at it not even because i'm a super fan of fall boy but i just know so much
about everything that i thought i would just okay god i just know so much about everything i just
know so much about everything only emo stuff emo stuff only i love it um well you should get him
for season two if you guys have a season two yeah yeah i would love that okay you know what i'll try
to get rihanna and fallout boy perfect equally okay so my bad week is i was getting blood work
done and you have to fast before it so i couldn't drink coffee in the morning now i am wait you can
drink black coffee no not for whatever i was doing okay because i just did this so weird we're on the
same like health journeys schedules um yeah I couldn't drink coffee and I was like this is a
problem like I don't even know how I'm gonna drive I'm like so addicted to coffee I have to have it
first thing when I wake up so anyways I go to like go into the doctor's office and she like
brings me in the room and I go and like I like sit down on the chair and I'm just like kind of
like staring forward and she comes in she's like can you sit in the patient's chair I like sat in
the doctor's chair I was staring at her computer like so oblivious to anything going on and I was
just like waiting for her to come in completely in her chair and she got so pissed at me she's so
mad i mean she probably thought you were a psychopath and like looking up did you say no
i was like just like staring at the computer i'm not kidding when like if i don't have coffee i'm
like a zombie did she say anything like did you say oh my gosh i'm so sorry i didn't have coffee
yeah yeah i was like oh my god and she was really mad at me but i'm like i'm so sorry i couldn't
drink coffee this morning and i don't know what i'm doing oh wow i always sit in like the i don't
want to sit on the paper so you sit in the doctor's chair whatever stool counter um okay so
i my bad week is that i there's a problem with boutique fitness in the world in the country
which is so expensive if you go in and you do one workout and you give them your information
you'll never let you go it's like scientology it is the most aggressive recruiting i have ever
experienced in my life. I cannot believe the amount of calls I have received to, to literally,
I'm like, number one, this is a national chain, maybe even international there. They might be
privately franchised. I don't know, but let me just tell you something. People know you're there.
If I want to rumble, I will rumble. And if I, if I found my way to your studio and I took a class,
guess what if i really loved it i'd come back i'd come back it's not gonna take greg from the front
desk calling me 77 freaking times yeah that's just that's funny i i'm not even exaggerating
it was daily it was daily and then there's a yoga studio in town that the girl from the front desk
we're we have packages me and zach we go regularly and a girl will occasionally text
zach and be like hey you want me to sign you up for any of the upcoming classes here at
blah blah blah studio and he's like no lauren i i actually if you didn't notice i come in often and
i book it fine on my own like what is happening they must be like getting threatened that they're
gonna get fired if they don't recruit x amount of people here's my good week normally i would
have taken to the streets with my message i would have gotten on instagram and been like
you know what blah blah fitness i'm never coming back yeah i was going to it was great workout but
you know what i can't handle your bedside manner or whatever you call that well i have grown so
much so mature because i didn't do that and then one day i was so busy and i was running around and
what and i just see my phone ringing and i see that area code again i'm like block no i was a
bigger person and i said hello and they said hey hi how are you happy tuesday um it's so and so
calling from. Um, and I was wondering, and I was like, Hey, Emily, I'm going to stop you right
there. I have been receiving calls daily for weeks, daily and voicemails. I need you to remove
me from whatever this list is. I know it's your job. I know that this is not you. It's your
manager. It's the owner. I don't know what it is. I appreciate you. And I know you're doing what
you're told, but please for the love of fitness, take me off your list. And she was like, yeah,
I know it's a lot, isn't it? Oh my God. See, she feels bad. She's like, yeah, they make us call
these numbers every day. And I'm just, I'm so sorry. Like, I hope, you know, I hope you still
come in. And I'm like, you know what? I'll be there. I'll be there. I work with somebody who,
If we had a fitness studio, she would make me call daily.
I understand.
I understand.
You're not.
I was like, you're not the monster, Emily.
You're not the monster.
Yes, I'll see you on Tuesday.
Okay.
Wow.
I love it.
She got you.
But I was nicer.
I would have been real six months ago.
Real bitch.
Coming up.
Coming up.
Just us.
Just us.
Bye.

