Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, it's your Lady Gang, Jack Vanek, Kelty Knight, and Becca Tobin. Thank you so much for subscribing on iTunes, and thanks for supporting the great sponsors who make it possible for us to have this much fun with you every single week for free. Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Things are about to change around here. Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to The Lady Gang. I am Becca Tobin. Across from me is Kelty Knight. To my right, it's Jack Fannick. Hey, guys.
Starting point is 00:00:37 Hi. Oh, wow. Hi. How are you? I'm okay. I have the worst cramps in the world. Yeah, Jack, you're really going through it. I'm done.
Starting point is 00:00:46 Actually, you know what? I'm so impressed that you even came to tape the show. Are you kidding? Cramps are not an excuse to miss something. My cramps are debilitating. Like, I have to open a ball. I've had a, like, I can't believe it. Do you have a heat?
Starting point is 00:00:59 Do you want, oh my gosh, I have some hand warmers. Do you want to put them on so it's like a heating pad? I kind of do. Yeah, I will. Okay, when we take a break. In a second, yeah. Do you take Advil or ibuprofen? I take Aleve.
Starting point is 00:01:08 I have the weed suppository things. Up her butt right now. And up my butt. And then I have that Livia thing that does the vibrating things. I talked about it. Oh, right, right, right. That'll be good. Now that we got an update on Jack's vagina.
Starting point is 00:01:22 All right. Well, how about we just ask her a question of what's your favorite cramp remedy? Remedy. Yep. Can't speak today. Hot bath. I think as soon as you know the period's coming, like you can kind of tell, start taking the ibuprofen before you get the cramps.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Because once you take it after the cramps, you're screwed. It's done. My mom always says that. She's like, you feel it coming on? You better be taking Advil or leave every hour. I feel like I have sympathy cramps right now. I know. The other thing I do is the BioFreeze.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Do you have BioFreeze? What's that? I used it on my body when I was dancing. It's like Icy Up. It's really good. And you get at Whole Foods. And I BioFreeze my whole... I get the lower back cramps and then also the body cramps.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Ovary ones. Yep. That Livia thing that I bought, like, really helps. And I don't know if it's, like, a placebo thing or not. What does it do? I talked about it on the podcast one time. It, like, has those sticky things. And then it, like, does, like, little mini muscle spasms on your ovaries.
Starting point is 00:02:13 So you, like, and it blocks off the pain to your brain or something like that. Right. I don't know. I think it works, but who knows. Nice. All right. Well, we know what your bad week is. Oh, my.
Starting point is 00:02:21 She doesn't have cramps. I don't really get cramps. Oh. But I feel like I'm getting them now. I'm wearing a Jordan Conolano jean jacket right now. Who's Jordan Conolano? Jared Leto from My So-Called Life. I never watched My So-Called Life.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Oh, my God. I loved him. He always wore that exact jacket. Except with like a bigger collar. Yeah. Yeah, with a bigger collar. He was so hot. He was so hot.
Starting point is 00:02:39 He lives on my street. Cool. It's my claim to fame. I've been stealing that jacket from his house. His like weird compound. Yes. Yeah, I've been there. All right.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Well, now it's time for... Good week. Yes, it is. Bad week. Oh, no. Who wants to start? I'll start. okay my good week is i have i love with jack how you always do like look at my complete sentence
Starting point is 00:03:02 no my good week good week well because in the no it's time for me to give you my good week because in the beginning of the podcast because we got mad at her because she wouldn't specify i wouldn't begin yes my best student i also always start off with good week anyways so i have a word and it's salt mate and is this is this inspired by past the salt or salt bay no it's not salt love salt bay it's past the salt more so salt mate a salt mate is when you and another person have an unbreakable bond by being salty about the same things we are definitely salt mates yeah that's basically all our podcast is we need to rename our podcast the salt mate gang yes no no doesn't have a ring to it not that good all right but it's all right
Starting point is 00:03:55 i'm like still thinking about it and let me sit with it let it sit maybe i'll use it sometimes i surprise myself when we leave here after you're like roll the tape yes i've used roll the tape but if it like comes full circle like sometime by the end of the podcast past assault is iconic you guys you know what's really caught on is find yourself a greg i know Wait, I found myself a Greg. Did you see? Well, not really. I matched with a Greg on Bumble.
Starting point is 00:04:20 You did? Yeah. And it was like right when I was talking to my friend. That's weird. She was asking me about the Greg thing. And I was like, oh, it's this guy's girlfriend, blah, blah, blah. And then I got a message. And it was like, message from Greg.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I'm like, found one. We found a Greg. I never said, wanted to say this before. But I don't know why I never brought this up. But I got an email from Greg again on her birthday, which we like, remember? The birthday was like a week later and we were before. and he was like do you think you could do that shout out and i was like greg are you listening to the podcast and then he went back he's like oh we listened sorry thank you and i was like
Starting point is 00:04:53 don't ask me did he greg for a shout out and not not be like a og listener that listens like at 7 a.m on tuesday when the new episode comes out wait what did he email after the episode came out like a week after oh greg greg you're on probation greg you got a point taken away you're not the best man in the entire world no but for people who don't know what we're talking about we refer to a quality man as a greg yeah and apparently another name for a penis is also a greg so it's perfect get yourself a greg get yourself a good greg yeah okay do you have a bad week we really went on a tan sorry that's all right um yes okay so my bad week i went on a first date the other day and i was running late and so i like called myself an uber and i hadn't
Starting point is 00:05:40 like finished all of my finishing touches yet okay so call myself an uber it's dark outside i get in i like put on my um perfume and i like put on my um oh my god i'm like brain dead brain dead today i was putting on my lip gloss i'm like okay ready to go go into the date we're sitting and like talking for like a half an hour like it was fine good conversation whatever i go to the bathroom and i look in the mirror and i put concealer on my lips instead of lipstick and my lips were white no yep and the guy didn't say anything because he was so nice and like something yeah i'm like did you why didn't you say i had like white lipstick on he's like oh i thought it was just like a you know it's like wintry and i thought it was like some kind of like holiday thing
Starting point is 00:06:26 oh my god my i like him but there's another thing just of me putting the wrong stuff on my Always do. Because you're blind. It is because I'm blind and I just never wear my glasses. But you'd be really a terrible blind person because, like, you don't even notice smells. You don't notice textures. Like, you really are unaware of everything. I don't notice when something tingles on my lips.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Maybe if you were actually blind, then your other senses would improve, like, taste. That's the problem. But I feel like your other senses are also terrible. That's because I'm not actually blind. I need to be blind blind for me to smell better. Now it's just all my senses are just dull. all right fine dull dull and sad okay kelty do you want to go sure okay good week elena and i have been doing lots of work are you gonna yell at us for not working as hard as you know no
Starting point is 00:07:14 and we've been printing a lot of things what and the other day on the printer you know the printer yeah i know but like okay so this old old thing from back in the day it's called a printer sometimes we have to use it's like a floppy disk it's a floppy you're an idiot go anyway so all of a sudden we're like sitting in my office and we're working away and the printer just starts like shooting out paper i don't know for no reason and we're like this is so weird it was probably like 25 30 sheets and on each page of paper at the very top there was one smiley face and two hearts and that's it i didn't type it we didn't type it it wasn't a document we made it was just randomly started up and shot us out like 20 pieces of paper that had two hearts and a
Starting point is 00:08:01 smiley face. Do you think it's like an alien trying to communicate with you? I think it's my printer trying to be like, don't worry, it's okay, I hear everything and you're doing great. And I love you. I wish that they had different things on it. Like, I wish like one came out with like, like it was like a code, like the Zodiac you gotta like figure out.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Oh, no. No. Sorry. Okay, well. High expectations, Jack Vanek. Sorry. Bad week. Like I officially had to do the Hollywood thing and tape myself into a dress.
