Oh, Lady Gang, you know, the year was quite a year and we have a present for you. If you didn't
get Lady Gang clothing, now is your chance because shit is on sale. For instance, the velvet dress
right now, the beautiful velvet dress with the jewels on the arm detail, it is $59. But then on
top of that, everything else is an automatic 20% off. So head over there, get a sweater dress.
I've worn mine 15 times already. The Swacket. That's right. You can be cozy all year long
with the Swacket. 20% off. Go to shop.theladygang.com. Shop.theladygang.com and get yourself
some goods. Okay. Let's talk love. Let's talk about finding love. Let's talk dating, specifically
dating on Match. So American singles have spoken and being hot is out and being emotionally mature
is in. Listen to this. Match's annual survey found that for the first time in more than a decade,
emotional maturity ranks higher than physically attractive on singles priority lists. In fact,
pre-pandemic being attractive was number one, gross. And now it's all the way down to number
eight. Yay. I'm so proud of us. Emotionally mature adults are now the new sexy. So there's nothing
hotter than dating someone who has their shit together, you know, who starts their day before
11 a.m. Only uses the word ghost to describe paranormal activity. I just love this so much.
And if you guys are ready for something more, if you know what you want and you're not afraid to
say it, download Match. And now messaging your top matches is free. Well, what is this? Welcome
to the Lady Gang. That's amazing. Say that again. The Lady Gang. Things are about to change around
here. Each week we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin,
and Jack Vanek. Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to the Lady Gang. I am Becca Tobin here with Jack
and Kelty. Hello, hello. You okay, Kelty? Do you have on press-ons? Do you have your
Olive and June press-ons on? Yes. They look great. They do look great. A nice winter white, I see.
no they're nude with stars oh yeah game changer well for the exact reason this is not an ad but
the reason you need the press-ons is i got home from my holiday trip and i had 10 hours in la
before i went to canada to see my brother and i had no time to do my nails and i was like oh
press-ons and then a perfect manicure every time you know they look great every time and i'm saying
I am like, I don't know about you guys, but I, the lap, the thing I wait last to do for any big
event, big moment, big, anything is nails. So I feel like I'll get everything ready for a big
wedding weekend to go to. And then it'll be like nine o'clock at night, the day before my 7.00 AM
flight. And I'm like, why do I do this? Because four days before I was like, I have plenty of
time. Well, cause going, I don't know if it's just me. I know a lot of my friends are this way too,
but like going and getting a manicure is the most daunting thing in the world. Like you like push it
off for so long. So it's like push it off, push it off. And then it's too late. And then you're
like, yep. That's press on baby. They're good. They're good. Welcome to the lady gang. Not an
ad. Not an ad. I just couldn't help but notice. Um, all right. Well it's time for good week. Yes,
it is. I'll kick it off. Mine has to do with a couple of weeks ago. It's a little, it's a little
old, but I felt like it was really important to share. Okay. I was leaving LA a couple of weeks
ago from Kelty's house and I had a really early, early flight. So I scheduled my Uber ahead of
time and you know how you can do your preferences. No talking. Yeah. Whatever. God, no music,
no talking, blah, blah, blah. I think mine's set to no, no talking, especially at like five in the
morning. So I get picked up at the end of Kelty's driveway. It's still dark out. And I greet the
driver and he opens the trunk for me and he's in a Tesla and it was brand new Tesla. And I was
thinking Hollywood bitches, Hollywood bitches, the out of work Tesla. You like, it's not,
maybe you should have chosen a different car. That's too high of a car payment to be paying
your car payment with Uber? You know what? It's like, whatever. That's, that's his life. Maybe
he's thinking I love driving. So anyways, he opens the trunk. I greet him. I say, good morning. He
says nothing. I think I say one more thing. And he also doesn't respond to me. And I felt like
part of me felt like offended. And then the other part was like, he took my direction perfectly.
And I was, and so I immediately shifted into gratitude because I felt like this is an early
morning. It's been a long week of work and I'm headed to the airport in the dark. I can just
close my eyes and sleep. So that was my good week. He followed directions. Perfectly. Didn't even
greet me. No small talk, but then not even a hello, not even a hello. But then did I think
i was getting murdered a little bit uh but then we're about 10 minutes 10 minutes into the drive
so my good week is about to turn bad week okay oh no and um he's playing sweet jams you know
really low and it's like you should let me love you is is the song playing but it's like lovely
you know and then it suddenly goes to a playlist of heavy metal and rock so i go from you should
let me love you to kickstart my heart by Motley Crue. So I'm hearing Motley Crue,
Motley Crue. Is it Motley or Motley? Motley. Motley, right? No N. Motley. Motley Crue is the
British version and they wear bow ties and it's jamming. It's so loud. And I, at this point,
just think he's a serial killer. There's absolutely no consistency with this ride and I'm just going
to have to put up with it. And the rest of the ride was, it was pump up music. How loud was it?
