Starting point is 00:03:02 because i unless i'm like dressing up for something i look like a trash bag and i just have a lot of my own clothes hanging around. So, and everybody, I always get a lot of compliments like when I'm out or whatever. So I made these little business cards that say like, Oh, thanks. Uh, or, uh, you'd like my shirt. That's so awesome. I make other stuff on my website and a coupon code. Cause I'm like, maybe somebody will want to buy something if I give them a little business card. And my barista at Starbucks really liked my shirt the other day. So I gave her one of my cards and then I went in this morning and she told me all the things that she bought on my website i love that it was really cute it worked yeah i didn't know if it actually worked i'm like
Starting point is 00:03:41 this is a good idea instead of just giving out like a business card i love that yeah but she bought something she's like i bought the don't give away your secrets though you just gave away a really good marketing also will it be weird if what if i make a business card like that for my instagram and i'm like no one liked my dress in the parking lot why don't you like it on instagram i'm dying right now i am so embarrassed by you so that's a no i'm gonna say hard no that's a hard pass on that but isn't that cute i love that i was so excited for you yeah sorry she actually has goods she's peddling not an instagram account she's pushing on to the public oh you smiled at me maybe you should follow me on instagram instead
Starting point is 00:04:22 hey liam hemsworth heard you liked my interview with you can you just change your name to thirsty kelty night oh my god there's a web series there that we don't know yes there is okay okay my bad week um i don't know why i thought it was a good idea to get laser hair removal while i'm on my period oh and i haven't gotten it done for like six months so i don't know why i chose this i can't even pluck my eyebrows when i'm on my period it hurts so bad how did you do that i don't know what i was doing you numb cream no see i don't think it hurts that bad i know you hate it like beyond believe i think it hurts i don't think it's that bad but my conundrum was i'm like well do i wear a tampon or do i just like i always wonder that when you're waxing and stuff what do you do
Starting point is 00:05:07 i mean so i well because i'm like i don't want like a tampon string like hanging around when i'm like waxing or when i'm lasering so i didn't wear anything and i'm in there and it's you know going okay and then i do a flip over and as i'm like a little blood drips down your leg hold your butt open and i was like a laser is just lasering my butthole i'm like i feel a little drip oh my god oh god i just and then i got up and the little table was white and i had a little little pool of blood where i was that's so gross yeah this is why they used to lock women in rooms when they were on their periods i contaminated the place but i was like whatever it was on a little it was a groupon wasn't it you don't care about them no i go there all the time gross never
Starting point is 00:05:53 not anymore yeah i'm gonna still go all right well i'm gonna start out with my good week this is becca hi this is becca tobin talking 30 years old originally from marietta georgia her instagram is it's back to one of two daughters um okay i my good week is that i am a homeowner oh snap yep i made an offer how does it feel well two things i feel instantly poor yep you are and i'm excited like it's just it's really it feels like like i got engaged a couple months ago and the commitment to the house feels even more stressful you're doing all the adult thing i know it's like i turned 30 i got engaged i did anal i bought a house just kidding i didn't do anal the right of womanhood no um you're a woman now becca for real okay so there's
Starting point is 00:06:49 a bidding war in la the the market is insane and people have like millions of dollars in cash just floating around ridiculous and so you're like competing with these people who have cash offers like what planet does that exist when they have a cash offer do they they do the whole house or it's just yeah they pay for no they pay for the whole house so it's like you know sometimes you just can't compete with that but we got the house even though you know basically we paid a shit ton more money than we planned um but we really wanted it we fell in love with it and i like it's so cute i'm so excited um so that's my good week that's a good week that's a great um and then my bad week is you guys are gonna we're probably gonna lose some listeners um i cannot handle another four
Starting point is 00:07:37 months of political bullshit on my social media like i cannot deal with these people and their aggressive political like rants because nobody reads them and they're like oh my god i am so enlightened after reading joe schmoe's aggressive tweet about donald trump like i don't like him either but like i just can't with these people like either direction either direction like i can't i can't get on board like didn't your parents teach you that you never talk about politics or religion at a dinner party can't we treat social media like a dinner party no because everybody thinks they're right on social media it's awful i'd rather see pictures of your pasta and that is like saying a lot i'm so done like i might have to just like get off for a couple
Starting point is 00:08:26 months yeah just take a little hiatus hashtag losing friends until we have donald trump as president kelty you know what it is though it doesn't bother me when it's like people i know like posting or whatever it's like your undercover asshole friend that you didn't realize you had yeah and then you're like it's like it's fine like if you're like oh my god bernie way to go you're like okay fine like i kind of got that yeah no like it's like the person you thought was on your level and smart like you and then all of a sudden they post this thing and you're like i didn't know you at all yeah and now i have to unfollow you because that was so pops up Well, and it has nothing to do with the content that I'm, like, upset about.
