LadyGang - LG Quickie: Rizz That Ate the Baddies Era
Episode Date: March 19, 2026Today, the girls defend their podcast mics, drag Gen Alpha, debate whether Becca’s tiny tyrant son is already running the world and discuss fertility ethics as Keltie pitches a truly unhing...ed Housewives-inspired theory about daughters donating eggs to their moms, and somehow it only gets messier from there. Keltie presents a full list of words and phrases we’re apparently no longer allowed to say, sending the gang into absolute chaos over terms like “adulting,” “girl dinner,” “mid,” “hard launch,” and “in my ___ era.” Plus, they spiral over Timothée Chalamet randomly hating ballet, defend cringe millennial language with their lives, and discover that Jac may secretly be 87 years old thanks to her beloved sailor idioms. Podcast One presents The Lady Gang, The Hollywood Girl Posse.
With Lady Gang Quickie, here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Let's make this quick.
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Lady Gang Quickie. I am Becca here with Jack and Kelty.
Hello.
We were all applying our lips.
Yeah. You guys, someone on Instagram, or no, on Facebook said,
girls, these mics aren't it.
What?
On our video.
That's rude.
Does it mean like they sound bad or they look bad?
I think that it looks bad.
What are you supposed to have?
Well, guess what? It's a podcast, so...
I don't know what you expect us to do.
It doesn't need to look good.
you and your feedback probably some gen a feisty today gen oh gen alpha
how old are they because ford is gen alpha i think that gen alpha just stopped so like when
i have a kid it'll be gen beta whoa which is like beta seems right for your kid though to be honest
with you like having a little jet we love a frog you love a fish oh i'm well beta is usually like
a pushover yeah well your kid's not gonna be an asshole you and jared are both pleasant lovely
humans may and bill are the grandparents it's gonna be swaddled in you know who's not beta is
my alpha child yes alpha big time he's big alpha energy don't tell me what to do don't tell me what
to do i'll kill you are you gonna have another kid or no you decide not to i don't know i mean
I'm not getting any younger, but those embryos are frozen in time.
Frozen in time.
You could have them when you're like 80.
That's the beauty of it.
Can I ask you something really, and this is like, this is not at all what I wanted to
talk about today, but it's something that I've been thinking a lot about.
And I, I'm just going to tell you guys, and you tell me if I'm completely off base here.
I am excited.
There's a storyline on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills right now where Boze, she's
in her late forties and she's finally met, she had a daughter, um, when she was quite young and
she had, I don't want to quote it, but like, I think she had a pregnancy before that, that she
lost quite late term. Like she's had a lot of like fertility issues, but she's a full grown
daughter who's like off to college now. And she's beautiful. And her husband passed away. Yeah. So
now she's met the new, like another love of her life, like the second act. And he really wants
a child but she has no eggs frozen no embryos frozen so she's been as part of the season she's
been going through the fraternity fertility journey and I mean I knew it was bad when they
and I think she's incredibly brave for showing this all on camera and I think it's a great
reminder because there's so many young girls watching Bravo that'll be like oh I gotta go do
my eggs now before I get old you know but she got like two eggs from her egg retrieval and I was
like how old was she when she was doing it she's like 40s she's like late 40s right now
Yeah.
Is she 50?
No.
I love her.
She might be in her, no, there's no way she's 50.
Because isn't Dorit the youngest?
Okay, Becca's going to-
No, Amanda Francis is the youngest.
Oh, yeah.
Cult's favorite.
And so, anyway, so she got two eggs and I was like, oh, like after the genetic testing
and all that stuff, like two eggs is not good, you know?
She's 49.
Yeah, 49.
Okay.
So it's been very, very heartbreaking to watch.
Two embryos or two eggs?
Because if they genetically tested it, that means embryos.
No, they only got two eggs.
Oh.
But they genetically tested them?
There was two eggs, and then they embryoed, and then none of them, like, worked.
Oh, I see.
I see.
Okay.
I don't want to quote it exactly, but it's something like that.
They had two, and then we had nothing viable, and it was, like, very, very heartbreaking.
Okay.
Here's my f***ed up idea.
Great.
I think I know where it's going.
Okay.
I know.
I know.
You do?
And I know it's wrong.
Just having a daughter's egg?
okay yes is that that because here's the thing her next choice is gonna be an egg donor right
like if if she wants to the next thing is his sperm and an egg donor which people do all the
time like if your egg you know it's still him and they can choose still carry it she can still carry
it you know hopefully i don't know what her other issues have been but like that would be the next
thing and i was like well if you want your dna in it what if it was your daughter's egg like if she
was your egg donor because I know a lot of sisters that have considered this because like then I said
it to Chris I was like why doesn't the daughter he was like that's so because then the daughter
would be the mom and I was like well I had a friend in New York whose mom had her at 15
and grandma raised her as the mom like that happens all the time I just feel like it would
have to be a really in-depth conversation and the daughter really knew what she was doing
You know what I mean?
