It's time for a quickie.
Podcast One presents The Lady Gang, The Hollywood Girl Posse with Lady Gang Quickie.
Here's Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Let's make this quick.
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Lady Gang Quickie. I am Becca here with Jack and Kelty.
This is the Met Gala post-mortem.
Post-mortem.
Well, I wanted to text you guys all day.
And I was like, I can't because we're going to save it on the podcast.
But before we get to Met Gala, breaking news, Whitney is leaving Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
I saw this.
But she like announced it on during Chicago.
Yeah, because, you know, like Roxy makes the news.
So she opens the thing to like do the news.
And she's like, Whitney Levitt's leaving Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
Honestly, killer, like fame game.
10 out of 10.
She really is just playing it exactly how she wanted to play it.
And it's working out for her like magically.
However, in my opinion, too soon.
She needed to do one more season.
She is doing one more season.
She's doing season five.
Oh, the one that's about to air.
Like the one that's like filming right now,
she's going to be in and then she's out.
So I think it actually is pretty good.
Well, because the reality to start on Pipeline
really dries up after this.
It's like reality star, brand deals,
dancing with the stars, Roxy,
and then you either have to go host a hit show
or go on The Traitors?
No, she's acting in a movie.
Right, I was going to say.
Like a lead role in a movie.
I don't know what kind of movie it is,
but she's acting.
Probably like a Lifetime or something.
But I have a feeling, you guys,
I have a feeling she's going to make it.
Like, I think that she's just like
the right amount of crazy
and like believes in herself so much.
And to me, she like literally looks like a superstar.
like she looks like an A-list actress to me. She's so stunning. Like I could see her actually
doing it. Well, Ariana is acting pretty regularly now. Like she's doing like she's on some hospital
show or something. Yeah, the guest starring. Yeah, that's true. She's acting regularly. I mean,
at this point, nothing is off limits for a reality star. So she'll probably be at the Met next year,
speaking of. Probably. Honestly. Okay. So first the hot tea. I got to work with Sierra
from Summer House. Kelty, I love this outfit that you're wearing. Very, I don't even know
how to describe it. Thank you so much. I had a little photo shoot earlier today. I got new denim
from Fabletics. A secret. I love when people are like big secret of the real. I just need people
to know that I'm doing the thing, you know, got to keep it. And then like right after that,
I posted a woman named Sheila who said this old lady looked like next to Jason Kennedy. I thought
Kelty got a face that she looks older. You know what, Sheila, go yourself. Who is this woman?
Like where did you investigate or whatever? No, I, you know, I don't investigate anymore. I have
enough revenge going on plotting in my life right now. I don't have time for stranger revenge
anymore i used to but thank you so much i do enjoy my coat um okay sierra was she's the bomb
we'd be friends with her you know she's got the vibe she's got the vibe like basically
so i found out she was doing it and then i dm'd her and bronwyn on i don't i don't like you know
i never watched summer house like i've never watched an episode so i was like so i dm'd her
i was like hey so excited to be working with you let me know if you need anything or whatever
because I had heard from our talent person
that when she had called both Bronwyn
from Salt Lake City and Ciara,
they were both like almost in tears,
like excited to do this.
Like it really meant a lot to them.
Yeah.
And Ciara's one of the only influencer
to red carpet host that doesn't drive me bananas.
She at least is holding the mic in the correct hand.
Ciara's badass.
She's just cool.
We were sending each other pictures of her fitting.
She like got there.
she's so gorgeous in real life then that she goes i was like your skin is so beautiful she goes i
don't really have facials of course not she's no she's literally god's natural and she's just funny
like we were talking about nicole kidman and how long her hair was and she goes i love a white
woman in a weave like she really has that like yeah joy did you seem did you seem uh nervous
nervous because I would be shitting my pants. Yeah. I mean, I think I know she was nervous.