Starting point is 00:09:00 It's all about, like, how insanely aggressive it is. Well, yeah, it's a very aggressive election. It's crazy. All right, so there you go. All right, bad week for me. A little different. I was on this airplane in business class. Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Oh, my God. No, that was okay. Life on the D-list. I'm sorry. Is you being in business class relevant to the story? Yes. Okay. Because it's like –
Starting point is 00:09:19 I didn't know if it was, like, one of those things you're just going out there just because. Well, I was on the phone with Angie Jolie, and then I hung it up, and then I was here. no I'm just kidding um okay so I'm in business class and business class it's kind of depressing it's filled with mostly men like if there's 10 seats on an airplane there's like two women two women in business class and the rest of them are all businessmen and it's like kind of a bummer for like women in general anyway so I'm on the plane and I kind of had um you know it's like making a little small talk with my seat mate and he was like oh what do you do and I was like oh i'm a journalist and did it and he's like oh that's really cool wow it's impressive like
Starting point is 00:09:55 i don't wow and then i like i was like yeah okay well cool have a good flight like and i turned way to look out the window and i let out the biggest fart but wait audible yes but you can't hear over the plane no no we hadn't taken off yet oh my god that'd have to be like a and i was so i was wearing leggings no underwear you know i like to fly and i have had really terrible symptoms from my autoimmune for the last month and so i'm like really gassy and it was like a flap did it smell i don't know about the smell a comment no he was silent did he notice i have no idea but i literally this is what happened i let out the fart and it like flopped oh my god it flopped through my ass cheeks like multiple times how did you not feel
Starting point is 00:10:55 that coming and then it just comes out and then i legitimately picked up my phone went to the notes section where i keep all my good week bad weeks giant first because i knew instantly like oh my god this is the worst part of my week the giant part of the plane in the business class like she doesn't belong there anyway she's wearing her athleisure wear get her back in economy that guy was like oh yeah i get to sit next to the cute girl on the airplane i was just like usually farting on an airplane is the best because nobody can hear you you cannot hear anything it can be like the loudest fart and the smell you have no idea where you're coming from pretend you're like oh you're like is that the pasta they're cooking you're like someone should
Starting point is 00:11:40 close that bathroom door anyway so classy as always um i had a little good week it's not that great but i was uh watching television on the said airplane and i was watching seth myers and he used one of my new favorite words oh yeah um it's called just ash so just ash is like the term for justin bieber's tiny mustache that he can't grow in and i think it's so great and so you know when people are like like the weird mustache that guys grow but they can't grow a mustache and then now we know what it's called i love that a just dash i love i'm sporting it's the worst you do but yours isn't dark when we're off our periods let's go get waxed it wouldn't be too painful this week oh my god let's just start doing it in here you should
Starting point is 00:12:30 get like manicures while we're doing this when we really hit it big we could definitely be like multitasking when we get 100 listeners let's get manicures when we're in here only 99 more all right three that really wraps it up we'll come back and do more of this greatness that was epic the lady gang inquire i'm very excited because our next guest's butt is actually tagged as me on getty images so i feel pretty good about my body right now everyone she's a singer and actress best known for starring on mtv's faking it uh she finished eighth on american idol and she was currently nominated for favorite comedy actress at the tv scoop awards oh my god i know i just
Starting point is 00:13:23 like found that out the other day and i was like well that's cool you're pretty damn cool she's got wearing a top knot right now and has like an impressive eyebrow and she's a babe katie stevens welcome to the show guys i just tanya crooks has been doing my brows and she's the brow gal and she's responsible for doing like julia roberts brows and megan fox's brows so i just feel like a whole new woman they're amazing i'm very jealous have you penciled them in today yes okay so she like taught me how to do it and like they look pretty good sometimes i feel like i go a little dark no you don't think when you try to reel it reel it back but yeah she just did them yesterday you know it's interesting in hollywood a new brow is the best day i'm never gonna know
Starting point is 00:14:03 what that feels like no but she has this serum that you like brush it through your brows and you can do it on your lashes and it's like an all green like no chemicals no nothing kind of like a latisse but it's just no chemicals and like it made my brows grow in like crazy she was like she was like you need to just let your eyebrows become like warrior women eyebrows like go crazy for a few months so i had them grown out for like three months and then she just shaved them yesterday well i've been growing mine out for a year and a half and they have been looking good though i'm impressed it's because you guys you don't see them when they're not filled in yeah but nobody's eyebrows look great when they're not filled in unless it's like the day after
Starting point is 00:14:44 you're tinting that's true yeah i feel naked without penciled in brows now i mean it looks so good the interesting thing about hollywood though is that if you ask a hollywood woman like where are you working out who's your trainer who's your stylist there's like five people but everyone thinks they have the eyebrow girl like there's so many eyebrow people in la that i know i have the eyebrow girl i have her name is brow gal i know i have her do you go the same no no you go to mine i switched brows brows studios well i used to thread my eyebrows which I was told is a no, no, no, no, because they don't, the more you thread, the thinner the follicle is and it won't grow back.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Same with waxing, right? They just don't. You know, this has been so interesting. This has been interesting already and we're just getting started. Our poor listeners who don't give a shit about our brows. Sorry. Everybody should care about my brows. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:37 We're going to start with the, with the celebration. So Katie, what is your ish moment? What's the moment in Hollywood that you've thought you are the ish? It's happened. You look amazing. you're walking the carpet the paparazzi is following you um actually at the people's choice awards this year okay what happened i had a sick dress and describe it was it was like it was like black and i felt great about it a because i picked out the dress like that morning because i
