Hey guys, the following podcast is a Lady Gang Network and Podcast One production, which
means it's going to be awesome.
Podcast One presents the Lady Gang, the Hollywood girl posse with Lady Gang Quickie.
Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Let's make this quick.
Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to this very special edition of the Lady Gang Quickie.
It is the wedding edition. I am coming to you from my hotel room in London. It is the middle
of the night. I have made a pot of green tea. I have already ingested one half of a share size
dairy milk because I love the chocolate in Europe so much. It's so much better than American
chocolate. And this is the first time anyone has ever done a quickie by themselves. And the reason
being is that we have so much to talk about um so many of you are wondering about my experience at
the royal wedding and also becca is far away doing her movie and learning her lines and jack
has been drunk for like a perpetual like seven days in hawaii for her birthday and so we realized
that we promised that we would start doing the quickies every single week if you guys listen to
them. And you have been listening to them. You've really been listening to them. And so we needed to
put out a quickie this week and we realized that we weren't going to be in the same place. And so
we figured, you know what? Kelty figured Kelty can do it on her own. I'm feeling lonely. I'm
feeling unsure about this. I'm going to do my best. I don't know how Caitlin Bristow and other
people just podcast by themselves. Cause I feel like a fricking loser right now in my room alone,
But I am wearing my little slippers, the cardboardy ones they give you in the hotel.
And I don't know why I told you that.
Okay, let's talk about the wedding.
There's so many things to talk about.
First, I'm going to tell you that I haven't been home in over a month.
I went to New York for the Met Gala, which was incredible.
And then I continued on to London.
And so tomorrow I'm actually heading home, which is so exciting.
and I haven't just been home. I've been living under these two giant suitcases and I've been
washing my underwear in the sink and I am like ready to be in my own bed. Um, and kind of before
we start, I thought it would be interesting to talk about, you know, um, it's like
everything in my life is so good. Like since the accident, I got to go to the row wedding,
I'm healing up. I'm feeling so much better. And what's so crazy about it is that you can still be
sort of miserable. I'm not miserable, but there is an exhausting element to getting what you want.
And I think that any mom out there, any college student, any person with their dream job or their
dream relationship or is on a sports team or anyone that is doing something with purpose in their life
has had those feelings like I'm feeling right now which is like I worked so hard I'm so excited that
I got this assignment and it's been incredible and then at the same time it's like oh my god I
hate this so much like I'm way too tired I'm way too exhausted this is too hard I should have
picked something easier I am so sick of like struggling and feeling tired and exhausted and
jet lagged. And so anyway, it's not a very exciting way to start the Royal Bridal, um,
podcast, but you know, I'm kind of feeling that right now. I'm feeling really exhausted and
really, really burnt out. Um, I was trying to do the show today and I just kept saying the
wrong words cause words are like muddled in my body. And, um, I'm just missing the California
sunshine for sure. So I'm excited to get home, but let's talk about this wedding. First of all,
we're going to talk about the dresses we got to talk about them there has been a big fight on the
facebook group about the dresses and i'm gonna preface this by saying megan is better than all
of us she had the ultimate glow up her thirst for fame completely demolished my thirst for fame like
you think i'm thirsty she has made her way to the top i mean she has nothing to worry about she's
now your Royal Highness. So whatever we think of her dress and her hair and her makeup and her
tiara and her bridesmaids or whatever lack of bridesmaids, it really doesn't matter because
sister is the Duchess of Sussex. And I'm calling her the Duchess of success now, because that is
truly goals, truly goals. So the dress, God, so many things.