Bronwyn seemed nervous. Like everyone's nervous. I'm even a little nervous. I mean,
it's a big deal and you don't know what's going to come at you. So let's talk about some of the
things. Have you guys seen Beyonce? Yes. The skeleton. Yeah. Do you hate it, Becca? Hate it.
Hate it. Well, what art was. OK, so correct me if I'm wrong. I learned this last night.
the theme was art like recreating art the theme is jack's happy hour mail club print i could give
two i'm sorry about any celebrity event but i watched it because of you kelsey i watched you
for half of it and i did watch the dresses but like i mean the whole thing is very dystopian
to me but besides that um it was art it was like creating art fashion is art so it was like you're
supposed to be inspired by either like a painting or and then they were celebrating in the museum
like three different types of bodies. So it was like the aging body, which is why Bad Bunny went
like old, the pregnant body and the disabled body. And like, so they were like celebrating
the body types, archetypes of body. And then, you know, and I think it was just really difficult
because, you know, here's the thing they do is such a disservice because they keep everything
so close to the vest. We really needed a visual for this one. Like there was a girl that came out
in the ugliest like flower dress that had this big flower train. And I was like, she looks like
a burnt up, like it looked like a prairie dress from TJ Maxx that was like burnt up and like,
I'm sure it was beautiful. And then this morning I saw the painting that she was emulating and I
was like, oh, okay. It's not, you needed the art, but no one told us the art before. We're just
supposed to guess? The only reason why anything made sense to me was like afterwards on Instagram,
I saw some like posts about like, oh, this is like a Claude Monet painting.
And I was like, oh, the dress itself is ugly.
But like now I get the reference.
So like this makes more sense.
They really needed to do that.
They should have done that on you when you guys were doing it.
I know, but we didn't.
They didn't tell us the art and then we'd have to clear it.
It would be the whole thing.
Here's what I learned at the Met Gala.
Blue Ivy is 14.
Tan lines are back.
Yeah.
The children.
So what are we doing?
Are we just like wearing a bathing suit when we're getting our spray tan?
What are you going to do?
You remember the little Playboy bunny we put on our hips in the 90s?
Yes.
Oh, I was going to bring that back anyways.
I meant to, and then I kept forgetting to buy the stickers.
I love it.
I meant to bring it back.
And you could, single-handedly.
I did want, I did want spray tan like that.
I like it.
Yeah, because everyone was like, oh, her and her poor, her poor, uh, Blue Ivy walked and
she sort of had this off the shoulder thing and she's got really bad tan lines.
And everyone's like, oh, my God, her poor tan lines.
It, like, really ruins the look.
I was like, make no mistake, bitches and gentlemen.
If Beyoncé and Blue Ivy did not want those tan lines to exist,
we would be covering them up in a hot second.
Yeah.
Very intentional.
Yeah.
That was a deliberate tan.
That was a choice.
Mm-hmm.
Okay, well, Becca hated Beyoncé.
You just, it's too much for you.
Well, what was she emulating?
What was her painting?
It was the human body.
Hmm.
Like the human form, I think.
You know, I just don't like costumey.
I either need everyone in costume or I need everybody in like a theme that is a nod to
a like, you know, a thematic nod to something.
I don't want to see somebody looking like Amanda Seyfried, who looked beautiful in like
a baby pink, very simple gown standing next to Heidi Klum as the Statue of Liberty or
whatever the fuck it was.
So I just feel like it's a free for all and they could do a better job of like streamlining what we are seeing and the experience as like the viewer.
It's odd.
I feel like this is this happens every year is only like 10 percent of the people actually dress on theme and everybody else is just doing whatever they want and it never looks cohesive.
Well, I'm sorry.
These bitches have to step their pussy up,
which I can't say on E!
But I've been wanting to say for 24 hours now.
Like, do not come to the Met Gala
in a dress you could wear to the Golden Globes
or the Oscars.
That is not the point.
And it's like, it really ruins the vibe.
Like you said, Becca,
like there was the girl who plays
Carolyn Bessette or whatever.
