Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, the following podcast is a Lady Gang Network and Podcast One production, which means it's going to be awesome. Podcast One presents the Lady Gang, the Hollywood girl posse with Lady Gang Quickie. Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Let's make this quick. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to the Lady Gang Quickie. Quickie! I'm so sick of y'all.
Starting point is 00:00:28 I'm so sick of you. I'm going to be sicker of two people in my entire life. No, I'm sick of your faces. Like, I don't want to look at your faces. Or hear your voices. I don't want to hear your voices. I'm sick of myself, to be quite honest. Thank God I don't listen to this podcast ever.
Starting point is 00:00:41 No. Or else it would just be too much. No, I've been listening to the podcast, and I've been listening to both of it twice a week, and then also recording with you guys. Why? I'm like, God, I'm... You're an overachiever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:51 I'm so annoying. I just want to make sure it's all, everything sounds right, and see what makes me laugh in the car. I like to give myself, like, a gold star. But, yeah, I mean, between this, the second episode a week, the Lady Boxes, and the Lady Gang show, like... It's like we actually work together on a full-time job. I'm pretty sick of you guys.
Starting point is 00:01:09 It's like the people at your office that you work with, they're like, we should get drinks on Friday. And you're like, nah, I'm good. Absolutely not. Yeah. No, I love how after every one of our things that we did in New York, we're all just like, we're going to go do our own... Like, there wasn't even a talk of, should we hang out?
Starting point is 00:01:22 Yeah, should we go get dinner? No. We were like, we're like, kiss you tomorrow. Yeah. Literally not even... It is pretty funny. thought in any of our minds that we'd hang out it's pretty funny absolutely i don't want to see you guys um are you ready for an inspirational quote though i think not really but okay she is
Starting point is 00:01:36 she always does that in here maybe she's allergic to something she also pees sometimes on the rug in here well she is twice so i'm just like watching her okay here we go are you ready this one's a little long yeah stop waiting for friday tell us how you really feel about it becca stop waiting for friday for summer for someone to fall in love with you for life happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now i disagree that really started off like it could be like a cool like metaphorical thing and then it just dragged into some weird quote that i'm not sure here's what i'm gonna say i feel like the human experience is like like they always say give yourself something always have something to
Starting point is 00:02:25 look forward to they say that to like old people because it's like then you just die if you don't have something to look forward to i feel like life is like that it's like it's better i love having something to look forward to so it's like but i get it it's like you can also enjoy the dm that is the day that you're in the day you're in but that's like a that's a haiku that's not a haiku carpe the dm of the day you're in i think you have a palindrome palindrome kind of like race Did you get a fresh microblade? Yeah, today. They look good.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Thank you. Sorry to interrupt that important conversation. And I got a lash lift. Oh, let me see. So this part of my face is looking really good. You look great. Thank you. I love a lash lift.
Starting point is 00:03:03 I do, too. Okay, that quote was okay. Okay, cool. Okay, so we're going to go in the box. What the f*** is going on with Callie? If she barfs on my shoes, I'm going to be pissed. No, I will tell you. Okay, Becca, does Orly destroy toys?
Starting point is 00:03:20 Oh, she, like, destroys them. I have to buy toys for, like, Labrador retrievers so that Orly doesn't destroy them. Like a big toy? Yeah. So we get BarkBox. Yeah. And there's, like, three new big toys come in it every month. Callie is, like, a murderer, man.
Starting point is 00:03:36 She, like, gets in there and she wants to take them off. This sweet woman. Where was I? Oh, I was in Philadelphia and I was shooting this thing and one of the Lady Gang fans came to the mall that I was filming at and gave me a present for Callie. It was so sweet. And it was, like, this pretty little princess with, like, arms and a little tutu. And Callie murdered that thing. Took the arms right off.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Yeah. No arms. And I was like, there's been a murder. And I was like, oh, it's a- They should definitely not put little arms on a dog toy. I know. But I think that's what makes the dog toy fun for them. Because if it was just a shape, then they couldn't really, like, get into it.
Starting point is 00:04:06 But it's, like- But now they're going to take the arms off and swallow them and die. Orly doesn't, like, take arms off. She goes for the squeaker. So her goal is to get the squeaker out, like, a heart. Yeah. She just wants to rip the heart out And then once she gets the squeaker out
Starting point is 00:04:22 It's over She never touches the toy again I mean sometimes but that's the goal The goal is to squeak her out It's crazy I never thought of Orly as a little murderer Callie's definitely a murderer She's trying to eat a squirrel and a skunk
Starting point is 00:04:35 She's got some evil in her Okay when we come back It's going to be time for What's in our box What's in the box? One of my favorite things from the Lady Hang in New York when we went was that we were like, it's time for, and everyone was like, what's in our box? And I was like, no! That is the main.