It wasn't matter how loud it is. It's just your eardrums no matter what. Yeah. It wasn't like
blasting, but it was, uh, it was enough. And I just thought, of course you couldn't get an Uber
ride that was seamless. Of course I hate, that's what I really, I really get really
grinds my gears as Jack Vanek would say. I can't say one time I've ever had like a seamless
experience with something like that with a stranger. Yeah. There's always something weird
that's going on. Something's off. Something's off. This is why you need to get noise canceling
AirPods or are you, are you still using your, your headphones with the cord on them?
No, I ha I have AirPods and it's fine, but I also feel weird when I'm in the back of an Uber
putting in my own headphones. Cause then I'm worried they're going to ask me a question
and they're going to think I'm ignoring them. Well, they're not going to ask you a question
because you said, don't talk to me. Yeah. But I also didn't say you to take your life by the
balls and wear headphones in your Uber. No, you need to get like a big, you need to get like a
big Bose headphone, like the headphones we use to podcast. So they can see the massive headphone on
your head. Don't you have big headphones that you travel with? I do, but I don't always bring
them there. It's a lot of stuff, you know, it's a lot for a short ride to LA. I don't really need
it anyway, but that was my Uber Chronicles. Who's next? I'll go. Um, my good week. Do you guys
remember? I've talked about him a few different times, but there's a little old man that lives
in my apartment complex and I see him sometimes walking around doing his laps around the apartment
complex, but he is in his nineties. Like the guy is old. And like, sometimes I don't see him for a
while. I haven't seen this man for like five months. Like I thought that he might be dead
and I've been spending a lot of time at home. Like I, I would see him walking around, but my good
week is Jared and I were just doing a walk like 15 minutes before we started recording this podcast.
we passed the gym the old man little old man is on the elliptical oh shit backwards
really fast you mean like reverse yes he was going like backwards on it he was reversing
he he was like living his life he was going way faster than i would go so my good week is he is
alive he is thriving and he is here to stay well probably not to stay but here to stay for today
this i mean but that's what we thought about betty white we thought she was going to make it to 100
people did a whole in magazine spread about her 100th birthday betty white turns 100 people
magazine cover is wait when was her birthday it's not until like the 17th or something yeah
but it reminds me of when i used to work at et and we had to pre-do all the dyed packages
is that what's it called epilogue no uh whatever anyway yeah and i'd be like i'd be in
no no no eulogy i'd be anyway i would be in the booth being like brad pitt was a great actor
like he's still alive it's so it's so weird have you do would you do them for people that
weren't even like sick or old no not always like we do it for people on drugs we do it for people
that were troubled and people that were old. Have you done a Betty white one before? Just
I have personally done a Betty white, but there's definitely, there was definitely a Betty white was
ready, ready to fly. Yeah. 10 years ago they had Betty's. Yeah. It's been in the vault for a long
time. They've been through three logo changes since. Yeah. That was the whole thing. I felt
like everybody thought she was dead for a while, but she's just alive and kicking it like this
little old man. So exactly. Okay. My bad week is, um, you know, I haven't talked about this
yet on the podcast. I had appendicitis, had to get an emergency, uh, appendectomy. Now this was
almost a month ago. I'm sitting here today and my gut is still so up. I'm still so constipated.
I'm still so bloated and I'm so pissed and I don't know what to do. Like, am I screwed forever?
did you not listen to me when I said, it's going to take you six months to recover from this?
Yeah, I did. And I didn't believe you. And then here I am. You thought, oh, because I'm Jack and
I'm like in my thirties, like my body will bounce back faster. They, when they blow you up with that
stuff, it takes like at least four months to ever get that bloat out of your system. Don't you think
I don't know about you, but I've been consuming like crappy stuff because it's been the holidays.
So crappy eating combined with alcohol post appendectomy is also maybe, maybe not the recipe
for success. I've barely been drinking. Like I've just been kind of not a hundred percent. So I
haven't really, I've been laying very low and I've been eating what I normally eat. So, but it's not
even the bloating it's the my pooping is very wrong and i don't know if my gut's like forever
screwed up from it no i would suggest a colonic because i think no chance i'll do it no
like but the thing is is that here's the thing jack is that it's not it's not poop in there
it's gas and so you need to stretch you need to do yoga you need to downward dog you need to fart
a lot like it's not there's no poop to come out there is the poop because it hasn't been coming
out is my problem anyway well listen you need a doctor somebody try to do some sort of i mean i
know you don't like to do any kind of like cleanse but if you did some sort of like a get your gut
health balanced like probiotic soup yeah no chocolate chip cookies no yeah i need i need
I have to have one a day. So I'll just throw that in there. Okay. All right. Then none of us are
going to have empathy for you. I'm sorry. I can't help you if you can't help yourself. I can't.
It's okay. I'll 2022 Becca already has a mantra for you bitches. I can't help you if you can't
help yourself. Well, speaking of can't help myself. Um, I am in Canada right now. I'm staying
with my brother. I'm in his office. He makes, uh, he does readings on YouTube. Um, his YouTube
channel. I guess I'm going to tell you, it's called Dr. Dennis business. You never see him.
