Let's make this quick. hello hello hello welcome to the lady gang quickie i'm becca here with jack mckelty if you um can't see us we look like different people yeah you look amazing we look so good so pretty this is the first time i think i've worn makeup on a lady gang recording video it's a big day because we are about an hour out from the first lady gang bridal event yes because she did her bachelorette yes jack did yeah and now kelty and i were talking and we were like well we have to do a bridal shower for jack because we're good friends yeah and i would have never done it otherwise that's the other thing yeah i would have never i'd been like no i don't need it

you're like i'm fine yeah so i feel like i hated throwing parties like i really hated throwing parties yeah and then i threw ford's first birthday party so cute what was the theme like turtles or something the theme was animals and the reason yeah was because i have i lack so much creativity in that space yeah that i literally this is a hack this is a life hack okay if you are like i have no idea what theme this should be i don't know what's fun what color scheme too because i'm also horrific with colors i went on evite and i picked out a template for a kid's birthday party yeah his was like wild animals or like something fun and the colors were like vibrant and bright or whatever so it's animals so then i was like kelty i have the bug that i like to throw intimate

gatherings yeah yeah so um we use evite as our inspiration yeah and if you follow lady gang on socials you'll see oh we should post the invite for them to see i know i don't think anybody's i haven't showed it to anybody oh my god it's so cute yeah okay okay so we're so so We'll post it. We'll post it. So we're taking you kind of like a step-by-step of, of planning the bridal shower. So Jack likes things intimate. So it's around 15 people, very small, which I think is perfect.

Cause as we were setting up today and by, by we, I see, I say none of us because this epic, uh, event planner, Nikki from runaway, runaway Indy. Yes. She did it all, but we gave her the, all we had to do was pass her the invitation. and then she built the whole theme off the invitation so jack for jack she was like i want something a little more customized so i don't want to use a template that's already made on evite yeah so they have shocker shocker so jack vanek of her so becca is literally like she's like it's so easy you can just pick one of the templates they're all amazing yeah go ahead and i was like

nope i gotta do it myself even though i have no time and then i obsessed over it for i don't know three days that i should have been doing other stuff yes but now i'm glad that we're going to show it to the world because i'm like it's kind of embarrassing that i obsessed over it so much and we only showed it to 10 people basically yeah so i'm excited it's getting out in the world i'm excited that you were bright enough right now as we walk down and do this podcast to put your bride to be pin on i know i see that it's not flashing oh the battery's dead cool that lasted 10 minutes anyway but that is the color theme too oh yeah hot pink white and black yes which was a sketchy colorway for somebody to try to execute. Yes. And it is so freaking cute. Yes. I'm blown away.

It's really cute. It's like black accents are all over the party, like hits of black. Yeah. But then there's like really beautiful, every color pink you can imagine, especially bright. Yeah. And Kelty's backyard that got finished five minutes ago. So yesterday we were working and at 5 PM, all the guys working on my yard were like packing up and like doing their end of the day thing and I was like hold the phone I have been since January very cool like I was like oh one guy's gonna come and work this whole week just one man I seem like we might need more men yeah but I was like no and my only thing every single day was but it's gonna be done for my party in August right and they've been working since January we started planning in January they broke around and in in

March. Everything takes me a hundred times longer than anything. That little planter thing was like three weeks of the, I was like, I, this is numbing to me anyway. So last night at five o'clock, they're packing up and I was like, hold on, you're leaving. And they're like, yeah. And I was like, the yard is not done. It's half done. It's not even close. No, it was, it was half done. Barely half done. The pool is literally third filled with water. Like it is a disaster. And I was like, it was bad. Oh my gosh. So I said, you better be here at 7am. And they did, they got here at 7am back. And I woke up at seven 30. We started moving furniture. We're blowing with a blower. We're like pulling everything together. Um, and I was like, there's no way. And around 1130,

they started like sweeping up the mess. And I was like, we're going to be okay. Here's the thing. You can't go in the pool. It has not been treated. There's no chemicals in it. It's a little cloudy because it's like the first time it's like i just saw a video of a kid jumping into an old pool at a mansion and he got a brain-eating amoeba oh cool so that could happen cool oh wow but that's not the theme of this bridal shower the theme of the bridal shower is cookies cocktails and crop tops i just want to say that i you know that i like taking credit for things because i very rarely am creditable you're creditable today yeah that's what i'm saying she's bragging about it so i'm bragging because jack is uber creative and then kelty of