And she wore like this green Loewe thing.
And it's like, that's a Grammy's dress. And it's just such a bummer because then the next person is coming with like a mask on and like a sword. And you're just like, that person's going to feel dumb. But also like, I don't know. It's just like, sometimes they take themselves so seriously.
But I also think, Becca, if you got in, this is what I want to know from you.
You're pretty chic, bitch.
Like, I don't know that I've even seen you in a, like a polka dot, maybe a little bit
of a pattern, but like.
She's not wearing a costume.
You don't wear costume.
We don't even really wear a pattern or like a g'dunkaduck, right?
Like even you, it's like pretty sleek.
If you got invited to the Met, could you, like, could you get over yourself enough to
go full out because it's the Met or are you just stuck in that? Well, they're just at the mercy of
the designer that they're being dressed by. So a lot of them, I mean, I'm sure at a certain level
of fame, you can dictate, like I'm sure Beyonce had a creative meeting and her vision was the
one that came to life. But I think for somebody like Sarah Pigeon, who's just now kind of breaking
out, she's at the mercy of whatever her stylist and whatever the designer is saying that she's
supposed to wear. And I feel like a lot of those people, those little starlets are often in a more
simple, low maintenance look. And I don't know if it's their choice at all. So I, I mean, if I,
if somebody tried to make me wear a skeleton dress, I think I would just maybe say, no, thank
you. Can we go back to the drawing board on this? I'm quite short. I don't know if this is going to
really flatter my figure, but yeah, it's just gotten, I think it's, I think we're, I think
we're all set guys. I think we're done. With the Met? Yeah. We're done because you know what? It
was like, first of all, society is at a place right now where they're very mad and they're
pissed off and they don't want to see opulence because everybody is just fighting for their
lives out there. And even somebody, you know, no, just everybody, everybody, it's all relative,
But these people are prancing around like it's 2012 and we don't have any problems and everybody's doing so well and like the economy, not everybody in the economy is booming and everyone's happy.
We didn't have a pandemic. We didn't have, you know, this political craziness.
And so it just feels so tone deaf to now parade around in the way. And I know that it's for a good cause.
I know that the the the reason for it is to keep these things alive and it's art and culture and
all the things I think we have to figure out what that means now because that's not the reason
that's not the reason anybody's going is for the charity aspect like we all know that people are
going because it's a scene and it's like popular kids getting invited and cool kids get invited and
I just think like nobody first of all nobody's fascinated and and in love with celebrities
anymore nobody like worships people the way that they used to like angelina and and brad like they
used to be like i can't wait we weren't like so inundated with the lifestyle of these people
they do for they do for connor and hudson i i haven't seen anything like this from heated
rivalry oh oh those guys yes i mean people feel like it's very minimal but i agree with you
i think the most speaking of tone deaf i gotta talk about blake lively showing up in the princess
dress i mean this is this is crazy this is crazy she wasn't invited right there was something she
was but the the lawsuit got cleared yesterday like literally like two hours before the met
And you know she did that on purpose so she could go.
She settled?
You think she settled the lawsuit so she could wear that ugly dress?
That was an ugly dress.
I don't think that it wasn't just a coincidence.
I mean, maybe it wasn't just for that, but like, that's too coincidental.
I think she was sitting there fully ready and waiting for the call from her lawyer.
I think she was hoping that the timing was going to line up
and that there would be a decision made.
And she's like, all right, we're getting out of the car.
Yeah, I think she was on a Zoom, in a laptop, in a Sprinter van,
being like, you guys, I need to get on the Wi-Fi.
I have to find out if I have to pay Justin Baldoni $20 million
or if I could go party at the Met Gala.
But what's crazy is like, she has crushed Met Galas in the past.
This was so ill-advised.
is like you have just been through a legal reckoning
where your personal,
whether you're the bad guy or the good guy in it,
fine, Jack Woods aside, I'm the first degree.
