Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, the following podcast is a Lady Gang Network and Podcast One production, which means it's going to be awesome. Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around here.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to the Lady Gang. I'm Becca Tobin here with Jack Vanek and Kelty Knight. keltishka night oh my god why haven't we called you keltishka in a while because it's insane katie knightley she's so great oh my god that was the best thing that's ever happened she is so god that you guys when they messed your name up on that marquee i was like this is the highlight there had to have been somebody that was working that venue that like listens to the lady gang and
Starting point is 00:00:52 wanted to troll you really bad i don't think so i think truly it was the universe keeping her humble yeah because i'm like oh my god look my name's on marquette that's not my name i mean katie is a great name but it's not my name um okay just fyi next week i go to the station oh my god and it's goodbye but no that's it okay okay well now it's time for good week yes it is bad week oh no i'm gonna actually say something and jack will probably second me you don't get a good week this week what you're going to the seychelles that's it we're gonna put a fork in it and that's gonna be the end really that's not your good week the trip you've been talking about for nine months you're getting
Starting point is 00:01:43 ready to go on it i was gonna use it after but okay i'm sure you still will no it's fine that can be my good week do you want to hear my bad week sure okay sometimes my good week is i'm going to the station no she broke the rule my good week is no sorry my bad week okay i'll only do a bad week sometimes it doesn't happen very often the differences between canada and the united states they're like other than the chocolate and like politics culture like everything um money but they're i mean healthcare healthcare i mean but like those are big things i'm talking about lightness your day-to-day life because we ever we all speak english right yeah okay so wait what what's happening what do you mean english either is it french no i thought you're saying like
Starting point is 00:02:29 there's not a lot of differences between being there and here right right like a lot of the time when you're in a new country in a different country yeah if they don't speak your language right there's the big that's what i'm saying yeah your day-to-day minutiae of life is very similar in Canada to U.S. Yeah. And every once in a while, I'll come across things that are really, really different and completely f*** me up. Like, really, really, really.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Like, for instance, in Canada, this is an example from childhood. In Canada, we spell color with a U. Oh, yeah. And flavor with a U. And gray with an E. Yes. And so there's, like, some different things. But whatever.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Those are old. I discovered not one, but two things that ruined my week this week about living in America. a you don't so do you remember when brad gresky was on our podcast and we were talking about butter tarts and i was like oh my god did your mom ever make you butter tarts so she went this is the story so after that we were like let's make butter tarts we went to three different grocery stores one of them was a target so that doesn't really count but target plus two grocery stores looking for the pre-made like pastry shells like you can get a pre-made pie shell in canada they sell them like the little mini ones that you can then fill because my mom's like i
Starting point is 00:03:45 don't make my own pastry tart i'll make the filling but i won't make the pastry they do not sell them even on amazon you can't get an individual tiny pastry tart tart what did you end up doing she made me a giant pie a butter pie i guess we'll call it so it's the same thing just giant yeah it was just giant delicious yeah it was so good what's the filling it's like brown sugar but like raisins pecans amazing how long were your parents here in total his daughter served for five weeks holy shit five weeks yeah what did he do every day worked on the house that's it yeah and like he foremaned the big renovation he kept how long was your mom here two weeks are they wow yeah um okay but the other thing that i found out that is not the same is
Starting point is 00:04:34 that in canada a box spring like when you buy a mattress yeah let me get a box spring it's like an actual wooden box with springs in it oh yeah in the united states it looks like a mattress metal and they put a topping on it that makes it look like it's essentially the insides the innards of an ikea bed frame but like in a thing that makes it look like it's a mattress yeah but box springs like i needed a box spring for my bed and my parents were like let's get a box spring and i ordered one and it was just like a bunch of metal it wasn't an actual box spring it supports your mattress so your mattress doesn't like sag anyway that's really boring but i'm just saying the box springs are different in canada and it was really hard for my parents when we were trying to order
