LadyGang - LADYCRIME IRL: Keltie's friend is almost murdered!

Episode Date: August 20, 2026

Jac brings in true-crime queen Alexis Linkletter — co-host of The First Degree, host of Crimes of Reddit, and author of the upcoming Between the Devil and the Tide — to help unpack a wild..., real-life case Keltie has been sitting on. It starts with Tammy, a caftan-clad Bel Air socialite who survived a slow rat-poisoning at the hands of her first husband, and spirals into her second act with a much younger "security guard" named Craig who isolated her from friends, convinced her to sell off her fortune, secretly married her months before she died, and inherited everything. Is Craig a calculated con man or just wildly opportunistic? The girls dig into the red flags, the mysterious ex who called him "dangerous," and how you'd even pull off a poisoning, before Alexis coaches Keltie on how to actually investigate — and turn this into a proper follow-up.We have deals for YOU!!Arya: Want to spice things up in the bedroom? Starting point is 00:00:00 It's time for a quickie. Podcast One presents The Lady Gang, The Hollywood Girl Posse with Lady Gang Quickie. Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Let's make this quick. Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to The Lady Gang Quickie. It's me, Jack, here with Kelty.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Obviously, Becca is not here once again. She is with little baby Meyer in the NICU, but we have a very special guest. my favorite person in the entire world, co-host of my other podcast, The First Degree, Alexis Linklater. Welcome to the Lady Gang. Ladies, thank you for having me. I'm so delighted and surprised. No, this is wonderful. Have you been on before? Yes. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You were on. Was it the last time that Becca? It was last time Kelty was out. So it was me, you, And Becca, I think.
Starting point is 00:00:52 So I'm a little guest when y'all are busy. I know. I love this. I have a question for you. You have a new show. Yes. About crime. New podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:03 A new podcast. So you got Jack's podcast, First Degree, and then you have a new podcast that's Crime Crime? Yeah. It's called Crimes of Reddit. So it's about Reddit crimes. Is there murders or is it just crimes? Yeah, there's murders. There's a really famous Reddit situation that ended up in a murder, so we covered that one.
Starting point is 00:01:25 So yeah, it's a lot of interesting crimes. Honestly, I was stunned that there were so many crimes on Reddit, but apparently there are. There's everything on Reddit. Anything that you could ever ask for is on the deep, dark web of Reddit somewhere. It's wild. So today on this episode, I'm going to tell you about a crime that I'm the first, I'm actually the second degree of, but it's someone that I knew and know, and she died, I think because of the crime. I'm not sure. It's unsolved. And I, I want to get your take on it. But first I want to ask you, Alexis, you are like, and you have a book coming out in January. Yes. Yeah. It's called Between
Starting point is 00:02:03 the Devil and the Tide. Go pre-order it. It's about Alexis's whole 10 year investigation into the Long Island serial killer and all of her personal things that were happening during the time. There's a lot of tea in there that I know our listeners are very interested to find out. so the tea is hot the tea is how did you become the crime girl i don't know i don't know i think jack had something to do with it because i was working as a like true crime tv producer and jack and you and becca had like blown up lady gang already and i was like hey jack how about another podcast and she's like no alexis and i was like yes the crimes well she came to me she's like i think i want to start a true crime podcast and she's like i want like some advice and i'm like
Starting point is 00:02:43 well, why don't I just do it with you? So the advice, I don't even have to give you advice. It's just like all part of the thing. So that's how that started. But like you, when you went into true crime TV producing, it's not like, I mean, we were into true crime, but not insanely into it. I was pretty into it, but yeah, no, I just sort of, it just led me there. I don't know. It's a very strange like path. Yeah. I don't know how I became the crime girl and will I always be the crime girl is the next question. Yeah, you're the crime girl now. No, you're like wearing exclusively socks loafers, glasses, and like talking about crime. You're like a hot crime girl. You're like what Olivia Munn was for like gamers back in the day. You're like a sexual woman who
Starting point is 00:03:26 does crimes. And look what happened to her. She has it figured out. Yeah, she really does. You've got this. Okay. So here's my crime. First of all, I do want to let you know that I'm going to use fake names for a couple of the people because I actually am nervous because I'm going to start at the beginning of the story. But the last time that I interacted with the story, I had written someone that knew this person that was involved. And the comment I got back, the DM I got back was, I would just be careful because this person's very dangerous. So like, yeah, it's scary. So you believe them when someone says that, because it's just like, why would you? I don't know this person.
