Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, it's your Lady Gang, Jack Vanek, Kelty Knight, and Becca Tobin. Thank you so much for subscribing on iTunes, and thanks for supporting the great sponsors who make it possible for us to have this much fun with you every single week for free. Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around here.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to The Lady Gang. I'm Becca Tobin here with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight. Hello! Are we excited for today's episode? I'm so excited, but I just want to, like, start by saying something. What? You quit? No. No, but do you guys remember when we were filming Lady Gang TV and then Stassi was like,
Starting point is 00:00:46 what, you don't watch our show? And I was like, no. Yeah. I still haven't watched a single episode of Vanderpump Rules. I think that's fine. But I just, like, I need you guys to carry me. because i know i usually do the interviews but like i put right here like vanderpump gossip i don't even know what to ask i haven't watched any of the season yet have you i've watched a little bit okay so but i actually don't care so much about like this season as much as i care about
Starting point is 00:01:09 like okay what's going on without behind the season right you're right you know i just but i just wanted you guys to like i meant to tell you that and now we're on air but just don't like leave me hanging because i'll be like cool so um like i did read a lot of articles a lot of goss I did some gossip. Okay. Some gossip. Anyway. All right.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Well, now it's time for. Good week. Yes, it is. Bad week. Oh, no. Kristen's bad week is that Kelty's not going to know a thing about her job. But she has amazing haircuts. She does have great haircuts.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Like, I Pinterest her and I was like, oh, God. She has great haircuts. She really, she's really had a glow up on TV. But anyway, it's not about her right now. It's about us. It's not about her. It's all about her. Okay.
Starting point is 00:01:51 Who wants to start? I'll start. We're all looking at each other. So my bad week, I was working from my bed this morning. I got up. I made myself coffee, and I'm just, like, on my computer and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then at one point, I needed to raise my laptop because I was hunching over. So I put it on, like, this pillow.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And I reach over to grab the decorative pillow that I usually prop my laptop up on. You need one of those, like, cute bed desks. I know. Did Orly shit on it? No. You shit on it. I threw my cup of coffee. No.
Starting point is 00:02:27 On the white. I have a white upholstered bed. Oh, I saw your Instagram story. Everywhere. Everywhere. Did you have it? Coffee. Everywhere.
Starting point is 00:02:36 How do you get that out? Stanley Steamer, probably. I mean, this happened today. Like, pro-fash cleaning. So I did a thing on Instagram asking people for help. One of my friends suggested Shout, which did a pretty good job, but it still needs some work. And I really don't want to have to schedule. Like, nothing's more annoying than scheduling somebody to come.
Starting point is 00:02:56 They'll be there between 12 and 6. And, like, I'm going to be, like, yeah. You know, you can rent a rug doctor at, like, the Ralphs. I've done that before. But I don't even think it works that good. It's like the deep cleaning machine that you do at your selfers. Oh. I'm so mad.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Is it on your carpet or on your bed? That's what you get from working for bed. You need to work. You have that beautiful office space. But I like being in my bed in the morning. Me too. the morning but it's not always the best oh i'm so mad i'm gonna amazon you one of those like baby desks no please don't i have no room to put it anywhere you know it's like it's pillow on the
Starting point is 00:03:29 bottom desk on the top i used to have it when i was little yeah everyone did the beanie bean bag on the bottom yeah you can like write in your journal yes oh my god um i should get one of those so i can bullet journal in bed oh my god you're such a tool that's amazing idea i gotta make a list oh my god okay what else is new my good week have i talked about playing tennis before You talked about that you were taking lessons. And you're like Roger Federer or whatever. Federer. So I've been taking lessons with my amazing teacher Zoe.
Starting point is 00:03:59 She's British. She's amazing. And I go like – I try to do once a week. And Zach actually started coming with me if it's on a weekend. And I told my family in passing over Thanksgiving that my teacher had told me that I was one of her most consistent students. Oh. And she was also explaining that all these pro tennis players, it's not about how hard they're hitting it. It's all about consistency.
Starting point is 00:04:26 And so I was, like, very excited because I have never been very consistent or good at sports. Like, I did, like, gymnastics growing up, but I never did anything, like, having to do with a ball. Yeah. My plastic surgeon doesn't want me involved in sports where balls are flying at my nose. There goes your social life. Just quoted Clueless. Um, so I told my family and everyone starts laughing hysterically at me. Like, and Zach's like, oh, really?
Starting point is 00:04:54 She said you were her most consistent student she's ever had. I'm so sure. And he's like, she probably tells everyone that. And I was like, you know what? Go fuck yourself. So then I brought Zach to my lesson and he like whacks the tennis ball, but he has this shitty technique and he's not consistent. Not consistent.
Starting point is 00:05:13 And I was like, oh, Zoe, um, remember when you told me that I was consistent and she looks at Zach, she goes, oh yeah, she's one of my most consistent in 15 years. Consistent players. Oh, dang. And I was like, in your face, Martin. You may whack the shit out of the ball, but guess what? Roger Federer, he's not the hardest at hitting. He's the most consistent.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Boom. So proud of you. Boom. I just was so mad. Consistently knocking balls and knocking coffees. Yeah. There I go. Did you hit the coffee like a tennis ball? I just hate when people Yeah, I basically did. I hate when people act like I'm exaggerating and I'm not.
Starting point is 00:05:47 You're like, everyone thinks I'm exaggerating my talents, but I am this talented. I am so good at everything. Listen, this skill is going to take me nowhere, but I need to be good at something right now. But there's going to be, at some point, like a tennis Hallmark movie. She falls in love. Yeah, isn't that like a good sell for an actress? She moves to Palm Springs from the big city. Maybe I could be on a TV show.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Right. Where I play a tennis player. Yeah. I think I've been up for a role for a tennis player before. Do you wear like a skirt outfit? To the audition? No. To play tennis.
Starting point is 00:06:15 No. to the audition. No. Just a legging. Oh, I would do it for the outfit. Well, here's the thing. Everyone makes fun
Starting point is 00:06:22 of the people who wear the outfits because the people are in the cute, yeah, because people in the best gear and like the coolest outfits are usually the worst.
Starting point is 00:06:29 The worst players. So I like to be understated with my amazing consistency. Makes sense. I feel like you have to be like really f***ed and then you can get the skirt. Yes.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I have to be. Because Serena Williams wears a tutu, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. Like she can. Okay. Jack, you're next.
