Hey guys, the following podcast is a Lady Gang Network and Podcast One production, which
means it's going to be awesome.
Podcast One presents the Lady Gang, the Hollywood girl posse with Lady Gang Quickie.
Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Let's make this quick.
Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to the Lady Gang Quickie with Becca, Jack, and Kelty.
Let's make this quick.
oh that's you know i know yes you did a pretty good job at it thank you very much
does it say it in our intro yeah yeah it says you never listen she's never jack what is the
percentage of lady in podcast you've listened to well i download them all so what does it matter
they know when you listen yeah they do yeah they see when you even stop listening yeah oh well
great thanks well you've lived it i listened to all of them again it's like what is that
It's selfishness, I guess.
It's called narcissism.
Yeah.
Narcissism.
And I'm like, oh my God, we're so funny.
You think that?
I think we're so funny, you guys.
Actually, there are moments where I start laughing at myself.
Right?
Yeah.
It's definitely not now.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
Not now.
Okay.
Well, on this episode of Lady Gang Quickie, it's back to questionable questions with the
Lady Gang.
The problem is that when I was prepping the first questionable questions, I prepped like
400 questions. Cause I thought we were going to go through them really quickly, but we haven't,
there's an unending amount of questionable questions. Casual questions. Oh yeah. Right.
Casual questions. It's not questionable questions. It's casual questions. Casual
questions with questionable ladies. Ooh, I like that. Okay. So what are the three most
significant numbers in your life like phone numbers just numbers oh like lucky numbers
sure my lucky number is 11 and then why it's just always been my lucky number and then it was
also one of my best friends in grade school it was his lucky number then i had a crush on him
and then he was like my friend that passed away so it's always kind of like stuck with me
yeah um but i don't really there's not many other numbers other than that do you have more than one
yeah you do what are your 12 is my lucky number because it was the number i wore when i first
auditioned using the song 76 trombones from the music man to be a part of dance elite the
competition team of the shored park school of dance when i was in fifth grade it was a big deal
okay we had a guest choreographer we did a lot of uh you know marching to singing 76 trombone
anyway it's my first ever audition and they gave you at that time it was like a recipe card that
you pinned on and it was like hand-drawn with sharpie number 12 very important my next number
is 817 because that's my anniversary of my wedding and i remember it always because sometimes it's
hard to remember your anniversary right that's why mine's one two three oh that's nice 12 three
that's really good um and then the other significant number for me is always the number
seven because my address growing up has sevens in it and i just think it's like a lucky number
it was a lucky number becca tobin i don't have lucky numbers yours was 11 too wasn't i didn't
ask you actually what your lucky number i said significant but jack changed significant i don't
really i don't see here's the thing i don't remember numbers and i don't like they don't
stick out to me numbers you should bojo bujo okay no thank you all right if you were put into
solitary confinement for six months what would you do to stay sane
sing oh that's good i don't know that sounds awful that sounds awful awful just singing in
like a room with your voice i actually think about this a lot because my friend does silent
retreats like once or twice a year where it is seven like eat pray love style yes at least seven
days where you are silent there's no phone and also there's no silent have you seen that curvy
enthusiasm episode where the guy took a vow of silence but then he'd mouth words yeah no no like
no one's talking no one's nothing and also you can't bring a like a journal to write in oh so
you're expected to literally just be be in silence and that would be terrible my worst nightmare do
you okay i mean imagine how long like it feels to have a manicure it's like that oh my god i love
that's where your brain went because that because a manicure is when time feels like it moves the
slowest so it's like imagine that times a million times silence it's true i wish i was one of those
people who loved getting my nails done can't do i always do it because i need to it's transactional
For me too, but there are people who just love going and being there.
I go to the spa to get a massage or whatever because it is the only time I can force myself to stop for a second.
And not be on your phone.
But I do not enjoy it.
A massage, a facial, my mind the whole time is like, calm down, enjoy this.