megan is beautiful right beautiful body beautiful girl i wanted to love it i do love it in some
photos but i felt like the fit was really off i feel like there's a possibility that she might
have gotten really stressed out with the dad stuff that was going on right before the wedding
and stopped eating and got really skinny before the wedding because the dress looked too big to
me. If you're going to do that kind of heavy fabric, simple, simple structured gown, the fit
better be perfect. And I felt like it was big in her waist, it was big in her ribs, and it was
especially big in her arms. And then I'm like, oh, well, she probably had her final fitting like
a week before. But then I'm like, this is a custom Givenchy gown that is probably worth
$250,000 like if sister lost some weight and she put on that dress that morning while she was
walking out of the hotel you would think Givenchy would have a tailor right there to snatch that up
and make it perfect like I just felt like she was kind of swimming in it and it is the risk you take
when you're a small framed woman that sometimes a dress can really overwhelm you that's one of the
reasons that I wear a lot of like v-neck gowns because I have a pretty small frame and my boobs
are really small. And so if I wear like a high neck or like a heavy fabric and that much fabric
on my body, it just kind of overwhelms me. So I love the idea of her being classic. Um, I did not
expect her in any way to come out in some sparkly number. That's just not who she is. She's very
like simplistic. Um, I just wish the fit was a little better. And I honestly thought it was
tailored a little too short in the hem too. I know you're supposed to see her, um, little shoes
peeking out but I don't know she needs to like yank it down or something when she got out of the
car anyway the veil however was a showstopper to me it's so romantic and one of the biggest
regrets of my life is that I didn't wear a big long lace veil and I think that any of our girls
that are engaged right now or are redoing another wedding need to get on that veil train I think it
is so beautiful with like the lace and so I guess the thing was is she wanted to honor the commonwealth
and um so she had a flower from each one of the commonwealth nations i think there's 53 of them
embroidered onto the giovanni veil which i thought was really pretty and very delicate
i tiara okay first of all she has to wear a tiara i'm not the biggest fan of
a tiara in general um because then you can't see you're like pretty updo so but i understand that
she's now a princess and like princesses wear tiaras so fine um okay so the tiara was fine
i really wanted her to wear diana's tiara i thought that would be such a beautiful homage
to princess diana and i thought diana's tiara it was a little bigger so maybe that's why she
don't want to she probably felt like it was too much i know she's trying to do like this i'm a
regular bride you're not a regular bride girl you're an actress turned princess so maybe i don't
know i was hoping she'd do that but i did find out some really cute information about the bouquet
so she honored princess diana with the bouquet because harry actually picked her bouquet from
the kensington palace garden that they tend to yeah right they don't tend to shit they have
people for that servants but anyway apparently they have a garden blah blah blah and he picked
the flowers the day before and he especially picked forget-me-nots which were princess
diana's favorite flower as a way to honor diana um in the little bouquet which i liked and i liked
that she didn't do you know the royal bouquets are usually those big bouquets that sort of like
cascade down it's like very 90s bouquet um i like that she kept her bouquet really really simple
because she had such a big veil um but that's about it i mean there's just not that much to
talk about because it was like i was slightly bored but i also understand that there are people
who are not showgirls and that want to have like a simple pretty dress maybe it would have been cute
if the back had been scooped out so she could have had that boat neck front and then like a pretty
low back i don't know the rules i know the queen had to approve the dress so like if the queen's
approving the dress maybe the queen is like to me between the two princesses the megan and the kate
even though i'm not a princess dress person like i'm always like oh try to you know be like a a
little bit more of an a-line dress or something like i'm never crazy about a princess dress i
thought kate just her dress fit her better she looked more put together megan to me was beautiful
and she's powerful and she's such a feminist and i love it and i love what she stands for and she
did look gorgeous but I just felt like it was a little messy and that is when we come to the hair
I love a messy bun I'm wearing a messy bun right now it's my hair's up in a scrunchie and it's wet
because I just got out of the shower and but the whole time I was watching the wedding I was like