Starting point is 00:04:10 You know what I mean? Yeah. OK, so I'm going to take you really, really, really far back. And the story begins with like a story told to me this person I met later in my life. But this all happened before I met them. OK, so I'm going to name the main woman Tammy. so there was a woman named Tammy and she was a socialite and she was older than us and she was like a rich sort of trust fund Beverly Hills Bel Air woman and she was deeply into real estate so
Starting point is 00:04:52 she had made her success in millions by owning she had this big house in Bel Air and but she also owned all these apartment buildings and all these buildings. And then she got into very high end luxury real estate. And that's how I met her. I met her because she owned a big real estate company and I had worked with a realtor that worked at that real estate company and then became friends with his friends. And like they all kind of became friends with her. She was their friend, but she was also like 15 years older than them, like a little bit of like a matriarch, mother figure, kind of Mentory, like very, but she was like very old school Bel-Air where she kind of was overweight, very bleach blonde hair, like caftans at dinners with like jewelry, extremely like Birkins, like just very like rich, rich woman. I can see it.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I can picture it. Like you're painting a great picture, honestly. She's like Bel-Air. She's like, she's not. The caftans help. she's not not attractive she's not not attractive but she's like older and probably was a smoke show many many years ago okay so she is someone who goes out and they go to the same there's like I don't know about them but there's like Bel Air institutions and Beverly Hills institutions like
Starting point is 00:06:17 crustacean and these places that like spa go and like all the rich people go and you have your table and you've got your person and that you go every day for lunch with someone different at 2 p.m. to Spago or whatever. So there was a restaurant. I'm fuzzy on the details, but there was a restaurant she went to all the time and she ended up getting a crush on one of the waiters. And we're going to call it younger. We're going to call the waiter Sam. He was younger. He was an immigrant. He was Thai and he was like hard on his luck kind of guy. And he would always wait on her and they ended up falling in love or she fell in love with him. And he just saw this like rich woman as a way. Look, I don't know if they ever were really in love. Like she kind of has sugar
Starting point is 00:07:08 baby. She's wrong with her. Something's wrong with her picker. Okay. But anyway, they get married and they're married for like 20 years. This is way before I knew her. So they're married for 20 years he never works again and why would you yeah and at some point in their relationship she this is a very long story so i'm but i'm doing a good job i feel like you're telling the crime like we need all the great jobs okay so at some point and this is before my friends knew her as actually lies so my friends knew her at this point they were all in on the uh real estate and they traveled with Sam and Tammy on different trips. And, you know, she was kind of paying for everything that he's living in their house. But like I asked them, I was like,
Starting point is 00:07:59 what was he like? And they're like, he was just kind of there. Like he wasn't there was nothing where you were like, oh, this guy is like creepy or bad or whatever. Like he wasn't like their favorite, but he was just kind of there. Right. So she starts getting sick and it's unexplained sickness, which I know you guys see in these true crimes all the time. So she starts poisoning, a slow poisoning. So she starts getting sick. She's not feeling well. She can't get out of bed. And again, she is not the picture of health, at least when I knew her after this. But she she was like a pasta eating over like she's not going to Pilates in the morning. Right. Like she is she's an overindulgent kind of rich lady having her fun having her memories at those restaurants
Starting point is 00:08:47 yeah yeah thank you so you know they're like oh it's your heart it's your whatever so she goes to the doctor over and over again and they cannot figure out what is wrong with her she's sick she's sick they're worried about her she's like her eyes are bad like all these things are happening. So finally, she goes and demands to have like all of her blood work taken. And I'm so sorry that I don't know the detail on this, but all of these things happened like on the same day, which was she was going to get her blood or blood results. And she got the results and the results were rat poison. And she went home to her home
Starting point is 00:09:32 and Sam had fled the country. Okay. He felt it coming. Felt it coming. So there's so much more to this story, but this is the backstory. So he flees back, gets out of the country before she can press charges for attempted murder.