Like if somebody is so young like that.
I guess it is weird for your daughter to procreate with your husband.
Yeah.
Like ethically, I don't know.
Yeah.
Her daughter is like not old enough to like make that decision.
And also, you know, the sisters that I know who have either done it or considered it,
the sister who gave the eggs already had her own children, biological children.
So it's like it's not as precious, dare I say.
It's kind of like surrogacy, like our surrogate had to have had her own child so that like
ours was not the first like special thing, whatever.
But I understand where your brain goes.
But the beautiful thing now is that there's really amazing egg donors.
And I think some of my people that I know that have used egg donors, they go into the
situation being obviously very bummed out that they can't use their own genetics.
But then they go in and they're like, wait, but I found this, like, even better, more beautiful, smarter version of me.
Super hot.
I know, but when you're Bose and you're like, I used to run Pepsi, like.
Yeah, there is no better version of her.
No, there's not.
But, like, you know, it's kind of, I don't know.
It's, I feel for her.
That's very sad.
Yeah, that's really hard.
I know.
And he, like, really wants a baby.
And then I'm like.
He doesn't have kids.
And then she's like, are you going to, no.
She's like, are you going to leave me if I can't have kids?
Like, it's like.
Just do an egg donor.
yeah I know well we'll see next season if she comes back um okay when we come back uh I have
an official list of words we're never allowed to say again the lady gang okay we're back so
uh you know I still love a magazine uh Vanity Fair put out a list of the banned words for elders
moving forward we can never use again and you guys because they're like they're like they're
Cheugy? Yes. Like, you ate your lunch, not your annual review. Fetch never happened. These
expressions did, and now it's time to file them away. Like, these are the things we can't say
they've been overused. Okay, so obviously 6-7, which we never used anyway. No. Adulting. Adulting,
we're not allowed to say it anymore. I mean, I kind of get it. Yeah. Aesthetic. Aesthetic? Well,
what are we supposed to use instead? Like, what's our alternative? Do they offer that?
They didn't offer us alternatives.
You can't just be like, oh, my new aesthetic.
The difference between like adulting and like 6-7 is like those were like words and phrases that were created recently where like aesthetic has been a word that's been around since the dawn of time.
Yeah.
Yeah, I agree.
Anyway, they said we're not allowed to use it.
Denied.
You're not allowed to say ate.
Yeah, like you ate that.
She ate that.
I would never.
Ew.
Who's using these terminology?
I feel like these are Gen Z terms.
They are.
Adulting is millennial.
Oh, yeah.
No, eight.
Cringe millennial.
People use eight on the red carpet.
Like, she ate that.
I guess.
Well, they're trying to be young and cool.
So it's like by attempting to be young and cool, you just seem even older.
Yeah.
It's going to really break your heart.
I don't ever want to hear someone call anyone or themselves a baddie.
Is that on the list?
Baddie is not on the list.
I despise the term baddie.
I think it is the worst.
No, there's only one baddie that I approve of, which is the Staples baddie.
Have you guys seen the Staples baddie?
This bitch.
There's this fabulous girl and she has nails like this and crazy makeup, long hair.
She works at Staples and she'll be like, oh, you like she just started this Instagram and
she would go around Staples and she's like, you want to know about post-its?
Here's what we got, girl.
and then well you you learn that staples can basically do anything everything it's the best
marketing ever and she's like the staples baddie you know she goes around and now she's getting
like influencer boxes and stuff she's got followers and she's like you want us to print you a big head
on cardboard okay girl let's do it and then she does like asmr anyway she's between that's fine
between the staples baddie and then there is this sweet little man that works at dillard's and he
shows you a whole have you seen him no he shows you all wearing a skinny jean he's so cute he's
like tiny and like adorable but he like he'll show you like the new the new arrivals at Dillard's
and it's like I never knew that Dillard's sold really nice lampshades honestly there's a Dillard's
right by my house it it really slaps yeah it eats it eats it eats it ate slaps um okay we're not
allowed to say binge anymore okay binge watching something you're not allowed to say in the
dictionary like chopped unless it's about food yeah like chapel gang or yes you're chopped unless
it's food okay you're not allowed to say classy which don't worry no one was about us anyway
you're not allowed to say creator as a job title you have to like be better about what your job is
can't just be creator you can't say cringe which we literally did explaining this first thing
you can't say there's no other word for cringe well is there i don't know you can't say curated
okay you can't say delulu which i'm ready to let go of that i'm ready to let go of delulu yeah
um you can't do a dump like um here's my home dump post okay like here's my lady gang photo dump
Who wrote this?
