Starting point is 00:00:00 So if you guys are doing what I'm doing this year, I am trying to find cleaner products that I'm using every day. So Kopari, one of our favorite brands that you guys know and love, they have a toothpaste. So they have a natural toothpaste, coconut, and it's 100% natural, fluoride-free, sulfate-free, cruelty-free, free of artificial sweeteners. So their toothpaste also restores enamel, whitens teeth, and freshens breath using naturally occurring minerals in antimicrobial coconut oil. So think about it. You've got toothpaste in your mouth multiple times a day. Why would you not want it to be natural and effective? Well, Kopari has
Starting point is 00:00:39 both of those things. It uses activated charcoal to draw out debris and bacteria for an added whitening boost. Hello, white teeth. And if you're into a more classic freshness, their coconut mint variety can easily replace your favorite minty toothpaste. I'm very into it. I was kind of of skeptic at first because i've used the same toothpaste my whole life but i have switched over and i feel great about my choice so go to koparismiles.com slash lady gang to check out koparis toothpaste get 15 off when you sign up for a subscription that's kopari k-o-p-a-r-i smiles.com slash lady gang koparismiles.com slash lady gang check it out well what is this welcome to the lady gang that's amazing say that again the lady gang things are about to change around here
Starting point is 00:01:31 each week we catch up with hollywood's hottest girl posse kelty knight becca tobin and jack vanik hello hello hello and welcome to the lady gang i am becca tobin here with jack vanik and kelty knight just ate six kick cats feeling regret see here's the problem we either have zero snacks in here or we have way too many and i've eaten so many yogurt covered pretzels i feel sick we don't have healthy snacks here should we start doing healthy i mean everyone out there is gonna vote on don't eat while you're podcast but we do a lot we're hungry we need to eat in between yeah we're right we need some baby carrots up in here let's get some baby carrots and some celery carrots you are are you allergic to all carrots uh i think slightly my mouth gets a little
Starting point is 00:02:12 itchy and weird especially the baby oh the baby's different well and baby carrots not natural no It's not? No. What is it? It's not how they come in nature. Wait, do they pound it down and then put it in a form? It does seem like they're smushed, kind of. Like, it might be like a...
Starting point is 00:02:31 Is anyone here a carrot farmer? Do you farm a baby carrot or do you create it from a paste? I bet that there's like a Reddit answer for that. It's not a paste. Okay. Okay. Moving on. Becca?
Starting point is 00:02:42 What time is it? Oh, my God. You're supposed to tell us. It's good week, bad week. No, that's not it at all. It's time for... Good week. Yes, it is. Bad week. Oh, no. Jesus, you guys are useless. I'll go first. I'll go first. I'm ready. Go.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Okay. Bad week. I received a message. Oh, yes. Love these. I know. The thing is, is that I keep doing these, but truly... You feed the beast. No, I think so, too. It's true. But they're so funny. This one was particularly in detail, which I appreciate. Okay. Message. Is it an email? It was an email. Her clothes are horrible. Most of the time, her hair looks really bad.
Starting point is 00:03:24 She isn't ET ready. She needs help from someone that knows what they are doing. I find it hard to watch the show with her on it. Help her. What email did they send this to? To my assistant email on my website. Also, please tell her to act more profession. She just isn't.
Starting point is 00:03:40 First of all, I can't act more profession because that's not a word, mother – Also, they never said your name. So her- No, it was- No, it was me. Oh, it said Kelsey. She sent it to my website. It's probably your nemesis.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Oh, maybe. She'd be way worse. She would email the- First of all, I'll tell you why my- Okay. My hair doesn't look good because like five years ago, I had no fucking hair. I was wearing a wig because I have Hashimoto's disease, which Becca's sister also has, but hers is not as worse as mine.
Starting point is 00:04:07 Mine is terrible and I lost my hair. No, she just takes care of herself and eats normal food. Also, hers is not as worse as mine. Let's talk about grammar freak over here. It's not English. But anyway, so now I'm weird about people touching my hair. And when you have people touching your hair 17 times a day, that's when it breaks off. So now I don't let people touch my hair.
Starting point is 00:04:22 So you know what? If my hair looks fucked up on TV, I'm glad because that means I did it myself. And now it's not breaking off. So go F yourself. I thought your hair looked good today. I know. We actually – here's what we noticed today. We were giving you so many compliments when you weren't here.
Starting point is 00:04:37 You were? Yeah, we were watching you on the TV and we're like, God, Kelsey looks so good. Her neck looks great. Her hair looks good. And then we didn't tell you to your face, but now we are. Wow. Thanks, guys. I don't like complimenting people to their faces.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I don't either. I got a new saying. Yes. Good week. It's not a word for the dictionary, but it – okay. You know how people say big dick energy? Yeah. There's a new one.
Starting point is 00:05:01 B-U-E. Big uterus energy. Yeah. I got a big uterus, baby. I can't get down with this. Is that a thing to be proud of? No. Big uterus energy, honey.