Are your feet warm?
There's a ticking.
I hear the air conditioner.
It just won't stop.
I would really hate to be in your brain.
my brain is awful it is horrendous up here guys it's so bad if i was in solitary confinement
though i'd write a book but you don't you can't write right you just said you just can't have
anything no i think you said that about your friends yeah you said that about the salt i
oh it's probably a notepad i could read a book can you bring up can you bring one prop
scrabble i i'm giving you a prop i'm giving you a prop
you can have a prop jack not play scrabble alone that's you're talking i used to play
monopoly alone as a child so you absolutely can all right so what are you doing what are you doing
in solitary confinement i can bring one thing yeah my cell phone i was gonna say my phone
no no phone so her third eye blind record i was good i thought you were gonna say what would you
what would be the one no you'd have to listen to the same same i could listen to matt nathan
my friend i would end my life with a sharp blunt or a blunt object okay there is a third eye blind
song called sharp knife well there you go i had my life to sharp knife have you ever saved someone's
life yes tell us the story okay here is how i saved someone's life are you ready i like this
new thing where i get to stand up according to school professor becca my best childhood friend
his name was andrew and his house backed up to mine so we shared backyards and we would always
go back and forth to each other's house after school blah blah blah andrew had a deathly allergic
peanut allergy like epi pen full-blown whatever so we always knew there were just certain things
we couldn't even have at our house one day we're eating ritz crackers but the cheese kind not the
peanut butter kind like the little minis and so we're popping them in our mouths popping in our
mouths and just like out of habit i look at the nutrition and like the ingredients peanut peanut
oil or peanut something oh no and i looked at him and i was like this has this has peanuts in it
and he just looks at me his face goes white and we have to sprint back to his house to get his
epi pen whoa isn't that crazy like if i hadn't have picked up that box started his throat would
have started clothing yeah yeah so how old are you andrew galucci you're welcome oh wow um we
were probably in fourth or fifth grade well first of all congratulations thank you so much it was
like a very my girl moment except he lived you know what i mean yeah very powerful a nice ending
i actually had a very dark dream last night where chris my biggest fear in life is that someone
loses a finger in the garbage disposal because it happens all the time so i had this like i think
people. Yeah. I think kids, it definitely does. It's dangerous down there. So I had this dream
that Chris, this is, you know, those dreams you have right when you're falling asleep and it's
like, it feels real, but it's not your real life. I had this dream that Chris went to clean the mock
out of the garbage disposal, lost his fingers. And then I knew instantly what to do. I ran upstairs,
I got my headscarf, I did a turkering or whatever, tourniquet and I hung his arm up on,
I hung it and connected it to it in milk, the limb that falls off. No. And then I went around
and collected all the fingers, put it in ice, called 911 on my home phone. Cause the 911 will
come faster if you're on a landline than a cell phone. I think that's a myth. It's not. My
girlfriend just had a baby situation with a lion line. Anyway, I'm not going to go to a sad place,
but I'm just letting you know. I have a question with those dreams as you're falling asleep.
