and you really hope that the people are not like i'm very serious about myself and i don't think like and that happens all the time no offense to becca but like that happens a lot with the actors of course you know they're like not into like joking around about funny things yeah so when i knew we had the kevin and danielle jonas on i was like we have to tell the story about when we got when we when we did the thing and we talked about them you know which i think we should like insert like right here i went to the jonas brothers concert this past weekend and we're talking about it like are you a nick or a joe and no one ever mentions kevin because well i know i felt the same way i was like watching the concert and i was like nick and i was like i'm not feeling

the fuzzies i'm like joe not feeling the fuzzies i i'm sorry kevin jonas is a smoke show a tight yellow t-shirt muscles he doesn't really sing he just goes around and fingers the guitar i love a fingering guitar i know he's tall i can get it i'm 100 you're right it's he is hot yeah he got hot didn't nobody like kevin say something super awful but like it's not hot when you devil's advocate when you like marry your high school sweetheart anyway so i was so excited to interview them and they were exactly how i wanted them to be i know i'm obsessed with danielle i danielle's the actual clear winner of the jonas family that like quiet confidence that i really appreciate and it's actually i mean i think that's probably 90 of why i ended up marrying zach yeah was because he really

like had zero desire to be a celebrity or famous or anything oh that was my uh it is a spoiler alert but that was my favorite thing that she said about not wanting to be in the spotlight yeah she's like there's no competition like i am totally fine yeah there can only be one star there can only be one star and so i except for you and jerry and the reason that works is because jerry actually doesn't want to be a star jared is literally he's the worst rock star of all time rock star of all time i used to call him the blurry guy because he would always be blurry in the background of their pictures he's like an egoless musician yeah it's so weird so anyways like with Zach like there was things about her that I just appreciated because you know similar

and I hate that I'm comparing myself at all to Kevin Jonas like it's disgusting but I just I felt this love for her because at home behind closed doors you know that bitch is running the ship oh yeah and it's like with Zach that like quiet confidence that gets shit done they let us be complete morons who think we're special and like think we're the sparkly people but really everybody meets them and they're like no actually that other person's the sparkly one that's yeah that's us yeah we're punching up yeah no it's 100 and and chris uh my chris is the same way like he's a quiet confidence he doesn't want to be famous he doesn't even want to let me i was like chris it would be so funny if we do a tiktok where you rate all of my ugly pajamas

and he was like no do you know how many times i try to get jared to do tiktoks with me yeah he's like no but i'll tell you people feel a way about me like you know no one hates chris knight no i love him because he's just the best because there's nothing to hate yeah exactly it's it's wild i just really enjoy her and she's so beautiful she's gorgeous she's crazy style i was looking up all these pictures and i was like this is like even in the early days of the jonas brothers when she was doing red carpets with him she very rarely got it wrong told her and i we we're getting it wrong in a big way at that time oh i mean yeah yeah and he's very sweet and thoughtful and like that you can just tell they're just so normal and nice yeah i want their show

tomorrow i want their show i know i want their reality show i want it all right shall we yeah i guess we should just kick it off anyway it is time for good week yes it is bad week oh no who wants to go first okay everybody knows how much i love jersey mics like it is not i was at the airport the other day and i looked and i went to starbucks first and then i was like god damn it i forgot there's a jersey mike's here and then i thought about you delta terminal yeah that's why i mean it's half the reason why i fly delta starbucks and jersey mike's you literally don't need anything else except when i used to get to the airport really really really early and then people would be getting subs and i'm like that's a very early sandwich at like 8 a.m have you done

an 8 a.m sub no i actually barely get subs at the airport because it's early yeah yeah it's never a hold on so the reason you fly delta i'm just i just want to like this is jack and i know i need it the reason she flies delta half the reason she flies delta is because there's a jersey mike in the los angeles terminal however all delta is also superior she rarely gets a sandwich this is why and i have a whole i have a whole process we're dealing with here no we have this thing called mike's mondays have i talked about it we're we only get jersey mics on mondays like you and jared yeah okay every monday it's because i it's something to look forward to on monday okay it's like a thing i watch the bachelor or we like watch tv show but it's mike's mondays and if i get thrown