Starting point is 00:08:28 So normally I've always been like, I'm just going to suck down and eat right. And then I can fit in the tiny dresses. This time I couldn't fit in the tiny dress. And I was like, I don't know what to do. I'm supposed to wear this dress. So I double spank. It wasn't enough. So I'm like, I got to tape.
Starting point is 00:08:43 It's not going to happen. So I'm like, well, what kind of tape do I use? I've heard of all this tape. Is it surgical tape? All I had was masking tape and duct tape. And I went for masking. Aren't you supposed to duct tape? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Well, I have no idea. So I taped my entire gut in, like, really tight so that, like, it basically went from, like, poofy out, like, gut to, like, really flat gut. And it worked. I looked amazing. It really did work. I feel like you end up seeing the, like, tape. No, and then I did a double spank on top.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Oh. So anyway, long story short. So aggressive. No, this is the bad week. You're going to get a yeast infection in your belly button. Well, I know. No. Then I went home that night, and I had thought about, like, how do you get the tape off after, and I didn't think masking tape would be that sticky, and I ripped off – I'll now show you it.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Your skin. I ripped off – it's healing, but I ripped off a whole bunch of my skin trying to get the tape off, and then I realized I could go in the shower and get it really wet and soaky, and it wouldn't be as bad. anyway what about your hair like on your stomach um it doesn't also yeah it was like a self-wax slash torture device but i looked great in the photos and that's all that matters so it was a bad week that also had you know you could also do those photos just facetune them a little bit if you have a little but here's the thing jack when you're walking a red carpet in hollywood like i am i can't facetune what i put out there on the internet because getting images This wants the worst picture possible.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Becca? This is actually part of my good week, bad week. I follow someone on Instagram. I won't say who it is. I know. I bet I know exactly what you're going to say. I'm not going to say it, but. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:28 This is, let this be a lesson to you. All of you girls out there who scroll through Instagram late at night and think, I want to kill myself because I'm not as skinny. I'm not as pretty. I'm not as perfect as these humans that we all follow. this is like the third time this has happened with a different girl i follow this girl i had never met her in person i met her in person like what she puts on the internet is a nine what she is in person is a four that's terrifying and this isn't even me being bitchy this is me
Starting point is 00:11:02 being like you poor thing you have literally created a whole different human that lives on the internet so when people meet you in person you almost gasp and you actually think is this the girl or is it her ugly sister is it like is she doing like she's doing so much facetune and she's doing so much just like editing of photos in general that her like like there's people who can edit a photo and make you look like a supermodel right you know like callie callie is amazing like the girl who does our social media she doesn't do it to us but like she can take a photo that looks like it's a shitty iphone photo and turn it into a beautiful perfectly colored perfectly contoured whatever but like these girls are doing that with every
Starting point is 00:11:48 single and they're not using any other filter on insta story other than the pretty filter like the snapchat one the snapchat one the goddess filter goddess filter and so i'm not kidding you i was like oh my god there should be a public service announcement where all these girls that we follow on instagram have to show up and actually look like themselves so that other girls start realizing that it's not actually realistic or attainable it's insane it actually like occasionally i'll do something like fix a blemish or if my arm looks fat i'll do that but now i think i'm just gonna not do anything at all because it feels like such a disgusting thing to do because you can get very carried away yeah you don't realize everybody else
Starting point is 00:12:30 is doing it well and girls like want to really like girls get i get bummed out sometimes i had to start stop following like every bikini girl i thought oh i made a new rule on instagram if it makes me feel bad just unfollow it doesn't matter what for i know see and i follow like all these stupid influencers for because it's like my business for work and i'm like what because then i'll do i'll be doing that like at midnight when i'm trying to go to bed and i'm like why is She's so perfect and beautiful. Yeah. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Do you have a good week? Yeah. My good week is that. It doesn't sound that good. It is good. Sounds like pretty mediocre. If you get pissed off at someone. My moderate week.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Get ready for this. Have you heard of Cat Facts? No. You can sign someone up anonymously, their cell phone number, to a website called Send Cat Facts. Every day they get a fact about cats and they cannot unsubscribe. That's amazing. If you hate somebody, you can send them it automatically and anonymously sign your friends
Starting point is 00:13:28 up to receive massive amounts of cat facts. That's so great. That's nobody wants a cat fact. No, nobody. Wait, should we have a sign up of like lady gang lingo and like every day we just like annoy you with like our stories? I think we already do that. It's called our podcast.
Starting point is 00:13:44 It's called everything we do. Well, anyway. What's coming up? This is my fight song. Oh, God. Take back my life song. Sorry, Rachel. Let's get somebody better to sing that for us.
Starting point is 00:13:57 The girl who can actually sing that song is coming up. Okay, what's going on? Now, here's the lady gang. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, our guest today has one of the best. Work your ass off for a decade to become an overnight sensation stories ever. She taught us we only have one match, but we can make an explosion. With her hit song, Fight Song, it hit number six on the charts here in the USA and top tens around the entire world.