It's just his voice. And he reads books. He just did Dante's Inferno, which is why it's sitting
here. The whole thing. Yeah. He reads it. I think it's illegal, but I was like, listen, if you,
if a hundred people are watching it, it's fine. Like if it's 40,000, it'll be more, but he reads
it and like, you can listen to it like an audio book anyway. And then he explains, he explains
what's happening. It's pretty good. Yeah. Anyway. So he has this whole YouTube, this is his office,
but anyway, that's not the point. The bad week is I arrived in Canada and I'm like, cool sister
from Hollywood who just got back from like a hugging camels in the middle East is like here
at your house. And I'm like, let me just bring my backpack downstairs. And then I fell down the
fucking stairs and I have a huge, you probably can't see it on zoom. I have a huge bruise on my
arm. No, no. Um, I cut myself and I fell down like nine stairs to start my 2022 off with a bang
New Year's Eve. You know, I, I really, uh, empathize with you because I started my 2022
off breaking my toe by stubbing it into the sideboard of the bed in the middle of the night.
So classic broken bones, bruises, love it off to a great start. Such a bad start. Although I will
tell you my good week, which is, um, I, you know, in December we, we took a little bit of time off.
And so I haven't been able to gloat about this. And it's been so long since I've had something
to gloat about that. I just, I really have to say it. I was featured in, um, domino magazine
And, um, I was featured by my new name, which is podcast host. It was my first press that's ever
not said TV personality. So that was like a gut punch. Um, it just been demoted down to podcast
host. But, um, I know Becca, you did a room with them, but Havenly did my living room for me. And
I finally completed one room in my house and it's photographed it. And they sent the pictures to
Domino and they did a whole interview with me about like how I made the room when I didn't
really do anything. Havenly did it all, but, um, I was so excited that I have one room done
and photographed. It was so beautiful. It was a wonderful experience. I just want to say thanks
to Havenly. And also thank you to Domino for making me feel like such a famous person slash
podcast host. Love that. I do think that Havenly is one of the most genius things on the planet.
I know it really is. Even me who all I do, like I literally on new year's Eve deleted every
Instagram that I follow. I'm only following houses and pets now. And all I do is spend time on houses
so I could just copy them. But it's like nice to have a person to work with, you know? Oh, yeah.
Havenly can't wait to work with you when I get a house. Yeah, let's go. Let's go. All right. Do it
coming up. This Virgo rising is going to Capricorn in your Aquarius. Oh, my God.

on frame bridge. You take a picture with your phone and they help you pick the frame based on

Please welcome Alisa Kelly.
Yay!
So first of all, I think your job is the fucking coolest.
tell us your whole story of how you got to where you are. Oh my goodness. Okay. I will try to make
a life story as succinct as possible. But basically this is as much of a surprise to me
as it is to anyone else. Actually, it's probably more of a surprise to me. I feel like other
people sort of saw it coming. But for me, you know, I had lived a normal life. I went to high
school. I went to college. I graduated. I moved to Los Angeles. This is where things start getting
a little weird. And I realized that I did not have a very strong sense of self at all. I was
actually really struggling. I was struggling in every single dimension of my life. I was struggling
professionally. I was struggling financially. I was struggling romantically. And I was trying to
find this, the purpose. I was trying to understand how to better navigate the situation that I was in,
but I realized that I really was unclear as to how to even approach it. So at this time in my
early twenties, I realized that I was more than just a Leo sun, that I had a Pisces moon. And for
me, this was the gateway into astrology because understanding that I was not just this one
dimensional archetype of a Leo, which is like I related to, but it definitely didn't capture
everything. Um, this piece, this Pisces moon piece, which said your emotions are different
than your output was monumental for me. And from that, I was like, Oh my goodness,
what is this astrology business? I started to research more. I started to learn more.
Um, obviously being the Capricorn rising that I am, I was like, you know, if I could just
create an astrology dating app. This would alleviate so many of my problems, at least as
it relates to the romantic aspect. So in 2014, I started an astrology dating app with my co-founder,
a friend from college. We did that for two years. That didn't work out. I moved back to New York,
continued studying astrology this entire time, arrived back in New York, still don't really
know what I'm doing. I still am feeling very aimless and directionless, but the whole time
I had been really consistent with studying and practicing and learning astrology. And at this
point, you know, friends and family had been asking me to do their birth chart over and over.
And then it was starting to sort of like, you know, this is also after the 2016 election. So
people are starting to ask questions about why things are the way they are in the world today.
and it just started to expand. Um, and people wanted to get their birth chart read. So I
eventually like put a price on it and I was like, okay, yeah, it's $50 for an hour or whatever it
was. And then that just started to build. And I started writing for publications. I started doing
workshops and that was as many years ago as it was to fast forward to what I'm doing now.