Starting point is 00:16:06 had no time i didn't know if i was gonna get off set and be able to even go to the people's choice so i was like oh i haven't even had time to pick it my stylist sonia like brought over dresses and i'm like right well i have to choose from these yeah that's good and so it was like black and um it was zaynep erdogan who designed it yeah and it was like black kind of like a sweetheart neckline but it had straps coming in from the center oh and i had like like a deep side part like slick back bun and then it was just like it was like to the floor there was like fabric that went down to the floor in the center and then where my legs were were just tassels oh i love that so it was it was sick it was festive yeah and i was like well i felt a little risque because like if i
Starting point is 00:16:49 turned to the side you saw a little like side booty uh-huh so i like felt like it was my risque moment but i still looked classy that's the thing it's like i never want to wear something that's like sexy where it's perceived as not classy anymore so like when i could just push the boundary but i still look classy and i'm happy with it it's a hard line to balance on i'm like in the problem of like classy mom like i want to look classy but i don't want to like push it too far into mom version i have never seen you look like a mom ever yeah you can stay you want to be a sexy mom sexy mom sexy non that's my goal i i think it's really your story is so interesting because you someone that has just been kind of shot down throughout your career and you just
Starting point is 00:17:30 rise and you don't stop and you don't give up what has been the your hollywood heartbreak i feel like you go through stages i feel like in the industry it's like i mean you guys know from you know what you do it's like you put so much of your heart and soul into different projects and different things that you're doing and then you know you don't get that audition or you know i've gone through different stages so i think my first heartbreak you know past idol but in the acting world i had auditioned for nashville and it was like after three years of me going out for auditions and not really getting anywhere and and i was just like really down and my contract with my agent was about to be up so there was a lot of pressure for me to book something so i got really
Starting point is 00:18:14 far on my audition for nashville for what part for the layla grant character okay so it was me and aubrey peoples and i got the call that i didn't get it and i was devastated my agent was like so she didn't even want to call me to tell me because she was devastated for me too so she called my mom first and told my mom and she was like can you tell katie my mom's like i'm not gonna tell katie you have to tell katie so then she called me and told me and i remember like it was the first time that i had like little kid cried in so long because i was like i was in that place in my career where i was like if i don't book something i'm gonna get dropped and then i have no one yeah and and they assured me they were like we love you and we believe in you
Starting point is 00:18:55 we're not going to drop you. And then, you know, it kind of lit a fire under my agents and they started sending me out for like 10 things in the span of two weeks. I got a call back on every single one. And then it was like a Monday morning, beginning of August, 2013. And I got a call and they're like, Hey, we have an audition for this MTV show. Uh, it's in two hours. If you could be memorized, that would be great. And I went in and I did my faking it audition. And in my head, I was like, this is the worst freaking audition that I've ever done in my life. Like my shirt ripped in the car. Like I had to grab a shirt that I happened to thank God have in, in my car and it didn't
Starting point is 00:19:33 match anything. It was just that audition process was hot mess. But, and then you got that one and then I got that one and I'd say my newest heartbreak was faking it getting canceled, but I like to say I'm a Phoenix. So I rise from the ashes. so yeah you know that that was an incredible three years of my life and i know fans are devastated that it's over and you know we're devastated as a cast but at the same time it's like you can't be on one show for forever like i can't play karma for the rest of my life so
Starting point is 00:20:04 i feel like having three seasons in a world where you don't really get three seasons anymore is great especially on mtv yeah and so now it's just like busting busting my butt to get the next thing so when you're feeling low and you look at your mirror and you're like katie i want to be inspirational today what's your go-to mantra because you're wearing a shirt that says whiskey is my spirit animal which it is this is a jack vanek t-shirt i went through a period in my life where i was very very self-conscious and like very down on myself so i used to start my morning by looking in the mirror and as lame as it sounds telling myself that i was beautiful but that in and of itself did a lot but i've been getting more spiritual in my life lately so i've kind of
Starting point is 00:20:50 rather than i'm a person that my boyfriend calls me a worry wart because i worry about absolutely everything yeah i love and yeah and i but i've come to the point where it's like worrying doesn't help me achieve anything or get anywhere so i've just been in this new place in my life where i'm like my path i was created and somebody already planned out what my life is going to be god's planned out what my life is going to be and so i'm just like my path is already my path yeah so there's no sense in me worrying about it because whatever is going to happen for me is going to happen for me and when it's the right time yeah because i know just from experience of my life so far everything that's happened has been at the right time and when something didn't go my way
Starting point is 00:21:34 it was just because something else was meant for me. That's kind of hard how you can see your life in the back. Like you can be like, oh, I didn't get this because I was going to get this or this didn't happen, but you can never see it moving forward. Very frustrating. Okay, I want to talk about some things that I've wanted to talk about with you for a long time. Sounds juicy.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Number one, I think it is absolute bull crap. I'm taking it way back to Idol days. How Victoria Beckham was one of the judges for Katie. and then it came out that they didn't the spice girls didn't even put victoria beckham's mic on what ever ever i never knew that yeah and then she had ellen was a like you had the jankiest season of idol of all time because it was the year that paula quit because of the contract negotiation was simon there it was simon's last season so simon paula simon or not simon victoria Kara Diaguardi, Ellen, and Randy.