But like you got massacred here, right?
Like your friends are not talking to you.
No, everybody hates you.
And she literally got out in the,
one of the discarded,
enchanted to meet you tool dresses
that Taylor Swift wear on Arrow's tour
and like couldn't wear it,
didn't have time to wear it. And she was like, Taylor, can I have the enchanted dress?
I mean, it was, when you talk about gauche, like it was massive. It was so big. It was
bubblegum colors. It was like a rainbow. It was bubblegum colors.
It was bubblegum colors. I honestly think that's such a great descriptive word for that.
Wait, I'm so sorry. Okay, continue. But this just reminded me of a headline I just saw.
What? Just another like,
because I was thinking about the strained relationship of Blake
and why wasn't Ryan with her?
Yeah.
Well, because, okay, you don't get a plus one.
You have to be invited individually.
Right, but he is extremely famous.
Usually when it's a couple that is both people are equally as famous,
they go together.
Well, and Timothy was at a, like, basketball game, Chalamet.
Well, I will say the Met was pretty small this year, and I know that—
Sorry, I have one question before we go any further.
Sorry.
Was the dress ugly?
yes. Yes. No. Do people actually have to pay, what, a hundred grand? Is that what it is to go?
Or what is the logistical financial obligations? Okay. So most people that are going are invited
by a table. So Meta had a table. Well, Govee had a table. Snapchat, they did. They did.
Who's on Govee's table? We'll see soon because in order, sorry, this is some very insider
information. No, it's good. I want this. Allie is the Meta big pharma company that I, we would
love them as a sponsor. So I'm just saying that, um, we would love to be those people. Um, but
anyway, so they, um, they offered you a seat at their table, but it was as part of, uh, the
Wagovi and Vogue. And you had to do a get ready with me video. That's going to go up on vogue.com
that has the logo of the whatever. So you had to say yes to that, but like people are desperate
to go to the Met Gala.
So they're like, yeah, fine.
What if I was at that table?
Well, I don't know.
I think Angela Bassett,
but I'm not 100% sure.
Because we don't get the seating chart.
What about if you're not invited to a table?
You have to just...
You are.
Everyone's invited to a table.
So the tickets are like,
essentially people buy a table
of 10 tickets for a million dollars.
And then there's a...
Every year is a little different.
Like Anna does have a select,
like where she'll allow 20 tickets
or whatever to just be bought
individually and then there used to be this thing like the cheap seats where they would like open
them up to people like anna winter went to the met gal for the first time in the cheap seats or
whatever that were like 75 at the time um but yeah no you have to be invited by a brand but
the problem with this year it was like big tech met because nobody has any money the designers
could not afford to bring to so normally it was like this is the stella mccartney table this is
the gucci table this is the chanel table this is and they all come in the design the versace table
I think Michael Kors had a table, maybe. I know there was a Chanel table, but then it was like
Meta, Snapchat, like all of the tech giants. Who also don't have money. What's going on?
Well, they have money. Tech people have money.
They're also floundering, whatever. Anyways.
Well, everything's garbage. It's really difficult.
I think that's why it wouldn't be so weird if it was just the designers again, because it's
that makes sense. It's like a night of fashion, a night of art. There's designers there and they're
dressing their stars. And like the whole thing is not so much the oligarchy and it's more of a
fashion and stars and art meet in one night. But now it's like, who the is that person?
Yeah. And like, we have to go back. Here's what I think. Okay. Nobody asked us,
But if we were to redo the Met Gala, I think, listen, you know, if Amazon or Walmart or whatever giant company wants to come in and give this money to like oversee it, that's amazing.
Double that.
Double that and then take down the price of the designer tables because the designers don't have a million dollars.
