That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around here. Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Lady Gang. I am Becca Tobin here with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight. Hello. Wow. Today's such a great day. I'm so excited about this episode.
Starting point is 00:00:44 This is really the dream. The dream is here. The dream is here. And in studio. In studio. I'm so excited. Me too. I'm really pumped up. This is great. In the studio. okay are you ready i'm ready it's time for good week yes it is bad week oh no i would like to begin okay all right so i got my real id because in california you have to get your real id or everywhere in the world soon i don't know how it works yeah it's like by 2024 i don't know why is it a pain in the ass no it wasn't bad at all you do it online and then you go to the dmb make an appointment and they retake your picture and you have to like show them your passport or whatever it's not a big deal at all but i'm there and i'm like waiting in line for my time and
Starting point is 00:01:27 they're like okay c17 so i go up to c17 but the person in front of me has not quite left the window yet okay usually they don't call you up until the window's clear right so he i could tell he was a hanger on her and i could tell he really liked to chat the guy this man is at the dmv telling this sweet dmv worker man that he's like he was basically like gloating about drunk driving at the DMV he was like he was like yeah man you know like cars can be so stressful what I like to do is like just pop a bottle of Jack in the middle of the chair and then the guy and he's like but I don't drink it when I'm driving you know what I mean I would never do that and I was like you for sure do that like for sure it was so crazy and the guy was like yeah yeah and he's like trying to be
Starting point is 00:02:11 nice anyway I just thought like if you're gonna gloat about like broing down with like the Jack daniels i don't think the dmv is the spot it's just dmv in los angeles is a shady shady operation i mean i think they're all pretty shady i don't think so what austin doesn't have like i will never forget in in la like the things i witnessed waiting for them to call my number it's very wild yeah the woman who still had her sandals on that you were that you are given in prison oh okay yeah I was like, oh, those are interesting. They say like LA, blah, blah, blah. Like I forget what the wording was.
Starting point is 00:02:48 And the friend who I was with was like, those are from prison. Oh, my God. Wow. Well, they also made me take a new photo, which I was very unhappy about because I love my driver's license photo. I have a little bob and I look so chic and fabulous. And I was like, no, no, no, I'll stay 25 forever. But no, I'm going to have a new photo.
Starting point is 00:03:06 So I hate that. I was so hung over in my last license pic that I'm ready to take a new one. Yeah, I look pretty hideous. Okay. Here's my good week. I have to read it because it's a quote. I'm so excited about this, you guys. I found something very beautiful to share with you.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Okay. So there's something called glimmers. Have you heard of this? No. Okay. We can still make. Sounds like a Taylor Swift kind of thing. We can still make the whole place glimmer.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Coined by a psychotherapist, Deb Dana, glimmers are the opposite of triggers, a.k.a. tiny micro moments of joy. These could be getting petting a puppy, sitting under the sun, enjoying a cup of coffee. Experts say they're pretty crucial to calming down your central nervous system. If you're having trouble finding glimmers, just remember they're all around us, look different for everyone, and can appear anytime, anywhere. So instead of being like, you know, like trigger warning, I'm going to start being like glimmer warning. This is going to really bring you up. This is going to brighten your day. We're going to talk about puns.
Starting point is 00:04:07 This whole episode is a glimmer warning. This is a glimmer warning. Oh, my God. That's so true. Glimmer warning. If you don't want to be happy, don't listen to Ronald. If you have a dead heart and a dead soul, don't listen. I do love that.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I'll go next. So I've been recently posting about my outfits on Instagram. Your wedding dresses? No, not wedding dresses. My everyday outfits, which are literally leggings or sweats. Because our social team's like, you got to get more link clicks. So I'm like, I'm posting link clicks of my outfits, which are literally leggings or sweatshirts. That's all I wear if I'm not dressed up.
Starting point is 00:04:40 The link clicks are up and they're very up on a specific post that I had made and my shares and stuff like that. And I go to look at it and I look at the replies and I was in a pair of bright green leggings, bike shorts. I know exactly what this is. Little sports bra. Camel toe. Period. The most insane camel toe. How did you not?
Starting point is 00:05:01 I thought there was no way you didn't see your camel toe. Well, I did almost immediately. But then I also noticed that the engagement was through the roof. You are a soulless person. This is not a glimmer. I did not harm anybody. I mean, maybe visually, but like, but probably also glimmered a lot of guys. You're the opposite of Ronald right now.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Okay. He has limits. You're going to hear about them. Jack knows no bounds when it comes to engagement on social media. No, and it's true. You're getting to be this level of Kelty Knight. No, I'm not. I don't emotionally share anything.