off like when we were traveling i didn't have jersey mics for two weeks and then we had to do no well then i said and this french baguette this fresh french baguette's just not cutting it it's not i don't know how many times i was like i can't wait to get home and have jersey mics but anyways that's not the point of my story i might the point was everybody knows i love jersey mics i tag them on instagram all the time i'm like please notice me because i'd be your best ambassador ever so i posted about them like i do like every week and they finally responded to my thing and what did they say free jersey mics for life no so i posted about them i was like the ultimatum and jersey mics what a great combo and they they wrote back and they go name a more iconic

danielle jonas is listening to this right now i'm so embarrassed um she's not she's definitely not she's way too busy she gives no she's like no thank you um i have gone through this 10-week program of like getting my life back together and my body back together and as part of that i had a doctor take me completely off my thyroid medicine this is a bad doctor i'm not going to anymore and he was like no no just go cold turkey get off it for two weeks and then start this new medicine i've never felt worse in my life than the two weeks and then the other doctor was like that's like the worst advice you could ever give anyway i've been on and off three different thyroid medicines since january and i finally am back on the correct i'm alive i'm awake i'm here

my brain's working i can read i can see everything her left eye is working again it was my right eye but yes my right eye is working i can read the teleprompter i was like what is wrong with me i was like am i an idiot am i losing my mind i couldn't read a teleprompter it was so crazy anyway but that's not the point the point is one thing that thyroid when your thyroid is off you are so bloated and gassy you cannot poop everything shuts down i have never had more gas in me they would go to like do the acupuncture and she'd be like oh it was like that tiktok song when she'd like hit my stomach it was like this she was like you have so much gas and she's like what did you eat today i was like water she's like whoa anyway i was the gassiest person it was

terrible i'm no longer gassy gassy is terrible and i'm so happy she's gas free baby i am low gas good for you god that sucks that does nothing worse than being bloated but did you know we've talked about the trick of laying on your left side if you've trapped gas yeah it's though it's the best medical advice i've ever been given by a non-doctor well it's the same thing when you like i do my massages when i'm pooping on the left side yeah i was doing all of that and more i was having other people massage my anus no i'm just laying on that left side it really lines it all up and sends it on out okay bye send it okay so my good week is i had a sex dream about what not zach no don't be silly i had a sex dream about a celebrity and it's an unlikely character

can you tell you can tell david spade oh and i am now sexually i was already like a humongous fan like brain energy big brain he's very funny he's like got swagger i mean i've always been a fan but i was never like if i if i were single would i have tapped that i don't think so maybe he's older than me by by a bit but now that i've had it it's like he's coming up on random it's like instagram for you it's so not only is instagram listening they're also in your dreams so now he's being served to me on a daily amazing daily spade daily spade and i i it's strong my feelings are strong i love when that happens that's happened to me so many times that i have a sex dream about somebody so random and i'm like am i in love with them i i woke up and i was like i am i think i'm

Cause I was like, well, now that my

guts aren't like inflamed, maybe they can send some serotonin to my brain, you know? So I did lower it by half and I also changed my thyroid medicine. And I swear to God, I'm Samantha Jones. I have never had a sex drive in my life. When you were talking about David Spade, I was thinking about the whole time, the whole time, just now I was like, have you known Chris been having more socks? No, because he has shingles. He's been really sick. that's not something i should laugh at but it's been horrible he he where's he he's on well they're all across him but he he's now on his health journey he's going to all the doctors and he's really sick so he's really not having the energy for it you can borrow david spade for your dreams

exactly like us okay so you have a new kids book and i love this um because yes i feel like well becca has a new not a new baby but a one-year-old and i feel like the book market is you know it's fuzzy and whatever. And I love like the rock concert and now we're having a beach. So tell us all about that. Yes. Yeah. So we, we wanted to do these books. We're really, really so happy that we could work together on them. Like anytime we get to work together, it's great because we actually get to do stuff together, which is nice. And instead of me traveling to travel, literally it was in London yesterday. So now I'm home. It's great. But, um, I think what really comes down to for us is the, the rock concert in my bedroom was really about, you know, state, you know,

you know, jitters and like going through like all of those feelings of doing something new for the first time um now this one's about disappointment which is something that we all deal with and to kids and especially kids in our life you know and okay dad actually has to go again and just adjusting to for a little context for everyone that's listening it's the idea is there's a beach in my bedroom because we're supposed to go for a beach day but it's gonna rain and now that disappointment make the best of it and make a situation that you have a family memory or a memory but making it special with what you're given and kind of having to learn to accept that because I think that's the way life, you know, is and what life throws at you.

