Hi. I have something to tell you guys. Oh no. Oh God. I, um, oh my God. I was gonna, I was gonna lay back. guys. I read all the comments. I read the Reddit Kelty talks too much. And then I was like, I'm just going to lay back. And then I started off just immediately. I'm sorry. I want to tell you

something. So I have been reading all this stuff on coffee and like how you should have your coffee at lunch and not in the morning, like how it's really hard on your hormones. Um, and so not that I've like traded it for a health thing, but like have your coffee with your egg bites or whatever you're going to like some protein so that it like doesn't just anyway. So now I'm starting my day with a Celsius, which I know is even worse. That was okay. This was so funny because I went to work with Kelty last week and she was telling me about this. She's like, yeah, you know, I made the healthy switch of starting with the Celsius or swapping out my coffee for Celsius. Celsius is like 10 coffees. Yeah. And it gives me a special type of anxiety that is like, I'm addicted to it,

but it's such a bad, good feeling. And I want to know if any of the lady gangs have this like coffee makes me have coffee breath and like i don't feel like i never get the jolt where i'm like oh my god i'm awake now but celsius in the morning i like i get this like i'm awake and then i get super anxious like the world is like crumbling around me and i literally am sitting here and i'm i've done enough therapy that i'm like why am i feeling like this kelty nobody's chasing you girl like fight or flight like you're fine you're in your house you're safe but like i still feel this crazy anxiety but I love it like I go to bed at night and I was like I can't wait for 12 hours till I can wake up and have my anxiety inducing Celsius like who am I the last

experience I had with Celsius was when I drank it for the UUP podcast recordings and I yeah got off that and I was like that person I don't even know who she was like I was well I had my so obnoxious and insane i had my first celsius at kelty's house last week and i shit immediately after drinking it after being so constipated so now this is not even an ad i we all just are obsessed with celsius now i guess but i love it same thing kelty i'm like i think like coffee is making me feel gross and i think i might make the swap a very healthy swap as we say i love it okay um this episode of lady gang is all about jack's brand new digs yeah i for so long felt like becca and i you know well first of all our episode of million dollar listing is re-airing in a big

way becca bought a house in la years ago with josh flagg and we appeared this is when we had the lady gang tv show we appeared on the show we there was a murder room we zen the murder room like i'm getting so many messages and people are like oh my god i just saw you on million dollar listing. They're like, did Becca move back to LA? I'm like, this is so old. First of all, we look amazing. We were so beautiful. We had no idea. But it's so cute. Anyway, so I thought Becca loves a house redo, blinds, a photo shoot indoors. Kelty, Fixer Upper LA, thought I really had it cornered. No, no. The Jacktivities, the Fixer Upper Jacktivities edition is incredible. Did I ever think that I would see our little Warped Tour girly with a power washer?

Oh, my God. Well, you know, it's just it's now my new obsession. Last year was my wedding. This year is the house. And I'm just diving, diving the f*** in. And you know what? I was just sitting out having my coffee because we have a really cute little front yard. And I drink my coffee and look out and hear the birds and like whatever.

But I was looking at my sconces. And I fear that I might be entering my sconce era. cause I'm like, Ooh, I think like maybe cause they're kind of, they're old and ugly. And I'm like, maybe I'll like, you know, paint them black and I'll do a TikTok about it. And I'm like, Oh no, this it's happening. It happens to everyone. It just takes time. You know, it's my time to enter the sconce era. I'm very excited about you. I have so many questions. So first of all, can you explain the house? Like we, the, where we left off on the podcast was really you flyering the neighborhood with letters and then you had gotten a call from a guy and he had ghosted you

and you were really upset so then you ended up in a house like how did that kind of happen and then where is it are you by your parents like what is happening we are six minutes away from my parents my dad times it every time he drives to see if he can get like a faster time so right now the time is six minutes and three seconds like that's where we're at with the drive um it's the perfect amount away i mean you know i really wanted to be right next to them but jared it was a little too close for jared to be like on top of them so this is like a nice compromise of where we are um it's so funny just being back in mission viejo because i was like i'm not going back and then as i get i get older i'm like wait orange county is so nice what am i doing i'm i'm ready to be back home so

