Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around here. Each week We catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Welcome to Lady Gang. I'm Becca Tobin. Here with Brack Vanek. Brack Vanek. I've been up for like 85 hours. I know. Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight. And we wouldn't be doing this if it weren't our favorite person ever that's coming back
Starting point is 00:00:49 on the pod after Popular Demand. Yes. Pop, pop, popular demand. Let's waste no time. Yep. It's time for Good Week. Yes, it is. Bad Week.
Starting point is 00:01:01 Oh, no. I am very pleased with the species of males lately. The last couple flights that I've been on, I have not even had to ask. I've rolled my bag on, and some guy stands and puts my bag in the overhead for me. Because we're hot. And gets it down. What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:19 I've never had a man do that for me. It's because you're hot. For real? We're not hot. I mean, I'm not hot, and this hasn't been happening to me at all until now. So is it my mom vibes? Maybe it's your getting old. You look frail.
Starting point is 00:01:32 You look frail. You look like you need help. Well, I just want to say it's really, really, really nice. Yeah, it is nice. So all of these healthy, strong men out there, like, go put a woman's bag in the overhead compartment, okay? It's very nice. I mean, you know what? Especially, it's crazy when I see, like, a pregnant woman on a flight or a woman with a baby that doesn't get help putting her bag on.
Starting point is 00:01:50 A lot of times I've helped a woman get on the flight with a baby. I'm like, you hold the baby, I'll take your bag. Yeah, that's very nice. So many times. And then just men are just like standing around like a bunch of assholes in a cargo short and flip-flop on a plane. Yeah, amen. Sick.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Okay, so my bad week is that I did take Ford for his first haircut. And he was miserable the whole time. He panicked the moment the cape went over him. And we went to a place with the bells and the whistles and all of a sudden. Like you sit in the plane. He's sitting in a plane. He's practically like a Disney, okay? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:20 And he sits down, he's fine. And then the woman puts the cape over him and he's like, like, it's on fire. Like he's on fire. Then he proceeds to get the worst haircut you've ever seen. Because he was moving around so much. Because he was moving so much. And then Zach was like, an hour later, he goes, our son looks like the owner of the Rams. Oh no.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Oh no. Do yourself a favor. That has like, yeah. Yes. Like the little mini baby bang. No. Yes. So I, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:44 So that was, that was the bad week. Okay. So my good week is Jared and I go on walks all the time. we're trying to get our steps in, you know, and I started doing, we started doing this thing and we call it a wrinkle walk. So every time that we walk and do our walk around the Marina, we each bring a new fact that we teach to the other one. So you get like a new wrinkle in your brain. And I just think that that's a great thing to do for anybody that's going on a walk with anybody. Do you just Google interesting facts?
Starting point is 00:03:10 Well, I follow a lot of sea creature accounts on Instagram. So usually my facts are about sea creatures oh fun like deep sea creatures and like the weird things that they have on them so yeah that's my good week what's your bad week so we go on walks all the time and when we're on one of these walks recently we passed this guy he was in a suit with like nice nice shoes button up on the phone and as we passed him he goes to jared he goes nice man bun and jared turns around and he's like what and he's like yeah nice man bun welcome to venice bro nice man bun starts yelling at jared what we just keep walking away being like what the hell this guy proceeds to scream at jared about his man bun saying welcome to venice bro until we're drunk i don't know he
Starting point is 00:03:56 looked like he just came from work like i don't trust anyone wearing a suit walking in the marina it was so not a suit area of no it wasn't a suit area and it was like it's an area you go to play volleyball like it was very weird i feel overwhelming jealousy when i look at jared's hair so maybe that's what it was i feel exactly the same you know the guy didn't have great hair but like he screamed at jared for a good hundred feet like and jared was about to go back and fight the guy he's such a target remember the woman who told him to check his freckles yeah at the random like oh my god he's very jarring guys he's just beautiful well he had a precancerous mole so it was good that she said to do that you know yeah i love it okay um my good week is that you know