Starting point is 00:09:51 She is being poisoned with rat poison, which is so like, i now here's the story where i want to stop how does this work like you just buy rat poison you sprinkle on people's foods like my my crime experts how does a rat poisoning happen yeah it's really really really really really deadly but i think when did when did this happen because i think they make rat poison harder to like now it's like in a box that the rats go in many years ago so you could probably sprinkle it on shit now they make it harder like now they sell these things like they sell these you see them around restaurants these big black boxes that rats poison
Starting point is 00:10:28 is in is in it it's hard to like open that and extract it and put it in human food or something right they make it a lot harder but back then i think you could buy like a bottle of it and people would kill animals with it like their neighbor's loud dog like you've heard stories like that it's harder though but you can this feels like this was happening like early 2000s and I felt like it feels like it was like one of those like you know cartoon things where there's like like the little sprinkle of rack poison and has like the crossbones on it and he's like putting it in the smoothie or whatever you know totally okay so he flees the country and she's like oh my god he was poisoning me and she goes to the police and she was like
Starting point is 00:11:11 I'm being poisoned. They get divorced and he is gone. Like he's just out of her life for all of these years. At some point he comes, he has no money. Like we don't know where he is. He come at some point, and this is fuzzy again, because this isn't part of my story. He comes back and he gets back into the country and he gets arrested and he goes to jail. And he has now served his time in jail for attempted murder. He had a whole trial. There was like all of this. And now he's out. He's back out in the world. I have no idea where he is, but like he's back out. Fine. So she goes on and continues her life, has all her buildings, has all her zillions of dollars. She's still friends with my friends. And she recently, like in the past five years or eight
Starting point is 00:11:59 years, has fallen in love again. And this is where the story gets absolutely insane. We're We're going to take a break. She's fallen in love again with a man named Craig. Craig is, we are confused because Craig is very young. Like Craig is kind of like our age maybe a little older and at this point now this is a woman in her like late 60s 70s you know what i mean so she is like it is when you see them together you are you think that's
Starting point is 00:16:32 her son yes did you know how she met craig i do not know okay and so she loves him she loves him loves him and he starts sort of infiltrating her life and getting her to get rid of all of her friends. So he causes problems with the real estate partners where they're like, and she's like, oh, I don't want to be partners with you anymore. She used to do like card nights at her house and now she's, so he's like isolating her. Okay. So this is like first thing you're like, whoa, this is crazy. And I just knew her from friends. I had played cards at her house a couple times with my card group. So is this happening when you knew her? This is now when you know her. Okay. So this is when I know her. This is after I know her. So I know her and then I never see
Starting point is 00:17:23 her again because she's now been isolated by this guy. So over the years we're hearing, I'm like, oh, are they still dating? And my friends are like, yeah. And it's just so crazy because like, it's getting really serious. I think they're going to get married. And I was like, are you serious? And then the friends are like, I know, but we keep trying to tell her this person is like, obviously trying to like steal from you or something. Like, it's weird because I was like, well, does he sleep over? Like, are they in a real relationship? And the friends tell me no, because he is allegedly now, I don't believe this for anything. Allegedly he's a security guard. That's his job. And he leaves her house where they live together every day at six o'clock
Starting point is 00:18:16 to go to work. And I'm using air quotes and he works the night shift. And then he returns at like 9am the next morning. He's never slept over for a full time. He's never done any of these things. And so I'm like, oh, well, it's obvious he has a wife somewhere or like a family and he's like, says he's going to work and he comes to her house and pretends he's in love with her and he's going to like rip her off in some way. Yeah. Okay. So that is so obvious. But what gets wild is then he takes her on a trip with his parents weird and this is where i'm like oh he's obviously like a con man right but no no because he's on she's on a trip with the parents and i was like what do you mean he she met the parents no they all go on a trip together and are they
