Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys, it's your Lady Gang, Jack Vanek, Kelty Knight, and Becca Tobin. Thank you so much for subscribing on iTunes, and thanks for supporting the great sponsors who make it possible for us to have this much fun with you every single week for free. Well, what is this? Welcome to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Things are about to change around here. Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to the Lady Gang. I am Becca Tobin, actress and blogger. Across from me is Kelty Knight. She's so sexy. Self-proclaimed entertainment journalist.
Starting point is 00:00:42 And Jack Vanek is to my right, and she is the CEO and girl boss of Jack Vanek Clothing. My question today is, there are two types of women. one that will sleep in a thong and one that would never who are you so i don't say it to sleep in thongs up until like three years ago disgusting you got poo in your pee hole not thought they're like the hanky panky little like whatever it's what lace ones and then hold on is it a cheeky underwear or is it a thong no it was a thong but i'm saying i have switched over to the light side i guess when i bought my first pair of granny panties as an adult and i was like oh my god like you had never worn like granny panties not as like an adult because i'm not gonna wear them
Starting point is 00:01:37 oh my god it just i never knew i never knew welcome to the wonderful world of the full bottom underwear hell yeah that's incredible i know um all right i've never slept in a thong i could never it's disgusting no thank you i think i've slept in like a thong after a one night stand or something or not a one night stand like a hookup or something what do you do like take them off at the boy's house and just be no underwear bring your granny panty with you like what if it's not like you're not planned ahead yeah no that's like the only time i guess i wear one okay well there we go we're all on the same page thank god thank god we're friends and now it's time for good week yes it is bad week oh no okay who wants to start i'll go go so my bad week
Starting point is 00:02:24 is sometimes it really, really sucks being in the business that I am, being a little guy trying to compete with like big corporations. So, you know, sometimes you get like a really good opportunity and this really amazing company wants to buy your product and they place a gigantic order. And I was super excited because it's a company that I loved, a company that I shop at and i'm very envious of the success success and the rise of this company i want to know who it is now and then you know they place the order i ship the order and then you know like a month later they don't pay and then they file for bankruptcy and then i never get my money and they get to just sell their products and make money from me how much like did you were you owed
Starting point is 00:03:18 i mean enough to put like enough to buy a nice car wow put a down payment on a house like in texas what yeah so that sucks and not to mention that this there were many like small companies that this brand bought from and that are smaller than me that were like really counting on their money for like i don't know christmas and to live um like i actually was recently talking to someone who had a similar situation and some of the time if you file for like i'm like so not an attorney and i don't know what the f i'm talking about but you can sometimes get some of your money back but you have to there's like a bunch of people that like buy your debt back or buy debt no you can like whatever when they liquidate all their assets they you can like file to get paid and yeah like
Starting point is 00:04:11 30 cents on the dollars yeah like something something like that yeah i'll look into it for let me know attorney yeah i think i can do it i did go to law school in my dreams you know people that so that's your bad week so that's my bad week it sucks it just sucks being like being taken advantage of when you're like a small guy because it's like it's hard enough to try to be successful as it is and then getting like kicked when you're like small do you not have them make a like a deposit a lot of times they don't a lot of times they'll like you do like net 60 and they don't pay you for 60 days until after they got it it's shitty so that was bad sorry my good week is so i've always loved true crime love true crime podcast love murder podcast whatever
Starting point is 00:04:52 there's a new exciting podcast what is it it's called missing richard simmons don't turn us off right now and go look but wait till we're done but listen to it afterwards because it's amazing and i never even knew richard simmons just disappeared a few years ago wasn't it his housekeeper that that like kidnapped him i don't know so he's back though it no he's not i heard he's back since this podcast uh i think so no it's his people released a statement saying like these are ridiculous claims he's fine but nobody nobody has seen him and he went from being like the most accessible celebrity that everybody could like go to his house during the star tours and like take pictures with him and he he taught this like aerobics class every week yeah and then one
Starting point is 00:05:36 day he just like didn't show up and so it's a podcast of one of the guys that like used to know him super well that's looking for him and it's amazing oh my god like cereal that's amazing yeah i can't wait to get i heard the conspiracy about his his housekeeper they think that she like kidnapped him or something for like a ransom i don't know i don't know interesting this is all like hearsay yeah allegedly what's happening um kelty oh anything exciting yeah for sure so i was on uh the lot at work and brooklyn 99 films beside us which is like pretty cool and i don't know if you guys seen my instagram i'm sure you have it's world famous um you know i like to take pictures a lot of times of what i wear on the show because people like to see my fashions do they i'm just
Starting point is 00:06:18 kidding well here's the thing i used to post lots of different things and the most likes i get is from my outfits. I just like how humble you are. I know. I'm not humble at all. People love my outfits. They love my outfits. So, you know, every day, usually after I shoot the show, I walk over to, like, this one really beautiful street and we take the picture and then we walk back. But I'm