Starting point is 00:22:28 I mean, that's not... Okay, so anyway, here's the list of people. We're going to see if we know any of the names. This is a list of people that got record deals on your season, okay? Put your hand up or say yes if you recognize any of these people. I mean, I can't play this because I know all of them. Okay, there was Lacey Brown. No, no.
Starting point is 00:22:49 Diddy Benami. No, but I like that name. Tim... Not Diddy, it's Diddy. well she's really so diddy you know what um tim urban no sibione magnus siobhan there's michael lynch casey james krista bauer socks and lead to wise these all all these people record deals okay so i've never heard of any of these people i could look at this list and i could tell you i think i could tell who everybody what everyone did um okay so lead wise is actually
Starting point is 00:23:22 doing amazing he is he though katie he no he really is i mean there's that new bad mom's movie he just got offered to write songs for that like he's been doing a lot of like writing for he's not getting paparazzi photos but that's not always the success that's not always the success tim tim is married to a girl that he met while we were on tour and they now have two kids cute um michael lynch has two kids and is married casey james i have no idea what about dd dd is i have no idea um but i mean that's that's the thing is like it's i always said when i was on idol you know i didn't want to be one of those people who was forgotten because i already knew that i was you know and people can because you're my friends you could be like no you were so
Starting point is 00:24:12 memorable no i was not i was 16 i had no idea what the heck i was doing i didn't know who i wanted to be as an artist let alone as a human being yeah but that's kind of good because then he can just kind of be like but that's the thing is like so i faded into the abyss but if you can't be carrie underwood like don't be any you know what i mean like if you either want it you need to be so successful or you need to be like forgettable so you can do something else yeah hard thing about those singing shows that's why i love that i left glee unmemorable because it's like you don't want to be in that in-between place you want to be leah michelle or you want to be me that no one knows like i mean we're gonna be playing this game we're gonna be playing this
Starting point is 00:24:55 game in a couple years with glee but that's a thing is is like i measure success based on you know because i feel like i've been thankful that my parents kind of put my priorities in check at a young age so like for me my success is if i could be successful enough to where i could take years off and have a family and like being in my life and they would normal person they would still pay you like ten thousand dollars because i feel the exact same way but don't you feel like am i ever gonna get there like don't you feel like you always feel like there's like more like that's the thing with the industry is like you get a show but then there's a chance that the pilot doesn't get picked up and then there's a chance that you don't go to series and then it's like you know i
Starting point is 00:25:40 never want to be the person where it's never enough yeah like i was the person on faking it that i was like yeah i'll do every red carpet that is offered to me because like this is cool like the fact that i get to do this as a career is cool yeah and it's like i you know i i haven't made that much money in my life but i'm thankful like my mom has like saved it all for me and helped me to learn how to do that so that when i'm in a place now where it's like i don't have another show yet and i'm not on anything it's like i still feel comfortable yeah it's like the smartest because i've known your money well because i've known like after i did idol i found i was like i'm broke as a joke and i was and my mom was that person she's like you know your dad and i aren't
Starting point is 00:26:23 gonna help you like get a job and i worked at sprinkles cupcakes at the grove for seven months and i quit when i booked faking it where do the cupcakes um come from do like okay bake them there there that day everything is fresh baked at sprinkles because you know have you ever it is sinful have you ever been at the starbucks airport early morning or late at night when they start unloading the pastries no and they come in little individual plastic wraps from like i swear to god a different country and you're like that is not a fresh baked croissant well i'm higher well i know from i know like you know cupcake cupcake gossip like there are some cupcake places that like their things are baked in one location and then it's frozen and sent to i believe it store that's