Starting point is 00:05:01 But you had a box up there, didn't you? That's true. I did have the box. Wait, was that when we were doing the giveaways? Yeah, the giveaways. Yeah. And they're like, it's time for what's in our box. I was like, no, it's time for me to give you free stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:11 by the way um okay i did want to tell you uh just in the lady hang i've gotten so many emails wait can we talk about this what i think we should talk about this we should do like a lady hang recap recap all right let's do the recap yeah so um basically at the lady hang it was amazing like i loved it we had a blast but i got i think i saved it hold on let me see if i saved the email I think I might have deleted it after because it upset me so much. Oh. Did you see what she's talking about? I don't think I knew.
Starting point is 00:05:44 She posted it in the Lady Gang Facebook group. She's like, I'm so sorry that I was so annoying at the Lady Hang. I've gotten so many emails about it. Yeah. So I got one in particular, one really mean email. That you were annoying? Yeah. No, that I was mean.
Starting point is 00:05:56 That you were mean? Someone wrote, I deleted it because it upset me too much, but someone wrote, took the time out of their day to go on their computer, write to like helloladygang at gmail.com and was like Lady Hang. and she was basically like i love the lady gang but kelty was so mean to the girls during the live show it was awful to me and becca no to the audience oh and then i went back and i listened and like okay i was drunk and i was also kind of kelty like the one girl broke the rules when i was like okay it's gonna be asked the lady gang and then she was just like i just love you guys
Starting point is 00:06:34 I was like no questions about us but I think I did it in the Kelty way which is like my tone is not great which I like the girls always give me trouble for and then also like I also remember a couple times being like I love how y'all are talking amongst yourselves like please listen to us but like
Starting point is 00:06:50 I did it in my like country way and so I understand why people thought but someone had to control those crazies there were almost 400 of you and you guys were belligerent like I love you lady gang and we had so much fun in new york but like we made a slight mistake that all of you were so drunk by the time we arrived because there was two hours before the doors even the doors open and then there was two
Starting point is 00:07:11 hours of day drinking but here's the thing though if somebody's coming to this live show they know how you are that shouldn't be a surprise that you're like this type a freak to these girls but i don't know and then like because my voice got really high like do you know what i mean like I don't know. Was I bad? Maybe. What did you guys think? Do you care?
Starting point is 00:07:32 Did you listen? No. I didn't listen, but, like, I agree that, like, somebody had to, like, get them to whatever. It was like a shit show. It was a shit show. Somebody had to wrangle everybody a shit show I've ever been to. But it was a mess. But I do think, like, when people break the rules, if it's just, like, to tell us that
Starting point is 00:07:50 they love us, maybe we should be nicer. It's true. No, I was like, really? I do remember us being like, do not ask us questions about ourselves. We're also not at like a big presidential press conference. Like we're probably, we can be a little more like, you know, nice about it. Yeah. We say thank you that you love us.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Have I ever been nicer than anything? I don't know. I'm continuing to try, but it's like, honestly, it's not going well. Maybe you're an angry drunk. I probably. You were definitely not. And you were the happiest. You were pulling your shirt up above your head.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Well, that was the VIP experience. experience not everybody got to see kelty that's true if everybody had seen kelty they'd be like she's not mean at all she's just like a crazy drunk yeah i was kissing people i was crawling i mean i was trying to be so we should have charged more for them to see that i do you guys remember taking a tequila shot yes i do but i did not until the first 24 hours i don't remember that day and then next i was like do we do tequila shots in the middle of the lady the only reason i remember is because the girl that bought them for us i don't remember her name but she was like blah blah blah the tequila shots we bought you and i was like oh no it's like that's why i was
Starting point is 00:08:58 hung over like 48 hours later so hung over oh yeah it was it was so it chris um who i love so much and i do want to report that things are much better around the knight household thank god it's been a hard six months but like i do appreciate just sidebar we had like a big talk and we really got ourselves back on track and i think that happens in marriages and relationships where you like ebbs and flows and like definitely we're back on track so i say this with love he did was i said would you think of the episode because i know he listens and he was like i had to turn it off halfway through because y'all were screaming and i was like no i thought we were so less screamy this time no i know we were i feel like we were but we were also screaming because
Starting point is 00:09:41 the girls out there were screaming to the girl it's hard to not be screamy at a live show because there's so much going on we probably have to do live shows where they're not around tables with each other like a theater or like an audience situation is is much more i don't know it's like they're not going to talk to each other as much right right yeah they need to be like and then we won't be screaming yeah but it's really hard because you're in the energy of the room and so for us to come and just talk like we're talking right now it would be so boring well that's also why i feel like i don't want to i want to i don't want to record these live shows oh like i wish that we didn't have to air them.