Wow. I love that because especially right now we talk so much about how spoiled our children are and how like everything is on demand when they want it, how they want it, how long they want to watch it. So it is, it's like, how do you teach these lessons in life that they're going to have to eventually learn? I love that. I can't wait to get it. I love it too. And then we took like some of the jewelry, right? It's kind of, there's like a nod to your business. Yeah. Even in the first book there was a little bit of a nod where there's there's always like a piece of jewelry and it seems like yeah you did the bracelet for that yeah good help there and then another one this and you know she has her company and she works really hard on that and the girls know that so

they kind of these are not exactly our kids and us it's more of like an emulation a nod to and so like no they're they feel emulated in the book so they fight they're like well who's gonna be the main character now yeah exactly it has begun how how do you like handle being a parent and then also having this like insane life because when they're babies you're just like the babies come they're in the car seat but like these are little humans that have their own lives and their activities and all that stuff like how on earth do you tour the world it's hard like i always tell him I'm like I have one foot in like you know the world here where it's like home family school and then I have another foot in his world where it's like he's out there and then public and just going

on tour and all that stuff it's hard but like I think what we've done with the girls is that I try to keep them in school and doing what they want to do because they have their own lives and I want them to have their own personality, their, their own friends and, and stuff. And, and then we, we try to balance it with them going to tour a little bit with him, but then being in school and being with their friends. So it's where I'm constantly trying to balance it, but I do want them to have their own lives because sometimes when you're on the road and everything, you, you just kind of follow everything that's going on, right?

So you kind of lose yourself a little bit, you know, even for myself, you know? know it's it gets overwhelming it's a giant it's a giant production and a huge thing and we're gearing for you know the start of ours in august so it you know it's a big undertaking but we try to figure it out we do and i think really comes down to me flying home on the day off oh yeah it does the pressure well jack's about to marry a musician a touring musician yeah um any advice danielle for jack well i was gonna say this reminds me i i just can't imagine being in your shoes where it's like 10 times the craziness of what i experienced my fiance is in like a mid-level rock band so hey but if you want to take a rock band on tour it's called the main

and they're amazing oh yeah of course we know the main of course they do um and so yes yeah that's not a mid-level. Kevin said you're not mid-level. Danielle says the same thing to me about the Jonas brothers. So that's fine. She's keeping you humble. She's a smart woman. Keep it on lock.

cause it's so easy for Jack right now. She can put on her cute outfit and like fly around the world and be like Penny Lane, but then you have the kid. Yeah. What do you do? It's, it's actually so danielle has we've in the last couple years we've had a couple things that have

changed right we did not travel with the kids as much in the beginning i was afraid a little bit i was new to us and it wasn't our environment and it just wasn't our thing you haven't had a baby right that's what you're saying she doesn't have a baby yet not yet not yet but i'm scared to give in the profession like because it does it's like it's so rewarding i i'm gonna be honest as the father in the situation like yes we do what we love we know that this is it's funny like we are like oh man you're gone for so long it's like yeah but this isn't new it's kind of like you're in it you've been through it and you just adjust how you do it it's like you just you have to make adjustments for family like literally this tour is the first tour that everyone in my family has

kids now right oh yeah that hasn't happened but yeah and we all do things very different you know and and my biggest thing was like i wanted to do everything like my mom did so no help like oh yeah no we travel with those like pop-up things like pop out that are like bark buckets that's it that's it oh my gosh yeah um okay this is exactly the kind of content we you're so scared now no no i'm just saying compared to that that's the worst that could happen that was one kid i mean i'm one time i swear i'm stuck on the fact that i have one child i am a podcaster not a rock star and i have like four hired people to help me get through the day so you're a freaking superhero to me oh my god yeah i want to ask you about the future nepo

