Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, the following podcast is a Lady Gang Network and Podcast One production, which means it's going to be awesome. Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around here.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to the Lady Gang. I'm Becca Tobin, you're with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight. i just feel good like you guys you do we're back on tv we're back we're doing we're doing it we're back we'd be back people i'm tired again i know my house your house is ours now okay are you ready we're ready for good week yes it is bad week oh no all right who wants to go i'll go okay okay my good week
Starting point is 00:00:53 I always love a good feud and I really loved Firefest so there's a Firefest documentary Fry?
Starting point is 00:01:02 I thought it was the Fry of Fire FYI oh yeah it was like Fire if it was the Fryfest they would have gotten sued
Starting point is 00:01:09 for something else from Fry so I love when Firefest was happening it was like the best thing that's ever happened to the internet
Starting point is 00:01:16 so Netflix was making a Firefest documentary oh yeah I saw this but then right before it comes out hulu drops a documentary without telling anybody that they were working on it the thunder they were working on it the whole time i would do the same thing we should do that to one for one to ourselves with some of the other projects what if we started competing with lady gang tv like we like get a guest for lady gang tv we call it the ladies and then we just have like a different show but we make all the money from it yeah cool we should
Starting point is 00:01:48 actually start well no no not an idea let's not follow through on that okay anyways i loved it did you watch them the documentaries i haven't watched the netflix one only the hulu one and it was amazing i'm gonna put it on my to-do list i need to watch two of anything like that's the problem well i don't know about the netflix one but the dude billy mcfarland the guy that started in jail that's in jail he was on that he interviewed for it which shows how big of a narcissist he is yeah because they do he was in his own documentary about his failed thing yeah He probably needed the money for his legal fees. I bet they paid him.
Starting point is 00:02:20 But they made him look like such an idiot. Well, he's clearly an idiot. I don't think they need to make him into anything. I know, but, like, it's just such narcissism. Anyways, he's in jail. The documentary's amazing. Okay. Highly recommend.
Starting point is 00:02:32 My bad week. So, I'm sick right now. Uh-huh. It started when I woke up at 4 a.m. this morning with, like, a nostril clogged. You know, that's, like, the worst feeling in the entire world. One clogged nostril. Just even saying it is, like, disgusting. One nostril clogged.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Nostril's a bad word. so I wake up and I'm like nostril is a bad word I'm like god damn it I'm like maybe I'm not sick I don't know but I'm awake now so I woke up at four
Starting point is 00:02:54 I'm like I'm gonna drink some coffee since I'm awake drink a shit ton of coffee then my sickness starts to hit me so I'm like oh shit I need to take medicine no I haven't eaten or drank any water
Starting point is 00:03:06 so I take a bunch of medicine like zinc no all this shit immediately get super f***ing nauseous don't barf it's a vitamin nosh then I'm like
Starting point is 00:03:14 I need to go get food because I'm so nauseous So I get a bagel and eat it super fast. Then I get even more like I'm doing every single thing that's like terrible to do. Then I'm like, I'm really actually sick. So I take a day cool. I get stuck in my esophagus. You know how things get stuck in my esophagus.
Starting point is 00:03:29 I got that big fruity esophagus. Then somehow this gives me like an insane gas bubble in my chest. And I talked like a frog for like three hours today that I almost texted you guys being like, I can't podcast today because I was talking like this. No. For three hours. I went to go to an appointment, and I said hi to the girl, and I'm like, oh, God, something's in my throat. It didn't leave for hours. Through the whole meeting?
Starting point is 00:03:54 Through the whole meeting. This is awkward for you. It was just, like, an unfortunate events all day, and I'm still nauseous as shit, and I'm still sick. But, you know, it's been a good day. Great. That was a big morning. That was a good morning. Big morning.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Becca? Starting at 4 a.m. Okay, so my bad week is I can never remember a password to anything. never guys what is the solution here every single website has a different rule one capital letter i don't need numbers oh and now a character like if if i could just use the same password for everything then you would get hacked bingo like i've been before i feel like there i do know the secret you do you do writing it down on your phone no i started doing that and then it's like i can't keep up you can keep up i can't you choose not to keep no i can't possibly you
Starting point is 00:04:47 need a new what's your secret so i put it in my address book so in my address book it's like becca becky like brother you know and then it's like amazon well in the alphabetic order but i'm like delta and i'll like have my delta frequent flyer number and then the password and then it's like amazon and then it's like my banks and whatever so i just look up like city card and Or you can also do it in your notepad. I do it in my notepad. But then you lose track. But there's so many notes, and then I'm like, is this the most updated one?