Starting point is 00:05:13 a box spring and they didn't exist they're like well call the call the mattress place and i called the mattress place yeah anyway so sorry about your backs guys do you have a good week bad week yeah my good week is that i ran a stop sign and there was a police officer right there and i was like oh my god oh my god i'm gonna get pulled over he was too busy texting yes oh goes both ways i was like damn it this is it this is the end my bad week is why would it be the end stop sign ticket i i get i get like crippled with anxiety thinking about getting a ticket have you ever gotten a ticket i got a ticket when i was 16 that almost made me lose my license why because i was speeding so much oh you're speeding so much yeah i was going like 30 over the speed limit that's
Starting point is 00:05:57 crazy no life on the edge was it like a school zone and you're like no i was like 75 like a huge interstate in atlanta and you're like how much were you going like 100 miles an hour i was going i think i was going like 90 something yeah yeah okay i was on my way to visit my boyfriend gotta get there gotta get there gotta get there that was devastating so i get anxiety but i didn't get one and then my bad week is that i was in a in an uber recently and i did uber x because sometimes i just can't justify the extra price of like the black cars sometimes like eight times the price yeah i always do uber x well i stopped for a while because i just had some weird experiences yeah yeah and also heard some weird things about those drivers yeah anyway neither
Starting point is 00:06:39 here nor there i get in this uber it smelled like you know a like a dorm room of like a boy like or like a bedroom it's like that it's not bo yeah it's like it's like scalp yeah oh god do you know what i mean like it's just when a boy takes a hat off yeah and then you like smell his hair that's what i'm saying it's just like it's not body it's just body it's like stale body aliveness and like and skin and like old clothes that haven't been washed it was absolutely horrendous no and it's like how does that happen boys have a muskiness to them that is revolting like sometimes i go in christmas closet i'm like we live in the same house we wash our clothes with the exact same detergent why does your closet smell like boy it's like what's so weird sometimes
Starting point is 00:07:37 if i've been out of town i'll even walk into the master bedroom and i'm like how does it smell like a boy's been sleeping in here like the sheets will even smell different jared doesn't smell it is oh yeah he does not smell i don't understand that's so weird doesn't have a soul but i thank god because i can't deal with smells smells are the worst my good week is i have a new word for the lady gang dictionary it's anxiria and it's this area it's real that you get when you have anxiety that's incredible aka every day before one of our lady hang shows i had an anxiria oh great word and every time like probably before every one of my first dates i ever went on i always had like a pre-date poop anxiety yeah i know it's a good one good job i wish that went
Starting point is 00:08:27 of the book. My bad week is that I found my first wrinkle on my face from sleeping on my side. You know how sleeping on your side I found the first one. It's not from just being
Starting point is 00:08:42 a human being because it's like a vertical wrinkle on my cheek from squishing my face for eight hours. And you know they can't Botox that. Did you get the pillow? I have the pillow, but I can't I can't sleep on my back.
Starting point is 00:08:58 The nurse, Jamie, has a pillow that's a side sleepy silk pillow. And it has a cutout right here. Yeah. For your eye? Yeah. So, like, it doesn't push your nose part up. I don't know. I have such bad sleeping problems anyways.
Starting point is 00:09:10 No. I don't think you can add. I don't think you can add. I actually already came to that realization. I sleep on my stomach. I can't sleep in any other way. No. And, like, if my face gets flattened, it's just what it is.
Starting point is 00:09:19 I'd rather sleep. Anytime I go to get Botox or filler, any doctor like that, they're like, you sleep on your right side. And I was like, God damn it. It's that obvious. That's so funny. Just smush in my face. Did you know that I was told that if you sleep on one side that your whole life, like your nose will eventually like go that way through gravity?