Starting point is 00:06:41 It's time for, Jack, I think I've said this before on the podcast shut up um i'll piggyback on your your whole skill good week yeah so i recently went recently went skiing and so i grew up skiing i was skiing from when i was like 5 to 15 then stopped and hadn't skied in like 12 years so i recently picked it back up again a few years ago i never am consistent with anything and with skiing i have gone like a lot in the past few years and i can like begrudgingly get down a black diamond but it wasn't until this last trip that i got down one like with grace and i was like stoked and i didn't hate myself going down it so it was
Starting point is 00:07:20 like quite a defeat for me a defeat oh not defeat that was real kelty moment no it was a feat whatever i'm proud of you yeah i am too good job jack yeah it's i mean it's cool skiing is so fun i'm annoyed why about skiing why because i would i'm interested in possibly skiing again in my adult life but now i see these girls on instagram with these outfits they're all fake it's a skin they don't even they don't even ski in them they put on their cute outfit super cute ones you can't a lot of them a lot of them don't even know how to ski they go there to take the photos oh there's this one blogger that always always is posted she's like a snowboarder i'm like there's no way that you're actually she probably doesn't these girls look so cold it's like a unitard no
Starting point is 00:08:05 I wear the baggiest, like, bulkiest, because I don't like being cold, and I'm like, there's no way I'm going to wear it. Well, then maybe I'll still ski. I have some decently cute ones, but any of the ones that are, like, they look like the skin-tight ones. Yeah, like a wetsuit. Yeah, but you have to be, like, spring skiing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Jack, do you have a bad week? So my bad week was, I went skiing all day, did not fall, and I go to the distillery in Mammoth after to have a drink, and number one, for anybody- Wait, you went to, like, someone to have a drink? That's crazy. I went to have an apricot. Wow. Is she?
Starting point is 00:08:35 To anybody that hasn't skied before, walking in ski boots is the most annoying, uncomfortable thing in the entire world. And they're very slippery. So I was walking to go to the bathroom. Slipped. Walking, walking, walking. I do one of those slips that's like out of a cartoon where it's like the guy slips on a banana peel and like my foot goes up in the air. I like am like airborne for a bit, land on my back. My head lands on a corner and I think I might be slightly concussed.
Starting point is 00:09:01 And the worst part of it was I thought Afton was like right in back of me. And you know when you embarrass yourself when you fall and you, like, look back to your friend and kind of laugh? You were alone. I was alone. And everyone was staring at you. And there was a bunch of moms looking at me like I was, like, a f***ing idiot. Were you drunk? No.
Starting point is 00:09:16 Oh, that's great. It was my first drink. But, like, it's so funny that you're, like, charging down a mountain. Skiing down a mountain. You're fine. And you can't walk to the bathroom. And then I can't walk. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:09:25 That's okay. I made it. I can segue to that, to my bad week. Look at us. So, you know these new scooters? The electric scooters? Yeah, birds. Whatever they're called.
Starting point is 00:09:35 They're everywhere. All right. So I decided I was going to walk to a shoot I had. It was like within walking distance of my house. Had my ear pods in. I almost died courtesy of Spencer Pratt. What? Because I love to watch Spencer Pratt TMZ videos.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Okay. No one owns TMZ like a Spencer Pratt. He's the best. He just like knows how to work it and he always talks to them for like 15 minutes. Yeah. Like, he's never, like, actually going anywhere. Like, anyway. So I was watching Spencer.
Starting point is 00:10:06 He probably finds where TMZ is and, like, calls them. I'm sure he calls them himself. And I'm like, can I have the number? Love it. Anyway, so I'm, like, looking down on my phone like an idiot. And I'm literally watching Spencer Pratt. And then, like, three dudes on the things come. And they're like, watch out.
Starting point is 00:10:21 And I was like, ah. And then I almost got in this accident. And it was all Spencer Pratt's fault. So entertaining, Spencer. Good for you, Spencer. Anyway, good week. Now, I want to preface this by saying, preface this by saying, both of you are going to make fun of me for this good week. She's yawning.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Oh, my God. I was wondering what was happening. Sorry. No. Sorry. I was yawning. You're going to make fun of me for this good week, and you're going to think that I'm doing it because I want to self-promote myself. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:10:49 But that's not my purpose. I just want to say that. I want to just – Good Week in general is that so many wonderful things have come out of the Lady Gang, especially the Facebook group. Every day I see someone doing some nice gesture for someone else in the Facebook group. And so I just wanted to mention one that the Lady Gang did on behalf of the Lady Gang and how it turned out because I just thought it really warmed my heart. So there's this girl named Catherine in the Facebook group, and she had posted a picture of this, like, really nice wool sweater. Her grandpa is old, has dementia, and is always cold. And she was like, I really wanted to get my grandpa this sweater for the holidays, but it's out of my price range.
Starting point is 00:11:32 Has anyone seen anything that's, like, a little more affordable? And I think it was, like, $120. Like, it wasn't a $1,000 Gucci sweater, but it was, like, expensive, you know, for a grandpa present. And so I was like, you know what? Like, we do things with Lady Gang where we'll send money or support someone, like, all the time. We kind of just don't even mention it. Like, if you know, you know you got that gift from us. But, like, we don't really talk about it.
Starting point is 00:11:53 But I was like, you know what? This one's good. So on behalf of Lady Gang, I sent a message to Catherine. I was like, hey, like, we would love – thank you for being such a fan. Like, we'd love to get the sweater for your grandpa. So we sent her $120. I didn't tell you guys this. But we sent her $120.
Starting point is 00:12:09 dollars and she posted last week in the facebook group the grandpa in the sweater no and she's like oh my god he hasn't taken it off since christmas oh he's so warm he loves it he can't stop talking about how much he loves it and he's already filled the pockets with all kinds of trinkets and like you know grandpa's like always have like a stick of gum and like a tissue and his pen and like there's like pockets in the front anyway he's so sweet and i was like i all my grandparents were like basically dead by the time i became an adult and i really missed out on like just grandpas like you know what i mean and so i was just like this was so special and i wrote a message to katherine i was like oh my god like just drink him in this is so incredible and he she was like you know he
Starting point is 00:12:54 doesn't really remember me and then i was like so sad and but anyway we did a good thing that's good And I'm glad you did that. That was sweet. That's it. It's very sweet. That's the good. Really? You're not going to make fun of me?
Starting point is 00:13:04 No. We never make fun of you for doing nice things. I thought you were going to talk about something about your Instagram followers. Or like being in us weekly. So I'm thrilled. Yeah. That was like actually a pleasant surprise. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Thank you for that. Who's coming? A pleasant surprise is coming up next. You're listening to The Lady Gang. Our guest today has grown up a lot since her crazy Kristen days. And the internet is live and well and covering every moment of her fabulous life. I looked on the internet. I found out what she eats when she watches Watch What Happens Live.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Usually Taco Bell. This time she was eating some chips. All the different levels of shortness a bob haircut can come into. All the different ear levels. And mostly every moment of the Vanderpump drama. She's also appeared on an episode of Lady Gang television and became an instant meme for our show while double fisting and playing Wasted Facts in my living room. Most importantly, she is also, like the Lady Gang, a People's Choice Award loser. She's got her own clothing line and a brand new wine, and she's here to get drunk with us.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Please welcome to the Lady Gang, Kristen Doody. Doughty. Doughty. Shit. I knew I was going to screw it up, and I even wrote a pronouncer. You are forgiven because— Doody. Will you text me that whole paragraph?