Starting point is 00:14:22 She's an Emmy Award winner for her performance of that song on Good Morning America. She's got a super cute husband, and her new record, Waves, came out this summer. And if her single, Broken Glass, is not on every single one of your playlists, then what are you doing? She's hot. She's got great style. And she toured with My Bestie and former Lady Gang guest Christina Perri, which is where we met and fell in love. And she's also wearing a hat that at one time Becca and Jack made fun of me for, but yet they told her she looked cute. Please welcome to the Lady Gang, Rachel Clatton.
Starting point is 00:14:51 let me just give a disclaimer okay your hat was not this cute i know her hat's like kind of like some sort of like a naval bassy vibe like she's wearing a very cute yeah you look like a little fighter pilot kelty looked like she was doing the musical oliver i do want to talk about this because i have gone like i listen i've been following you and knowing you but i went down like a google whole of you before this because i need to have to go down and like you've had a glow up with the fashion because you hired like you always had good style but then when you get the
Starting point is 00:15:24 let's not go there. No when you open the doors to every house of fashion you get dressed in the best clothes now. It's kind of amazing I don't know I mean okay Did someone style you for this or you put this together? I put this together but I had these in my closet from my stylist
Starting point is 00:15:39 so I had like a bunch of things. Like stylist approved items. Exactly and yes I've learned a lot i didn't really understand before all of this happened how fashion could also speak volumes about who you are yeah and i it's a game i ignored it i was i really kind of rejected it all i was just like hippie super broke in new york like i wasn't concentrating on that shit yeah so did i and now i have a podcast and we're wearing sweats so i didn't learn the lesson i didn't you could have i wish i should have told you i would have worn a onesie oh yeah i know you should have i
Starting point is 00:16:14 You should start sending out that mail now. We look like garbage. No, you don't. We're garbage people. We are garbage people. Oh, my God. I do want to say I really do really love this new record. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I feel like it's very cohesive. Like it is altogether one piece of you. I think that's why people make records like that. No, but a lot of records, especially in someone in her case, it's had this massive, massive hit. Sometimes when you put out that next record, I know it's not your sophomore record, But what happens is, like, there's three songs the label picked because those are the radio songs. And then there's the three songs your diehard fans will like. And it doesn't feel like all one thing.
Starting point is 00:16:51 It feels like it's, like, one big delicious thing. Thank you so, so much. Is it hard? That means a lot to me. The follow-up after massive overnight sensation-ness is hard. You know, I am right at this place right now where I'm just going to go deep with you guys. That's where we go. Okay.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Can you tell? Okay. With the fluff and the beautiful piss and the glow light. says like deep like pink a cup like oh my god what is this sour candies these cups are incredible sorry it's silicone i'm so easily distracted shiny thing shiny things squirrel you know i'm at this place where i am really proud of what i did but i'm also kind of at this place of peace and acceptance and kind of like i am learning to not look around me for outside approval and to feel it inside and so hearing that is really amazing but I have kind of relaxed my
Starting point is 00:17:46 need of like people telling me what I did was was valid because I know like I've listened to whatever you think is up there I listen to Sora Scott and I channeled the songs and they was what I was supposed to write and I'm really proud of that I didn't get in the way of them I love the record um and whatever it's going to do in the world I've kind of like released it and said cool Go do what you're supposed to do. And I'm just kind of relaxed right now. But it's got to be cool to be like the girl people called. Like, come perform on this.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Come do this. Well, I don't know if I am that girl. Like, you're on people's lists. I don't. See, I have such a hard time with this because I don't really feel like I am that person. I don't know. I mean, when I'm on carpets, I see you on carpets a lot. And it's always like, so.
Starting point is 00:18:33 I'm just letting you know. I saw you at the American Music Awards and they don't actually let everyone come to that. So, like, you have to, like, actually be doing something to, like, get invited to that. That's true. Jack and I were not there. Yeah, I definitely was not invited. And, like, I wasn't there as a guest. I was there as press, okay?
Starting point is 00:18:46 But I still walked that carpet and had my moment. You sure did. So, Kelsey sure pretended she was a guest. Yeah, I was like, wait, tell me about the rocks of carpet, guys. She loves. I know. She always looks super hot on carpet. She's always, like, the most fun person.
Starting point is 00:18:57 And whenever, those things are brutal. They're, like, brutal. You're, like, super uncomfortable. You're really hungry. You're, like, probably a little drunk. because if you're me you're like i'm nervous and i'm gonna freak out i've been over tequila shot i haven't eaten in two days and i'm like to fit into this dress yeah in this dress and then you're like worried that your boobs your non-boobs are gonna pop out it's all not the greatest and then
Starting point is 00:19:17 you see kelty and she's just so cute and she's looks at you with love and she's real and you give a hug and i'm like your boobs look great girl and you're like my miracle of god they're standing up with this tape that i've taped all over my tits my husband's like what the hell is happening to your tits and then he saw the dress and he's like oh that looks good he's not in the industry as you guys know what i'm talking about oh yeah oh yeah yes it's incredible girls if you're listening home you don't know what we're talking about i'm doing it right now yeah i don't have boobs so you have to do is you have to lift each boob up i hope no guys are listening it's horrible they don't you lift each okay you have to lift a tip a tit up lift a tit you take your
Starting point is 00:19:54 medical tape and you you start taping from below the boob and then you tape it all the way up and it looks like an incredible 22 year old boob yeah no that's the j-low it's the j-low i didn't know about it until oh red carpets welcome i love it um what has been the biggest change since becoming a famous i am not a famous you're definitely a famous i love that i'm not no you're famous okay all right i reject that but thank you um i had a card that was printed specifically for you that's true that had the et that was like the if we get katie perry ask her this if we get that's cool nick jonas ask this if we get rachel platten ask this okay that's cool so you know you're a famous okay i'm a famous and what what did you say what was your question i got confused what's been the
Starting point is 00:20:41 biggest change oh man like be real okay i'm gonna be like the free stuff no i'm gonna be real like getting recognized in airports i want both okay the best and the worst yeah the best is um the lifestyle is pretty awesome like i hope i don't sound like an asshole but the free stuff when you don't need free stuff anymore is wonderful yeah isn't it confusing though it's very confusing i have more product than i can ever need and i used up to steal my roommates and like it's incredible so that's pretty dope um the clothes getting to wear beautiful dresses like you know i was saying on miss universe two nights ago i wore a freaking ball gown I felt like Cinderella.