someone get that girl some ultra spray hairspray and a tiny little comb from Dwayne Reed and put
those freaking hairs where they're supposed to be so the guy that did her hair is this guy
Serge Normont like font is how you pronounce his name and he does Sarah Jessica Parker's hair
he does Julia Roberts hair and you know those girls have had some epic epic epic updos in their
life so Serge knows his way around a bobby pin you know what I'm saying so I don't know how much
of the hairdo was Serge trying to appease Megan I also know that they haven't really worked together
before so it seems ballsy to me to work with a new hairstylist that you've never worked before
that's never had their hands in your hair before on your wedding day like wouldn't you want someone
who knows your style knows how you like your hair it kind of looked to me and this is just all
allegedly, that Serge put her in this middle part, slicked back bun coif thing. And she was like,
I want it to be messier. And she like went in the bathroom without him knowing. And she pulled out
those front pieces and she fucked it up a little. And I've certainly done that before on a red
carpet in my life. Um, and there was something was weird because I think Serge was going for a
very classic pulled back clean look. And then somewhere in between when he did her hair and
did that. And when she got to the wedding, someone with the hair, someone with it. And I
think it was Megan. I don't know if it was nerves. I don't know if she has a thing. Like
there's certainly people, and I've been guilty of this too, where you just do this. Like I blink
when I get nervous, like whenever I'm on TV and I'm blinking, blinking, blinking, you'll know that
I'm freaked out. But like some people play with their hair. I was really disappointed at the
little twigs on the left side like okay so the whole back hair was in the bun right we all now
we've all looked at the pictures and it was off to the right side so it was like the little ching
gong or whatever you say little bun bun and it was off to the right side and i totally was down
for it i was here for you i was feeling the off-center bun even though something off-centered
is like hard for me because i like everything to be even and perfectly placed but that's okay i was
feeling you i was begging what you're raking megan with your side bun but then there was like these
little two hairs that she had tucked behind her ear and you guys know exactly what I'm talking
about and those two little stray hands were poking out from behind her ear and I was like
no no no no no someone needs to right now get a freaking bobby pin and they need to put that tiny
bit of hair back because it just looked so messy and I was really mad at it follow the rules if
Serge wants you to have a perfect Julia Roberts winning her Oscar updo then you need to
obey Serge. I don't care if you're the Duchess, your Royal Highness. Anyway, so I thought the
hair looked good going into the church. And obviously I'm saying this all with a grain of
salt because she's like a 10 and I'm like a six. Like we all know she's the most gorgeous. So don't
yell at me on Twitter later. But my personal opinion was that it looked good going into the
church. Fine, fine. When it really fell apart was during the ceremony, the singing, it all started
fell apart. And then by the time she got out of the church, there was like all these pieces and
messiness and like the little flyaways in the front. And it just was not classic. And I know
she was going for this classic Audrey Hepburn look because Givenchy was the designer that
designed a lot of Audrey Hepburn's designs, especially when she won her Oscar. And she was
going for that really classic look. And so if you're going for that classic look, girlfriend,
you can't have a messy bun. You have to have a bouffant. And so I voted all week that she was
going to wear her hair down i think megan has beautiful hair i think 25 of it is her real hair
and i think 75 of it is extensions which no harm no foul live your best life um i thought she was
going to wear her hair down now knowing the dress and that boat neck you couldn't have worn your
hair down i just felt like it was messy and the last thing i'm going to say about judging her
like while I'm wearing, um, a old scrunchie bathrobe, no makeup and a slipper from the
hotel I'm staying in is I really, really needed Megan to have some blush. I'm going to tell you
something I've learned after years of having my makeup done. Nothing makes you look prettier
and more alive than a pop color cheek, like just a little bit of blush. Guys, I felt like she wasn't
wearing any makeup, which is fine. Maybe she's not a makeup girl. Maybe Harry likes her natural,
but there's like a way to do a natural makeup when you're on a global stage and you're going
to be photographed like a crazy person where it looks like you put some makeup on. Like it,
I felt like, where is your makeup? Like I get that she doesn't want a ton of foundation. She
loves her freckles to go through. I'm down for it. Like, was she even wearing lipstick guys?