Starting point is 00:05:37 To not take a teal camel toe off the internet and not be horrified and want it to go away forever and to leave it up, that is Kelty's status. Yeah, and also, you know what else? This is small vagina privilege because you have such a small, petite, non-floppy vagina that you just wear leggings on Instagram every day. You don't have to even think about your camel toe. How dare your vagina labia offend anyone? It's all I think about. I think about it day and night. And so welcome to the world.
Starting point is 00:06:10 You're getting old. Your vagina is getting bigger. I was once like you. I used to have a tiny, pristine, tight vag too. Did you? I not, not in my 14 year old. Anyway. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:20 What else is going on? Let me see. That was not a glimmer. That was the opposite of a glimmer. Well, that was supposed to be my good week, but I guess it's bad. I didn't hear Chris's reaction. My bad week is, um, Jared, this is from a couple of weeks ago when Jared and I were flying home from london we went to the airport early because our flight was at like 4 p.m we're
Starting point is 00:06:39 like what are we gonna do we stayed at an airport hotel so we're like let's go early we're gonna have lunch at wagamama it's one of my favorite places it's like an asian it's basically like they're pf changs okay so we're eating at wagamama and my bad week was the guy next to me they have those like soy sauces that everybody uses like there's a chili sauce soy sauce the guy goes to smell the chili oil sauce no and puts it in his nose in his nose that it touches the inside of his nose and i think we really need to stop using communal sauces zach will not touch a communal anything it's smart he will not use a communal ketchup a communal and like a water dispenser is his worst nightmare because he once saw a kid pick a booger and put it at the top of the water
Starting point is 00:07:23 dispenser see he will not touch it like this is a grown man doing something like this pepper like it's yeah yeah got the things that kids do with their little grimy sticky hands i it's we need to especially after covid did covid not teach us anything i know i'm communal thing why do we still have to use a qr code for a menu but i have to share ketchup bottle with the free world that's true stupid menus are paper germs don't exist on paper i think um i i like i'm even disgusted about my own yeah boogers like i was in my sauna i was in my own sauna the other day on my own towel and i'm in the sauna and i'm getting i have a big booger in my nose and i'm reading and i'm breathing in deeply and it's like going you know you know exactly what it is so i picked it and
Starting point is 00:08:11 then i was like well i don't want to get out of the sauna and let the heat escape so i just wiped it underneath the towel and i was like well this is my towel and it's honestly it's so gross it's the towels that we got at target for on our tour yeah okay and so it's bright pink i don't know whose that was but um anyway i only use them in my sauna and i'm the only one that goes in the sauna so i feel like i'm just gonna get my own boog again anyway that's so gross or you could wash it no i'm gonna wash it but like if the booger makes it to the wash i hate the way you say booger i can't believe that's how you say booger still booger it's a booger that's what she says i can't i hate the way you say booger booger booger is that a canadian thing or is
Starting point is 00:08:54 that just how you pronounce it i don't know every time she brings canada the canadians come for us and they're like that's not actually no no idiot idiot okay my good week is that ford is saying words now and it's really cute and he's obsessed ford hat i mean zach has this truck and he's obsessed with it and he like sits in it and he honks the horn whatever it's like a baby truck to sit in or it's a real truck it's his truck yeah he drives a pickup truck okay and so ford wants to go in the garage all the time he's like and i'm like you want to go in dada's truck let's go in dada's truck and one day he's like trying so hard he's like dada's and i know he's trying to get truck and i'm like truck truck and he's like dada's cock oh no so now all he talks about
Starting point is 00:09:40 he points to a door in our house to anyone and he's like dada's cock oh my god amazing that's a glimmer i'm having a glimmer that's so cute it's so good oh my god that does cock that does cuck my bad week oh my god you know i couldn't say oh no i couldn't say my l's till i was in third grade yeah i couldn't say ours i was thinking it was all my things okay of course that's because may and bill were like moving your raised me yeah they're like speaking to you all day and all night long my parents are like learn english by yourself in the corner we're gonna try to pay this mortgage best of luck idiot bye-bye okay my bad week is I have now three strikes and I'm out I have now dm'd three separate brands place hotels things of operation businesses
Starting point is 00:10:39 and back in the day I used to be like hey I'm thinking about getting this like hiking backpack for my husband for his birthday like can i post it and do like a trade for a free backpack or whatever i mean listen that's like sounds really measly but it was expensive yeah it's one of the ones that carries the kid like yeah and so i just thought like the amount of things we get sent to us i'm like surely i could probably be like yeah i can guarantee that i'll post this or whatever um and then i got a no uh they said they this to email like the pr person to like handle it or whatever so then i like shamelessly emailed the care person this is after i've also done this with a hotel yeah for just a discounted media rate yeah media rates are fine to ask for and they