Starting point is 00:09:35 Oh, I also found out a really interesting fact this week about sleeping. Did you know that while you sleep, your body is generating like the most delicious oil that is going all over your skin? Um, and that's why you should shower at night because there's a regenerative oil. and if you don't get enough sleep and say you like only get four hours of sleep or five hours of sleep and you wake up and then you shower right away, you're washing that regenerative oil and it's like the gold
Starting point is 00:10:03 of our internal systems to regenerate our skin. And so what you want to do is that you want to wake up in the morning and you just want to serum and then lotion and sunscreen. Not a chance. I have to shower in the morning. I cannot. You're going to be so old. If you're wondering why people are like, are you guys all the same age?
Starting point is 00:10:19 They've never once asked that. Because you're 40, so I thought you were 40. Okay, when we come back, it is the guest roundup of 2019. We're going to let you in on a secret. Who were our biggest flops and who were our greatest flops? We're not going to say who it was. We might, and we're going to go down the top shows of Lady Gang. Okay, bye.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Now back to the Lady Gang. And we're back. Now, top episodes of the year. Do you have a favorite episode of 2019 that you'd like to talk about? All a blur. I don't know. Well, I'll tell you some of the people we had on. Yeah, that helps.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Okay. So some of my highlights that we had on, um, Julia Michaels. Oh, she was great. Yeah. Was dope. Spencer Pratt came on for the second time. Yes. And he brought us all those.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Remember when he was like pouring out the crystals in the trunk? I had to run to something and you guys were like here. We felt like we were buying drugs from his, the trunk of his car. Yes. Katie Lowe's came on. She's amazing. and she's so cool do you remember when Michael Yeo came on
Starting point is 00:11:22 and he told the story about when I thought I was the host that was the best episode the best story I've ever heard in my entire life ever it was so good I just wish that was the one moment I wish that we filmed our episodes because his reenactment
Starting point is 00:11:37 of the face you made when they said you were a correspondent was so good the confusion that he portrayed on his face that kelty was just like what correspondent i am the host of this show yeah and so we i thought it would be fun like if we played some of these top moments in this episode so we're gonna okay listen to what happened when i wasn't the host well because
Starting point is 00:12:04 when we started i was just a contributor oh that's you were a correspondent and didn't you think you were like the host yes okay yeah can i say this is such a good start yeah yeah yeah okay oh my god this is so crazy oh no go ahead okay this is no i'd like to hear his point okay yeah i'm then i'll fact check you okay so we go we have our first meeting of the new show it's the insider and kelty's there i meet kelty for we meet i meet everybody for the first time and they're telling us about the show and you know they go thea's the host uh kevin frazier is the host and michael you're a correspondent mary mary kitchen mary kitchens a correspondent and kelty you're a contributor yeah and then you just she was like
Starting point is 00:12:56 confusion i know this is a podcast i wish you could but i wish they could yeah And his face is a very, like, shrewd. It's almost like a computer just glitched. Yeah. Short circuit. And she was confused. And then I always remembered that face she made. And I said, contributor.
Starting point is 00:13:15 And finally, when we became really close, I go, she goes, yeah, I thought I was the host. Oh, my God. Like, the actual, like, host. Of every, like, above all. The Nancy O'Dell. Yes. The Nancy O'Dell of the show. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:29 You're like an intern. Yes. so she thought she went from online to hosting a major network show like in front of everybody she thought it was kevin frazier into her as the host and we were peons under her so kelty walks in all confident and then when she leaves it's like this is a true story honestly your facts are pretty much correct so here's what happened here's what happened so i was working online at cbs and i was pulled up to be a correspondent sort of for the show before this relaunch so i was already doing correspondent stuff
Starting point is 00:14:12 and then the official contracts came out but like it was really they were launching it well clearly now in hindsight, I knew I was very unimportant to this whole thing. So they didn't exactly like fast track my contract to like my house with FedEx. You know what I mean? It was like somewhere with like, Oh, we'll get to her. Eventually we know she'll come along. Cause she doesn't have any other offers was kind of the situation. But I had an old executive friend who worked here and she was like, had told my agent, like, you know, Kelty's going to get that job. and like somehow in the like world of things the telephone was like that job was like the job the host and so they had built me up like have you guys have you heard anything yeah no everyone's
Starting point is 00:14:57 talking about you you're gonna get the job they love you they're obsessed with you and then no one talked to me so i showed up at this meeting and like i had been filled with you're the new host of the insider and now 10 years later it seems insane because i still can't get that job and i've been working here for a decade but at the time in some way it made sense because i was so green i hope to god our girls listening right now the ones that are constantly emailing us about like where do i even begin like how do i get that job it's like you just can't I believe you got it. What?