Starting point is 00:27:10 but i you know right hand right hand up me sprinkles does not do that they don't do that they bake their cupcakes every single day okay at the grove and at at the grove and uh well all locations bake their own but you know what the grove i feel like there's a sponsorship coming for you you get a cupcake per shift so you wait one like yeah well i guess you can't like get too carried away like yeah i would i'd be like oh well that's a thing how do they keep track i know how do they know the honor system did you ever spend anyone's cupcake you have to like check it off there's more questions i feel like i feel like i feel like i could get in trouble by saying this but they have like if they can't they can't put anything out that is not a pristine looking
Starting point is 00:27:56 cupcake so if like any of them get messed up they go into like a different rack no when we come back the like a lady question that has to do with orgasms the lady gang okay we're gonna play a game that um jack told me the official name of it what um it's called did i tell you wait i think you told me f or no f mary kill yeah yeah this is a thing now tell me is it bang bang mary kill bang mary kill okay this has been a thing since i know that's what were you okay i didn't have friends she's canadian she's canadian we were like hug you're from peace sign friendship hockey obviously not america we didn't ever have this game okay so here we go everyone are you ready yeah so we're gonna call it bang bang mary kill
Starting point is 00:28:53 ryan seacrest no you have to give an option you have to give three people three people so list the first three and then we have to decide what do we want if we went down here okay okay also here we go can i just say that culty wanted to call this game bang mary block what hook mary block which is like who would you want to hook up with i was trying to be nicer but i guess we're all just assholes okay here we go okay okay bang i'm making notes bang mary kill okay so ryan seacrest simon cowell paula abdul why why do i get this one okay we all have to answer okay um since you're a guest we'll start with becca i know okay i would marry paula because i love her so much and we go way back um like a month like a picture together
Starting point is 00:29:43 to one selfie um hey paula i would marry paula um i think i would have sex with simon cowell because he's probably like really nasty yes and then ryan seacrest see ya okay jack i would probably marry ryan seacrest because he has the most money so do you think i would have sex with simon cowell because he seems like he'd be good in bed and i don't sorry paula i just have no by paula my life damn it okay i agree with you i would marry paula screw simon yeah and and kill ryan okay but i do love me some ryan seacrest i have to preface with that i love him too but i agree with you about simon like and i feel like he was he was i mean i can't like i was an infant when i knew when i knew simon so i feel weird about this but like he was really mean he was
Starting point is 00:30:33 no he was really like i mean he wasn't mean to me but like on the show when he had to be like mean like simon cowell he was like i thought that was so annoying and i'm like cool dude so i'd just probably have like angry sex but mean like i'd push you against a wall it would be okay well i would have sex with paula you guys got it wrong she's so small and cute and petite how would that i don't know so you would be the strong one yeah you'd be the man so aggressive you're the top um And then I would marry Simon, because he seems like the guy that probably would be like, just use the house in Malibu for like six months and don't really be in a relationship with me.
Starting point is 00:31:13 That sounds fun. And I guess Ryan. Sorry. Okay. We're all killing Ryan. No, I'm not. I'm marrying him. Next group.
Starting point is 00:31:19 You're just using him. Justin Guarini, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood. Oof. Jack. This is easy. Shoot. Guarini has got to go. um i'd probably marry no i don't know marry kelly no carrie i heard carrie underwood's a
Starting point is 00:31:42 biatch so i'd probably kill her she's really not i think she's really nice yeah damn it okay and you know what they say about those religious girls they're freaky in the bed fine i'd have sex with carrie underwood and then i'd marry kelly clarkson because they've waited their whole lives to have sex they're always the freakiest in bed i have the exact same answer justin see ya kelly let's spend our lives together and you can sing to me every night and carrie i would definitely have intercourse with her okay um katie i will i mean i think everyone's on the same page about guarini being gone guarini gone is he gone already um and then and then and then i think i would i would have an affair with kelly clarkson