Starting point is 00:21:24 It was amazing. So that's all really special. Yeah. Getting to make a difference in people's lives from being like deep, that's pretty incredible. The things I get to hear from people about what my songs have done, how they feel at concerts, how they feel listening to my songs. That's just – that's amazing. What's the worst stuff? is the thing that you get into this chasing approval fame thing that it's never enough
Starting point is 00:21:50 until you learn to just shut it off and it's really hard to shut it off i just got so distracted by your great tattoo oh thanks wow thank you so subtle and delicate okay sorry i can give you one while we sit here wow prison style no but it's hard because you're like if i could just yeah i never have a hit and then after you have a hit you're like if i get two hits okay good i had to it so now can i have a grammy um nope didn't get a grammy so well let's let's change that can i have this and it's just like it's just never enough and it's a dangerous spiral because you have to you have to find that self-love right and fame tells you that you need it from outside so it's tough yep also it's like you get so used to like having all those accolades be your identity
Starting point is 00:22:35 too like you can't find that within yourself percent yeah i was in a dangerous place yeah like needing it too much from where before i didn't need it at all i didn't it wasn't why i was chasing music it wasn't why i was doing this and then i got it all and i was like well this feels pretty good yeah attention feels pretty good yeah chart success is pretty cool i want more of it and i kind of lost the purpose of why i was doing it if i'm being really honest did you have a breakthrough moment where you realized you really recently really yeah like what brought you brought you back down really recently ah this is the part where i sound like a major hippie and people are like we're kind of hippie are you okay we're like shallow hippies okay i think jack uses like pot
Starting point is 00:23:17 vagina insert yeah that's the kind of hippie i live in a canyon and i have when uh what are those things dream catchers what's pot vagina insert it's a suppository for cramps it's for cramps yeah stop it it's like a cbd like all in holy crap that sounds amazing it is the best i drink cbd i take cbd it's great yeah good stuff all about the weeds well okay so you hit your moment so i hit my moment um i don't know what week what was i saying the moment where you okay yes three weeks ago i went to the sound healing oh this is really recent super recent guys because my record came out a month ago my single came out in the summer my record came out october 27th and it didn't really do anything it like hasn't sold a million copies it's not like
Starting point is 00:24:04 on the top of people's go listen list it didn't really get reviewed it was really confusing to me i was i was like really heartbroken and like i'm being so real with you guys right now just because your faces are so cute but i'm gonna regret this but i love this music and i and i was so excited for it and i was so proud of it and when my last record came out i was like the top five on billboard and it sold 80,000 copies the first week and it was a big deal and this one didn't do that and i didn't understand why and i really cried a lot and i had like a lot of like fear moments yeah god this is horrible and and then i had to explore that and understand like reach what are you doing to yourself like why do you need that why is it isn't the making
Starting point is 00:24:51 the music and loving the music that i made enough like why isn't it enough that's what it used to be enough what changed so I had a lot of like really deep things I had to go through and anyway I went to this sound bath feeling it's like crystal bowl super hippie I'm in California everyone hates me right now it's not okay but it's like it was beautiful it was this like reiki situation where they put crystals on you it was like everything you're gonna make fun of like basic white girls for don't worry I've done it before it's amazing and um while I was while I was doing it I had this realization where okay I don't know what you believe is up there God source whatever you call it but I just kind of figured out that I just need to align my vision of what I want my life to be
Starting point is 00:25:40 with what source wants to be with what God wants to be I don't need to do anything else I don't need to ask for anything else the also other point like i will bring up as someone who covers entertainment is that like also jennifer lopez can't sell a record to save her life do you know what i mean like it's so hard i think because like when sofia was here she was like don't compare your hustle to their highlight reel like what what you see is like everyone like it went triple platinum 900 times but like the thing is is that like those things are things that they record companies or movie companies or whatever put in place and like to make you feel bad you know what i mean also like the music industry's changed so much nobody sells records anymore i haven't bought
Starting point is 00:26:23 a record in 15 years it's streaming a lot and that's really cool and really exciting and it's doing things that my last record didn't because i think some of the songs are a little bit more alternative sounding and like a little bit more stream friendly yeah i don't know i don't freaking know but there it's on a lot of cool playlists and there's a lot of things that i could look to if i'm just looking at how we measure things like oh this is successful but the truth is you want an emmy it could have been it could have been bigger and it and it hurt and i had to kind of do some like facing some shit like whoa i'm really attached so crazy i'm really attached to an outcome this really broke my heart this shouldn't have broken my heart i should have
Starting point is 00:26:59 been i thought i was more okay like i'm the fight song girl i'm like encourage people we've recently had conversations in here about how i think when you're in the spotlight a lot of people feel the pressure to be up up up positive positive positive like it's really nice when people do come in here and it's rare that you do hear about the shitty stuff and you do hear about them feeling human because i think all these girls out there who want to do what you do for a living one day or who just really connect with your music they probably love hearing i mean they're sad for you but they also feel more human i write that more than any i'm sorry i don't know i was gonna say just and it's like you're experiencing this now it's like we'll have
Starting point is 00:27:47 people come on sometimes and it's like you know what was the the lowest moment that you've had and somebody talks about something from 10 years ago where it's like this it doesn't end and like for everybody's always struggling through something so it's like really refreshing to hear that from you when you're going through it like literally as literally going through i mean yeah it's a powerful thing and interesting that i had a podcast today when i'm like figuring all this stuff out and like actually for the first time you know the past couple weeks i've actually been feeling a lot of peace and like really kind of calm and grounded and and back back to like my joy yeah i started doing charity again and like doing i'm seeing bedside for patients at
Starting point is 00:28:24 hospitals and i know it's crazy and i just pretend to be sick oh okay becca oh my god i love you guys anytime i get a cold i'm gonna call you and be like i need bedside singing this is your fight like my bunny nose is stopping yeah but like i think that um i needed i needed all that like you know it's you're right it's so easy to look back when you're way past it and be like oh thank god for that because i wouldn't be strong without that thank god for that because i wouldn't know how to deal with failure i wouldn't know how to be a boss without that and you are able to connect the dots like steve jobs says backwards when you're right in the middle of it it's really
Starting point is 00:29:05 hard to have faith and trust this is also going to be one of those moments that i am grateful for yeah right so i'm kind of getting there to like all right i think you're great and i think i love this record i mean the last record i liked but i actually like this record better so everyone right now please go buy it support our rachel or just go stream the shit out of it yay um okay when we come back i have maybe the greatest game that i've ever prepared oh god for a guest ever on lady gang so in now back to the lady gang and we're back i am nervous i don't even know what this game is usually bet these before she pulls them out no she's not letting us no no no i usually is um okay so there's a song on your record called shiver shivers shivers and it's sort of
Starting point is 00:29:53 sexual it's sexual yeah it's good um can you explain a little bit about the song shivers it's one of my favorites on the record yeah it's a that is a fun one um to like sing i mean i don't know for other people okay well it's i wrote it for my husband and it's about how he first of all If we're going to go the carpet route, then it's about how he touches me and makes me feel sexy. And how he loves me for who I am and doesn't need me to change. And orgasms or whatever. Yeah, okay. He's not going to listen to this.