Starting point is 00:05:13 I got the whole world in my uterus. I feel like a big uterus energy just means you have really long and heavy periods. So maybe I do have big uterus energy. I thought it was great. Go. I hate you. I'm going to go. Get off yourselves.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Go. Okay. My good week. I have two mini good week takeaways from my trip to Costa Rica. One of them is it was the first trip that I've ever taken in my life. I think your phone is. Oh, sorry. It was the first trip.
Starting point is 00:05:38 You know you can't hear that? Like on the podcast? Maybe just in her. I can hear it. But not in the – I'd made a discovery because you kept saying it on one of our podcasts, put your phone away, I can hear it, but you can't hear it. Cool. Do you want to do sound engineering on the lady game?
Starting point is 00:05:57 I just made the observation to let you know that we could be cooler about it. Hey, Alex, just make a note. Next time, Becca will be doing the sound engineering. I actually won't be because Kelty won't let me. That's true. I know. Don't you love it? You're like, yeah, I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:06:08 And you're like, no. Never mind. No, we're fine. Okay. I have two good takeaways from my trip to Costa Rica. One, it's the first trip that I've ever been regular in my pooping while traveling. Oh, wow. Bravo.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I went to the bathroom every day. It was amazing. I usually, like, don't go ever. And my stomach is sad. Did you go in front of Jared? Like, not in front of him. And, like, this is, like, a sexual thing. But, like, I went in the hotel room with him.
Starting point is 00:06:36 In the same hotel room? Or did you go down to the lobby? Listen, I have no problem pooping anywhere. Like, when it's coming, like, I got to just go. I don't care. I have no embarrassment with it. So, yes. My second takeaway was there is this place called Burrito Hub that was by our hotel.
Starting point is 00:06:51 And I don't know if they realized that they took their logo from Pornhub, but it is the exact same logo as the website Pornhub. And I loved it. Don't you think the people at Pornhub were like, we need to start a new business. We've gotten all the porn freaks. Like, it's so big. Yeah. They're like, what should we do next? we're like burritos if it was owned by porn hub i would just be so excited burrito hub sounds
Starting point is 00:07:17 sexual it does it's where you get your like sexual burritos you should start calling your vagina it's the burrito hub yeah we want to bue i get the bue okay bad week is a by proxy bad week and wait what that was two comments i had said i had two small takeaways oh there are many takeaways they're halfsies should i split those up girl yeah and i'll let it all right we'll do it gonna be more time to facetune my photo though so continue okay so um one of her lady gangers posted on facebook she's on tinder she was texting a guy and they were talking about like when they're gonna go meet up okay so she texts him like a recommendation for this place and he goes here's my situation my last girlfriend was a regular on a disney sitcom her grandfather on
Starting point is 00:08:03 the walk of fame before that a neurologist from venezuela who started med school at 17 every girl oh they're two hours away from each other he goes every girl comes here i don't drive 50 minutes i simply don't have to i'm already successful and in nine months i'll be a self-made multi-millionaire through my businesses i hang out with whiz mike posner mac miller yeah mac miller r.i.p i'm not driving two hours round trip to meet anyone because everyone are driving from places like indianapolis to to meet me here you seem awesome and i wish you the best but it's just my situation and i have no intent on changing it why would i and then the emoji that's like where does he live indianapolis he sounds like he lives in another country because his grammar is
Starting point is 00:08:46 horrid it's bad it's kelty level grammar it's canadian grammar not as worse as kelty worse as me this guy just like seems like the and it's like do you really hang out with Wiz Khalifa living in, like, the middle of nowhere? No, I will. Take it. First of all, Wiz Khalifa hangs out with a lot of people. Like, 500 people at a party. That doesn't mean you're friends with Wiz Khalifa.
Starting point is 00:09:07 I'm saying, like, he probably paid for a Wiz Khalifa meet and greet and then is saying that he hangs out with Wiz Khalifa. But I appreciate it. Tinder f***ing sucks. Yeah. That guy's a real loss. Becca? He sounds great.
Starting point is 00:09:19 You should date him. Although he's not even open to it. Yeah. He's like, sorry, this is just the way it is. I don't need to drive to people. my great-great-grandfather was a medical student at 17.
Starting point is 00:09:30 What does that even mean? What does that even mean? I just love it. Like the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame kind of impressive. But his first girlfriend was a regular
Starting point is 00:09:38 on a Disney sitcom. She wasn't the star. She wasn't the star. I mean the regular usually means a star. I don't think it was the star. If you're a regular you usually like...
Starting point is 00:09:48 But he would have probably said the star. Like are we regulars on the Lady Gang show? Yeah, because there's no one else. Isn't that the truth? Here we go.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Okay. What the hell? My good week is very mundane, but I was really getting burnt out of the London fog. You know, the Earl Grey latte situation. Well, guess what? I switched it up. It's essentially the same drink, but you do. A green tea.
Starting point is 00:10:14 No, you do English breakfast. No. With it. This is riveting. What was the other tea bag? Earl Grey. Those are literally the same tea. They are not even remotely close.