And I guess the point is, and the cool thing about how I have arrived at the career that I have is that it was very organic. It wasn't forced. It wasn't pushed. It was just a true passion leading to a true expertise that allowed me to really do all of these things and unlock so much of the energy and the creativity and the artistry that lived inside of me that I didn't really have an outlet for prior to.
too. Well, I'm very excited about this because this is probably, I'm like big on Enneagram and
I live like breathe, eat it. Um, and I've never had an expert astrologer. Like I know I'm an
Aquarius and that's it. Um, and so I'm really excited to learn about this and I don't even
know really where to begin to like explain this. We sent our birthdays in time. So do you want to
go girl by girl and do our reading? Do you want to explain like, cause when you're like,
I'm a Pisces moon, but a Capricorn sun, like, I don't even understand what that means. Can you
like give us one-on-ones astrology one-on-one? Yes. So astrology one-on-one is that you have
each individual has a birth chart and the birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment
that you were born. So in addition to the sun sign, which is how most people interface with
astrology, it's, you know, what you read your horoscope as it's based on your day of birth.
you also have all of these other planets and points and astrological data set really that
helps you understand who you are, what it means to be who you are, the themes that continue to
occur in your life. And, you know, it's truly sort of the foundation of your identity. And then based
on the foundation of your identity, you'll find that you gravitate towards different relationships
or different themes, or there's different lessons, or there's different opportunities
all built around this incredible birth chart. I never knew what's, I knew like what the sun
meaning meant or like the moon meaning, but so my son is Pisces. So does like the sun was in
the position of Pisces when I was born? Yes. So each placement was in a Zodiac sign,
something that is often, um, it's sort of like a misunderstanding of astrology is that astrology
is not based on constellations. It's a division of the sky. So it's, there are, there is an
association between the Zodiac signs and the constellations, but it's not a one-to-one in
the type of astrology that I practice. So the type of astrology that I practice, which is
Western tropical astrology is what it's called. You divide the sky into 12 equal parts. And each
of those 12 parts is one of the signs of the Zodiac. So when you were born, it was Pisces
season. When you were born, the sun was moving through that segment of the sky that has been
allocated for Pisces, but the moon was in a different place. And what was coming up,
your rising sign also indicates a different sign. And this whole puzzle of all of these complex
pieces and ultimately parts create that whole, which is then the sky and your chart and through
astrology, your experience, your identity. So it's a little bit of, this is why you are the way you
are. Yes. And it's also like, this is what you can do with the way you are. Yeah. And to me,
that's that's really meaningful because one of my least favorite things is when people justify
their shitty behavior using astrology and there's also this trope that is so not real that dudes say
all the time which is like oh i was on a dating app and they swiped left because i'm a scorpio
and like i've truly never met a person to do this however this concept of like typecasting
or stereotyping or, you know, being the worst version of your sign and using that to justify
whatever you're doing is not, that's not my game. You know, I don't like that. That's
obviously just bad behavior. Instead, I see your birth chart, including your weaknesses
as opportunities. You know, you have those placements for a reason. What are you going
to do with them? Right? Like what are the ways that you can express the multidimensionality that
you have in your birth chart, what are the choices that you can make that help you align
with your truest version of yourself? And what are the different things? So you have the sun,
the moon, and how many different things are you measuring at one time? There are a lot of things,
but people, when they first start getting into astrology, usually default to what's called the
big three. And from that, you have the sun, which is where the sun was when you were born. And this
represents your identity, your presence, sort of your sense of self, your preferences, how you
shine, how you illuminate space. It really is like how it's kind of does a solar thing. It's like how
you occupy an environment. Then you have the moon, which represents everything that is going on
behind the scenes. It's your emotional inner world. It's your sensitivities. It's the way in
the same way that the moon is a reflection of the sun. It's how you feel about the circumstances that
you are in every single day. So there are some people who have, you know, it's very harmonious
and there is an easy flow between the way they externalize and then the way that they feel.
And then for a lot of people, especially for the people who find themselves really gravitating
towards astrology, often there is a disconnect and the way that they externalize is so radically
different than the way that they emotionally interpret those situations. So for me, for
instance, that was a huge turning point is understanding that. But then the other aspect
of the big three is the rising sign. This is what was coming up in the Eastern horizon at your exact
moment of birth. And your rising sign shows the themes of your life. It shows consistently what
you are going to be experiencing again and again. And it's kind of like your outlook on reality.
So whereas the sun is sort of how you exude and take up space and the moon is how you feel,
how you continue to experience your world, you know, the road that you continue to drive
down and navigate is the rising sign. So those big three is like an amazing entry point. And then
from there, we can go into Mercury, which is how you communicate and Venus, which is the things
that you value and Mars, which is what drives action. And then there's even more. So it's just
this like, it's great for anyone who loves a good Wikipedia black hole. Astrology is like
Perfect. Yes, exactly. 3am astrology, Googling chef's kiss. Okay. So most importantly, before
we move on to our situations, are Courtney and Travis going to make it? I know you wrote an
article for Cosmo about this. So Courtney and Travis have, so I did a whole segment on my show
with people magazine on Courtney and Travis and Megan Fox and MGK. Oh, I need to know that too.