now back to the lady gang doobity do doobity do okay i'm really excited about today's episode
you know we know that the lady gang loves it when it's just the three of us
on a podcast even though you know listen we gotta have some guests every once in a while and we're
very um excited about those people but today is the day so i saw this thing on tiktok that i
absolutely freaking love. It's this girl. Her account is named Mads Mitch. Shout out to you,
Mads. And she does these like weird lists on her TikTok. Love a list. But her list was highs. I'm
still chasing. And I was like, wait, this is so brilliant. And for me, it went directly to
the best i've ever felt in my life and the most excited to be alive which was i think i was in
grade four or five the edmonton they were eskimos at the time now edmonton elks but the eskimos were
playing in the canadian football league and i got to go and they when you came in they gave you a
plastic pom-pom that was green and yellow the color of the team and i had like nosebleed section
thing. And then after the football game was played, we got to go down and we were on the
football field. I don't know why this was so magical, but it was like a Friday night lights
moment, but it was like, it was dark. It was summer and summer. So short in Canada is like
just the perfect summer night, the lights from the end zones. And then for some reason,
I just started doing cartwheels and screaming that I was happy. And it was like cartwheel.
And then I was like, cartwheel, like just, but like I was, I was not a child.
I was like a teen and I, I felt like I was in a movie and like the movie of my life.
And that's the high I'm still been chasing my whole life.
That's the most magical moment of my whole life.
Oh my God.
So incredible.
Yeah.
So I really got off on this and I thought, you know what?
Highs I'm still chasing is a great topic for us.
Some of the highs I'm still chasing that she gave as examples just to get us ready.
Give her examples.
Reading the Harry Potter books for the first time.
Oh, yeah.
Like the feeling of reading Harry Potter, standing in line, getting the Harry Potter books, finding out what happened.
It's so big.
You just like got it.
You sat down on the weekend.
You took it all in.
The last day of school.
that feeling of like the binders are clear see you next see in the summer like that's just such
a feeling you know and like trying to take all the shit from your locker home and trying to get
that last look at your crush that you have no well when i was in school like we didn't have
cell phones in the internet so there really wasn't like a way to communicate unless you'd
like called their house and you're like hi mrs pernick can i talk to ben like so fucking awkward
okay the book fair as a kid oh the book fair i forgot about the book fair yeah it's a good one
don't with the book fair you go in and like did you pay for the books beforehand and you got to
just choose five how did that work i don't remember i don't remember i think every obviously
every school is different but i i imagine that your parents like load up an account for you
or like they you know and there was like a book a book for like a check from my mom
yeah oh the book fair they give you little bookmarks yeah god and then my last example
was uh her example was highs i'm still chasing the frozen yogurt era i feel like it's past
but there was an era where like every night it was like let's walk and get fro-yo
and people were frozen yogurting like they weren't let's not meet for coffee let's meet for fro-yo
well it's like when there was only one pinkberry location in the entire world in beverly hills
and that was like a destination oh my god you're right yep that one closed so sad yeah you know
what i i was reminded of so every time i this is a little off topic but i guess this is a high i'm
still chasing every time i go to la i always i always go there and when i'm there i'm like what
do i need to eat what do what do i miss that i don't have and i always get like i can never
think of it ever so then i always come home and then a couple days later i'm like damn it
i should have gotten that thing have you guys ever had go greek um it's in beverly hills
yes there's one in santa monica too it's the best thing i've ever had in my life
ever in my life it is the most delicious frozen yogurt it's frozen greek yogurt it is kelty when
i'm there in august if you don't remind us we have to go we must go to beverly hills
no Beverly Hills there's one oh great okay so I love Greek yogurt tell me tell me more about
the experience do they have the thing do you serve yourself you you serve yourself and then
they have the toppings what are the toppings the fruits and the like granola and the things I don't
think I can't if my memory serves me right I don't think they do like Kit Kat bars on top
no it's like healthy toppings yeah but it it's so delicious so I'm still chasing that high and I'm
chase that high when I'm there for Jack's bridal shower. I forgot about that too. So good. So good.
Okay. So I have a few more for me, but I want to hear from you ladies, Jack, give us a high.