Starting point is 00:19:12 his real parents well this is this is what i need the crime people to find out i don't know and i'm like are these people in on it are they the real parents are the parents in on the con and they're acting but he's like this is my girlfriend I love her and it's like this 70 year old bel-air woman wearing a caftan like I'm I'm so confused about how that meeting goes but that puts like it's an interesting piece in the puzzle because you're like well maybe he was in love like I don't know you know what this is sounding like I'm more and more picturing like I wonder if these were the first types of meetings that Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron had when they first started dating where it was like obviously I don't know who these people are who are these I mean well he was
Starting point is 00:19:57 the French much younger when that was happening the French president and his wife who are like 30 years apart yeah it wasn't like you know the crime because yes there was a crime oh I mean he was like pre-teen but we don't have to get into that on this episode we don't have to get into it But it's just reminding me of the age difference. Okay. It's reminding me of that. It's super weird. And this is like, you know, I've seen pictures of this guy.
Starting point is 00:20:22 He's like not a bad looking guy. You know what I mean? He's not my type, obviously. Okay. So you're like, oh, this is so crazy and strange. But then you meet the parents and you're like, oh, I don't know. This is like so weird. Family guy.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Yeah. So then he starts convincing her to sell off all of her assets. So he's like, I really want this insane car or whatever. And she's like, well, I don't really. A lot of people, when they're really rich like that, they're rich, but it's not like cash on hand rich. it's like it's rich because you own 40 apartment buildings that are worth this money so she starts selling off parts of her sort of collection like her monopoly pieces you know and he's like oh i want this and i need money for this and i so she is selling her wealth off for like millions of
Starting point is 00:21:25 dollars and then giving him the money. So we're like, oh my God, this is crazy. And what's crazy about it is that the people I knew were all like in the will, you know what I mean? For her, they were like really good friends. So he's selling off all this stuff and they're like, oh, this is really getting like out of hand. So we are very confused by this all. So then she gets sick and she dies oh and you're like well she wasn't in great health to be honest with you like she was old she was old by the end of this like did he kill her the way that this other guy did sam did i'm not sure like i don't know if this is an attempted murder but what's really interesting is that when they family went to go do the will craig and tammy had been married three months
Starting point is 00:22:19 before she died legally there's a wedding certificate and she had signed over her entire will to him everything so he's now gonna get everything he's gonna get the bell our house he's gonna get the money he's gonna get the everything and again they never spent the night together but she he did invite her into the parents like this has got to be a long con like so there's a few more parts of the story so i question does she have any kids or anything or any family is sort of advocating for there's some family there's some family like i think it's like a brother sister no is a brother sister there's there's family involved maybe it's nephew's i'm not sure there are people because i know i'm sure that there is family that haven't talked to her that want some of that money that
Starting point is 00:23:09 will that are coming out of the woodwork now yeah there's like a whole lawsuit situation where like so okay so here's where the things here's where the things get interesting i am like there's no way this guy is who he says he is no and so i asked my friends for the name of the guy and this is actually before she died and i knew they were married this is just when they were dating and by the way so when did she die when was just recently like six months ago this is all new so but when i was like when they were just together and he was she was selling off all her stuff and we were all like, I would get the updates from my friends. I was like, there's no way this guy is who I think he is. So I do like a little journalistic Google and there's like one picture
Starting point is 00:23:54 of him on the internet from like one event and it's his real name and it's his name that he gave. So I'm like, if you're, so this is all my unsolved mystery questions. If you're a con man, why would you use your real name? But then there was like seven different email addresses, seven different phone numbers, like very easily Google-able. And I was like, hmm. I was like, maybe you're not a smart con man. Maybe you're not a con man at all. Like maybe you really love this woman. I have no idea. But what's interesting is like there's one photo, right? And the photo of him on this red carpet is like with a notable person, like a notable woman. And I look up the woman and I was like, well, damn, we have like, she's kind of Hollywood adjacent, like, and was her age, is our
