Hi, I'm Barbara aka your nursing educator on Instagram. I'm a registered nurse and I make
content that's all about helping nursing students thrive. One of the first and easiest things I tell
nursing students, if you haven't already done so, upgrade your scrubs to figs. Out with these stiff
boxy scrubs, in with the ridiculously comfy well-designed figs that were specifically designed
with us in mind. They're super soft, lightweight, and breathable with four-way stretch and moisture
wicking fabric that keeps up during long shifts pockets are exactly where you need them the fit
feels modern and tailored and they hold their shape wash after wash whether you're in class
at clinical or working the floor you deserve scrubs that work as hard as you do go to
wearfigs.com and use code figs ca for 15 off your first order that's wearfigs.com code figs ca
well what is this welcome to the lady gang that's amazing say that again the lady gang
things are about to change around here each week we catch up with hollywood's hottest girl posse
kelty knight becca tobin and jack vanik hello hello hello welcome to the lady gang i am becca
tobin here with jack and kelty you know we're matching last names oh sorry jack vanik and
Kelty Knight. I know you guys are matching. We are. Very left out. I bought a new Lady Gang
sweatshirt before I left for Canada because I wanted a crisp one. You bought it? Yeah, I bought
it. You did? That's so funny. Did you use it with the Lady Gang credit card? No, I think with my
own. It's all connected to my Shopify. Live your life. That's so nice. Thank you for your donation,
Becca. You're so welcome. I'm keeping the lights on. Hi. All right. Well, should we dive in? Yeah,
let's do it. Dive in. Diving in. It's time for Good Week. Yes, it is. Bad Week. Oh, no. How are
you? Who wants to go first? I'll go first because I don't want to forget because it just came to me
and I didn't have it on my list. So we recently put out an episode and my good week or my bad
week, I can't remember, was that I saw the bus. Do you remember that said mask required,
mascara required? And we were like giggle about it. And I was like, these sassy bus drivers with
their funny things. Oh yeah. I got a note in the Facebook group that mascara is masks in Spanish.
oh my i mean of all people to know that you haven't gotten to that in my spanish lessons
yet you should probably know that because it's of the times you know like learn the relevant
words for today yeah well now now it's making sense you know i mean it really is that is so
So Kelty and I love it. Yeah. You know what I mean? Idiot. Good for you. Um, what's your good
week? Good week. All right. So many weeks ago I began my compost journey. I think I talked about
on the podcast, I got a composter and then my dad wrote me and he was like, the raccoons are
going to come eat it and it's going to smell so bad. And then Chelsea was like, I have a composter
and honestly, if you do it right, like it doesn't smell and there's not crazy bugs or animals. And
I was like, I probably will do it wrong, but I'm going to try. I'm having so much success. I am a
master composter. I'm watching egg crates be part of the earth again in front of my eyes. I have a
little thing under my sink. I put all my vegetables and whatever. And then every time I add that,
I add a little bit of cardboard. I even added a recyclable plastic the other day or compostable
plastic to see what happens. I spin it, it gets heated up and I can, I'm starting to see my new
soils. Wow. Wow. I know this sounds stupid, but I was scared. I don't have a lot of yard on my
house. I have a nice house, but then there's just a little bit of yard around it. And I was like,
I don't know where I'm going to put this. Anyway, I'm really excited about composting. And that is
me in a nutshell. You're saving the world, Kelty. This is actually interesting. I wasn't going to
talk about this on the podcast because I felt like it made me sound like an asshole, but that's
never stopped me before. So actually my bad week has to do with composting. Okay. We live in a
building here in Vancouver where, you know, we checked in and there's like this whole folder of
like all the protocols, like here's the recycling bins are on this floor and here's this and here's
this. Well, they were like, we, we participate in composting here. Yeah. And I was like, okay,
well, that's cool, but I'm on the top floor, top-ish floor of a building where there's no
trash chute, there's no yard, there's no whatever. So I was like, what does this even mean? They
have this tiny little trash can in the kitchen for compostable items or whatever. And I'm like,
and they have a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. But there's a note on the sink that says
no grease and no food down the disposal. And I'm like, well, then why the fuck do you have a
disposal? Number one. What goes down there? Water?