You're still chasing. Okay. I, so you're talking about like the best that you've ever felt in your
life was in fourth grade going in the, doing cartwheels on the football field. The best I've
ever felt in my life is in my emo era when I was younger. So a lot of mine have to do with like
certain moments back then but I want to start with one that was earlier than that and very
specific and niche but I used to do seat filling when I was like a kid so I was a seat filler
and the high that I am chasing is when my mom would find like an awesome thing for me to go to
and she would call me sick out of school and then drive me all the way up to LA and like bring me to
something and there was a specific one that I went to Britney Spears's album release party
oh i remember this and there's like i gotta ask her a question on tv and it was on mtv and i sat
right next to her i was probably 13 like it was literally the best moment of my entire life
but like at that age i'm like that is a high that i will never feel again is just being called out
of school you know when your mom calls you out of school for like to get you ice cream or something
like that but like no that did not go meet your idol sheila was like go to school oh you have the
like get away from me yeah they're like she's throwing up but is it blood yeah my mom is
literally scouring the old school internet being like what cool thing can i bring jacqueline to
today oh my god that's so yeah that's my that's my one i'll start with the rest of them are pretty
emo focused but i love it yeah becca aha you're still chasing okay so there's one it's a memory
that i had multiple times growing up but a friday night going to blockbuster oh yeah you would get
there and it would be in time for like the new releases to not all be gone so you would like
you'd be like i gotta see you know the wedding planner like i hope it's there i hope it's there
and they like you get there and it's there's like one left or you're coming in the door and someone's
returning the the like last one or whatever so the friday night at blockbuster is something i'm still
chasing constantly that feeling of like a friday night movie it was so crazy and remember how like
if it was a important movie they would have like multiple things and then it was like the cover was
sitting face out and then the the actual movie was behind it or beside it and so you could tell
like how many were left and then you would like get so excited and run up and and like then the
whole thing would be empty and then the carpet was always a weird pattern and then there was like
it was so gross remember the mirrors where you could look up and it was like at the not the
baseboard but whatever's on top and you could just see like around the store was it so people
could find each other because there were so many aisles like the tilted mirror like on the side
yeah wait did they used to have a back section and blockbuster that's what i'm asking about next
like an r-rated section or something oh there was an r-rated section yes but like it was like
in a secret like sketchy room yeah and it was like you just avoided it and you were like a kid but
you didn't know it was in there but you knew you weren't allowed to go in yeah and even like the
covers were sexy yeah yeah people read porn back there or what no just like dances with wolves and
like yeah sexual things dances with wolves was available for us out front no it was not sex
dances with wolves was the first time i saw a sex scene so it had to have been rated r oh the you're
i'm sorry we're talking about two different sections i'm talking about our section oh was
i need to know they didn't have a porn section i was just joking there is a porn section no
well maybe not blockbuster but a plus video insured park definitely had a porn section
absolutely don't don't blockbuster the corporation on their name you guys know that there's one
blockbuster i mean i think it's still left in eugene oregon it's the last blockbuster there
was like a documentary about it yes it's incredible and they had so many different
like kinds of candies at that oh like you would just like you know and the popcorn bucket where
the popcorn wasn't popped yet but it was ready to go in the bucket and it was i used to my mom
used to get twizzlers i love twizzlers from from blockbuster they all you can only get them from
blockbuster yeah you're like can i get all four movies and they're like when the you know watches
you have to be back there's a 24-hour rental and then you'd like choose one oh my god it was so
and my movie place um okay so this is extra lame on the first of the month or like whenever new
movies came in they had you know the posters of what the movies were like covering the windows
and then sometimes they'd have those like stand-up cardboard things you remember when we made like
lady game cardboard cutouts of ourselves so they have like the cardboard cutout of tom cruise or
whatever and if you could you could go this isn't blockbuster but this is a plus video the last day
the movie was available and get the cardboard cutout no you had to go when the new cutouts
and the new posters arrived and they let you signed your name on the back and then you came
at the end of the month and took your shit home my best friend katie because it was her brother
they're twins like they had more cardboard cutouts in their basement it was like their passion they
had every like from animated to like it was insanity we still have so many cardboard cutouts
and we just play with them and the movie posters I remember I had I don't even like Mel Gibson but
I remember he did that like really romantic movie in the 90s where he's like a pilot Forever Young
Forever Young with Mel Gibson that poster was on my wall I don't even like that movie
but it was like all I could get my hands on you know that's incredible that is amazing
you're listening to the lady gang another high i'm chasing is when i would go back to school
shopping with my mom and my sister oh that's cute because she'd take us like the week before
school started and we would go to the gap kids and limited to and we'd get all the things that
we like bring them in the fitting room and my sister and i would like share the fitting room
together and i was so annoying and i would get so excited i would like dance in the mirror when i
found an outfit that I liked and it's like that is something I still kind of enjoy if I'm in the
right mood going with my mom and my sister actual clothes shopping in fitting rooms it's so fun
oh my gosh you didn't have like even thinking about back to school shopping gives me the worst
anxiety like I hate that time of year so much that even as an adult I like I get stressed out
by seeing back to school stuff oh I only enjoyed it for the clothes shopping because I knew I was
getting a full new wardrobe so it's not the same going to staples for your new binders
no that sucked sounds like i did have like an like a exciting unrealistic it's kind of like
when i started bujoing for that one moment in time like i have this glass half full moment
you know where i'm like it's going to be different this time uh-huh but it's like when we write our
list for the beginning of the year it's going to be different that time and it's i'm still not
going surfing with Kelty, you know? Yeah. I have a high. I'm still chasing that is bounced. I just
got remembered of a high. I'm still chasing based off that. So I didn't back to school shop. Um,
cause we were thrifty. I got back to school hand-me-downs. And so Nancy, my mom's friend's
daughter was like a year, two older than me. And Nancy would come over. I, and they were like
fancy people, I think. Um, and she would bring three to four black trash bags full of hand-me-downs
And we put them in the basement on the shag carpet.
