it's time for a quickie podcast one presents the lady gang the hollywood girl posse with
lady gang quickie here's kelty knight becca tobin and jack vanek let's make this quick
hello hello hello welcome to the lady gang quickie i am becca here with kelty and jack
oh what's up lip gloss on get your girl get your color going do you have like a really nice face
of makeup on Becca? Um, no, I have like, I have, um, concealer and blush and a mascara. You look,
you look gorge. Thank you so much. Are you leaving the house today? Well, I had to make a video for
us because, um, we're doing the book, the vote campaign, which is for voters. And it's really
hard to like talk to a camera a because you look bad and B because you sound stupid when you're
talking about things like voting. So I've been trying to get a 60 second video for that. It's
been about an hour and a half that I've been trying to do this. So one of my friends is doing
life coaching stuff and she does these Instagram live videos that are 10 minutes straight and
sounds incredible. Doesn't fumble over her words and is just flawless. And I'm like, it takes me
probably 20 minutes to do a 15 second Instagram story that I actually don't hate. Like I applaud
people that can just talk to the camera straight like that. I know. Uh, Jack, where's your pop
filter? Uh, in the other room. Should I go grab it? You know, it's so funny when I was putting
mine on, I was like, if I had time right now, I would text Jack to say, don't forget your pop
popper. What is this called? Pop filter. And I was like, I guarantee you she's not going to have
it. Oh, especially sent it to her house because we're getting a lot off. Yeah. Well, well, I think,
You know, I'll live, I'll live, but it actually does sound like Kelsey's going through the wrong
mic right now. So no, I'm going through the right mic to talk. Do you, because I normally talk like
this really close. That's why the pop filter is nice. And that's why you need the pop filter.
So you don't get so close to them. Jack, were you the kid in school that like never had anything
you were supposed to have or did your mom do it for you? No. Do you bring a lunch? No. Do you do
your homework? No, I'm doing it tonight. Promise. You know what? My like spaciness, I feel like has
gotten worse as I've gotten older. I mean, I was like, I was a straight A student, very punctual,
always had my stuff. I was the person that was doing all the group projects. So I think it's
a slow decline. Are you even plugged into the hard internet? I can't be because Jared's actually
recording a song in the other room and my apartment is small as. So I'm stuck in my
bedroom right now, but I upgraded my internet. I'm going fast as hell. Fast as hell. Fast as
lightning. Well, today is an allegedly what's happening quick. We got a post in the Facebook
group and one of our Lady Gang members said, I wish you guys would do more allegedly what's
happening. And then it had like 300 comments. I know. And so it's been hard to do allegedly
what's happening because no one's been leaving their houses. There is no news, but I took a
peek around the internet and I do feel like there's some good shit for us to talk about.
So get ready for some stuff. Okay. First up, last week we watched the Fenty Rihanna fashion show.
Jack, did you watch it? I didn't watch it, but I have seen clips to know enough about what's
going on. Becca, I think you have not watched it. No, I have not. Okay. So I'll just tell-
So by we, you mean Kelty has watched it. Well, I kind of knew this was going to happen,
but there's so much incredible stuff in it that it would be a shame not to talk about it.
The dancing in this show is like nothing I've ever seen in my life. The choreography is so good,
but there's two things that stuck out to me. Number one, Erika Jayne, who is 49 years old,
in a heel, in a robe, open, a black glitter pasty, big old, are boobs fake? They look fake,
but like, but they also look really real. So it's like, I don't know, maybe the best
boob job of all times. Anyway, her bouncy titties walking down the runway in like a long ass top
knot pony. It was fierce. Wow. I'm very into this, like Fenty using all different ages and
body sizes and like, I mean, it's amazing. The, the model, the male model that they had,
that was like a plus size male model. I loved. Cause it's like, I feel like no,
that gets overlooked in so many different brands. I feel like that was the first one that's really
included a plus size male model as well. Um, I have a question about the show. There was a lot
of people there. Did they like COVID test them? They COVID tested everyone and quarantine.
