the holidays merry messy and magical our good friend jonathan bennett that is the best intro i've ever had thank you so much oh my gosh well first of all you guys are just the best i i watch all you know the events you guys are doing for lady gang and everything you're doing and i watch all of it on instagram and how much joy and magic you're bringing to so many people and giving them a place to belong right you're giving so many ladies a place to belong where you can they can come together and just have a good time and like connect and it's just so powerful and i'm just so impressed with you guys thank you making us cry on a tuesday what do you think was more insane lady world or the hallmark christmas cruise oh my gosh well i can tell you the hallmark christmas

cruise was absolutely out of it was it's bonkers like for those of you that don't know the hallmark Christmas cruise is exactly what it sounds like. We charter an entire 6,000 passenger ship and we fill it with Hallmark fans. And the cruise sells out in like one day, like 6,000 people, 3,000 some cabins. Didn't they add like a second one as well? We added a second one last year and now we just got back last week from our third one for the one for this year. And it's just, it's absolutely bonkers but what i love about it is like it's gives people a place to belong much like lady world does you know like whatever whatever your thing is that you're into like if you're into christmas and hallmark movies then you have a place where you can go and hang out

with other people that love christmas and hallmark movies and it's christmas at sea so it's just it's it's wild you know we do shows we play games all you know we had 18 hallmark stars there and you know sign autographs take pictures it's just a party for five days and i i hosted festive feud which is like our game show like kind of like a family feud where the stars play with the fans as like teams and we had to do it five times because the theater can only hold like a thousand people so we had to do the show five times and it was the best i mean it was just it's such an amazing experience i love it how drunk did everybody get on that cruise people drink it's i mean you gotta remember people are on vacation people yeah drink and what's fun is

like you know the more people drink the more they feel that um they can do whatever they want and uh and that's really interesting uh and but it's so fun because they just want to take a picture with you they want to hug you so we gave out a lot of hugs like it's it's it's absolutely wild i never it just shows that hallmark channel has become more than just a network it's part of pop culture right it's like part of people's fabric of their life and it's a very special network to be involved with because there's so many people you know especially like you know nurses people in hospitals during the holidays when they have you know they can't be with their families what do they do they put on homework channel and watch the movies so in a way homework actors have become

part of people's families and that's how people feel and view it and it's it's such a cool thing that's so fun i want to go that's what i'll be doing this holiday season all right yeah there you go you're going we've invited jonathan to be a part of good week bad week this week because we needed his christmas cheer and also disaster so let's take it away becca wait i feel like you guys look i have a i'm drinking on my stanley cup oh look at you basic bitch cheers look at me well it's time for good week yes it is bad week oh no my bad week is this i am turning 40 that's not the bad part because it's a gift to age right but i'm gonna be 40 in january and i am an anti-birthday person i am a i don't like to celebrate a birthday i don't like to be celebrated

unless you're paying me uh-huh um and so i don't know what to do because i can't just have it be any ordinary day because that's depressing as i also don't want any kind of fanfare or party in my honor. So I need you guys to help me decide what to do. The Lady Gang community really helped me with Zach's 40th that we recently had. I'm stuck. Like I've never been less decisive in my whole entire life. What about like a spa day turned into like some nice cocktails or something chill with a friend hmm a friend or i don't know how do i select one friend i mean it just doesn't seem like a big group activity oh a contest yeah a contest online who wants to go with becca and be fully nude in the spa in a robe oh and do like one of the like women's spas you know what

i mean yes and then it's a contest like a cream spot that's definitely what becca wants to do on her birthday is hang out with a stranger yes definitely definitely well lady gang please send me your dms because i need some inspiration i don't know what to do truly my worst nightmare would be a surprise party with everybody that i know in my whole life like to to blend the groups of friends together gives me extreme anxiety some people are like i love it everybody that i love is in one room and i'm like this is my nightmare so that's my that's my um bad week my my good week is that um cam is on tour you guys my favorite singer cam is on tour it is happening what's a cam but i don't know anything like is this a popular person it's a country he's a country singer

