we've done an in-person podcast. It's weird. I find that I'm yelling. I feel, I feel them. I feel very excited about this. I also feel like I let you down, Jack, because I did order groceries this weekend and I meant to get the cookies that you love. The gluten-free cookies from Whole Foods. I feel like I should Instacart them so we can make them later. I mean, I don't want to let you down. I won't wait about that. I had one job. I've been, okay, this is not a tangent. It has to do with cookies. Have you guys had crumble cookies? Yes. Game changer. Holy moly. I was sent crumble cookies after I did this event with Bobby, the formula company. And it was like a thank you. Yeah. And I was like, Oh God, I get so bummed out when people send edible thank yous. Right.

Cause I'm, I don't want to sweet in my house, you know, but wow. Do yourself a fave. Get a fave. Well, and they just opened a crumble in orange County. Oh wow. And I have a new thing. You know, cookies are my favorite food in the entire world, but now I have a thing that I have to start having milk with my cookies.

Oh, like real milk, real milk. That was so LA. Ew. Like milk, real cows. I'm not yucking your yum because it really is delicious. The only time you can have it is with a cookie. And I only want like, I want this much. Oh no, I'll do eight ounces.

Really? Yeah. Oh, I want a few sips. But like now I can't have a cookie without milk. I'm like, I might as well just not do it. Oh, well, I'm not part of the full circle. I don't have milk for you. We're going to get you some real milk.

We can Instacart it with the cookies. Do you do like a whole milk or like 2% is pretty standard. Yeah. standard honestly and by the way everybody that's like off the real milk train when you're getting your oat milk lattes and stuff you are missing out a lot i know you think it's great but once you have a latte or any real milk it's like no every my god every time we every time we get an like a cappuccino or a latte and i don't think they even do lattes in italy but if you just get go to italy and you get a cappuccino you're like we don't know how to live over here yeah no we're

milking nuts. I have diarrhea right after, but it's like, it's great while it's going down. Oh, I love it. There's not, we're really missing out. Yeah. Sorry for this tangent. No, I love it. Take though. If you freeze the crumble cookies, they're just as good. If you want to just keep a stash in your freezer. Oh my God. I can't do that. Wow. Okay. Well, sorry. Welcome back to, no, this is the lady getting quickie. And, um, we've been posting a lot on our socials about our partnership with the European wax center. And, um, I actually was very excited because I was planning to go get my armpits waxed. And then I looked at my armpit and I only had four little hairs cause I've been waxing it so much. It's not growing back, which is so great. So anyway,

I plucked them. I'm going to pass on that wax, but I am still going to go do all my vagina and other regions, but what's it called? Vagina and vagina and its neighbor and its neighbor. um and so uh can i show you my armpit right now yeah are you going out you are to wax yeah let me see it let me see it because in my leg hair i just look okay so i don't have a lot of like that's not long enough to wax when are you waxing i have a whole week oh yeah they say a grain of rice that's not a grain of rice that's not half grain okay fine here's my armpit is that what they say i see oh i really wanted them to have a lot to work with oh that's so hairy so nice it's so hairy it's really hairy but like my legs aren't hairy well you grow different types

of hair on your legs i feel like armpit hair is the darkest hair i don't know i'm not official anyway okay don't yuck my yum i'm not gonna yuck your um you but you need that wax so get that the appointment's made. All right. So today we're talking about our walk in strut out moments. Um, and basically, uh, you know, when they were like, we want to do, we want to celebrate you guys this summer. And I was like, well, here's the thing. The first time I went in to get a Brazilian wax, I was so nervous and I was so terrified. And I was like, this is the most, like I'm, you know, but then after I did it, I was like, wait, this is like, this is for life. Like here I am. So we're going to celebrate the hard things that lady gang didn't think

they could achieve. But once they did, we felt better than ever. Whoa. You know what I mean? Do you take a Brazilian and you turn it into a deep topic? Listen, you're welcome. Every time I get a wax, I feel that way. Still nervous. I mean, it's not, it's not like going to get a cookie, you know, not a crumble cookie and milk. It's not a crumble cookie. it's not awful but it's it's no you gotta pump yourself up yeah you're like i'm gonna go and you have to get you know whatever naked naked and it's fine it's as comfortable as it can possibly be but like every single time i walk out and i'm like i need to do that more often yes because you feel so good unstoppable invincible it's like having a fresh pedicure yeah like why why don't