Starting point is 00:10:19 I wish we could just have those moments with those people and it be, like, special amongst us and then move on. That's a great idea. Yeah, and then it's more incentive to come to the shows because we're going to talk about and we can talk about even like, juicier stuff that we're not going to get in trouble for. And girls can actually
Starting point is 00:10:35 There will definitely be proof because people will film it on their phones. That's true, but that's okay. But not as much proof. Yeah. Alright, well, we've come up with an interesting option. Yeah, I like that. Let us know your thoughts, people. Would you rather have us not scream but then it not air or would you rather have a scream because we have to but i will okay i want to say another thing sheila love you mom hope you're not listening but i know you are she gave
Starting point is 00:10:57 me the nicest comment she was like wow you lady girls really um you really coordinated your outfits well yeah and this is amazing this is a thing that we do this is i think our biggest talent and it has happened since the very first day that we did something remember we went to that lakers game yeah and we all just showed up matching in like white and tan and never talked about it and since then always we'll be able to go back to the lakers now that lebron is uh with the lakers i wouldn't be able to well because now it's like impossible to get tickets because no then probably not yeah but norm has those seats oh the owner of podcast one the owner of podcast one and we're like i mean caitlin who we're definitely the stars of podcast one
Starting point is 00:11:42 Adam Carolla who? Yeah, I've never heard of him before. So I feel like... Anyways, Norm, if you're listening, I would love to sit courtside at another Lakers game. Yeah. I think we should go to celebrate,
Starting point is 00:11:52 you know, life. Our outfit. Maybe the TV show or something? But I just thought it was so cute that you were like, oh, I'm going to wear this jean thing and then I picked a red polka dot thing.
Starting point is 00:12:01 You could have picked, like, blue floral, but you didn't. No, you were going to pick some floral dress before and then you came through with the polka dots. The network for our TV show,
Starting point is 00:12:10 they don't want us to be coordinating. They want us all to have individual styles. But here's the thing. We can have individual style and still kind of match. But don't you think we already have individual style? Yes, for sure. You guys aren't wearing crop tops?
Starting point is 00:12:21 I'm not wearing it. You have a style. I could go further with mine. I think you should. I think you should get, like, ultra fashion. Yeah. Like, hair super slick. What?
Starting point is 00:12:33 Your dick. I'm not going there. Don't go there. No, I think you, like, you're going to, like, ultimate puffy shirt. Like, puffy vest. Oh, yeah. I'm going to have high necks. I'm going to look like I'm going to a big poof sleeve.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Yeah, yeah, yeah. And do you think I should embrace my like, here, I actually did have an idea I wanted to run by you. I'll run it by the whole lady gang. Okay. So you know how Antony on Queer Eye is always wearing a rock and roll shirt? Yeah. And he now also wears crop tops all the time.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Yes, that's true. But before that, should I just wear rock and roll shirts on the show? Because that's what I feel most comfortable in. I like that. I'm not going to say every day. But I think it could be your thing. Can you wear, what's the deal with like legality of wearing a rock and roll shirt? logo situations can you well they do it on netflix on queer eye he's always wearing like van halen
Starting point is 00:13:16 and whatever i don't know what the rule is i'll look into it but i thought maybe that could be my look for like some of the stuff we do okay i like that because i've learned i have terrible posture and so when i wear anything i'm just like voldemort voldemort doesn't have bad posture did you like the lady gang little lady hang back up i did i did not enjoy the moment where i got champagne in my eye at the vip sorry i'm sorry it wasn't jack's fault but i had to enlist i had to be like bad cop during that experience because i was wasted you guys were wasted and in those situations i like to keep my wits about me yeah so and also my tolerance is just pretty high otherwise i might have been bombed yeah but i was very sober probably too sober and then i got
Starting point is 00:14:02 the champagne in my eye. I think that's maybe why you were so pissed too. Oh, no. No, no, no. You should have seen how much champagne. Like, two people were watching. It was like a champagne wash. I couldn't open my eye for ten minutes because it was burning. Like, it was so aggressive. It was not like, ooh, splash in the eye. It was
Starting point is 00:14:18 like, like three inches straight into my eyeball. I've never seen you so pissed in a while. I was livid. Like, I couldn't hide it. It hurt so bad. And then I didn't remember what happened so I kept thinking it was me. It wasn't. But it was fully my fault. No, no, no. it was just like don't put a bunch of drunk women in a small space hugging each other and flailing