she's popular to us to me okay um she is on tour and i talk about her a lot on this podcast and i share a few other lady gangers share my fan enthusiasm my cam enthusiasm and you guys she's on tour with her new album i'm so excited i have yet to pick the city and date that i'm going to go to but i'll let you guys know because i'd like to see many of you there could that be what you do on your 40th oh yeah the problem with this is that she's in tucson arizona the weekend of my 40th you've always said you wanted to get to tucson arizona you're right you're right i was just saying this last week i think it's a destination or is it or is it flagstaff no flagstaff is the actual like mountain town okay maybe it is flagstaff hold on i'm pulling i have

If you're in Flagstaff, you should go. Flagstaff is gorgeous. She's in Flagstaff. Flagstaff is like Big Bear. Wait, maybe I'd meet you there. But are there luxury hotels there? There's a nice hotel there. I've stayed there.

And also, you're near the Vortex, which is a great way to, like, zoom in your 40th. Like, you could do one day at camp and then go to Sedona and then, like, be in a Vortex. Have you been to Sedona? I have. I have. They have that Enchantment Hotel there that's supposed to be really beautiful. Oh, yeah. Okay.

You know what? my good week on a weekend okay all right well let me i'll consider but you guys i'm just very excited it's a birthday it's my birthday wish is cam is on tour oh my god all right dreams can come true thank you i'm gonna go um my good week is my husband has been installing our brand new fireplace over the past week and my good week in general is just having a handy husband jared can do i'm sorry kelty kelty's husband like can't even hang a picture but jared he like i'm like watching him i'm like this you could be a construction worker i know you don't need to change jobs but you could and he's just hand figuring it all out watching youtube

videos like plastering doing tile work doing everything and i i'm just very fortunate to have a man that's good with his hands it's very nice sorry i mean that's why he married him right no um well i married him because well yeah but this was like a happy a happy like thing i've learned since we've because we bought a house last year and we're like renovating it we had obviously most of the work done professionally but now we're doing all the diy stuff and he he is a diy-er and he can just like do anything it's very let's go jerry do you ever like put the little outfit on and go you don't have to go to work work work but you gotta put in work work from fifth do you know if that is the fifth harmony put in work and they're like

are they wearing outfits yes no not me um my bad week is i ordered this brand new beautiful set of dinnerware from zara home i talked about zara home recently they're the most underrated like homewares brand and it got delivered yesterday and i looked out the window as the guy was like bringing all of the boxes and i heard a massive crash oh no and i i opened the door as i like heard the crash and he's like and then like runs away and literally everything is broken and zara has the worst returns like they know they're fast fashion and so they're like good luck returning this like you got to bring it into the store like there's no how like they're not going to accept those dishes at the store what are they going to do with them and like you can't mail

it back well and they only have ai customer service which i have exactly no zara lives in a different planet that's why i literally do not shop there unless i'm in store anymore because you cannot return something they don't exist it's not real it's a hallucination it it is you it's a fever dream you're you better love it because you're but jack broken well i don't understand that but what if you did that ancient you know the gold kintsugi i think it's called can you imagine if you spent the money on the gold to kintsugi your zara broken zara dishes my 12 dollar zara plate what the hell are you talking about they did this in japan i'm sorry i'm not up to date on my latest housewives um the program wait what you do is it what is this gold thing

kintsuji okay i was right so in broken dishes yeah it's like the art it's like a japanese thing when your dish when something breaks you like put magic in it and you put it together with the gold flakes and then it's like now like a beautiful mosaic it symbolizes resilience renewal and embracing flaws as part of an object's beauty and history exactly well if we don't have an event for lady world tour 2026 now we do yeah there it is let's get together we're gonna just bring everyone bring your broken dishes and we're gonna broken hearts together with gold leaf and your broken souls listen i was about to pay 200 for one of these classes in japan so i would be on board i mean it sounds correct like i think it's cool i just have never i didn't know this was something

Again. So I know I was so thrilled to be asked to present at an award show. And it's not a great award show. It's an award show I'd never heard of before, but allegedly it's in like it's 30, 50 year. It's it's on CBS.