Starting point is 00:10:24 They're very similar. No, they're not. I'm going to give you a taste test, bitch. Earl Grey has a very, very specific flavor. Okay, yeah, you're kind of right. It's pretty polarizing, okay? Polarizing? Honestly, I...
Starting point is 00:10:42 It's so polarizing, that British tea that I drink with a friend. Anyway, listen, guys. If you just do a lemon fog... Earl Grey tea is so polarizing. It's like the antithesis of what Earl Grey tea is. Girls, back me up, okay? Back me up. All right, there's a very specific flavor to Earl Grey.
Starting point is 00:11:02 It's polarizing. It's either your cup of tea or it ain't. No, I think Earl Grey is a very mild flavor. That's probably everybody's kind of like myth. Not as mild as English breakfast, okay? Anyway, I'm happy for you. So you do your regular London Fog, but you switch out for English breakfast. Riveting.
Starting point is 00:11:19 It is delicious, okay, guys? I do like the London Fog. I'll try it. I've never gotten more comments from girls about a good week since my London Fog. Okay. You know what? It's like London Fog and Aperol Spritz. Just want to take over everything.
Starting point is 00:11:31 When I got a lot of comments about my Bujo and was like, I've never gotten more comments, you were like, that's still dumb. So I'm going to use this opportunity to say it doesn't matter what the public thinks. Let me make a correction, you guys. Here's the equivalent. When Kelty texts Jack and I and says, people are freaking out over my Bujo, should we put pens in the lady box. That's the equivalent of
Starting point is 00:11:56 me being like, should we put tea bags in the lady box? Should we put a single Earl Grey tea bag? Girls are freaking out. I would like some tea in the lady box. Alright, work on it. We should make a granny box. It's just things I like. Kelty box. Pens and tea
Starting point is 00:12:12 bags. Pens and tea and new notepads and a highlighter. Alex, wouldn't you be into that? Alex is not into this. She's like, can you just finish this so I can go home? Alex is a boss lady. She does not boo Joe. okay she would bujo though you do bujo damn it damn okay all right she has written to-do lists here's my bad week so i think that i'm pretty like frugal when it comes to certain things some things definitely not but when it comes to like shower products like body washes sometimes
Starting point is 00:12:44 shampoos i get a little cheap with it like whatever my husband insists on using Le Labo body wash. Oh, that's like $150. And Oribe shampoo. For you guys who are listening and haven't seen a picture of my husband, Zach Martin, please check out
Starting point is 00:13:04 his flowing locks that require a $40 bottle of shampoo. Wait, that's amazing. Does he use conditioner, too? No. But, like, if I introduced him to some bougie-ass conditioner, I'm sure he would. But, like,
Starting point is 00:13:19 really we're like 200 deep in your shower thing like and i'm using a bar of soap who i married a mom so weird married mariah carey do you use a bar of soap though sometimes it's weird i think people that use bars of soap are so weird i don't normally wear socks to bed I wear socks to bed. I don't. Do you? Yes, she does. Of course she does.
Starting point is 00:13:47 No, I don't normally do a bar of soap, but like I'm not above it. I'm not above it if it's a bar of soap or nothing. Zach wouldn't use a bar of soap while camping. Like I've never seen him use a bar of soap in my life. I definitely wouldn't use a bar of soap camping because that's when it like attracts all the dust and dirt on it. It's soap. It is an automatically clean all the time. I learned about pubes because of the bar of soap in my household.
Starting point is 00:14:14 You don't share a bar of soap. Oh, I guess you did when you were growing up in my house. Okay, next. Ew! It's disgusting. Who's coming? Okay. I'm excited.
Starting point is 00:14:24 We're going to loosen up our buttons and get that soap in there. We're bringing in one of my bandmates. My group mates. We're so excited. I want to be in the band. Me too, so bad. Hey, guys. Guess what?

Starting point is 00:16:20 Now back to the Lady Gang. Our guest today got her start on the road to fame as the lead singer for Eden's Crush, but rose to superstardom as a member of the Pussycat Dolls, continuously heating up the charts. She's sold over 60 million records and has reached full doll domination. She was nominated for an Olivier Award for her role in the Broadway musical Cats. If you don't know what that is, it's basically a Tony. It's a big deal. She even won the Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars. She sang two nights sold out with Bocelli, which is a major big deal.
Starting point is 00:16:52 That's some fancy voices. And now she's taking on the world as a judge on the hit show The Masked Singer and making us all want to loosen up our buttons and take off our hats. Please welcome to the Lady Gang, Nicole Scherzinger. Welcome. Thanks for that introduction. Dude, I remember when you— You've got to go back and re-say buttons, though, because she says our butt-tons. I'm Canadian.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Oh, so cute. I remember when you were the first person that made me realize what the Olivier Awards were. Because it was all people I'd never heard of. And then you were nominated. I remember following you and you wore like that beautiful black dress. Was it like black and like kind of like tight mermaid-y? Yeah, exactly. And I was like, wait, this is a thing.