like I'm not sure she was I mean yes okay I'm gonna wear showgirl lash and like two layers of
lashes at my wedding fine but that's me you don't have to wear full lash or whatever but it was like
it was like they did the edge of her eyebrow they did a tiny winged liner and then they were like
where's my chapstick like Megan you can't wear chapstick to your wedding like I Becca did a
great job like she was such a beautiful bride and she had such a natural look like it did not look
like my Becca was wearing a ton of makeup. She just looked glowy and beautiful. And I think with
Megan, the dress was so plain and there was just no glitz to it at all that I could have used like
the NARS orgasm blush on her with like a little pop of pink and then a tiny bit of highlight on
the cheek and just like a little bit of a lip, like not a hot pink lip, just like something on
your lips, like help the girl out. So I get it. She's really natural. She wants to be known as
like her charity work she doesn't want to be known as an actress but the problem is with megan is
that we've seen her on the red carpets we've seen her dolled up looking gorgie gorge gorge gorge
and she like kind of played it down and i think she wants to be like a regular girl now but you're
not a regular girl you're a princess put some goddamn blush on when we come back i'm going to
talk about everything else the lady gang okay welcome back i have so many more things to talk
about i'm going to continue on the fashion train and talk about all the beautiful guests at the
wedding. First of all, why the was Amal Clooney there? Does anyone know the connection other than
fellow humanitarian? Like guys, my head was spinning when Amal Clooney was there.
Are they friends? How do you become friends with Amal Clooney? Does Amal Clooney want to
be friends with Becca Jack and I? I mean, this is a C-list actress who has now become a princess
and friends with Amal Clooney. I don't even care about George. George is over. George is 1996. Like
I cared about George back at the first Ocean's Eleven or Ocean's Nine or Ocean's One or whatever
it was. Like I have moved on from George and I am fully invested in Amal and I am shooketh that
they were at the wedding. I had heard Serena Williams. I've seen them together. They've been
photographed together. They've been at charity events together. I've never seen Amal Clooney
and Megan together. I've Megan was not in any George Clooney movies. I bet she didn't even get
an audition for those movies. So I'm just saying it's crazy. And then the fact that not only were
George and Amal there, but they were in the VIP section. So you guys know there was two sections
of the church. The people in the back of the church were just the, Oh, we have to invite them
people. So the back is like the rejects of like the non rejects. Cause they're invited. And I was
just standing on the street outside. But then at the front, the sideways pew chairs were for like
the elite, like the super close friends. But like, how close are you? You've only been a princess to
be for like a year and a half and you've already forged your relationship in BFFdom with Amal
Clooney. And the other question I had when I saw Amal Clooney there was like, Megan, where are your
like high school besties? Where's the girls that like you got your periods together when you're in
fifth grade and you're still best friends. Where's your sorority sisters? Like, where are your
friends from Northwestern? I felt like, I felt like she had no friends, you guys. I felt like
she had just actor friends and famous friends because I kept looking for like, oh, these people
and I was beside the BBC. So they had this like tip sheet of everyone. And like, I swear to God,
all the girls that came in just like normal girls were either Harry's ex-girlfriends, which there
were two at the ceremony. They weren't invited to the night party, but it was just like other
royal aristocratic people. Like I've had the same best friends since I was in first grade.
She's been at both of my weddings. So I just was like, where are your friends? Where are your
people? And like, have you replaced them with Amal Clooney? Did you ditch your friends? Like
remember the TLC song? What about your friends? Will they let you down? Like, what about your
friends, Megan? Anyway, but we will talk about the fashion. Amal Clooney upstaged the bride,
in my opinion. Like when I saw Amal Clooney in that yellow Stella McCartney with her perfect
little fascinator and her perfect big blowout and that red lip, I was like, you know what?
I'm dead.
I'm dead.
God speed the rest of us trying to live our lives because Amal Clooney is suckling twins
to her breasts and then fighting as a human rights lawyer by day and then still having
time to have shiny, blown out, perfect hair, teeth, lips, outfit, hat.
Like when is Amal working out so she looks so good and neat?
Like she really is a special, special person and I felt like thank you Amal for coming
and giving me something to look at that was exciting during this wedding but also like
I don't know if wearing a power color yellow and a red lip to a wedding is possibly a little
bit like maybe Megan and Amal will not be BFFs after this because like I kind of was
more excited about Amal's outfit than Megan's.