Starting point is 00:04:36 Chris and I have had an up and down kind of season and we're back we're back in love I mean we have always been in love but like I was a little frustrated when I was sick and I he's not good with sickness and no anyway that's great for when you guys get older it's awesome I'm just doing my best um so you know one of the things I said to him is like I was just I just need a little bit more like from you yeah you know like I just need a little more love yeah you love on all your clients i need some love and so chris has started tucking me in oh and i've never loved anything more in my life that's sweet he comes in like when we're watching tv even if i'm watching drag race and i have a blanket on he comes in and he makes sure the blanket's under my feet and then
Starting point is 00:05:20 when i go to bed at night he makes like everything folded down nice like he'll come over and in the morning he'll kiss me goodbye before he goes to work and he like pulls the covers up and like brings me the blanket that's fallen down to the bed and puts it up and i just chris knight i know listening right now in your car and I just love you so much. That's really, really sweet. Here's my bad week. Turn this podcast off so you don't hear this. So I had to go for a chest x-ray and they just tell you to not wear any deodorant or lotions or anything. They don't want anything on you. So I went for the chest x-ray and I've always believed that I'm not a BO person. Like I've never thought, even if I miss a deodorant morning, like I'm like, I'm not a stinky person. I am. And I was
Starting point is 00:06:02 like i don't really get stank and so i went and then you know you're you're in the i think you're i can't remember what i was wearing i think i had like a little like that what that robe the robey thing on or whatever and then they put down yeah the gown and then they put that thing over your ovaries so they don't like fry them with the machine or whatever and she does the she's like stand still to the front and then she comes over and she's like okay raise your arms above your head and she had to like position me and i raised my arms above my head you guys it was like the rottenest shit oh my god and i raised them up and then i was like this and then i i was so embarrassed that my pit smelled so bad and i was like i've never had bo like what is happening oh my god and
Starting point is 00:06:45 then the fact that i thought about this woman's job and i thought how many bad armpits she has to smell every day because you're not allowed to wear deodorant or lotion or anything or perfume you're just you're no nothing and she's just picking me up and then she's like putting me in a weird position to get the x-ray taken and it's just bomb bomb bomb bomb anyway i'm a stinky bitch and thank god for my loomy deodorant that's what i'm gonna say about that thank you loomy toasted coconut keeping those pits fierce that's what's up when we come back it's time to sing oh hot tip coming from you from our sponsor thrive cosmetics i just got sent their brilliant eye brightener. Starting point is 00:11:15 and streaming on Paramount+. Superfan. Now back to the Lady Gang. Our guest today is known for his magnetic stage presence and undeniable talent. He's a Screen Actors Guild award-winning actor, a Teen Choice and Gold Derby Award nominee, and his top-rated podcast,
Starting point is 00:11:38 And that's what you really missed is a smash and smashes those weird rumors like Lea Michele can't read as him and his real life co-star and bestie Jenna Ushkowitz rewatch all six seasons of Glee and also host some amazing people from the show, both in front and behind the camera. He's also the greatest, nicest and funniest human ever. Please welcome to the podcast, the love of our lives, Kevin McHale. I wrote that last sentence. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:00 What is a golden derby? I don't know. What is a golden derby? It was on your IMDb. What? That's amazing. Can't trust IMDb. Certainly not.
Starting point is 00:12:07 I think it's like, I have no idea, actually. So you're welcome. We can Google that another time. When you walked in, you were listening to me tell my bad week about my armpit or my armpit BO at my x-ray. And then you were mentioning that Becca once called you out on your BO. And I'd love to hear that story to start today off. Yeah. We were rehearsing a scene.
Starting point is 00:12:26 And it was hot. And I'm in, you know, sweaters all day. Yeah, you already wore a sweater. I think we must have been dating at the time. pick on the show so you were close to me and you were like oh i think you got bo and i'm like wait do i and i smelled myself and i did well i think no but i also think that i blamed a lot of it on the sweater and oh yeah but no you should for the record i'm a sweaty person And if I don't take care of myself
Starting point is 00:13:04 In those ways It will be odorous Mix that with an acrylic sweater For 16 hours You're in that for 16 hours And the thing that's really awful Is they don't have time to properly clean everything Because the next day you're in the same wardrobe
Starting point is 00:13:18 They just take a bottle of vodka And spray it So as soon as you start sweating in it again It just comes out They see that in our Rockette costumes too But it was a life lesson And because since then, I think about you and my B.O. Being mean to her all the time.