Starting point is 00:30:31 He definitely is listening to it in the car with you together. Okay, so as you guys know, this year People Magazine once again put out their sexiest man. And it was questionable. There was a lot of uproar about whether this man was sexy. So I went back. I don't even know who it was. Well, I'm going to tell you. We're going to play a game called Shivers or Shit.
Starting point is 00:30:50 And basically, now that you know the background of Rachel's sex song, which should definitely be on your sex playlist. It's very sexual. We're going to go through some of the past Sexiest Man Alive. Now, I know you're married. You're married. I'm married. Oh, I don't care.
Starting point is 00:31:04 I'll go there. Okay. Anyway, so I get them all. And we're going to have everyone vote on shivers, which would obviously gives you shivers. Shit. I do want to point out the one we will not be voting on is the first ever People's Sexiest Man, which was in 1985, Mel Gibson. Really?
Starting point is 00:31:21 Interesting. Well, he's probably hot in 1985. Okay. All right. Well, the anti-Semitism doesn't really do it for me. Yeah, I don't know. I'm pretty sure. As a Jew, I was like, no, so what?
Starting point is 00:31:32 I'm a Jew, too. Oh, girl. Blonde Jews for life. When did you get your nose job? I'm just kidding. I didn't. I should have. Did you get one?
Starting point is 00:31:40 Oh, God, no. You have such a cute nose. Thank you. I didn't know about any self-improvement. You haven't done any? No, I got Botox before my wedding. Yeah. And it froze my face and I couldn't sing.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Oh. And I could sing. Where the hell did you get it? You couldn't emote? No, it wasn't that. I just couldn't emote when I was singing. And it was really confusing for me because when I sing, I really like to make my face expressive.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Yep. And I couldn't move my forehead and it was very confusing. did you sing at your wedding they were people were taking bets on how many songs i'd sing and it was very insulting i sang one to my husband did you have a concert at your wedding oh please so this is a time of like heavy self-promotion before i was had any success and everyone was like rachel's gonna turn the like wedding sign-in book into our mailing list leave your email i appreciate that you're like thank you for coming to the wedding thank you for coming to okay all right shivers are shit first one like you love it it's just so funny okay the first
Starting point is 00:32:43 one is 2017's sexiest man alive blake shelton are you going i just can't decide okay so i wouldn't say he's the sexiest man alive however i would have not the game sex with him so shivers okay i mean he's hot he's so tall he's funny he likes to get drunk that sounds like i'm gonna say shit because he looks like the kind of person that has a really stinky balls ew jesus how would you even like i just know he's like so beefy he has a giant bush and stinky balls yeah i bet he's very bushy down there But he's very talented. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Becca? I don't know. I mean, I guess I would do it if I were single. So shivers? Okay. I don't like saying someone's shit, but he doesn't do it for me. Okay. So.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Because you're the star, I'm going to give you the ability to just say. Rude. In 2016, we had Dwayne the Rock Johnson. Becca? sexually shit but as a person shivers you know what i mean absolutely on becca's page right personally like a person humanitarian influencer kind man shivers yeah not for me sexually i can't do a tribal tattoo it's shit for me i love him and i don't usually like bald men so shivers Basically, she likes everyone.
Starting point is 00:34:14 Hi. We're on the number two range. Also, these are the sexiest men. They're all hot. Every single one of these is hot. No, that's exactly the game. That's why. I know.
Starting point is 00:34:22 We're proving that they're not all hot. I'm so happy you have a candy here. But they are hot. What stage number is E.T.? Why? Leah's going to come say hi. Oh. We'll capture it on the recording.
Starting point is 00:34:33 We're in R. R? Building R, but tell her just to walk from her thing to the back of E.T., and I'm room 408. now no one come right it's really hard to get on the lot they wouldn't even let me on with a passport I'm like no she's on the lot don't worry
Starting point is 00:34:50 so dumb alright 2013 Adam Levine shit quick shit like that's diarrhea really oh shivers for me I think he's hot yeah shivers he's super hot it's definitely shit for me
Starting point is 00:35:06 I hate his falsetto because when Maroon 5 started he sang and now that they're doing only like music like that which is not songs about jane i need you to take me back to songs about jane but you're in like and he only sings in the falsetto and i'm like take it down to like sexual sunday morning i don't know if i've heard an maroon five song in like years you have i have but actually i really love the song my friend jason evigan wrote it and it's he's an incredible writer. That song in particular?
Starting point is 00:35:41 Yeah, that song. I really like it. Uh-oh, we have a visitor. Oh my god. We have a visitor. What a mess. I literally ran away. We're recording. We're recording, so don't say anything bad. Don't say anything terrible. I love you, Bailey.
Starting point is 00:36:00 I love you. They're going to yell at me. Becca knows how I run away. No, it's too late. Guys, Lea Michele is in the building. Lea Michele just came in. Surprise. Surprise, guys.
Starting point is 00:36:12 She's beautiful. Hey, guys, by the way, come into the microphone. You look so beautiful, Lea. Okay, so Rachel texted me earlier today. Babe, I've gotten into this meditation where you meditate with angels. Let's do it together. No, I didn't say let's do it together. I said if you want to try it on your own.