Starting point is 00:05:19 Or did it just reappear from the cloud? No, but this is what makes it so exciting is that when you do it, like, you know what I mean? Like, this is our credit card I was just using, and, like, it has the information, so you can just, like. Oh, so if somebody stole your phone, they could literally get into your whole life? Yeah, but then, A, no one's going to steal my phone. Okay. B, like, look at this, Lady Gang PayPal. The Face ID thing is even worse.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Lady Gang email. And then you just edit. All right. That's not a terrible idea. Take it from me. I know. K-type. I'm K-type.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I'm doing it. Thank you. No, it is kind of messed up that we still – that's still a problem. Out of all the things that Apple has done, they can't figure that out in a better way. Well, soon we're going to have the touch screen. Soon we're going to have little bits in our wrists sort of scan in. That would be great. What's your good week?
Starting point is 00:06:05 My good week is that I live in the tiniest home in America. No, you don't. No, we definitely do not. It's not a tiny... But it's... You don't live in a tiny house. It's small. You do live in the...
Starting point is 00:06:16 It's a bungalow. Grandma's house from Little Red Riding Hood. I don't even know that reference. Remember when the two kids... What are their names? Hansel and Gretel? And they go to Grandma's house and then they... Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:29 And then they get put in the fire? Remember? Yeah, but, like, why? That's Hansel and Gretel's small house? I just feel like your house... I feel like your house is just kind of, like... English storybook? Like, yeah, like, I'm a little fairy tale house.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Yeah, it's called an English storybook is this type of house. That's a good title for that house. Hansel and Gretel, I guess. So I have a smaller home, and it was born. It was built in 1936. It was birthed in 1936 when people didn't have a lot of clothing, apparently. Yeah. You have a closet issue.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I have a huge closet issue. I do, too. It's been killing me. Listen, I get it. first world problems whatever i'm just here to i'm this is my safe place i started to lose my mind recently where i'm like we gotta move we gotta move there's not one more place i can put something we figured out a solution we actually looked at our house looked at the floor plan and we were able yeah to nail down a way to turn a space into another closet what space so when you
Starting point is 00:07:34 walk up our stairs we have built-ins we have built-ins all over our house and everyone's like don't get rid of the built-ins i'm like there's 700 you have so many yeah a lot so when you walk up the stairs there's this really deep whole wall of built-ins it's all decorative now guess what it's going away yeah that's smart but here's i do have advice you're not going to do a slidey door right why well a slidey door just really annoys me because you can never see everything at one time like i would rather you have an accordion door okay it just we're looking at like yeah because there's room you can pull out yeah don't do a full door but do like a double yeah it just has to be pretty that's the only thing is we're trying to find stuff that's like
Starting point is 00:08:13 at least decorative enough like because it's what you see when you walk up the stairs yeah but then you're into the beautiful living room and who cares i know but i guys this has been really it's a hard thing i'm really well good luck with your closets new closet so excited for you i'm officially 33. Yes, you are. We'll build some closets. Okay, good week for me. I had an adult girl sleepover. And it's been a long time since I had an adult sleepover.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I don't think anybody does. My girlfriend Christina. Oh, in New York, right? I went to her house in New York. Oh, so you stayed with her. Yeah, but it's a sleepover. I mean, I guess. Like, we ordered food in. Then when Jack sleeps at your house before Lady Gang TV every day, that's also a sleepover. I think she probably counts as a sleepover. But that's not for the
Starting point is 00:08:52 parent. But you don't hang out with her. Right, we go to each other's room. She watches Netflix and I go read and we don't talk but which is so insane but no it was like the adult it was an adult sleepover with the purpose of happiness like it wasn't a work thing it wasn't like oh we have to get up early in the morning it was like let's get our sweatpants on we'll put the baby to bed we'll order chinese food we'll sit up at the table and like chat until two in the morning and then like we'll go to sleep and in the morning we'll make pancakes like it was like a real like girl's day and i just forgot how nice it was to like just sit and talk to like one of your best friends unobstructed not like oh
