jacket to wear over workout when you do the sound everyone knows exactly what it is a nice like nylon coating which i love a nice plaster upon show if you will it is but okay so i'm recording from my guest bedroom and there's two exterior walls in this room so it's the coldest room in the house and I'm freezing my titties off and I have underneath I had just worked out so I'm like slightly sweaty so if I take this off I'm gonna have like cold sweat on my body so I'm it's a lose-lose but honestly I am not mad at my matching headphones I'm really into it it's just so not you I've just never known you to have own anything in the neon world like everything you own everything you put on your child is like neutral brown grayish navy blue

but this is i love this color because like that the neon green and black together i think it does look good on you it's very street style it's also it's also i bought two from this same brand at marshalls and i live in i live in them and they were both like 24 is it like an anorak jacket It's kind of like poncho-y. know what gorp is no so it's granola oatmeal raisins and like peanuts or something it's basically like hiker hiker core but like street style hiker so your jacket's actually perfect for it like it's like stuff that you could wear hiking or like out in the wilderness but you turn it into like a street style and i'm like this is perfect for me like a casual like my casual look because i've never nailed in clothes camping clothes like hiking boots with like you know on pants yeah do you know who's you can literally shop everything and it's all reminds me of that what that brand the great oh I've never shopped them before oh my gosh you're gonna you're gonna die they have exactly at least from what I remember like seasons past they have like super

cute like hiking boots with like neon laces they have like plaids they have a lot of like shirt shearling touches but it is it's like if you want to look hot going camping is how I think about it Yes, exactly. With like a little street style mixed in. I'm like, this is my vibe. Cause I'm like, I've got to figure it out. My casual style is still a trash person. Like I need something in the middle where I'm not like wearing a Coachella outfit. So what are you wearing as a pant in this? A big sock? No, no, no. So it depends. Cause it's like, you want like a Sherpa with a nylon or like a sweat with like a nylon. It's like a nylon like Sherpa mix. So you're either doing nylon jacket like you have with like a with like a cotton pant like a wide leg cotton

pant or you do like a nylon pant with a sharp jacket wait is what it's called what jack gorp core gorp but then you can wear then you can wear those weird like y2k glasses so i got a pair of those to wear with my gorp core outfits to give it a little street style touch i've been really pinteresting what shoes have you been looking for um i was looking at a pair of platform timberlands to give it a platform wow they're called sky i'm into her i am too um chris i like this for you thanks chris's parents gave us a gift card to rei because they know that we're we're planning this big trip we put into the lottery to hike the high sierras this year which is insane but anyway i'm going to be gorp core but like real gorp core but you're gorp they gave us a gift

certificate to REI and when we went it's like it's a whole other girl I could be yeah I'm like do I need my Eddie Bauer Eddie Bauer crushes so good like I'm like oh do I need to ride a bike in a fleece like I don't know her but I she sounds fun well and like no there's something about it where I'm like I feel hot like I feel good in that vibe because it's like you're not trying too hard yeah and it's like I feel hottest in a ski town yes you know when you go out at night because there's nothing sexy about it, but there's something I just feel like really hot with like an oversized jacket and maybe like a, I don't know, like a legging and yeah, like a big boot. Yeah. It's just a fun, it's interesting silhouettes. Yes. Well, this is excellent.

This is a great segue because one of the, um, trends for 2025 in travel and leisure is calm-cations, which is a calm vacation. Travelers are seeking serene and tranquil vacation experiences, prioritizing relaxation and mental well-being. We are not skydiving in 2025. We are not doing crazy cities. We're not doing packed days. We're doing a calm-cation.

Wow. We just did this. Yeah, with your camping? We went to Sonoma with other couples and we did a full day. The guys went golfing and the girls did a full day at the house chilling. So it was like we put on a fun movie. We were in Sonoma, so we put on Wine Country. Great movie. Great film. We cooked a beautiful breakfast. We had mimosas. We just hung and read books. And I did think this is the only way I ever wanted a vacation again. Like I want a full day at the house. I don't want to rush out. I rush out of my own

house every freaking day. I want to leisurely. And we did a wine tasting, but we did one. We didn't do seven how people do it normally when they go to Napa where it's like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. It's like one. Beautiful. Yeah. Jack, does a calmcation make you want to scream? Well, no. So we kind of did this for New Year's Eve. We rented a house in Lake Arrowhead and there were two full days where we basically didn't leave our cabin which is unheard of for you yeah because i was like i gotta i have to do all the things i can't believe you went seeking out beer you didn't go seeking out beer pong or like whatever the well there isn't beer pong in lake carol no like the bean bag whatever that stupid cornhole i'm shocked you weren't googling

like close by bowling alleys. Well, I did. Um, and I did, there was karaoke at one of these bars that I really wanted to do, but we ended up like the whole new year's Eve, we stayed inside the entire day and it was so nice. And so what I'm like learning about myself, I'm like, wow, this is, I'm actually way more fulfilled doing something calmcation-y than I am. I mean, listen, I need to party every once in a while. Like I really need to get it out of my system. But I think for the most part, it's like, that's really where I find so much satisfaction. So I'm into this calmcation. The Lady Gang.