Starting point is 00:36:32 So is that why you wrote that? That's why I was like, yes, let's do it this weekend. Was it just like a personal thing? I was like, just try it on your own. I don't want to do anything without you. What do you mean? I was like, wait, Leah doesn't know how meditation works. You don't have to do it.
Starting point is 00:36:47 No, she's been getting into it, which is why I thought you'd be. I like to do it with other people. Meditation is called naps with friends. It's where you go with people, you lay in a room, you pay money for silent time. Hi. Okay, I'm filming my show. It's called The Mayor on Tuesday nights at 9.30 on ABC after Black-ish. Peace, guys.
Starting point is 00:37:06 Gotta go back. listen no i'm gone i'm doing my coverage now okay and then just come back thank you for coming leah we'll tell nicole you're here no come back it'd be so much fun we could do like a whole talk you look so cute can you please bring us some leah michelle merch yeah i need leah michelle merch love is alive those sweats are so cute
Starting point is 00:37:35 they're so cute I know alright have fun bye that was shivers that was shivers we have Michelle let's do we have Michelle
Starting point is 00:37:46 shivers shivers okay we just have a couple more okay David Beckham 2015 sexiest man shivers
Starting point is 00:37:53 he's so hot I need to tell you something you don't do it he doesn't do it for you no the most shivers the most shivers one time
Starting point is 00:37:59 I was interviewing Posh Spice and I was Victoria Beckham Victoria Beckham and I was waiting for her to like kind of get ready
Starting point is 00:38:06 and then over my shoulder he went I know where that's from and I was like what? because I was wearing the Posh Spice for Target outfit
Starting point is 00:38:13 and I looked up and like right beside me was David Beckham in a beanie with like a chisel face like the like
Starting point is 00:38:21 she's so hot and like a scarf and he's he's the orgasm right now thinking about him you are a lucky woman He looked me right in the eye.
Starting point is 00:38:31 It was amazing. Did you whisper back, Tarsha? I was like, I bet you do. No, because here's the thing. Are you trying to start flirting with him in front of her? Secretly inside, I'm always dying. You're like, gosh, hold, please. He's like, so anyways, I can take it off if you want.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Secretly inside, I'm always dying, but then I play it really cool. And I was like, oh, you know I know where this is from. And then I'm like, ha, ha, ha. And I was like, yes. He's like, that girl's a bitch. He's like, that girl's insane. Also, I interviewed Brooklyn, like, two weeks ago, and I just got to say he's really a nice guy, and you raised a nice boy. Wait.
Starting point is 00:39:04 Like, we're all— I hope you say it like that. I would have literally given him the universal sign for BJ, and that's the difference between you and I. I'd just be like, David, it's going to be about 10 minutes. You compliment a man's son when you want him to have sex with you. Your son's super hot. He brings a really solid B. And he's like, thanks, church lady.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Good work. 2009, Johnny Depp. Jack Shivers, except for he looks like he smells bad, so I don't know. I'm sure he smells bad. 2009, he smelled good. What was he doing that year? He wasn't next, but Rachel. He looks like he smells the worst at Pirates.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Oh, that's what it was. Have you noticed his tiny hands? He has the smallest hands. Which means he has a small, plural P. I don't want to know. I don't want to know. Rachel. Do you know the way he on Sessile?
Starting point is 00:39:53 That's who we think of. Oh my God, my best friend was her for Halloween. And she touched me with her tiny hands. He's like, oh, Kelsey, so good to see you. Oh my God. They're so small. No, that's his hand. They're so tiny.
Starting point is 00:40:09 That's not real. Show me more evidence. Why is that the smallest hand I've ever seen? No, it is the smallest hand. Do you guys see my life? I'm a journalist. Did you Google Johnny Depp's small hands? No, it's Johnny Depp.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Thank you. Okay, so it's a no from me. okay i changed my house moving on matt damon 2007 i just want to say the kelty has said no to everyone's over no she said yes to david becca standard but told him he had a nice son so yes matt damon becca matt damon doesn't give me like shivers but he's not but he doesn't like he's like the same as the rock he sexually shit shivers as a person okay shivers for me because i'm a boston girl and he's super boston he is yeah strong okay um it's also shit for me i don't know george clooney hot oh so hot even now old george my husband cannot listen to this because i used
Starting point is 00:41:06 to be able to talk about this and now i'm you too you meet i meet every so we meet them off so i okay i have a good george clintney story okay oh yes it's actually not that good We can go back. Just be like, I have a George Clooney story. I have a decent George Clooney story. I have a decent George Clooney story. For those not... Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I have a decent George Clooney story. After I sang on Good Morning America for the first time, I was upstairs in my dressing room and George Clooney was also on that day. And he was in a suit looking... So hot. George Clooney-ish and delicious. And I can't say that. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Very George Clooney-ish. And we'll have to edit out the delicious. We probably won't. I know. I'm not going to get out of it. Fine. He looked great. And my husband was like, oh, George, this is Rachel.
Starting point is 00:41:50 And he's like, I know who you are. I was like, oh, my God. Just stop. And my dad and husband were there also in suits. And anyway, we met, and it was great. And we were all downstairs. And two of his – I just broke a nail. It's karma.
Starting point is 00:42:08 For talking about George Clooney. Two of his handlers were like Looked at my dad and my husband And they were like Oh are you guys with George Clooney And they were like Yes we are We don't know who Rachel is
Starting point is 00:42:20 I think they just followed around George Missed my performance of my song No No Okay good I was like That would be That would be amazing
Starting point is 00:42:29 But after I was calling Everyone was like I had the most incredible thing And my dad's like I also had the most incredible thing happen I walked around That mistake For George Clooney's entourage
Starting point is 00:42:38 that's amazing that's a pretty good story I don't know it was good it was good George gives me shivers yeah did I ever tell you guys
Starting point is 00:42:45 about the time I made George record my voice message oh Kelsey no but that's so sad why isn't it still there I'm so dumb in my 8 minute interview
Starting point is 00:42:54 with Julia Roberts and George Clooney I used like two of those minutes to try to I cannot believe you were fired he sent me to the
Starting point is 00:43:01 Cannes Film Festival all the way there and it's like Amal and him are married it's the first interview and then like The last two minutes, I was like, and by the way, because I had just seen Todrick Hall do a Taylor Swift, and it had worked out really well, where she had recorded his voice message, and then it had been all viral. And I was like, that's what I'm going to do.