Starting point is 00:17:36 What is this? And then I looked it up and I was like, oh, shit. It's the English version of the Tonys. And Becca was on Broadway. Named after Laurence Olivier, obviously. so it's a big coup to get in the libby oh my gosh broadway tell me everything i mean what did you do i did um rock of ages but you know what my first professional job was cats oh my god what were you the white cat i did was not the white cat i was etc the kitten
Starting point is 00:18:03 oh i love you it was fun you're so cute you were grizzabella right i was grizzabella i sang I sang Memory. That's so good. I thought you were so good. So crazy. Okay. Masked Singer, when you signed on, did you have any idea that this show would be the insane hit that it is? No.
Starting point is 00:18:24 It's so big, dude. Obviously, when you sign on to something, you can only hope and pray that it's going to be well-received and successful. But it definitely exceeded our expectations. we're like me and Ken were hosting on Fox the countdown for New Year's and we're like well
Starting point is 00:18:47 here goes nothing because it's aired two days after that or a day after we're like well you know we had a good time we had a good time and it's yeah I guess it's proven a hit as they call it and that's just blowing my mind
Starting point is 00:19:02 people are coming up to me out of left and right and asking me who's who under the mask. And it just tickles me so much. I'm really grateful. I'm just so happy that people are watching it and enjoying themselves in a little escape. I have so many questions about this because I am a big fan of this show.
Starting point is 00:19:21 But for your looks, so we have a TV show now on E! And it's always like a little bit of a clusterfuck to get our looks together. But you had kind of perfected every single episode of Masked Singer. There's a whole new look. we're going on a new vacation like was that all planned is there like a gigantic team behind you
Starting point is 00:19:39 for the looks no see what y'all aren't used to is i'm i've been doing x factor overseas for so many years so like i'm used to really looking it up but you haven't seen me here in a minute yeah so i was just showing up doing my thing having fun and i have such long hair naturally so i was like let's do some wigs so it can make it my hair shorter and let's just have fun so i'm gonna really turn up next season okay because now i see those camera angles they've been doing the back camera why didn't you tell me my ass is just hanging out like i could at least be cuter when i dance like there's a whole camera behind me the entire time i had no idea i had no idea hey um what's it like working with ken because he seems so ridiculous he is he always on the most ridiculous and
Starting point is 00:20:27 babe he's always on his hand he's one of my favorite humans i'm i just love ken i love his whole family um we just have such great chemistry yeah he's honestly like my my asian brother from another mother right you guys never did know each other right we did not know each other and i was overseas traveling like i always am and i literally started this the day before it started filming so i literally met them and shot the show holy shit i know robin through the industry obviously i'd never met jen jenny said i met her like back in the day or whatever like at the mtv house girl onto your rail honey so um i had never but i never worked with her and then ken i was like where have you been all my life mr chat what's his name uh what's his name mr the guy
Starting point is 00:21:23 from uh hangover mr oh in that leslie chong in the trunk yeah i don't remember it's too late everybody it's too late okay but he he was like i didn't even know like what to expect yes he's actually he's even funnier when the cameras are off and he's a really kind human and he's super smart he's actually like everyone knows that he's a doctor so he's just i i just adore a dork head You know what I kind of love about him? I'm just going to say for – we're in the middle of awards season right now and he's been nominated because of Crazy Rich Asians. So he was at the SAG Awards and he was at the Golden Globe and he brings his wife like to everything and she's like in a – she's a doctor by the way. Well, he should.
Starting point is 00:22:09 No, but then – Yeah, why wouldn't he? Well, no. Listen, they come together. A lot of times a star will bring their wife when they're not a famous person and then the wife will meet them inside and he'll walk the carpet alone. But he brings her up to, like, every interview they do together. That's sweet. And, like, you know, she's not, like, a famous person.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Like, I think it's really cute. He's so back to his wife. But he's, like, really grounded. He's real people. That's why I said I love Ken and I love his family because his family is always there. When we did New Year's Eve, his wife and his twin daughters were right there next to us, like, when we were doing the countdown. Okay. So each person at the table, if you had to put a mask on yourself, like Tori Spelling was like, I just love unicorns.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Shushu was the unicorn mask. if you had to like put a theme mask on you who would you what would you put you've probably been asked this a million times does it have to be an animal it could be any anything so our show is based off of the Asian phenomenon of a show in Korea
Starting point is 00:23:02 and Thailand so they would have people who are like just pillows a mattress a mattress a mattress I need to now look this up and see what the most ridiculous things are a mattress is amazing Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:16 I think you could just kind of lay down on yourself. I'd like to be a sushi roll. That's a nice one. That's actually, like, pretty fancy. That's actually the best baby Halloween costume. Oh, yes. With the little wasabi hat on top of her. Because I can just be, like, in a little bun.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Boom. Yeah. I used to do that for a while. I used to just look up little baby costumes. Little baby sushi rolls. What am I going to do? I would be that dog from The NeverEnding Story. Oh, that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:23:42 What's his name? Falkor. Falkor. Oh, my God. what a good one you just took me back with that one well you know
Starting point is 00:23:50 if it shows up next season we have a mole and her singing is impeccable I wish I was famous enough to get asked to be on that show
Starting point is 00:23:58 it is next season so right now currently you filming now no I mean like that would be good next season
Starting point is 00:24:06 okay Jack what would I be you would be like a day drink you'd be Jack Vanek in a bikini and everyone would be like
Starting point is 00:24:12 who is under the mask it's just me I'm drunk it's two or I'd be like a turkey sandwich oh my god extra mayo yeah jack like we'll go on business dinners and we're like everyone like let's get some dinner and jack will be like can i have a sandwich and then she puts potato chips in the sandwich oh you're the cutest salt and vinegar yes girl did it today i think i
Starting point is 00:24:32 would be either i would i used to say like the line if i had to choose one of them because i love like that represents great yeah but then i i would like for a while i've been saying a slice a pizza because i love food it's the first thing that i could think of but i should get a little bit more inventive like like you dolls i gotta figure out well we'll pitch you some ideas yeah just food like when i was growing up my mom and dad dressed up in weird costumes for um halloween not like that kind of weird but like so my mom my mom was um mcdonald's french fries that's great So she was the fry and then all the other fries. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:25:11 And then my dad was like King Dong. Do you know King Dong hostess? Yes. Oh, I love those. He was the King Dong hostess. Like the little cupcake with the white in the middle. Oh my God, that's amazing. Where did you grow up?