Starting point is 00:11:26 were like sure maybe like gave me the run around and then they simply wrote back and they were like we're not doing it at this time oh i get that i mean i've been trying to hit up some hotels for honeymoon like 100 hotels yeah they're like no i can no longer get free things i can no longer solicit to get anything free ever so i'm back to being normal hello world it hurts full price only not a glimmer it's a trigger i don't know what i'm gonna supposed to do you're just gonna pay for that backpack i'm gonna ask ronald if you can have some of like do you remember when you used to get so much stuff and you'd break it into little boxes and give it to your friends you're like come over and get some skincare now you're gonna have to be like ronald can i have the backpack pretend
Starting point is 00:12:05 you're having a child. I need this backpack. Okay. When we come back, it's the best, the best. As you all know, I welcomed baby Ford into the world last year and I joined the mom gang. That's right. I'm very grateful to all my mom friends for sharing their tips with me, helping me learn so much about motherhood. And something else I learned from my mom friends is that one in two women over 20 experience bladder leaks. A lot of my pregnant friends are currently experiencing bladder leaks but you know what you don't have to be pregnant to experience bladder leaks because even though so many women are going through this most women use period pads to protect against bladder leaks but they aren't made for it so they don't work as well poise ultra thins are
Starting point is 00:12:47 specifically designed for bladder leaks and they keep you listen to this 10 times drier than the leading period pad poise ultra thins are designed for leaks to help keep you clean dry and fresh they offer with and without wings which helps them stay in place all day poise is here to make sure that moms can enjoy life without compromise. That's right, ladies. It takes poise. Learn more at poise.com. This episode of Lady Gang is brought to you

Starting point is 00:15:43 now back to the lady gang our guest today is someone that i have deemed america's boyfriend we all fell in love with him during his stint on the runaway hit amazon freebie series jury duty and then we fell more in love with him when we stalked his instagram to see who this cute man was and then we realized the love of his life is a corgi two-thirds of the lady gang really loved the show but we'll never tell you who please welcome to the lady gang ronald jack is my witness that this morning she picked me up from the airport and i said i am obsessed i gave it another shot when i knew you were coming on the reason that i really didn't not didn't like it in the beginning i had like
Starting point is 00:16:33 the permanent sweaty armpits of being nervous that you were gonna be a shithead and like because i know myself in that situation i'm a bad person yeah and i was like i don't want to see somebody's life get ruined because they don't know what they got into turns out you're you have a heart of gold yeah thank god but that's why i could get through it because i was so nervous it me in this position i would have ruined my life but i loved it so much you're so likable i mean this is all stuff you've already heard but like that you are america's boyfriend well thank you i'm flattered wait i want to just i don't even know what you have planned for the episode i i think what i'm most interested in is like the casting process of how they found you and like did you have to do
Starting point is 00:17:11 psycho like psychological evaluation did they try to dig up anything from your past like how do they find the perfectness that is you to include on the show solid question i will say so my interview process was very lengthy it was about a month and a half long and i don't mean that you know every day for eight hours a day but every day monday through friday at least an hour a day every day I had to do something whether that was take a phone call with somebody whether that was go talk to a therapist whether that was go get a physical checkup at a doctor's whether that was submit a self-tape and they were requesting x y and z like it was a very very lengthy process so yes they did do psych evaluations on me I did have to go through even physical assessments as
Starting point is 00:17:51 well too to make sure I didn't have like a heart attack on set was the way they pitched it to me they had to make sure I was healthy yeah so yeah it was very very in-depth absolutely but you went in thinking you were signing up for a documentary so this kind of made sense that you're like because obviously they're going to pay you to be on the documentary legal system is like so intense right probably like of course they have to do all this oh yeah well and i had never been on camera before too and so like the way they were selling it like hey we want to like the reason i had to talk to a therapist was i make sure i didn't harm myself or someone when i was on set right that made sense to me i had to get a physical because they i mean i have a heart attack on set that made sense to me
Starting point is 00:18:23 you know yeah so you know i didn't know anything about the industry so it did definitely make sense And to add to your point, the legal system, like, you know, you got to jump through some hoops there. Did they looking back, is there anything weird that you thought that they asked you that might have been? Now you're like, oh, no. Well, I thought about this a lot because this always comes up. How did I not recognize Kirk Fox? And so they I didn't recognize Kirk Fox. I'm just saying, did anyone in the room recognize?