Nothing. Water. The same thing that would go down a drain. So I'm like, okay, weird. But they're
like, it clogs up the drains below you, the floors below you. I'm like, then why is there a garbage
disposal anyway? So then I was like, well, maybe I don't have to compost. Maybe I can just throw
the food away in the garbage. But then there's something in the elevator being like, if we
find food in your garbage, you'll be fined or whatever. So I'm like, so you're not participating
in composting in this building. You're actually being forced to compost in this building.
I will say that Canada is no joke about their recycling, garbaging programs. Like in my hometown,
you have like four different, and so you have to sort your recyclables into like plastics.
But yeah, like, I mean, that's why it is ranked as like, I think the top three countries in the
world to live in. It's just takes a little bit more work. I'm proud of you, Becca. And you know
that you can't compost meat. She's forced to compost. I know that you can compost meat, Kelty,
but like I'm not, you cannot compost meat. What do you do with meat? Meat is garbage. But they
say if they find no food in the garbage, it's meats and fish are garbage. They can go in your
garbage. It's the foods like your coffee grounds, your leftover cereal, your vegetables, your onion
cuttings. Like that's compost. Okay. Well, anyway, this is not the Bill Nye, the science
guy podcast, but I can help you. I can help you. I mean, I'm proud of, I'm proud of Canada. I really
am. I mean, America could take like 8 million notes from how Canada does almost everything.
Yeah. Almost everything. Um, but they do have a lot of rules. This is annoying the academy. I
gotta be honest. Okay. Anyways. So my good week is that I don't have to travel for Thanksgiving
this year. I mean, don't get me wrong. I really love our families. I have to say that. However,
I am stoked. I, you know how I feel about the holidays. I know that there's always a lot of
complaining coming from Becca around the holidays. It's pretty much my most wonderful time of the
year. Peak complaining comes from me and the holidays. I am my father's daughter. We hate
a holiday. Um, but I realized that I'm going to be stuck in Canada the whole time and I don't
even have to do anything. Are you guys going to do Thanksgiving in Canada? Are you going to do
a Thanksgiving meal? Do you like a Thanksgiving meal? Well, I do. I like, I like doing something,
a little something. Um, so I have my, one of my best friends from New York is actually here
shooting another TV show with her boyfriend. So we're going to do a little American Thanksgiving,
even though she's also Canadian, but it's okay. The rest of us are American. I think it's fun.
Just don't forget to compost your extras. Okay, Jack. Oh my God. Okay. So, um, my good week is
that I learned something new about Jared, a little fun fact. He keeps a diary and I never,
Oh my God. I love Jared. You never knew? I know. He's like a diary. Well, I've been calling him
the diary guy and he hates it, but yeah, I just learned the other day. Maybe call it a journal.
i know well he calls it a journal but i call it a diary because he's the diary
13 year old girl with like yeah frank we're watching this um documentary this like true
crime documentary and it's like the best story of our time because both of the people involved
kept audio diaries and this was not that long ago like audio diaries were dear diary today i did
this and i was saying how weird it was and then he admitted to me that he is a diary guy like where
is it? Where's the diary? He won't tell me. Well, yeah. Cause you'd read it. And then when does he
write in it? He said, it's not like he's like a daily dear diary kind of a guy, but he's like,
when something important happens in my life, I'll like write a little entry. And he's like,
well, like we started dating and I'm like, that is so cute. And it's so Jared. Cause he's so
like sentimental and sensitive. So that was my good week. Um, I bet you, I just love that entry.
I bet you, he reads that entry at your wedding or something. Yeah. I was just thinking that I was
like, I'd be so romantic. He's so sweet. Okay. So my bad week. So we recorded, uh, our episode
with Olivia before this. And I, so I got a chemical peel on my face a couple of days ago.