So like put the ticket down for the designers, like a regular Hollywood gala, which is like the best seats in the house or $50,000 a seat, which sounds insane, but is what happens at these like things.
things you know and then there's like the ten thousand dollar seats in the back or whatever
and then let the big corporations that have all this money it's just a tax write-off for them
let them like double or triple their and like thing and then everyone will be like oh my god
and you get to bring all these people for free and then have a table just like fit students there
you know i mean there's a democratizing this experience which is the opposite of what's
happening right now yeah for sure for sure i had a great time i will tell you what other tea did
you is there anything else to report oh um well the the heated rivalry boys literally got back to
their hotel at 7 30 to like in the morning i saw that they i'm worried for them up too i worry for
them like they really love to party which i love and it's giving good hollywood but like are they
okay is it too much like becca when glee first took off like when you guys got on glee and it
was like the new cast you guys partied right or were you working so hard like there was so much
working that like but they were still managing to party but you i mean this is me just
speculating you can't stay out till 7 30 in the morning unless you're on cocaine or adderall
so i do worry if that's what's happening yeah i mean we all we all know yeah
the lady gang okay the tea so that and that oh um the blake of it all like i just don't it just
it was such a weird thing because as she like got on the carpet the overall was like
like sometimes you just have to sit it out and i think that's really uncomfortable for people
that are used to being so famous it's like it's not your year i actually think like even if amazon
had come in like next year to do the exact same thing it would have like there's just been so
much heat with the wedding and the like you know what I mean it's just like wasn't the right time
to now and then I don't know if you guys saw Devil Wears Prada did you see it no okay so I'm not
spoiling anything but the entire plot of Devil Wears Prada is a billionaire man coming in to
buy the magazine to put his wife who's now Emily Blunt on the cover that's the entire plot of
Devil Wears Prada to is that the magazine is struggling. Miranda Priestly has to hang her
own coat. She can't throw her coats around anymore. Stanley Choochie's taking like maybe
getting fired. Like he makes too much money. He's worked there for too long. Like it's literally
real time. Like it's wild what's happening in the entertainment business. And so it's just crazy
because they know that Anna Wintour co-signed on it. So it's I don't know. It's just funny.
um it's all fake like it's all it's it's like you're it's like the message of that is like oh
yeah like you know Jeff Bezos or whatever and it's like you guys are all owned by the same thing like
everybody is just like we all are like but that's what I think is so funny it's like you're trying
to make a statement yet it's like you're not really making a statement because no one can
afford to yeah that's the problem nobody can really afford to lash out that much and like
that's the reality like Hollywood is dying and anybody with money right now that can save
your individual job your individual department your individual magazine whatever the thing is
it's like everyone is selling out so that they can put food on their tables like it's actually
a very sad situation that were the existence of a lot of a lot of industries but really
specifically like this industry is. Yeah. I mean, you guys, listen, I love avocados.
Do I need to do like an avocado ad at the Oscars on E? I don't know. Like it seems like a stretch,
but like if that's who's paying the bills, like you do an avocado ad. That's just the way it goes.
I'll do any ad. No, for sure. I'm like, where? What avocado guac? I was like almost going to
take a clutch full of guacamole on the red carpet this year and like have a snack, which I honestly
think is kind of iconic, but we're in a terrible, terrible place. Um, the other thing I would say
was that Rihanna was super late shocker. And it was kind of weird because, Oh, here's the tea.