Starting point is 00:06:38 always, like, really dressed up, you know, in my outfit. Like, real fierce. And so I walked by, I rocked around the corner and Andy Samberg was there. I love him. And I was like, oh, hey, Andy! You know, because I interview him all the time and I see him all the time. And he kind of, like, was taken
Starting point is 00:06:54 a back and I think he thought it was a fan or something I was like it's Kelty and he goes oh I didn't recognize you you looked cool oh that's who said that the ultimate burn that's amazing right wait Andy Sandberg said that yes whoever you tagged in your Instagram has like 500 followers it's probably him oh it is what he goes on the lonely island Instagram but I want everyone to know that Andy Sandberg said it to me which I love that that is amazing out of the bag I also instagram the story jesus but i wanted to tell the whole story because i couldn't do that on instagram anyway so that was um you know that was my bad week my good week is i did something really nice what i cleaned out all my toiletries under my sink like all those extra and the things we
Starting point is 00:07:39 get like gift bags and like the lotion i do not want and i put them in a bag and i gave them out to some homeless people in hollywood far away from my house did you deliver them yourself yeah did they touch you no did you give like like a couple to somebody or did you know i had all in one big nordstrom bag and i gave it to a guy actually because i couldn't find any females which made me feel like kind of sad because there were some beautiful lotions and stuff um now they're jerking off with them yeah kind of dumpster but i saw the guy's feet and i was like you know what you need this lotion also i love it because it's probably like beach wave spray where they really need like a pad i know it's true there was definitely like some fancy
Starting point is 00:08:19 like texturizing cream and like you don't need to texturize it i feel like i need toilet paper yeah that's incredible yeah good anyway i felt like i was a nice person that was the thought i know you hate homeless people but i don't hate them i really don't i just have really bad encounters with them can i tell you something really quick yes i was inspired by you so i found an apartment and it's up a really big hill and remember oh yeah yeah yeah because that's why i live in the hills yeah because they can't make it up there so i'm like they can't get to everyone's gonna like think i'm so harsh and terrible and whatever but like everyone who knows me knows all my stories and i just want to say anytime i pass a homeless person whatever i send them no i send
Starting point is 00:08:59 them good i pretend i'm deaf and i send them i send them a prayer okay i do okay back how's your week my week's been pretty boring um i'm gonna say my good week is this i have very i have a lot of trouble being fair skinned getting like a sunless tanner situation and i always look even as a former spray tanning aficionado even especially as a former because i'm very picky so i just don't have great luck and then my friend introduced me to this bronze airbrush situation that l'oreal makes it's called l'oreal sublime bronze and i get it in medium natural tan and it's the sort of thing where you don't have to be super precise because it's like a mist like an airbrush and it's just sort of a gradual situation it doesn't smell bad i get out of
Starting point is 00:09:49 the shower i can just like mist it on sometimes i'll do like my chest sometimes i'll do like my arms and i really feel like it's the best sunless tanner i've used so it lasts it's like an actual sunless tanner it's not like a bronzer yeah it's like a sunless tanner but it's not so like extreme like i wake up the next day and i'm like i look like i have a glow but i don't look like orange because i like spray tan i did think you looked extra beautiful today did you oh my god i'm not even wearing makeup it's because i use this stuff on your face yeah it's perfect for your face because i always like hate how pasty i am me too um so there's my good week you should go get it it's l'oreal i got it on amazon for like nine bucks wasn't even an ad that wasn't even an ad
Starting point is 00:10:32 but it could be my bad week is this I have been trying to eat healthier because after the wedding the honeymoon like I blew it out like I blew it out of the water I was a beached whale and I was like you know what just being because I'm married and I don't have to lock down a man doesn't mean I can like when I jump up and down that my ass should hit the back of my thighs so I was like i'm getting it together i'm gonna eat healthy well a friend of mine actually you know cara santana who was on the podcast her fiance is jesse metcalf and he is very into fitness clearly his shirt is always off and he's in great shape gotta be so he told me that our local grocery store has these delicious pre-made turkey meatballs and i'm like oh my god i love turkey meatballs
Starting point is 00:11:23 i hate making them it grosses me out to cook meat but i'm super excited we get them i'm like these are the most delicious things i have ever had and i'm like just eating them and eating them and eating them and eating them because i'm like this is amazing it's just protein and like it's all i need in the day after four rounds of doing that purchasing them inhaling them purchase inhale i finally asked the like guy behind the butcher's counter like how much like can i see the nutrition of these things is there like bacon in them or something i don't know what the is in them but each one is hundreds of calories hundreds and i'm telling you i would house like 10 of them at a time it was like the time i ate a whole block of cheese yeah but you know during eating the cheese
Starting point is 00:12:13 that you are eating cheese and it's not good for you i was so deceived that i thought i was doing something so good for myself inhaling this shit it was one day i only ate the turkey meatballs I could have had, like, three Big Macs for the amount of calories I ingested. But it probably was just pure protein. It doesn't matter. No, there had to be, like, breadcrumbs. Like, there had to be, like, just fat. I mean, it was insane.