Starting point is 00:14:20 Do you feel good about yourself? Yeah, 2019 Kristen feels pretty good right now. I'm so excited. So, in typical Hollywood starlet style, Kristen has arrived without the wine. She's like, I'm bringing wine. My publicist is bringing the wine. Drink it on the way. So, we are going to begin, and then halfway through, we'll pour.
Starting point is 00:14:39 I'm really sorry. And we're going to taste test you. What's the name of this wine? No, I'm excited for you. This is your wine, correct? It's myself and Katie and Stassi. Cool. The Witches of WeHo.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Love it. With Knocking Point Wines. And so we decided to be very ambitious, and we named it Potion No. 1 because that just leaves us a plethora of potions to work with. What type of wine is it? Pinot Grigio. And that is like homage to Stassi's infamous line with, well, yes, being a basic bitch. And then I'm not really sure what I've done to you, but I'll take a Pinot Grigio.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Like her little slam machine way back in the day. So we're like, we have to start with a Pinot Grigio. And then on the back of the bottle, we have that quote. Now, are you allowed to be, name yourselves the witches of WeHo? I mean, Schwartz named us the witches of WeHo. I wish I could take credit. They are the witches of WeHo. They really are.
Starting point is 00:15:32 How's it been being in business with your friends, though? Well, I mean, it's about to launch, so fingers crossed. Godspeed. So leading up, it's been fine? Leading up, it's been fine-ish. Yeah. For the most part, I mean, I think we're all, like, we're all just so excited and it's not our only project we all have our own thing yeah so we're kind of like this is a passion project
Starting point is 00:15:52 and hopefully it sells like casamigos did right honey that's that's where we're at with it out there oh hell yeah well now we could juju that i mean are you guys you guys are good well you guys are in business together and you're good yeah we are yeah but we didn't really start off as friends though so we didn't have like the whole friendship way to knock me down i know here you guys also have like vanderpump's rule i mean vanderpump's rules vanderpump's work in a sense it's your job yeah so it's like you guys have worked together yes and that goes as well as it the show goes you know you can like push through anything i have two business questions as the mom of the friend group yes a can you sell the wine in the restaurants tom tom and sir and all like pump and
Starting point is 00:16:37 all these places so when we start selling it really soon um it it'll be exclusively through the knocking point wine club okay until we sell like a certain amount of cases and then there are like tiers that we'll go through but our goal again is like get in the restaurant we started with potion number one yeah to get potion number nine four or five a tequila 100 yeah oh this is pretty isn't that so cute oh my god we had our very first we don't have a wine What the hell Wait up the publicist Yes
Starting point is 00:17:11 It's not her first rodeo Not her first rodeo We literally had our first meeting about the label And went to the Belmont in West Hollywood The bar that we frequent And we were like We need to make the label like right now And we got drunk
Starting point is 00:17:28 And much like when I do My James May designs It was like let me get on Pinterest What do you guys like What do you guys like? We had a Pinterest board and we made the label in like an hour and a half. Into it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:17:40 That's exciting. Congratulations. We're very excited for you. We're about to taste it, so stay tuned. You guys are the first ones to ever try it other than the three of us. For real? Yeah. I haven't even had it since the day we chose it.
Starting point is 00:17:51 Really? Oh, I'm excited. Now, do you remember shooting Lady Gang TV at my house and having warm drinks? I do remember. Do you want to explain that? Because a lot of people didn't get this inside joke because it aired on the show. And when you were like, I had warm rosé, and everyone's like, huh? Why?
Starting point is 00:18:08 Do you want to explain it? Basically, we got there, and you guys were doing Aperol spritzes and or Prosecco. And Stassi was like, I want an Aperol spritz. And suddenly, the Prosecco is gone. And there's no ice. Yeah, and I don't think you guys realized the amount of drinking. We under- Yeah, and Kelsey's like, I don't have ice.
Starting point is 00:18:26 I didn't even have ice on my machine. I would have picked it up in an Uber. I know. It was a mistake. It was a mistake. Well, you know, it was a season one. Season one error. We had no control.
Starting point is 00:18:35 We had no air. It was really just, you know, the people that were working with us. Yes. And they underestimated. And Kelty's grocery shopping. Yeah. Well, they underestimated the Vanderpump rules. They did.
Starting point is 00:18:45 Your producers underestimated us. I know. Well, A, we didn't have enough booze. Two, before we moved into our house, we had to get the termite thing where they tent it. And then apparently you're not supposed to use your ice maker for a year after that because there's still like deadly fumes in your house. So that's why I never use the ice maker. I feel like that's a myth. It's probably a myth.
Starting point is 00:19:03 but also get some trays you know no now i have trays i got them it's fine now i have ice i'm making ice coffee warming party the next time you come over this is for ice trays but i also think and want to thank you for being so iconic on the meme drink because she's oh yeah i have one sip i'll have one try it okay i'll have one give me like a little bit she's on pain meds i'll give you a little from my face um i just want to thank you for the meme the meme is important the meme of you, double fisting is more important than the meme of any of the stars of Lady Gang TV. It's actually, it comes up
Starting point is 00:19:38 a lot. All the time. And E uses it all the time. Like on their social media. Shout out to E. Yeah. No kidding. You're an icon. I wonder how many memes and GIFs there are of me over the last like seven years. So many. Oh, drinking, please. I mean, there's more
Starting point is 00:19:54 of that than anything. But you're literally like you're like. You didn't even do it on purpose. No, it was like a mistake. Okay. Cheers. Cheers. I'm so excited. Don't chug it like a shot. The inaugural, oh, no, I'm not capable. This is an exclusive. You have it tasting, ladies.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Okay, what are you supposed to do? Smells nice. Fruity. Fresh. Through the paper cups. Swirl it. For all the wine I drink, I have no idea how to taste wine. You know what?
Starting point is 00:20:18 This is good. It is good. This is good. It does not have an aftertaste, which I appreciate. It's a really, like, easy white wine. Yeah. Pinot Grigio, it's light, it's dry. Yeah, but sometimes it's a little.
Starting point is 00:20:28 It's like I said, it's not sweet. It does not taste cheap. Yeah, this doesn't taste cheap either. Is it going to be cheap? How much is the bottle? It's going to be inexpensive. That's a really good question. Are you going to be like Dorothy from Rich Kids of LA when she came in and told us that she had a really inexpensive bottle of champagne coming to market?
Starting point is 00:20:46 It was like $49. $60. It was $100 or something. It was something like that. I was like, oh, okay. And we're like, oh, that's actually the top of the line. Look how much my t-shirts are. Like, I'm not trying to go, like, crazy, like, you know, $80 a shirt.
Starting point is 00:21:01 They're, like, cheap. They're, like, $30 to $45. Yeah. But this is good. I mean, that's what we got. We are, too. Exactly. We wouldn't sell a $100 dollar one.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Because I want people to drink it. I want people to buy stuff. And not everyone can afford what the New York, L.A. rich kids can do. Yeah. Or the housewives. 100%. Or the housewives. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Well, congratulations. This is good. Very cute. We're going to drink it. My question is, let's go back. back, back, back, back, back, back, back to the People's Choice Awards because we were disappointed that we lost. I mean, not really.