You guys need to look up Rihanna's teeth. Something's going on. What do you mean? Yeah,
I know. I know she loves to smoke weed and you know how like, as everyone has veneers,
she doesn't and oh you can tell okay and you can tell that she smokes a lot like her teeth are
starting to kind of be like kind of grimy and there's a close-up i saw of her teeth and she
had like shit in her teeth like where is her flosser where is her hair and makeup person
putting her little flosser yeah you know i don't see it hold on that's such a specific um i know
sorry i don't mean to go after rihanna's teeth but it was just a very strange thing that i noticed i
was like because you're so used to like everyone having these perfect white bleached teeth and i
was like oh rihanna doesn't give a interesting anyway cool so that was well we're at you looked
great kelty and you people will never turn on you just shit just sheila um yeah no i mean i also
only got told I was doing it a week and a half before so I I really was very disappointed in
my look I mean it came together it was fine but like it looked great I felt so underdressed I
wanted a costume it's the you know it's like it's when I do my best work yeah you know and I was
just like in a simple Oscar de la Renta dress that I rented um and then like I had three headpieces
delivered and then Justin Sylvester was like you can't wear headpiece it's too cheesy and then I
put the little snaps in my hair which I like loved in theory and then I saw them later and I was like
I'm going to hate this in two weeks. Like I'm going to be like, why did I do that? But I needed
something. Yeah. You needed a zhuzh. You gave it some pizzazz, you know? You know, but it's like
my hair is a little muddy right now. I was not. I really forgot that this existed. Like award
season ended at the yellow dress. And that's all I had planned. And you can tell that like I
I was not ready for this. The body wasn't ready. Like nothing about it was ready. You know,
You'll live on.
Live your life.
But I will say this.
Even Albright, okay?
Albright is this place in Hollywood
where people rent their dresses from.
Becca, you'll remember this.
Oh, and Jack, you know,
we rented things back in the day
and it was like the most expensive thing
was like $1,000 for an outfit.
And you would go and they would give you clutch,
bag, shoe, earring, and the whole outfit.
And you'd walk out the door
with your hanging bag for $1,000.
And you were like, oh, this is so much money.
But it's high-end designer.
This is probably $10,000 look.
I'm gonna wear it on the carpet.
Like it was a better deal.
I went to get that dress and I got an invoice for $250 for the fitting. And I was like,
oh, and then they're going to apply that to like my rental, right? No, it was $1,600
to rent my shoes and dress. And I was like, hey, I think you guys overcharged me. And they say,
we put our prices up last year. Even the goddamn luxury rental is unaffordable. I was like, well,
I can never do this again.
Like I'm going to have to continue
to like get stuff on RealReal or for free.
Wow.
Sorry, Kelty.
I know.
This is like champagne problems.
Anyway.
Okay.
So my, even Tiana Taylor was like,
she looked great.
Cardi B looked like your intestines.
Actually, that was one of the things
I wanted to say on TV
and we didn't come to her.
I was like, Jack,
this is why you can't shit on TV.
Cause she like, did you see Cardi B?
She like looks like a giant intestine.
She's all like, she's constipated.
Is a constipated dress.
This was supposed to be from some painting.
I forget what it was, though.
But that was a reference to something.
Yeah.
So, you know, listen.
I feel like we had the same conversation last year during the Mac.
Like, I feel like we could just repurpose it.
Well, I just think I want to go back and look at it and see, like, when it was really in its heyday, you know?
Heavenly Bodies was the best of all time.
That was a good one.
That was a really good one.
It's, like, very clear.
It's very concise.
it's like
this is what it is
like that was great
the Charles James one
the year
because that was like
a structured ball gown
like everyone came
in a ball gown
like I didn't even like
the colors of the steps
at the Met Gala
the green
like nobody looks good
with reflecting green
oh
anyway
it's fine
my job's dying
please use our codes
of our Lady Gang ads
so I can continue
to pay my rent
really appreciate that
I do have exciting news
what?
I'm going to see
Jennifer Tilly
on Broadway tomorrow.
What is she in?
She's in something called
The Smashing Machine.
Fun.
No, that's a rock movie.
The Calculation Machine.
She's in a show on Broadway,
a play.
You know, it's funny,
when I was watching
Housewives reunion,
Beverly Hills,
I was thinking,
I think it's time for Jennifer
to go back to acting
for a little bit.
And I'm glad to hear
she's doing this.
Well, I heard a rumor
that she was going to be
on White Lotus
and then it wasn't true
and I was so bummed.
She would have been so good.
Yeah, I know.
I'm super, super bummed about that.
I'm going to ask her for the tea.