Starting point is 00:43:17 I'm going to make a viral moment. So I had George do it, but I don't think he knew my name, so I held up a piece of paper that said Kelty. And then he did it, and he was like, yeah, that was awesome. That was so great. And he was like, hi, this is George Clooney. Kelty's not here right now. Like, it was amazing. And then he left.
Starting point is 00:43:32 And then I left. I left the room, and his publicist followed me out, and he's like, yeah, George doesn't want you to have that. So he didn't want to be mean on camera. Wait, but he shouldn't have thrown George under the bus like that. The publicist should have just been like, you know what, you're not allowed to have that. He said that it was because, like, with the voice, like, people can take it off your voicemail and then put, like, their names in it and sell it and, like, we need to have control of everything he's doing. Whatever, anyway.
Starting point is 00:43:57 Whatever, I could go record his movies. I know. Like, chop it together. He just didn't want to be a part of it. And Julia Roberts was not having it. She never has you. She never wants. but do you know the amazing story about one more who doesn't ever have me
Starting point is 00:44:10 i wish i knew any celebrity could care like i do clue wants nothing to do with me i'm constantly all up in her business okay i love you i love everything about it she's like okay okay leave me alone every time i see her i'm like wild fan of she's like this bitch again you're literally getting a restraining order literally i'm like i just love the show i love everything about it I love you because you're the best person ever. Christine Sirianna forever. Yeah. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:44:38 She's like, I do not want this woman around me. That's amazing. That is amazing. Why? Who doesn't want it with you? Oh, I have an amazing Julia Roberts story, but it's not with me. So way back in the day when Entertainment Tonight was the only show that existed, like there was no internet.
Starting point is 00:44:52 There was no BuzzFeed. There was no Access Hollywood. It was like only Entertainment Tonight. It was it. Something happened where Julia had pissed off Entertainment Tonight. And so my old boss had said to, like, everyone on staff and all the cameramen, anytime you see Julia Roberts, we don't talk to her. We don't put her on our show. And you need to lower your cameras.
Starting point is 00:45:16 And so for, like, an entire year, every time she was, like, on the red carpet, the E.T. cameras would just go. What did she do? She had to call and apologize. But what did she do wrong? I think she, like, was supposed to give us some exclusive or didn't stop for it. I don't know. I don't know that whole story. And it was, like, awful.
Starting point is 00:45:30 whole thing and then they also were like yeah we're also like never talking to any of that publicist clients like that entire client list it was very we were very powerful back in the day now we're like please talk to us rihanna somebody give us an interview i'm like hey i'm like gladly well anyways oh wait bradley cooper is our last one but it's bradley cooper 2011. Well, he was it in 2011. But where was he? Was that after The Hangover? Was that Hangover? Because that's when he got hot. Hangover, Bradley Cooper. Because he wasn't
Starting point is 00:46:08 hot before that. No. Wedding Crashers, Sack was not hot. Not hot. No, I never saw it. He was in Wedding Crashers? Yes. He played Sack. Sack. Oh, yeah! Yeah. Did he get a nose job? I think he's got a lot of jobs. Like, many jobs. Because he looks completely different. He was so hot in
Starting point is 00:46:23 Hangover. Like, the hottest man I've ever seen. But also, was that because the other ones were so ugly? No. he's not on that picture he's cross eyed I don't think he's that hot in that picture that's Bradley Cooper 2011
Starting point is 00:46:34 that's his thing Elena's showing us a picture that's not a good one I think he's cute that's his sexiest he's also shifty eyes you guys shifty eyes
Starting point is 00:46:41 what does that mean like when you're interviewing him this is what happens although this is a podcast you can't really tell I know what you mean they can't really describe it he'll be like
Starting point is 00:46:48 Bradley Cooper has a movie and he'll be like yeah the movie is great and I had a really great opportunity and like they can't look you in the eyes no it's very insecure I thought for a while
Starting point is 00:46:56 that he might be hiding a secret but I don't know It also might be, like, an anxiety disorder, but, okay. I thought for a while he might be hiding his secret. Like, from you? Are you alluding to his sexuality right now? No. I just thought there's some sort of something.
Starting point is 00:47:13 Like, he's a serial killer? Yeah, something. I'm sure he has a lot of secrets. Listen, there's a lot of secrets in Hollywood. It can be your sexuality. It can be that you, like, watch child porn. Like, you have seven wives. You're bankrupt.
Starting point is 00:47:27 like there's a lot of secrets there's a lot of secrets yeah like oh i actually have no money but i like took this picture on the instagram with a private jet like there's a lot anyway yeah love you so much okay um moving on we are going to come back and have you figure out people's lives ask the lady gang and we're back uh before we start ask lady gang if you guys want 20 percent off of jack vanek.com use code lady gang um so for this part of our podcast you're gonna help us answer questions from our listeners okay and give them semi sort of decent advice okay but we're not that good okay um are we gonna try with the advice or try with the advice okay and then we'll we'll probably bring it back down i'm always a trier yeah that's fine just a little bit
Starting point is 00:48:13 Oh, me too. I love to try. This is my new motto. I love to try. I'm writing it down. It's kind of my thing. I love to try. I love not trying.
Starting point is 00:48:21 That's your new... I already have the name for my memoir. Kelty Knight Tries Too Hard. Oh, God. That's what it's going to be called. What would your memoir be? I love to try. This is my fight book.
Starting point is 00:48:32 I'm just kidding. It was pretty good. That would be good. That was really quick. That's in your back pocket. Yeah, just in case. Thanks. I really got to get away from that song, though, so...
Starting point is 00:48:42 I think it should be praying with angels. Oh, my God. Meditating with angels. Leah's blew up. Oh, really? Wait, guys, I wanted to say this. She's nuts. Leah's not in the room.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Leah told me the last time we were together. She was like, I really want to get more into meditation. Can you help me? So I did a beautiful meditation this morning because I'm a super hippie. And I was like, this is so wonderful. I should send it to Leah. So I sent it to Leah. And I said, Leah, here's a meditation I just did.