Starting point is 00:14:38 around with full glasses of liquor yeah it was just the perfect storm for somebody to go blind i also like struggle in those situations because i want to talk to people yeah but then the people that are waiting are waiting we don't want them waiting longer but then again it's like we want to connect with all the girls and you want to give everybody the time that they deserve for like all the time they've been waiting we decided for next time we're probably going to do half the amount of vip yeah by the way it's about to get ultra exclusive babies yep so good people should have to apply and oh send in a resume they send in like a reason why like when they're trying to get into the lady gang facebook group and it's like a raffle people do that kind of stuff like
Starting point is 00:15:16 a broadway like what they call it the lottery the lottery yeah we could do that it's amazing you have to write us an essay of why you just we're such dicks who do we think we are i know we'll have one person um do you think it's appropriate if i talk about the jean jacket debacle okay i actually think this is an important thing to talk about yeah okay so we're gonna get real with you or is it because most of these girls listening we're not there and don't care devil's advocate let's just play let's just say this lady gang is about we are always gonna hook you up we're gonna do our best at whatever time whatever world whatever you're seeing us wherever you're following us to hook you up like we are always thinking of you guys let's get them a free
Starting point is 00:16:02 something let's get them a giveaway let's get them a discount well i do have to say most other podcast shows or you're going to see a live podcast yeah they don't do shit no they don't give you anything we're getting sponsors involved we're getting you guys like free gift bags we got you guys all a free jean jacket like we busted our ass for like months leading up to the show to make sure that you guys had like the best time ever right just saying that other podcasts show up pay your money you watch the show you go home you take a picture with them maybe and that's it we and so just you just have to be cool if you don't like the brands that are involved you don't complain about them we didn't ask you if you're given a code for perhaps a jacket or
Starting point is 00:16:42 something like that don't try to finagle your way into seven jean jackets like just get the one we give you and be happy like just i i was a little disappointed by what went on at the new york lady hang yeah there are some people taking advantage of our generosity our generosity and it's like if this keeps happening we're going to not be able to do this because the sponsors that we work with are not going to want are not going to want to yeah so don't be don't give us a bad reputation you guys we're the lady gang we're all the lady gang yeah keep it together we're all the lady we're like our girls are so amazing our girls are so amazing but then when you're like but then they're stealing jackets when you're fraudulent then we can't go get your stuff okay all right
Starting point is 00:17:23 and also we see you and we know names we know names we just have to say do we? do we have the names yet? yeah we have the names oh my god
Starting point is 00:17:30 so it doesn't go unnoticed and don't think that you're freaking fooling us you can't fool us because Jack is a true crime podcast connoisseur and Jack has a clothing line and has been dealing
Starting point is 00:17:39 with this shit forever oh yeah I've had people like try tell them to be patient we're getting there and be patient yes and be patient because now after the debauchery
Starting point is 00:17:46 that's not a debacle debacle we have to put all the jackets back at the warehouse right and redo all the shipping. Yeah, we don't want one person
Starting point is 00:17:54 to ruin it for everyone. Everyone. You could have already all been wearing your coats. You know what I'm saying? Okay. Anyway, not to complain. We do love you.
Starting point is 00:18:00 Do we have time for what's in our box? Yeah, I think so. I don't know. Elena gave me her phone, but like it keeps locking, so it's like I could have just used my phone.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Why don't you put the timer on your own phone? Well, I should have, but I can't do anything without my Elena. We do have time for what's in our box, but I actually thought
Starting point is 00:18:13 it would, okay, I'll do that. Why don't we do something else because we have like 10 minutes Or do we want to do that? No, let's do one each. Let's do two. Okay. Yeah, one each.
Starting point is 00:18:20 People like what's in our box, obviously. But we have so many quickies. One every week. Okay. Ooh. Worst sex experiences. Hmm. I know mine right off the bat.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Can I go while you think? Oh, my God. I was... I have two. Okay. No, I'll just do one. I was early 20s. I was making out with this guy who is, like, embarrassing to think about at this point.