Starting point is 00:24:40 age. So I DM her and I was like, I gotta, I gotta figure out what this guy's deal is, you know? So I of course go journalistic. I'm like, I go DMing and I DM her and I was like, Hey, I think we have a friend in common, blah, blah, blah. And she texts me, gets it off Instagram. And basically in not so many words was like, you gotta be careful. This guy ruined my life. He's super dangerous like be careful and I was like oh shit so then I never like looked into it again because at the time Alexis honestly I was gonna call you because I know like with your crime work you're like really good at this kind of thing but then I got scared and I was like I'm not gonna do anything so anyway she the girl the old girlfriend or person that was scared of him ended up like
Starting point is 00:25:26 kind of like becoming a celebrity in Hollywood so it's wild that she has this past but anyway Tammy is dead. There's a lawsuit. And what's crazy is that when you Google this guy, the address is Tammy's Bel Air address. It says that he lives there. He got the house, obviously. But like, anyway, that's the crime.
Starting point is 00:25:50 She's a bad picker. Denim is the ultimate wardrobe staple to take you from summer to fall. And you can always use one more pair. Starting point is 00:28:44 sweeteners no ingredients clean simple eats is undeniably clean 100 delicious shop the best tasting protein powder at clean simple eats.com the lady gang so the girl who you dm'd and said he's dangerous did she tell you how he ruined her life were they romantically involved did she tell you anything else you need to ask more questions i know i wanted to but then i was like it was obviously they were together like dating and he obviously is a con man right could be complicated I mean yes yes I would say yes I mean he could be a con man or he could just be very opportunistic and he knows how to woo these women over in a way and manipulate that like you know it's like where's the line between opportunistic and like a con man I guess I don't know if you
Starting point is 00:29:37 but like did he have a job was this man a security guard no where did he go every night where did he go well he was did he have another he was probably avoiding having to like actually yeah probably right you know like what i wish she was still alive because i would be like did he penetrate you you know what i mean so if he was on the red carpet with this other girl who you DM'd with, I doubt he was a security guard. Like I know in LA people can be like actors slash whatever, but if he was on a red carpet with someone who became kind of famous, I would think that he never was really a security guard. Right. So he obviously was taking the money, had an apartment of his own, whether the apartment was with his own family, a different girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:30:24 But again, the crazy part is that it's his real name. How do you know? Well, I don't know it's his real name well it's the name he uses publicly the name was the name on the carpet it was name it was the name on Getty Images is the same as 30 years later the name with her so I'm like he's using his real name so like did he have like there's no social media there's no other photos of him like nothing you know what I mean so I'm like why would you I guess why would you use a real name. And then like, was like, are we idiots? Like, was this guy just like really loved her and was a security guard and went to work every day? Like, it just seems so wild. I don't think the opportunistic thing makes sense. I mean, the fact that it happened once before makes me really sad
Starting point is 00:31:13 with the first husband trying to kill her. She's a bad picker. And it's like, you know, I would never get married again if that were me. I'd be like, cool, if someone's going to love me ever again it's gonna have to be without getting my assets like but she didn't she did it again she did it again yeah i mean we've seen women like this on true crime documentaries all the time really they get themselves yeah they date the same kind of guy over and over again thinking it's going to be different or thinking he's you know changed or whatever it is um with her death did they like say how she died i think she's in a bitch attack or like a stroke or something well you can easily fake a heart attack but i i think my friend group is not thinking that
Starting point is 00:31:57 she got murdered i think she was ill i think she was ill and i think he was waiting it out and it happened earlier than he thought but is it so wild to like like she got secretly married like also like got married and didn't tell anyone there was no wedding they just like secretly got married While she was like getting sick. Or she was a lot of people like, though, if she thought she was terminally ill, people get really like desperate for like love and companionship. And they're also like, what do I need all my assets for? Like, well, if she doesn't have kids or anything. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:31 If she's isolated herself from her friends that she probably at that point doesn't care about anymore. It's like, why would I give Jason my money that I haven't talked to in two years when my love is right here? Kind of a thing. it sort of reminds me of like what Anna Nicole Smith did I was gonna say that too it's like very similar because would people say she's a con woman no she's just opportunistic and yeah then when her husband died she remember that there's like this iconic picture of her marrying him and he's like decrepit in a wheelchair really dying at that very moment and then then she gets everything right but the kids fight her her his kids fight her for it