Starting point is 00:13:35 I just bathed before I came here. You smell great. You literally smell so good. Because it just made, you know, it's getting older. You age. You probably smell worse. Yeah. Quickly.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Yeah. And I'm just on top of it now because of that. I love it. And a good friend calls you out. A good friend does. You seemed horrified when I mentioned it, but I think it's great. I want people to do that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Well, I just was like, I don't know in what context I said this in. I don't trust myself at that age. You didn't, like, scream it, you know, out to the room. But even if you did, I wouldn't have cared. But you said it, like, privately to me. Okay. Well. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:14:10 Thank you. You're welcome. You're lovers, thank me. Lovers. We're so excited to have you. And the podcast is doing so well. And I have my own little question for you. What is it like to watch all your girls become mothers?
Starting point is 00:14:23 Jenna, Becca, Leah, like every one of the girls. It is wild. Yeah. It is really. It's wild. but also it's great because everybody seems so good at it yeah we're all good moms yeah it's kind of immediately like i i texted leah shortly after her son was born and i was like how's it going yeah like it seems like it's going great like from afar and like wrote me paragraphs and
Starting point is 00:14:53 it just that same sort of like calmness commitment confidence yeah and sort of this thing that you've never done before and all three of you seems very overwhelming but also not shocking yeah you all have like this a similar trait in terms of like you all get shit done yeah i need yeah if i need to trust anybody to handle anything the three of you can right we'll get it done in 10 times faster than i ever could we also had heather and naya become moms before us like they were like a little bit ahead of us so we could kind of watch them who also were are and were amazing moms like it's weird that all these crazy women are decent mothers yeah give it time well you know well because you hear of like this the actresses like them being so selfish and like oh my god and the
Starting point is 00:15:43 nannies are raising the children or whatever and it's like they are well mine i can't speak and i'm sure they are to a certain point but like you barely know the good i mean if you can afford it There's something sweet about, you know, being so swept up in Hollywood and then being so grounded. You know? I don't know. There's something there. Yeah. But I also think it's like a commitment to—
Starting point is 00:16:04 Excellence. Excellence. And, like, shit just needs to get handled. Yeah. Like, we just have to do this. It's not like having a kid through—I mean, I can't speak for any of you. But from an outsider, it seems like it didn't throw any of you to, my whole world is out of orbit, and I don't know how to handle this. This is just another—for lack of a better word.
Starting point is 00:16:23 thing to take care of yeah and it's like you your love is shown in one way of not letting it completely consume you and like yeah but as a you know way to enhance your daily life are you gonna have babies no never you've been saying this but i keep waiting for you to change your mind and i haven't wow because we're gonna be dinks all it takes is one time yes absolutely you walk through I want to go to an airport and see parents dragging children. I'm like, I can barely take care of myself. No, the airport is hell on earth. It shows the worst in humanity.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Yeah. Always. Yeah, the lowest lows for everyone. I think you have to really want a child. And that no kid chooses to be born, and you bring that kid into the world, and you have to really want that kid. And whatever capacity you're, if you're adopting, fostering, whatever it is, it's like you are choosing to take care of this kid. to raise this kid you that's on you i just saw an article on instagram which you know is like the most accurate definitely reliable worthy a woman was 102 she said the secret to her long
Starting point is 00:17:31 life was having dogs and no children just putting i believe it are you kidding we'll put it to the test okay kevin i want to take you back to wild child becca because we're now in mom era yeah like sweaters over the shoulders era oh my god and i'll be take me back to newly famous hollywood becca and tell us a story about your wildest night out with kitty wild wildest night out but the problem was i was probably wasted he was without a doubt amazing you yeah um i don't it wasn't like anyone was messier than anybody else i can sort of only think in broad this isn't what you wanted but yeah like group terms that we were all to quote high school musical we were all in it together you know like we partied hard but we did it together
Starting point is 00:18:25 and we also i think in that way it was safe oh yeah oh yeah because like it wasn't like we were going out places and then embarrassing ourselves publicly yeah we did it in ways where we could sort of control the situation and then we definitely weren't ratting each other out no everybody had like dirt on each other yeah we did like that bar in hollywood the woods remember the woods yeah somehow barely i know somehow we ended up there a lot of nights have you been there yeah on labrea at like a strip mall yes yes it's like the seediest weirdest weirdest place ever but somehow we had a lot of very very crazy nights there and i think that's probably why it was sort of off there's no paps going to the woods no i want to know a little bit