Sometimes I get scared because I will know I'll have them or I'll be having thoughts and I'll be
dozing off and then I'll kind of come back to being awake and I won't be able to remember
what it just was that i was thinking about oh well that's dreams are just but it's like not
quite a dream yet it's just like me thinking in my head yeah yeah well is that normal yeah i mean
that happens to me where it's like your thoughts almost become yeah dreamlike and lucid and kind
of weird and yeah rude but then you like come to and you can't remember yeah okay good i don't
have dementia no great no no no and also uh okay yes jack saved anyone's life um anyone's life
lately girl i might have asked like almost saved a girl's life this weekend i was at jared show
and i was like kind of like walking into the venue and i see this girl and this guy screaming at each
other it's this little small skinny girl and this huge huge guy i'm like what the hell is going on
like are they dating i was trying to like see what was going on then the girl yells at the guy
goes like into the middle of the pit the guy runs after her grabs her by her legs lifts her up
like in the air and like is dragging her out of the club and they almost get to like the front
of the club and i'm following them like screaming at them scary so like are these people dating and
this is how this guy is treating his girlfriend in public like he this is bad so roid rage then
they were like they started screaming at each other again and i finally get in the middle of
them and i'm like do you know this guy and she's like no no no and so then by the way this guy's
carrying a beer and he's like i work here but he didn't have any any clothing but did he work there
i don't know so i finally just got him away from each each other because now everybody's like
watching them but if it was some strange guy taking her away like i good for you got in the
middle of it good for you it was scary though yeah because either way if you did work there
you cannot either way you can't treat women like that no you sure can't people
the lady gang okay what are you really good at but kind of embarrassed that you're really good
at it oh singing obviously are you embarrassed about that i'm so good what are you embarrassed
at like what are you good at that you're super embarrassed that you're good i don't have that
many talents i have a lot of skills but they're impressive all of them um i mean i'm good at
no i can get the shit that's underneath my nails with a credit card like i'm at a manicurist
that is disgusting like on the go like on this side on the underneath you know what i mean i
was actually thinking of like a real talent oh yeah okay i mean i'm really good at shaving my
face i'm a really good dog washer are you i sing a song to callie i trim her i don't even send her
to the groomer i groom her myself i'm a really good ingrown hair plucker oh excellent that's a
skill it could be an esthetician oh i'm amazing at hair i went to hair school you're not amazing
are you embarrassed at that you don't think i'm amazing at hair have you ever done anybody's hair
you've just you've told so many horror stories from your beauty school about how you mess people's
hair up well hold on am i great at perming no well good thing i did when i was first learning
to color someone's hair it wasn't my fault it was the the sink didn't have good drainage and
So you couldn't actually get the hair.
So I was bow-drying her hair, and she reached up, and there was just dye still in her hair,
but I was trying to make her not see it.
You fool.
That was so mean.
I used to get my hair done at the Paul Mitchell School by my house, and I used to get my hair bleached.
Like, I don't know if bleaching is something that you should do at a school.
No.
We had facials to give people.
No.
I swear, the tub of facial mask was there for the entire year.
i was there and everyone just had their hands in it it was so nasty oh my god that is not
sanitary and should not be illegal it was not i think we wouldn't have passed the state board
i'll tell you that much do you know to pass the state board you have to do a roller set and a
finger wave set it's really difficult who's getting a finger wave other than like on an
old time i guess it's been like 20 years since i was there but i bet i i don't know i will look it
up are there any new estheticians out there did you still have to do finger waves they have to
be spaced like a certain amount apart and it's just a lot of things great okay what do you want
to be remembered for my your legacy if you will if you're what is the becca tobin legacy um i think
as a good um i don't know being cool being cool being cool that's actually a pretty good one like
you die you're like she was so cool i actually would love it if that's what people started
saying now after they met me like what was it like meeting becca she's she's cool she's really
cool it's a cool chick i mean i will say about me i will say that a lot of zach's guy friends
think you're cool think i'm cool like they're they're the resounding feedback when we started
dating and still now really was that like i'm a cool girl to be married i try so hard to be cool
like chris's friends i'm like i'm like oh yeah we're getting together cool and i try to be really