Starting point is 00:25:25 Kentucky. Okay. Maybe I'll be, I don't know. I love this. A dessert of some choice. Like a Pillsbury Doughboy. I think it would be so funny if next season on the show. What's in like Ghostbusters?
Starting point is 00:25:35 Yeah. Yes. or like the Kool-Aid man yeah so many good ones so good I think it would be so funny next season
Starting point is 00:25:42 if you're on the panel but then they also do cutaways and you're also in a costume but you don't yeah and everyone's like
Starting point is 00:25:48 who is it I'd love to do I'd love to mess with people because I've actually I can change my voice to a lot of different voices and do a lot of impressions
Starting point is 00:25:57 so I think it would be fun to mess with people we should we should do that I've never even thought about that till now that would be great such a good idea
Starting point is 00:26:03 that would be amazing and when you're fall Cora I'll know yes It's so good. I try you. Nicole.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I knew it. And everyone's like, no one cares your opinion. What if I was like a slinky? Let's think of the most random things. That's great. Honestly, slinky's great. You need to take inspiration from the Korean one. I'm sure they have so many.
Starting point is 00:26:23 What if you were Stretch Armstrong? Do you remember Stretch Armstrong, the toy? And you could stretch their arms like so far. And then you had backup dancers and you stretched. Okay, we need to move on. Okay. Because Nicole is here and she's on a hit television show, called The Masked Singer.
Starting point is 00:26:37 We have prepared a game for you. It is called De-Mask the Diva. Now, I will be playing the part of Nick Cannon and I will be the host. Now, I am going to give you a clue. Like they, okay, on the show, you know, they give, for people who haven't seen it, they give like throughout the different weeks
Starting point is 00:26:54 that they sing, there's also like little clues about like the line was like, oh my, I come from a famous family or blah, blah, blah. So I'm going to give you the clues and then I'm going to give you the, what they said, right? And then you're going to guess who it is. Like a quote? Yes. First, I'm going to give you the quote. I don't know how winning I am going to be at this. Neither. First, I'm going to give you the quote because that's the most exciting part. Then I'm going to give you a second clue and then you can guess. Oh, you girls
Starting point is 00:27:25 have to help me out. Okay. You ready? I'd rather smoke crack than eat cheese from a tin. What Gwyneth Paltrow. You're right. That was really good. Do you want to hear her quiz? I would never, ever imagine that that would come out of Gwyneth Paltrow's face. I don't know where you just got that. Because there was this huge press thing when she said she was quoted saying that.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I'd rather smoke crack than eat cheese from a tin. I've never seen a tin of cheese. Is she thinking of spam? I think she means like cheese whiz because it's in a tin. Like in an aluminum whatever. I feel bad for you, Gwyneth, because I'm all about the Cheez Whiz. I am into Cheez Whiz. Cheez Whiz nachos.
Starting point is 00:28:06 There's nothing wrong with a bit of Cheez Whiz. All right, if you're having a brewski. Gwyneth was not raised on brewskis and Cheez Whiz. She's not from Kentucky. I'll tell you that, Nicole. I'll tell you that right now. Okay. She'd rather smoke crack, guys.
Starting point is 00:28:20 In fact. No good deal. No good deal. Okay, next. See, I'm looking for a man that'll rub me slow and make me sing really high when he goes down low. Oh, a poet. A poet. Poetry.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Next clue. She has perfected the art of diva branding as she is usually seen being carried on stage. Mariah Carey. Hit notes no one else can. Correct. Just any time I think of someone being carried on stage, it's Mariah Carey. all you have to do is just google mariah doing the least and it's the first thing i've ever seen in my life it's so good and you know what she can do that because she's
Starting point is 00:29:06 mariah carey i'll be like that's right you mariah carey you can do that it doesn't matter you can do the least you can do the least because you which is like now i'm like you can't even give us an arm like so good they like lift her arm lift her leg it's my favorite thing to watch amazing and she just does it all with a beautiful smile she's so beautiful and she's like you can't say shit hair always on point and then she's like she's like bye okay i love maria me too next i'm an ocean because i'm really deep if you search deep enough you can find rare exotic treasures wow So that's more poetry for us guys.
