Starting point is 00:01:16 Hello. I had one drink last night. I feel not hungover, but you know when your head feels just so foggy? Yeah. How is that possible? It's such a bad feeling because then you're just as useless as a hangover. One drink. What did you have? I made myself a vodka soda at home. I never do that. wow you know what i want to tell you something um they this is a current sponsor of lady gang but i took it out into the wild the willie nelson thc drink is incredible i did this this was four nights ago for me so i am here by myself zach's gone i'm parenting you know parenting so hard and I looked at that in my fridge and I thought, well, first of all, it's a beautiful bottle. It's a gorgeous, stunning bottle. And I was like, you know what? I love like to end my evening
Starting point is 00:02:21 occasionally by like hitting a little joint or whatever. And I was looked at and I was like, no, I'm going to have, I'm going to make myself like a little drink with the serving size. Like I was very responsible and I liked that they have it on there. It's like basically a shot glass is like the five milligrams or is enough. It was lovely. Really? Lovely. I used it instead of tequila in a margarita. I went to a party and I brought the bottle, you know, because that's what you do. You're like, what do I have in my canter that I can re-gift? No, because I had two. And I brought it and I had the girl and she was the little mixologist. And I was like, can you make me like a margarita with this. And she did like some fresh fruit in the margarita. It was, and
Starting point is 00:03:07 the high, it wasn't even a high. It was like the feeling of tequila, but just, I had no hangover. It was tipsy. I was fun. I was like really good at charades, but like, it was great. I, I may switch over full time. It also tastes delicious. So good. Anyway. Okay. Well, sorry about that but sometimes with the weed stuff it's they if they make it taste too good then you really want more like when the gummies are so yummy you're like well I really would like to taste that again but I don't want to be high off my ass yeah so yeah I was like I enjoyed sipping on it and I was like well I wish I could have more but this night would turn weird and I'm alone you're like I'm by myself I have to say this um this weekend I had a lot of
Starting point is 00:03:58 Chris has been out of town. I had a lot of by myself time. I watched the funnest documentary. It's called, it's very old. It's called, I want to know if you were there, Becca. I didn't see you, but I saw a bunch of people we know. Tony Robbins. It's called Every Little Step. No, it was- Oh, it's Chorus Line. Chorus Line. Okay. So it's on Amazon Prime video. They made a documentary, like a real life fame documentary in New York City, lo-fi people are on flip phones jack this is like how old this is and it's all the kids they were bringing chorus line back to broadway and so it was like a revival and they were casting it and they showed the entire casting process from like the rooms the 600 girls in line they're like
Starting point is 00:04:43 they're like all we're doing is type and a double pirouette and i was like oh my god because i like romanticize this because when you see it in movies you're like that can't be real and then i was like no, this was real. I stood in front of Marguerite Derricks for the nine movie in a black bodysuit and she went down the line and just touched you if she thought you had the right look. Like you didn't even get to dance. That's how I got West Side Story. Shut up. Really? Yeah. He walked down the line. I mean, I had to then dance and sing, but he was like, he cut 50% of the people in the room because he was like, you have to be a jet or a shark. And you know, that's it. You're not. Anyway, were you there? Did you audition for that?