I mean Megan's a bride so of course she's like the best and the prettiest and the most
beautiful, but like Amal was, she was pretty beautiful. Okay. Then Abigail Spencer. So Abigail
Spencer is really good friends. She plays Scotty on Suits and she's really good friends. I saw her
a week before the wedding when I was interviewing her for her show Timeless and she wouldn't tell
me if she's going or not, but obviously I knew she was going because they're like best friends.
When I saw Abigail walking down that like strutting runway of guests, like also what was
that camera angle? Like when the guests were arriving, there was like a jib shot. Were they
on a golf cart, like shooting these people like we were at the Beyonce concert. I mean, it was
incredible. BBC claps for you. I can't really clap yet because my hand doesn't work. But
anyway, Abigail Spencer was the one in the polka dots. It was Alessandra Rich. And I was like,
I can't tell if you've come out of a period movie or you're a wedding guest. And I do not care. I'm
living for it. There was a crystal belt. I felt like she literally went to the costume department
of timeless. And it was like, I need a dress. And they were like, here, take this polka dot dress
with the big collar. Like, but I loved it. I did not think it was cost. Like it was costumey,
but it was like costumey in all the right ways. Whereas like Camilla's fascinator was costumey
in all the wrong ways. Like that gave me Vegas showgirl flowers. Okay. Next Priyanka. Priyanka
Chopra is one of the most beautiful women in the world. I've interviewed her many times.
she is such a nice person she's absolutely freaking wonderful and so cool and has no idea
how famous she is and i was so disappointed in her outfit am i just like really over the
royal wedding because i've been here for like a month i don't know because i'm like i hate
everything but i don't hate everything i'm just saying priyanka wore this dior gold dress to like
the evening reception she was perfect but like i think that lilac purple is a hard color to wear
and I thought she looked a little mother of the bridey and I wanted her to be in something
a little different, but maybe that's just me. I loved her hat. She's fine. But then also let's
move on to this. How was Oprah there? Like Megan, first of all, deserves claps for like,
I'm going to lure in Prince Harry and become a princess. But on top of that, like not only are
you like, Oh, Amal Clooney's my friend. So I'll invite her to the wedding. You got Oprah to come
to your wedding. I've been asking Oprah to come on our podcast for two and a half years. And it
was really funny because just side note, the last time I pitched her and said, please come on the
podcast, they wrote back and they said, I'm so sorry, we're not doing any podcast press right
now. So then I wrote back and I was like, oh, that's okay. We have a TV show too. Does she
want to be on that? They didn't respond. Anyway, like how do you get Oprah to come to your wedding?
You're just like Oprah, like just because you're Oprah, have they met? Did they know each other?
Is she just like, Oh, Oprah's like basically the closest thing you can have to have God at your
wedding. Anyway, I thought Oprah looked so beautiful. I really loved her dress and I loved
her hat. And I felt like it was like Santa Claus showed up. Like I remember when they were walking
in, I saw Idris Elba and I was like, Oh, Idris Elba's here. Cool. And then I was like, is that,
is that, there's no way that's no, no, that's not Oprah. Why is like number one, why is Oprah there?
And number two, like, bravo for getting Oprah there.
Maybe they're friends.
Okay, next.
The rest of the suits cast, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
They were fine.
No one stood out to me, even though I'm a massive fan of suits.
I just felt like it was, like, snooze, snooze, snooze, snooze.
Then Victoria Beckham and David Beckham came.
You guys, David Beckham is a fox.
Like, we already knew that.
I don't need to say that out loud.
Like, I don't need to state the obvious.
But, like, David Beckham is getting better as he gets older.
And it is tragedy for every other person in the world.
Like, why is he so good looking?
Like is, I just don't even understand how that's possible.
Like he's so good looking and it's just mind blowing.
Anyway, Victoria Beckham, everyone has been very upset that she didn't smile.
I'm like, number one, stop telling people to smile.
That's not nice.
And second of all, like, have we not been following Posh Spice for 25 years?