It's the Family and TV Awards. have you ever received one of these, Jonathan? No. Okay. So even he doesn't know what it is. Anyway, I'm thrilled to be presenting the award for best reality series at this award show. And I was very honored to be asked. And so I got to present there. And as part of me being a presenter, I got to walk the red carpet as a famous person, not as the person interviewing the famous person, which was also delicious. Now, when I say red carpet, I mean, there was two people, one photographer and then a house crew. This was not like the Oscars where people were like, look over here, look over here. They were like, Kelsey, please take this photo. And then

we're actually only going to use Jeff Probst's photo, but that's fine. And Adam Sandler, but like we need to use your photo anyway. So then I get to like the house crew and they're like, we're just going to ask you some super easy questions. And like, it's a family show, right? I do not live in family world. I'm on the Lady Gang podcast. I'm on E! News and I'm wearing a dress that has a slit up to my hoo-ha that they did approve, but it's pretty sexy. I didn't come family ready. I'm not in a circle skirt as one would. So anyway, they're asking me all these questions and they're all family related. And you guys know, I basically live alone. Chris Knight doesn't even live in my house anymore. He's gone. So they're like, what's your favorite holiday

tradition with your family? I'm like, being alone. I don't know what to answer. So then the most embarrassing part when the publicist for the show had to step in and re like re-ask the question is they go what's your favorite like family movie of all time and i was like well obviously clueless what family movie is clueless not a family movie absolutely the publicist came in and was like we're gonna do that one again maybe you should say um they made me say something i've never even seen like um star star wars or something they're like home alone i think home alone is a great one i think a family movie has to maybe have a family aspect to it also doesn't yeah it's not like you're making out with your stepbrother because that's what happens in clueless so that's not a

family movie but she's keeping it in the family technically a family movie thank you i just i'm like thinking about like what movie would you sit down and watch with your family it's not like it's baby girl like i could watch clueless with my dad when it comes on tv yeah they're talking about children i guess i were they though because survivor is not for children and that's the award i gave out oh oh yeah no kids watch survivor oh my god the good thing is kelty no one will ever see this interview thank you so much because who's watching whatever this is and who is going to watch the interviews for whatever that was. Yeah, nobody's watching the red carpet moments.

Okay, my good week is on the flip side of that. i was recently in an elevator in new york city and i got recognized cool by who is what i want to know a fan of me a fan of kelty i love you so much i love your outfits on e-news i was like it got canceled but thank you so much like this is the person

watching e-news i'm the one person yes thank you so much oh my god i'm just like i'm honored and but here's the thing anytime you know i'm the kind of star that people stare at me because they think they went to college with me do you know what i mean like they jonathan they're like oh i know him you know what i mean but they look at me and i'm like on an airplane or like i go get a facial and they're like you look yeah look like someone i've seen i don't know did we go to college together i'm like no bitch i've been on your tv and um no so anyway it's a thrill when someone's actually like kelty oh my god can i take a picture with you oh congrats congratulations and you deserve it because you're on everyone's tv for years and years and years yes and years just want to be

remembered you know i want to be important now back to the lady gang jonathan what's your good i have those things of like when you say that though like i just don't remember i say this to my husband all the time i'm like when i die do you think i'll get one of the things on one of the shows with like the black and white in memoriam or am i not am i not cool enough because if i don't get one of those it's gonna be so sad no you would be in the show to get a remembrance like would it be finding mr christmas yes no like at the award shows like at the sag awards oh yeah you know when someone passes away and it's like i think i'm like did i make i'm like i just want to know like will i make the cut you know what i mean you'll make the cut the three of

I think it would be the Emmys and the SAG Awards. You will make the cuts. I don't know about the Oscars and Memorial yet, but we'll see. Well, here's the thing. I'm going to give you my – But maybe for Mean Girls, it's kind of iconic. Yeah, maybe for Mean Girls. Yeah.