course you did come in with the game changer cocktail names yeah the the customized cocktails is also so easy yes and so fun please tell us the name okay so we have the marry me margarita cute that's basic bitch yeah then we have the scene queen spritz which is very cute i thought i thought of that i love it that's my favorite and then we have a bride gang champagne so cute and by the way like you know sometimes you go to events and it's like the you know maybe they're fancy and i feel like we're letting you down a little bit with the jacktails because i feel like you'd be like you smash up a snickers bar and then you put in some tabasco sauce these are very wait but they're putting cotton candy cotton candy I saw the cotton candy and rock candy oh they are

yeah and rock candy and stuff and there's like oh that is fancy it's really cute there's a nod to your courthouse wedding dress I don't know if you'll see it but like there's a little bit of pearl cute throughout the shower yeah I did see that at the bar in the little stir sticks and stuff so we're giving a nod to not only the the wedding that's coming in France but a little bit of courthouse because you had those little baby pearls yeah we also have other things that jack loves panera yes she's she wanted little sandy we have panera catering and i was like i really hope they bring the broccoli cheddar and then i saw it i saw it being brought out and by the way oh my god you're gonna die what so i love that i can't believe i'm saying this i love the broccoli

cheddar soup so much that they brought two and i only put out one for the party i put one in the back of the fridge i'm gonna have it tomorrow i mean i think it's worth it yeah i mean you guys like helped do this entire thing so yeah you can have a panera that's your payment is broccoli cheddar yeah broccoli it was so easy the ladies like rolled up at the perfect time and they were like here's everything and they started like everything's pre-packaged they're like here's the tongs here's the napkins here's the whatever so easy um and we got you cookies panera cookies i know you love a basic bitch chocolate cookie i already ate their m&m cookie cookie one cookie down already. Yeah. I'm so excited. And I love that. Like, I think that's what makes these kinds

of events. Like I was, I know this is so stupid, but we put, okay. So we took the sign. I don't remember when we had those made. Becca had them made. Was it for lady gang TV that we made? I know what it was. I know it was a live show, a live show. It might've been like you did a good week, bad week that you found like a printout of you. That was amazing. And like, you looked all hot. And then you're like, and I feel really bad because Jack and Kelty don't have them. So then you took the two worst pictures you could find. Mine was for an ad for Tampax, I think. And I was holding a box of tampons. I don't remember mine, but it was ugly too. So that's the, uh, the first thing you see when you get to your house is me. Just this morning, that was an added thing. We're

like, we need something. So people know it's my house. I'm like, well, I have the penis chart from the book and becca's like no no and i was like well i have the like percentage of people who what was this the thing farted yeah the percentage of people who fart like the chat like the chart you made yeah i still have that and i was like no and i was like we need giant jack and we pull it out and we're like wait why is she so ugly yeah because you put you picked the worst picture you could find we did debate i was like i wish i was like is this mean because if it this is actually a good a good tip for party planning i think having a cardboard cutout a life-size cardboard cutout of the person of honor outside by the mailbox is epic it is very smart so the fact

that it's so epic we were like we're weighing our options here yes your face doesn't look the best it's terrible but from far away there was a woman walking down and she goes cute yeah and i was like is it i i like filmed an instagram story i was like this is a very lady gang welcome I think it's on brand. I was like, of course I look horrible. But we thought, like, the tampons, it's very on brand for Lady Gang, but maybe it's going too far. We can only do ugly face. So at the last second, I went into the craft room.