Like she's never smiled.
it doesn't matter what royal wedding it is it doesn't matter if it's christmas it doesn't
matter if she's literally banging david beckham she's not opening her mouth she's not a smiler
she's posh spice for a reason let her live in grimace town by herself with her funeral outfit
that she designed herself from her multi-million dollar brand she won guys it doesn't yes you know
what she doesn't need to sell she doesn't need to pretend that she's happy she won she's married
to David Beckham. That's it. That's all I'm going to say. And she's so pretty. Um, the only thing
that bothered me about Victoria Beckham is you could really tell she had a fake ponytail. And
I thought the ponytail was much shinier than her real hair. And that's how you can tell when it's
you like, listen, she's not having a synthetic ponytail. Although the person who does her hair
is Ken paves, who is Jessica Simpson's hairstylist. And remember back like 10 years ago,
Jessica Simpson and Ken paves put out a line of synthetic ponytails that you could buy and
clip into your head. So perhaps this was a synthetic ponytail that he brought back from
the early 2000s, Jessica Simpson collection. I don't think she would go for that. Victoria's
pretty good taste, but I could tell it was a fake ponytail. And I thought just like,
just put it in a little bun. Like it's okay. God's fair. You don't have a mall Clooney hair,
but you have Debbie Beckham as a husband and a mall stuck with gray Fox, George Clooney. Okay.
Um, when we come back, I'm going to talk about my experience in Windsor.
the lady gang so let's get back to me the most important part no um so i was in london uh i
stayed you know for two and a half weeks and so we started in london and i did all kinds of fun
things like tours on the stop like our bus and i went out to windsor horse show and i met the
queen's horses and i saw the queen which was like a trip first of all the queen is like becca's size
she's so small i feel like in some season of the crown when the queen is old they should literally
get Becca Tobin a player. Cause they're exactly the same size. They're like little bitty poly
pockets anyway. Um, and so we just did like a lot of shooting around London. I went to all of like
the hotspots that Harry and Megan go to and blah, blah, blah, blah. Then we headed out to Windsor,
but we actually stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Slough. And Slough is a town outside Windsor
because you couldn't actually get a hotel in Windsor because it was just too busy. Um, so
listen i'm never mad at a holiday inn like i appreciate your tiny slivers of soap that you
give me when i'm trying to like get clean um anyway so what was really exciting is that my
sister lives in walkingham which is like right near slough so i got to see her like a couple
times over the trip which was cool anyway let me take a drink of this tea so we go to windsor and
windsor is freaking crazy first of all there's people selling flags and masks of harry and megan
and the queen's face and also their corgi face like a little dog face and flags with and on
every corner there's more tchotchkes for this royal wedding than anywhere else like it is insane
so the first day we were there i was like oh this isn't going to be so bad it's going to be totally
fine like it wasn't packed it wasn't that busy they had already put up like the street closure
guards and stuff but i was like oh yeah it's going to be fine no big deal and we rented a horse-drawn
carriage and i shot in the horse-drawn carriage and here's when i had a real little accident
so I'm shooting the horse-drawn carriage and my cameraman is standing up and he's trying to shoot
me backwards like so I'm riding the carriage and then we went over a big bump and he fell and he
fell right onto my busted hand and I wasn't wearing my cast because I was being vain and I
didn't want to have my big clunky cast on the camera during the row wedding and so then it
set me really back like I was fine and I was healing up great and then it was really sore
for a couple days so whatever anyway enough about me anyway Windsor was really cute so then we go
back and then it is the day before the Royal wedding. And so at like noon, I think my producer
yells to me and she's like, Harry's coming out. We've heard from the cops. So we heard this like
rumor that Harry was going to come out and see the crowds. So then I go downstairs and I stand
there for six hours waiting for Harry to come out. He's going to come out at two. It doesn't come
out. He's going to come out at three. It doesn't come out. We have no official word from the palace
that he's even going to come out. But remember William did that walkabout. So we were like,
oh, maybe Harry will come out. He finally came out at 6 PM. Let me tell you something. The photo
op was so staged. They were like, oh, he's coming out to meet the adoring fans in Windsor. Brother
came out for about 1.5 minutes. He met three people and took photos and walked right back
into that castle. Like I was in a prime position. I was so close. I was probably 50 people away from