it feels like a very good reunion and it's where i'm supposed to be like i'm an orange county girl i like i i'm supposed to be here is that where you grew up like your high school is a mission viejo yeah yeah high school's here i'm like i don't know if my kids will actually go to the same high school but it's like five minutes away from me it's just i would i never thought i'd be like back to where i grew up but it's it's so funny like i'm driving by all my golden spoon my like frozen yogurt place i always go to like my jersey mike's that it's right down the road for me. Like it's all of the places that I went in as a kid and it feels good. I love like the nostalgia of it. Like it makes me feel very safe being like right back where I'm like comfortable

in. So, um, but yeah, the house is it's, so it's a tri-level, which is not what I was going for. I really wanted a single story house, but it's old. It was built in the sixties. So it kind of has that old, like mid century sort of like, where is the try? Like, do you walk in and you can go straight down or up or how does that yeah you walk in and there's the kitchen and living area and then there's like a downstairs area that there's one bedroom which is jared's studio and then like this other living space that i don't know what to do with and then upstairs is the three bedrooms but it's only like half floors so you're not walking like a big floors it's just like a couple steps each way um but like it works somehow with the house i don't know it makes it

feel it feels just like an older house I guess like in a cool way it's so exciting for you now tell me about the power like the power tools are you renting them have you been gifted them like all of a sudden you move a week ago and all of a sudden you have like the nicest tools and I'm very jealous they're all from my dad he has like it's that Ryobi brand they all have okay I was wondering I was like is this a sponsored power washer like what's happening no but I'm like wow I'm really opening myself up to all types of sponsors. Now I can be like a power tools, like influencer if I want, but I didn't realize how great power washing is. I power washed our entire yard, which is big. It's like 10,000 square foot lot. And I power washed everything.

I'm like, this is the most satisfying thing in the entire world. I love it. I love it so much. And this place is dirty. So it's, it takes a lot. I'm now like gardening, power washing, and Jared's gone so I have to do everything myself so now tell me about the turtles please our neighbor has turtles she has two big ones and then they have little babies and she asked me if I wanted one she's trying to get rid of them but I don't know if I have the capacity to take care of a turtle they live like 80 years forever I know she's had one for like 30 years do you want one i'm like no i don't want one where do the turtles live like i so jack posted on instagram she's like my neighbor has turtles and i was like okay i need like a full three-part netflix series

on this like a the turtles they have two are these the children then i see them like kind of in a thing and there's like so can you tell me more like i need the whole information this lady she's like known for her garden she's like the garden lady like of the neighborhood she has a beautiful garden so we're going that's why you have so many butterflies and stuff in your yard well we have like the butterfly plants to milkweed or something it's called. Um, but she has this like beautiful garden. We're going to look at it. She's like, yeah, I have some tortoises somewhere. And then all of a sudden he like starts walking out. I think his name was Fred. Um, but he's lived there forever and they had little babies and then she keeps the little babies under what I thought was

a cornhole thing, but it's a little turtle like nest. Um, and they're so cute. She said one of her name was hezusa because she thought she killed her and she buried her and she came no crawling out of the ground no like two weeks later which i'm like maybe that maybe i keep that one i don't know but they're so cute i just love it we just there's all these new animals we keep finding and all i don't know if you guys saw my tiktok about the saint francis statue that's just hidden in the corner of our like behind all these trees like it's very it's literally in a corner hidden um and we're just finding all this cool shit it's like a little secret garden i love it i love being here the turtles they they don't run away they

just live like as long as they're gated they'll just stay like i guess i guess i can't wait to come to your house honestly if it wasn't two hours away i would be there this weekend like i can't wait to see it give my opinions tell you what to do with it you know is it two hours uh it took like an hour and 45 minutes to get to kelty well maybe a little bit longer to get to kelty's house when i came to work with her it was it's not great but if you like make a thing of it i was thinking maybe between our san diego and phoenix show you guys could come over and see it when we're around here sleepover and do a little sleepover or power washing we can power group power washing. Oh my God. I love it. I would love it. Do you feel like you're, um, like,