Vanity Fair?
A man named Daniela.
A woman.
A woman?
You may not say during the pandemic.
So what are you supposed to say?
COVID times?
You may not say for the plot.
I don't like for the plot.
I don't even know what that means.
Yeah, they're like, do it for the plot.
Yeah.
Like for the story?
You may not say girl dinner.
Okay.
I've never said any of these things.
I mean, I enjoy a girl dinner.
You are probably the most susceptible to this vernacular, so I feel like...
I'm like, I was during the pandemic.
I gave you a girl dinner dump.
Can we start bullying people telling us what's cool and what's not?
That's what I'm saying.
Like, get over us.
Who the fuck is Daniela?
Get over us, Daniela.
Stop thinking about me like this.
It's also just, like, it's so funny how, like, boomers hate millennials so much, but then Gen Z hates millennials so much.
And we're just, like, trying to live.
Just trying to live.
Also the best generation.
And it's, like, why is everybody so jealous?
They're so jealous.
They're all jealous.
Also, aren't they the generation of, like, not being mean girls or bullies?
You guys, I don't know how old Daniella and Maggie are.
I don't know how old they are.
Moral high ground bullshit.
Like, so f***ing mean.
What's their last name?
daniella what i want to see them up daniella and maggie you're not allowed to say hard launch
and maggie are definitely gen z you cannot say hard launch and becca you'll be happy about this
you can't say in my blank era oh yeah yeah that's that's gone but also just i don't do what you want
to do everybody i don't well i did just get upset about baddie so i guess i am we're selected we're
picking and choosing which ones work for us.
But like Vanity Fair, Vanity Fair do better.
Here's another one.
How is this a Vanity Fair article?
It's beautiful.
Now, I just want to, there's a couple really important ones on page two.
Two pages?
You can't do Luke.
Luke.
L-E-W-K?
L-E-W-K.
You can't do it anymore.
This is my Oscar.
Luke.
It's out.
Yeah, you like that.
Making X my whole personality.
Like making desperation my whole personality.
Can't do it.
You also can't use mid, which I've loved using mid.
Mid is pretty good.
Mid, Daniela, I will fight you for mid.
You know, actually, no, you can change this.
We can do this right now.
This is the best thing I've ever heard.
We were at my friend's lake house with a bunch of kids, like 10-year-old-ish age.
And this one little girl walks up to my friend's son.
He's so cute.
Like, he's just one of those cute kids.
and she walks over and she goes hey blank do you think I'm pretty and he looks at her and he goes
medium so my friend who's a casting director is like I have used medium which is mid you know
what I mean it's like but she will be like oh yeah I like I need somebody blah blah blah like
Like, she's, like, I need someone beautiful, and she's a more medium.
That's great.
It's such a dig.
I feel like I'm medium, which is, like, honestly high.
No, you're not.
No, you're not medium.
I want to be a low, low-baddie medium with my look.
Six, seven.
I want to be a mid-medium.
Okay, you are not allowed to say not on my bingo card, which I've been enjoying, too.
Like, it wasn't on my bingo card that Timothee Chalamet would hate ballet.
I like that.
I don't mind that one.
Not with those legs.
Like, I thought Timothee, but then I got confused because it's the other guy that did the ballet.
Why is everybody so pissed at him?
Because he said no one cares about ballet.
Or the orchestra symphonies or something.
Or the symphony.
Or the opera.
Oh, the opera.
And then here's the problem is that I say stupid shit all the time, but I'll say it once and then I realize it was dumb.
The problem is then we unpacked years.
timothy chalamet has been saying nobody cares about ballet and opera for like six or seven
years like in multiple interviews multiple events that is such a weird hill to die on
like it's like almost one of his talking points is like so he wants to be a movie star because
he doesn't want to be involved in something that you have to like force people to go to and i was
like sorry at now that the oscars are over i can tell you this nobody's going to the movies
No.
Movies are dead.
Movies are dead.
You don't know who the movie star is in 10 years.
I went to an event the other night in Austin, and it's like a South by Southwest time.
So everyone from L.A. is coming in town or whatever.
And there's this actor who's hosting this event.
And he's like, obviously, like trying to be a movie star, right?
Like he's just really trying.
Yeah.
He's done a couple movies, but he's like not, you know.
A star.
So my friend, Linda O'Byrne, she goes, who's going to tell him movies are dead?
I was like, it's so true.
Well, it's so true. And even the hype, I was like, I really wanted to see Wuthering Heights. I was like, this actually seems like something I'd want to see. And then like a week passed and Jared's like, you still want to go? And I was like, no.
