Well, what is this?
Welcome to the Lady Gang.
That's amazing. Say that again.
The Lady Gang.
Things are about to change around here.
Each week, we catch up with Hollywood's hottest girl posse, Kelty Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jack Vanek.
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome to Lady Gang. I am Becca Tobin here with Jack Vanek with Kelty Knight.
Hello.
I almost can't wait for Good Week, Bad Week.
Why?
Because mine is just so, I don't even know the word for it. I think I'm just going to have to dive in.
I know, but you know, let me tell you, we were apologizing last week.
everyone loved crimes against ladies. Like people are, they want to update from Jennifer. Like
it went crazy. But then the one complaint was, but no good week, bad week. Don't worry. We're
going to give it to you hard to die. And I do have to say, we were going to do that episode
as a quickie, but the story was so enthralling that we're like, well, now it's an hour long
and this is too good to just throw in as a Thursday episode. So that was why.
Boom. Let's do it, Becca. All right. It's time for
good week yes it is bad week oh no i don't know if it gets worse than this you guys
oh no i'm allowed to finally talk about it because the trailer is out or whatever the
it's called we did celebrity weakest link me oh yeah this is exciting no it's not no
so i just want to preface this by saying i've known my whole life since being in school
that I have some sort of learning disability.
Like, I don't know specifically what.
I have not known all of these years what it was.
But this show very much highlighted my deficiencies.
And I'm not going to tell you how it ends.
I'm not going to tell you.
I'm not going to ruin this for anybody.
However, I will be going into the Witness Protection Program
after this show airs.
you did tell me what happened and I don't know what happened. She can't, you have to see it.
We, I thought we told you. No, I'm pretty sure that there is one clip of me already answering
a question dumb on the internet. Can we play it? When does it air? Is it, will it air by now?
When we're in New York in September together. So you'll have to hold my hand through this.
So I, okay. I don't want to drag this out, but I kind of have to, I just want to get it off my
I want to, I'm Googling you while you're talking. So I have always known this about myself. There
are just certain things I don't do well at, right? There are certain games I'm not good at. There's
certain, I just, I have a processing issue. Okay. And I was very nervous when asked to do this,
but it's for charity it's for jane it's gonna be you would do anything for jane i would do
anything for jane that bitch officiated my wedding okay yeah and i didn't pay her um so
i was like you know what becca and then i was on the phone with the producers like beforehand
because they're prepping you about the show whatever and i was like do i need to study
anything like i'm nervous and they said no it's definitely not as hard with the celebrities as
it is for geniuses that go on the weakest link so i saw no i just saw the clip play it play it
this isn't the worst one by the way this is the this is the most benign
break that chain which will take you back to zero to be called buffalo wing they must contain
at least 51 buffalo true oh
no he called a buffalo wing it must be 50 buffalo you said true like you knew that
immediately like you killed the buffalo yourself yeah yeah like can jessica simpson chicken of the
sea that was a honestly that is a chicken of the sea moment that wasn't the worst one there's one
in there that i hope to god like if there is a god that footage has been lost did i'm not going
to spoil it. Didn't I have to do something with milk? No. Why did I? No. You know, I thought that
because we're getting Starbucks when you told me and I ordered a latte. I remember you telling me
this in a Starbucks in New York city. Hold on. Take me back to Buffalo wing. What's going through
your mind? Okay. So let me just tell you, let me just, let me just come around and tell you,
I'm not making excuses. I'm not, I'm not a genius. Okay. I know this, you know, my sensor,
my sister has a Mensa IQ. My mom did not tell me what mine was, but she definitely didn't tell me
it was Mensa. Big surprise. Um, so I, okay. I'm not making excuses, but I am going to tell you
the chain of events. Tell us exactly what you're feeling. Okay. So they, like it's a sconce on our
houses. Okay. Here's your sconce story. I'm sorry for anybody who does not care. So I was shown all
these sample clips of the show, right? The trivia, the, this, all the things. And I'm watching it
and I'm like, yeah, he's right. These, these questions are not hard. They're not hard. They
get harder, I think as the, yeah. But I'm like, these are simple. I'm not that nervous. And when
you're watching the show, the contestants are standing behind these podium. Yeah. Like a podium.