Starting point is 00:32:28 you'd motor and i'd yeah and i'd be he's got some good boobs you know cushion you know yeah and uh what are you pushing yeah i'm not pushing anything um and then i would marry carrie underwood because she seems like she'd be a good wife she's a nice she's definitely a great wife great wife great legs she's a great and she could like if i'm married to her she could like train me and like make me fit like her true didn't she buy her own engagement ring did she was rich he's a hockey player. But I heard he wasn't really doing that well when he bought the like and it's like a $300,000. Here's the thing is you can finance a ring
Starting point is 00:33:02 now. So. I wonder if Zach did that. This looks a lot nicer than Okay. Let's have three more. Oh, okay. Wait. I like these last. Why are they all American Idol people? Because we're doing
Starting point is 00:33:18 American Idol. Okay. Hold on. We're going to add something. We're going to change this to bang, marry, kill, let in the lady gang. as the last fourth okay so the choices are jennifer hudson lambert adam lambert clay aiken and ruben stuttered so i'll put them here okay so you can see so i would let me see okay um jennifer i think that adam lambert is coming in the lady gang yep yep yep ruben i would marry he seems like he's like a great guy to like hang out with on christmas morning teddy bear clay can gotta
Starting point is 00:33:56 go jennifer hudson we'd have some like deep segue during the orgasm what's jennifer doing jennifer she's having sex okay oh i would i would marry ruben yeah it seems like a good guy yeah he's a very good cook he makes the best collared greens i've ever had in my life yep um i think i would i would adam lambert seems freaky so i'd like have sex with adam lambert i don't think he wants to have sex with you he won't want to have sex yeah he won't he definitely won't want to have sex with me um and then clay aiken like i don't want you to be invisible in my room so you got to go and jennifer hudson what's left um you're having sex with her you have to invite her into oh she's in
Starting point is 00:34:47 the lady gang yeah oh because she's a lady okay becca i'm struggling adam is a friend of mine so obviously he goes into the lady gang um maybe i'd have sex with ruben because i've never had sex with someone chubby and i should experience that before i had sex with a black man i've only had sex with one person zach martin um okay he's gonna like that um jennifer hudson i don't know i would marry jennifer hudson and clay can see ya i'd want to have sex with adam lambert too like i really would i loved him so much loved him so much and he could sing to you in bed too yeah so what's his hit um what do you want for me is so good what do you want from me he also he also had that one i'm here for your
Starting point is 00:35:45 entertainment and then he had another good one but i can't sing so i'm not gonna try ghost what was that ghost one yeah ghost town it was like my heart is a ghost town yeah that was a good one okay um yeah i'd try to have sex with him but then i'd end up letting him in the lady gang because he wouldn't want to touch me um clake and is not coming near me at all i'd probably marry ruben too i feel like he'd be a really nice guy chill chill hubby and then is that it jennifer hudson yeah she's coming in the lady gang okay um well listen now we know if we ever have to replace if i ever have to replace one of you like who may be some ideas i'm just kidding you can replace me i want adam lambert for sure here's the like a lady question of the week oh it's so
Starting point is 00:36:29 good i'm nervous have you ever faked no yes i haven't ever i refuse to because i don't want guys to think that they're doing a good job when they're not yeah i don't think that's fair i haven't had to do it in a while but like i haven't either but i i never would when i was younger sometimes i just want it to end like right i end up just that's that's the thing that's when you do it yeah and if you're with a guy who's like really generous and wants to like please you you know he's offended if you're like no it's okay like i don't always have to orgasm but you do but see i don't you don't have to no sometimes i mean sometimes i like a big like or a quick like 15 seconds in the shower and i'm like good yeah or if you're like
Starting point is 00:37:18 having sex in public then you're not gonna okay you are an insane person yeah i agree with you i think that it's different it's a different kind of sex yeah but it's like sometimes it's just fun to like please your person and be like i'm good like get you next time i i agree i agree but me me being like the like power to women kind of girl that i deserve it i'm kind of like no no i'm not just here for you you're here for me and then i'll be here for you yeah like like So you have not then faked it? I have, but not in my current relationship. Okay, got it.
Starting point is 00:37:53 I think it's something people do when they're young, too. Yeah. Because you don't even know really what an orgasm is. That's true. And guys aren't good at giving orgasms when you're younger, either. Yeah, that's true. Well, if I could pick one question that being on Faking It, I was always asked was, have you ever faked anything?