Starting point is 00:29:52 I thought it was like a Kylie Jenner quote. Sounded very, I'm realizing things. I'm realizing things. Okay. Okay. Ready for your next. No one knows it. No.
Starting point is 00:30:02 This is the year of realizing things. Frank Ocean? No. No. He would never. Considered a pop icon, she got her start in the Mickey Mouse Club. Britney Spears? Alongside Justin and Britney.
Starting point is 00:30:15 She's won multiple Grammy awards. I can't believe she said that. What did she say? I'm an ocean because I'm really deep. If you search deep enough, you can find rare, exotic treasures. Is she talking about emotionally? No. She's not.
Starting point is 00:30:28 She's talking about her vagina. No, I don't know. She might have been smoking crack with Gwyneth. That's a really weird quote. I wonder what it was for. It's very weird. Yeah. Maybe we took it out of context.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Oh, shit. Oh, you're fine. It's okay. You're good. Well, the truth is that Alex was going through these and she was finding them and she was No, no, you're fine. Just let it. It's actually
Starting point is 00:30:45 It'll just sit here. This is a blanket. We're fine. We're lowbrow here. This is from Target. Yeah. I feel like you're saying it's absorbing and it's just sitting there. It's actually, that means there's so many chemicals on this blanket.
Starting point is 00:30:58 So a LaCroix spilled for everyone listening. Just flip the blanket over. No. Should we get to town? No, it's good. You're fine. We're almost done. Okay, here we go.
Starting point is 00:31:06 All right. There you go. That's perfect. It's still there. Still there. Look, babe. This is so weird. It's still there.
Starting point is 00:31:12 You guys are like, it'll absorb. And I was like, it's not absorbing. It looks like, it feels like it should. Guys, if you have kids that spill a lot, there's a Target blanket that literally won't absorb it. Yeah, we can put ketchup on this thing and wipe it right off. Back to the game. Okay, these pants are too mother-effing tight. Shit was given my pussy wedgie.
Starting point is 00:31:30 I hate having pussy wedgies. Yeah, that sounds like something Cardi B would say. You're right! You are! Honestly, I love her for saying that because sometimes my vagina falls asleep when my jeans are too tight. That's why I don't wear jeans. Like, I have such hardcore camel toe sometimes, and I'm like, what am I going to do about this? It's so hard.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Do I put, like, a maxi pad down there or something to help it out? You need the, what's it called? There is a little insert that you can put. Is it called the camel flow? The camel blocker? Can you look it up, please? There is an insert you can put in your underwear that helps you with camel toe. I like the name the camel flow for something, though.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Okay, we're going to steal that for somebody else in our business. The camel flow. Okay, anyway. Oh, I love that. She's so cute. I was so happy. What's it called? It's called the Coochie Camel Toe Pad.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Wow. You put it in. It's like basically a mask pad. Anyway. Glad you came to our show. So happy to have you. We're sending you home with the Coochie Camel Toe Pad. Like Ellen gives you underwear, we give you this.

Starting point is 00:35:47 And we're back. So for this part of the podcast, we have our listeners write in questions asking about like love or life or career and then we give them the best advice that we can give them oh gosh so it's like a dear and by best we mean questionable we've like said for girls to just drink a bottle of wine and figure it out so yeah you ready i'm ready question comes from alone forever oh alone forever says for me alone forever says i'm 21 and haven't had sex or even a heavy makeout i it used to not bother me but now i'm feeling like it's getting a little pathetic should i find any man with a pulse and give it up or wait for someone i'm really into wow you should wait i lost my virginity at 23
Starting point is 00:36:36 years old so yeah had you had heavy makeouts many oh too many oh okay why is she why would want to know what she's like because it's not like you said you lost your virginity at 23 um she's 21 she's never made out with anyone she's never kissed anyone or i think she's kissed somebody but no heavy makeout like there hasn't been any dry that's her favorite word it's actually dry On February, Nicole, we didn't tell you. Yeah. So happy to be here. Welcome.
Starting point is 00:37:09 I think what she should do, maybe drink a bottle of wine. You can give up your make-out virginity to somebody. Don't have sex with a guy, but go and make out with a bunch of guys. Do you maybe want to make out with your girlfriend? I mean, some of the late bloomers in my life actually ended up, you know, realizing that they were looking in the wrong place for that sexual spark. That's why I was wondering why it's taken so long.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Is she too nervous? She's not enough confidence or just maybe not attracted to... Maybe comes from like religious feeling like shame connected to it. Yeah. I mean, I think you should go for a make-out first and then add on to heavy make-out. Like start with a make-out.