Starting point is 00:09:25 god i gotta drive home at the end and valet like into sleep you can talk as long as you want to sleep you can talk i can't picture you talking first to somebody just because till 2 a.m i know it takes a special friend work meeting it takes a special friend i know and it was wonderful i loved it okay bad week healthy bad week you know i live at the bottom of a large hill that jack likes to speed around oh my god so there's just been like odd things i heard about a murder on your street a murder no or in your neighborhood i'm sure oh seems like the kind of place people would get murdered what like in the not to bring this up no that's not a house at a house yeah it's probably my house well no one's dead at your house oh it just happened like recent oh like a
Starting point is 00:10:06 home invasion yeah i believe it because one time a couple months ago this probably a couple months ago yep there was like a night when chris was out of town and the helicopters were like circling like three helicopters at one time lights on in your backyard not in my backyard but like two steps up on the hill two streets up anyway okay that's not what it is so there just seems to be like a large amount of like things flopping around in the neighborhood what do you mean like like there's just stuff like there's just like garbage and stuff and like sometimes i just i i don't know how people get their garbage like to my garbage can but i'm at the bottom of this hill like you'd have to walk back anyway so one of those you know those electric scooters that
Starting point is 00:10:47 are everywhere that you have the app birds there was worst on my driveway this week a bird scooter with all the app stuff ripped off it so just like a black scooter but they'd clearly like taken the battery and taken that gps off it and was just sitting there so then i put it out by the garbage cans and i was like oh the garbage people take this they refuse to take it so there's a goddamn scooter in my driveway and i don't know what to do throw it into the park behind you that's actually a really smart idea just chuck it off we actually
Starting point is 00:11:15 you did something no you threw something we have a lot an empty lot next door yeah you threw a lot of things in there
Starting point is 00:11:22 that has recently been purchased which is like the bane of our existence because people are going to be building a freaking home next to us now but up until this point we took anything we didn't want and threw it into the lot that's so nice
Starting point is 00:11:34 it's amazing and now like Zach and I are just stumped we don't know what to do with our things what are you going to do with your oversized trash okay
Starting point is 00:11:40 what are we going to do with our old mattress now yeah Yeah, just chuck it next door. Well, on that note, we're going to have an adult sleepover with some sisters right now. Let's do it. Now back to the Lady Gang. Our guests today are actress Bailey Madison, who you probably know from my entire life at Entertainment Tonight and E.T.
Starting point is 00:11:57 Also from the Fosters or her show, Good Witch. And her sister, Caitlin Villasuso. Hey. Two sisters with a 13-year age gap navigating the ups and downs of life together. And they now have a new podcast where they open up their lives by sharing personal stories and lessons learned and also bring on loved ones and thought leaders and some of their most treasured friends in the entertainment industry because they're stars. They can actually get real celebrities on their show because they're real celebrities. The sisters take calls from listeners who seek positive and realistic advice on everyday dilemmas. So this is perfect for us, but they're probably going to be nicer to you than we are.
Starting point is 00:12:34 And we actually have some everyday dilemmas. So we thought it would be great to invite them here to fix our lives before we fix yours in the Ask the Lady Gang section. Please welcome to the Lady Gang, Caitlin and Bailey. This is the coolest Lady Gang I've ever had. Oh, my God. That was amazing. I always wanted a Lady Gang. We're, like, actually part of the gang now, right?
Starting point is 00:12:50 I know. I'm very excited about your podcast. So, first of all, I want to tell everyone. Can I say something? Come in. Totally cut off. Totally. Just steamrolled.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Okay. I do love you guys, but I love somebody else a lot more. It's your mother. Yeah. She's pretty great, right? Your mom. Mama Madison. When we did a We Day together.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Yes. And I was like, ready for your mom to be cray-cray because you're a child actress. Yeah. And I'm like, those moms are scary. They are. And she's the most normal person. Yeah. And I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:13:20 I know. Tell me why you're so normal. And that is. We've been really, we're really blessed. Just in terms of our family. Like, there's so much love. But she is. She's been there since day one.
Starting point is 00:13:29 It's crazy. Yeah. I'm so grateful for her. Oh, she'll be so happy to hear that. You guys did We Day together. I love that. Yeah. Also, I think I've known Bailey since she was in utero.
Starting point is 00:13:40 That's basically what she told me. No, honestly, I told her I was like, we've known each other since I... I mean, I don't even remember what the first thing you were doing, but you looked it up. I want to say, I don't know if you were... We've been in like the brother's circuit, right? Back in like 2008. I don't think you were wearing makeup yet. Definitely not.