Starting point is 00:05:21 No, I think it was before I was in New York. I can't remember the year that it was, but I remember it was before. All the dancer people like the Tice D'Orio, the Rochelle Rack, like they're all in it. And then they're really good singers. Anyway, it was really fun. And then at the best part at the end is like, there's this girl who's like so lovely and she's driving in from New Jersey and she, they come out to like the callbacks and they're like, we're going to see you as like a backup. Like we want to, we want to continue to see you, but just so you know, you're not in the running for the lead. You're in the running for like the backup Val and the backup, whatever Sheila. And she's like, oh, okay. And so then she goes to the audition and the other
Starting point is 00:06:02 two girls were cunty and they were like, we're here for Val. And the girl's like, I'm here for backup Val. And she got it. She got Val. Was it Jessica Lee Golden? I think so. Blonde? Yeah. Yeah. Was that the same? Did they do it twice though? Was that the Mario Lopez horse line? This was the one before. Yeah. Okay. So that was a different person. Yeah. So I definitely had three names though. She had three names. Anyway. Yeah. Anyway, it was really a dream and it was so great. Like she goes to the, sorry, Jack, this is boring for you, but she goes to like this store to get the right shoes. And it's just like, it's really special. I loved it. I cried and I haven't cried in like six months. Well, actually I haven't cried. I haven't cried in
Starting point is 00:06:44 six weeks you know what's crazy is that i watched that not long ago because i was i put together a deck with a friend of mine from the broadway days for a show um a reality show kind of like not the exact same format but like taking anyways and i won't bore you jack but i put this whole thing together and then we took it to a couple production companies and everybody's feedback was like, people just don't go for Broadway stuff. And I was like, oh, really Wicked? Really Wicked in the theaters? Remember Wicked? That started on Broadway. So anyways, do you want to hear something insane insider information? I was at a brunch and I agree with you. I would watch it. And I actually think with the success of all the
Starting point is 00:07:33 Disney shows and Wicked and stuff, people would now watch a Broadway, like a DCC Broadway style. I was at like a dinner with a very, very high up executive who owns Radio City or maybe doesn't work there anymore. It was so cunty. And I was like, the DCC show is so good. It was like right when that was all happening this summer. And I was like, I don't understand why they don't do a Rockette one because there's even more drama. It's more perfection. They're even harder on you. It's like more bleeding toes. You got to be nice, but they'd be so good. And he looked at me and he goes, well, there's a reason they don't do the raw cat one. And he's like, the raw cats are not cheerleaders. Like the raw cats are not hot is what he was saying. Yeah. I did think that's what
Starting point is 00:08:19 was about to happen when you were talking. Here's the thing. The raw cats are quite asexual. They're quite asexual. Oh, are they? Yeah. Yeah. Not like in their everyday lives. Just like it's a slick it's a dancer girl it's like not a sexy costume even though there's so much skin showing you're like how can you not have any sex appeal without that like it's like such a mind but i get it it's it's but also also he's a idiot because you know who's watching dcc women there's no men sitting there did zach's not like i can't wait to see if so and so makes he's not watching charlie i can't wait i'm not watching them because they have nice tits i would still watch the asexual Rockettes. It's the sisterhood. It's the dreams coming true. It's the hard ass boss. It's the
Starting point is 00:09:09 bleeding feet. It's the boot fitting. It's the, you know what I mean? Yeah. No, he's an idiot. So dumb. But also like they would never do that, but it would be fascinating. Like I think all of that. They should because more people would go see the shows. A hundred percent. That was the whole thing. It's like nobody really watched the cheerleaders. I mean, the perverts watched the cheerleaders at the Cowboys games. Now everybody's watching the cheerleaders at the Cowboys games. I bet you people are going to games to see the cheerleaders now. A hundred percent. God, I love it so much. But see, oh yeah. Okay. I'm just, you know, a hot shirt will really do a lot of things. Okay. So listen, when we come back, we have something