I think it's one really interesting in the Facebook group. Like when we first started lady gang, everyone was like dating, dating, dating and like boys and don't chads and sandals and stuff. And now we get a lot of like, Hey guys, like I just saw a post the other day that someone was like, Hey, we just bought this house and I want to change the shutter color. And like everyone was like photoshopping what they thought the shutters should be and I was like these are like adult pleasures for sure yes but do you feel like less inclined to online shop or plan your vacations or like you know just some of the things that you did as far as like activities when you were an apartment person and a young person like are you now like I don't need shoes I don't need

these things because I want sconces or has your mind changed are you still no I always need shoes and sconces now i'm just like oh i'm gonna spend twice as much money but i haven't i mean i don't have the budget to do that so it has been more house focused um but yeah i mean it's it's so i've never been able to care about this we lived in our apartment for six years we were it was just like so small we were on top of each other and i'm like i'm not even gonna buy new silverware because i don't want to waste my money on it so we had like three forks and one spoon i don't even think we had a knife left and i broke all of our wine glasses so i think we had one wine glass from our set left so it's exciting for me to actually I'm like taking so much pride in our home even

though it's you know pre-renovation and it's our yards a mess and like whatever I'm just I feel so happy here and I'm really proud of what we're able to accomplish to buy it I mean Jared and I didn't have any help from our family didn't have any help from anybody like we paid for everything ourselves so it's such a huge accomplishment especially in the climate that we're in with the economy and stuff. So I just feel very fortunate that we're able to even do something like this. So I'm very, I sit and like drink my coffee and I just feel so much like gratitude because it's just, I'm very proud of it. So it feels so good to actually be able to care about something and have space and have like the ability to, you know, with the renovation and stuff,

like create something of my own. I get to like obsess about it. Like I did with our wedding. can't wait do you have like a vibe picked out like are you going neutral softies whatever are you gonna go like crazy wallpaper like are you gonna do maximalist like what's the pin i know you have a pinterest board already i have so many pinterest boards so the house is kind of like a mediterranean style and the yard is very mediterranean as well so we're like leaning into that I want it to feel classic I don't want to lean into any trends and I don't want to do anything that's too like nothing modern everything I want it to feel kind of like warm and elegant and lived in and then I feel like I can make it my my own well I make it my own through like that

kind of stuff too but just with like the art and the decor so it's like I don't want to make it too I don't know unique to if we want to sell it one day but I still want to make it feel very um just warm I don't know all like like a European style sort of like a villa ish vibe but I have all the Pinterest boards and then I feel like I can go kind of fun with the bathrooms like I think I want to do like fun colors I want to maybe like paint on the walls of one of my bathrooms like in a um like a wallpaper sort of a style wow you're so f***ed up what you know i asked you to paint my bathroom did you for free oh yeah that's why i like put it out of my mind yeah when i was doing my powder room i was like jack can you come over and like do

the line drawing all over with paint and i don't know why you never showed up and then i had to do my wallpaper which i made a i made this like big bold choice to do the anthropology wallpaper that has like the sloths drinking margaritas and stuff which i stand by and love and it's cute it's cute but it's so stupid. And every time I go in there, I'm like, why did I pick this is so ugly and stupid. But then I'm like, but now I'm looking at like a tiny meerkat smoking a pipe, which like brings me joy, but also like, I'm so stupid. And that's the only bathroom people see because people are usually not that I have any people over, but like the one time my in-laws came over, it's like, then that's the bathroom they use. And I'm like, do I have a horrible taste? Like,

are they all talking about me behind my back when they drive home? Did you see the bathroom? No, I like the bathroom, but I will. I mean, if you want to take the wallpaper down, I'll paint it for you. She can practice on yours. Yeah, I'll practice on yours before I decide what I want to do on mine. Oh, my God. Okay, coming back, Kelty in Paris. The Lady Gang.