So I'm like in full peel mode. And I didn't realize until the end of the episode that I
have been picking at my skin that's falling off of my face throughout the episode. And I don't
watching. And I don't know if anybody realized, but like by the fifth peel that I was like peeling
off of my forehead and then looking at it. Cause you know, you have to look at the, you have to
look at that. You can't not look. Yeah. So, um, apologies to Olivia. If, uh, you think that I
am disgusting. Oh my God. Well, everyone's disgusting. Everyone's disgusting in their
own way. Yeah, I know. I know. It's pretty on like with her glam. She's probably doing press
today for her line and and I was like oh she looked so good and I'm so beautiful and I'm like
I haven't washed my hair in a week I know all right hi I'm Barbara aka your nursing educator
on Instagram I'm a registered nurse and I make content that's all about helping nursing students

that's where figs.com code figs ca well we're excited to chat with her next
now back to the lady gang our guest today is so gorgeous she is the face that i ask dr diamond for
every single time i go to him but for some weird reason he can't seem to make me look this good a
former miss usa and miss universe who rose to fame with her beauty heal our sense of style and don't
even act like you didn't want to be her in the jealous music video but who cares about a stupid
music video when you're on the cover of freaking sports illustrated swimsuit edition baby boom
she's a restaurateur a cocktail company owner and after partnering with all the coolest brands
she's made it a family affair after teaming up with her sisters sophia and aurora for a new
collab with macy's in which she created a pair of leather shorts that i cannot wait to get my
hands on i already ordered them hello please welcome to the lady games olivia colpo hi guys
thanks for having me and i can't i have to send you those shorts i can't believe you ordered them
No, I ordered them. I could have called Hilda. So the small world is that the woman behind
Olivia's line was also behind the lady gang line. And she's like in this incredible
badass beast woman. And I could have written Hilda and been like, Hey, can you send me some
of the Olivia collection? But I wanted to support. I'm so proud of you. And I think the collection
is killer. And there's these leather shorts. I'm hoping they look as good as me as they do
on you on Instagram? I doubt it. They 100% will. I have absolutely no doubt. Yes, they will.
They are very flattering and your body is amazing. So you really, it's pretty much a given.
So this is cool. You've done collaborations. You had a line at Express as well. You've had
other collaborations and this time you brought your sisters in. And so how was it having to share
the, what I want and like the want list of the designs. Cause we had to do that when we did
ours. We were like, Jack wanted everything to be a crop top. And I'm like, no, thank you. So
how did you deal with that? Oh my gosh. That's a good point. I know. And also my sister was
eight months pregnant when we were really getting into the designs. So she was like, yeah, I will
never be able to fit one leg into this, but that's fine. But surprisingly we actually did not fight
too much about the design process. I think like, as we maybe do more together, we'll get a little
bit more confident in like tearing each other down, but we kind of didn't really know what was
going to stick. So we're very open-minded and like respectful of one another's opinions for this time
around. And it did make it more fun, but I mean, trust me, there was still a lot of drama. I mean,
just on a regular basis, we, we just want to like, kind of like, you know, throw each other
downstairs a little bit, but since we're all living together under one roof, but no, it was
actually pretty, pretty calm during the process. And also we all have a different style. We wanted
this to be a collection that would appeal to a bunch of different types of styles. So we really
had to embrace our differences. And I think because of that, we came up with stuff that will
hopefully be geared toward a ton of different types of styles. And so I guess watching your
career, like even through the Miss Universe days, I was always like, I don't know. And we've had
other people that had started as like pageant in the pageant world. And I was like, I don't know.
I think you guys are just lying and being sweet when you say you get along and like, you're not
pushing each other down the stairs. But I think it's because you grew up with sisters, right?
It's like, you're the ultimate girls girl because you've had sisters around you the whole time. So
then this can like work in your life. Oh my God. Yeah. I always say that. And it's funny. Like,
all of my closest friends have sisters, which I realized recently, I was like, that is pretty
weird. But yeah, I mean, I'm definitely, I, I am so used to sisterhood. I went to an all girls
school my whole life. I grew up with two sisters and we are very close. Um, I really don't know
any different. And I, and I, the camaraderie that you feel with, with your sisters who are also
kind of like your friends, I guess you could say your lady gang, that camaraderie is like,
I would never give that up for anything. And I don't, honestly, I have like no friends that are
guys. I like, I've never been like the guy's girl. I just like cling on to my girl's fun.
Like I'm, I'm still awkward around men. Like, I don't know why, but I'm definitely, yeah,
to the core girl's girl. And I, I wouldn't have it any other way.
So your sister's living with you right now with, and her children. I saw on Instagram,
How has this been? Because you've been like, I fly around the world here. I'm a fashion week here.