hundreds of people yeah it was like basically the rule now in LA for productions it was only
shot like two weeks ago um and they everyone has to get like a COVID test and then test it again
like it's you know but Demi Moore was there she was Demi Moore so much 57 years old in black
lingerie a high cut lacy teddy very low cut boobs a fishnet a heel and she's just on this
like pile of other sexual dancers that are like in fishnet body suits and she's just like wig hair
maybe it's her real hair i don't know like down to the knees hair and i was like yes and there's
a photo on instagram of her standing next to bella hadid and i was like you go on with your great
self at 57 years old boom we read the book so we know she's been through the ringer with body
confidence and self-confidence. So I love this journey for her. But also for the older women
listening, I'm pretty sure she was open about having many procedures done. So don't feel bad
about yourself. Yeah, totally. Yeah, that's what's up. All the work she's had done really was
incredible. It's incredible. She's gotten a lot of good work done. Great work. I mean, we still
have to say allegedly she's had work done, I think. I don't know. Yeah. I follow a girl on
Instagram who said the most poignant thing about the Fenty show. She said, I'm so happy about
what's happening in the world because I would finish watching the Victoria's Secret fashion
show and I would not want to eat for two weeks. And when I did eat after that, I felt like shit
about myself. And I would remember those bodies on the Victoria's Secret fashion show. She's like,
I love that this show made me want to put on freaking lingerie, not give a shit that I ate
pizza the night before and fucking celebrate it. So I am so down for this. It is like the coolest,
strongest, most badass version of like body inclusivity and just like body pause dopeness.
I love that. I do. And for all genders, all genders. And I think something has switched in
my brain lately because we're all programmed and brainwashed. Like I think we can all
address that and acknowledge it. So what's funny is there was this interesting article that I read
about a bra and underwear company who's having celebrities post themselves in the bra and
underwear, like for a charity or I think for breast cancer awareness. And I was just like
scrolling through the photos of all the people who posted. And I actually saw a picture of a
body of an actress who is very thin. I think she's very naturally thin, but like no curves,
nothing. And I remember being like very underwhelmed by her photo and being very into
the other photos, there's like Katy Perry and Kate Hudson. And I just remember thinking like,
wow, I've actually started to like reprogram my own like neuropathways in seeing the stick figure
and not being like jealous or like want it. So I'm, I'm actually stoked about what's happening
right now. Well, and we talked about this the other day where it's like, well, when we were
younger, preteen teenagers, it was the perfect quote unquote body was that real thing. Kate
moss kind of a thing. And it's so hard to unprogram yourself into thinking like a normal,
whatever body is, is great. Because even if you know, it's like a head versus heart thing that
we're so programmed to think that it's like so fucked up, but, but things like Fenty, it's like,
we're seeing people that are our age and older and of all ages that are celebrating their bodies,
whatever it may be. And that is just what we need more of. We need the flooding of those photos
coming into our, into our, you know, Instagrams. And then she had like three of my favorite drag
Queens walk too, which I just think is like dreamy shake who lay. I saw that part. It was amazing.
Yeah. I mean, Oh, okay. We can talk about this, but this is not allegedly what happened at the
Fenty show. This allegedly what's happening. Um, this is a little bit of old news, but we haven't
heard Becca talk about it. Nini is out. Um, yeah, but she's been out before and has come back.
Okay. So you don't care? It's not that I don't care. It's that I just feel like it's different
with like Dorinda leaving New York because Dorinda's never left New York. I think that
NeNe has an ability to go in and out because she's such a popular housewife. Not that Dorinda
isn't, but NeNe is like a fan, fan, fan, fan favorite of Bravo. So she kind of, I feel like,
has the leverage where she's like, meh, I don't feel like it. Oh, sure. Like Bethany Frankel. I
feel like she's somebody who can just pick up the phone and be like back on the season if she
so feels like it. Did NeNe leave on her own accord? I don't actually know. It hasn't come
out. And so when Teddy Mellencamp was like being open on Instagram and she was like,
I didn't want this. Like I got let go. And then everyone was like, we applaud you. We applaud
your bravery for like speaking out. Then NeNe posted something like, I hope y'all applaud me
for speaking out about my truth. So I don't know. Maybe it might've been dirty. I think everything's
dirty with uh tv no it's true um sean mendez i have horrific horrific sean mendez news he's
writing a new is it his song is bad oh no no no his album is coming out and he just did an
interview about it and here's the quote you're getting lots of love songs for camila uh nobody
wants a love song i'm like yes let's celebrate this like successful long ass marriage but like
like a james taylor or something yes sean you're so young like i mean i don't want to be a boy but
i also just like i don't know it's too romantic for someone too young yes and it's not believable
i hate when people write happy albums that's what i'm saying nobody wants a love song two
songs i can deal with roar by katie perry and brave by sarah brellis which are basically the
same song and that's it. Everything else. Those are not love songs. Those are literally the same
song. Isn't that the song that you can put on top of the other song? And it's the exact same song.
But that's a happy song. It's like an empowering song. But this is what I'm saying. Nobody wants
a love song. It's like when people are in like a happy relationship and then brag about it to
other people. Like I don't need to hear about your happy relationship. And that is why I'm having
sadness. Yes. And that's why I'm having such a problem with Heather from selling sunset.