him. And I was like, no big deal. He's going to walk down here. I'm going to ask him a question
on camera i'm just gonna shake his hand or like steal a little lock of his hair by the way he's
definitely gonna be bald like william and so i'm glad he scored a hottie like megan now because i
think harry might not be cute bald but anyway that's beside the fact anyway he came out he
kissed one baby and he went right back inside so do not let all those beautiful photos of him
greeting the crowd fool you because i was so disappointed because i stood there for all those
hours and then he literally went and was kind of behind this like statue of victoria queen
victorious i couldn't really see him and then he walked right back in the whole thing was three
minutes tops and there was so many cops there's cops machine guns cops on horses cops i mean it
was crazy so anyway then i was pissed then i was like you know what that's not cool we've been
waiting here you should have talked or walked by like do a lap just do a little lap in that little
area and like high five everyone as you go like you're running on to the lakers game like you
don't have to stop and like kiss every baby but just like do a lap don't just go to two people
take your photo like it was so contrived anyway so then we had a really good spot to see everything
and so we thought well we can't lose the spot so then my boss hired people to stay outside and
sleep on the street with all of our equipment so that on the royal wedding day i could stand in
that same spot and see the carriage come by and see all the excitement and it was amazing so then
i got dressed in my green dress that you saw on my instagram and my little fascinator i felt very
pretty. And I went outside and it was batshit crazy. I mean, guys, I have been to the Super
Bowl. I've been to the Oscars. I've been to like crazy crowded Thanksgiving day parade.
This was like nothing I've ever seen in my life. And what was so cool about it is that so many
people that were just going to like stand there and watch them drive by for five seconds slept
out the whole week before. But then the people that came that day, everyone dressed up. Like
everyone was in these beautiful little party dresses with fascinators and like coolers and
blankets and having like party party party time and it was just so festive and so wonderful and
the coolest thing that happened to me on the street was when inside the church they had these
loudspeakers so you could like hear everything that was going on and when the beautiful beautiful
gospel choir was singing stand by me um and outside on the street all of windsor started
singing stand by me too so it was like we all joined in in a big royal wedding sing-along and
you know how I love like a festive moment um so I was so happy and I thought that was really sweet
I thought that choir was so beautiful and I did really appreciate that she brought like some of
her culture um to the row wedding it wasn't so stiffy like I loved the pastor I mean crazy but
I loved it and I loved the choir like I just thought it had so much soul and heart which I
loved um anyway so then I was out on the street for the wedding and when they came by in the
carriage, et cetera. And then I couldn't get back inside. So here I am with just a tiny little like
sock sleeve on my wrist because I was like, again, I'm vain. I don't want to have this big cast for
the royal wedding. So I'm walking through the crowd with my hand above my head being like,
hi, I have a broken arm. Can I get by? It was like sardines in a can times 1 million.
And it was not people that I wanted to be sardined with. It was like other types of people
mixed in with like the homeless population of Windsor mixed in with people that had been
sleeping on the street for a week. So it was colorful and smelly. Anyway, it took me, we were
probably 10, 15 feet away from the entrance to the hotel of where we were like kind of doing our
base camp sort of thing. It probably took me an hour to walk like in all of the, I mean, it was
so many people. And the most surprising thing is how many people brought their tiny dogs. Like,
I don't know if 100,000 people going on a small town that used to usually has like 20,000 people
is the time you bring your tiny chihuahua and walk them around like the amount of us all stomping
around and then hearing like like little babies getting their paws stepped on I was like this is
not responsible pet ownership like I really felt like either put that doggie in a backpack put it
in your arms but do not let it walk between all these feet it's little paws are going to get
stepped on and it was there's so many dogs I did meet later on up on the hill this very beautiful
beagle puppy and the problem with me is that every time I meet a beagle puppy I want it to be hobo
and it's not and they don't look at me like hobo used to look at me and like just stare at me like
we'd have a connection and we just sit there for like an hour like staring at each other and having
a conversation through our minds this puppy didn't even look me in the eye so I was like well you're
not hobo reincarnated obviously anyway um okay guys well that is kind of what I think about the