Starting point is 00:37:53 A light make-out. Yeah. Either way, it's all going to be disappointing. So don't get too excited. Not that I'm encouraging drinking, but... she did. Sometimes we get in our heads and we get a little nervous. So a glass, a half a glass, a couple sips,
Starting point is 00:38:10 four glasses. You might, it kind of, it's liquid courage sometimes. Sometimes. So it just will get you out of your head and just in it. Just live in the moment. Be free. See where it goes. Heavy make-outs on.
Starting point is 00:38:25 Or it's just a make-out. Don't have sex with a stranger though. No. It'll be so bad. Not first. I mean, wait till later. Don't like run up the street. Yeah. Is she on the dating apps? I feel like everybody's on dating apps and a lot of people are really connecting with other people.
Starting point is 00:38:41 They're really having heavy makeouts. That is such a nice way of looking at dating apps. They're so terrible. Are they? Oh, my God. All my friends. All of my friends are getting married off of them. Really?
Starting point is 00:38:52 Yes. How hot are your friends? Are they like on a scale? They're friends with her. Yes, they're hot. See, that's why. Some of my family, like my cousin found his wife, like people who they really, my best friend found her like future husband.
Starting point is 00:39:05 They're engaged. Are they in LA or no? Yes. Really? What were you doing wrong? Everything. Maybe she's wrong. They're really finding people that they really connect with and like the sea of people.
Starting point is 00:39:18 They're finding their kinds, their matches. Nicole, the shape of your face is incredible. I know. I know. Your cheekbones are pretty. It's honestly. I think it's just this angle. this is my good side
Starting point is 00:39:28 you have my good side actually that's not true because I'm on your other side and I feel like that's a good side but this side is like I'm Beyonce on this side did you ever go through
Starting point is 00:39:36 like an awkward teenage I'm Diana Ross and Beyonce on this side babe the most awkward are you one of those really pretty girls
Starting point is 00:39:44 like I was so awkward I was like a nine and you had like glasses on and you were like you were in ladybugs from she's on stage I just looked oh I can't even explain
Starting point is 00:39:52 how I looked it's like my features all grew at different times yep And then I was really into brooches, buttoned up. Who wasn't? I don't know. And then I had this really long hair.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And then did you ever remember, like I had such like long horse hair growing up. And do you remember like when people would tease and they'd put an aquanet right here? You had that. But my hair was so long, so I'd tease it and it would just be like an aquanet. And then the brooch and the features all at different times. I love how it keeps coming back to the brooch. Have you posted any of those? Oh, never.
Starting point is 00:40:32 I was so embarrassed when my mom would have it up in the hall at the house. I'd be like, is this the picture? Is this the family photo that we're leaving out? Well, it's like fair because you look like this now. God's fair. Is this all your real hair too? Yeah. I've got a shit ton of hair.
Starting point is 00:40:50 She's like, I'm just gorgeous. I don't know what to do. You're like, I don't know. This is my good side. Sorry. well I have it's a lot of teasing there's a lot you could do
Starting point is 00:40:58 with some texturizing spray and back comb I love it I used to have so much more hair before they style it and everything
Starting point is 00:41:06 I could have taken it off when I was like growing up I had like a sheet of like horse hair now it's like brittle and fallen off
Starting point is 00:41:12 that's still so pretty it's so beautiful anyway sorry to interrupt everyone with a well since it's a podcast we do like to point out when our guests are extra pretty
Starting point is 00:41:21 as a viewer you can't see it right now honey You bet that chin on fire. Still is hot. On fire. It's on fire. Honey, that shit's chiseled like a mother.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Okay, what's next? Okay, question two. I moved away from my hometown to Orlando. After just two weeks, I met my future ex. All of his friends became my friends, but after a year and a half, he cheated on me because he was so insecure in the relationship. So here I am, single and with no friends because they all chose my ex's side. how do i get back out there both in terms of relationships and friends in the city where i don't know anyone i need to find my lady gang in orlando his friend his friend for sure that's not
Starting point is 00:42:05 gonna get her his world up you know what i mean you gotta wreak havoc and then you peace back at him i want her to he cheated on her we're getting back at him oh yeah um first of all step one okay Step one and step two is I think that if you, I think that you need your own friends for sure. And that if they all picked your, the guy, then they weren't your friends to begin with. So you should join the lady gang Facebook group and you'll instantly have like 25,000 best friends and it will be great. I like that.
Starting point is 00:42:40 Yeah. So she, she's in a new town. She moved. Good. Met the guy. Oh, they dated. cheated, broke up, but all of her friends from moving to the new town are with him.
Starting point is 00:42:50 Because I'm sure they were probably his friends. We don't care. We don't care about him. We don't care. That's the past. It's a new year. New you. It's a you year. So find stuff that... Yeah, so find some... I was at Clive Davis' party the other night, and I always say new year, new you, and
Starting point is 00:43:06 Miguel was there. You know Miguel, the artist, and he was like, it's you year. And I was like, I'm taking it. And it's mine now. That actually is good. And you can keep using that every year. But you should find what you're passionate about, what you're excited about, whatever, like, I don't know, find your own community. I don't know what that is. And go and find your kind and your people who are authentically going to, like, connect with you and lift you up and you can lift other people up, too.