Starting point is 00:18:49 Yeah. Thank you. They did a great job of making him look homeless. I thought they killed it. Yeah. so one of the things they would ask me um just you know and they posed it as hey this is just us getting to know you but it was a way to see if i had seen any things that the actors were in so they asked me specific questions do you pay for hulu do you pay for netflix hbo max um mecky
Starting point is 00:19:09 leaper's show sex out of a college girls it just came out on hbo max so when i told them no i don't pay for hbo max they said okay you know we're good on that box so they they asked these kind of specific questions to figure out if i would recognize the actors did they ask you if you liked comedy or like stand-up because since a lot of them i think were probably like in groundlings and stuff like that yeah like if you would have recognized them even from like ronald likes corgis he's like he's we're fine like they were probably like catching when they found you no i i told them that like the one thing i do watch is comedies and i think that's why they were asking about the specific things that i actually subscribe to because yeah a majority of them are comedians so
Starting point is 00:19:44 yeah have you since had real interaction with james marsden and you can confirm he's not a douchebag actor they're like besties i know i know it's really cute yes i i can confirm that like i will say like during the end like when i thought that's who james really was it literally did break my heart i was like man this guy sucks he's just a terrible person and so to see that that's not who he really is like that is such a sigh of relief because he's not a d-bag so i'm very happy to say that okay now it's time for my question um this is really important to me so thank you for being here. I have my entire house
Starting point is 00:20:19 done by solar, and I did notice that my solar panels are getting dirty, and I know this is your expertise. No, and I don't want this to just be about Hollywood. This is what you did beforehand. Why does it matter if they're dirty, and how dirty is too dirty for a solar panel? Whatever you've got is too dirty. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Whatever you've got is too dirty. Wait, do you live here in LA? Yeah. Whatever you've got is too dirty. I can tell you that right now. Are you serious? And then how do you clean them? If I don't have a Ronald, can I just hose it off? I mean, you can um but technically if you want to do it the proper way you don't really want to use the water here just because there's so much impurities in the water that ultimately it can like stick to your panels so typically you want to use deionized water or at the very least like a cleaning
Starting point is 00:20:58 solution you don't just want to just use your hose water we love a man who knows his stuff i love a man who knows his hose i'm so turned on the reason you want to do this as well too is because it's just going to benefit you it's going to get you more power anytime that you have any sort of blockage on their uv rays can't get through therefore they're producing less power so you're not getting the most bang for your buck it makes sense wow i didn't think i'd learn about that today nope tell us about the corgi oh man the light of my life um so meatball has existed for probably close to a decade in my head i knew that when i first saw corgis in college i was going to get one like i've had the name picked out literally since i was in college and it's
Starting point is 00:21:36 just been a matter of putting myself in a position where i could financially support them and also like I wasn't living essentially on the road I didn't always want to be away from him When did you get him? I'm sorry I'm crying Wait what? I'm sorry You planned for him for a decade? Pretty much I first saw Corgis when I was like 20 in college
Starting point is 00:21:56 You like the butts? Oh shit When they walk is the cutest thing I've ever seen What's it about a Corgi? You know who else liked Corgis? It was Queen Elizabeth and I feel like you couldn't be more different than Queen Elizabeth Oh man what's not to, like, they've got the adorable, cute little
Starting point is 00:22:12 fox face, the short, stubby legs, the hot dog body. They're always smiling. Like, their great demeanor. They're good with people and other dogs. Yeah. Oh, they're the best. Are you kidding? I'm gonna pitch you. So, you know how Chris Evans... Is it Chris Evans who's doing the Jinx dog food deal? You have to be the next Jinx
Starting point is 00:22:28 dog food guy. Yes. Oh, my God. Chris Evans, I know. We're talking to you guys right now, so... It's gonna be great. It's gonna happen. I love it. I bet your inbox is insane. there is not a brand because the brands are so screwed right now because every cool person in hollywood is a rapper and they're in a bikini talking about like i don't even want to say because this is such a pure episode you know but like normally i would on lady gig but you know
Starting point is 00:22:54 what i mean it's like oh we can't get her because she's a little you know and now ronald comes into our lives he's like oh my god you're do you have a team now did james help you with the team oh i definitely have a team here i didn't know if that was the show publicist like okay okay next question we'll take that out america doesn't need to know you have a publicist yeah no keep it yeah we can keep that i love sonja by the way i want to give her a special shout out she literally has taken it on herself to pretty much become my own personal publicist so bless her heart we're leaving that in there okay oh god okay um what are some of the biggest differences that you've noticed in the way that you're treated as a normie in the world and as a star like what are the
Starting point is 00:23:39 biggest things because people are like when i'm a star i'll have a chef and a private like but you this has really happened to you you were a normie now you're a star what are the biggest things that are different i have a first question to ask that can go into that because it's like you never wanted to be a like you exactly stumbled into this position where unlike kelty that like her biggest goal in life hungry for my whole life like this is just like what she lives for you were just living your life and this just happened to you so like how does that feel just as a baseline and then i guess like the difference of how you're being treated well to be honest with you i still haven't fully wrapped my head around this like this it almost feels