I'm in the Barbados shooting the swim cover. Like, and now you're like, cool. Now I have
toddlers running around and destroying my house. I know it's definitely different, but I think
for the most part, like when I look back on my life as a whole, I that's been my life. I grew
up in a huge family. Well, it felt huge, but I'm one of five. We're all within eight years of each
other, very close in age. It was always a full house. And I don't really know any different than
chaotic family dynamics. Like that's really what my whole life has been. I guess like my public
facing life has maybe displayed a different side of me, but that's all I know to be true. So I
guess it's kind of, people are just getting a little taste of that. And even when we came up
with this Cobos and INC collaboration with my sisters, I was excited to finally be a little
bit, like that is my real life. Like my real life is hanging out with my family and sitting around
and like making fun of each other and acting stupid. So like I get to do that for work a
little bit with this collaboration. So it's more fun. It doesn't feel like work. It actually just
feels like what I know to be true, which is exactly that, family. So when we had Jasmine
on Golden Barbie and it was right after the cover came out and we were like, how did you prepare for
the cover of that. And she was like, I drank tequila. And we're like, you're so full of shit.
And she's not lying. She's not. Okay. So I was like, you're so ridiculous. She's like, no,
I just wanted to like, I was like, okay, well, whatever. That's not what happens before I go
to the beach. But for you, what was your prep like? Like, did you do that? Okay. I'm going to
eat salads and work out extra hard. Like we expect. Yes. But actually, so I had been, that
was such a crazy travel time for me. I had not been home in probably a month. And then I figured
out I was going to leave for Bali about two weeks before the shoot. So I had, and I was traveling
when I found out. So finally I got home about a week before I was supposed to leave. I had to
really kick it into high gear. I had to, um, I was doing two a days. I was being super diligent
about what I was eating. I was so stressed out about it. Um, and then I got there and yeah,
jasmine was like eating frito like like whatever she likes like those like cheetos stuff like she
just yeah everything everybody is different though i really do believe that um for me it's more like
a mental thing like and i'm like that in everything in like life if i don't feel like i gave 110 and
like maybe even like hated a little bit of the process it's like i almost feel like i didn't i
don't deserve it which is kind of messed up but it's like my whole thing is like you gotta work
so hard and you've got to do the extra extra hard work that's the only way to be like the extra
extra best which is something I'm even trying to work on but yeah I was not the golden bar we like
tequila shots and and like trips I was like trying to be really good yeah too bad sorry I mean listen
if when we do our color we will do the tequila well the thing is you could have done the tequila
and the Fritos you just didn't but you could have I mean I don't know I I don't know I I try to push
the limits and I don't know. I don't know if you guys feel the same way, but sometimes I feel like
when I'm not trying, I feel better and like look better. I think it's mental. I think like there's
a weird brain body connection that we need to tap into because I feel that way. For sure. I feel
like when you're trying too hard, you could stress out and that does something to your adrenal glands
and then like your body slows down. I don't know. I've been doing a little bit of research and I
think it's true. I don't know. I agree. I totally agree. Speaking of high stress. Um,
Kris Jenner's your boss now. I know. Okay. Kris Jenner, if you're listening, like, do you want
to be my boss? Cause we're down. We don't have, we've been seeing all this stuff on,
I don't even know how to pronounce it. And I don't follow Demois, but people follow it. We follow it.
So we saw the blind. Is it still a blind item? I thought it was confirmed. Okay. So there's a
blind item out there that you're doing a show with your sisters and that Chris is going to be
your, the girls are laughing because I probably f***ed this up because they probably said there's
a rumor and I was like, I saw it confirmed, but I didn't. So there's this blind item. I saw it
last night on that same Instagram that you're doing a show maybe and that Kris Jenner is going
to produce. Yeah. Like Kris Jenner, are you listening? Do it. I'm into this idea. You're
available. I think it's great. I think you have a really interesting life that would also be a
good form of escapism for people on their couches, which is what we want in a reality
like kind of docu-series, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We, we would love to do something like
that. We are, I, we, you obviously have to think about what the takeaway would be because at the
end of the day, like, I do think we are very, we argue and it's dramatic, but we do like love each
other, but no, no, no, no. We, I mean like we, we get in fights every single day. Actually it
would be very entertaining but um we're not very like fat like glamorous fabulous you know like i
don't know i don't know if people really i don't know if that would like fly but it definitely
wouldn't be like i don't know it would be us on our pajamas like with our unicorn socks on like
probably yelling at each other everybody needs to see though yeah yeah yeah yeah okay keep us posted
okay so as a as a person in the public eye you know I think that people are very interested in
you not only what you're wearing but like your love life and all this stuff so how do you deal
with that I'm not even gonna ask you about him he's very cute but I just want to know like how
do you keep part of your life private and are you you know do you make a decision to keep these
things like okay this is how much I'll share and this is how much I won't I think that relationships
are so fragile and I think it depends on your partner too like Christian's very private and
I respect that and I actually almost prefer it my sisters and family on the other hand
aren't so like I can exploit them and I don't really feel that bad
so it's just different I think it's different for for everyone I um I I just kind of go with
what feels right and with what feels fun. Like with my family, we have so much fun being stupid
and like, we don't take ourselves too seriously. And we have so much fun, like kind of documenting
that. And then with Christian, it's just like, that's not fun for him. So it's fine, but he's
just private and I'm not. So I have to respect that. Well, I actually think that's the key to
success. I know Becca's going to say the same thing. We think we should have a normie. I mean,
he's not normie. He's like- Well, you don't want a guy that enjoys the Instagram camera on himself.