And if there's like a question that has a picture, they'll say, look down and look at the picture on
your podium and tell me X, Y, Z. So when you're watching the show on TV, Jane is saying the
question and then the written question is below her, right? For the viewer. Yeah. To read like
a subtitle. Yeah. Okay. In real life, I got there and we did a practice round and I panicked because
I realized that for the contestant, you're actually not given the written question in
front of you you are having to hear it from jane oh that's so hard that's i have known that it's
harder i am a visual learner beyond belief like a visual comprehension person when it comes to i i
knew this from being on set of glee i would be astounded that people like darren could stand
there on set without holding the script and just yell out like hey what's my line here he hears
somebody say it and then he can recite it perfectly. Yeah. I will hear somebody say it
and I will have, my brain cannot, cannot grasp onto anything except like every four words. Right.
So I have to see everything. Right. So Jane's standing there in front of me and also you're
being timed. So the timing of it makes you panic and have like, I probably should have taken a
beta blocker. How long do you get for, it's not like you're not going against somebody, right?
It's not like you're going to feud.
No, like we have to say it faster kind of.
Well, you're going one at a time down the line and there's like, you know, a three minute
round or whatever.
So if it comes to me and I take too long to answer the question, you've wasted the time,
right?
I can't get us up to the amount of money that like I could.
So people go pretty quickly.
In hindsight, I should have just been like, take your time, whatever.
Um, but I didn't.
And so Jane stood there in front of me, said these questions.
I heard every third word and I was panicked and I blurted out things that you can't even
imagine.
And Jane even said to me during the break, she's like, you're not, your soul's not even
in there.
Oh my God.
No, she did not.
Yes, she did in a nice way.
And I was like, Jane, I can't, I can't tell you what's going on.
Like, I just, I, I'm not, this is not where I thrive.
And I just, here's the thing.
It's just being kicked when I'm down because I've had multiple experiences as of late,
probably the last, this summer actually has been a, a chain of events.
Like I talked about being on Stassi's podcast and how everybody talks shit about me or to
me, um, for being a hateful person and, and hating Christmas.
And I just have had all of these things happen where I'm like, I just want to go away.
I just want to crawl into a closet, not have a microphone in front of me, not have a camera
in front of my face not be under scrutiny not have like I know it's like wow wow poor me but
you know when it's you just have a thicker skin when things like this happen and you can laugh
about it and I can certainly laugh about it now but when I tell you I lost hours of sleep thinking
and stressing about people seeing this show and thinking that I'm the dumbest person that has ever
existed truly like I'm not even trying to sugarcoat this I think I'm glad I'm glad I
I did it I think question mark it was a lovely experience everyone was so nice
everybody was so supportive um but I'm like by far was the dumbest person to be on that entire season
are you sure yeah oh yeah oh yeah when you see the zinger that i had of all zingers
you're gonna be like you have some there's something wrong with you there's something
deeply deeply wrong i you know this is this is what it is i mean it's it's why i couldn't sit
in class and listen to a teacher tell tell me anything and retain it yeah yeah like it's it's
truly and it's then it's like you're putting it's so much it's so much even somebody that's good at
that you're put in a high stress situation you're being filmed you have all these eyes on you it's
like how the hell are you supposed to retain anything even if you're good at that like now
it's going on national television too it's pretty devastating oh my god i would be sweating sweating
now as your success coach i'm sitting here stewing i'm not commenting because i'm thinking about
how we turn this around. First of all, I welcome to the dig a hole club. I feel this every day,
every day. I do something that I want to go to a hut in an Island and be like, I'm by the way,
this was it. This was, this was the last thing I could say that made everyone mad at me or I,
you know everyone hate like whatever and I think you're absolutely right and I think this is really
relatable for like not just the Hollywood girl but the everyday girl it's like we all kind of