I'm happy she found love with Tarek, but it's like every fucking post is like, love you,
love of my life, sweetest, can't wait for the wedding, blah, blah, blah, love of my
life.
Well, they've also dated like two seconds.
I know, but like calm.
That's what people do when they don't really know who they're marrying.
Like the day of my wedding, I was like, yes, this is who I want to spend my life with.
But do I already know his flaws?
Absolutely.
Like, do I want to, like, it's just, that's the people who are, they are God-blessed.
I think it's really nice. It's super sweet. I hope they have success. But you can't trust
a couple who all they do is talk about how much they love each other. Also, I had an epiphany.
I'm sorry to take so many tangents in your allegedly. I had an epiphany the other day.
I have a friend who I'm really struggling with to connect with. And the reason is I did a lot
of soul searching. I'm like, why am I having so much – I'm feeling so weird every time we connect.
it's because I'm not getting her authentic self. She's not showing any vulnerability.
She's making it seem like her life is incredible and perfect and wonderful. And like, while we've
all been in a place where we're so happy and things are going great, there's a different way
that you portray that. So it's like, I feel like I'm talking to like an amp, like a caricature of
this person and not getting their whole self. That's why we don't like what's her face from
selling sunset. Yes. Not, not like, but that's why we can't connect with her or care about her.
right yeah talk about maybe every once in a while be like hey blending a family is really hard like
i'm gonna be a stepmom to this person's anyway whatever we also it's social media we don't need
to hear the ins and outs of your life but like it definitely doesn't have to be like a lovey-dovey
over the top post every other post about your but maybe we're just bitter judgmental bitches who
knows. Definitely. Wait, Jack, I realized why I look so good today. Why? I saw Dr. Diamond last
week. Oh, that's not my makeup. Silly girl. It's my new face. It's my new face. All these syringes
that were placed inside. Hi, I'm Barbara, aka your nursing educator on Instagram. I'm a registered

everything that comes with the job. And trust me, it's a lot. Here's one of my favorite and
simplest pro tips. Upgrade your scrubs to figs. Figs are designed for us. They are super soft,

check out figs head to where figs.com and use code figs ca for 15 off your first order that's
where figs.com code figs ca on my face all right when we come back mariah carey
the lady gang i don't even know what news is a new book the meaning of mariah carey i've started
it. I'm like just on the tip top of it. I'm so excited, but here's the greatest part. So, you
know, Mariah's had a lot of love lives throughout Hollywood. She dated and almost married Derek
Jeter and then Tommy Mottola. And then do you remember a few years ago when she was engaged
to that like billionaire, billionaire James Packer with the yacht? So she just did an interview about
the book and they were like, Hey, you didn't talk about James Packer who she was engaged to for
like two full years at all in this book and she goes oh honey if it was a relationship that
mattered it's in the book if not it didn't occur and then when pressed on the topic here he adds
we didn't have a physical relationship to be honest with you oh that was an arrangement
wait so who is this guy with the yacht was he a was he a celeb he's no he's like just a billionaire
investor guy and he has like he has massive yachts and it was like they're really famous for like
Like they were over and we're south of France and they each had their own yacht and she
would like spend the day on her yacht and then she would go over at night to his yacht
for dinner and like whatever.
That's so nice.
And then go back to your yacht to sleep.
Go back to your yacht to like pick out your nipple hairs.
You know what I mean?
Dude, that's what's up.
Yeah.
That is, I just, I don't know if you can't share a yacht with your significant other,
you have to like, like I get it for us in our like little homes, you know, like want
to get away, but like a yacht.
That's like how there's a girl being like, I just need Terry to get his own house.
Like, they live in a fucking castle.
What if something happens?
I mean, if you're on the water in that yacht, what if something goes down and you start sinking?
Yachts don't sink, babe.
You never know.
They have, like, other boats.
Like, there's yachts where you can open a trap door and another boat comes out from underneath.
Oh, yeah, the mini yacht.
That's like the, yeah.
And then some of them have, like, wave runners and stuff.
Like, you're going to be fine.
I guess that's true.
I guess.
Oh, Mariah.
mariah i just love that she's writing a book and um i love that she's like if it's not in the book
it didn't occur and that is going to be my new saying that's the ultimate dish she's truly as
the queen of disses in a way that nobody else can really that's not something you can think up that
just comes out from her you are he's naturally just so savage oh and then she talked about in
the book she's talking about how she doesn't like count birthdays or ages and she's like a lot of
people make fun of me for this, but like, I just love Christmas. So for me, my seasons and years
are counted by Christmases. And she's like, so I don't, I don't really do birthdays. I don't do
new year. I don't do what day is it? I just do, is it Christmas time? She has the queen of it.