Starting point is 00:24:16 gross saying that i'm a celebrity now like it just that just feels weird still coming out of my mouth like i i really haven't even fully wrapped my head around that so it's just it's a different feeling but i will say really the only differences so far um because i've been so busy and just doing stuff i haven't really had time to appreciate it but really the only differences are people just kind of like noticing me which is weird like it's weird just like walking my dog down the road and having people do a double take and just like oh my god ronald like that's like that's probably the biggest difference i'm just people don't have never recognized me that's kind of why i moved to san diego i'm not from the area nobody knew me i was just another face in the
Starting point is 00:24:52 crowd so to now be a recognizable face in the crowd it's definitely different you're getting sent all kinds of free shit though yes i am and i got no complaints on that he loves the swag never gets old um i think one of the things that uh our lady gang i told the community that you were coming on and and everyone just wanted to know like what were you like growing up and like what was this influence on you because you're very trusting you're very salt of the earth you're polite you have this generally goodness to you you're very accepting of others like all those wackadoodles you were like no it's fine chair pants like you're weird you pooped in my bathroom like whatever you were not like judgment scene was like the most beautiful thing
Starting point is 00:25:35 i've ever watched on television no that should get the emmy like that should be the reason why their show gets the emmy yeah so like what is your family like and who raised you and like were you like were you that kind of kid that was like just really well liked in school and like really friendly or like what's your how did you become so good i know i have a son i need to know this yeah so i i will say if there were ever to be a poster child for change i feel like i could be that person a little bit yeah like if we're gonna yeah in high school in college absolutely i was i lived a much more selfish lifestyle i acted a lot more out of my own self-interest you know it's like i've always been sympathetic and empathetic towards others but you know i didn't
Starting point is 00:26:16 really care I guess is probably the best way I could put it when I was younger just because I was just it was it was more living for me but if anything I feel like that's the reason I am the way I am today is because once I started living for other people and doing things to help out other people it was just a better feeling so I had to go through that stage in my life where I was only living for me so that I could have something to compare it to so now I know that this is actually the way I want to live but yeah when I was younger I mean even five years ago like I was a pretty different person you know i was still figuring me out did something like was there an event in your life that kind of made the switch or is it just like getting older and maturing and
Starting point is 00:26:52 just meatball i'd like to say it was meatball but no it literally was growing up yeah just getting older like something happened when i turned like i think i was like 25 i think i just grew up something clicked where i just mentally was just like okay now it's time to start i don't because i was living like a child even after college i was still living like i was in college you know And so I just, I think I just grew up one day. You know why? Because you're tall. No, no.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Tall guys. Get away with everything. Get away with, yeah. Everything. Tall guys are the worst. And I had, I had a feeling, the reason I was excited about this question, Ronald, is because I had a feeling that you were a former, and I want to say like a boy, I guess. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:30 I don't know if you just can. What teen early twenties guy isn't? I know. That's what I'm saying. But here's what I knew when I was watching the show is when the guy is trying to have sex with the girl or the girl's trying to have sex with him and ronald's like no he's trying to sleep with you dude oh yeah he knows he can pick up the cue yeah he he knew the cues so he no dummy and i was like he's been to a college party and like hooked up in the hot tub do you know what
Starting point is 00:27:53 i mean like there's just a vibe about you and i was like no no no this man has a past in foyery so a former f boy turned into america's sweetheart wow there you go the poster child for change like I said, I will take that role, you know? And I mean, that's why I was so big on Todd, though. Like, the whole Bugs Life thing, you know? It's like, even though he's going through a time in his life where maybe he's still trying to figure himself out, like, you still have to be happy with who you are, you know? At some level.
Starting point is 00:28:22 I love that so much. Are famous people trying to date you? Probably, yeah. Wait, what's the, who is the craziest person that slid into your DMs? Even as a friend. Other than me, of course. Or the most exciting. so the craziest probably
Starting point is 00:28:38 Beyonce are you kidding no way well it was Ben Schwartz but I feel like he just got one up recently the UFC fighter Sugar Sean O'Malley sent me a message which I thought was amazing because I followed him for a while I think he's so fun to watch I think he's so funny
Starting point is 00:28:54 so to have him just hit me up randomly I was like wow that's crazy that's amazing what about any ladies what about ladies yes there have been a few what's funny too though is that I need to like set my filters on instagram but like i've literally have thousands of messages that haven't even gotten to like um one simple wish actually the charitable organization reached out to me on like may 8th
Starting point is 00:29:15 got completely buried like and i just recently got another message from them and i'm glad they sent me another one but like i'm literally getting stuff that i know i'm overlooking ronald needs an assistant everyone i need an assistant just a straight up instagram dm what about the ladies wow kelty do you want to know who your competition is no i just like is there okay answer me this is there anyone that you have had a poster of or had a celebrity crush on in a movie that has now dm'd you oh no because hallie berry i don't know what she's doing oh have you seen her boyfriend or fiance he's the probably the only person in america that could one-up ronald he's so hot who is he she's like that personal trainer that's so hot yeah
Starting point is 00:29:58 it's gorgeous um okay do you have any skeletons in your closet you don't tell us what they are That you're scared of coming out? Oh, my God. That's the dumbest question, obviously. Scared of? No, not at all. Like, I know. What about your exes?