Starting point is 00:12:38 So I felt very sabotaged. I called Jesse, and I was like, you mother. You couldn't handle that I was hotter than you. It was like Regina George in the Calteen bars. I do want to say Jesse Metcalf has one of the most epic Instagrams of all time. he has a great instagram his instagram like i want to be as fabulous as jesse metcalf like when he has fan art and someone has oil painted his shirtless self and he's like here's some fan art like lady gang what's up where's our damn fan i want some fan art but why are you not oil painting
Starting point is 00:13:12 pictures of us shirtless at one point in the peak of my fame which was really like not a peak more of like a like a molehill i had a guy make my face out of red hots and we auctioned it off for charity did it look good it was so cool this guy bought it who was like a big glee fan i'm sure now he's really regretting it because i've gone nowhere um and he was like probably thinking i was going to be the next julia roberts sorry um i'll buy it back from you also i actually really want it can that ever rot one day i'm sure yeah live your best life well what is coming up well uh becca's very excited because we have a reality star from pump pump pump you up vanderpump rules now back to the lady gang our guest today is an american actress singer and model her instagram
Starting point is 00:14:06 is uh pretty much 100 beauty goals she's appeared on shows like 90210 jonas the hills victorious And most recently, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules. So, you know Becca is creaming her pants at this exact moment. Please welcome to the Lady Gang, Sheena Shea. Hi. Welcome. You have a great podcast voice. You know what?
Starting point is 00:14:26 I actually have a meeting tomorrow about starting one. You do? Yeah. Welcome. This is my after karaoke voice, too. So maybe I should just do karaoke. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:36 It's nice and sexy. It's rocking. Yeah. Thanks. Do you know that guy that does, like, the American Top 40 Spider Harrison? Yeah. On the radio. He has, like, the best radio voice.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Yeah. Well, they heard that guy. He's got a good... No? Yeah. You know who I'm talking about? Yeah. My dog's molesting your mom right now.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Oh, my God. Oh, they're in love. Well, it's a family affair at the Lady Gang. She's like, if my mom's not going to give Manny, I'm going to the other mom. Yeah, yeah. She's a real skank. I love that. Okay, so there has been a lot of drama with the show.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Yeah. But first, we want to talk about Hollywood and your sort of life in it, because you've done a lot of different things and been a lot of different worlds so what has been the ish moment what has been the moment where you thought Hollywood look out it is me I'm looking flat I'm feeling flat everyone knows my name I'm it I'm the ish probably this past season is the best I've ever felt I mean I definitely thought I was really cool like in my early 20s when I was booking commercials and stuff like that but the first couple seasons of the show looking back my style was terrible my makeup was terrible I don't know what I was thinking and why I didn't wear
Starting point is 00:15:39 eyelashes i feel like that would be so hard yeah and they the thing is every night i work at sir guillermo the owner he plays the first episode on repeat all night just to remind you what you and i'm just like can we get some updated episodes like hold on i'm so confused do you actually work there yeah i thought it was just fake no no we've all worked there for way too many years how often do you work there um now i'm there like twice a week do you get crazy tips because like people come just to see you basically yeah i got a really good one last night oh how much yeah i mean it was 100 but that was way over 20 right yeah that's amazing they were awesome it was so funny because one of the guys had i guess one of the other husbands stayed
Starting point is 00:16:21 home and the one guy was like man i wish we had a kid so i could stay home and babysit too like i don't want to be at this dinner but apparently i was his favorite one and i ended up being their server and he's like i'm so glad we don't have a kid do they request you like when they call to make reservations do they say yeah but we don't like honor those requests because we kind of make our own schedule now so it's like depending on what my press schedule is or whatnot then it's like like last night i'm like oh i'm free i'm gonna come in tonight i text the manager right he gives me a small section and we do like a modified shift so we're only there for a few hours oh that's like a celebrity shit yeah i love it wasn't always like that no no no it was real