Starting point is 00:18:44 and i like reached down to like find his penis and it was like a thimble penis and like i was confused because i was like am i touching a ball am i touching a penis am i touching a thing and then it was like awkward because like okay what happens after you discover a thimble dick like you discover the thimble dick and then you're like we have to keep trying to have inner horse no then you just act like you're just like a little tease and so you're like oh i did it but like that's it you'll have to come back for more because i think then like i i don't know it's such an unfortunate situation because it's not their fault i have no boobs like if you want boobs i'm not the woman for you you're getting all nips and ribs the thing that sucks about a
Starting point is 00:19:32 small dick is you can't change it you could get a boob job if you wanted that's true yeah but also your boobs don't have to be inserted into him to create an orgasm and it doesn't yeah your boobs don't create pleasure, basically. Well, not definitely. They definitely don't, Jack. Thanks for pointing that out. Okay, what's yours? Nobody's trying to motorboat?
Starting point is 00:19:48 I'm about to get super real here. You do yours because I have to think. Worst experience was when I had sex with a friend's ex. I did that in my 20s. I've done that, too. I did it. And it felt like the worst. It was the worst.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Like, you can't enjoy it, even though I was bombsville. Yeah. And he was a predator. but like predator what do you mean like just he was the one initiating it or like you know but that was the absolute worst like i've never woken up the next morning and felt more disgusted with myself that's it i've done that too okay my worst i mean i had sex with your ex i'm sorry you guys weren't friends yeah that's true um my worst sex experience was when i lost my virginity have i told the story yet i don't know it's so bad okay here we go i was 23 years old i was on the warp
Starting point is 00:20:47 tour surprise surprise i was in billings all these years later she's still on the warp tour i go back on it okay so i was in billings montana nobody knows where that is i get wasted at a buffalo wild wings which now i just good choice yeah it's a great choice love a buffalo wild wing i love their boneless wings um and i so i had been like obsessed with this guy for years and we had this whole fling he had a girlfriend but we had like a fling on the side that's basically what my early 20s were we're always just in love with guys with girlfriends great and then finally we like both got wasted together and i'm like you know i think i just like i need to have sex as i'm 22 it's going to start becoming this thing where i'm too old to have sex not told to have sex but like now i'm the
Starting point is 00:21:34 Well, I'm sure that pressure is like crazy. Yeah, because then it's like now you actually know you're too aware of things. So anyways, I just decided I'm like, okay, this is like going to be the night that I lose my virginity, whatever. So he rents a motel room where their bus was staying in Billings, Montana. And it was so shitty, so gross. We go into the hotel room. He's like a freak. He like makes us both shower before, which is weird and like unsexy to begin with.
Starting point is 00:21:59 Sounds like what I do to Zach. Do you? I mean, not really, but I love it. I like a clean shower. I love a clean sex. You're on the Warped Tour. You don't need to have clean sex on the Warped Tour. So anyways, then we
Starting point is 00:22:13 take a shower and I'm already not in the mood and then I'm wasted and then we start having sex and I mean, this guy was so f***ed up but we're having sex and halfway through he shoves me off of him, freaks out, runs out of the motel room, leaves me alone
Starting point is 00:22:30 crying in the corner. friend no he had he had a lot of issues this is like you're it's in you and then he takes it out of was he freaked out because you were a virgin no like there's a lot of things wrong that i like can't talk about sounds like a terrible first time it was like you're alone i'm alone in billings montana like no clue how to get home he shoves me off of him like i'm a piece of trash and like leaves me there crying by myself and then from that after that i don't think i had sex for like four years because i had the worst connotation like with sex ever oof it was bad how'd you get home i don't know i probably got in a cab or something he was like the worst person like in
Starting point is 00:23:12 the entire what's his name caleb did you know everybody will know who he is did you know elena just pushed up her glasses i would like to actually find caleb right now hey caleb you piece of shit garbage person yeah that's it that makes me want to burn his house down yeah he was he was not the best person in the world and i was like infatuated with him for like four years that's the thing it's like kind of hard i think when you get older because it starts to mean more and more and more like when you're yeah when you're like a baby it's like you're all babies you all don't know what you're doing it's like a bad right across the board it's kind of terrible no it's just like when you're older it's like you've waited so much so i feel like every year