Starting point is 00:30:11 Have they come out and done, like, an Us Weekly exclusive yet? No. Wow. I got nothing to hide. It doesn't mean my life's an open book, but if it's services, it is what it is, you know? How's your family reacting to all this? Blown away. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Are they loving it? Nobody can believe it. Oh, yeah, absolutely. But it's more of, like, because, so I come from such a small place, and I never was the kid who was like oh i'm gonna be on tv or i'm gonna be a famous actor or anything like that and so like this is out of left field for absolutely everyone especially knowing that the only thing i told people was the lie that i was initially told that i was going to participate in this documentary it was going to be about jury duty in the judicial process and that it was
Starting point is 00:30:51 basically just going to be informational so nobody thought anything was going to come from it and so now seeing what it is you know knowing what they knew yeah um yeah it's nobody can believe it if you could go back in time would you have done this 10 out of 10 would do this again absolutely there wasn't even a moment when it all was revealed where like like i just imagine i'd be like what did i just do like what did i just say how did i act with these people like going and replaying everything from that different lens you were fine absolutely so this is something i want people to know if this would have never gone viral if a thousand people would have seen it if i would have never gotten paid this whole thing was worth it for me simply from the relationships that i
Starting point is 00:31:33 gotta make like what people don't realize is that i spent so much time with these people almost literally a month's worth of time you guys see four hours worth of content you know i spent almost four weeks with these people all the stories they told me about themselves they were all real all of these small details they said were real like maybe they changed the name of a person or a location to make it fit into their story but like these backstories were really who they were and everybody made sure on the day of the reveal to let me know like hey all of this was fake but everything that we talked about like that was real and so like that made all of it worth it to me that's cool and it's probably why it worked yeah because it was very real connections just sort of like you
Starting point is 00:32:11 know yeah speaking of a real connection have you been targeted like i have uh for the chair pants on oh i'm sorry on instagram ads there is a real chair yes yes and it takes three weeks to get i I tried to order them to have them here to do this interview in a chair pant. I ordered a Jorf shirt and then I thought it would be problematic because I know it doesn't actually mean what they said it meant in the show. But then you're connecting yourself. But then, yes. You don't want that on the internet.
Starting point is 00:32:37 I got nervous. Has anyone sent you a chair pant? Have you been targeted on Instagram? Absolutely. And you know what's funny too? Wait, they sent them to you? Oh, not sent them. No, no.
Starting point is 00:32:45 Just targeted. No. God, no. No, I'm not giving out my address to people. Okay. No, but what's funny was that chair pants, I don't know if you guys know this, but I this or if a majority of people know is chair pants are not new before todd even showed me these i had seen these before like on like my linkedin on like it was like gi gadgets or
Starting point is 00:33:03 engineering or something like these are not new these have existed so the ones that i saw of his were very janky but homemade diy i couldn't tell todd he's like hey not only have i seen these before but i've seen a better version that are retractable you know like yeah i couldn't tell him that but yeah these are not this is not a new thing i was gonna ask because that was i think one of the most obnoxious things that happened on the show that i would feel like would make somebody a little bit curious as to what's going on but i know that there are other moments that they like the producers were like maybe he's like catching on let's make like five hours of boring jury duty like nothing happens like what do you remember any specific moments for you that you're kind of
Starting point is 00:33:41 questioning what was going on oh yeah i mean so they did that pretty much for everything so for the chair pants incident too like after he took him off literally the rest of the day the next you know four or five hours it was completely boring i will say though for that chair pants i do remember feeling bad and the reason that i wasn't suspicious about the chair pants was because i literally had just showed todd a bug's life movie and so they edited this out in my video confessional that i did like the reason i made the video confessional i told him about a bug's life was because i felt responsible for todd bringing those in there because it was the day after i showed him in my head i'm thinking okay i just built up this guy's self-esteem so now he's
Starting point is 00:34:20 a little too confident so now he thinks this is the time and place to you know bring these out exactly so i i truly felt bad because i felt responsible because i was like oh man i just tried to up his self-esteem and it worked too much oh my god i love that so much okay um i have a question for you i heard a crazy ass rumor that they actually filmed with three ronalds like you plus two other like main guys and then whichever one turned out the best is who they kept is that true oh if that's true i don't know anything about it um that would be i guess i'm honored yeah um yeah you're the best ronald i don't know i don't know i i haven't heard of that you did what if we found out in like six months that ronald's an actor oh my god it's also a part