Starting point is 00:15:38 Kelty did. Oh, my God. I remember. I remember. This is like the best example of manifesting the law of attraction. Kelty's got it. I still don't have the job. I still don't have it.
Starting point is 00:15:50 She got it. No, I remember because after that meeting, I was like, oh, well, I'm a – they're confused or whatever. And then I remember going – do you remember when the wardrobe room was that big room? Of course. Contributor. Contributor. Okay, okay. So I went to the wardrobe room and someone, the old wardrobe lady, had a clipboard with
Starting point is 00:16:07 all the new cast and I was going through the names and I was like at the bottom and I was like, who is Mary? I was so pissed. But anyway, look at me now. Still here. Okay. Yay. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:16:20 It all happened the way it was supposed to happen. Oh, I thought you were going to say it all happened like it really happened like that. Like the way he told it. No, it didn't. 100%. Okay. this year we also welcomed kevin mckale to the podcast finally after trying to get him on for like three years you guys he's been on x factor celebrity is he winning i started watching it
Starting point is 00:16:41 not knowing like i was at my parents house and we always watch like the masks singer and all this shit and we turned it on and i was like number one didn't know he was on number two he's so good he's so talented he's so stinking cute when he did the monkey dance one and there was like the dudes with like just the legs down. Yeah, I know. I am obsessed with him. I just want him to be an international pop star. So do you win celebrity or is it?
Starting point is 00:17:05 You get a recording contract. No. Yeah. But he already has songs. No. But he's not with a label. He only did them independently, huh? He was with a label a long time ago.
Starting point is 00:17:16 And then when everybody went, when Glee was with like Sony, I think that you weren't allowed to go anywhere other than Sony. Like it was something complicated. And yeah, I mean- He's so good. All right. Josie came on. Do you remember his great documentaries?
Starting point is 00:17:30 Yes. About the things. How many days? What was the name of it? 12 days or something. Seven days. Seven days out. 12 days out.
Starting point is 00:17:37 Something days out. Yeah. It was seven days out. So good. Loved it. The dog one. Next. Cried.
Starting point is 00:17:42 So good. Brad Gresky finally came on the podcast and then he was like, we should do a podcast. And now he has a podcast. And now he's crushing. So great. Remember when Laura Wasser came on the famed Divorce Internship? She was one of my favorite episodes. was she is such a boss bitch yeah she was so good and she came in in like a deep fashion like she's
Starting point is 00:18:00 so good and she like good good advice she gave great advice jonathan bennett came on oh my god i forgot about him remember he and justin recorded back to back yes they bumped into each other and they're screaming at each other and then that's when i got in trouble you did that's when i got trouble for having people in my too many people in my office because jonathan and justin were in the lobby of et yelling at each other you're trash you're trash we're like we're making a tv show here guys idiots idiots um nicole scherzinger we were like we don't know how she gonna be she's a big international pop star and then she was like so cool she killed it she just chilled out and i was like i really like her yeah i saw her on fourth of july this year at a big party in
Starting point is 00:18:47 malibu and she was getting hit on by this disgusting guy like he's a club owner from vegas and she was like literally standing next to me and she's like this is my life no way yes wait she's on x-factor too she's a judge she on kevin season yeah like on the uk and simon she is killing it she's great i want to be a judge on something you don't have to do anything it's true like you're just gonna talk about i would be so good you would be a good judge i'd be like you suck yeah you'd be like a simon i thought you'd be great but you weren't okay you tell them um alexis martin was on this year that was this year wow was it early this year early this year she was like a january baby she's awesome that was like an incredible