Starting point is 00:16:56 it's just it's gotten to be so popular the restaurant and the show that now so many people want to come in and talk to us and take photos we pull tips there so it became unfair if i'm like oh can you go watch my section so i can go do a photo shoot yeah so we figured out a way that it works where they're less hours we make less tips but it works out a lot better i love talking to fans and meeting people and taking photos you must get a lot of creeps though oh yeah yeah um yeah there's there's been quite a few that's kind of like a cool way to do like a meet and greet kind of situation though yeah but it also like security wise worries me because anyone can just walk in there yeah don't say it on them well no i'm just saying but it's like you need a bodyguard
Starting point is 00:17:40 are you not like in a back area or anything are you like just like right up there um i mean i just kind of walk around the whole restaurant yeah the whole time i'm there and just oh my gosh so what is the secret to liking the way that you looked this season like tell us how to look beautiful on film and pictures. What have you learned from seeing your face on the television? Well, her bod is bangin' this season. Thank you. My personal trainer, Seth Browning, is amazing. He's the one who totally got me in shape on the meal plan. And this was just the first season where I started out feeling good. Because last season, by the end of it, I got in shape. But then watching
Starting point is 00:18:15 the beginning, I was just like, oh, God. So, yeah, I just feel very confident now. Get it. Go on with a bad self thanks uh not to take it to a negative place but what's been the heartbreak what has been the thing you didn't get maybe the gig you didn't get the thing that didn't work out that you thought eh i'm out of here um i was really bummed i was up for a role on one life to live and i went and screen tested for all of that that was a big bummer but it ended up working out because shortly after that i got banner pump rules so it's like everything happened for a reason but that was one
Starting point is 00:18:50 that was a big one I mean there's always like oh my god there's this girl her name's I think Melissa Molinero or something like that she has like beat me out for so many jobs and there was an old Navy commercial and that was like the biggest upset I was like
Starting point is 00:19:06 damn it that could have been me wait is that the girl that had the Beyonce wedding video maybe she's gorgeous the dancey one where she had like a 15 minute long dance I think so yeah she dances sings acts does all of that but it was like three different jobs that i went out for and she booked it take her out yeah yeah let's put her in a hole bring it on cinco even though it was the fifth one i was really bummed i didn't book that
Starting point is 00:19:28 it was the one with christina millian bring it on cinco yeah what was that what oh you know they're like campy old navy commercials right oh yeah i was up for one of those you were which one was this like seven years ago yeah yes i remember were you up for it yeah no it was just up for like a backup dancer in one of these yeah i used to go out for those old navy ones like all the time it's good money when you book an old yeah oh yeah national those pay really well like what are we talking like 20 grand i don't remember i mean easily if it gets picked up for another cycle wait speaking of money this is a very important question the episode where katie and tom go do their prenup everybody is up in arms in our facebook group because a lot of people watch
Starting point is 00:20:11 on the facebook group and they're like when they say how much money that they have in their bank accounts their savings accounts the girls say it on tv yeah the the lawyer was like so you have i think he said something like three thousand dollars in your savings like something whatever but the girls on the group in the group are like do they not get paid or are tom and katie just like like making it rain um honestly i fast forward through a lot of scenes on our show because this season's been hard to watch for me just with shay yeah so i didn't see that scene specifically um we we do get paid yeah that's what i said i was like i don't know how good they are with their money i mean i'm saving up i have my retirement yeah and all of that stuff but um
Starting point is 00:20:55 i i don't think everyone's as good with their money as i am but i'm i guarantee you they have more than three thousand dollars it was that's it was it was shocking that could have been in like their personal account like in my personal account i think i have right eighteen hundred dollars right right in my corporate account that's like where i keep so maybe it was something like that they were losing it on tv i know i was like this is so personal like the most personal thing you could talk about but here's a little known thing or maybe it is widely known in hollywood i'm not talking about you but like a lot of celebrities have way less money than you would think i think terrible it's because you have business managers running your money that want