Starting point is 00:21:31 We kind of expected it. But like there was, and I mean this with love, really no one in our category. Do you know what I mean? I completely agree. And I'm pretty sure I may have texted one of the three of you that I was definitely sure you would win based on that. But it was like kind of, it's cult podcasts. Like Chicks in the Office, they're awesome.
Starting point is 00:21:49 But they have like a cult. Massive cult following. Tanya and The Scrubbing Inn, they have a cult. But it wasn't like, you were up against the Kardashians. Yeah, and had to sit at the table next to them. If they chose to show up, we knew that they were going to win. Yeah. And if they didn't win, honestly, I thought it was going to be Queer Eye anyway.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Who else was in the category? You know, like us, Queer Eye, Kardashians, I think RuPaul, and then maybe like one other person that I don't remember. Oh my God, I probably actually voted for RuPaul. It's just like when you're up against the show and Kardashian-Jenner clan, they showed up right before the category was being announced. Because right when I saw Chrissy Teigen, like, get ready to go on stage, and then they all showed up to the table next to us.
Starting point is 00:22:29 The seat fillers got up. I'm like, oh, no. Here we go. Here we are. We're losing. It's fine. Can we talk about Chrissy Teigen fangirling over you guys? Over you guys.
Starting point is 00:22:37 I love her so much. That was the best moment of my night. Explain what happened. It happened to you. Explain what happened. Well, I actually saw Chrissy the day before at, like, a Becca Cosmetics event that she had. And it was the first time I had ever actually met her.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Like, we've, like, DM'd. We've, like, slipped into each other's DMs. I know it's exciting she probably does let's talk about that but she we saw her at this Becca event Brittany Cartwright and I who's on Vanderpump Rules and she started
Starting point is 00:23:06 freaking out and then I started freaking out and then we all started freaking out and so then I was like word vomiting and I'm like I'm wearing Revolve by Chrissy Teigen tomorrow at the People's Choice Awards that's nice I know she was like what cool I'll send you a bunch of stuff and I'm like I just
Starting point is 00:23:22 love you i'm sorry like i paid full price and then she told me that she was announcing her category oh yeah so cool but she like came off the stage couldn't have cared less about kardashians and ran to you guys ran she was taking fan pics with you what the best part about it is that the tables were like it was really good it was the 10 it was like a 10 top a 10 table and i watched her it wasn't like she came over and she picked her favorite like one person she wanted a picture with the entire cast she worked the entire circular table she did it in small groups But first she came to me. No, she did.
Starting point is 00:23:54 She came to you first. The girls. She did like the girls the most. And then she went around, but she took pictures of everyone. And then she was like, oh, James Kennedy's at the other table. I'll just stay on this side. It was amazing. She said that?
Starting point is 00:24:04 No, I mean, it's just what happened. That was my narration. That was my narration. Drama. Was it crazy to sit so close to the Kardashians, though? Do you see them a lot in the reality world? I've seen them. I've seen three of them one time in real life.
Starting point is 00:24:18 And it was like an up-fronts thing many years ago. And they had just like, I don't know, like five security guards each. So that was that. And we were like on that quick carpet. You do it up front. And then they, we were on it. And then they came. And then, yeah, literally it was like, okay, they're like, move, move, move, move.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah. And that was it. And so we were like taking photos of the, like, castles. And like, Chris had her big glasses on, like sunglasses. There too? At the up front? She had them on stage. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:24:45 The people's choice. People's choices. She had the big sunglasses on. And then they were all just on their phones the whole time. And we're sitting here, like, holding hands, like, by yawning. Like, I hope we win. I hope we win. Maybe they'll just say our name.
Starting point is 00:24:57 I know. Oh, my God. Well, anyway, sorry about – Be humble. Do you – were your parents proud? Were you like, Mom, I'm nominated for a People's Choice Award? Hell yeah. And we were, like, nominated to be nominated for an Emmy.
Starting point is 00:25:07 That's a big deal. Really? What? We were, like, nominated to be nominated. Yeah, but that's still, like, a big deal. But wait, can't you nominate yourself? I mean, that would be – I think that you can.
Starting point is 00:25:17 I think – Can we nominate ourselves? Yeah, I think so. You put in for your own Emmy. I will nominate you. We'll nominate you and you nominate us? Yeah. Cool.
Starting point is 00:25:24 None of us can vote. That's lady gang right there. That is lady gang. We're definitely doing it for ourselves. We already have the highlight reel ready. It's mostly me. Just change your Wikipedia page right now and just be like. Emmy nom.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Yeah, Emmy nom. Emmy nom for a nom. Exactly. Nominate for a nominative for a nominative for a nominative. Best performance in a losing role at the People's Choice Award goes to. Can we tie? Yes. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:46 It's very important. But I actually, you know, in my. Really quick, Kelty. you guys were nominated before you even had a show to be fair ours was for the podcast so we've never our show is still a non-nominated
Starting point is 00:25:58 show no awards, no nominations well we did right here we were an official honoree at the Webby Awards well that was for the podcast too right no TV honestly we can't get like anyone to write about our television show
Starting point is 00:26:13 it's like it didn't happen and now it's off for a while It was like, well, we come back in March, but we're hoping that these reruns people discovered us. Yeah. But I will say I'm getting a lot of DMs about people discovering us over the holiday break. Oh, actually, me too. I think it's I think we're hot.
Starting point is 00:26:30 When did you know that Vanderpump was a hit? Were you guys a hit like right off the bat? Yeah. Tell us about your rise to fame. When it aired season one, because we tricked everyone. How do you trick everyone? Because it was a seamless housewives to Vanderpump rules. I remember that.