cool and i think they can see through that i'm a total nerd i agree i have a good question wait
i'm sorry it's not on your page it's okay no i'll break the rules um what if if you died today yeah
and somebody had to describe you in one word what do you think that they'd
you'd be described as in a single word cool that's why it made me think of that
because i'm like that's a really like that's cool honest no yours would be like joy to vive
joy of life joyful that's not one word adventurous i was gonna say like yeah
fun creative fun is not a nice word um yes it is my word would be you know it's not a nice word
to be described as nice like my mom and i think you guys my mom and i got into a knockdown drag
out fight i think i was 19 and we were on a family vacation and we're sitting there talking
about someone and someone says oh she's nice and i was like god that is like the worst description
like that's the last thing i'd want it's so bland and it says nothing about you but then my mom
freaked out and she's like you're such a bitch you know what it would be great if someone would
occasionally refer to you as being nice but then i found out she was projecting because my mom
as a young woman she did get the feedback a lot that she's very sweet and nice i think kind is
different than nice i like kind like being kind is a um like a conscious thing you know who's kind
is jamie sigler jamie she's the most kind and that is the opposite of the bland we're talking
about with nice nice is when there's nothing else to say about nothing else she was nice
she's nice she's okay there's a more how would you what do you think my legacy is guys
anal retentive it's cruel organized i would say she lived her life so organized she was so
organized i know i've been thinking about that lately because all i do is work and i don't have
a legacy and i don't have any no you have a legacy your legacy is creative successful
kelty you are funny you are funny you know like back to our other quickie that we're doing
you know about starting the podcast and relearning about the lady gang you are surprisingly hilarious
like i think that when somebody meets you and doesn't see this side of you like you are so
funny in such a unique weird way i've never like when anybody like of my other friends haven't met
you guys they're like kelsey she's interesting and i'm like she is the funniest person i've ever
met because i'm quirky you're very quirky like in what things are quirky everything you say
like when you're really on one it is crazy i mean some of my favorite moments from lady gang tv were
you being insane like there's nobody like you you're really a one-of-a-kind yes one-of-a-kind
a snowflake a special special snowflake well because most people that i think that are your
like as quirky as you probably have like our losers oh you know like thanks i think
i'm gonna not be offended by that do you act would you say with chris are you more
that kelty or which kelty are you yeah chris i'm so nerdy like yesterday this week i've been
singing like friend like me and jumping on him like in his closet and then like i'll wake up
in the morning and i'll roll on top of him and i'll go you ain't never had a friend never had
Like I'm so nerdy and I'll walk out and I'll be like, don't like, I'll be like, and he,
he hates it.
I sing to Callie all the time when I'm washing her or whatever.
And he always videotapes me singing, but he hates me when, um, uh, I'll sing like this
one particular song and he's like anything but that song.
What song is it?
Oh God.
Now I'm going to forget what it is, but I need you to call him and ask.
Okay.
Let's call him.
Cause I'm really curious.
You know what Zach absolutely hates, and I hate that he hates it?
If we're in the car and a song comes on that I love, I love, like, turning to him and dancing to him.
No, he doesn't like it.
And, like, in his face and, like, making eye contact.
He's like, this makes me so uncomfortable.
I'm putting Chris on speaker for the end of this.
He's like, don't look at me.
Don't make eye contact.
It's like eye contact during sex.
Hello, my love.
Hey, Chris, you're on speaker.
What's the song that I sing that you hate the most?
Oh, I think it's a Lady Gaga or something, or?
No, it's, I make up my own words to.
There's more than one.
You make up your own to a certain tune, which I can't remember what it is, but it drives me crazy.
Yeah, I know, you hate that tune.
Okay, well, I love you.
That was a really good combo.
Tell him to send a voice memo if he thinks of it.
I can't remember what it is, and I'm trying to tell the girls.
I don't know, I hope for their sake you don't remember.
Okay, thank you, I love you so much.
Bye.
Get out.
um okay well if i remember i'll i'll tell you about it but i don't anyway so it's a made-up
song it's not like an actual song that you're um yeah it's like no it's a made-up song but
i changed the word anyway it's the melody to a song yes no i wish i could remember oh this is
gonna drive me crazy it's gonna drive me so give the people what they want i feel like i can hear
it and see it oh hot stuff baby this evening yes this is the song gross and the song is i'll be
like we need some cali food baby this evening we'll do some laundry baby this evening i need
some dinner baby this evening chris that's enough that's true i understand he hates it and on that