Starting point is 00:21:31 to make the commission off you running the money but they don't want to tell you to stop spending so these people have you know expensive houses and expensive leases and they'll be spending and going to you know wherever they're going but like they really don't have that money coming in and that's why so many stars file for bankruptcy because you just get like behind and no one ever says and never see your money yeah it's crazy my business manager is amazing he makes me put a certain amount in a tax reserve account a certain amount in my retirement account so um he's never told me my spending's crazy i'm not a big spender i spend most of my money on like trips or vacations but i'm not like materialistic like some of the girls on the
Starting point is 00:22:07 show i mean they have like the stewart weissman boots and i'm like why would you spend 900 on shoes it is insane to me i just i can't justify that don't cough at me girl do you have those boots i do but she has them in the obscure plum color in my defense okay in my defense my resolution for 2017 was not to buy any clothing or shoes like nothing and have you in december i bought those boots and i was like this is my like last hurrah finale yeah and i i mean it's been months now i have not well then that do you not have more money now do you feel like i mean i don't i don't know because i also like paid for a wedding too like some of the weddings so it's like i'll take up your budget like your account do you have a life mirror message do you have a
Starting point is 00:22:52 mantra personal mantra you live your life by um i think timing is everything i like that one yeah yeah yeah it's very true everyone always says everything happens for a reason it's like but does it i think it's more about the timing i feel the same way about when people when you get upset and someone's like this didn't work out because this thing was supposed is something better is coming i don't buy it i mean because sometimes that's true and then sometimes it's totally not and sometimes like something kind of shitty comes after that yeah you're like is it really so i like timing is everything because it is very true yes okay and then i'm on board speaking of timing in like a second
Starting point is 00:23:30 we're going to be back and we're going to talk about the show which is what Becca really wants to talk about I can't wait to dive in. She's like I know we asked the lady gang questions and we're done so now she wants to dive in Yeah I want to get in You're listening to the Lady Gang Okay we're back. First of all do you want to get specific
Starting point is 00:23:48 or can I just ask? I need the update on Brandi Lala On Brandi and Lala Yeah like what's happening Well, Lala and I are friends. We've been going to the gym a lot and hanging out a lot together. I really like her. I think I gave her a chance in the beginning and then just got sucked in with how much the girls hated her.
Starting point is 00:24:09 And I was like, well, okay, you know, like I'll just go with the flow. And I didn't really stand up for myself or for her. And watching that back, it was hard because I'm like, that's not me. I'm not a person who's like, I don't want to talk to you. This is making me uncomfortable. It was like my heart was racing like in that scene. And I was just like, but I knew if I was nice to her, then that would get back to the girls. And then the girls would get mad at me.
Starting point is 00:24:29 And so, but watching it back, I was just like, you know what? Screw it. Good for you. I like you. You're fun. We're neighbors. We have a lot in common. And yeah, as far as Brandy goes, we do follow each other on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:24:44 She has asked me to be on her podcast, which I haven't decided just yet. Okay. I think the timing needs to be right, and, I mean, the divorce hasn't even aired yet, so I'm careful with what press I'm doing until then. Wow. Damn. So feel lucky. Can I sit in on that one?
Starting point is 00:25:05 Holy shit. Okay, can I go? Yeah. No, actually, I have one more. Okay. Can you tell us what Andy Cohen's really like? Oh, my God. I love him.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Okay, what, like, because I've read his books, and I see him, obviously, on Watch What Happens Live, but, like, what's he really like off, when everything's off? He's the same. Really? He's just so much fun. He's so chill and just down to earth. Like, I want to just, like, go to a bar and get drinks with him. That's only happened one time.