Starting point is 00:13:54 I think I was lucky if I got a little mascara. Yeah, you were like a little gloss. Yeah, a little gloss. For press day. It was a big deal. Yeah. Big, big deal. Now I'm like, wait, I need makeup.
Starting point is 00:14:03 And they're like, you need makeup. time really has changed and kaylin i don't know you as well so are you are you acting too you know that's a funny question i do um i've been acting since i was not as young as bailey but like i started when i was like eight okay and um now i just do pretty much commercials and print basically what are you playing now what's this what are you playing these days no please stop talking she has an amazing blog she's a blogger she's a mom she has two girls i still i still and i still like acting i just stopped doing tv and film when i had my riley who was six okay that was kind of when i stopped like auditioning although walking on this lot today i was like
Starting point is 00:14:44 ptsd right legit ptsd there was this one time i couldn't cry it was in front of producers it happened right over there i'm sweating imagine this is the one time i couldn't cry Now, I was actually thinking about that the other day. I was like, now? Oh, now I could cry at the drop of a hat. You're crying right now. I could cry right now. I'm thinking about not crying.
Starting point is 00:15:07 So wait, have you, like, what's the best slash worst role? Like, have you been gone to Rhea Girl yet? Like, what's the... No. Because for me, the print campaigns is like, you know what's so... But mom, they're doing jumping jacks. That's really funny. But the last...
Starting point is 00:15:20 Yeah, today I took... Because, you know, every mom does, like, jumping jacks now. like i did jumping jacks today with my girls in an audition it's crazy actually funny story are you serious talk about that sometime no i don't i don't because i know but you could you're right post two children yeah you totally could why don't you do you have a secret yeah what is happening i mean i hate that word like say it for me the dribbles kegels kegels oh they work oh one time strong i know one time i talked about peeing my pants on this podcast and then uh poise or whoever it is with underwear they sent me like a entire they're in the bathroom
Starting point is 00:15:58 right now they have a tampon that you can put up that like holds your pee in now you don't want to wear tampons i made i made my friend laugh she's gonna kill me i can't i won't say her name she's my best friend everyone's gonna know by the way yeah she will it's so obvious i already know i made her laugh i have no clue why oh i think it's because um she was just kind of in like a really fun mood and i'm i'm usually the mom of the party like i'm always the one that's just taking care of everybody and so i guess that's exactly what i looked like like i had like my mom loafers on and like i had her purse in my bag and the car keys in my hand i was like let's go it's it's midnight we have to go home and i made her laugh so hard i looked at
Starting point is 00:16:37 her in the middle of the street she's like i peed my pants and i was like no you didn't get up because she always says that she caught up katie on your street literal pee like i died like no So, like, the whole bladder came out. That's happening now. She's screwed. Oh, yeah. It's over, you guys. After two kids.
Starting point is 00:16:55 I was so flattered. I was like, I'm that funny. No one, like, tell some execs that. That's how you took it. That's how you took it. I'm so funny. I come with you as my hype man on auditions. Pee yourself during my audition.
Starting point is 00:17:07 And she's, like, 19 too? Yeah. Yeah, she's screwed. Because I didn't start officially peeing my pants until I was, like, 27, and now I'm 37, and it's, like, a mess. Wait, but no babies. No babies. it just it's loose just loose girl just loose she's got a wide vagina okay so i am a little confused oh let's just figure now that you have my life now you've had this podcast can we just
Starting point is 00:17:29 like talk through the family tree yeah it is confusing they were like oh i'm like i'm so disappointed in caitlin i think i'll have a baby 13 years later like how did that happen they're like you know this has not fulfilled me at all let me have another brother it was in between They were disappointed in him. No, I'm just kidding. I love you, Connor. He did have a wild face. He did.
Starting point is 00:17:48 He had a wild face. He still goes through it. No, honestly, this is the short version of it. Okay. My mom and my dad only had me. Best of friends. Her dad is different than my dad. Got it.
Starting point is 00:17:56 We have different dads. Okay. But the best part is that our dads are best friends. Whoa. Literal best friends. Our dads are tight. In real life or before or after? Both.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Both. Both. It's funny because- This is literally, you're the real This Is Us. Yeah, no, for real. And I did, you know the show Trophy Wave that I did? Yeah. That show reminded me so much of my actual life.