Starting point is 00:19:10 about because you haven't been on the podcast since you were on secret celebrity drag race which was incredible very exciting um i want to know if you have any tips for concealer that you learned because i think drag queens have the best concealer on the planet but also like what was it like and was it cool shocking to nobody i learned nothing that's the theme because yeah it is isn't because we got to show up and have they did you right everything yeah which was look i originally said no to doing it for a number of reasons one being i felt like i don't want to disrespect the art of drag i am not someone who knows how to do any of this yes and i felt like people that are probably going to commit themselves more to this should be doing it right
Starting point is 00:19:55 but then my boyfriend but they don't ask those people right yeah austin was like if you don't you absolutely have drag in your soul i agree you perform to many a female pop star's it was the most fun thing i have ever ever ever ever done and also was just like the gayest set ever yeah which is saying something yeah yeah and i've just never been on a set with a crew like that with the environment like that and you're also doing things that aren't comfortable i was in a corset i was in heels were you nervous no not at all jenna and i were sitting backstage once like before we had to perform at some point and i leaned over because i have terrible terrible nerves that's why i'm confused and i leaned over like are you nervous she's like no are you i'm
Starting point is 00:20:44 like no oh my gosh you're lip syncing it's what we would do when we were drunk together yeah it was the exact same thing it's also what we did on the show yes and so if there's one thing i can do is dance like a whore yeah and then somebody put me in like hot ass clothing and like beat my face and gave me a good wig yeah you're right what a dream it was the absolute and i didn't realize until i got out there the first performance i was like oh i'm born for this i can do this i love this like i have the sort of reality show aspect of it i'm not good at i don't know how to do that have very little interest in that however if someone wants to beat my mug for three hours and, like, tie me to a corset, I will perform.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Hell, yes. Play some Rihanna, and I will do whatever you want me to do. I love it. When we had you on before, we used to talk about, like, Hollywood heartbreak and ish moment, and we haven't seen you for a while, so I kind of want to know what's your newest ish moment, like when you felt like, okay, things are going well, maybe when you guys debuted at, like, what, number one for your podcast?
Starting point is 00:21:46 Or what is your Hollywood heartbreak? Like, has there been a role that you've been up for lately that you were like i was supposed to be this yeah like what was the most exciting thing postly that you were up for um oh my god so many things so many guys are the same yeah last year was particularly brutal oh no um from there was a five month period where i either tested or was down to the last two for seven things which hadn't happened like that you know you hope one or two in a year that's happy with that it was every couple of weeks my manager was like okay here we go again like didn't get the first one didn't get the second one didn't get the third
Starting point is 00:22:32 one and not these things that weren't necessarily good but two of them were quite good and one of them i really really really wanted what was which was like the seventh one it's this hbo max show that hasn't come out yet but because i got to play like a bitchy gay yeah and i was just good at it you were born to play in the words of rachel perry exactly and it was one of those things where i did like a chemistry test over zoom for two hours it was supposed to be you're gonna get on and read with two girls that's what they told me when i logged on i'm like okay cool whatever and then they like put you back in the weird zoom waiting room yeah and they come back after five minutes like hey we have like six more girls do you mind just like hanging out doing you're like
Starting point is 00:23:20 yeah i'm booking this job so i'll be super nice because i already knew i had like a friend who was like who worked on the show in some capacity yes and said there's only two of you didn't tell me who it was i'm like okay and now this like they're having me read with everyone yeah and i never you know we know better than to convince ourselves we got something yeah yeah but if anything felt safe to have some glimmer of hope. It was this. Do you think it f***ed you? They saw too much of you?
Starting point is 00:23:45 No. Who got it? That's always in the back up. What does their name rhyme with? Also, this person, who I'm sure is very talented, I had never heard of and have since been compared to
Starting point is 00:24:01 so many times. I even read a script where it said, think Kevin McHale slash this type of person. I'm like, who is this why are we being compared we're nothing alike we're just both white and gay is he from tiktok no one of the girls i i chemistry read with those from tiktok i got on i was like oh i'm friends with you on tiktok oh my gosh yeah that was weird but didn't get that and i knew one of the creators of the show was a drag race fan and drag race was airing at the time someone else on
Starting point is 00:24:32 the show might have worked on glee at some point and so i felt really confident was it what the happened it's a tale's oldest time i know there was a week after there was a thing that i was on hold for for five months and they called because they pushed the part back into a different season and then they called and were like oh no actually we went a different direction like cool so it was pretty brutal i was down for like months i was like i well for a while i feel like you weren't even putting yourself out there. No, and I have been really... Last year, my intention was to work really hard
Starting point is 00:25:09 at all of that, and it did seem seemingly sort of pay off a bit. Which is like, okay, I put in the effort and... It only takes one yes. I know. That's what I tell people. That's so hard. I mean, it happened to Austin, my boyfriend, two months ago. He had a...