I got the craft thing, and we got some stick-on letters, and we did bride. And I feel like it's so fitting for you. If you look close, it's a little bit transparent, and you can see the tampons underneath. And the color that you are wearing is the color of the invite. It's the color of the shower. I know. Everything worked out. Sorry.

so i would send a little a little reminder because you can instantly be like recent invitation nudge or what's it called like a nudge or something yeah yeah i love it i didn't know that i should well actually everybody replied but that's so you is that you didn't even did you rsvp to your own thing yeah she did she's on here oh wow great good job i'm here okay so tell us about your fashion oh yeah okay so part of the theme is crop tops yep and so i had a bunch of different outfits i did a tiktok try on like helping people or having people help me and then i decided before i even posted it so this is from show me your muumuu and oh no way yeah it's so cute i thought everything they made was like big no like a muumuu oh no it's deceiving and the skirt's like a maxi

skirt it's like got this like these tiered ruffles on it which is really cute this fabric reminds me of um like dresses i used to wear for like a fancy thing when i was a little girl yeah like when i was like 10 and then the top is a little crop top with a big bow on it it's very cute your bridal style has been fabulous i'm glad you're wearing pants because in las vegas on your uh thing it was like a bought a sexual bodysuit well that was for my bachelorette party so i had to have a sexual body no i feel like you've really gone in the appropriate attire yeah yeah yeah well this morning we just were we becca and i had like a try on of all my dresses and my thing for like what we're wearing for the wedding and what we're in for the night before

we're excited i think you look really adorable let's discuss activities okay what we're doing at the show do you have any idea shower well i know we're doing cake decorating yes which i think is really cute so cute they supplied like these little mini cakes and they have all these really cute i don't even know if that stuff's edible i know that the disco ball isn't edible yeah but i think most of the other things are yeah there's like all these cute little sprinkles i'm really excited because you know how i feel about a cake yeah oh my god you love a cake she'll inhale four of those yes she will tonight i'm really excited and i think it's a good activity and then everyone can take their little cake home yeah and cakes cakes feel good like we did a party once here

where we did everyone doing like their own oh no i did a party where i did everyone did like their own flower bouquet and that was like also really cute but the cake idea i've never done before and it was it's really really cute any type of an activity is good yeah jacktivity well most of our jacktivity is going to be taking pictures of you oh and then we have also these um these really cute birdie gray they make like uh bridesmaids dresses and stuff yeah and they gave us all like silk pajamas yeah and slippers which are cozy i broke into the box last night and I wore them all the time. I didn't see the slippers yet.

They're really cozy. Yeah, where are the slippers? We need to put those out, actually. Yeah, we do. I think they're still by the door. Yeah. Yeah, they're all like, we had like different shades

of like pinks and stuff, obviously, on theme. And then I have the little white one. They're so cute. And Lady Gang, you have no idea the discussion that went on between people who wanted shorts

and Becca Tobin, no knees. No knees Tobin. She was like, what are the pajamas? And she's like, I would prefer to not show my knees. And then everyone was like, Mary, May, May.

Mary's like, i don't want to show my knees and then everyone starts to and jack's like i don't want to show my knees so i think we have like a hot mix of like little baby shorts which i love like show my knees it's all i have she'll literally be 90 showing those knees i know i'm magda and then last night we had a stroke of genius what well jack did the jacktivity oh well i saw a tiktok about this wait did you get the supplies i have the supplies they're in the blick bag right there oh great okay um so basically it was a tiktok that went viral about i think that they did this at a bachelorette party and basically they gave each person a picture of the groom and then you

had to paint it like on a tiny little canvas like a three by three canvas with acrylic paint all of them were horrible and they were all amazing so i printed out a bunch of pictures of jared but then i also printed out a bunch of pictures of me and him oh because i'm like maybe like i don't know which one brady cute yeah okay and they're all just like different moments of like a relationship like there's one of us from like 2009 and like really cute and the the paintings end up being absolutely horrendous like that's the point they're so bad i already when you told me this idea sat in bed last night thinking about what mine would look like i've already planned it out it's a very avant-garde who do you think is gonna have the best besides you because you're an artist

my dad oh yeah besides my dad bill's gonna sit over for bill it's okay well if bill was on the evite he would have gotten a pair of pajamas but you know what the vanics they always got a they gotta panic what is it panicking panicking you know he was too busy doing writing whatever thing speech he's doing for our wedding he's doing something big should we tell him that tom tobin uh shouted out all of our sponsors that was amazing i will never forget that it was like early days of lady gang i don't even think we had been doing lady gang for a year when he got married or like maybe a year just under a year yeah and do you have a video of that it was so funny i wish someone video somewhere maybe but yeah my dad it was so funny but he like weaved

Mom's still a shower or something. Don't worry about it. No. And I was just like, I want her to be involved. So she's going to do a toast today.