Okay, we're back. I have something exciting to tell you about your, you know, Parisian house sort of, well, is it Parisian, the style? Mediterranean. Mediterranean. What's the difference? Big difference. Yeah.

oh like mediterranean is like spanish yeah like spanish style i mean parisian is just parisian like very i feel like ornate and like i don't know it's just definitely a different different vibe but anyways go ahead oh mediterranean's like old spanish yeah like that's the architecture of it yeah okay like night neutrals live like organic materials parisian i feel like is very like ornate sort of the different sconce that's for sure it's definitely a different sconce um okay so i actually was very excited to tell you that your wedding is famous why well not only for the time that fireball shots i mean fireball is amazing um oh my god remind me to tell you about the fireball shots of jojo siwa too but oh god jack's house episode got a jojo siwa no um so

you know the olympics are happening right now in paris and e entertainment posted a picture of me i had like one picture of me like sitting in paris and then one at your wedding on the swing in like my gown and then they posted like a kelty in paris carrie in paris like like um like carrie bradshaw in paris versus kelty in paris like a fun little like slideshow of photos which i didn't really get but i was like honored to be on the instagram and then i was so happy because i was like jack will be so happy the chateau is on e so happy and then and then everyone was like wait are you here are you here like i got 55 000 messages of people being like are you in paris i was like no i'm here like no i'm not there i mean you wish okay so remember how i danced with

jojo siwa and i was gonna report back yeah okay so i did ask i said to her we were like walking out to stage and i was like oh my god it's so fun when you drink fireball shots in honor of you jack i was like it's so fun when you go on stage and you drink the fireball like you're so crazy and then she kind of said something under her breath and i don't know if it's real fireball like there was something where it was like i think she may water it down just so she doesn't like lose her mind or something which tracks yeah but anyway then i showed her the video of me and becca doing fireball shots at the wedding and she was like i was like and so we're just like meant to be best friends and she loved it even though I don't think you ever took one of those fireball shots did you

never I I don't think no I did did you we all did I think we all did I mean I that's what they were for I just I don't know I don't know if I saw you take one but I love that Jojo is a fireball gal it is it's a it's a choice for sure it's a choice it's amazing and we've been texting so hopefully she'll come on the podcast really yeah she's very busy how's her texting persona lovely she sends voice notes oh in the voice in the jojo voice really hey yeah well my friend's gonna be in town that day do you have any other date like really just full wow I picture her sitting in that little construction vest like just she just is who she is I love it I have once in my life loved a lady like i was i like like romantically like i was like oh wait i could

like crush i had a crush on a girl like i never had that before in my life it's not you know and when i i actually think that if i were to ever switch sides jojo siwa is my celebrity crush really she's so cool and she's gorgeous i know that she is she is so pretty it's so pretty i know the ridiculous costumes and all of that but like there's something about her she's just really magical so jojo if chris knight ever leaves me you know because she's single i feel like she could be into it well you know she wants kids i saw the thing that she wanted well that's the problem eddie freddy and fleddy she's gonna name them triplets by three different surrogates she has it all planned out three different surrogates so they're twins but they're not and then there's

like Eddie, Freddie and Fletty or something like ridiculous names. And I was like, well, no, that's never, we're never going to work. That's not going to work for you. JoJo and I will never work. Wow. Even, even if she took care of the kids and you're just like the dad. No, it's not going to work. No, it's not for me. I'd rather have a turtle. Becca, what's going on with you? Not a whole lot. Just sitting here in North Carolina, soaking up the end of summer. And, uh, that's it. It's been a pretty weird summer. I'm going to be honest. I had high hopes and none of them were met. Wow. Bummer. Summer bummer. Yeah. How's little Ford? Bummer summer. Ford's great. Full-time momming is not. Are you no nanny on vacation? No, we are no nanny

vacation people. No judgment because guess what? After the summer, I am. But it's been a lot of travel. We were traveling the day of the entire world, um, crashing the computer crash of, of, of Microsoft and Delta. What? Yeah. We had a 16 hour travel day with a child and I developed COVID within that travel day. I started to feel my body crashing down on me and, uh, there was nowhere to run nowhere to turn just my me myself and covid on a 16 hour and for anybody who's like why did you still get on the plane i didn't know it was covid at the time i just felt like i'm exhausted i'm like my body's a little achy but there was no turning back i was stuck in salt lake city what do you do so yeah you're at the airport i'm there um covid's everywhere