Starting point is 00:19:32 incredible episode we have to have her back next year yeah she was so inspiring boss bitch and i think she's been promoted like twice since yeah yeah majorly um colton underwood was on the podcast and then we had him on the tv show and then he broke panty gate yes when he judged us for period underwear yes yeah for not throwing them away oh yeah he wanted us to throw away any underwear you've worn obviously hasn't heard of thanks before well i do you think that he just doesn't have period sex or no he didn't because he was a virgin yeah so i i forgave him for that i wonder if they're having period sex now i don't think they're sleeping together right are they yes yeah of course they are he didn't say he was waiting
Starting point is 00:20:16 for marriage he just said he was waiting for the right person and then after they started dating he was just like now we're not just talking about our personal life yeah which means they boned they're boning i mean they're a great looking i'm actually surprised they're still together not anything personal i just like they seem so young to me yeah like they seem like well they are i think she's like 22 yeah she's super young and i also feel like when you get that taste of hollywood and fame like what else the first thing you do is like break up with your boyfriend can i tell you yeah can i tell you why but they're both they're both like sweet same level of it's not like she got famous her boyfriend was like a loser no i feel like it doesn't matter
Starting point is 00:20:57 i feel like it's like you just keep climbing well now all these bachelor people are dating like real celebs so you never know who you think you could get options are endless options are endless i think the reason they stay together is they're in a quadruple love so it's colton and cassie and then the sister and the actor so they do everything in the four yeah so it's like you can't break the group, you know, it's like us and lady gang. And then you're stuck forever and ever. It's a long damn time. Okay.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Personal favorite of the year. We're going to do this now. So get ready. Okay. Personal favorite of the year, um, has to be the Matt Nathanson episode. Oh my God. I read your journal entry to him. It was so truly.
Starting point is 00:21:36 That was this year too. Yes. And so I, I was going to put this in the episode. Is that okay? Yes. All right. So this is my moment of the year. It's when I had written this journal entry about loving Matt Nathanson, and Matt Nathanson came, and I read it for him.
Starting point is 00:21:51 So here it is. So I have a special surprise for you, Matt Nathanson, and mostly Jack and Becca, because this is great. I am just terrified. So everyone makes fun of me because I'm a massive journaler. I journal every moment of my life. I do every morning, by the way. But you're a songwriter. Yeah, that's your job.
Starting point is 00:22:08 so i have found the journal this is literally what kelty does instead of like have friends i love it your journals are meticulous because you post them sometimes on the in the world and i'll be like jesus the embarrassing thing is is that this was in 2010 so that's not that long not long ago eight years nine years not long enough not long enough let's remind everybody kelty is 36 years old yes do the math okay so this is just a quick journal it's almost 30 I'm going to throw that out there when she wrote that. So I'm going to read a journal entry that I found. I knew it existed.
Starting point is 00:22:40 I think I had posted it on a blog many, many years ago. So I don't know if you've heard this. You might have read it. I don't know. I definitely didn't. Okay. So the title of this entry is called The Day I Almost Met Matt Nathanson. It's April something.
Starting point is 00:22:55 I'm at LAX flying to Edmonton. Nothing special. I'm always at LAX. I almost live here. I'm wearing what I always wear, leggings, brown boots, scarf, yellow cardigan. But today, I magically wore my one special feather earring. I thought this morning as I got dressed, should I wear my magical feather? I might lose it.
Starting point is 00:23:14 There's no reason to look cute. It's LAX. And on the other end of this plane ride is my mom. She has to love me, even if I'm ugly. But something, also known as the ghost of Matt Nathanson, whispered in my ear, wear the earring. The ghost? Is he dead? And just like that, my luggage, tiny feather, and I were off to LAX.