Starting point is 00:18:15 I read it, and I was like, oh, this is us. All the people coming in the house, the revolving door. You thought that, and you didn't name a show that, and then This Is Us took it. What? Yeah, actually. You read Trophy Wife, and you said, this is us. And I was like, oh, you knew the name back then. I should get credit for that.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Copyright. But it's funny, because I remember when I was younger, and I was still in elementary school and high school, my dad would call me, and I would miss his call. and then Katie's dad would call me and I'd be on my phone and I'd answer about two minutes in between but I didn't have time to call my dad back so I answered and I'd go hey and he'd go hey sweetheart and I'd go hey
Starting point is 00:18:50 what's up I'm just chilling here with your dad and I'd be like dad hey dad just I meant to call you and then her dad would go I was just telling him about last night when I was helping you with your history test and my dad would go oh yeah I was helping her with her science
Starting point is 00:19:06 the other day too so dad I love the voice that you guys have, for sure. Yeah. And they still, I mean, her dad is in Florida right now, and my dad's been traveling back and forth, and my dad will call me and be like, Danu and I, we are three bottles of wine deep. We are having an awesome lunch. It's hysterical.
Starting point is 00:19:23 That's so odd. Have you guys seen It's Complicated, the Meryl Streep movie with Alec Baldwin? We watched that show, that movie as a family one night, and we just were, like, tears falling because that's, Alec Baldwin is her dad, and, like, I would say. Okay. That's amazing. That is such a cool story. And your husband is a soap opera actor, and he is hot AF.
Starting point is 00:19:43 So hot. I have a crush on her husband. He is so hot. What's his name? He is telling somebody that he loves them right this very moment. On the show. I'm fine with it. I'm fine with it.
Starting point is 00:19:52 On the show. On the show. His name is Jordy Villasuso. He's on Young and the Restless. Yeah. He was on like every like. It's been steamy lately, guys. Is he in a love triangle thing?
Starting point is 00:20:00 He's in a triangle, and I get a little heated, not in a good way. And then I turn to Katie, and I'm like, Katie? who has two children with him you do but the other day and the guys just say really dumb things sometimes and he's so smart and like i just the best husband the best dad like i'm so happy he really has him um like if i could have handpicked someone like it would be him but he'll say these things sometimes like the other day he was like putting oregano oil in and trying he was like oh i'm sick and i was like oh i'm sorry like you think riley got you sick and he's like no no uh so and so was sick the other day are you oh my god are you kidding me katie katie
Starting point is 00:20:38 my other girlfriend was dropping the carrots for the kids and i look at him like i've lost my mind correct oh no i'd have lost i could have lost it and all i said was disgusting i'm disgusted like literally gross i was like don't get him off that idiot he wasn't done it's such a dumb guy comment that he doesn't even think like a second of it no he didn't yeah no he's like anyway they were making out it was and there's just no way to make you feel better like even if you're like ah the person's lips were really chapped like no more how chapped were they you really took her tongue was just really far down my throat yeah i cringe but i have to remind myself this is his job he is working it's a weird job though it's a weird job it's a weird
Starting point is 00:21:24 job but that's his job and i love that one time my husband went to this trip club with pitbull and they all got like lap dances in the champagne room and he came home he felt so guilty he told me about it and i was like he's like but it's my job to go and entertain these clients and i was like i know but this is like not a great job i don't feel like a strong about the champagne room part of your job that's perks for a job for me so funny um okay what's your podcast about i mean i did tell you a little bit but like so what are you doing like are you doing themes like what's it look like so we're still it's a work in progress i think our first episode was called work in progress and that's that's what it was i think for katie and i i mean she's my best friend
Starting point is 00:22:03 like we have 13 years age difference but so much of what i love how much we talk about that like to be on the young end of that do you guys want to know something the original the original cover art literally had an arrow like a timeline that said 1932 32 above my head and my sister called And she's like, what do you think? I was like, yeah, that's got to go. She's like, right, that has to go, right? I mean, I get what they were doing, but is that necessary, you guys? No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:22:28 You don't look good. But what made us start this was we realized how often we're going through completely different but so similar. I mean, the things are just so similar. I feel like I've got some wisdom because I've made a lot of mistakes. Yeah. So I think you look at me like, yeah, I have, I have. But I felt like we just wanted to share that. And a lot of her fan base has been so lovely to me.