I'll report back.
Yeah.
No, she needs to just act for a while.
And then I also saw my beloved Amanda Francis.
Oh, my God.
I also have so much other tea.
But this, I'm going to wait and tell you on Monday.
But Amanda Francis allegedly is not coming back to Housewives.
Right.
She was like, why would I ever do that again?
I thought that she said that she was.
Who knows?
Did you guys see?
I mean, she shouldn't.
There have been headlines about Alex Cooper and her husband, Matt Kaplan, not sleeping in the same bedroom.
But like, who knows that?
Who's getting this information?
I don't know.
An inside source could be a friend.
I don't think they were sleeping in the same bedrooms before this.
Well, it didn't look like it was like sparks.
But also, where's Alex Earle's thing?
She said she was going to present us with information.
No, she never said that.
She didn't say she was going to present you a PowerPoint.
She never said anything.
What was her response?
She said on it.
She said on it sarcastically.
Yeah.
But like, you should probably do something.
I think this is genius because like, really, when you look at it, just because Alex Cooper
demanded that she said something doesn't mean she has to say anything.
She's not her mom or her boss.
She doesn't have to do anything.
The optics are great for Alex Earl.
No, to me, it's not good.
To me, I'm like, this is Alex Cooper being able to say, see, see, she can't prove anything.
But she also didn't share anything.
She also didn't share any receipts or anything.
But then everyone else came out with their receipts.
Here's what I think is happening.
I think the Vanity Fair article is still in the works.
And I think Alex is a part of that.
Alex with an I.
And I think Alex with an I is waiting to see what happens with that before she comes out with her story.
And then I also did...
Oh, she's saving it for her reality show.
Yeah, of course.
And then I just want to let you guys know that I'm almost percolated.
I'm almost a ripe banana.
I have practiced what I'm going to say about my situation three times in the shower now.
Okay.
So I'm almost ready.
But here's my, I need some success coaching from you guys.
Oh, your situation with the person.
Okay, got it.
I don't, I was interviewed by Vanity Fair.
I think I said that on the podcast already.
And I was like, you can tell, you can say this on the record because like this was not a big deal.
For Alex Cooper.
Yeah.
What did you say?
Vanity Fair person got my number.
I guess you probably shouldn't, right?
Well, it could be a whole episode, you know?
But here's my question.
No, we need to save this.
No, I'm going to tell you at some point, but you know that I'm thirsty for fame, okay?
So it has to be at the right time where you're going to get the most coverage.
Like right now, if I do it, it will just be like Kelty and Brianna chicken finger fry,
you know?
And I don't think that that's where I want to be.
I think I want to wait for Vanity Fair to see what happens, which is probably what Alex
than I is doing. I want to wait for some of these unwell employees to come forward because my story
is not like that insane. It's just kind of like levels of ick. And it corroborates things that
other people would. Yeah. And it's like just levels of ick. So I don't have like some like,
you know, but maybe it's a little, but it's just kind of like, I don't know. It's weird. Like,
am I starting to feel bad for her because her husband is awful?
Allegedly, you know, like, but then I'll be honest.
I'll be honest if and I think I've said this before.
If this were a male run company, this would not even be talked about story.
I know it sucks to be a woman.
It sucks to be a woman on top of the mountain,
because when you're on top of the mountain,
you have to make sure that you are nice and kind and polite
to all the right things and say the right things.
And if you don't, it's like the moment one person says,
well, she was kind of a bitch. Then it's just a mudslide of people who want to come in. And
because this person has maybe made you feel bad about yourself at one time or another,
it feels really good if you've been kind of treated poorly to then pile on to this person.