Starting point is 00:25:29 But it's, like, I want to have his phone number. Like, I want him to follow me back on Twitter because I'm, like, I really like you. And, like, we're cool when we're in the same room. But I wish, like, he would be, like, my best friend because he's really awesome. Now you may begin. Okay. Thank you. Number one.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Mm-hmm. Are Jax and Brittany engaged? No. Okay. I heard a rumor. They're not. If so, they haven't told me. okay number two are you going to be a real housewife yes that's a goal i want i want to
Starting point is 00:25:56 graduate i want you to be i think i'm maybe still a little too young i need to buy a house first i don't know about a real housewife in an apartment has anyone graduated not yet you'd be the first right i see it that'd be so good though it's gonna happen like maybe you and oh i'm all about it i put that out there all the time yeah well stassi needs a husband first yes yes i just ran into stassi in new york yeah was she nice she was very nice good how how are you guys um you know we don't we haven't been hanging out as much but they the thing with me is in the off season i mean i work with you guys i film with you guys like all summer i'm with them every day so in this time i like to travel i like to spend time with my family and a lot of my
Starting point is 00:26:43 friends outside of the show so recently we haven't hung too much but i've rekindled so many friendships that kind of got lost last summer and um i wish they understood that that's hard to have different groups yeah and also the friend group like my la la friend group it's like all the girls from like villa blanca and pump who i've been friends with for like seven plus years yeah a lot of the girls on the show don't like them so it's hard for me because i'm like well i've been hanging out with these girls and you don't like them so i'm not hanging out with you because i'm hanging out with them and why do you think katie has so much trouble with women friends or that's just i mean obviously when you watch a reality show you get like snippets and like sometimes it's not really
Starting point is 00:27:26 accurate but i find that like for someone who like is happily married and like seems to like you know be in a good place in her life like she gets very jealous you know she doesn't have and don't take this the wrong way. She doesn't have a lot of friends, but like the girlfriends she has are very, very close friends. Whereas me, I mean, I could easily have a group chat of like 20 girls. Right. Because I just, I do have a lot of those like. You're a girl's girl. Yeah. But, um, I have a lot of like more casual friendships, party friendships and Katie just has her core girls. So, um, I don't know. I mean, I guess that could be a reason. Maybe she's not as social as like I am, but, but having a lot of friends also
Starting point is 00:28:08 puts you in a bad position when they don't get along and then like there's this party i'm going to on saturday and i'm like okay if i invite them i can't invite them that's the worst it's like so i'm only inviting one group but thankfully the other group is in canada so it works out there you go oh they're doing their signing in canada yeah i just saw that it's 1994 wait wait what they're doing an autograph signing at a mall in canada what is it 1994 I bet it's Edmonton. Is it Edmonton? There's a giant mall in my hometown.
Starting point is 00:28:37 I thought it was... Don't make fun of Canada. I'm Canadian. Just kidding. No, no. I would love to go to Canada. That is such a Canadian thing. That's signing in a mall.
Starting point is 00:28:44 It's just like... Yeah, it's like 80s. Britney Spears is going to be there with her two backup dancers. Yeah, the cast of Saved by the Bell. How much do they get paid for that? Probably like 10 grand or something. No, less than that. Really?
Starting point is 00:28:57 Yeah. Interesting. I want to know all the money. I do too. I'm so fascinated. How much are you getting paid for this nothing you're doing today? It's something. A signing?
Starting point is 00:29:08 Yeah, it's stressful. It's super stressful. I'm just kidding. Becca, did they pay you extra for lease signings? Yeah. Oh, you did? Yeah, what do you mean extra? Like we would go and like something, like anytime we'd go do an appearance, you'd do a signing.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Yeah, yeah, yeah. More than we made on the show? Well, it depends like the... Oh, see, in my business, it's an all-in thing. Oh, really? We're going to pay you this amount of money a year, and we own you. Oh, no. Like, 27 hours a day.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Yeah. Not for you. No, no. I mean, if it's publicity for the show, but, like, with Vanderpump, I'm sure it's just them as themselves, not, like, with Bravo. Yeah. It's, like, them going, so it's, like, a separate thing. So you can, like, do one-off.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Do you have, like, a separate agent for that? Um, I have my publicist who almost doubles as, like, a manager because he's so awesome. So whenever I get a deal like that, I will have him kind of do the talking for me. And then my lawyer will negotiate it. And then everyone gets a percentage and everyone's happy. That's the way to do it. Business of being beautiful. I had a manager and it just wasn't the right fit for me.
Starting point is 00:30:13 I had an agent. That didn't really work out. You already have the team you need. Dream team. Yeah. Do you want to talk about the breakup? You can ask me some questions. I don't know how much I want to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:30:23 what is it like going through something so publicly? Because we always read it. We read things in the magazines, and we think we know people's lives. And so, like, when you're going through something and you know it's going to play out for millions and millions of people. I know it's been a lot harder for him because I'm more a public person. I signed up for this, and although he did too, I don't think he was prepared for what he was signing up for.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And then with his addiction and all of that coming out, I know it's been very difficult for him. But for me, I'm a very strong individual and I can get over things very easily. Not this relationship, but just meaning like if there's like a grudge or something, it's like, um, so for me publicly, I mean, this is what I signed up to do. I'm sharing my life. I think I'm a very relatable person and you know, why not talk about it when that's what's going on?