I do this more? Is it because when you're growing, the scuzz feels so scuzz. And then when you're clean, like you're, you're fixed up, you're like, I'm it for me. It's like, I just feel like I look, I don't know. It's like somewhere. No, no. How often do you see someone's bikini line? Not summer. Not that often, but it's personally very important. I like to see it. I don't care who's looking. Most things I do for myself are for myself. They're not for anyone else. okay so jack i'm starting with you your walk-in strut out moment that i made for you is that thank god you made one i feel like you were convinced that all men are trash oh yeah you would never find your perfect guy you were going to remain single forever or on these terrible

dating apps yeah and you walked in and now you're strutting out because you're planning i mean wedding planning is very hard so take that as a piece of pie but i am but you're planning a destination wedding to like your fiance jared and and jared is such a good man like he's just such a good man. And, and like we said in another episode, like you've grown so much and like you're with someone that when you got engaged and you kind of had like a meltdown about it, wasn't like you ruined my, like she, he was literally just like, I got you these cookies. And like, I, I love you so much. And like, we're, you know, like he just knows the core of you. Yeah. So it's like you walked in to get a lover and you strutted

out with the love of your life. I mean, I can't believe it. I actually had a different idea of what my walk-in strut out moment would be. I had one in my mind, but that one's what was it okay um my when we're like thinking of the concept mine is kind of sort of doing lady gang tv and going into something that was so scary and intimidating and i was like a fish out of water and coming out of it it was not a great experience out of that thing i also hobbled out of it but i came out of it like i had never been on tv before i'd never done i'd never had anybody judging things that were coming out of my mouth, nothing. So it was definitely an experience that I learned a lot of confidence from and, um, just my introverted self being thrust into

something. It was definitely putting me out of my comfort zone. And I feel like I came out a little bit better as myself. You definitely are. And it's funny because I think sometimes like we forget you're at that time now that you're like, you're pro, but like at that time it was like, cause you just are Jack, you're just so powerful. And like, you always seem so confident. So we were, I would never, if you hadn't been so open about being insecure about it, I would have, I would have been like, Jack's been dreaming of this her whole life. Like, because you just, you just fit in, you know what I mean? You're just, you have an effervescent cool girlness that like is just magnetic and you know, but it's that like apathy that I feel like I have, but like

underneath it, especially in that I was like, well, I guess I have no other option than to be okay. And to thrive in this situation. Cause if I don't, I will literally fall behind and not be a part of this show and like cry in a corner. So I'm like, I will save the panic attack for when I'm home. Yes. Which I did every single time, but being able to, because I've never been in the entertainment world, I've never thought I'd have to be thrust into a situation like that, but being able to at least tread water enough, I think was a good lesson for me to learn. For sure. Yeah, for sure.

I love that. And I was just thinking in my mind when we went on the Today Show and your parents came. That was the best moment. Oh, yeah. So funny. I would be so proud. Okay, Becca, I have yours, but you can go off. I can't think of one.

So please. Okay. Well, I mean, it's the most obvious, obviously that you struggled with infertility and you struggled to get pregnant and now we have, you know, baby Ford and it's like, sleep's hard to come by. There's a lot more pressure on you. You got to keep a human alive, but like the reward is everything. So you like, you kind of peddled into motherhood and then you're strutting out and it's like, you're, you guys like, you know, we just had father's day a couple of weeks ago and it's like seeing the pictures of you and Zach and Ford, it's like, it feels, I know it's not

effortless, but it feels like this was always what you're meant to do. Yeah. Like you're just like, we're like, are you stressed out? And you're just like holding a baby. Like it's just crazy to me. I think though, I have to say, I think my ability to strut right now is that I didn't actually carry him. Yeah. I don't think women can start strutting for a while after, but I'm getting to experience having a baby the way that most men do. And this is why men are so happy and so easygoing, you know? And they're usually like, Oh, it's nothing, you know? And their wives are like in the corner crying because their bodies aren't falling apart. So I, I not to like diminish, it's still hard to keep human alive, but yes, I have the, you know, it's like, it's just