that's yeah that is hot news hot news hot tip the urgent care guy was like i've seen 12 cases and it's not even 10 a.m i was like that's groovy can i ask you about the blackout i couldn't i didn't know anyone that was so i'm sorry to bring this up but like you just got there and like the computers like there just were no computers so are they doing paper tickets like how this was like y2k remember when y2k they were like the whole internet's gonna shut down and we're all like my bank no i know and i think delta's still up from it yeah because they have so many flights like they just the volume that they do and the amount that they got caught up like caught not caught up back lot whatever I don't know the word um I'm so brain dead uh we were on our way to the

airport we were actually not supposed to be going traveling that day but we were trying to get back to Austin we have friends who have a sick child and that's just another addition to summer bummer and we were trying to get back to them to like help out and instead we get to the airport and on our way, we see all this stuff and we were the first flight out. So we keep seeing this stuff about Microsoft crashing and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And we get to the airport and it's like pandemonium. And we just had to shuffle finagle. Zach had to like tell a ticket agent like how to do their job because they had to bring in like contract workers because they needed more people to help. So Zach has been a Delta person. Like he's been like a diamond medallion for like

a decade and his parents both worked for delta for 50 years so he's practically an employee of delta oh my god sack save the day so he like gets the phone from the gate agent starts talking to the contract worker and he's like this is what you're gonna do and he like blah blah blah blah and like he gets us on a flight but it's literally with ford it's a 16 hour travel day to get from Wyoming back to Austin and it was good time. I know. And the entire time we're like, not even sure if flights are going to take off. You're getting on planes to not even know if it's going to take off. Like it was just crazy, but we had no other option. We were like, we have to just try to get back. So we get back and instead of going to help out our friends, um, that's when I was

like, I, before I go be around a sick child, I have to go get tested for anything and everything. Cause I just feel weird. So that's when I went to urgent care and I was like, swab me, swab my nose, my throat, my butt. I don't care what you have to do. I need to make sure I'm healthy. Yeah. So yeah, that was, um, that was about a week ago and we have, it's just been, and this is like such, I hate being Debbie Downer, but, but in the grand scheme of my summers, like with the dead dog COVID travel day from hell, our friends, the biggest thing right now is our friends and their son who's very sick. I mean, when it rains, it really pours. So I'm having, um, but I decided today I'm going to do something very important. I'm going to take an hour to shave my body,

to apply sunless tanner, to tint my eyebrows and bleach my teeth. And I'm going to work from the outside in because the inside out is not quite working at the moment. Um, cause I got to get But at least the last week and a half of our summer travels has to be worth it. And you know what? It'll help. A self-tan changes everything. It literally changes everything. I'm not even kidding.

I know. It'll help. It'll help. It's why. I said to my sister, I go, you're going to have to get in here with the mitt in about an hour to get my back. She was like, can I do it too? I also feel down.

I'm like, yeah, let's go for it. Let's go for it. You're going to feel better. 100%. at work on this week, I had like a very bad hair day, face day, outfit day. Was it a bad wig day or hair day? It was a bad wig day. It was like the wig needs to be washed. But a lot of my like expert people are in Paris right now for the Olympics. So I'm like, listen, there's no B team at E news, but it's like, you know, when you're just used to the way someone does it and you like

it. And maybe this person had not worked with this piece before. I just felt so ugly. And I looked at Derek and I was like, I want to go home. And he's like, you can't, you're the host. And I was like no but i need to i was like oh and so like i get it and then i went home i i like scrubbed top i did the full shot like scrub top to bottom plucked my eyebrows shaved my legs applied like a delicious smelling tangerine moisturizer like hair mask and i was like tomorrow's a new day babe you've got this and like yeah you know what i think that all this inside work is overrated not overrated like you need it but i appreciate this becca and i think all of our ladies should know that like sometimes you do have to start on the outside yeah if it's not working yeah you know

who inspired here will you up it's true i need to get my nails done you know what inspired this is um the dallas cowboys cheerleaders because i've been watching the the series it is outstanding these women i just love so deeply and i just look at them and i'm like there may be something to this whole thing where you tease your hair and you put lipstick on for every day even for rehearsal yeah so i might my new 2025 halfway through or maybe halfway through 2024 into 25 maybe i'm a new person and i'm just gonna be a texan through and through i'm gonna blow out my hair and do a full face of makeup and a tan every day yeah i love it i love it well we weren't here i'm sorry you're having such a hard summer but we weren't here for a long time we're here for a shallow