Starting point is 00:31:16 I mean, that's my job in my life. My life is my job. so I really appreciate that because I feel like the people who put themselves out there and then when something real happens and they close off and like they actually actually it's a violation yeah it's kind of like you should have known like this is what you know I'm I'm very I'm an open book I'm very open about you know anything I've done to my face or you know things in my relationship like I just I think that being open and honest is a more likable quality than being like oh no i've never had botox my face just doesn't move yeah well and it's probably better
Starting point is 00:31:52 than anything anybody is just going to make up especially regarding like a breakup or something like that right it's like god knows what people would say about it if you weren't kind of honest exactly and there were a lot of stories that came out that i won't say her name because i refused to give her publicity but a girl yes spoken like a true a girl they were working with on music had started putting some false stories out so then we put the truth out but then it looked like i was bashing him when i wasn't i was like no your friend did this i'm just putting the truth out there but then that made him look bad and it just it's been difficult but um i'm i'm very interested to see the edit of the reunion that we filmed last week how was that i pretty much bawled my
Starting point is 00:32:37 eyes out the entire segment he was there yeah it was a very difficult i hadn't seen him in a few months so i didn't know how i was gonna feel and then the second he walked in i was like i cannot and i it was kind of just like word vomit kept coming out and then it was like after i went in like in an emotional blackout i was like wait did i say that oh shoot i should not have said that and then i was like but i should have said this and then all night i was just like going crazy replaying everything in my head so i'm nervous to see that oh gosh i always think that like when you have time though to like think about the worst the worst the worst that by the time you If you see it, you're like, oh, my God, it's not as bad as I expected.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Yeah, and it's like, I mean, for me, I mean, I'll be able to deal with any edit they give. It's what the fans are going to take from it. That's where I'm like, I've had such a good season, and you've really seen my true colors this year. I don't want to end it on a bad note looking like a frigid bitch, but I was really upset. He really hurt me, so. For sure. I think I had every right to act the way I did that day. I can't believe it.
Starting point is 00:33:40 There you go. As long as you feel that way, you're good. I mean, this is going to be good TV. I'll say that. All right. She's taken charge of her life, and now she's going to take charge of yours. When we come back, Ask the Lady Gang. Hey, ladies.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Okay. Ask the Lady Gang. Okay. So before we start Ask the Lady Gang, if you guys want 20% off at jackfan.com, use code Lady Gang. I brought you a mug. Oh. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:34:06 I love it. Sip me, baby, one more time. So cute. so for this part of the podcast you're gonna help us answer questions okay from our lady gang they're about life love and in between okay cool i think you'll be amazing sounds good okay so our first question comes from jessica and she says my husband and i are getting ready to celebrate our five-year wedding anniversary over the last three years we've been struggling hard with infertility we've done three rounds of ivf the last one ending in a 13-week miscarriage in august
Starting point is 00:34:36 i tend to come off emotionally cold but infertility has broken me and i'm having a hard time dealing with everything since we started trying i have associated sex with having a baby and not with love romance or just fun like it used to be do you have suggestions on how to get my marriage back to pre-infertility days where sex was fun and not a struggle that's really sad um man jessica jeez i that's something that i worry i'll struggle with one day um but uh that's a tough one i don't know i feel like until you're in that position you don't really know it's like oh sexy lingerie spice it up it's like that doesn't work for everyone right and it's easy to say like in a position where we are yeah i mean that's some like real life shit that's not
Starting point is 00:35:21 just like oh i i caught him texting a girl like how do i get over it yeah i mean those are usually question i wish i had advice for that that i just wish them the best i think as like a female world group we really do chrissy teigen said this on her show like years ago before she had luna we really have to just like stop asking other women like when they're gonna have a baby like it's the it's like this horror i am going through right now like every five seconds someone is like have you has it started for you yet no no one wants to see me mother a child okay but it's like every five seconds when you're gonna have a baby when you have a baby and it's it's like it's such a hard thing and i can't imagine what it feels like to be jessica and be getting asked that all
Starting point is 00:36:07 the time i think my advice to you is to stop trying for like give yourself three months you guys have really been through the ringer you've been through so much i think you should be like you know what let's take a break let's not try for three months and put on your calendar like when you're going to start trying again and just give yourself a break and like if you just don't want to have sex for two months because you've been having sex seven times a day like to try to get pregnant just don't like give everything a break and a reset and like I think then you will find joy in it again and maybe kind of like start over like start dating again like maybe I mean don't like live separately but maybe you know like maybe stay with like a girlfriend a
Starting point is 00:36:44 couple nights a week and have that time apart where you miss each other because when you live together i mean things can definitely get stale but um maybe you know do some like fun date nights and just like you know fall back in love all over again no i like that because it's maybe the pressure is obviously so much just on the sex that everything else is probably so unenjoyable so it's like yeah take a break go do some fun dating stuff focus on yourself and like kind of try to get back into like the whole thing or at least like got a hairball right now or at least try to give advice or he's like hump hump hump hump hump okay okay our second question comes from raven raven says i'm 25 with a pretty nice full-time job and i recently purchased my
Starting point is 00:37:27 first house with my mom aka we bought the house together and live with each other i feel stuck though when i look around and all of my friends seem to have their life together more so than i if it be relationships or babies or what have you i've been eternally single and all my co-workers want to know when I'll start dating again. I'm starting to feel like settling down with someone just isn't in the cards for me. But is it bad to still be living with my mom at 25?