wake up with this armor and the at times in our lives it's like the chink in the armor like you're
pretty good you've got a thick skin and you're like okay I can take the little side things or
the weird thing on the internet or whatever it is and then like eventually they just start to get
to the flesh and then once you're like armor is chinked then the flesh you're so sensitive so it
doesn't matter so like it could be a stupid thing that normally you could laugh off and you just
can't laugh it off and that's like that's a hard place to be so I'm sorry because it's actually
funny and you're adorable and you're so pretty and like all of those things it's so cute because
anyone that knows you knows that like you would stress that you would want to study that you want
to be perfect and like that you just like this is not you this is not where you shine and so like
the fact that you showed up for jane because you're a nice person like everyone else would
be like i'm gonna be bad at this i'm not even doing it so like yeah you know this is actually
like what is so lovable about you is that you are so loyal and you show up for your people
and you cared you care so much you care so much um and so i hate the armor and don't run away
because we need you. But I do feel like if there's any part of you that can own it, like you said to
me a few weeks ago, you were like, you just got to own your, not your cringe, but like you just
own that. Like you really want the fame or you really want the thing that that's what people
love about you. So I think that like you, if, if there is a way to own it, you could go so viral
and like well i know you don't this is not what you that's its own beast no i will say i will say
okay so while we were doing the game i think my podium i was next to heather and then i think on
the other side of heather was cord and um cord was funny because like he didn't he let he was like
i'm not gonna vote you off like even though you're an idiot like i want you here for this
entertainment and not, not in a hateful way. Right. And then I got home and I was still just
like, Oh my God, I'm going to just, I'm going to die when this airs. And he sent me an Instagram
story and there's like these really iconic bad answers, like a, like a montage of the worst
answers you've ever heard. So I am definitely going to be inserting my moments from this show
into that because it's the only way I was like, thank God I have this. Thank God he sent it to me
because this is the only way I can promote being on the show because I can't, I can't be like,
check us out and like not say a word. I'm going to be like, check out the worst thing you'll ever
see me do. I mean, my, my vagina has been on the internet pictures of my body, my naked body. I
would rather, I'm telling you, I was laying in bed that night and nights following thinking I
would rather wake up tomorrow and see more nude pictures of myself on the internet than have this
air. I swear to God, but that's what you have to lean into. You have to post it and be like,
like, Oh, there's so many ways that we can be like, I'm so pretty. And I did say that. I did
say that on the show. I said something like, well, this, you know, like at least I'm pretty
or like, I don't even know. I just like verbal diarrhea. It was just lean into it. And, and also
I think then you, you go viral for it or you put it out there because this is the thing you make
great television and hollywood is not using you why are you not on cake why why are you another
chink in the armor just a chink in the armor go high no i mean using you in the way of like
why are you not on is it cake why are you i am not doing another you know what's so up is after
the show after we after we filmed the show panelists becca's such a funny oh yeah i'd
to be on a panel like as a judge not that's what i'm saying like you got to be like the celebrities
are going to judge your craft on craft wars and like here's our craft it's project runway you know
like it's true yeah they need more personality everyone is boring and we've literally like we
cannot have the same five people that are being booked on everything to be the guests on everything
continue to do it we need fresh blood out there and you're gonna give it to us and i mean the
the producer that does this show also does like the pyramid show,
like million dollar pyramid.
Exactly.
After it wrapped,
after it wrapped,
after I made an absolute fool of myself,
he's like,
would you ever do pyramid?
And I looked at him,
I go,
you.
Oh my God.
Thank you very much.
And he's like,
no,
I was like,
you should just go around and this should just be your wheel of fortune.
Yeah.
Crossword with Piki.
It's your new career.