Putting them together because you have, because they keep taking pictures together. So obviously
you have to do their charts as a, yeah, as a quad. Yeah, exactly. Um, and they both have these
really beautiful astrological signatures, both of the couples and their charts. And I think that
both of them have the potential to have babies next year. I believe it. I believe it too. They're
definitely f***ing like crazy. They're f***ing like rabbits. Rabbits. It's really exhilarating
watching these couples. I'm sure. Okay. We're going to find our own suns and moons. Okay. I'm
ready. So Kelty, I am really thrilled to let you know that you are an Aquarius sun with a Pisces
moon and a Virgo rising. I knew, I knew it. I, that's why I was like, I bet you can guess. Yes.
Yes. I don't even know what Aquarius means. Just FYI, your rising sign is exactly conjunct her
moon. Right. And it's that, that's a good thing, right? Yes. It's really lovely. Wow. Okay. You
guys all have a lot of really, so in astrology compatibility is called synastry and it's the
way that different charts illuminate each other. Are we sinister? Yeah. You're set. You're
sinister. Does Jack have any Pisces in her chart? Well, everybody has, um, every sign in their
chart, but it's if you have planets in it. Oh. And the answer to that is no. Got it. Okay.
That's surprising to me because Pisces is like very creative. Yes. There's, there's other
creative points that we'll talk about. Um, but going back to Kelsey's chart for a second,
the question of what does it all mean? Um, let's just break it down. So the rising sign is usually
how I start a chart reading because the rising sign in my practice is sort of like the instruction
manual. And then all of the other planets kind of fall into place in accordance with what the
rising sign believes to be true, because the rising sign is your perspective on reality. It's
your vantage. So the rising sign for you is a Virgo, and Virgo is very much associated with
healing and helping and wanting to be of service and wanting to do it in a really practical way
driven by communication. So then the chart is going to show us how do you feel the best way
for you to exercise that mission is. And on a solar level, so this is what we interact with
and we experience, you're an Aquarius, which means that you are really interested in new ideas.
You're very cerebral. You're very intellectual. You're really interested in like understanding
things, philosophy, challenging things, questioning. There's just a lot of big ideas,
but your emotional inner world is very different. It's not as cerebral. It's actually extremely
sensitive, extremely intuitive and big, big, big feels. However, I would not be surprised if having
all of the big feels that you have can sometimes be overwhelming and daunting for you because you
really try to be neutral. You really want to not put yourself in the situation. You want to stay
out of it. You want to give other people platforms. You want to give other people space to be
themselves. So it's almost like your big, deep feelings are like, no, stop it. Don't feel that
way. Like let other people have their moment. I don't want mine to interrupt, but that's your
empathy and that's your intuition. And that's what makes you a beautiful, complex and spiritually
aligned person. So I definitely would invite you to keep allowing yourself to feel as much
as you need to feel, because that's what makes you who you are. Now I have a question. She's
just like speechless. I think Kelty, this is totally me. I don't know, armchair expert in
this, but is there a world in which Kelty is not using her Virgo? Like one of the things is like
not it's not allowing her to be like simpatico with the Virgo placement in particular
yeah like is there could she kind of attack like knowing she has the Virgo rising is there a way
that she can like realign her like train of thought or the way she operates to make it easier
for her I guess because it's like we know Jack and I know that Kelty has empathy and wants to
help others. And there's this like really well-intended human underneath everything,
but I think it gets lost in translation with the way she operates in the world. Does that make
sense? Yes. Yes. I'm curious, Kelty, is that how you feel also? Yes. I feel like I'm that friend
that people are always like, like throughout the past six years of Lady Gang, multiple times,
different guests or people that we've interacted with have come to Jack and Becca and been like,
why does Kelty hate me? And I truly have never hated. I hated one person in my whole life. Like
it's not that I don't hate you. It's that I don't even notice you. And I know that's like so dark
to say that out loud. But the truth is, is that like, I, I, I guess what you're saying kind of
makes sense. Like my feelings can be so big that I don't even really let myself feel most of the
time. I just sort of like have learned as an escape mechanism to not have any new friends,
to not get close to people, to not like really exist in the world. Like I just do business and
then I go home and like self self soothe, if you will. I was like a mechanism, I think at the end
of the day. Yeah. Yeah. And I would say that, you know, was, and this is, you know, the work that I
do is obviously intense and heavy. So bear with me. But the question that I would ask is like,
were you safe to emote when you were young, you know, and if you weren't safe to have the big
feelings and from one Pisces moon to another, I can tell you that the big feelings are
cataclysmic, you know, like the waves that we're talking about of feelings are not for the faint
of heart. So it couldn't, it's not even necessarily like bad parenting or ill-intentioned parenting,
But it's just like if a parent doesn't know how to deal with a child having really big
emotions, then it's easier for them to be like, don't feel that way or stop or, you
know, you don't need to you're being dramatic or you're being too sensitive or whatever
that languaging was.
And then as but then you had an Aquarius sun, which is an amazing defense mechanism, which
allows you to sort of disconnect, have that sort of separation, be very cerebral, be very
intellectual about and be like, I don't care, which is beautiful because your chart is structured in a
way that allows you to protect your sensitivities because you probably needed to protect them
because it wasn't safe for you to feel all of them. But as an adult person who now is aware of
your birth chart and is aware that that is something you can tap into, you can continue to
find ways to say, I'm allowed to feel this way, or I have this ping of intuition, or I'm having a
psychic experience right now. And it doesn't make me weird. It doesn't make me strange. I'm not,
I'm justified in the way that I feel. And I'm allowed to have this experience.