She was like, we're on the group chat and we're all talking about it. And I said, can I just like jump in here? At least they used a super hot picture of you for your divorce announcement

on TMZ. You know what I mean? Like I was prepared to call my friend over there and be like, we need to switch this out. We need a super hot photo. Like that's the kind of friend I am. It's it matters my husband and his best friend have a collection of photos on their phone that they send to each other when there's a good photo they send it and they're like for the you know memorial photo like for the slideshow at your funeral like these are the photos we want to be using why is it that when you take a bad photo on a red carpet or you're out like they use it forever and they use it for everything it's like there's one where i i look i mean i look pregnant like I don't know what I I'm like my face is puffy I my stomach is sticking out for some

reason I'm standing in weird position and I'm just like how is this the photo of all the photos online that when you're doing the article that's the one we'll use it's lazy journalism it's because you know everyone has to stay humble because you get up there and then they have to smack you back down and then you get up there and they like to build you up so they can knock you down bingo bingo babe no offense to jonathan like he's not needing to be knocked down he's lovely he's lovely and he's lovely because he has been knocked down haven't you met the people who have not been knocked down they're all dicks yeah they're dicks they're the people humble they're the people that have the the approvals you know what i mean like they walk a red carpet and then

christmas and he has this ep that's amazing and he has this really sexy song on it called sos and it's like about christmas and it's like a country like it's just like giving you like alabama vibes it's so sexy it's because he's got that raspy voice the sexiest voice gorgeous very good and what i love is that james before i met james james performed in vegas he sang and was the host of chippendales for years he sang in a million giant vegas shows with like 50 piece orchestras and he's such a performer and he wrote this christmas album and on the hallmark cruise they asked him to sing some songs to the fans. And the fans are more obsessed with my husband than they are with me. And it makes me so happy. And so he performed a few of his songs from Feels

Like Christmas on the boat. And when he sang SOS, it was the first time he sang that song live with a crowd. The crowd started line dancing. He was up on the stage, walked out into the crowd, was standing on like a table. And the fans were just like eating it up, eating out of the palm of his hands and he was just such a star and it was so fun to see him like be in his element you know what i mean because i i never got to see him perform in those massive shows so it's like oh that's right my husband is a pop star pop country star and he knows how to turn it on like he gave them the show and he's got that chippendales host uh singer background so when he goes out there and like does his thing with his body like they eat it up and it was just so hot and sexy i just want

to say thank you so much for bringing sexy back to christmas because zach makes fun of me that my favorite christmas album is christina aguilera and he listened to it i played it for him when we started dating and he was like this is not christmas this is slutty music and i was like this is why it's the only christmas music i like so i am downloading this immediately yeah uh feels like christmas james vaughn it's on spotify everywhere you can get music it is absolutely so good like the songs are so good and this sos song has got this like guitar that's just ratchet and you'll love it i'm just playing it can we play it at the end right now play a little bit play a little bit you can play

oh my god oh yes this is so cute it's about like not being your bet like it's so good it's like i'm on the naughty list basically i forgot how great his voice is it's so annoying when people can naturally sing Can we, like, because this is his music, can we write a Hallmark movie where this music is? then like they're so wonderful and they are so supportive of us on social and following our life so we're like i i would love to do a hallmark movie with my husband and like do some cool thing where he's like a singer can i play his sister that also sings yes thank you wait we're gonna finally get back into sing wait they're in a duo they're in a duo a duo a country and we get cam to be the opening act and the sister is you probably already have it written but the sister is very jealous of James' love and is worried that

James is not focusing on the duo. On the music. Focusing on love too much and James has to choose between family or chosen family. Oh, God. It's beautiful. Done. Sold. On an all new Hallmark Channel original movie.