Starting point is 00:25:25 It was like that within ten days. He had two tests and a movie offer. and then it all went away oh my god oh my god and like a brutal and like a really gross horrible way for one of them and then yeah it's brutal it's brutal yeah okay so keep smiling keep shining no okay um we have a game for you but i want to ask you two questions you can ask me whatever you want okay anything what is arty doing now um arty i feel like arty is like a really pretentious
Starting point is 00:26:02 indie film director and like does one movie every seven years. Like he could have, he's pissed he didn't direct Tar or write Tar. Yeah. He f***s a lot of hot bitches too. So many. Cheats on Tina all the time. All the time.
Starting point is 00:26:18 He's a terrible, terrible person. I forgot you guys ended up together. I think we did, right? Yeah, I think so. We haven't gotten there in the rewatch. Let me know how it goes. Have I entered the rewatch yet? Not yet. Oh, no, you'll know because we're going to call you. We're not there. We're not to Kitty Wilde yet.
Starting point is 00:26:33 Make it a good one. So now that I'm back in entertainment news, I'm realizing how many times there's like Melrose Place, the new Melrose Place. And like, you know, the Super Bowl, the new Super Bowl or whatever it is. Saved by the new bell. So it's clear that especially with this, with the writer's strike and what's going on, like we're at a standstill, you know, which go writers. But there are no new ideas. So we're months away, I'm sure, from Glee, and I'm calling it the new class. Would you go back as like, because Artie could go back.
Starting point is 00:27:09 If Artie's not a film director, you could go back as the Mr. Shoe for Glee, the new class. It's complicated. Okay. Feels like hot lava. I am on the record saying if there is a reboot, I couldn't play Artie because they should have a character in a wheelchair that's actually played by somebody that's in a wheelchair. Jenna has brought up that Artie's already established. Oh, yeah. What's the solution?
Starting point is 00:27:42 I don't know. I think Ryan Murphy could get creative and just say I'm related in some way. Twin brother. He does weird things. Yeah, he does. I mean, if anybody can get away with doing something strange. It's true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:54 So you're putting yourself out there for that? No, I'm not. I don't. I think there are more. People would rather see other people play the new shoe, I think. No, I don't think that's accurate. I think any of the original cast could come back. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:30:38 thins so as you all know baby ford entered the world in 2022 and i have created a really beautiful group of mom friends and something i learned from my mom friends is that one in two women over 20 experience bladder leaks that's right but you don't just have to be pregnant to experience it or to have had a baby this is something that so many women are dealing with and even though so many women are going through this most women use period pads to protect against bladder leaks but they aren't made for it so they don't work as well poise ultra thins are specifically designed for bladder leaks and they keep you 10 times drier than the leading period pad poise ultra thins are designed for leaks to help keep you clean dry and fresh and offer with and without
Starting point is 00:31:18 wings which helps them stay in place all day poise is here to make sure that moms can enjoy you're listening to the lady gang okay so i don't remember anything my memory is garbage dog shit and i think yours is similar yeah but you are a music savant so you may be good at this i don't know it's it's it's hard to say okay i have pulled up a few songs that were featured on glee uh-huh you're gonna get them if they're earlier seasons because you've covered them but maybe not i need you to yeah please be earlier seasons okay the first one what am i guessing here who sang them oh shit and maybe what season i don't have what season though here but i don't even think you're saying them who sang them okay take a bow oh rachel was there anyone else oh i mean there's
Starting point is 00:32:16 backgrounds there was two featured people but it's featured is a strong word and tina they're swaying in the background their voices are on those recordings yeah they get royalties okay fair all right you get that i knew that though alone one point alone is yeah oh such a good song jack and i'll sing it so you get it i never knew i loved until i met you wow nobody wants to hear us singing everyone used to be my audition song when broadway asked for like rock pop stuff you know yeah because you could smash that yeah oh my god guess what mine was before he cheats by carrie underwood that's why i never booked a job yeah but it's a great song i know if you can sing yeah well it's a bold song if you can't yeah bold any song is a bold
Starting point is 00:33:06 song if you can't shameless bitch over here shoe and um uh chris chenoweth i can't believe you got that okay you're right kristen i'm a big chris april april roads okay um love kristen rehab was vocal adrenaline oh i thought it was a pilot i've seen the pilot so many times can't fight this feeling cory finn yep nutbush city limits snakes what even is that yes i i my I literally, my head blew off my body that day. I had never heard that song before. What is this song? It's a Tina Turner song because she's from Nutbush.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Yeah, Nutbush City Limit. How does it go a little bit? Nutbush City Limit. How did they even find it? Why did they put it in? It was so good. I urge everyone, if you've not YouTubed Naya Rivera, Nutbush City Limits, it will blow your mind. Like, it's better than Rihanna's halftime show.