That's, this is actually insane. You know how they say everything happens like at a time
and a reason, like, I can't believe it's six years into the podcast because I have just spent the
last year of my life, like deep in therapy and figuring out these like sort of childhood wounds
that everyone has. It's your parents, like literally there's no one on the planet that
loves their daughter more than Jack's parents. And she still has wounds from like, whatever,
like, it's just the way your life goes. So like, shout out to my awesome parents. Like they're
amazing, but my brother's bipolar and, um, he's older than me. And so growing up, I think you're
absolutely right. I wasn't really allowed to have feelings because I needed to be a perfect child
because I didn't want to bother anyone. I didn't want to be a stress on anyone. I didn't, I wasn't
allowed to freak out and have these big fights or yell or needs. I didn't really need to have
any needs because I just wanted to be quiet and be easy and be perfect so that they could deal
with him, you know? And so in my life and in therapy, I've realized like, it's okay for me to
ask. It's okay for me to feel things. It's okay for me to need things. Um, and I think part of my
like nastiness in some ways is that I, I was only really sort of noticed when I was achieving
something really, really great. Right. Like it would be like a year of like, Kelsey's just great.
So we don't have to with her. Cause she just doing her thing. And then I would be an honor student.
I'd graduate like second in my class and people would be like, yay. And then I would get obsessed
with achieving so that someone would see me because when I was growing up, my brother was,
it was so dramatic and it was so loud and it was so all over the place that, um, I didn't want to
be seen. I was just trying to keep the peace. So this, yeah. And then also, you know, part of the,
it's very rare that somebody has such powerful intuition without there being something in their
household that created that. So oftentimes like we'll see people who have really profound
intuition or, you know, what I call as psychic abilities. And they come from a family where
there was someone who was mentally ill or an addict or someone who had like anger issues.
And then that person, that individual, that child self cultivates incredible extrasensory
abilities to be able to know when something is going to happen without it having happened
yet.
You know, you can identify like footsteps or smells or just the energy of a room based
on what was, you know, based on even just your brother and his state of being, and then the way
your parents were going to react to that. So all of those nuances ultimately translate into your
Pisces moon and then become your intuition. They become your psychic powers. They become your
ability to pick up on things before they happen. But because it was founded in things that were
overwhelming and also stressful, shutting that down makes sense because you're like, if my psychic
abilities only alert me to something shitty, that's about to happen. I don't want to know.
So I would rather pretend like I don't have any feelings at all and escape from these feelings
and have to deal with them because it could mean that something bad's going to happen.
Whoa. I love this. Okay. Let's do Jack. That was like spot on. Amazing.
okay jack you are a let me write it down for you yes okay taurus sun
taurus rising sagittarius moon among many other things what's a double taurus double taurus means
that you were born at dawn and you were you were born at 504 a.m so the sun was so the rising sign
is what sign was coming up on the Eastern horizon at your moment of birth. Everyone has a rising
sign, but not everybody has their sun and they're rising together because you would need to be born
at dawn for the thing that's rising to also be the sun. Right. That makes sense. Right. So you
have a shared, so the perspective that you have on reality emulates the way that you are living
your life. This is one of those examples of like a nice alignment, you know, where the things that
motivate you, the things that inspire you, the things that sort of drive you forward are true
to the things that you experience. And as a Taurus rising, the things that you're really
motivated by is like grounding, you know, building something solid, building a foundation,
but this is where the complexity comes in, in a lot of places, but just in the big three is your
moon in Sagittarius, which says, I hate being bored. I need adventure. I want to always go.
I want to do something exciting. I hate things being mundane. Nothing drives me more crazy than
that, but it's in conflict with the part of you that's like, but I really want stability and I
really want structure. And I really value those things. That's crazy. Cause it's so true. And I
think that that is where I had like a lot of instability in my mid twenties because I always
have to be on the go. And I think I was fulfilling like a void in myself because I didn't have that
structure like during that time. But that's, I feel like that's where I finally feel grounded
now because I have both of those things kind of at the same time. But here's another important
thing that happens and definitely important for your listeners, because everyone, including myself,
who's talking right now is on the other side of their Saturn return. And I wanted to ask you about
this. We're getting into it. We're getting into it. I say this thing called tank, which means
there are no coincidences. So you wanting to ask about it is like also just so tank.
The thing with Saturn return is that it's like Saturn represents time and astrology and there's,
and in the sort of most non metaphysical, non-magical way, you can't really tell someone
who's in their early or mid twenties about what matters until they're not going to get it. You
know, they need time in order to really be able to prioritize and see situations and understand
perspective and understand that the things that matter right now are not going to matter in five
years, but you can like be screaming at a 23 year old to get this. And there's just nothing that is
going to allow them to get it, but time. So the Saturn return is from an astrological perspective,
when you finally have enough time under your belt, where you are really the agent in control of your
life. And you're no longer trying to appeal to what your parents wanted you to do or what your
teachers or what your like freaky boyfriend wanted you to do. And you're like, no, this is my life.