Okay, what's your bad week? My bad week. Flying back from the Hallmark Christmas cruise. Oh, no. They lost our luggage. No. the worst and all of our flights were delayed because of what's going on with air travel so for people that are traveling make sure you like really take this seriously because this airline stuff right now is no joke like we had they hallmark booked us four flights home just to be safe to make sure we would get one and we got our second flight the second flight worked

and we were able to do it but our luggage was attached to the first flight so we had no luggage So if you're traveling, make sure you put the stuff you need in your backpack because it's wild. It's Wild West out there right now. Don't you have an airline brand deal? Didn't I see you do an ad? I do, but I was not flying on that airline. Big mistake. Huge.

Big mistake. Huge. Did they find your luggage eventually? Yes, they did. We found it. It took like two days, but we got it. It's fine. but it's just one of those things where you're like that nervousness of like

am i gonna get it back because like all this is why i wanted it because i recently got the co2 laser gorgeous i don't know if you know of this laser it's the best laser in the world your whole skin melts off but all the expensive creams that they have to you have to use after in my suitcase and i'm like that's like six hundred dollars worth of product like i they lose it and be so mad and they only reimburse you for like 60 yeah um so that was my bad week so good week was watching james sing bad week was losing our luggage i have a question for you have you guys ever seen the tiktoks of what it looks like like the journey of your luggage like you know sometimes people put like a little camera on it it's fascinating what goes on in the bowels of the airport

it's like a disney movie like when you see like all the like there's like conveyor belts like moving everything it looks crazy have you ever seen the disney ones where they do the ride with the light on i hate it ruined everything for me not ruined peter pan no light space mountain is like whatever because it's it's an you know it's a what's it called roller coaster so you're like oh i'm looking at things the most depressing one is peter pan when you look and you're like i've been flying over a tiny miniature gi joe diorama this whole time and you're like that's because peter pan gave me like real magic you know what i mean like when you it's the back rooms all right when we come back more with jonathan

you're listening to the lady gang okay jonathan you are back you are executive producing and hosting finding mr christmas season two now last year we found ezra who has now been in a bunch of movies yeah he's done two hallmark movies and he uh is moved to new york and because the show he's been modeling and like working like crazy in every commercial and modeling gig out there like he's booked and blessed every single day he's he's such a star and for those of you that don't know what finding mr christmas is finding mr christmas is in season two three critic choice award nominations last year by the way i was so excited for that that we got nominated for best host and best show um it was so cool to like be recognized for how cool the show is um it's the the show is 10 hot

guys all competing to be hallmark's next movie star so it's 10 hot guys all competing to be the next leading man of hallmark and we put them through different challenges and acting challenges where they basically are put in scenes with the actual Hallmark stars. We have, like, Nikki Deloach and Hunter King and Aaron Krakow and all these huge megastars from Hallmark, and each of them are a guest star each episode, and the guys compete in doing scenes, like, acting with them, and then one by one they're eliminated.

The winner is Crown Mr. Christmas, and he gets his own Hallmark Christmas movie. It's like Project Runway for men. yeah it's it's like drag race and project runway combined to make like the best tv decider.com and i'm paraphrasing here but like they said the best review of the show they go on paper this shouldn't work but yet somehow when you watch it it becomes the most strangely addictive show you've ever seen i love it like i can't stop watching once you start okay so introduce us to the bends okay so this season we the challenges are bigger the hunks are hunkier i'm gonna show you our 10 guys

number one thor guy big big thor um jake and the i like drake the prince the disney prince prince yeah and i like the guy that's in all the ads the the muscly fisher my yeah that's my number one the blonde boy and then my number two is the first guy with the that looks like a mountain jake yeah yeah we find them by lindsey lyles our casting director so when i was putting the show together i was very smart and i said we should hire the woman that cast the bachelor because she's going to have pockets full of men guys that didn't make it on the bachelor but are good for what we need what we need on our show and so she she's she's just the best like she she's so connected she's so well at what she's really good at doing is also putting the puzzle together right like these guys

it's not your typical reality show like they don't walk in and start fighting you know they're competing but there's there's no fighting on our show it's all just very like wholesome and when which is what you want during the holidays when you're watching like a christmas show you just want to turn it on you know turn it on binge it with your girlfriends drink wine there's so many people that have fantasy football type leagues online of our guys oh my god and so they're all playing like you know the different fantasy leagues of like who they think's gonna win and that's what's so fun about the show because it just like brings people together and lets them like live out their like their hallmark hunk fantasy of like oh i think he's my guy you know