And you see if it's the redemption era.
and then you just literally redeem myself that's the problem he's like i know i couldn't have done
better like i just am like yes did i know the correct answers in height like if you had asked
me those questions in a normal across the table having coffee if you'd said in order for a buffalo
wing to be considered what i've said that no so it's like out out of context yes i could have
answered all these questions appropriately i that is where i where i failed hold on i can see i see
the reel we need to make it's jessica simpson singing the real me is a southern girl and then
she goes it's chicken or is it fish and then it's a with a green eyes on and a rope in hot and it's
becca buffalo 51 yes true that's a great one that's great it's just those two i need her
honestly i think this is going to be a launching and oh no i'm thinking of all the different viral
moments that we can have for this yeah i you know and then like it can be wait we can do like a new
heights one like for the new heights podcast when they're like and it's like tune in this week for
excellent conversation kill me is buffalo true honestly i'm just glad that someone else is here
in the club jack is still perfect with her words but like becca come on down to the i'm super you're
still smart and successful well that's what makes it okay also yeah i've discussed this before i
don't think they should be called buffalo wings i'm just gonna like not to double down here buffalo
new york that's why it's true it's where they're from but it's like this is why people should meet
okay it's crazy is because it's you're playing for money and i you know i've been on other sets
of other shows and you can do things over right like i i could have been like you guys like if
that had been any other forum, I could have been like, I will die if this comes out, but because
it's real money, there's lawyers on set. There's literally, it has to be every moment has to be
filmed and has to air as is there's literally like, Oh, so as it's going to, it's like watching
a runaway train and just being like, I'm standing here at this podium and it's only going to get
worse and there's no stopping this train. I, I'm so sorry. And I love it. Like, I just think this
is, I loved it when you told me, like I was obsessed. I think people will love it. I don't
think anybody's going to judge. I mean, haters are going to be haters, but I think the general
consensus is going to be a positive one. It's so kitty. It's so kitty wild. No, she was smart.
It's very like Heather Morris's character, whatever, what, Brittany, Brittany?
Yeah.
And she's bright and brilliant.
And everybody on that stage is bright and brilliant, except for me, truly.
I actually was very proud to be among, you know, such intelligent people.
The best of the best.
The best of the best.
Who else was on it?
Cord, Heather.
Cord, Heather, Amber, Dot Marie Jones.
Oh, yeah.
Max Adler.
Wait, there is one more.
Oh, Jenna.
Oh, my God.
Wait.
there's one more viral moment you know for so long everyone's like leah michelle can't read
oh i thought of this you should do like a really serious like put some sad music in front of like
hey guys i wanted to come like like like get ready with me i want you made up the rumor because you
can't read yeah be like i i wanted to come and tell you for many years i did something horrible
to my friend i was afraid of my truth coming out and i spread a rumor about someone close to me
that they couldn't read and the truth is and then and you don't say i can't read you just
then put the clip the clip the truth is i was trying to hide my own my low iq
oh god you know it's just so and then people are so rude on the internet like when they launched
like on weakest link they like announced on instagram or somewhere
and the comments are like oh so it was a glee reunion but it was only the people that need the
money you're like jokes on you i didn't get paid i think i did say something awful and when i was
there because we all choose our charity like if we win the money goes to our charity of choice
and i you know i chose something for foster children foster love is the is the non-profit
and i didn't know what anybody else chose and like as i was really my ship was sinking i was
like well you guys are going to be really sorry like to the producers i was like because i bet
you some of these losers chose a dog charity yeah i bet i love money laundering charity you know
what if you if you your animal charity wins like you wait so it's like your personal charity so
one person went obviously not like playing for this no i know what that i just didn't know
it's obviously not a team yeah like you are a team because you're trying to get as much money
as you can like so you vote people off that are the weakest link and then do you leave the stage
or are you just you leave you leave the stage and um then you have to go do interviews for like et
and stuff so that's fun too that's cool and i'm sure they took out my excuses to i mean i actually
like i'm sorry we're still talking about sconces but i felt like not to be like boohoo boohoo but i
left i like went into my trailer and i was like if i were like a touch more insecure about my
intelligence this would have really hurt me like this would have really really broken me and I
it already did in a way like I was like horrified humiliated and so disappointed
in myself but like even me who I know I'm not an idiot like I know I'm not an idiot
even for me I left being like so upset like just so upset um so I don't know that's that's how it
goes guys. Now back to the lady gang. My good week is that I actually realized with, I know
we're going to talk about it on this podcast, the engagement of, you know, Taylor and Travis.