Starting point is 00:13:09 a fun little thing to do so wait you should do this dog you should paint them sounds to be morbid so dark so lady you should follow in jack vanek's footsteps and start drawing and painting and selling your stuff it's very good i know it's so good it's so cute it they sketch it for you and then they teach you like step by step so who all right it's like you know one of those painting like painting with a twist or whatever those like i didn't know these existed i don't even paint your pet okay is this like a dot com or is this a class you go to it's no it's a class like in person oh you go you have to leave the house you have to leave the house i like leaving the house okay yeah some people like to socialize kelty yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:13:58 how long mom so i need to get out when i can how many kids do you have i have two and what are the ages four year old oh wow boy girl girl is oldest boy is youngest so so we both have boys around the same age so you're tired i'm tired he's exhausting but also it's like they say and they really love their moms so right do you find that he's he loves you more than your daughter does oh 100 like I still am their favorite of like the two parents both of them would say that but it's just a different like he just loves me love yeah like just wants to hold my hand wants to be on me with me hugging me like he just loves me in a different way that she does yeah well girls are bitches yeah I'm still her favorite but I keep telling my husband like don't worry when she's
Starting point is 00:14:54 a teenager it'll switch and you'll get her and it's true yeah it's true so crazy so okay are you gonna do all activities what activities are you looking forward to most I'm kind of struggling because I kind of thought like oh I'll like sit on the beach some and read but like everything looks so fun that I like, I think I'm just going to be like hitting up every single activity. That's what we'd like to hear. Yeah. Well, selfishly, I would like for you to join me with my friend Kim, who is one of the big wigs at Bobby formula, and we're going to just bitch about being moms. So I hope that you'll come to my class. That was one. I kind of like, you know, I went through the schedule, very a type like this one, this one, trying to figure out like,
Starting point is 00:15:42 what could I weed out? And that was one I really wanted to do. Do you have any suggestions for us? We're really going to fly by the seat of our pants. I mean, obviously we're going to intro it by doing like the formula spiel. Um, did you, this is a personal question. Did you use formula with your children? I did. I struggled very much to breastfeed and I was very like sad that I couldn't and thought I was a bad mom. And actually finally my dad was like, Hey, you know, Charles Manson was breastfed and look at how it turned out. And I started laughing. I was like, thanks dad. He's like, I don't know if that's true, but I made it up. He was just like, I just want you to quit stressing. Like, it'll be fine. What a dad. I think at five months I switched with my
Starting point is 00:16:24 daughter. And then, so with my son, I was like, I'm going to give you two months. Cause like Sid's statistics save months of breast milk. And then I was like, I'm done. I'm not dealing with the stress of that. That's so nice. Dads are the best. When I was struggling with all the pregnancy stuff and we ended up going the surrogacy route, I told my parents and I thought they would be like a little bit, not sad, but like, Oh, okay. Like having to kind of reframe what that looks like. And my dad goes, well, that's good. I'm glad you finally realized that you suck at being pregnant. And I was like, that's the nicest thing anybody has said to me. Like, you really see me.
Starting point is 00:17:05 You see me. It's true. It's true. Dads are the best. I care so much and want you to be happy. They don't care how you do it. It's so true. It's so true.
Starting point is 00:17:17 And I'm a C-section mom and a home birth mom. So I also have that. What order did you do that in? C-section, then home birth. Whoa. Do you remember your home birth at all or is it all a blur? no 100 remember it it was honestly like i sound like a weirdo but it was like magical no no i hear this a lot coming from unplanned c-section terrible yeah it was i just had him
Starting point is 00:17:47 in my house then got to be like right on my bed it was december so i had the heat it was like warm and cozy and it was great my husband's the hardest thing he's ever done but was he so stressed out he said it just was so hard to like keep lying to me and tell me like it's almost over when he really didn't know it was almost over and like oh my god not being able to like help in a real tangible way did you do like a water thing or were you just like on all four you did the water like water they had they come and like fill up a tank and i had a midwife just called her when i was ready for her to come and she filled the tub and it was great that's so cool dude you really deserve this vacation I know I know oh my gosh was your daughter there my friend had her older
Starting point is 00:18:35 daughter in the room when her son was born my daughter is very kind of emotional and has a lot of like anxiety and stuff so I thought oh she will think I'm like in pain and dying and this will just make it harder for me so yeah traumatizer my husband I even sent the dog away too and just oh just us we watched cheers i think we watched the cleveland browns game like like it was just so nice you can eat when you want drink when you want yeah i love this what is your movie my daughter like hey i've got both both ends of the spectrum when you're ready to have that you know journey i can tell you what's best what's you know what sucked what was good that's really cool it's very cool i love it well you really deserve this trip and i want to