Starting point is 00:38:07 And I'm like, well, I could go with the obvious thing and say that I've faked an orgasm, but I'm not going to give you the satisfaction. Yeah, thank you. I'm going to save that for the lady gang. Yeah. um katie's gonna stick around and help us answer all of our ask the lady gang questions and we're gonna help you figure out how you can fake orgasms in your life coming up get funky
Starting point is 00:38:28 becca is trying to sing along to our intro get get funky becca's so inspired by the american idol theme i know becca why didn't you audition for american i know i think it's becca's turn becca you've got the time i don't think so i don't isn't it over it is over also it's just it's too late for me jack i'm trying to find you success squad thank you you're worried about your career so am i okay so who are my parents before we start ask the lady gang if you guys want to get 20 off of jackmanic.com use code lady gang at checkout and get a whiskey is my spirit animal shirt and match a kitty yeah and get funky okay so for this part of our podcast you're going to help our listeners with their lives we have lots of questions and we're not the best at giving
Starting point is 00:39:24 advice so you need to help us out yeah i'm very good at giving advice perfect i'm not good at taking it though that's okay you don't need to take anything just good okay first question comes from anonymous she says i'm parentheses 24 years old have been dating my parentheses 27 year old boyfriend for three years when i have a family event he tries to opt out or is otherwise unenthusiastic about attending i regularly go to his family events and enjoy them how do i handle this should be should this be an issue or a red flag yeah it's a red flag yeah i mean my thing is is like if you're gonna wind up with that person for a really long time your in-laws are in your life for a really long time so if you can't get it together and like be a part of the family
Starting point is 00:40:07 especially like if you're a person that has family values like if paul ever wanted to not hang out with my family i'd be like well this is not gonna last very long because i'm a very family oriented person so i mean i always believe that guys deserve a heads up or a warning of like hey if you can't get this together and and hang with my family then i don't know how long i could be in this i think that there definitely needs to be like a maybe a talk about it if it's really bothering you and because i don't know maybe it's something that he doesn't realize he's doing but he probably does but i think that i mean any relationships about balance and it can't always just be on his court about like what happens can i also be like straight up honest though
Starting point is 00:40:50 sometimes it's like you have a sunday off and it's family day and like i'm gonna be the i'm gonna disagree it's like i totally get it but sometimes it's like it's your only day off and you're like do i want to go to the family barbecue and like have to make small talk but that's fine if that's like every once in a while yeah but like if he's constantly dodging going to family events like how would you feel if you're well you're married now but if he was like yeah i don't feel like hanging out with your family no it's and then expects you to go hang out with his anytime that there's something going on i think i'm really lucky because both of us i live very far away from my family and chris's family like he sort of mandates like how much we're going to
Starting point is 00:41:34 see them and we both kind of just like being with each other so it equals out but i'm just saying like i also think sometimes you have to when you get in a long-term relationship you have to set the boundary of what it's going to be yeah so like i have feel like i've been very good about setting the boundary of like okay every time you see your parents i don't have to go like sometimes there's just you do dinner with your parents and like sometimes i go and sometimes you know what i mean and being like this is what i can honestly do because i would resent them if i had to see them every week just yeah well yeah just yeah i guess it depends on netflix and chill you know amen i think you guys covered it all but like is your family awful are they draining i mean does
Starting point is 00:42:11 you have to endure some painful shit because sometimes that is the case like you know what i mean take a good hard look at your family yeah take a good hard look like if he has like really nice lovely you know family members and then you have like the town drunk and then like your meth head aunt who's hitting him up for money like you know you might want to like revisit that yeah but just communicate becca coming in well i mean not everyone's family is great that's true this is true yeah and also it's way easier to be with your own family that is to be someone else it's true like my parents never annoy me because they're my parents and i'm just like yes sweat pants no makeup i'm six again feed me and then like and then like but then you go have to when
Starting point is 00:42:52 i have to go to chris's family it's like oh i have to wear underwear today bummer you know yeah that's the thing is like i feel bad because my family is super like you know my parents are like we always have a plan like i took paul to disney world with me and my family and it was just my parents and then me and paul and my parents are like all right we're getting there at like 10 a.m and we're doing this then we're going here and we're doing this and paul's just so like go with the flow he's like cool whatever i don't care but his family is just like yeah we get there when we get there we do so it's like it's like it's refreshing for both of us like i think he's i sometimes refreshed slash probably annoyed sometimes with how scheduled my family is
Starting point is 00:43:31 but it's refreshing for me to go to his family where they're like cool do you want to wake up at one perfect like might ride small world might not who knows okay our next question comes from tracy and she says i'm 20 years old and i am still a virgin well i'm still pretty young and honestly it's not that big of a deal i just feel like some kind of myth mythical unicorn among my friends i thought i was gonna say mystical i'm not saving it for any one special person slash husband nor am i holding back for any particular reason my girlfriends say i should just woman up and lose it to somebody however a side of me just wants to wait for the right time whenever that may be so lady gang what do you think what are your opinions on giving it up and when do you consider
Starting point is 00:44:17 the right time okay i'm gonna say this you're gonna know when it's time like and also 20 is not that old what kind of skanks are out there these days yeah like i didn't this and the thing about it is like i don't know about you guys but my first time was not some like magical wonderful i don't think anybody's i was wearing a white von dutch hoodie that he didn't even bother to take off that was then covered in blood yeah uh-huh and then i had to walk to my car in downtown atlanta by myself because he didn't even walk me there but honestly it sounds like a horror story but i was kind of like all right i was ready and i did it and like check off the list like you can't like build it up so much it's gonna be yeah that's the thing is like you can't like be like oh it's