Starting point is 00:26:46 so it was like you were hit right away oh there we go yeah oh that was so smart none of you guys were actually on the housewives right
Starting point is 00:26:53 like as like I mean we like waited at like Kyle Richards house and like Lisa is like you know boring little peasant servers that
Starting point is 00:27:01 Matruda says who we will always be in Lisa Vanderpump's eyes love it doesn't matter how many Chanel bags Stassi carries
Starting point is 00:27:09 we will be peasants forever I kind of love that so much I do too nope it is what it is but yeah so we were like on the housewives
Starting point is 00:27:19 like here and there just like extras basically I remember that that was really smart and they did the seamless transition so our first season did really well also it was just very we like had no idea what we were doing Stassi and I were talking about this the other day I feel like maybe like her sister
Starting point is 00:27:35 or her boyfriend Bo like asked us like what was season one like hard or do you guys remember being like weirded out by it and I'm like oh Stassi's like no it was fine I'm like alright bitch you've been on like four reality shows
Starting point is 00:27:46 was she in more before Vanderpump yeah she was on Queen Bee on Nickelodeon or Nick Teen or something excuse me what
Starting point is 00:27:54 what is that it's like a super it's like a bunch of like young bitches that like if they become nice then they like win money and they also live
Starting point is 00:28:02 in a house together like I'm not a preface for a show that's amazing so she did that and then she her family was on do you think she won
Starting point is 00:28:10 maybe no and then what's the amazing race her family was she's been on TV since like
Starting point is 00:28:18 birth she was like 17 oh so she didn't really know but were you freaked out for me yes and no
Starting point is 00:28:24 like I was around everyone I was super comfortable around so it wasn't a big deal but it was more like Becca actually what you
Starting point is 00:28:30 and your husband Zach the one night we had dinner we were talking and Zach was like it's kind of weird when you have to do
Starting point is 00:28:35 like you have to walk in and then kind of re-walk in because they have to get the right shot and that's not a fake thing and it's not
Starting point is 00:28:41 a produced thing. It's just there are things into making a television show. And that was the stuff that freaked me out. Yeah. I'm like, what do you mean? Did I walk wrong? Am I, my posture is bad? Like, what did I do? Yeah. So that was the stuff that freaked me out. But everything else, you know, it was
Starting point is 00:28:58 kind of easy. Was there ever a moment where you're like terrified of what either your family was going to see? Every minute of every day. Really? Since the pilot. Are you still feeling, do you still feel like that? Absolutely. Wow. Do you ever have to call your parents and be like, just so you know?
Starting point is 00:29:13 Don't watch. Luckily, no. My mom, like my family, my sister, my brother, my dad, whoever, they're just like, we get it. It is what it is. Right. We know, we already know all this stuff. It's coming out later. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:25 My grandmother wrote me a handwritten letter, like season four. Oh, you disappointed grandma. See, after season three, like a four-page handwritten letter, and it was like, I just wish everyone knew that Kristen would do this and that, whatever. I can't watch this anymore. And I'm like, yes, you should have never been watching it to begin with. We talk about hookers and drugs.
Starting point is 00:29:47 My niece and nephew, well, my niece can watch it now because she's 22, but my nephew's 13. He's not allowed to watch it. When he was like, I think he was like 8 or 7 or 8 years old and he went into school and told his teacher that his aunt
Starting point is 00:30:02 is on a TV show and she does adult TV adult movies so he's not going to watch it because he's a kid and I'm like now your teacher thinks I'm a porn star because that's what I always tell him I say it's adult content like it's adult stuff so you don't get to watch it until you're an adult
Starting point is 00:30:16 now I'm a freaking porn star it's okay alright so give us the like scoop give us the rundown like how's everything you can be vague because we're like not really on time how's James Kennedy give us any gossip you want to share that's my wish I just like fast
Starting point is 00:30:35 forward through his scenes. I can't. Yeah. I just fast forward through it. He's painful. He's extremely painful. Painful. It's another form of torture? Yes. It's not fun reality TV. It's like evil. Yeah. It's too embarrassing. The rest of you guys are so fun and
Starting point is 00:30:51 like lovable. And I feel like you all, I mean maybe you had said this or Stassi had said it where it's like you at the end of the day you all respect each other so it's like you're doing your job and you're fighting with each other but you still love each other. Even when I hated Jets I still was like, you know what, when I hit it
Starting point is 00:31:07 Ariana, I'm like, she's bleeding out for the show, she's doing her job. Yeah, you're all like sacrificing a lot for what you're doing. But him, not him. Did you ever hear the story about, so Jackie Schimmel has the bitch bible? Did you hear about that? Oh, absolutely. Her prank calling? Yes, you did. Oh, absolutely. Gloria
Starting point is 00:31:23 from LACMA? Tell the story, please. I don't know if she ever got to air it technically, because I think she did and then had to retract it, but I have it tucked away in my email, because she is, Jackie shimmel is the gift that keeps on giving she's so funny she pranked called she pranked called james kennedy as gloria from lachma and she wanted to do an exhibit based on this music
Starting point is 00:31:46 video that he did many years back where he like pours paint all over himself and like confetti in a shitty alleyway in like ghetto hollywood i know exactly which alleyway would like it's so bad and he was so into it she was like okay like i'll have you know my people call your people and this is the right number to reach you on he was so excited he was like i'm famous i made it prank call i wonder why somebody like him why did she have to pull it down because it's like deceit well you can't air someone's phone she didn't wasn't it a phone call yeah she did and then he would like brian seacrest he's like you're on the radio recorded yeah yeah legal damn it that is hilarious but i'll forward it out on over to y'all i think a lot of the
Starting point is 00:32:33 ryan's roses are actors though yeah yeah i think yeah i don't think it's real people don't break my heart i love ryan's rose i feel like at this point who doesn't know about right like you know what i mean i feel like catfish too yeah i feel like that yeah when someone calls you but people are still catfishing people all over the place but like on the show or like on ryan's roses or on things like that it's like at this point calling you it's like who yeah who's knee who Who doesn't know Ryan Seacrest? Yeah, exactly. And who's going to fall for it?
Starting point is 00:33:00 We're a brand new flower shop. We want to send a free bundle of roses. Somebody of your choice. And they're like, oh, really? Wow. Okay, that sounds great. Who is she? Is she your wife?
Starting point is 00:33:09 Who is she? Oh, she's not your wife. Interesting. Yeah, no. Fake. Okay, so because you're here and you're the queen of Bravo, I'm calling it. Oh, thanks, Kelty. No problem.
Starting point is 00:33:22 I have prepared a special quiz because, as everyone knows out there, I do not watch reality television. Only RuPaul. That's the only television show I watch, which is technically a competition show. Okay. That is a correct assessment. It's a correct assessment. They could be the voice. But you, Becca, and Jack all do watch a smackling of reality.
Starting point is 00:33:44 And so I have prepared a reality show quiz. It has to do with housewives and pump rules. and I'm going to see who gets the most correct. Like which housewives? Me neither. No, some housewives. It's all. I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:34:00 Okay. Becca's going to, she's going to slide. Here's what it is. You have to call out the answer. If you know it, there's no buzzers. First person to call out the correct answer gets the point. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:09 Are you ready? She's going to just be like, Bethany. Probably. It's probably right for one of them. Okay. There's, okay, there's 12 questions. Okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:18 Here we go. Ready? Starting with something easy. what was the first location orange county for the real housewives correct jack i'm also trying not to look at your i know don't look at your paper i'm trying not to it's like when you play like cards with people no no no i'm holding it back here i'm holding it back here i'm holding it back for me i'm holding it back here okay but okay i've got a point it's because you're from there yeah oh yeah i already got your point because i literally went to school there's
Starting point is 00:34:45 your point okay yeah who was not an original member of the oc cast in what see like who was the first to join as um was the first gretchen no vicky no vicky's og tamra oh wait who is not an original who was not an original shannon a famous non-original no famous non-original Tamra was season one. There's a lot of famous ones. Kelly Dodd. No. Kelly Dodd is not an original.