Starting point is 00:23:33 Well, at LAX, I had a conversation with my bestie, Katie, about how last night I was on a date. And right up front, Stiles, I told the date, there's something you need to know. If I choose to be in a relationship with you, which is not going to happen, dud, I have an out. I need an out. If I ever get the chance to have an epic stay-up-all-night-playing-Portis-head-smelling-like-fresh-showers-makeout-session-with-Matt-Nathan-Sinn, no matter what, I need to be able to do that. And I need it to be a thing. he didn't think that was a good idea hence why he's not my dream man where did the almost meeting him come from in your mind he said if you're gonna do it do it now touche fast forward back
Starting point is 00:24:17 to lax today back to my extra special feather earring so i'm sitting at the gate and i'm checking twitter and golly gee matt nathanson has tweeted and he tweeted that he was at lax my heart started to race i grabbed my chapstick i was thankful i had been on team feather earring in typical kelty manner i tweeted him three times and i stood i stood right beside security hoping he would walk by i had a fever and a cold sweat a female boner matt didn't walk by but if he did he would i know he would have fallen madly in love with me my sparkling personality and my feather sadly as i stood in line to be the very last person to board the plane just in case he walked by he didn't but as i sat down in lonely seat 23a i checked my twitter obviously it had
Starting point is 00:25:06 been almost 11 minutes and there it was at matt nathanson direct message where you at jet blue this was not in a where you at like let's bone yeah it wasn't like you up yeah yeah yeah what's girl no it was like a hey fan that i've met before where are you at let's play let's play slap and tickle this happened i would have met matt today and he would have told me how beautiful i was and how charming my tweets are and then we would have talked about his wife and how they split up no hard feelings she decided to move to india and be a guru and that he had fallen instantly in love with me and that we would make out for most likely three to seven hours when we took breaks he would tell me he never wanted to be apart from
Starting point is 00:25:55 me or my feather ever again the end oh my god wait kelty where would i have read that number one number two that's incredible i mean you need to print you need to give him you are this yeah you you are fearless the best because i read it out loud or i wrote it in my journal because you read out loud but also because you're like you manifest shit yeah and like now we're here and now we're here but like it's that's some real commitment i was gonna say dark i'm like you really went i don't think i've ever loved you more that is i really don't yeah ultimate kelty ultimate kelty um jack do you have like a favorite guest or it's okay if you don't no i have one um cindy ecker oh good one the boss of the boss bitches one of the most inspiring women that i've ever met in my
Starting point is 00:26:46 life and one of the coolest ladies ever yeah like it's very very rare to have somebody at that level of power also be so down to earth and rad can i tell you something though i'm kind of jealous when she goes on other shows why is that like i'm jealous of cindy no i like she's on like all these different shows now like all the podcasts she's kind of doing like ashley graham yeah and i'm like wait i want to be on ashley graham's podcast and then i'm like she wanted to hook us up with ashley graham she did yeah they're friends right okay well we got to do that we got to get on that get on it um becca did you have a favorite episode this year um i can't think of any they all sucked they were horrible um okay well here here's what i'll do i'll tell you um i want to do
Starting point is 00:27:33 a guessing game we have just a few minutes left of this section and then we're going to do s lady gang but i want to see if you guys can correctly name the top five episodes of all time and the top five episodes of this year okay okay so do you want to make your five guests of all time of all time colton um i'm gonna throw out ali fedotowski because it was our first episode um candace birch hormone tanya and maybe another bachelor person wells maybe good guess beck is not gonna guess because yeah well it's just too many years i can't think of i can't remember what i like ate for lunch two hours ago okay so you're correct on all of them on three out of the five all right colton is our number one episode overall that's crazy isn't
Starting point is 00:28:25 that insane because it was right after he won or right after the bachelor the timing was crazy tanya rad is number two love you tanya we love tanya wells is number three of all time and we just was with him like two months ago that's crazy jonathan van ness is number four i know i forget right and then joey king oh he's our number five overall her fans are crazy yeah Isn't that neat? So that's overall, over the past four years. Okay. Colton, Tanya, Wells, Jonathan Van Ness, and Joey King.