Starting point is 00:33:07 and um it's it reminds it's like it's possible he just he's like oh this lady like doesn't push me too hard i can be in this like one foot in one foot out really companion i'm gonna get everything and i don't even have to do anything right yeah i mean it seems like a pretty seemed like a pretty easy situation for him to be in especially if it's like i can live my actual life at night and then i can come here during the day and not have to work and maybe make her dinner or something like that and then get all our money when she dies what scares me a little bit about it though is that like he'd known her for many years obviously so he would have known the story about the first husband and it's almost like i see what he was trying to do there and like i
Starting point is 00:33:49 see where he messed up and now she's older now it would be a lot less suspicious and you're closer to death and there are things like i just saw something online about how like oh but i also Vizine can cause something that looks like a heart attack. Have you seen that, Jack? Yes. Like there's all these like, yeah, like ingesting a lot of, there's a chemical in vizine or like there are a lot more like insidious stealth things you can use now. Wasn't it also baby oil or something like that?
Starting point is 00:34:19 Didn't we? Baby oil injected in the veins can look like a pulmonary embolus, which looks like pneumonia, which is why Diddy. That's what it was. That's what it was. Yeah. But vizine can cause something that looks like suspicious as well. Wait, I got to tell you, I missed a part of the story.
Starting point is 00:34:34 When I Googled him, there was... I wish that you could tell us his real name. When I Googled him, there was a... What's it called when you... Like a warrant? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that is the part I'm missing to tell you.
Starting point is 00:34:50 That's a big part. Okay. From the death? No. there is a case number in 2016 collections case purchase debt okay so he obviously had some sort of like westwood holdings filed something for him against yeah well and they weren't married yet correct then so perhaps it's like he was doing something sneaky were they together back then they wouldn't have been that 2016 that comes up when you google his name yeah so it was like
Starting point is 00:35:27 it must have been i don't know anyway so it sounds like he wasn't in a good financial situation he was not in a good financial situation that's where i get like very and then he got himself into a better one you know well you know yeah you're right you know the anna nicole smith thing is interesting because like i didn't hate her for that i was kind of like go you go girl so maybe I'm judging that you know because it was like just I guess because it was a man well and like listen she could have been very complacent and satisfied with the relationship that she had with him like maybe she didn't need somebody yeah maybe she doesn't want to either and maybe she just wanted somebody around to feel like they cared about her I don't like the isolation whole part
Starting point is 00:36:08 of the story but like yeah you know she's getting older and she's like this is my I want my life to be simpler i want him to be the only person in it then like whatever i guess but the isolation stuff usually happens because like the person isolating doesn't want the person's support system to clock the dysfunction and when people that i know had clocked they were cut yeah they were out yeah so that that's not great that's like a kind of a bad thing okay well anyway this was my closest thing i've ever come to a crime but i think you are onto something but like i think what we need to also put into perspective like he's didn't just like fall into some money to get a house in bel-air these days you would have to be like have a hundred million dollars
Starting point is 00:36:55 like yes you need to be generationally wealthy this is like a generational trust this is wealth This isn't just some millions. This is motive, Kelty. This is motive. This is motive. I would think so. With that much money, that much property. Zillions and zillions of dollars.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Like, and selling off apartment complexes that were, you know, worth money, money, money, money, money, money. I wish that they would have looked into her death a little bit, you know? Like, and not just been like, it's a heart attack. Like, because it does, there's suspicious surroundings. Okay, I'm going to ask them right now. Hold on. Yeah, see if they ever, see if they ever. I think I would trust your intuition if it feels sketchy.