Yeah. Cause she was like, Oh, here comes an extra $50 million. That's why she loves Christmas.
Yeah. She's keeping the Christmas spirit alive. Cause that's how she makes all of her
50 million dollars every christmas i would count that too i know it does go to the top of the
charts like every i wonder how much she makes a year just of just from that song alone can you
google it yeah i'll google it um well and also she but i didn't i mean i knew this a little bit
but she had like a really hard upbringing so i um appreciate mariah i love i just love the
fabulousness of mariah anyway i love that although i have heard i have heard she's quite a dick but
she's late to everything like you know you're gonna be four hours does it say it's so it says
that her song and okay in the uk alone the song earns her over five hundred thousand dollars in
royalties every year so that's just in the uk so she's making millions of dollars a year from that
song every year. Merry Christmas. Good for her. God, we need something like that.
Okay. Two quick things. Jenny and Tori Spelling have started a 90210 recap podcast.
This is something I don't- Jenny Garth, will you be listening?
You know, I did do a TV show with them. For one season, they had a sitcom called Mystery Girls.
It was a multi-cam sitcom and I did an episode of it and I have very fond memories.
It was my first multi-cam experience and they were very sweet.
So I would support, you know, whatever they've decided to do.
And also those recap podcasts, hello, we know they're good.
What is Mystery Girls about?
That's a cool title.
They were, you know, I'm going to try.
I don't even think I should try it.
Don't even try it.
don't even I'll just envision what it is in my head I I can't I can't remember
gooby-doo they solved I think it was yeah I think they solved some mysteries
cool um okay last thing this is kind of like a terrible topic but I thought it was really
important for us to talk about and it's the the Chrissy Teigen photos with the baby like I
you know my heart is so broken for her and what I hate the most about it and why I wanted to bring
it up was that she's getting so much pushback for posting and sharing the photos. Like,
oh, you just wanted attention. Like what is wrong with people?
Yeah. I mean, I think that I'm going to be totally honest here. The old me would have been,
I have been in those situations, very judgmental because if it's something that you can't see
yourself doing or you don't, you didn't do, then it's like challenging to see someone who does it
and not being able to understand the reason behind it. And I also think like, you know,
I appreciate, I applaud Chrissy Teigen for doing it because she's somebody who's so open about
everything else that this is just her staying quote on brand as gross as it sounds. But this
is, this is sort of like part of her, of who she is, is sharing. So I understand the people who
are having a hard time with it. I don't understand them sharing their opinion and trolling her about
it because clearly it's a terrible, terrible thing and she wouldn't have chosen this. So it's,
it's, it's hard. I think like the lesson in it is just like, it's none of your business what
anybody chooses to share or how they share it. Well, that's the thing too, where it's like,
okay, if you think about the effect of her sharing it, there probably has been an outpouring of a
positive effect because other women that have gone through similar experiences feel less alone,
right? So there's positivity going through in that realm. How is this negatively affecting
anybody else's lives other than the fact that they're like annoyed or something? Like, I just
don't understand the, like, I think it could probably be triggering for some people. And so
like, but you know, it's like, you don't know what's going to trigger what people, you know
what I mean? Like you can't walk around not. Yeah. Yeah. So the only like justifiable,
not complaints, but like on the other side of it is for women who maybe just felt like it was
a triggering thing. But, but I feel like all the people talking shit are probably,
they're not the people. Yeah. They're never the people. They're the fucking Karens. And also,
by the way, we need a better word for fucking Karens. Like it's not even, that's not even good
enough for like, you know, we need, we need a word for Karens. That's more appropriate for our
generation because Karens are like our parents age. Karens are the women. We need a millennial
Karen. What is the millennial Karen? Well, it's just so hard. Cause it's like, you gotta be
careful about the name you choose. Cause it's really going to be damning for anybody who
unfortunately has i know my mom's best friend is karen i'm like it's the kelsey is it like what's
like let's think of the girl in in our school who was the biggest asshole and then you just maybe we
can make her that the thing is we're gonna we're gonna really lose some fans here let us know
jennifer on instagram if it's you i know i'm like it's about travis's my cousin is married to a
Travis. Yeah, but there is no, Oh, I was going to say, but there is no good Travis's, but
yeah, there's one that I know of. God, I just, Travis Tritt seems lovely.
Travis Tritt seems amazing. Anyway, this was fun. Allegedly what's happening. It's already over