Absolutely. No. No. Yeah. I completely agree. And if I'm being honest, it's just,
I'm so superstitious about love and relationships in general. You just don't want to,
if it's working and it's private, I would try to keep it that way because you don't want the
opposite. And you see it all the time. It's just, I think the more eyes you have on your intimate
relationship, the more it can kind of become not fun and not real love. Whereas like, I think,
I guess with like my sisters, for example, like we don't really feel that pressure to be like
perfect, I guess. But when you have an intimate relationship, you do, because you want, you want
it to be, I don't know, it's just, it's a little more hard to be vulnerable, I think. And then
it's like the more that you're putting out there, the more people are going to want from you. And
then you're having a relationship for everybody else rather than yourself. So it's nice, especially
keep it all in. And I have a question for you. Like, do you feel this, um, overwhelming sense
that people want to see you fail because you are so beautiful and you seem to have
kind of everything, every single girl is striving for like on, like with obviously Instagram and
you know, there's, there's more to life than that. But I feel like when we're at the top of our game,
it's the hardest position. Sometimes it's great for your success, but you feel that
you feel people waiting to watch you fail. Do you feel that all the time? I can't even imagine what
it would be like to, to be you in that situation. Oh, well, first of all, you guys are all fabulous,
beautiful women. And if anybody wants to see you fail, they can talk to me.
I'm just kidding. But, um, no, I think it's just, well, first of all, if you, if someone else is,
we know this by now, but if someone else has dagger eyes on you, it says a lot more about
them than it does about you. You've just got to ignore it. But then also on top of that,
I do completely know what you mean, what it feels like to kind of feel like people want to see you
fail. But what I found in my own journey is a lot of that is projection. And a lot of that has a lot
more to do with my relationship with myself, because, um, I think sometimes good things can
happen to us and we just maybe don't feel like we deserve it. Or you just feel like, um, you're
going to fail because I don't know. I think it's just a tough thing. It's tough having a, it's
tough to have a good relationship with yourself. And it's, and like, I think that that's something
that I work at all the time, but more often than not, I would, I would think when I do have those
thoughts of like, this person doesn't like me. Or like, why would they like me? Or this isn't
going to go well. It's like, that's just me having to work on my relationship with myself.
Because at the end of the day, it shouldn't be about what strangers think of you. And as
cliche as that sounds. And also being so close with my family, I do think that I know that I'll
always have them to lean back on. And that's a huge saving grace for me. Because I would hate
to think that my happiness revolves around what the whole world thinks of me and and that's why
it doesn't because that's not that's not joy like that's just yeah that's that's how we're gonna
make a living but even like making money like that doesn't necessarily make you super happy too but
yeah having your money and your like career based on the way that other people like you or not is
just like that's that's a death sentence so I like to think of it a little bit in a little more of a
different way which is like okay I'm doing this because I like it and if it doesn't work out it's
not the most important thing to me because I know who I am and I know who really loves me. And I
know what the most important things in my life are. That was very sappy, but that's how I feel.