Starting point is 00:35:18 She's not. She's not who the answer on this trivia that I found online is. Camille Grammer. Nope. Was she an OC? Oh, sorry. No, she's Beverly Hills. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:26 It rhymes with Ville. Ville? Ville. Dill? Kill. Oh, my God. Okay, well, I'm canceling this question. Jill?
Starting point is 00:35:35 Jill? Brandi Glanville. Oh. She wasn't on OC. She was Beverly Hills. Who is not an original member of the OC cast? Yeah, obviously. I screwed up that question and I copied it from the internet.
Starting point is 00:35:47 You are correct. She was not an original of the OC Housewives. That is the circumventing of that question. That was a problem. That was a problem. Okay. Okay. Shanna Shea has a tattoo.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Sheena. Sheena. Oh, my God. I knew that. She's been on the podcast. Kelty, I love you so much. It's hard for me. I wish she was on our podcast.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I pronounce nations are hard for me. Okay. Sheena Shea has a tattoo on her arm. What does it say? It's all happening. Oh, good. Correct. We also have a matching Trouble Cleft tattoo on our wrist that we got at a gifting suite.
Starting point is 00:36:17 A gifting suite? No, you did not get a tattoo at a gifting suite. Wait, did you get it done at the gifting suite? Done at the gifting suite. Honestly, that's a pretty great gifting suite. Yeah, I wasn't mad about it. It's usually garbage cosmetics. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:27 So, you know what? YOLO. Did they give you choices or did you have to pick like one of five? It was like you could get a really small one. Oh. And so I was like, oh, there's pressure. There's a line. I want it right now and leave.
Starting point is 00:36:40 So I said, Trouble Club. She's like, me too. And then we did it. Oh, did you not mean for it to be a matching one? She just called you? It was fine. Okay. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:36:47 It's just permanent. Yeah, no big deal. It's just till you die. Okay, question number four. Are you ready? Becca, I'm disappointed so far in you. I mean, you can't even get the questions right. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:36:58 How am I supposed to answer them? Okay, this one's for you. Okay. What location of the series introduced the world to Bethany Frankel? New York. New York. Jack was first. I like hearing the full question because I think that...
Starting point is 00:37:10 Jumping in. Yeah. Jump in if you can. Stassi has a bachelor's degree. What is it in? English literature. Correct. Jumped on a random thing.
Starting point is 00:37:19 See, idiot. Excellent. Good job. Very smart. If I didn't know that and someone else did. I know. Fired. You're asking at this point.
Starting point is 00:37:28 Hmm. Does Bethany order to go to sleep in one famous on-screen? Kelly Ben-Simon. Correct. Excellent. That's the best scene of Bravo history. I had nothing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:37:38 No idea. Remember Crazy Kelly? Here we go. Jax Taylor has done some pretty crazy things. Shoplifting sunglasses. No. But he's also served in the military. Which branch?
Starting point is 00:37:49 Navy, and it's not true. Excuse me, what? It's not true. He was not serving in the Navy. He went to PT for five seconds, and then he left. He also did not go to Michigan State University. I read one more article about, where did everyone go to college on Vanderpump Rules? Did he say he did these things?
Starting point is 00:38:07 Yes. He said that when we first met Jax, he told us that he was deployed when he was in the Navy. I don't think you can lie about being in the Navy, can you? Well, he technically was enrolled. He just never served. That's shady. Okay. Kristen will drink about...
Starting point is 00:38:25 It's like me signing up for a flywheel, but not going and saying that I did flywheel. Oops. You take a picture outside a flywheel and then you put a glass of water on your face. Yeah. yeah tiny towels so hot so hot put a good glass kristin will drink just about anything you put a glass of wait i gotta read you this what kristin will drink just about anything you put in a glass but she won't eat mayonnaise no olives no meat correct that's so i mean i thought you were gonna say drink and i was like did we talk about this about me
Starting point is 00:39:00 jack has never heard this before on the lady gang here we go okay what year did the real housewives of dc premiere i didn't even know there was i did not know that either there is not a house 2012 2016 no 2010 yes correct becca so they're really helped did it last more than one season i think it just lasted one or two and a half it wasn't great okay getting down to let's just recap jack has two kristin has four becca has two oh here we go pressure's on in one of the episodes lisa got to the restaurant in a very different matter how did she get to it of course scooter correct oh my god how did you know that that was that was yes such a good guess i mean it could have been you could have been like bentley oh no porsche oh no wrong one she's done all those
Starting point is 00:39:49 Jaguar? Yeah. Wrong one. Two more questions. Becca. In my defense, you're asking personal questions like where is Dossie's mole on her inner thigh? I never ask that. Obviously, Kristen's going to know these answers.
Starting point is 00:40:03 I'm sorry. These questions are all stolen. All of these questions are stolen from BravoTV.com. Really? Yeah. Except for the one you got wrong. Well, actually, I think that one was supposed to be a multiple choice, and I just took out the other answers.
Starting point is 00:40:15 So that was my ish. I skimmed. Here we go. Number 11 Which housewife is Gone with the Wind Fabulous Phaedra
Starting point is 00:40:23 No no no no Nope Shit It's someone from Atlanta It's Atlanta NeNe No No it's not NeNe
Starting point is 00:40:29 No Candace Nope Not Phaedra Nope I don't know anyone Wait I can see her Okay
Starting point is 00:40:37 Kenya Yes correct Shit Jack couldn't have a guess On that one I love that moment Gone with the Wind Fabulous
Starting point is 00:40:45 I say it all the time Such an epic gift So good okay now this one is a multiple choice oh okay so you're gonna have to say no you're gonna have to say a b c or d okay are you ready so fast ariana and britney have something in common which of these is it do not answer until it's are we gonna shout it out at the same yes okay no once i open the floor okay just go they both have a horse a they both have one sibling b they were both cheerleaders c d they both worked at hooters people have a horse hooters a oh my god
Starting point is 00:41:22 i have the worst thing to tell you what i didn't write down the answer the answer is a they both have a horse i didn't know britney yeah in kentucky is that the real truth yeah she's a giant i forgot to write the answer i just jackson britney kentucky all you see are them horses okay well in a shock to no one that'd be so awesome if ariana worked at hooters though can we make that the truth i mean i'm into it me too congratulations you are the winner you are the official witch of weho thank god i know more about the rules than you guys did you can remain the witch of weho it would have been sad all right when we come back we're gonna fix your life hey ladies get funky ask the lady gang so before we fix your lives yeah we also need to tell you
Starting point is 00:42:14 the genius that is this wine bottle. Underneath the epic quote from Stassi, the ingredients are listed, and it is the tears of your exes, Mazel Tov. They're sad because we're so hot now. We had a real glow up. We really did. All of us in our TV shows. I'm waiting for them to text her every three years.
Starting point is 00:42:33 So good. You make it sound like it's one person. I'm waiting for all of them to text me. Do they ever? Sometimes. That's so odd. Do your exes reach out? And they're like, hey, I'm on a TV show with all of them.