But then if you were to take out all these little tiny moments, it's like, that's what men do all
day like your story is going to be one tiny piece of like what a man does every day and Alex's story
it's going to be a tiny piece but because we're piling them all together because she is a woman
and we've not done this with any men I don't think ever unless he's jerking off into a potted plant
we don't actually go up in arms yeah I'm like damn not the potted plant like it's that's what
it takes for people to then be like look at the receipts he's a terrible person but it's just like
you're right we are throwing her over the fire and we're like but epstein but here well listen
i've been screaming that one we're like oh man we're not being easy on him but people are being
anyways that's a different conversation um i'm saying i will say as women we should like i think
that we're better than that though like yeah it's like misogyny like at its finest in the
patriarchy and whatever but like i do think that women should be better just like we should be
kinder to each other and stuff um i also don't think she gives a i think that she still is and
she hasn't gotten canceled she doesn't give so yeah but like to find a man who gives a is is the
exception to the rule in her like a man in her position who gives a is the exception to the rule
and it's sad because like no one expects anything from men nobody if it's like a bonus if they're
kind to their people and they do the right thing and they're gracious and they are they go above
and beyond to make the people who work for them feel good and all the people around them feel
good it's like some people are just not wired that way and it's like probably a huge part of
her success, unfortunately, is because she can operate like a man. And that's like, I hope that
it's not her husband who is the absolute like worst captain of the ship. Like I hope she isn't
being taken for a ride and being dragged down because a man that she's decided to marry is
the piece of shit. And she's actually incredibly kind. Like I actually just hope that they're the
equals to one another that they're just I think they're very I think they are ambitious it's a
dog-eat-dog world we're gonna do whatever we gotta do because let's be honest you really don't get
anywhere being nice there's no being nice and getting anywhere in this business where we are
where we are so nice but yeah I mean you can't get to the top without literally stomping on
people's backs unfortunately yes but yeah I mean that's yeah then it's just like how
what type of a person are you and are you a good person or not? I'm a bad person. Those are two
different things, though. It's like, is she a bad person and does she hurt a lot of people along the
way? If a man did that, would he not get like those are like different parts of the conversation.
You know, it doesn't mean that what she's doing is like right. No, I'm not saying but I don't
think that there I don't think a pile on is necessary unless something comes out that is
absolutely atrocious like if it's that she's a bitch then okay like she's a bitch she's a bitch
if it if she you know takes advantage of people who work for her or like all these allegations
like if all these things are true it's like great like get in line every single person out there
like it's just a little bit sad to me that this is I thought it was going to be fun you know what
mean? Like I thought it was going to be like a Alex Earl would come out and finally tell her
side of the story. And then it would kind of be something that like maybe they could resolve it
together. Maybe there could be some clarification. Like I do wish that this had been more strategic
on both of their ends and that they could just sit down and actually have a conversation. Like
how incredible would that be for women in general as a society? Like it's just sucks that now it's
just girl against girl girl against girl like it just sucks because who's no one's even talking
about Matt Kaplan like what the like they're barely talking about him barely no they're not
but it started it trickled and then it has been put on pause right oh you know because everyone
yeah it's like it definitely has been I think anyway long story short um I haven't slept in
two days. So I'm going to go take a shower. I just ate some churros. Love you guys. Thanks
for your support. Um, thanks for create, helping me create my worst performing glam bot of the
season. Um, it's making me feel really good. Um, and that's fine. Um, I picked the wrong song,
you know, unfortunately. I didn't see it. Yeah. You didn't pick your own song. No one saw it.
The algorithm hates me. No, it's fine. I did. You know, it's not like I go against all the other
hosts on e and like check out how many views they got and compare myself like i didn't do that i
totally did that of course because like that's how i operate um anyway love you guys i'm really
glad we had this little chat thanks for hopping on and um becca people are still stopping me on
the street talking about your baby oh they're like i watched that 10 times i was like i know
a million people watched it do you see people love babies it's weird i mean i it's very sweet
but it is like
I've had people
come up to me
and be like
oh my god
congratulations
and I don't know
what they're talking about
it's like
well what did
what happened
and then I'm like

okay okay
but it's very sweet
yeah that thing
okay