i mean it's literally what they do but they walk in as 10 competitors and they end up leaving as brothers like all these guys are best friends like they they have a group chat they all hang out after like after the show was done like they all hang out i feel like guys from last year like living together like i because i follow them all and i'm like really really stayed friends they all say friends and that's what hallmark channel does differently when we do reality right like it's not about tearing each other down on a reality show it's about building each other up and when you build each other up it makes the person that's doing the building it makes them better like they end up becoming better actors better competitors because even though they all

want to win they're always every single challenge helping each other to shine and it's watching that come together and you have grown men talking about their feelings and getting vulnerable and opening up and they they cry and they they get through this emotional stuff together and it's really fascinating to see like there's not a show like this in the world where it's like 10 hot grown men talking about their feelings and like connecting and like being vulnerable to like cry and like let you know talk about things that they normally don't talk about so even though it's a competition it's really this like different layer that we've never seen have any of them fallen in love with each other no there's we have a gay contestant on the show robbie um but all all the

other guys they're all majority of them are married or dating and dating a girl and uh our only single one is drake perfect there's only one single guy i mean look at him do you think wait which one was drake got snatched this guy got booed up disney prince oh oh yeah wait so i have a question they're not all actors or they all are actors well that's the fun part about the show so anyone that wants to be in a hallmark movie and feels they have what it takes can apply you don't have to have been an actor i know i tried yes you tried i didn't get a call back oh my god well you did get to be on season one though and that was the highlight of my season um so jake shum is an nfl player right he plays for the nfl and after you're done with football what do

you do next and he's like trying to figure out what he does next and he's always wanted to be an actor so this is a great place for him to come and see if he has what it takes to make it happen right and then some of them are models that like you know we have we have a rustin the guy that is a singer he's a singer but he's also an emt you know he's an emt as well so like cool and then we have some guys that have had like bit parts and like little movies or tv shows but never that like leading role so it's really a collection of all different guys from everything and they all end up learning something about themselves from each other like the guys that have not like Davey Fisher gets to set. And he's like, this was the best bootcamp I've ever been

through. Davey's the one you like Kelty from the Instagram ads. He's like the first, the first episode, I was like, you have to go stand on your mark. And he turned to Marcus and was like, what's a mark. And like, so you have guys that never did it, which is what I think is so funny is that like, everyone sees these Hallmark movies. And sometimes there's like joke about Hallmark, you know, all they're so cheesy, all that stuff that people say, yeah, they are. But guess what? you love them and the thing is you can't everyone thinks they can be in a hallmark movie and like when you actually put them through this show we're kind of pulling back the curtain and showing what they have to do to be a hallmark leading man and it's way harder than it looks like there's so much

nuance to it that like people don't understand because like for example our acting challenges the first challenge is the meet cute so just like in every hallmark movie they have a meet cute they had a meet cute with janelle parish where i put them on skis we put them on skis they have 10 minutes to learn their scene and then they have to ski down a hill and do a scene with janelle parish and have one take to get it right half of the guys that never skied before oh my god having to like figure out how to ski while doing an acting scene and being good and not and do well enough where you don't get eliminated i'm obsessed with you and then yeah we we put them in harnesses and I fly them 30 feet through the air

dressed as sexy reindeer. It's on my Instagram. You can go look. They have to be sexy reindeer and we put them in a harness and like fly them through the air and they have to do a photo shoot to be like sexy reindeer.

And then we put them on a horse one episode with Allie Sweeney and they have to do a scene on a horse and they get one take to get it right. And you know what it's like working with animals. Like sometimes the horse is going to stop or go backwards or do things that you don't want it to do.

And they just have to roll with it and like stay in character and do the scene. So I mean, this season, And we really upped all the challenges. Wow. I can't wait to watch. You're insane. I literally am like, bye.