Starting point is 00:35:01 it's like he's doing such a good job no that would screw me up way too much he's like i'm assigned to the james marston agency and this is how james thought he was gonna break the next um what what's like i know everyone's asking you what's next and i probably would assume that you haven't had even time to think about it but it's like i see you doing ads and i see you doing events and things like that but like you can't go back to solar panels like that's not maybe it will like a lot of people do go back to their regular jobs after a few years in hollywood but like now are you doing acting classes would you host a radio show like what is the next thing that you think could be a good fit for you if you want to stay in hollywood so i did officially leave my
Starting point is 00:35:41 contracting position a little over a month ago. I can always go back to it if I need be. I don't want to. So I am trying to stay in the entertainment industry. But for now, I'm living in the unscripted world. So I am in talks with production companies right now. We are figuring things out, you know, shows that I could potentially do or be a part of or host, whatever it may be. But it's going to be something that's going to be authentic to me. So what you guys saw portrayed on jury duty, I'm not going to do something that's going to be the exact opposite of that. You know, like, if I stay in reality tv it's not going to be like a big brother type thing because it's just yeah it's dirty exactly it's not going to be in that realm exactly i feel like we need to create something around you
Starting point is 00:36:18 because i would be disappointed if you were like the bachelor or something don't be the bachelor i i will not so there are three things that you will never see me on okay it's going to be dancing with the stars damn it the mass singer okay and bachelor i will not why are those you know i respect this because some people would come in here. I would die to be on Dancing with the Stars. One of these at this table would do any of those. She's been campaigning for Dancing with the Stars for like 10 years. So you have boundaries
Starting point is 00:36:44 and limits and I appreciate it. I do. Well, you don't seem like a song and dance type of a guy, so maybe that's part of it. I'm not a performer, you know. Maybe years down the road, maybe I'll take an acting class. I don't know, but that's not who I am currently. I would love to see you judge a talent show. Like, I would love
Starting point is 00:37:01 to see you do like America's Got Talent or something like on a panel like i would love to see you be a panelist because you'd be like the paul abdul where you'd be like everyone's amazing everyone's talented i'm gonna make you feel great but like also you have that normie ability to be like is this really impressive because you're not like a nepo baby you haven't grown up in hollywood so it's like is your firewalking incredible firewalking that's true i mean i'm not opposed to it i can be pretty judgmental so oh i love it okay i haven't seen it i have i have one more question everyone is wondering your relationship status are you keeping that close to the vest everybody wants to know um everybody wants to
Starting point is 00:37:34 know obviously well no the last time i heard you talk about it you said you're having a good time and i couldn't decipher if that meant with your girlfriend or with many women it's a great way to it's pretty genius no so i will say like this so the reason i'm keeping it vague is because i didn't sign up for any of this obviously and so the people closest in my life also did not sign up for this. So I'm not trying to expose them to any sort of attention that they don't want. That being said, I am not currently in the market for other suitors.
Starting point is 00:38:03 There you go. Good answer. Wow, that's a really nice answer. Yeah. That is a really nice answer. Thank you. Wow. Not in the market for other suitors. Well, bye. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Lady Gang. I'm sorry for you, but every Lady Gang are just like threw their computer against the wall.

Starting point is 00:41:17 But I can't know what it is We'll help you Well the first one was Doja Cat I already saw that This is not going to go well This is Ronald's test To see if he is really ready for Hollywood Okay are you ready?
Starting point is 00:41:33 Tell me if it's upside down It is upside down And ripped in half, it looks like. But you can probably figure out what the rest of that is. Yeah, but I don't know how to give hints about this. I mean, she's an actress. She dated Justin Bieber. Selena Gomez.
Starting point is 00:41:47 See, you're better than you think. Becca. Me? Okay, hold on. Is this the right way? Yep. Yeah. Ooh, wrecking ball.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Miley Cyrus. Nailed it. You're right. Oh, man. Musician, she's a singer. Whoa, man. I know I'm blanking on a song. No.
Starting point is 00:42:04 Come on. Think about what she sings. I know. I can, but I can't. Is she young? Is she old? Ugh, that's a... You don't ever ask a woman her age.
Starting point is 00:42:13 She's young, obviously. So young. Fresh out of the womb. Oh, man. Pass. I can't do it. Okay. Alicia Keys.
Starting point is 00:42:21 I know. Okay. Oh. Come on, Ronald. This is for Hollywood. I know. You're trying to win an Emmy, baby. You know the song.
Starting point is 00:42:29 You know the song. I know. You're trying to win an Emmy. I'm thinking of it. It's on the interview, and they sing it. Oh, God. No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:34 More describing factors. I know, I'm thinking. It's a man, it's a woman, it's a person. What is that? I don't know what that is either. Okay. Okay. It's a basketball player.