Starting point is 00:42:45 I was going to say, you work with all of them. Oh, yeah. But what about, wait, how old were you when you started Vanderpump? I was 20, well, I was 24 when I moved to L.A. And then I started Vanderpump, I think I was like 29 or 28. Well, then you had like some exes prior. Yeah, have they reached out since, I mean, you know, like right around Christmas time when people start Facebook messaging you.
Starting point is 00:43:09 That's what I'm saying. I look forward to it every year. But I don't really pay attention. Yeah, yeah. But then sometimes, like, I'm curious what they're doing, and I'm like, I'm doing better than you. Yeah, exactly. It's always a competition.
Starting point is 00:43:19 It's a good feeling. So I feel like I probably reach out more than they do. And by reach out, you reach out, or do you do, like, a stalk? A stalk. A stalk. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're not actually, like, messaging much. Making contact.
Starting point is 00:43:27 A clean Insta-stalk. Okay, Jack, all right, you ready to save some lives? I mean, I don't know if we're going to save any lives, but okay. Maybe. You never know. All right, our first question comes from Engagement Envy Has Slapped Me in the Face. She says, I've been with my boyfriend for five and a half years
Starting point is 00:43:43 And I know he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with We've been together since we met At the end of college when I was 21 And I'm now 27 Recently I've had a lot of friends get engaged And set wedding dates All of whom have been with their significant other for less time I know in my heart that I am so happy in my relationship
Starting point is 00:43:59 And it really shouldn't matter if I get engaged tomorrow Or the next year But if I genuinely thought that Why am I feeling literal aches of jealousy In my stomach oof but they're all gonna be divorced you guys talk first i mean that is a while to be together but you are still very young so i think that just deep down when all these people get engaged you can be like that's great when i'm on my first marriage you'll be on your second 100 that's
Starting point is 00:44:30 I saw a meme the other day, and it was like, being 32 and single is just really skipping my first divorce. And that's pretty true. That gives me hope. Thank you. Thank you for that. I mean, it is important for you to get married, and you've communicated that with your boyfriend. And you guys are in a place where it makes sense. Then you can also say to him, like, shit or get off the pot.
Starting point is 00:44:58 because sometimes there is something that happens with people who stay together for too long and don't get engaged or don't make that yeah like you get to this like weird threshold where if you don't make the next step you kind of do this holding pattern and then it's usually a pretty bad
Starting point is 00:45:14 like ending after like 10 years of wasting the best years of your life but I do think 27 is so young oh it's still so young but for some people they want to get married at 27 especially depending on where she lives it could feel old
Starting point is 00:45:30 there's so much pressure to get married straight out of high school my thought is this life is long and marriage is longer and so you know I know that everyone and I definitely felt this way too both times I got married
Starting point is 00:45:46 but like you feel like this rush like oh I want to be married and then you get married and you're like well what now we're just going to be together for the next 50 years like I like that your death do you part a hundred percent it's real but it's it's real it's like what are we gonna do for the next so it's like I don't think there's like such a rush like I actually think it's really great you're young and you've like had so much fun in your 20s together and then your 30s can be like engaged getting married like I you know I think you're on a good
Starting point is 00:46:13 time zone and it's like you can't compare yourself to other people because you're you might be in a different place of life than other people are and you will but you shouldn't yeah I mean everybody is going to, but that's going to always be the thing that's going to eat you away. You need to go to a whole bunch of terrible weddings so you know what not to do. What you don't want to do and what you don't want to waste your money on. Destination, honey. How long have you been with your boyfriend?
Starting point is 00:46:35 Three and a half years. And I'm old. Are you wanting to get engaged? I don't know anymore. Oh God, sorry Carter. I don't mean like that, but I'm just like, two of my best friends just got engaged. My other best friend got married two years ago.
Starting point is 00:46:51 I feel like Stassi's going to be engaged, married, and pregnant before I'm even slightly engaged. But I don't feel the importance of it like I did when I was 30. When I was 30, I was really like, oh my god, I have to meet the man of my dreams.
Starting point is 00:47:06 And when Carter and I first met, I was like, this is it. My knight in shining armor. I bought myself a fake engagement ring six months after we met. Literally, I did. And I wore it. I really like this trillion cut stone i've never seen it before and i wore it all the time oh my god and now i'm like pump
Starting point is 00:47:27 the brakes yeah we fine yeah i think it's nice getting older too because you do realize that a lot of that is just like you know bells and whistles and it's a lot of bullshit it's a lot of fomo well it's like pressure that you're feeling from everyone else but i do think like as a woman i watched so many of my girlfriends get to this place of like it's around 30 where they literally it's like musical chairs they sat on the first open chair because they were so petrified of being 30 and alone but the ones that didn't do that and like push past it are like in really great relationships and they're in they're like mid-30s and now they're secure and not desperate so the guys that they found have been way better than the ones that my other friend
Starting point is 00:48:16 settled on yeah a hundred percent way better yeah write that down put it in our book okay well i i can't i don't have a pen i have a pen right here transcribed yeah okay okay next one yeah thank god for everyone forever our next question comes from lady gang lover oh she says hey girl so i've been seeing this guy for about two months and basically he has a crazy ex don't they all that is apparently in love with him she wasn't really his girlfriend per se just somebody that he was seeing the way he seems to have treated her and talks about her concerns me he makes it out that he was just using her etc how do i know that he's not doing the same to me you don't know whoa first of all when men call their exes crazy run away yep because we're all crazy we are but
Starting point is 00:49:06 it's not our fault it's their fault thank you but like crazy because men are assholes that's my thank you yeah we weren't born crazy i've never acted crazy towards someone that returned my phone calls and like didn't stick their dick in other people while we were together but it is a fair statement to say thank you like his ex probably was crazy but it was his fault yes just like you might go crazy because it's his fault it's always so funny hearing a story from a man in a situation like that because it's like oh she's crazy she's ducking me like she's doing this and this she was so insecure it's like yeah because you were probably a piece of shit yeah like and you probably treated her like a psycho.
Starting point is 00:49:42 And the second she stopped stalking you, quote unquote, you were probably stalking her. Texting her, wondering where she was. Making her more crazy. And also, I do think it's a big red flag when he's like, she was so crazy and I just, I don't know, I was just using her for sex or using her for a house to sleep in or whatever. I don't think he would tell his own girlfriend that.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Why would you want to be with someone who's like, babe, I was just using her. Like, I was so not into her. I was totally using her just to bang her and, like, use her to, like, whatever the reasons were. Like, what? Yeah, no. Like, he's a winner. Winner.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Dick. No. I am higher, baby. I mean, the one man who ever called me crazy was the one man that treated me like garbage. Yeah. That was the craziest I've ever been. Only one? Yeah, just one.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Isn't that crazy? I think I've only had one man not treat me like garbage in my entire life. Yeah. Same. Yeah, he treated me like garbage. Same. So dump the guy. Is that our...