babies um i feel like you guys have a good handle on this i feel like there's no they're not running around being like it's my show um so i feel like we have a good handle on that but is it is it kind of crazy to think like you guys came up and you are just regulars you're nor as we call them normies and like you have one of the most famous families on the planet like does that freak you out and then on top of that, you're a girl dad, which like, I'm so close with my dad. Like there's just something about being a girl dad. That's so special. Do you feel overwhelmed at like what your life is? Yeah, no, there are definitely times it's weird. Like I'll leave one place and come home to let's call it suburban life here in New Jersey. Right. And you kind of forget that

the other side of my life exists kind of like split. Um, but then it starts to creep in and you forget you do um what the situation is like i went and i volunteered at field day because danny was actually on a bachelorette trip which she never does which was really never but i was there home for the week i blocked my calendar out like i'm gonna be home and it was field day i also forgot that i was going to a school filled with kids and i was actually going to be around these kids all day so it was um not exactly the right choice it was slightly distracting for the game the game I was hosting, no one played the game. The game turned into how long can I avoid having a conversation with, uh, you know, eighth graders, but, um, it was, uh, really fun and it was great,

but just being present is all that matters. I think, and even with our relationship, people used to call me KT and T, which is my nickname, like a joking nickname, because I was always on the phone. We would talk on the phone. Our entire relationship was built talking on the phone or FaceTime or whatever it was. So I kind of, we revert to that when I'm gone like i'll stay up in london until two three o'clock in the morning just to be able to talk to her for a couple hours and then go to sleep even if i get up early it's just it's it's how the process works for me oh my god my husband travels and i just don't talk to him for a week yeah i like i totally get it and we we we've gotten better at doing like the texting thing too when we both

realize and it's been it's been a we've been together for 13 years so yes but luckily we actually still like each other and want to talk to each other um okay so this is where we're gonna flip the script and let you know why we're so excited i mean we're obviously so excited to have you both today but there's something to clear up and the lady gang community really brought it to our attention so um just a little backstory for you guys so i went to las vegas to cover the new um record release for e-news and i was so excited to be there and i got to see your concert that you guys played at MGM. And I came back to Lady Gang, to these girls, and I was telling them about, you know, that experience. And I went with my husband and I really had this

experience because I'm, and to be honest, like I'm a huge Backstreet Boys girl. And so I really have, I've, what your fans do for Jonas, I do for AJ from the Backstreet Boys. Okay. And so I wasn't, we weren't like we weren't we love you and we rock out to your songs and like rock out is not a cool thing to say but anyway yeah so we went we were we're a little bit too old to have gotten that in our bones when we were like pre-teens that's why the backstreet boys are yes i think it's i get it it's an elder thing yes so i came back from the concert and i was like wow the jonas brothers in concert is a revelation because the society is like oh you know i look at nick and i and these your brothers and i'm gonna be nice but i look at nick i didn't get the fuzzies i looked at joe

who like allegedly is supposed to give everyone the fuzzies and i was like yeah whatever and then then i turn and danielle i'm so sorry to say this but i turn kevin jonas in a tight pant and a yellow t-shirt fingering this guitar like it is sorry he is you know really giving it to you in a very way And I came back to the girls and we had a 20 minute discussion on why Kevin is the hottest Jonas brother. And then I'll take the win from the lady game. Here's where the community caught us, because Becca said the reason that Kevin has been overlooked in the past, perhaps as being the sexiest, is because he married his high school sweetheart. You were taken. You weren't even part of the you weren't even on the menu. i get that i totally that was a fear right but i would imagine that would be a fear by like

an actual record label but here's where lady gang came in lady gang said oh no no becca tobin you are incorrect he picked that girl up on the beach in new jersey at the bahamas he picked up that hot girl in a bikini on the beach and managed to woo her so there was no high school sweetheart this was not a safe bet this was you hit on her i want to know what you said to this woman i was like this isn't a jersey tan girl hair up amazing she looked insane i was like who is that right but then met her on this hasty white kid in a rock band that is no like soaking wet maybe 115 pounds amazing yeah fire bathing suit like nothing good about what's happening I look like a child look back at the photos whoa we had just moved to Los Angeles like I'd say a

couple like six months prior and we were on this vacation our managers were like this would be the last vacation you'll ever take like for the next you'll big take in like five years which they were not wrong um at the time this was 2007 and we met on the vacation and she thought she'd never hear from me again but it was also like I'm she was you can say she was seeing like definitely two other guys yes you know like that exactly look at her smile she doesn't do it all day wasn't waiting around for me um but i got a little cyber stocky found her brother's band myspace page because we're talking about my mom and found her profile right and then was able to do that but i also remember when they said they were flying home and there's only a couple flights

leaving around that time so i called when the plane landed and was like i didn't want it i I just want to be the first one to talk to you. And you know what? Everyone on the plane said, her family said, the smile on her face the minute you called over. Because she never thought I would hear from her. I was the first person to call her. Oh, wow.