Starting point is 00:28:55 Now, over the past year, obviously Colton, because he's the overall, Wells, and then listen to the last three. Kristen from Vanderpump, Doughty, Teddy Mellencamp, Doughty, Teddy Mellencamp, and Brad Gresky are the top of the year. That's great. Which is so different, because last year, a lot of our expert episodes were in the top. and this year we had so many good celebs that our celebs are like up

When we come back, the 37 million a year podcast is going to fix your life. Such a long winded thing to say. So we're all overscheduled, overworked, and quite frankly, over cooking, aren't we? Yeah, that's right. That's why I love
Starting point is 00:30:03 daily harvest. When I'm running around during the day, I don't have to think about going to the grocery store and what I'm going to make for myself that's healthy later on. Throughout the day I am treating myself to daily harvest, whether it's one of their smoothies or their overnight oats or my favorite harvest bowls. Last night I made myself a Brussels sprout and lime pad thai harvest bowl. I added an egg on top. You can personalize it a little bit, get funky like I did. The smoothies, you can add your own kind of milk, whatever you prefer. It's so convenient. They come frozen to your house, chef crafted. It's thoughtfully sourced and it takes less than five minutes to prepare. Convenient, peak freshness. And right now we want you to go to dailyharvest.com

Starting point is 00:32:08 gang to become a member and you'll get 50 automatically taken off your first order with free shipping feels.com slash lady gang you're listening to the lady gang and we're back all right first question comes from anonymous last year i went through a pretty rough breakup things just didn't work out because of individual issues before the breakup we had the most beautiful and perfect relationship doubt it truly taught me what it meant to be in love and appreciated in all aspects he was my soulmate since then we've kept in contact but he will still fall off the radar and go mia which has led me to start seeing someone new oh my new guy has worked tires tire tirelessly to prove his affection and love for me and i've started to really open up and let
Starting point is 00:32:52 myself fall for him the only problem is that my ex popped back up again and told me that he wants to be with me he says he still loves and misses me every day and i'd be lying if i said i didn't feel the same what do i do do i take things slow letting my ex back into my life while i'm seeing my current guy or let things run their course and if this doesn't work out let my ex know that i'm ready to explore a new start with him i think you're the one that got away forever no if he didn't know what he had when he had it yeah no no thank you yeah go back and i don't like like a popping in saying some stuff making going mia yeah doing a ghost it's like if a guy wants to be with you he will be with you and he will not leave also you know who else i've called my soul
Starting point is 00:33:37 mate boys oh my god i've never called my husband so true yes so true my soul mate because i don't believe in them anymore because when you think it's your soulmate, it's usually because they're treating you like garbage and you think you can't live without that. And it's like, hi, leading you and gaslighting you. Yeah. Or there's just like high intense, you know, like usually those people are like a little narcissistic and they like get off on getting you to fall in love with them. And that's why it feels so intense. And so, yeah. And you're anxious and you're excited. Well, that's not real. Yeah, I agree. That's not soulmate. Stay with the guy who's like staying the course with you yeah stay with somebody who's consistent he
Starting point is 00:34:19 seems like he's all out of whack and wackadoodle so him or don't whatever come and then leave okay second question comes from zoe fly girl i feel like i'm in like the early 2000s fly girl fly girl do you remember the fly girls yes of course i loved in living color when i was same jim carrey okay i have been with my partner for 12 years and we have a one-year-old together wow everything is great in our relationship i'm sometimes away for work and i'm playing with the idea of sleeping with a co-worker who's also married with kids he also just wants to and never tell anyone about it do you think this is a really bad idea i'm gonna say fly girl it's a horrible idea she's like however great everything is perfect should i another guy i empathize with you there