Starting point is 00:34:10 It is so, I mean, her doing any Tina Turner. They did River Deep and it was the best. Hide your love away. Was that? Oh, is this a trick question? No. You and me? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah, that's why I was like. You nailed it. I'm like, I think that's us. I never nail these things. Wow. You did so good. I had to do like a local news thing in Austin, Texas. Those are never good.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And they prepared this game. Oh, no. And they were like, our producers worked really hard. And I was like, I'm about to let you down. What was it? and it was about um tv theme songs oh that's hard i didn't get a single one right oh my god not one no live tv you're like i was comfortable with it because i was emotionally prepared to let them down yeah they were like this didn't work at all you're sheila's never producing anything
Starting point is 00:35:03 ever again well you are producing a hit podcast and we'd love everyone to go listen to and that's what you really missed. Um, it's absolutely fantastic. And I know you're already following Kevin, but if you're not, please follow at Kevin McHale and you're just so lovely. And it was wonderful to see you. And, um, you know, I feel like I want to say something deep here. I want to say something that Becca, some of the conversations she has with me. Yeah. I'm going to say this. I'm going to say that man's rejection is God's protection. And all of these no's are leading you to the yes and it's all gonna make sense because you're gonna be like thank god i didn't take that thing because i would have been out for this thing that's gonna be the
Starting point is 00:35:47 thing and keep doing the thing you're doing great i'm gonna bring you into the zooms next time like i just before i go i would like you to talk to kelty here she's pumping me up a little bit today you know what but look i mean it's i think it's something that everybody mocks is like the tenacity well no no no like the like teen young like stars when you're on a hit like it's like infamous that you go down in flames yeah oh yeah you know and you can't help it's like you make it a self-fulfilling prophecy i've done this my whole career post glee you're like okay well everybody's waiting to be like i remember six months after what are they doing now there's like what are they doing now six months later and then people screaming at me on the internet that i wasn't
Starting point is 00:36:35 relevant anymore so it's like every day well now i get it i'm not like the fact that it was like almost became a self-fulfilling prophecy and i think you and i have not to be not to like boast we are some of the most self-aware people from that show yes sorry everyone it's true ask around and i think that we got into our heads about you're right like what do we why would we ever be these people that rose from the ashes were those people that everybody talked were the cautionary tale and guess what we're gonna we're gonna rise oh wow wow name that song name that song oh god name who sang it i hate that wait is it roar didn't we do a rise wasn't that in the name of the didn't we do that probably okay well who knows later seasons i and i think to that point
Starting point is 00:37:28 i think i was also naive to think that we wouldn't be sort of um people didn't want us no they didn't and probably still don't no they don't and i was naive to think that we weren't getting like typecast and things like that you absolutely were typecast and to be honest with you not enough time has passed like i said this to becca all the time like yes one or two people of course like that's gonna happen but it you know it's just starting to come back around that the people that were on that show are allowed to have success again like it was too much right after and anyone that went and did things like they didn't they they did things but it's not like they were juggernauts like in your life as you're living it every year is very long yeah but in pop
Starting point is 00:38:10 culture oh yeah the years are very short so it feels like it was just the other day and for you guys you're like oh my god it's been so long and like but like because it's your real lives but for us it's like it's yesterday like we just saw you yeah you know it's true it's coming soon i was just gonna say we wouldn't have any sort of rewatch podcast without all of you no so you it was your guys's idea and your guys's idea to let us go on and rebrand and start all over it's better now so yeah thank you for your wisdom and your trust and you know allowing us to do that right very proud of you kevin we will see you next tuesday whoa thanks for listening the lady gang is produced by alex ingber steve delameter and jared monaco make sure you subscribe rate and