Starting point is 00:37:34 It is. I'm sure there is sketchy stuff happening. And it's weird that Alexis and I are even going to the more innocuous like conclusion because I feel like we usually do the opposite. But I feel like we don't have enough information. Well, of course, we're always like, yeah, who is definitely a murderer and that guy is definitely guilty. It's definitely a man. Okay. Because you guys are like, you guys are like, well.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Well, we don't have enough information. Like I need to know more. like because if like nobody ever looked into the death nowhere there was no like suspicious activity then it's like that's all we have to go off of if you could get some examples from the girl who dated him and told you he was dangerous if we could find out just like the kind of little things because like did he ruin her life because he was an asshole because she was heartbroken on him yeah or is it because then he taunted her and spread rumors and broke into her apartment and it stalked her after like or like stole her money or stole her credit card which kind of like
Starting point is 00:38:28 he ruined my life is it because some people just get their feelings hurt and heartbroken and that's like kind of life-ruining and it can be yeah like i'd probably say my ex ruined my life and he never did anything but saying he's dangerous like i've never said that about anybody that no that i've been dated i've said that about people when i've gotten a bad vibe but like i've never dated someone dangerous nor would i describe them like that you know i think that we need to do enough date and i think you need to gather some more info okay you need to talk to the friends you can message that girl tell me tell me how to do crime call them and then record the call and then let's use a voice changer to disguise their voice yes okay perfect okay great i will do that or even
Starting point is 00:39:09 like have something transcribe it okay so i'm gonna get information about how she died yes did anyone look into the death i'm gonna go back to the old girlfriend yes and if you tell her why if you tell her why she'll probably give you information if you've promised not to like if you're like hey his girlfriend died and i'm like it's sussed out will you just tell me what kind of shit he did to you that was bad so i can get so i can understand whether or not like he's as malicious as i'm thinking he could be or if it's just normal asshole stuff yeah okay yeah and then what's interesting send me the name yeah i know you did when i was in santa barbara but if you send me the name i'll actually like look and dig around too now that i'm home and then also
Starting point is 00:39:53 what's interesting is like the house he he can't sell it because it's caught up in a lawsuit and i think that she had already like sold off everything over the past like you know eight years that they were together and like had given him all the money so like the only money he would have now is the house to sell yeah which would probably be plenty oh it's a lot it's gonna be lot yeah okay i'll come back to you with more lady gang i hope you liked our lady crimes and i know i'm a crime girl now you really are i don't watch investigates i literally can't even watch dutton ranch anymore because uh what are the words you just said dutton ranch is a show and it was my favorite show and i love it so much because i love beth and rip and unfortunately on
Starting point is 00:40:40 the last episode someone on the ranch got an uh like electric weapon you know like ak like i don't mind violence when someone is shooting at a western or something and it's a pow pow pow you don't want to you don't want automatic weapons i'm not watching anything with an automatic weapon and so it's too real it's too real so now i can't watch it anymore so i'm you know the fact that i'm doing a crime podcast is wild we'll be back with more farewell we weren't here for a long time we here for a spooky crimey time.