What did you say on the beach when Pasty, I need to get back to Pasty. Pasty Kevin, yeah. What did you say that she even gave you her phone number? Her sister gave it to me. There was definitely like some vibes, right? Like I met her the night before and randomly at like the pay phones because none of us had cell phone plans. Wow.

um and we got there and the next day the first it was my last day on the beach was her first day first thing first person i saw literally walked by me was her and like danielle i remember her name she's crazy um and i pretty much tried to not leave her alone the rest of the day she tried to lose me like five times persistence pays off sometimes sometimes but you know what i'll just say that sometimes you know and i knew wow this is also for the girls in the lady gang who are writing us you know we give a lot of advice and they're like i met this guy it was a magical night but like i haven't heard from him maybe he like lost my number what you know the all the excuses it's like no if kevin jonas was able to stalk danielle into being his wife he's not into you

that's the level we need if he hasn't called probably not gonna call yeah if he wants to we will i feel like that is the moral of the story it's been a long time it's been over 15 years since dating which is wonderful but we try to date still today i love that i'm not gonna be i'm gonna be honest like the people now that like play the game or like they meet and then like they wait days i'm like yo forget that i was like i was i was not afraid to look like desperate because of how much it is really rare for men to do that so i think that that's very special yeah feel good about who you are and also like know that like the girl is worth it yeah yeah i would rather lose the opportunity than look, look cool. Trying. Wow. That's a quote guys.

steam ahead promo run of all promo runs for this album for the singles for the tour that we launched like just all of the things right it has been a lot it has been full-fledged full force and it like album cycles come for some every year for us i don't think that's going to be the case it's going to be you know periodic and then we're going to tour that album then do it again and you have to live a little bit of life to be able to write about it that's how i feel but you know say inspiration is all around you but we've been running really hard haven't been home a lot and she's just like i feel she's on the phone with me in london i'm gone and she's like i just feel disconnected from you and we gotta find a way to like bring it all back to center knowing that

you're about to leave even for longer or like be back and forth and so like being honest about it was like real instead of just like bearing it down just like this is what it is it's like no it's like we gotta figure this out like she was very strict finding like my place in it because like the two boys married somebody who they're actresses they're they're out there they're everyone knows them and i feel like i'm danielle you know and it's like i it's hard i'd like i think everyone's listening to like no not even close but it's that but i feel that way too being like you said nick and joe right like solo careers movies all the stuff it's like everyone has to find their place even no matter the situation right yeah right i think like for

us communicating talking through it yeah it's also that like i'm out there like you like like celebrity wise because i've married you right and that's where like it's like oh like i don't i want to have something else to my name too so that it feels i don't know more than more than or or like the other girls because then when I'm with the other girls I feel just less than sometimes and but it's weird yeah well I mean just like barely knowing you I think you probably bring a lot more to the table than you realize and probably more than those other two actresses and I can say that because I'm an actress but you know I first of all it's so good of you to be vulnerable and open about this it's so relatable it doesn't matter who you are when you're stacked up and like being

compared to other women by society by whoever even when the women you love like we deal with it all the time yeah no exactly you always get compared to the people around you the most like literally you started the conversation about the journalist was like that right and that's the joke but that's the environment and no matter what environment you probably dealt with it and i know she did with her sisters right growing up you know the three of them so like there's that so i totally get it no i'm sure that there's so many women listening that are in some sort of a situation like that like i am the you of the lady gang like they were both in entertainment before this this is what they do professionally i had like a clothing line and sold t-shirts on