I felt exactly the same way. I was like, I really want to see it in the theater. I would go have the popcorn and my Diet Coke. And then I was like, but I'll just wait till it comes on my TV.
I won't even see it then.
Because I could be knitting.
I don't watch movies.
Okay, final one for the day.
We have to let go of Riz.
It's fine.
Yeah.
And Unk.
You can't say Unk anymore.
I don't really understand what Unk even means.
You also can't say Unalive.
Jack, that's for your podcast.
What are you supposed to say, dead?
No, this was a problem to begin with.
People started saying Unalived like on TikTok
because they thought that they were getting like shadow banned
by using the word, like, killed or murdered.
But then it's like, that was all just made up anyways.
So it was just, and then it sounds stupid,
and then it almost, like, euphemizes being murdered.
You're like, oh, they got unalived.
It makes it, like, cutesy.
Seems too cutesy for me.
Yeah, you're right.
It's, like, it's a kitschy way of saying dead.
It's a little too mid.
It's like, no, they got brutally murdered.
But you're right.
They got unalived.
yeah if i were like murdered in you know my home by my husband and someone was like
she was unalived no and that's a disservice to me it is and then the like instead of being like
brutally shot in the head with a gun it'll be like they got unalived by a pew pew that sounds
that's how i like that it's like baby talk for murder it is it's very it's like infantilizing
murder. You know what? Jack, as the host of a murder actually crime podcast, you should call
Danielle and tip Maggie and let them know that we need an entire list for murders. I mean, I don't,
I don't, I don't like the cut of their jib. What? Oh God. What? Did you say you don't want
to cuddle their jib? I don't like the cut of their jib. Isn't that the saying? What? I have
I've never heard this in my whole life.
Wait, don't make me second-guess myself.
The cut of your jib?
This is like when you used to say, um...
You guys, this is a...
Wait.
Like, Jack, that cut of your jib sounds like a sausage you got at the deli.
No, this is like when you said, grinds my gears, and I was like, what?
Grinds, these are both very common sayings.
No, I had only heard it the first time Jack used it 10 years ago, but this is boomer terminology, no?
No, well, yes.
I like the fact your jib is an idiom, meaning you approve of a person's general appearance, style, or demeanor, origin, derived from the naval practice of identifying a ship's nationality or friendliness by the shape of its front or jib sail.
I thought I just made that up for a second.
You guys really had me questioning my synonyms.
I had never heard it in my life.
And Danielle, please let us know if you approve cut of your jib.
Anyway, this was fun.
Actually, you know what?
This was really fun.
Love you guys.
It was fun.
Any terminology that comes from sailing, we can pretty much, we can guarantee it's out.
She's like, I like the cut of your jib, slime man.
Dude, that is such a normal idiom to use.
You know what, Jack is in her like, oh God, I can't say it now.
She has her aesthetic, which is she's gone from minimalism to maximalism as her art.
She's in her maximalism era.
She's like, let me get this rug with every color.
Like, Jack's house is giving, like, she was too young to enjoy or didn't have money the first time Pier 1 came around.
And now she's back in Pier 1.
This is not Pier 1 stuff.
I hate to bring it to you.
But do you remember?
No, I loved Pier 1.
My first apartment was very much the same thing.
I had blue walls.
Are you saying that my house looks cheap?
It's not cheap.
It's colorful.
I mean, I had a blue wall.
The colors are, like, brown and muted blue and, like, a muted red.
are you chopped you're not even using it right no you're just are you mad about this no it's like
it's you know it's like colorful it's the opposite of crate and barrel
I guess did you guys sorry I meant to say something earlier about Timothy Chalamet somebody
on Instagram said like he's knocking ballet and you know the symphony but that man just made an
entire movie about ping pong. It's pretty wild. It's pretty wild. I was hoping they would. I love
ping pong. Same. I, yes. Sorry, Jack. I meant it in a good way. I know. I can't do that. I think
it's beautiful. We know what you mean. I love it. I know. I don't think you're ragging on my house.
It's very classy. It's a classy aesthetic. Okay. Thank you. It's like rich. It's like the place
you got married it's rich france yeah well i wanted to be like vintage european yes you're
right it's not pure one i should have this is a pure one essentially yeah you're right you're
right okay but i do just she's like i love pure one i used it in my first apartment where i was
broke in new york city but the aesthetic okay never you know what i don't think everyone has
an aesthetic i gotta go have my girl dinner you can't even say aesthetic it's number three on the
list of words you can't say anymore so don't even say aesthetic okay bye see you next whenever
probably never actually time lady gang is hosted and produced by kelty knight becca tobin and jack