No, it makes sense. It really does. Well, and you can tell, I mean, we can tell even from
this short conversation with you that like you are very grounded with your family and it kind
of resonates in every, like in everything that you've talked about. So you can definitely tell
that there's like love and support. There were a lot of people in this world and in this industry
do not have that. Right. And so when I get my Coppola's ink leather shorts in the mail this
week and I put them on and I took a selfie and I don't look as good and I wish for your legs to
light on fire, then you'll understand that it's fine. It's a projection of me. Oh my God. No,
I'm telling you, they're going to look so good on you. I know. I need you to make the belt too.
I feel like the belt you posted is probably like Gucci or something. Is it so fancy? How do I-
It's Alessandra rich, but the belt that comes with it is, is really nice too. My sister is
eight weeks postpartum and wore them. And, um, she looked amazing. She looked great. So I think
they're going to look absolutely, absolutely amazing on you.
Godspeed old lady legs. All right. When we come back, Olivia is going to fix your life.
You're listening to the lady gang. Okay. Now we're back. So for this part of our podcast,
we have our listeners writing questions about life and love or career, all of the different
things. And then we try to give them some advice. So are you ready to give some advice and change
some lives? Oh, that was my dog. Oliver. We are. We're ready. I'm like, wow, you're so excited.
She screamed. Okay. First question comes from Lady Anonymous. She says my boyfriend and I have
been together for three and a half years. I'm absolutely in love with him. And I feel like he
is the one. Even though we live together in LA, I don't know how much longer I can live here.
The one big problem is that he doesn't want to move at all because all of his family and friends
are here while all of my family is down South. I can't imagine having babies without my mom and
my best friends being nearby. Do I pressure my boyfriend to move or do I go on my own and try
long distance knowing that things could end? Oh my gosh. Well, it's a perfect question for you.
I know. I know. This is a really tough one. It really does depend on what will make her life
happier. Because at the end of the day, I always think about this, we're all going to be in the
ground someday by ourselves. When we go, you're not taking anyone with you. I know that's intense,
but I've been through so many relationships and I've been through so much soul searching because
of the damage of those unsuccessful relationships. So at the end of the day, you have to do what's
best for you. And, um, you don't want to wake up someday and like, God forbid that relationship
doesn't work out. And you decided to turn your life upside down to please that person. Cause
I've done it before and it was, it's a terrible decision. So at the end of the day, think of what
makes you, what works best for you. And if it is a situation where you can actually just have
your family moved to LA, then you should stay there. But if it is a situation where you're
going to be miserable, like I really do think sometimes you have to put yourself first,
but that's me being like such an independent, like maybe jaded woman.
No, it's not even putting herself first though. If she wants to be by her family, like that's
exactly. And also you got to think down the line because my best friend, um, we're from
one city in Canada and she went across the country in Canada to like be with this guy
and went to his city and they fell in love and they got married there and they had their kids
there. And then when they divorced the rules, you can't bring the kids across provincial lines.
And so she's literally stuck in Winnipeg, Canada, where his family is for the rest of intro. Her
kids are 18. Like she can't move back to Edmonton and be around her family with those kids. So
there's like, there's more in planning a life. So I do think your advice is perfect. Like you
got to figure out where, where you're going to be the happiest. And I mean, Becca did that,
you know, like you're, well, I also had that situation with my ex where we started dating
and I was going to move to where he was. I could, my family's here. I see my parents twice a week.
I could never move away from my parents. So that relationship crashed and burned for other reasons.
But then my next relationship that I went in, that was also long distance. That was the first
thing that I said, I'm like, I am not moving to Phoenix, Arizona. Like if we're staying together,
you're moving to LA. So if now he lives in LA and now he lives in LA, but it's like, if this girl,
if this doesn't work out with this guy, it's like, that's a conversation that you need to
really think about if you're having a relationship where your families are different places. Like if
that's important to you. Yeah, exactly. Cause you just never know. You just don't want to have any
regrets. The worst, the worst. Okay. Next question comes from anonymous. My sister and I are six
years apart and we've never been able to get along. In my eyes, she's too judgmental and acts
more like a bully than my sister. I've tried talking to her about it and I've had multiple
conversations with my mom, but she more or less always tells me to quote, be the bigger person
and rise above. However, I'm almost 30 and I don't think I'm willing to put up with it anymore.
What can I do to keep my mom happy, but also stop taking my sister's abuse?