the warp tour back in the day like that's where i like got to where i was so it's like there there is always like a comparison that you're making in your mind and i just think as women we just have that innately so yeah it's it is an interesting topic and it's great that you're vulnerable about it yeah i love it and also you have a you have amazing style and you you show up the way like you show up like a superstar. I mean, you might've not felt that way, but like, even at the Hollywood walk of fame, like I know these girls have stylists and all this stuff, but it's like, you show up and it's like, you're, you're it. You know what I mean? Like, yeah, you're, you're it. Um, and then the most important part is, and I did this to my

husband. So I feel like we can talk about it openly actually. Wait. Oh, we all did it to our husbands and fiances, the glow up Danny, Danny. There's a reason that that yellow shirt caught my eye at the jonas brothers concert and i know you've blown up this man from the day the man the man that you met in the bahamas every single man of every single day you have to men can't do it alone they can't do it alone how how what are the secrets to this because we've we've all done it to our guys this is this is what happens like i love this yeah what are you proud what transformation are you the most proud of she pushes me to get to work out like to do that i do like because she's like you feel you feel too small kevin like i can't grab

i was like okay nothing more emasculating than that yeah no more scar she she was a hairdresser you always helped me like pick up the curly situation yeah because oh my goodness when he was when did you straighten your hair year 2007 oh my gosh i would be in the trailer with him and he straightened his hair and I cringed like oh my don't make me do this to your hair and I I hated when his hair was straight I just wanted him to be girl like but I couldn't tell him at the time because you're new like dating I'm like oh god it's like you get the ick with every straightened thing yeah and and I'm sitting there being like this is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me honestly she's like this is making me want to die i love it okay so we're

almost out of time but i have four fan questions that came from the lady gang community that are directly for you okay um number one can we get a married to jonas return you know we keep getting asked this question what's your thoughts on it is that something that people would want to see i think now yes absolutely i think it was too ahead of its time yeah i feel like we were a little our whole shtick was a little too nice for people but i think now they'd be like oh this is who they are i think that that's okay yeah people want that type of tv now too there's too much junk going on yeah i want like some good wholesome i want to see what it takes to get you out the door i want to see the long distance i want to see you don't have to show the kids but i want to see you

like getting ready to there's this great taylor swift tiktok that just came out of all the dads waiting outside the heiress tour in their like cargo shorts waiting for the daughters that's Like I want that good dad, girl, dad mode. I think married to Jonas is, is coming back. I think you call those, you call your friends at your network that has claimed to fame. We're on a writer's strike. They need a lot more. That's right.

They need a lot more reality TV. Okay. The next question is, what does it feel like to be the real superior Jonas? Oh my. You know, I don't know if I feel that way. I just, I'm happy to be here. um but i think i think everyone has had their own glow up in the right ways i think our biggest i think our as the jonas family and jonas brothers our biggest glow up and all of it is

we don't get into each other's business anymore ah yes and emotional yeah we just like we're gonna parent our way you're gonna parent that way we're gonna do our own thing you're gonna do your own thing of course there are pressures because that's what family is but we really all have said like yeah do it our own way and that's okay and now everyone like accepts that and it's been really healthy yeah is there a part of you now that they all have chilled now that they both have children where you're like you've been just waiting for this moment for them to like have those responsibilities and obligations they kind of they are definitely doing their things like we we like definitely don't give each other advice about parenting and family um but it was nice to

go through things first and then realize like you'll see yeah you'll see what it's like to get on a plane where your child is like don't leave me you know okay um danielle everyone every single person i swear to god thousands and thousands of people want to know would you do housewives of new jersey and if you don't answer yes you're done that is so funny she was asked i was of course you were asked but i think i would die in it i think they would like they would bring the lamb to the slaughter over there i know yeah no i think danny can hold her own i think she could hold her own i probably would say they're just laughing the problem is problem is i don't want to have to give them tickets to the show yeah yeah i'm just no it's the reality is it's that

might be too much too much yeah okay yeah married to Jonas yes housewives no got it good choice okay um Danielle very last thing sorry this is for you your favorite and least favorite Jonas Brothers song um hold on old song that old song like I guess because when I first met you like my my family friends that were on vacation with me they just kept on like they used it as a making fun of you thing yes they were like hold on but guess what guess what favorite um if you don't say the new single you lose point wife points yeah we need to plug it i was gonna say walls yeah she loves walls yeah vacation eyes yeah that's obvious you're like because it's my song