And it was like the best day of my life.
And they smelt like hand-me-downs.
Like, you know, you know how every house has a smell.
Yeah.
Like, so their clothes smelt like their house.
They didn't smell like my house.
And it was all girl clothes.
It was better than a shopping spree.
And I would go through and it was like such a wide variety of things.
Some dance things, a Christmas dress, some corduroys, some outdoor clothes, a sweatsuit.
and I specifically remember it then turning sour because there was like this teal sweatsuit. If
they could look at me now, there was this teal sweatsuit that had pink across like a pink tube
top across the top stripe. And in grade five, I decided that I was not wearing leggings or sweats
to school anymore. I was grown up and I was, she was a lady. I was only wearing jeans. Oh my God.
denim only because I'm now I'm a tween and my mom was a teacher and then was a substitute teacher
and so one day she was substitute teaching at my elementary school and I can't remember why but
like she made me or she like laid out for me I don't remember this is so embarrassing she laid
out the ugly sweatsuit and so it was it had been months of me being so chic with my like little
blouses and jeans and then i had to wear the ugly sweatsuit to school and i was mortified the hand
me down a little bit of oil stain ugly sweatsuit and anyway i'm high as i'm still chasing the hand
me downs i think that's why i love second hand shopping so much and like value village shopping
because it gives you nostalgia yeah it's true remember when we were driving from um where were
we driving from me you chris and zach and we stopped at a nordstrom rack and you were like
screaming how much you loved adult pleasures yes that's an adult pleasure wait i'm gonna do
we're gonna hold do a whole episode about adult pleasure adult pleasure is pretty good um when
you're talking about your fancy outfits it reminds me i've seen all these tiktoks about like
millennials when we were going out to the clubs when we were like 20 and like why were our outfits
business casual like everybody was wearing skinny jeans with like a blazer and a big chunky necklace
it's like why were we dressing pump yeah it's like a pointy toed kitten heel i'm like why are
we dressing like we're 50 it's so true so sexual um a high that i am still chasing is the feeling
that when you log on to your parents computer in your living room and you log on to your myspace
and you get on and you see all the notifications like that was the start of the end you know it's
like I got new mail there's new bulletins I got new comments I got new likes and it was like that
really started to fuel the demon inside of me wonder what the personality difference like type
is that like I never did in my space and I never did Facebook until like Instagram Instagram and I
to me that was like my version of hell so I don't understand like what the difference is at all but
Well, well, my space, well, I did it cause of like concerts and like the, the scene and
stuff like, yeah, it was the community of that.
Like that was the reason why I was doing all of that.
And I feel like a lot of people did like, even in my high school, a lot of people didn't
have my space.
It was like only like the scene kids that were going to the concerts.
Okay.
It's because you could, Becca, you could, um, play, it was like, you could play a song
on your MySpace page as the theme.
That's another high.
So it was like a passive aggressive way of letting everybody know how you were doing.
So instead of posting like a reel or a quote, you put like my chemical romance.
I'm not okay.
What the way message is on aim too.
That's a high that I'm chasing is being able to write a passive aggressive away message
with lyrics.
Wow.
Okay.