Starting point is 00:45:01 gonna be so magical because like guaranteed your first time you are not gonna have an orgasm and it's gonna be terrible and you're just gonna you need it to be a fun story to tell but i would not recommend that you just like give it up to like any sort of joe schmoe yeah yeah also your virginity is your power later on in life and you don't really realize that like you don't don't just like go find someone like i got a woman up and go get have sex so you can say that's so stupid because later when you're like 22 and you meet a guy in 24 and 29 or whatever um they'll be like whoa like you'll be extra hot because like no one's had you and they want to break you in yeah well i was i lost my like jack yeah i lost my virginity when i was 23 so i was like the last
Starting point is 00:45:46 of all my friends lose my virginity and it was also to somebody that i was like obsessed with for like four years and i thought it was the right person in the right time and it was literally traumatizing to this day so i just i feel like any time is gonna kind of suck well and also just own your choice i think like anytime you walk away from a situation and you're you feel bad or used or taken advantage of or whatever it's because you didn't fully like step into it and own it so it's like just make the choice commit to it you don't have to do it if you don't want to like but just don't i mean but i also think that's harder because when people lose their virginity when they're younger it's like you're so young and dumb but then i felt you know as because i
Starting point is 00:46:24 was a little bit older i was a way more self-aware and more mature and then it kind of does become a big deal because you're really thinking about it because you waited so long that and then then here it comes the penis i like identified through being a virgin when i was like and and so it's just like a really weird thing once you get to a certain age but i still don't think it's a big deal it's still gonna probably suck no matter who it's with yes with a boyfriend or if it's with some random dude but just i mean don't let anybody pressure you into that yeah my my first time was with like my high school boyfriend it was my senior year of high school and i didn't cliche so cliche i didn't i didn't tell my mom and so i had like moved to tell your
Starting point is 00:47:05 mommy had sex no i didn't i was like i was like does everyone tell their parents no no but like i'm really close with my mom so it's like i told my parents my parents i'm having sex with my husband well i feel weird talking to my mom about birth control i'm like you i mean we don't have sex though see but that's that's the thing is like so i'm really close with my mom like my mom's like cliche my mom's my best friend she's a cool mom she's a cool mom but so like it was one of those things like i felt after i after i did it i felt like i needed to tell someone so i was like i told my aunts and like all this stuff and i felt like i couldn't tell my mom i was like all this is screwed up so after like three years of living in la my mom was moving into a new house and she
Starting point is 00:47:41 was talking to my aunts and she's like you know i'm just so proud of katie you know she's living in la and she's like holding on to her virginity and all this stuff and my aunts are like you need to tell this poor woman because she has no idea and so i threw my mom a 50th birthday surprise party and she was like a little tipsy afterwards and she was so happy that i threw a surprise party that i was like i could literally tell her i murdered someone and she would be like i still love you and so not that like me having sex was a big deal but i was just like cool i could tell her and she won't make a scene so i told her and she was like with who and i told her with who and she goes oh really oh it's okay my first time was with a nerd too thanks mom yeah
Starting point is 00:48:21 i love that okay our last question comes from mary and she says i recently started back into the dating scene and matched with this guy on an online dating app we instantly clicked and began talking every day for a week leading up to our first date when we went in person when we met in person it was even better after our third date however something instantly changed and he hasn't asked to see me again when i brought it up to him he said he wanted to see me again but was really busy and quickly changed the subject i'm totally confused as to what happened i'm at a loss and don't know what the next move is or why you could be acting this way any suggestions the next move is find someone else he doesn't like you yeah yeah yeah sorry he doesn't like you mary that
Starting point is 00:49:03 sounded really harsh he's just yeah no he's he's not your guy i mean dating apps suck and guys can just i mean it's so easy to just like move on to the next thing if something's not like perfect and i think that's a big problem with dating apps but i think that i mean whatever it is he's a douchebag and you just need to move on i mean i think that's a problem with dating in general yeah like i never want to be single again because it just is like dating sucks excruciating like especially in a place like la like people come to la so that they could just like mess around and especially guys it's like oh cool like there's this door and there's something beautiful behind this door and i love it so much but there's also 200 other doors i could open so let me go check
Starting point is 00:49:48 out the 200 other doors and also mary i'm gonna give you a little inspiration right now because i think we were really harsh on you you're being spared like when something doesn't work out for you kind of like circling back to our conversation earlier like it really is i do believe the universe is sparing you from getting in even deeper with this guy and getting even more hurt so he's not your guy and he's not he's not worth it and i think that i know that we've talked about this a bunch of times but men are really really simple and it's not something where you need to make a move or like plan something out it's like if he wants to see you he'll see you if he doesn't that he won't and that's just they're so black and white we need a t-shirt so he wants to see
Starting point is 00:50:29 you he'll see you girls that's like but it is like when you're dating and you're single that's such a hard concept to grab onto it's like i had plenty of of jerk guys do that to me and i was like well like but maybe if i wear my hair down what if i like text him this and i like link him back in and i'm like no wait that's never gonna happen cool move on goodbye no it's stupid sad for you mary but you're gonna find your prince charming let us know all about it inside the secret lady gang facebook group make sure you guys come and hang out with us and also thank you so much katie for being here you guys are so fun i want to come back um anytime and guys make sure that you go and subscribe on itunes and leave us a five-star review because i feel like you guys