Starting point is 00:22:56 And it's kind of like I've become a big sister to some of them. I also, for me, like I spend, you know, I love doing interviews and I love, like, promoting stuff. But it's usually the same questions every time. Which, like, you can only in 11 years try and answer it differently. And then you run out of ways to answer it. So for me, I was like it would be such a nice way for me to get to, one, not just for myself, but anyone that comes on the show control the environment
Starting point is 00:23:20 a safe place where like my friends can promote what they want to promote or if they don't want to promote something they can talk about their life or they can share something so I think just like a safe
Starting point is 00:23:28 super duper like inclusive area for anyone that's listening or anyone that comes on just like a way to to just I don't know get to be you for a second
Starting point is 00:23:36 my next question is for Jack Vanek what? Bailey's here today wearing a red beautiful long sleeve crop top I have it staring at your shirt do you like it? it reminds me of something
Starting point is 00:23:46 that you wore on the show Is it weird that... Oh, really? But there is some... I did wear a very similar... The one where you guys are drinking? Oh, that. Katie, we're really going to remember.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Be more specific. On December 20th, 3.32 p.m. It was the one where you put the things together. You were taking tequila shots, like you said. Oh, waste of facts. So here's my question. Bailey at 19, do you feel like it's time for a style change, knowing that the youngins are wearing the same outfit as you?
Starting point is 00:24:14 The youngins have always been wearing crop tops. I was wearing a crop top at 19. That's the point. I feel really weird about the fact that I'm wearing a crop top. Why? Are you not a crop top wearer? Well, the other night I went to this person's house and didn't know that I was going into this specific person's house.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Would not have worn what I wore. Needed a more conservative outfit. No, no, no. Oh, I was conservative. I had my mom's jeans on. I had a blazer with a long sleeve top followed by my loafers. You weren't dressed up. to be what I left
Starting point is 00:24:46 and he was like are these yours and I said yeah he was like I hate them I was like whoa men don't like a low fur I go well I love them men don't like a low fur
Starting point is 00:24:52 and I said and I'll wear them next time good as you should screw yourself screw that guy yeah screw that guy that is true though Jordi doesn't even like low furs
Starting point is 00:25:01 no no one no one likes a flat on a woman I still think a man wants to look at a shoe and think I could wear something like that no
Starting point is 00:25:07 you're right or like do they make that in my size I think you nail it I know I actually have that hoodie in black do you
Starting point is 00:25:13 yeah I love it you guys are the same I'm so young 13 years apart 32 are you 32? no you're way younger
Starting point is 00:25:25 no I'm 31 I'll be 32 in like 3 months I'm holding on to 31 for as long as I can I felt the same way my last question because I am I've mentioned this
Starting point is 00:25:34 many times but I am obsessed with Instagram and trying to get followers stop it right now no but here's my question you're part of the
Starting point is 00:25:42 young Hollywood where it's like all that matters is your Instagram? I feel so disconnected from that. But your Instagram is so beautiful. And so do you feel the pressure of, like, every young person in Hollywood's Instagram
Starting point is 00:25:54 is like a professional Vogue photo shoot at all moments. Like, you can't just be like, here's my toast, or like, here's a picture of me and my dog. That's what you have a Finstagram for, Kelty. Do you have a Finstagram? I used to. So the problem with me is I lose all my passwords. So I have, like, six.
Starting point is 00:26:08 I was just talking about that. Like, I'm pretty sure my iCloud was hacked today, and I can't fix it because I don't know my iCloud password. Like, I'm pretty sure people have my phone. You got nudes on there, girl? I don't, which is awesome news. Awesome nudes. Nudes.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Awesome nudes. Awesome nudes. But I do have some, like, I, like, you know, I'll vent to my girlfriends, which would, that'd be really bad if that got out. My immediate thing was, can I get your text message? Or amazing, actually. It'd be liberating. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:26:33 But anyways, no, you know, Instagram's such a weird thing. Katie and I talk about this all the time. A lot. With each other. And that was part of the reason that we started the podcast, too. We were like, these squares are so limiting. Yeah. Like with what you can say.
Starting point is 00:26:44 It is. It's hard. So for me, it's weird because if you go back on my page, I posted whatever I wanted. I know. Like it was my dog. But now you're super curated. Now I'm super – yeah. And it's really gross sometimes.
Starting point is 00:26:55 I will never forget one of your first posts though. You posted a picture of your toenails or something in the back of the car. Do you remember? Or your fingernails? We got to go back and look. So short. It was like way at the beginning. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:27:05 So bad. Like way so young. And I was like, oh, wow. I don't even think I had an Instagram at that point. I posted pictures of my luggage on the car. And I was like, six months in Atlanta, already crying, heading home. Oh, my God. And the time that we went to Vegas and you got $750K.