I realized that I actually have a very limited amount of time in this, you know, in this
lifetime.
And I have to be really precious and careful with how I spend it.
And I don't want to just waste it.
That's really like the truest Saturn return experience you can have is having a, is coming
out of it.
So coming into your thirties with a different appreciation for your time and your life and
the choices that you make.
But like, you know, I was an astrologer before I had my Saturn return.
And I'm a Capricorn rising, which is very much associated with Saturn.
So I was like, Saturn return.
Like, I get it.
I was 27 and I was like, oh, absolutely.
I totally understand what it's about, but you really have to go through it.
You have to go through those 28, 29, 30 in order to understand like, oh shit, I actually
had a lot I needed to work through and I had a lot that I needed to accomplish in order
to get to a place where I'm proud of.
So I was recently talking about Saturn return with like a few friends and is there like
a specific, like an actual specific date when Saturn return starts, depending on your birth
chart, or is it just kind of the general, like 20 to 30?
It is specific based on everybody's birth chart.
Okay.
Yeah.
There's going to be specific dates.
Yeah.
When I put my, like my stuff in it, like aligned perfectly with like an event in my life that
I grew like so much from in like a year.
So I was like, wow, that's, it's was so accurate. It was wild. Yeah. I mean, your Saturn return
would probably have been in 2017 or 2018 based on your chart. When was mine? Let's see. Um,
Becca, yours was in 2015. 2015 is the year we started lady gang. 2015 is also the year that
I officially started dating Zach. Yours was in 2016, Jack. It was in December, 2016. So it was
at the very end of 2016. That was around my wedding. That was exactly it. Yeah. That was
the end. That was the end. That was the end. Whoa. That's so crazy. Yeah. Crazy. I love astrology.
I mean, it's the greatest. It's the greatest. Today's episode of Lady Gang is brought to you
by PhD Feminine Health. So I think it comes as no surprise that there is a lot of stigma

We could sit here all day with you and we will, but we, um, I want to tell, I want to ask you this.
If people are listening to this right now and they want to like come and have a session with you,
can they, or are you only available to celebrities and like in style magazine at this point?
I write, I am taking a break from one-on-one sessions at this moment. However, I have a
virtual community called the constellation club and I host new moon and full moon events,
which is twice a month because there's a new moon and full moon once each month. Um, and I connect
with people on this platform. So if people want to work with me more closely, that is the place
to do it. I love this. So you give a quick breakdown of my chart. Oh yeah. Oh wait,
Becca. I'm so wait. I'm so see, that's my thing. I'm not thinking about other people's feelings.
Okay. Here we go. Becca. Okay. Becca. So you have this really interesting. So we were talking about
synastry and how you guys have really nice synastry together. And Becca is kind of like the,
um, Becca is like the, it's not the wedge is like the, what's it called? It's like a
it's a joint becca is the job becca is the joint of lady gang because your moon becca is exactly
conjunct jack's rising sign in taurus right and your rising sign is conjunct kelty's moon in
pisces and then your son is in capricorn and the capricorn sun is like we have work to do
we got to get things done like these are all of the things we need to accomplish and achieve
And then the Pisces is like, we're going to have to tell stories.
We're going to have to get vulnerable.
We're going to have to speak from the truth, from our heart.
And then the moon and Taurus is also like, but we got to make this profitable.
We got to make sure that this is something that is going to sustain us long-term.
So it brings together the sensitivity.
It brings together the practicality.
And it's, it's the chart that both of your respective charts are sort of like contained
within and illuminated through.
so it's really beautiful hold your hand in Austin it's weird that I have holding your hand I have
so many Taurus women in my life so many really is that yeah it's probably because I have that in my
what do I how do I say it I can't say I have it in my chart I say it's
you your moon is in Taurus and also your Taurus node so there you go which is destiny
does that mean i'm gonna be really rich yeah
wait what about me am i gonna be rich what's their destiny really
as long as you all stick with becca you'll all be really rich
we mooch off of her so it makes sense yeah perfect but i mooch off of them for their
their skills they just don't know it yeah you do and i have to know it i just want to emphasize
this once more is that Becca and Kelty, you guys can really help each other unpack what emotions
and sensitivity and intuition are like, you guys are safe people for each other. So don't be afraid
to lean on each other when you're processing those emotions. You know what? That's very true. Kelty
is somebody who is always no offense to Kelty. Cause it's like, we talk about this all the time.
we're not each other's people. Like in personal life, we have our own separate friend groups.
We have our own lives outside of, of this work relationship, even though it's very special,
but I always am surprised when I open up and I'm having a hard time. And, and it's like with
Kelty and Jack at the, and Jack is just overall like a very sensitive person and easy to talk to,
but Kelty always kind of shocks me because I connect very well and very easily effortlessly
with her and she's such a like safe place to go to. And it's never what I think. I never think
that that's going to be the case. Yeah. That's so true. Yeah. In a way I, it's almost like Becca,
your willingness to be vulnerable allows Kelty insight into her own sensitivities.