The other thing in travel and leisure that I think would be very interesting to you, Jack, not you, Rebecca, and me, because we like to go to bed at 8.15, or at least have already begun our, okay, is the nocturism. nocturism there's a growing interest in a nighttime tourism offering unique experiences and attractions after dark i'm not into nocturism this is not me at all yeah but like if you're dealing with an aggressive time change you know it might help you it might serve you i went years ago when we went to jordan on a nocturism tour which was you go and see petra at night which is one of the wonders of the world and it's all dressed up. It was candlelit. It wasn't dressed up, but it's all fancy and you sit and they play music and stuff. And it was very, very cool. But there was also a part of me that was like, no, no, it's dark. I should be reading. So I'm not

into it, but that's what Pinterest told me was a trend for 2025. Also, Jack, another trend for you for 2025 is cozy crime cozy crime 2025 what is that a sub genre of crime fiction characterized by a light-hearted tone and minimal focus or emphasis on violence or explicit content wait this is how it's a crime but it's like it's like soft core crime yeah this is like how you make your hallmark movie or your true crime hallmark movie it's cozy cozy crime i'm actually into this because like during my my reading expedition of like thrillers and stuff i'm like i actually don't want murder i don't i'm not into that i'm not i don't want a gratuitous what do you want mystery that's a cozy crime i want mystery like a mystery thriller with a mystery without murder i i'm into

murder but like so there's this book called pretty girls that's like a huge yeah uh crime book and people are like it's so good but they're like it's so gratuitous the whole way through and i'm like i don't want that like i don't want descriptive gore yeah and i don't like like slasher film and stuff like that so i'm like yeah cozy crime i like like softcore kind of like if too bad they already made a movie and you probably already saw it but i freaking loved the girl on the train yes because no one dies i don't think anybody dies well that's like it's like a psychological gone girl all that yes i love that i love the psychological that's my thing and when i like lioness which i know our your friend Dave is in and he's so hot in that I'm sorry Dave Annabelle is

But then I was like, I don't know if I can keep going after episode three. I did feel like after episode three in the first season, it started being more thriller. And then I finished all both seasons and I thought it was fantastic. But like, I just don't, I think that there's something where all these shows and stuff, they think we want to see the shooting, like it's a Marvel movie and we

don't, we just want, like, I don't know. I want, I want the lead up and I want like the mystery of it and i want that like i don't need the the moment i think that's for the men i think it to that the shooting and the guns but yeah it's for the men yeah okay um we have a few fashion and beauty trends for 2025 this is bad news for everyone guys facelifts oh well yeah obviously it's the peplum revival the peplum pop characterized by its flouncy waistline it experience a huge resurgence once popular in the 2010s the silhouette is reappearing in contemporary fashion embraced by celebrities and designers alike i actually bought a peplum rodarte dress i returned it i was gonna wear it to the critics choice awards and i put it on and i was like this

is a peplum and it looked great it really accentuated the hips and then i was like i can't do it it's long enough no it hasn't been long enough but also like a peplum dress isn't as bad as a peplum top i can remember very specifically i had this like scuba scuba very material tank top but like corporate carpet during glee no this is different this is like when i would go out clubbing in new york so it was like a corporate tank you know where it's like up to your neck high up your neck and like a thick thick strap and it was like a scuba material navy blue with a peplum and I would wear that with like a black skinny jean and I felt like a million bucks dude I don't think I've I don't think that there is a least type of a peplum person than me

no no you're definitely the least never will wear one no I'm not a peplum gal and you would just cut the peplum off and you know what yeah I wore a peplum I think the peplum another peplum I'm thinking of I wore it on an episode of Glee where we sang I Love LA on a double-decker bus and I was in a peplum top I specifically remember being in this oh my god um I remember one of the times that we connected you wore a peplum leather top on a red carpet it was sexual I did I did and it was one of the first times I kind of saw you again when glee was like so big and I had just started on insider and you wore a leather skinny pant and a leather matching peplum top honestly that still slays that was cute that's not that there's a matching

situation because then it's like a moment. Alright, 2025 color of the year is my, well, first of all the Pantone color of the year is like brown but the Pinterest color of the year that everyone is searching and actually pinning is

of being a rockette because linda haberman the main bitch in charge when i was a rockette she was an old Bob Fosse dancer and she was mean. So didn't she wear like a chef's clog, like a kitchen clog?