Starting point is 00:27:19 $500K. I had like a whipped cream. Whatever it was. So many cringe. So many cringe moments. I just want to just murder my Instagram. It looks good now. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:27:29 And honestly, to answer your question, like, it's a weird thing because now it's like, it's, even though you want to be as open, as transparent as possible, it's hard because everything is being looked at not just from the girls that you want to try and talk to or inspire but by people that can hire you or not hire you and so it's hard because you try and you try and play both fields like i would love nothing more than to post a photo of like me with my girlfriends with no makeup on but like we like then we're like oh shoot what if it's not pretty enough and then what if we lose out on this sort of opportunity but so weird i try i try my hardest to be as transparent as possible and i'm actually writing something that i've been writing like the last
Starting point is 00:28:05 two days about that that i just wanted to post for fun and writing's always been a safe place and um you know i used to i used to post on tumblr a lot about like stereotypes and things like that and so i want to get back into that but it honestly it's a really hard balance pictures are very beautiful they're very beautiful like i'm here for it you are your pictures are really beautiful yeah you're beautiful oh my god thank you guys oh my god it's so great i know thank you it's been so nice having the lady gang with becca and jack and now to have you guys as the second version of the lady gang with me it's gonna be great it's gonna be super fun it's gonna be a bye girl see ya all right when we come back um caitlin and bailey are gonna help you fix your
Starting point is 00:28:47 lives all right hey ladies ask the lady gang and we're back so we have our i love your glasses oh thank you i lost mine she's very blind you are i mean can't you tell by my glasses i can actually yeah it's like a yeah i just what number are you negative what 4.75 oh my god oh so you're blind as shit too right yeah but i was wearing my glasses earlier today she doesn't do contact you never do contact i just i just live blindly it's hard to be jack so i have a question about contacts when they touch the floor can you so my friend we were in the gym the other day and she dropped her contact and then just picked it up and put it right back i don't think you're I was like, I don't think you should do that, boo.
Starting point is 00:29:32 She was like, it's clean or an equinox. That is an overheard LA post if I've ever heard one. Oh, my God. Oh, I said something the other day. I was dealing, it was like a couple weeks ago. I was dealing with a really stressful thing. And I was talking to my girlfriend and I said, he is stressing me out so much. He's giving me cystic acne.
Starting point is 00:29:49 And she goes, if I could pitch that to overheard LA, like not just like acne or like a breakout. I'm getting cystic acne. She was like, dear Lord. I think this equinox one is a hit. That was me. I might submit it. I'm really confused about that. You just don't see all day?
Starting point is 00:30:06 Why don't you wear glasses? That's a long story. I know how to focus. I can focus and unfocus my eyes. I have like a superpower. I think it is. You just don't like contacts? No, I don't like contacts.
Starting point is 00:30:14 I need to get LASIK. But I live in glasses for the most part. That'd be a cool superhero thing. Like you could unfocus or focus and then like... It doesn't really do me any good though. You unfocus and the person would just freeze or something. Oh yeah. Seeing me is something extra.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Okay. You guys ready to answer? I'm ready. Give some advice. I'm ready. First question comes from Jojo. JoJo says. It's JoJo Siwa, guys.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Do you know JoJo Siwa? She's the little. She's crazy. With the bow. She's the little bow. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The big bow. Isn't she in a fight with Justin Bieber right now?
Starting point is 00:30:38 Yeah. Because he hated her car. Because it had her face on it. Anyway. But like. But here's the. Doesn't Justin have pictures of him? Here's the weird thing.
Starting point is 00:30:45 JoJo Siwa is about to turn 16 and Bailey is 19 and there's like a hundred years between them. There's lifetimes between the two. It's 100 years. She's fascinating to me. No, she is. I watch her videos sometimes. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:30:58 People call me Grandma Bae. It's just like a known fact. Yeah, I love that though. Yeah, you're a very old soul. Don't feel bad about that. I've been old since I was young too. Do you want to know something for Christmas? Anyone that sent me anything like work-wise, this is really soft.
Starting point is 00:31:10 It was either a candle or a throw. And I was like, wow. They know me. They know me so well. Every gift I got was a candle or a throw. I was like, where's my knitting kit? Really pissed someone. No one gave you the money.
Starting point is 00:31:22 You just need like 10 cats and then you're good to go. I know. I'm so allergic. Me too. So I got a fish actually. There you go. Yeah, I went through something and then I woke up the next day and got Ryan Reynolds and he made my life wonderful. And called me expecting me to be excited that I was going to have to take care of a fish now.