Starting point is 00:42:45 No, she's also a musician too. She's very young, obviously. Very young. Yeah, they're all young. I can think of so many of her songs, but I can't think of them. This is adorably terrible. It's so bad. He started off so well.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I started off so well. Pass? Yeah, pass. Katy Perry. I can't. It's Katy Perry. I know, trust me. There's so many things I should say.
Starting point is 00:43:02 You guys, I was trying to do girls kissing. That's so bad. That is not Chris's sign language for more. Are you ready? Yeah. Okay. One, two, three. Oh.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Oh, man. Old school musician. No. I hate this game so much. Why are there so many music people? I don't know. Come on. Man, woman?
Starting point is 00:43:21 He's a man. He does a bunch of songs with Chris Brown back in the day. Usher. Yeah. There you go. Oh, good. Okay. Upside down.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Upside down. Okay. Her hips don't lie. Oh, Shakira. Yeah. Good job. Oh man he's got so many things too And I should not be blanking on him
Starting point is 00:43:37 Come on Ronald His last name is a planet There you go Uranus Mars Bruno Mars Lowane brought him on He's the biggest guy
Starting point is 00:43:56 Biggest singer like outside of Ed Sheeran What is his name I like how you used Ed Sheeran little john and ed sheeran no um is the clue i described no how would i describe his little wayne brought him on to young money that's how he got his start he was wow he knows nothing about nothing i know he was the handicapped actor in you'll know once you say his name i know no canadian tv drake drake yeah what was the tv you're helping that's what it was um okay hold on i just want to also just mention that uh jury duty is up for an emmy or they're trying to get
Starting point is 00:44:31 Nominated for an Emmy, and so if you go to the Emmys, you're going to want to really study up. Okay, Becca, I love this. Oh, we already said his name. He's bigger than Drake. Is that Sharon? Upside down. Upside down.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Oh, man, he's always tired. He's got a tattoo on his face. Oh, Post Malone? Oh, can I use the words? I want to say you are schwifty, but I don't know if that counts. I mean, is it Taylor Swift? Are you a swifty? I am not.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Swiftie would count. You're not either. Thank God. He's in his fame era. His fame era? That's you. Oh, I thought you were talking about him. I was like, oh, I think he's been famous for a while.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Him and Dr. Dre brought him on. He's a rapper. Ronald knows a lot about rap. Eminem. Ronald knows a lot about rap. I think we know his upside down. Upside down. Oh, I don't know how to describe that to you.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Three bros. I can't say the name. Three bros? three siblings Becca do a couple more speed round yeah I want one too dated Selena Gomez
Starting point is 00:45:39 Justin Bieber you don't have a single non-musician he's not going to the Grammys he's going to the Emmys so how would I describe her when she first came on she wore a lot of eccentric stuff Lady Gaga? I'm shocked you got that
Starting point is 00:45:56 Lil Wayne also brought her Yeah, why are all these singers? You guys, none of these are... I'll tell you why after. I'll tell you why after. Okay. Lil Wayne brought her on. She's singing...
Starting point is 00:46:06 What is her big one? Damn it. Ronald. I know. I don't know how to describe this to you. You're not going to the Grammys. I'm not going to the Grammys. You're passing?
Starting point is 00:46:16 You might, though. I'm going to pass. You probably will. Oh, I know. Your turn. Wait, we already did that. Yep. Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Last one for Becca. Final. Ooh. Another musician. no you can't help no helping how would you describe this man he has a beautiful voice um josh groban oh the one that got away from me longer brown longer brown hair um josh groban i gotta pass i don't know okay one more oh good one you're probably gonna be on that show have you been on that show already
Starting point is 00:46:57 have you been on the show oh is she a judge no she's got a show i gotta pass i don't know i don't know i don't know how to describe that when he says that i don't know how to describe that is kelly clark is she a judge on the mass singer no she's her own show the kelly clarkson show kelly clark's an american idol she won the first american idol ever i don't know what did you do when you were young i don't know how to describe that one of you guys gotta understand one of the reasons i was an ideal candidate is because i'm not big on pop culture anything but you're right except for rap i think we're gonna end with kelly clarkson we had leso we're gonna okay so the reason that this is all musicians
Starting point is 00:47:43 is actually this is caitlin bristow's game and when i was on her podcast she played it with me for my super fan show and i was like i'm gonna steal those and do them with ronald and so i stole them but i forgot they're all musicians ronald um you i don't know how to describe that i don't know how to describe that the fact that he couldn't come up with one katie perry song i know i'm blowing him kisses you know what you're everything you want we wanted you to be thank you yeah i'm glad i could live up to the hype you really did i love this i'm very excited to see what you do next and i'll tell you this everyone in hollywood is shitty except us so I can tell.