Oh, okay. I feel that. I think that with both the girls, like Jack being so sensitive and then
Becca is like kind of hard and then when you peel her back like an onion she's a little bit more
like she showed what she doesn't show it all the time but when she shows it it's really I think
these two friendships have been very helpful in me understanding how people feel because does that
make sense it's like maybe I haven't had good examples of like how actions can hurt and feelings
can get and the ways to communicate without hurting people's feelings. Like they've definitely
been that. And I think Becca is someone that has been a catalyst to being like, so here's the thing,
like, yeah, you got to be careful about the way you something, because this is, I know you didn't
mean it that way, but this is how other people are taking you, you know? Um, and so that, that
has been really helpful. It's really interesting that that's like a star thing. Well, and you're
rising in Pisces. It makes sense because when she was saying you like to help people every time you
do love feedback that people love you and they think you're famous and all that stuff, but you
really are touched by people reaching out and saying that something we talked about really
helped them. Like that actually resonates very much with you. So I do think that like, yeah,
that's super true for you. Yeah. And I would say that Jack, the reason that you are probably
sort of being represented as the most sensitive one is because you do have a really nice alignment
between the way that you see the world and then your solar experience. Like it's not that hard
for you to access, like, this is what I want and this is what I need. And like, ouch, that hurt.
Or like, you know, I stop doing that and set boundaries as needed. Whereas these two are
much more all over the place. Yeah. That surprises no one. I think. No one. We're constantly
conflicted whereas jack is like oh i'm perfectly aligned in life is so easy well no i think jack
has this this ability like what you see with jack is what you get like she's not going to go to an
office and work at a job that she hates and is miserable and then like rage on the weekend
and live her best life at another like she's going to she is jack through and through everything
like you said, I think you were saying like her, the way her outer life and her inner life, like
she's still conflicted and she still has shit that she's dealing with. But Jack, I think who
she is here is like exactly who you see on this podcast, exactly who she's as a friend, who exactly
how she's architecturally like designed her life to be. She lives by the beach. She has the freedom
of a schedule. Like, you know, like it's, it's really, that's so interesting. She knows what
makes her happy. Whereas like you and I, we don't always know what's going to make us happy. Cause
we think a lot of different things and they're always conflicting things that we think are going
to make us happy. Yeah. I feel like that's where I kind of have like a simple vision where it's
just like, I know that this will bring me joy. So I'm going to do this and not. Right. Yeah. That's
your son and you're rising both in Taurus creating that alignment. Lucky bitch. Now I have a question
for you, are there any things with compatibility? I know people are always like, should I date a
Virgo or should I, whatever, but are there any, like, is your, should your risings really match
up or should it be like the three of us where my, you know, like I share a rising and a moon,
like, what do you think is the most important? I guess it could vary depending on signs, but
what should you look at? Well, you really should look at the whole chart and you should find how
two people relate to each other. Um, because compatibility isn't really ever the question.
There's always going to be compatibility. It's more of how, you know, how are these people
compatible? How do they work together? What lessons and experiences and stories need to come
through from these two people being bonded you know or these three people being bonded like
how do these patterns play out so you really do need to look at a whole chart in order to get
why you are attracted to someone or why someone doesn't want to be with you or like why there's
tension and why there's conflict just sun on sun is not going to give you that depth that you really
need sun on sun is going to show you the very surface level of like how two people both sit
on a couch you know like that's basically the extent of it but you know when for listeners who
are trying to unpack this for themselves I think that the opposite of your rising sign which is
called your descendant so you have your ascendant which is rising and then your descendant which is
what was setting when you were born is a really powerful tool that you can use to figure out not
who you should be with, but the type of relationship you should have, because this is ultimately what
you are striving to create and what you are sort of bringing into your life and what you're, it's
like that grass is always greener kind of sentiment where in order to find that, that would be a
completion that would feel whole, that would feel fulfilling. Is descending moon or is that totally
different. So it's, so it's no descending moon, it's ascendant and then there's descendant.
And yes. So for all of you, for Jack, this is Scorpio for you because that's the opposite of
Taurus. So those are relationship. This doesn't mean be with a Scorpio. It means have a Scorpio
type relationship, one where you can go really deep and it's psychological and you're really
intimate and you're telling each other secrets and you're holding a lot of truth and
you know, awareness of the complexities of each other. And there has, it has that sort of weight
and substance. And for you, Becca, that is Virgo, because that is the opposite of your Pisces
rising. So you are looking to find, or you're looking for a relationship that emulates those
Virgo qualities of like, how can I help? How can I be of service? How can I support you? How can I
practically improve your life. And then for you, Kelty, it's Pisces. So it's that spiritual
sensitivity. It's someone, it's that energy of like, I am safe to emote. I am safe to
be complicated. I am safe to have many, many different experiences simultaneously without
losing my core, without feeling like it makes me, you know, without feeling like it damages
my person in order to be that way. Wow. Damn. Well, I can tell you, we've never,
there's never been an episode of lady gang where all three of us were taking notes at the same
time. So you've broken the code of being the most interesting guest we've ever had on lady gang.