Starting point is 00:31:36 Honestly, I think the fisher is a weird, weird pet. He's beautiful. He matches my couch, though. He's beautiful. Does he give you comfort? Honestly, I wake up in the morning and I'm like. It's companionship. It's companionship.
Starting point is 00:31:47 And like I'll talk to him. Okay, that's great. Ryan Reynolds. Bailey, you do you. How's the filter, sweetheart? He's like. He almost died on us. He almost died.
Starting point is 00:31:54 That was devastating. Real bad. Real bad. We'll talk about that some other time. I'm ready. I'm ready to fix people's lives. Okay, so on that note, Bailey, the fish owner of Ryan Reynolds, is going to help you fix your life. And I'm going to take back that I think you should listen to this advice.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Get a fish. Name him Ryan Reynolds. Never talk to anybody again. And then go get a Blake Lively and Ashton Kutcher. There you go. My next one's Ashton. I want an Ashton. Love it.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Okay. JoJo says, my friend just moved to a new city for her job, and I am so excited for her. The city is full of young people, has great restaurants, nightlife. and she moved in with her boyfriend who she loves dearly. Oh, but she misses her. She's not happy. However, whenever I ask how she's doing, she only focuses on the negative, whether it's a mishap at work, getting a ticket, or the weather.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I know there are amazing things happening in her life, but she always seems to gravitate towards the bummers. How can I help her appreciate the good in life and realize the glass isn't always half empty? I don't know how, to be honest. Your sister's got to figure that out on her own, I feel like. I don't think your friend can make you appreciate that. I also think she's probably missing her friends so much.
Starting point is 00:32:57 And I think I find this with my really good friend who's in college right now. Like, a majority of it we'll call and we'll both kind of vent to each other. Not because we're not grateful for everything that's going on, but because we feel the void. Like, if we were in person, we would be laughing right now. We'd be cooking. And then we'd be talking about the things we're upset. But when you have that best friend that you physically can't be with, like, all you want is comfort from that person to say that it's okay. So I think for her friend, she's probably calling.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Probably because that's her person. Yeah, she's venting. Yeah, she's venting. Which is honestly like a compliment like you're the one person in her life that she's like I don't like I miss you like I don't know how to go through this without having you like by my side but I think just having patience and understanding and she's always been like this sometimes I lie about how good my life is because I don't want to make people feel that could be it too like I have like friends that are not in the entertainment business or people that are struggling their relationship or with money or any of those things and like or that are trying in Hollywood that haven't quite like hit it yet and they are like they look at me like oh my god you made it I'm like not even close like every level that you get to there's like 10 more levels above you it's like Mario Brothers but anyway and sometimes they'll be like how are you and then like I'll go to the first thing to complain so I can be like on their level yeah no no no I'm stopping doing that in 2019 that was my 2019 thing too it was yeah I just live my life I'm so self-deprecating
Starting point is 00:34:11 to try to make everybody feel super comfortable yes but maybe that's what she's doing because maybe her friend is still maybe her friend is still at home and she doesn't want to make her feel bad either yeah and maybe she is in a really cold place and if you're not you still cold place I've done that sometimes. Coldplay sucks. They suck. Coldplay? Coldplay.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Like she said she complains about the weather. It might be really cold. If you're listening to Coldplay, then you're instantly sad. Have you heard these records? If you're listening to Coldplay, you're in New York City. I like that you care about your friend enough to write in. That is lovely, but it is her journey. She's going to figure it out herself.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Okay. Did we help at all? No. I also think you truly never know someone's life unless you're that person, even your best friend. And, like, as far as you know, like, it's a great city. It's fun. Like, she could feel more isolated than ever. Even my sister, like, I mean, we're closer than ever.
Starting point is 00:35:02 I still don't know truly what happens between her and her husband. I still don't know what it's like when she wakes up in the morning. Like, only she does. So I think respecting and understanding that, like, what your version might be might be so different from what's actually going on. And it's not that she doesn't want it to be a lovely thing. It's that it just might not be for her right now. Boom. Drop the damn mic.
Starting point is 00:35:20 And go get a frickin' fish. Tell her to get a fish. Go get it, both of you. Okay, on that note, we're going to call it. Okay, when, um, what day is the podcast out on? Do we have to leave? Yeah, it's time. Bye.