Starting point is 00:37:51 I just feel stuck. Raven, first of all, congratulations on purchasing your first house. I think it's very exciting, and I think that comparison is the thief of joy. When you look around the world and you see your friends and other people having their life more together,
Starting point is 00:38:07 just know that that's a lie. Nobody has it together. I have a house, and a mortgage and a full-time job and a paid-off car and I like cry 17 times a week like nobody has it together nobody's life is perfect no one's relationship's perfect no one's it's just stop comparing yourself and if you feel stuck at 25 living with your mom then you're stuck if you feel like you have the kind of mom that's like a sister mom where it's like you can do whatever you want you can bring boys home someone can be like making you toast in the morning and Rome's like hey I don't know your name why are you wearing boxer shorts in my kitchen then that's
Starting point is 00:38:38 fine you know um but i think your gut tells you and also she's only 25 she's so young you don't need to be in a serious relationship at 25 take a page out of my book don't do it and also i don't know why people are bugging you asking when you're gonna date again it's the same shit as asking people when they're gonna have a kid yeah oh i used to get that all the time at sir every single table when you guys gonna have a baby i'm like what if i've been trying that is so like the worst it's just so yeah yeah i mean yeah i think that you kind of like went over the whole entire thing like and maybe people think that you have your life together because you have a house that's like one of the biggest accomplishments as an adult and if you've done that at 25 then that's
Starting point is 00:39:18 amazing good for you 31 going on 32 and i don't have a house yet so yeah i'm jealous i'm jealous damn it raven okay like is this raven from the bachelor i wish i think she's like 25 too right must be i know she listens okay okay so our last question comes from samantha and samantha says i'm 28 and married and i feel like i have lost so many friends since then it's like the phone doesn't work two ways anymore i want to know how and where do you find and meet new friends nowadays i can't just go up to someone and ask to share their crayon that's cute like you know when you're in grade school and you're like is that a typo i love my husband and i have two girlfriends i can call constantly but i need someone that still wants to venture out help
Starting point is 00:40:02 well you have a lot of friends so you're a great person answer i have made most of my friends at work like the majority of my girlfriends i've either worked with at villa blanca or the place i worked at before um yeah i think the majority of my friends at work like does she have a job maybe pick up another job it's great meeting people at restaurants i mean that's how we got show you know yeah i have to say though if you have two friends you have more girlfriends than a lot of people do yeah so yeah and i think also you know there's something about that return of saturn age i don't know if you guys know this but 28 is the 29 and a half is the exact okay so it's like it starts like around 28 and where saturn is in the same place it was when you were
Starting point is 00:40:46 born and so they say it's like your second rebirth it's like a lot of big changes in your life that's i got engaged really okay there you go so it and i think that sometimes like when you're in your late 20s and you're about to turn 30 you start being like what did i do in my 20s what did i have enough fun like do i need to you know and so you're probably freaking out about that but i will say having two good friends and an awesome husband it's really all you need like yeah and i do think it's fun to have some acquaintances and i think some of the best places i found some like acquaintance friends are in a workout class like if you go to the same workout every same soul cycle every thursday you can see your gym friends um i like you know like book club online you could
Starting point is 00:41:27 come inside the lady gang facebook group and you have 8 000 friends right now well yeah i mean there's a lot of online kind of things that you could do too because it is hard to meet people out in person like it's hard enough to date in person let alone trying to get a group of friends when you're you know if you're married and older so but also girls i mean they can be such bitches and it's just like and how do you know if this person's actually a good person yeah i recently made a new friend at work congrats um thank you you know adding another to my list but um it's like you know can i trust you and you know it's like that whole it's like a new relationship it's a new friendship but um we've gone out a few times this past week and she's great and it's
Starting point is 00:42:10 you know but um it's hard to meet good girls i feel like it's harder for women for sure yeah Okay, so where can everyone follow along in your journey and adventures?