Starting point is 00:23:56 you wait it's like more pressure anticipation the anticipation of like and then the movies ruin it for you because it's nothing like that well yeah nobody's first time is ever good and then especially yeah when you're older it's like now like i said i'm more self-aware yeah i actually like this person so much and not in you know this stupid little like 16 year old way and it was just like an absolute disaster who's the next person you had sex with uh after four years another band oh my god have you ever had yes yeah yeah okay did you guys keep a list yeah like a lover list yeah i still sometimes try to remember oh there's just no way but then oh not just because there are so many but like i just i never cared about my like yeah there's actually there's one that
Starting point is 00:24:42 i'm not sure like if i did or not yeah you know what i mean i'm like oh i don't know not like the day after it happened not that i like i remembered then but now looking back i'm like there'll be some people that i probably forgot about like oh shit yeah sometimes it'll pop into my memory and i'll just start cold sweating yeah oh my god i remember that yeah i just yeah i never thought of like writing people's names down and also was so much older when i started having sex that i was like yeah not to be a crazy person but do you remember the first time you tried to wear a thong because that was like almost more tumultuous than like the first time i had sex actually I do. It was, I got, I think, I think it was a pink thong, a pink zebra thong from what seal? G-string. It was like the one that you let me borrow for the Lady Hank.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Sexual. G-string. I had a lilac purple satin thong. And, like, okay, here's something about me. I was, like, very small at the time because I was, like, deep ballerina. So I was, like, wearing extra small clothes. So I bought an extra small thong. I'm definitely a medium thong with this big old vag, you know what I mean? And so it was, like, down on my hips and, like, pulling up my – like, it was so tight and, like, couldn't even – the thong part couldn't even go, like, above my ass cheek, you know, where it's supposed to sit on top of your butt.
Starting point is 00:25:59 It was, like, across the bottom. So it was like an ultra low rise. It was ultra low rise thong. And it was so uncomfortable. You wear a medium thong now? I wear a medium thong now, yeah. How was it comfort wise? Was it too big?
Starting point is 00:26:12 Not the best. It's too big. It's just also not a great underwear. That wasn't a great thong. That was like a show thong. They just like throw all over the place. They don't like sit on you nicely like a nice bigger thong does. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:26:23 They don't cover your whole vagina. It's not a commando. It was hard. Anyway. Okay. Well, I love you guys so much. I want to just reiterate that we do love all of you for coming to the lady hang. We're not complaining.
Starting point is 00:26:35 We're just, you know. It was one of our favorite days. It was so fun. Do you want to tell them about the cab? How we tipped big? Oh, share my dad's thing? Yeah. It was cute.
Starting point is 00:26:46 I think it's a really good thing. Because we had a girl cab driver. So my dad, my whole life, if I've been up for, like back in the day when I would call my dad and my mom and I'd be like, you guys, I had a call back for this show. and you know like i like i'll find out tomorrow whatever so my dad would like be sure to and i think that his mom passes down to him to like really be generous with with like tipping people and just not that he's not normally but he would go like way overboard and like tip somebody 50 like that night because he was like if you put all that like goodness and generosity into the world like it'll come back around so we were we hailed a cab for our lady hang and it's me
Starting point is 00:27:26 and jack and kelty because elena had already been there for like 17 hours and she's like where are you she's been there for days so we also totally lied i was like we're on our way like she's like we left an hour and a half ago she's like elena doesn't know new york she won't know i was like she absolutely won't know and she also just did the same route yes like anyways anyways she's like our mom who we're trying not to get in trouble with but we hail a cab and weirdly this woman The first woman cab driver I think I've ever had in my life. There's probably one female cab driver for every 200. I mean, that's probably generous.
Starting point is 00:28:01 I've had an Uber, a woman Uber driver, but not an Uber. But not like a yellow NYC taxi. Yeah, never in my life. It's very rare. I think I've had one. So I just realized, I was like, oh, my God, it's a woman driving us to the lady gang in, like, this industry that's basically all men. It's crazy. Why would she pick us up?
Starting point is 00:28:19 so then I said to Kelty I like whispered to her in the cab I was like do you have any cash because I want to tip her like a lot a lot a lot so that we can and she's like I don't understand why but I'll do it so she tipped her like a lot we gave her 50 bucks and our fare was $16 yeah because we were like that'll mean we'll have a good
Starting point is 00:28:36 lady hang and we did yeah and so that was it it worked I think that's a really good like thing to do I love it it's just kind of a fun like little ritual yeah love it I love it alright anyway we're not here for a long time but we're here for a good time that was probably the best one yet that escalated quickly thanks for joining us on lady gang quickie check out new episodes of lady gang every tuesday