Starting point is 00:49:08 You should try it. and she mistook that i'm gonna grip hold hands like angel meditation and she wrote back cool let's do it this weekend you're like no girl i got plans i got i got worried okay okay back to trying let's let's try okay all right our first question comes from lauren lauren says my boyfriend's mom is immature irrational inconsiderate and self-absorbed his dad is a sweet guy but he is an undependable alcoholic p.s they're divorced his sister is even more self-absorbed than her mother than his mother and will only talk to anyone in the family if she needs something i'm flabbergasted at how my boyfriend turned out so normal bottom line i truly am grasping for any
Starting point is 00:49:53 kind of advice or cathartic life experiences to share with another person about how to deal with a dramatic family especially a mother who will likely be my in-laws in the future okay run no i actually how does it work you guys want me to do it okay we all do it no my office is gonna be so deep and everyone's gonna be upset it wasn't this podcast it's not what they're not gonna be upset they like it yeah no they're like fine fine sometimes together here's the thing guys this is what i believe i just i kind of believe that what you're seeing on the outside is reflecting what's going on inside sometimes you have to ask yourself if people are bothering you on the outside what are they mirroring that i don't like about myself right now you wouldn't be bothered
Starting point is 00:50:32 by it if it wasn't something that it was like kind of resonating truthfully to you so maybe ask yourself is there something similar in this woman or in the sister that I kind of try to hide in myself that I recognize in them that hurts me and show compassion because if it is a you should be kind to that part of yourself and try I always try kindness honestly like I think that it goes such a long way when you're bothered by someone just allowing them a little grace and like being sweet to them has really helped me with people that i'm bothered by because it kind of shows their good side like you're going to get from someone what you give so try to give a little bit more love you want to go no um what a bummer i'm such a bummer no it's a bummer situation to
Starting point is 00:51:21 be in but i do at this point um compassion and empathy are very important in these situations because oftentimes people are this way because they've had like tricky life experiences or not the greatest life like in general um and so i always like to say too that people are who they are like your boyfriend is be is this way he's amazing because of these people not in spite of them so whatever they did they did something right so be grateful that that created the man that you're with because maybe if he had this incredible family he could have turned out to be an asshole like you don't know if these people have shaped him and in the positive through their negativity and it's just not your place to judge it i mean if it's coming back at you and it's
Starting point is 00:52:15 like aggression towards you it doesn't seem like it is it just sort of seems like they bug the shit out of you which is normal for for in-laws most of the time yeah because it's not your family and so you're less patient about my rule is always to not talk shit about his family though like he can he can as much as he wants but you can't no yeah um i just have like a note about that too because i dated somebody that their family wasn't the nicest and it did end up like reflect not reflecting on me but affecting me and i spent so much time trying to get them to like me but it's like they weren't gonna like anybody so i think that they're you can't change somebody else's family at all so it comes to just like you have to accept it and then also not let it really
Starting point is 00:53:01 like tear you down yes okay i always say too i don't always say this i said it like once once last week and i want to say he's like now i say it a lot no but like how you no one and no one decides how you feel except for you no one decides how you react to such a situation except for you so if you're being triggered you need to like you know check back in and say actually i control my state of mind always even if people are bothering me like i can control the being the ball of light that i am right my therapist likes to tell me how you are with the issue is the issue that's good all right okay so our last question is from caroline okay this is i also haven't read this so we'll see how it goes it's a really long paragraph she says i've always been a big
Starting point is 00:53:51 proponent of not texting a guy first as you all seem to agree this past weekend i was out with friends and ran into a goal an old guy acquaintance from college fast forward to now he's single and cute and has a job he loves we seem to be vibing really well throughout the night asking for my number etc i drove him home at the end of the night since i had my car he invited me to come in for a drink i accepted but he made no moves he actually looked totally bored feeling this was going nowhere and all the vibes were off i headed home he hasn't texted or reached out so i know i should let it go but i can't help feeling disappointed in the situation i happen to know he's going to be at the same event as me this weekend and i'm tempted to text him to meet up
Starting point is 00:54:31 afterwards and go out with friends but is that faux pas to text him first and show my desperation if he may not be interested caroline what's the one rule of lady gang she knows it too she said she knows it you you answered your own question like you know never text first yeah he's not into you i mean i read that book and that was like life-changing for me it really is back in the 90s wait when was that book i don't think it was that long ago 1985 i was a baby we're just um okay yeah he's not into you yeah it sucks because i have had guys that i wanted to be into me who were not yeah and it just it hurts that's the worst when there's someone you like and they don't like you back and it makes you feel like you're not good enough and it sucks but it's not
Starting point is 00:55:11 true but it also happens to everybody it does literally everybody yeah um yeah i mean guys are really guys don't really play games like girls do so you have to know that what you're seeing is what is real like there's especially in a situation like this that you like you know each other already and it's not it just seems like he's playing yeah there's no reason i think he's just kind of aloof and doesn't care yeah and but at the event don't drink too much and don't act crazy yeah don't do what kelty knight used to do right and go to his house no she used to like what did you do you would go like stop with your dog exes i would just like go where they were gonna be guys me too
Starting point is 00:55:51 like you definitely saw me there you were staring at me like a creep you're by yourself in a corner staring at me the entire time sorry well guess what guess who facebook us now rachel when you're on television okay all the guys who facebook's me all the guys that were like uninterested have since come to show me They all just come back around. J-Date. You did? What?
Starting point is 00:56:22 What does he do? On a Jewish dating site. That's amazing. I want to do that, but I'm not Jewish. Why did I announce that publicly? I love that. What is wrong with me? No, that's great.
Starting point is 00:56:32 It's your innocent faces. I know. We're really tricky here. Leah got in a lot of trouble last time. She did. She did. And then our publicist said she can never come back. Yeah, we got her very drunk, and she spilled.
Starting point is 00:56:42 Why are we drinking? What the hell? As it ends. Damn it. Sorry. Will you come back? yes yeah okay and we'll get you're the best okay wait okay great what do you know this is the end thank you for coming thanks for coming let's just take five shots right now um thank you so much for

Starting point is 00:58:17 One of the first and easiest things I tell nursing students, if you haven't already done so, upgrade your scrubs to figs. Out with the stiff, boxy scrubs, in with the ridiculously comfy, well-designed figs that were specifically designed with us in mind. They're super soft, lightweight, and breathable with four-way stretch and moisture-wicking fabric that keeps up during long shifts. pockets are exactly where you need them the fit feels modern and tailored and they hold their shape wash after wash whether you're in class at clinical or working the floor you deserve scrubs that work as hard as you do go to wherefigs.com and use code figs ca for 15 off your first order that's wherefigs.com code figs ca