Starting point is 00:50:37 He's over. Yeah. consensus yeah okay or maybe here let me be the devil's advocate break up with them and then say i'm just using you know maybe he thinks crazy to anybody that asks that's great yeah but here's the other thing he might think that it's it like helps you feel less insecure by being like i wasn't that into her like you know it was just convenient like he could have been madly in love with the girl but he's not going to tell you that that's true so he might think it actually sounds better to make her seem
Starting point is 00:51:08 like minuscule so maybe ask him she's nothing like you is basically what he's maybe trying to say but sometimes they're morons so maybe just ask him and also maybe just be very perceptive to any other red flags exactly because that's not the best thing
Starting point is 00:51:24 to hear so if there are other things that are kind of f***ed up then yeah like PhD of psychiatry I like it don't give us that much clout I didn't even finish college. I didn't.
Starting point is 00:51:39 I lost all of my knowledge. Yeah. It's all gone. I can't even add it anymore. Because you don't really get it there. No. Well, all right. Last question comes from My Roommate is Unhinged.
Starting point is 00:51:48 She says, I moved to Boston from the New York area last year, and I haven't had the best luck with roommates. Granted, I found them on Craigslist, but living alone is expensive, so it had to be done. I moved in with this girl in July. She was perfectly nice and polite. The apartment is adorable and affordable, and she is clean. I was not looking to be best friends I just wanted to be cordial and respectful of one another
Starting point is 00:52:08 Last night when I came home from a long day at work She bombarded me as soon as I walked in the door She screamed calling me a rude selfish bitch Because I don't ask her how her day is And I turned the thermostat down Without saying anything I am floored I'm not rude to her
Starting point is 00:52:22 I always say hi back or ask her how her day was if she asked me I definitely try to keep my distance In order to avoid waking the beast I seriously don't know what to do I want to just FYI I shortened this there was like a whole other list of craziness but I just gave you that because it was a good taste of like what we're dealing
Starting point is 00:52:38 with. Do you remember anything else that she said she did? I think it was just like single white female I don't know it was just like nutso and her boyfriend and then I walked into my room and she was straddling a bad roommate sucks a bad roommate sucks
Starting point is 00:52:54 maybe you're just not a match maybe she's not single white female but maybe you're just not a match what are your star signs? look it up I don't know But she sounds a little stage five clinger for a roommate who's not, like, your BFF. Your friend. Yeah. A little unstable.
Starting point is 00:53:08 I don't think you should be a BFFs with your best friend. Never. I know you've always done that, Jack. I've actually had really good luck living with my best friends. I've never had any sort of, like, crazy shit happening. But I have quite normal friends. But I, like, yeah. I can, like, I loved her the best friend once and she yelled at me when I locked the door.
Starting point is 00:53:24 Because we had, like, a no locking the door thing, which is, like, insane in New York. Like, your front door? Yeah, we had, like, a doorman. So, like, you couldn't get up there. But, like, the door to the apartment, she never locked it. I mean, we owned nothing. So it's like, what are they going to steal? I mean, it's like somebody can murder you, but.
Starting point is 00:53:38 That's true. Sure. I mean, I think we locked it at night. And he was just like, did you lock the door? And I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We need to chill out here. So what really happened that day was that her boyfriend pissed her off or a guy she was trying to date pissed her off. And then she came home and took it out on you, which is probably what is similar to that.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Maybe that's what's happening. Or is she single, white, female, and you guys don't get along? She has no – okay, the girl that wrote, our fan, Lady Gang listener, you have no obligation to have to ask how the girl is every day. Like, that's the most bullshit thing ever. But are you turning the thermostat down? Because I'm cold. You know what I mean? Should you maybe decide on the thermostat temperature?
Starting point is 00:54:19 Maybe they should get a new thermostat, like a Nest one or something, where they can, like, control their – Yeah, maybe you need a space heater. You know what I mean? Maybe you should buy your space heater and be like, I'm sorry, I run hot. Amazon Prime, real quick. It's true. Fix it tomorrow. Sorry if you're cold.
Starting point is 00:54:32 Here's some slippers, you know? Like, Chris turns down the thermostat, and I'm about to divorce him. It's the middle of winter, and I'm like, I can't. No, I don't want to be cold. I get very cranky when I'm cold. I get so cranky. Me too. Not for me.
Starting point is 00:54:42 And also when you're too hot. I get really cranky when I'm too hot. I need to be in within this, like, five-degree temperature. So that is a fair complaint by the way. So we're like, so the thermostat, we agree. I mean, this girl just obviously sounds like she might be imbalanced. Yeah. maybe it's time
Starting point is 00:55:00 to look elsewhere because when you're miserable in your living situation it's terrible I can't even count how many times she's gonna take
Starting point is 00:55:08 everything out on your list like the roommate is gonna take everything out on the lady gang listener like how do you
Starting point is 00:55:14 even date then or how do you have other friends if your roommate is taking everything out on you and they're not putting out
Starting point is 00:55:19 so like what there's no benefit you can find another roommate it's true you're gonna have to buy lots of bottles of witches
Starting point is 00:55:25 of weho drunk in your room by yourself okay little entrepreneur Thank you for saying that. Where can everyone get their wine? Where can we get the wine? There's a website, right?
Starting point is 00:55:34 February 1st. February 1st. Because it comes out soon. Coming out soon. It's not available right now. Okay. Wait, but when is this airing? Yeah, this is airing on the 22nd.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Yeah. So it won't be out until February 1st. Okay, got it. Are you not announcing it yet? This is like the... Well, we've sort of announced it on Instagram and whatnot. Oh, fine. Okay, so February 1st.

Yeah. And it'll be on our Instagram, which is Witches WeHo. Cute. Because someone took Witches of WeHo.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Who took that? Someone with, it's like an egg. You know, like an egg on Twitter. I hate people. Oh, you can get it. I'm going to try real hard. Yeah, you can get that. If you have it, I want it.

Starting point is 00:56:24 Which is so cute. James May. Thank you. Yeah. James May, we launched in June. We've now launched a fall line, a winter line, new spring coming soon. And that's jamesmay.co. Because it's named after your nephew?
Starting point is 00:56:38 Nisa Nafio. That's so cute. Oh, that is cute. I love the title. Real cute. You're a real lady boss. Thank you, Marissa. We're still doing it.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Doing it. Yep. So much more than a server. You know what I mean? Look at you now, mama. Look at her now, Lisa Vanderpump. Server. Server.
Starting point is 00:56:54 She's got that. Snap. So my next feat is to – I'm just going to go into TomTom with, like, a case of Witches of Weho wine and just, like, put it up there. Yeah. Without even asking. Oh, like, Katie – You have to have keys to it, right? Well, they have to.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Your hubby owns it. Like, let's do this. Oh, yeah. I'll climb in through the window, whatever it takes. Great. And let's film it. It's very on brand. Let's film it.