Starting point is 00:43:35 I don't know what that is. You know what I mean? Like. Well, it'll be different for everybody. Exactly. And at the end of the day, it's like this is going to be the best thing that's happened to you because you don't want to have to rely on your significant other for like every facet of your life, especially friends. They're always going to take a side. Yeah, you just have to – don't give any more energy and power into that.
Starting point is 00:43:54 It's all new. This is like a blessing. Everything happens for a reason. My favorite saying, one of my favorite sayings this year is what will break you will make you. Write that down, Alex. Write that down. Is good. I wrote a song.
Starting point is 00:44:08 so good my first song that I wrote this year is called Warrior Heart so it's pretty cool it's gonna be a deep year what will break you will make you this is like yeah we're rising above this girl yes
Starting point is 00:44:23 take Nicole's advice not mine but f*** his friend maybe sleep with his friend and then rise above it and then And look at him when you bump into him at a bar and be like, what broke you? What is it?
Starting point is 00:44:42 What will break you will make you, bitch. And then throw your drink in his face. It's perfect. And then start making out with a stranger. Yes. In front of him. Just make out with a stranger in front of him. They're like, Becca's advice is very terrible.
Starting point is 00:44:56 She's like, I f***ed his friend and now I can't stop crying. Anyways, last question. Okay. I've been dating a woman four years my senior for nearly three months. I've known her for two years, and I've loved her since the moment I first laid eyes on her. She obviously has had more sexual experiences than me, and it makes me nervous. We've been taking this slow and have been discussing taking the next step in our physical relationship. The last thing I want is to have our first time be a total disaster.
Starting point is 00:45:25 Have you guys ever been nervous to have first-time sex with somebody that you really cared about? And how do I get over my nerves? How old is that? I don't know. It doesn't say. First of all, first-time sex with anyone is terrible. Bye. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Yeah. Unless he's a sex addict. Which Becca knows. It was great. Okay. There was never not a good time. We're really happy for Becca. It's always awkward.
Starting point is 00:45:50 The first time you see someone's bits is weird. Don't ever say bits. Bits? Wow. Don't they say over in London, the bits? Yeah. Like when they're talking about the bits in orange juice, like the pulp, but not like the bits.
Starting point is 00:46:04 No. They say you do bits. It's like to have sex. to have sex. Wait, I think Australians use bits for genitalia. Yeah, maybe Australians. I've never heard. It doesn't make it sound like it's like a lot of little balls to you. It's like a cluster
Starting point is 00:46:16 of balls. A cluster of balls. No, thank you. A handful of balls. Nicole, what do you think? Oh, wait. I've already forgot the question after the bit. He's dating a woman four years his senior. Or she's dating a woman. Oh, it's a woman. I mean, okay.
Starting point is 00:46:33 Same difference. She's dating a woman for four years. She's eating an older girl. Older girl has probably more sexual experience. One person's always going to have more sexual experience than the other person. And then they feel like they can teach you. I think don't rush into anything, you know, everything at the right time. Couple, not that I'm advocating drinking.
Starting point is 00:47:01 It's what I've also been thinking. For the second time in this three-part question series, I will tell you to drink. This is why you belong here. Because everything is easier if you have a few glasses of wine. Just pour a couple sips or something. Just a few bottles. A couple sips. A couple bottles.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Just a few. I don't know. It's hard because I don't know how old this person is. It's hard for me. I don't know if they're like 16 or if they're 20 or 25. Please be 16. It must be cool enough to have a 16-year-old. like the youth listen yeah i mean i think take take your time and i think if it's somebody that
Starting point is 00:47:39 you uh really care about to give your bits over to transfer the bits the pulp in your orange then you should um i think you should be close enough with them that you should kind of be there's also strength and courage and vulnerability sometimes so don't put up a front just be you and take your time with it and maybe talk to them about it
Starting point is 00:48:09 and don't overthink it and also music and a drink and maybe some molly or whatever just do whatever you need to do thank you so much for being here now wait you mentioned that you're working on new music is there gonna be a record this year yes yes are you stressed um i'm not stressed it's like i'm
Starting point is 00:48:36 always working on music people always like i am singing and i'm like i never stop yeah um i'm always working on new music it's hard because the music when you create it you love it they're your babies yeah so uh so it's just kind of scary kind of to release it out into the world as you get a protective um but i've got all types of music that i'm working on whether it's like more in the vein of what people are used to hearing me doing more pop urban stuff and really anthemic ballady stuff on the piano that i'm writing with songs like such a good voice for that yeah warrior song and um what will break you will make you stuff that's i really want to inspire and uplift other women because i know i needed that so that's why i needed to write those yeah um
Starting point is 00:49:22 would you ever reunite i yeah never say never okay i think um i think if we did it would be sooner than later i love that can i also reunite can we reunite and then add three is anybody gonna maybe not be able to make it why are you on stage with us again i'd be like because in my whole life i've known i was part of this group and it's time she looks great in leather chap she does listen that's an image that's a beautiful vision