I think the most important thing when somebody is hurting your feelings is to have empathy,
like really think about why that person is being mean. And I would venture to guess that this
person, her sister is jealous. Maybe she has something that, that her other sister wants,
or maybe she's more successful or whatever. I mean, like, I, I just feel like that could be
the circumstance with this. I could be completely wrong, or maybe this sister has like serious
issues, but it sounds like it's more of a, it's more of a, her issue as opposed to, um,
Ms. Anonymous' issue. She has to have empathy for whatever pain and suffering her sister is
going through because hurt people hurt people. And as soon as you think of something like that
in terms of the other person suffering, who's being mean to you as a person who's suffering,
suddenly it's easier for you to feel sorry for them instead of feel hurt by them.
take us to church Olivia there you go god her people her people no and I also think you can
you can have some boundaries you know um I've kind of talked about this but my brother was
like a lot growing up and I really didn't talk to him for 10 years you know because it was like I
had to put up this boundary where I was like I you need to get yourself right and figure yourself
out and then I can like let you into my life and it feels weird those boundaries when it's family
but if you would do it with a friendship or in a relationship then you can also do it with family
and sometimes just like because you're family you feel like oh I have to keep this person in my life
and that's not true like if if they're not you know if they're making your life hell like you
can take a beat from them you know yeah totally yeah I think sometimes that can even be in their
best interest too if there's any sort of like like you know if they someone needs to work on
themselves and you're getting in the way of that it's the right thing to do to kind of take a step
back. Even if it's family. Yep. All right. Our last question comes from Emma. She says I'm a
super loyal friend and literally would never hurt any of my friends, but I've been in love with one
of their crushes for a while. I've been hiding it because I don't want to hurt her, but I don't know
what to do. I can't hide my feelings any more. When you start a question, I'm a super loyal
friend and would literally never hurt my friends, but you know that you're in love with their
boyfriend yeah yeah oh my god but oh my gosh I feel like with this person she has to decide like
okay if we're all supposed to be like centered in like in love and understanding then first of all
first and foremost she should just tell her friend how she feels because I think it's just
not helping either person by holding it in clearly um and then take it from there like
what if the friend says, you know what? I care about you more and I can see this for you. Go
ahead. You know, like you just don't want to live your life. It's not, don't act on it obviously
because that would be catastrophic and so painful to your friend, but just tell her how you be
honest. I think that that's the right thing to do. And also if it's a crush, like there's a lot of
things I'd like to know. Like, is it a casual crush or is it somebody this other girl's been
in love with for years? Because you're also not allowed to call dibs on every crush that you have
in your entire life. Absolutely. Yeah. Or if it's like her ex-boyfriend of a week ago, like,
no, honey, you got to wait. It's not happening. I have two girlfriends who one of them dated this
guy for a very long time. And it was like one of the great loves of her life. And they didn't end
up together, but like, it's just that person she would always think about and feel weird when she
saw him and whatever. But then her best friend, since it had been several years since they had
broken up, started to like, you know, go after this guy and he was receptive to it because he's
a guy. Yeah, exactly. That is like the girl code there is very, it's very clear. Like if it's this
girl's like one guy. No, you can't do that. No, you get one though. You get one. And the rest of
them, like I've dated everybody in LA. My friends can go and date all of the douchebags that I've
date it. It won't go well for them either, but go ahead. Like you can only really call dibs on
people that have like broken your heart. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's against girl code. No, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no. Wow. Speaking of girl code, cute head on over, um, follow Olivia and
her sisters and their new line at Copos X Inc. Um, it's also available through, through their
Instagram is the easiest way to shop it, but it's available at Macy's right now. It's so cute. And
I know you're already following Olivia because you're like basically like basing your outfits
on what she wears, but if you're not, you can follow her at Olivia Colpo. And we're so excited
for you. We're so excited for your line. We're so excited for all of your things. And also I'm so
excited for when the news finally comes out. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I just had to say
if it Chris Jenner are you listening also when we had our show on e we literally wrote probably 17
like impassioned essays to Chris Jenner to try to get her on so yeah she never doesn't do anything
she doesn't want to do yeah we were like you have to have her on and then you know she's just like
no I'm busy making billions of dollars okay cool also the other thing that that people may be
shocked about if they're just discovering if they've known about you and they're discovering
the whole sister gang. Um, they all look like that. So be prepared to feel like a garbage human.
It's like, Oh my God, something magical happened when your parents made babies.