Like my boyfriend and I, when I was 14, broke up after dating for four days.
i probably have said this before but i there's this bad religion song with the quote there will
be no sorrow no more and that's what i put on my way message yeah four days that is amazing
it was a big one dave um okay a high that i have been chasing is so you think you can dance as a
whole as a whole show okay um now that like on tiktok a lot i'm on dance tiktok a lot and a lot
of people are posting like old amazing so you think you dance uh duets and stuff from that show
and i just like i i just love watching really good dancers do contemporary dance i know that
sounds so weird but like you can watch ballet and you can watch broadway but like they can
the Jason Mraz, all I really want to do is to love you. Like, just like these, like really cool.
I don't know. It's just, it was such a fricking cool show and Kat Deely coming out with her
little outfits every week. And like, I don't know, it was just such a special show. And I know that
it was on the air again, like a couple of years ago. And it's just, obviously it's lost his sparkle,
but like in its heyday, so rad. That's how I feel about lost. It just reminded me of that.
i will never feel the high that i felt when i watched lost time you talk about lost i think
of this is 40 and maude apatow her character is like obsessed with with lost it's me it's you
that is a high anybody that watched lost they know there's nothing that will make me feel that
way and it sucks yeah and you had to watch like just one a week right because you couldn't binge
it i binged because i started after season five so i watched like 500 hours of television in like
a month so i could watch season six and dress up wow it was my whole life wow becca do you have
another high you're chasing yes um another high i'm choosing is my very first paid job as an actor
like my very first as an adult where i was doing cats in houston texas mr mistoffelees
you have your favorite song
Magic of Miss
Sexy mature
for all the tape
19
for all the tape
and I was so fucking excited
to have been cast
with like all these professionals
and we would go out every night
and like get so drunk
and I'm sure we were so obnoxious
but I was going to like gay clubs
for the first time
and I was like just having
and it was like being at camp
but as an adult
And I was like, this is going to be my job forever.
Like I felt like I, there was like a glitch in the simulation and I somehow managed to
get the coolest job life ever.
Granted, every job since then has had a sprinkling of that, but it's not the same.
No, it'll never be the same.
It became a job.
Highs I'm still chasing.
This is my last one.
Okay. So I, I have a, they, they call it a core memory now, but like, I have this core now we're
sold. You know, people are like, it's a core memory. Yeah. I have this memory in, you know,
listen, you know, I love attention and, you know, I love to be on stage and I've been on stage
in many different ways from performing in live in front of people. And then also like hosting
things and then doing TV. Like there's been a lot of opportunity for me to like have onstage moments,
But the best onstage moment and the high I'm still chasing, I'm backstage in the Denver Center of the Performing Arts where I was a touring rockette for my first season of the Rockettes.
I'm wearing a suntan tight, a heeled tap shoe, a white bodysuit with silver shimmer on it, super high cut, that has a little half marabou peplum skirt and marabou, you know, that's like fur, fur cuffs, and then a big tilted side marabou hat, my red lip.
And we've been in rehearsals, which as a first season rockette was like, you literally didn't even know what was happening.
It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
And we'd done all these dress rehearsals and no audience, no audience, no audience.
And then finally it was opening night.
And I can remember because I was the first person out of the wings.
We had this giant wreath number where we'd flip these like sparkly wreaths.
And one side was green, one side was gold.
And you'd be like, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
And it was like, need a little Christmas.
Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum.
that was like the music changed from like the opening thing to like the rockets strutting out
and i just remember standing in that wing and being so nervous and then it was like
need a little christmas and then i was just like and like those first two taps onto the stage
were like the greatest moment of my life i would do anything to feel that excited and pumped about
anything in my life damn yeah did that inspire you jack you got one last one for us um yeah
i feel like i'll forever well i'm not chasing this high because it's actually not great but
the feeling of talking to your crush and like texting them like into all hours of the night
and like the little jolts of dopamine that you get with every little text and like you don't
know if they're going to respond to you or if they hate you and butterflies and nerves and all of
that. Like that was, I won't say it's a good feeling. Cause it's not. Cause it's like, it's
just like nerves and wondering if they're going to bail or not, but it feels kind of good for
the second. I love it. Well, listen, lady and community, we're, we're dying to know what
you're the highs you're still chasing. We're going to do a poll on our Instagram
and i want to know and i also love this and um i feel like all of mine are about attention but