Starting point is 00:35:08 is yeah there is something a little tragic about the fact that we have to be with the same people for the rest of our lives yeah i feel that and listen if something were to happen don't ever tell don't ever tell him never and if it truly is just to have a moment naked with another human because you don't want to hit the grave not having had that moment yeah go do it but like know that you're not in love with him yeah don't fall in love with him because if you do leave your 12-year relationship for this guy in another 12 years you're going to be feeling the same way yeah so it's and also if he is willing to do the same thing he could also leave you yeah i mean it's just so hard to not in the words of katie perry catch feelings yeah it's just hard
Starting point is 00:36:00 like i sex regardless of if it's like oh we're just having sex like it's still an emotional thing like he's inside you like it's not a random person it's a co-worker so they obviously have some kind of a relationship and a rapport yeah and some kind of flirtation do not do this and quit your job also also you have a one-year-old so like you're probably not feeling the same like you're probably just balancing out again your hormones you're feeling probably like you just want your mojo back but like this is not the way to get it yeah yes absolutely but like no judgment whatever you decide yeah i mean if you want to do it then do it but like the repercussions might be large they're gonna be there's gonna be it's never gonna blow up your
Starting point is 00:36:44 life even if you think it's no strings attached it's going to yeah i don't also once you open that door it's like dora's box because like here's the thing you could just keep this flirtation at work going for so long and it can really fuel you it can make work more fun more enjoyable the fantasy of it it's like wanting what you can't have too and then it's like if you haven't cheated before you don't know how that's gonna like ruin your life internally that it might fuck you up a lot and then he's on top of you and you're like i just fucked up my whole life for like a five for a terrible for a terrible interaction first time sex is never great and you never passionate it but it's not like pleasing no but also he i mean no i can't say that okay last question comes
Starting point is 00:37:32 from anonymous so my boyfriend and i never ever go to bed at the same time i'm so tired from work and the kids that i crash at like 9 30 to 10 p.m but it never fails like clockwork he comes crawling to bed at like 1 a.m after binge watching whatever he watches and always wakes me up to have sex i never cave i'm too tired and i hate being woken up after i'm yes sleep am i a prude bitch or does this all happen all the time no am i a prude bitch or does that all need to happen well before i go to sleep yes yes tell him if he wants it he's got to get it when the store is open there is nothing this is not amazon now can you imagine your vagina is not amazon prime now okay there there is no girl on this world that would be into this no never you're i am sleeping
Starting point is 00:38:22 it's f***ing up your rem you can't get back into rem i'm already halfway to morning breath i don't want to kiss you no no absolutely not if he wants to have if he needs to have sex with you every day he needs to be on your schedule when do you want to open the vag yes let it be known office hours are definitely not when you're sleeping absolutely not that's wild that he thinks that's okay i bet he's like watching porn yeah he's going in there like wanting i like that he wants her of course like i love that he's like he needs to want her a few hours earlier he needs to want her at 8 p.m and it's not like she's going to bed super early 9 30 10 is not that early yeah i've been at like 7 30 that's like yeah i'm like i need a 4 30 p.m this is when i have to energy to have sex with
Starting point is 00:39:09 you if you can't get me at 4 30 after my mid-afternoon nap see you the next time kill me okay um this has been so fun thank you to all of the guests who have visited us on the lady gang isn't it weird that the two clips that we played were about healthy yeah well i couldn't think of any times you guys had been funny healthy night form do you have any party night fashion the 2019 roundup was about her healthy night everyone is there any parts that you guys felt like you really shown where we shine yeah i mean every day okay yeah that's what i thought every episode just choose one roll the dice roll the dice um honestly i couldn't when i was putting down the episodes i was like those are the two things that