like life gives you lemons. And this is my lemonade is that I get to be strutting sooner than most women. And maybe some women don't even get to strut after that, or they don't feel like they're strutting, but every woman is strutting after a child. Well, I mean, yeah, I just think it's like, it's an interesting take on, you know, there was a time, I don't know if I mean that you kind of were like, is this ever going to happen? Oh yeah, for sure. You know? And so then you're like, okay, well, you know, it didn't happen the way that you had planned for or could have imagined, but there you go. You know, you did it. And I do, I just think you're a great mom. oh thanks can't wait to meet ford he's way too young to know if i'm screwing him up

yet but i'm sure i'm sure i am don't you screw up your kids the first in the most two years yeah it's like the younger they are the more it but he'll never know i think it's all it's all i actually just took to instagram to discuss this like i feel bad for parents right now who have instagram and yeah while there are some great things about being a parent and having access to people all over the world, like that you normally wouldn't have contact with or be able to see the way they're raising their kids. There's a lot of times when you have to go inward and be like, people did this before Instagram. So give yourself some credit. And I think more people would be strutting if they unfollowed all the people that they are like looking to,

that they don't even know to get advice on being a new mom. I saw your post about that. And I, that's exactly how i would feel or when i have a kid because it's probably so overwhelming you're like if i'm not doing this and this and this then i'm failing but back in the day people had one baby book yeah and they're like and yeah everybody turned out okay yeah i mean we're fine ish speak for yourself kelty is fine adjacent sometimes fine adjacent fine adjacent what's your moment, Kelty? Well, I've got a few. Let me get out the pens. It was when I did my first performance. When we come back, I will share my walk in strut out moment. and they're like i can tweeze it if you want because they want us to be perfect and that's what i love about these girls at european wax center studio city okay like they're perfectionists but anyway, yeah, no, it's not about my nipple hair, but I do love to wax a nipple. Um, I think for me, it, my walk, walk in strut out moment was basically two years ago, leaving my job at ET and feeling like, like, I'll never forget the day it happened. And then I literally text you guys. I was like, uh, I lost my job and we're like, well, the world was definitely ending though. I mean, the world was ending. I was just in a spin and, and I really, really thought, okay, like I kind of, over those months that I was doing therapy for it, um, I kind of got good

with the fact that like the best of me was behind me. I was like, okay, I did the thing. I had that big fancy job. I traveled around the world. Like it was everything. And I was like, and you know what Kelty at some point in everyone's life, that thing ends. And like you had your big years and now you can just roll into whatever's next and you're gonna have to reinvent yourself and it's probably never going to be as glamorous or as fabulous or as wonderful ever again. And then like now I'm strutting out and I feel like, I feel like we have this new book and I love it so much. Like even when we were recording the audio book, I was like, I love this book. Like I just, I think it's so good. Um, I have the new show coming out, we're going on tour and like all of those things

are literally launching on the same week. Like it's like the book, the tour, the TV show. It's like, it's like you, you're going to want to manifest it. It's like I manifested it, but I could have never told girl in June of whatever year that was, who was like, you know what? You already had your moment. It's over for you. Like there's like a second coming of Christ. I'm just kidding. You're wondering what Kelsey thinks about herself. It's like a second coming. And so I like, I walked in and I'm strutting out because I really, and for no other reason, it feels extra good because I know that we did it with bootstraps and I did the show with bootstraps. Like there was no silver platter. There was no savior that came in and was like, don't worry, Kelty, I'm going to

do this for you. Like we did it ourselves. And that to me makes me feel like, so, you know, good strutty S T R U N T strunt. I think like the purpose of this episode is just to inspire you all that you know like sometimes you think things aren't going to go your way and then they go your way and like everything's going to work out and you know it's true like not to get all aerosmith on you but you know like you know steven diler what are we saying life's a journey no not i'm not we're not on the highway i'm on aerosmith aerosmith is life's a journey not a destination do you know that song it's an aerosmith song no okay anyway but not to get all aerosmith on you i just got a freaking text from my husband saying that ford's bottom teeth are