And I was really, you know, as me being like a new fan of Taylor's and being like still having
a disconnect between me and the girls on the internet crying over Taylor's engagement, right?
Like they're crying for people they don't know. Neither of them know. They don't know either of
these people and they're crying out of joy. And I'm like, listen, find your joy. But I was like,
what is it? Like, what is the thing that makes me a fan of Taylor Swift, but not a
like die hard cry when she gets engaged. And I realized because of the girls that I follow on
Instagram, there is a reason the girls that were crying, I can guarantee you they're the same girls
that got straight A's in school and never had a detention. Yeah, it's me. No, I did that.
Jack, you're kind of a, you're kind of an outlier in this, but like, but maybe it's not that every
girl who got straight A's and not detention is crying for engagement. But I think 99.9% of the
girls who are crying over the engagement and really excited and analyzing like the length
of her fingernails from the podcast versus the picture of her engagement ring and like they're
trying that oh my god so it's the girls that identify the girls that identify so deeply and
see her so deeply and feel so seen by her are the straight a girls who never got detention
prove me wrong no yeah listen i well first of all i think if the people that like me that see it so
deeply it's because did you cry i didn't cry but i gasped and it became my personality first since
it's happened that's all i thought it's all i thought about emotional about it i'm i'm not
emotional like well i can't cry i'm on way too many pharmaceuticals to even like shed a tear
like i have i'm so or have an emotion i don't have emotions right now i'm a robot but if i
could cry i would i think what it represents to me is like the it's like a royal it's our royalty
it's our royalty but in a way that like like i know what it is i mean what is it because people
like girls identify through her so much in the way where it's like you've grown up with her since
you're 15 well and just like you know she's had bad boyfriends if she can do it then i can do it
even though it's like keeler swift is a billionaire and the most but a lot of these women crying
are married already happily married yeah it represents i honestly don't i i don't connect
it represents the like the girl who's like she's been through it and you were like you know all of
her songs like i think what she said on the podcast she's a billionaire selling out arenas
like yeah okay maybe she's been unlucky in love so have i so has everyone exactly and that is
married people that is what she represents no but that's no but it's not it because i have been
i've had shitty things happen and that whatever whatever been unlucky or whatever in moments of
my life 400 albums no but i'm saying i she does not but what i'm saying is like it doesn't do it
for me even though she also represents somebody who's been through like all the i there's i don't
know what so i couldn't figure out what the divide was i'm like this girl that i follow is happily
married or appears to be has her own life her own success her own the things and she's crying
over this person she doesn't know it's the fairy tale but who still believes in fairy tales as a
grown woman you don't and you have nothing to believe in and taylor and travis give us something
to believe okay all right we're like but nobody knows anything about their relationship that's
the other thing i'm like there's literally like one hour there's self-produced documentaries and
then there's her on a podcast with travis like nobody's even seen her talk like nobody's even
really like it's not like she has a podcast and people think they know her exactly it's her music
that's where people project themselves onto her exactly that's why the less is more it's like we
are all her because it's like if you come and listen to the podcast you know about our bowel
movements and you can really make an educated decision am i a keltie a becca or a jack you know
with taylor it's a little bit what wishy-washy she's who you want her to be exactly i think
she is the human mobile yeah somebody had said something where it's like she talks about her
feelings and not her opinions 100 so it's like people can just like project i think i saw that
oh you did good thing that i didn't just try to say that as my own thought because i knew somebody
else i wasn't the first person out of that fucking fault uh thought and maybe i just got it from
somebody i don't know i think earth is a dumpster fire everything's hard watching this love story
of him being like i wanted to meet her like just saying something stupid on a podcast being like i
wanted to meet her and then them dating was like no the love story is cute and then him on stage
and then he writes the song about her or she writes a song about him and then the mom is like
what song oh my god i feel so high school that was about him isn't that an old song no it's new
it's on tortured poets and he's like she's like i didn't know either jack you're the baller i know
aristotle i know i just i just added it to my new drawing i did of her that song i thought it was
old well don't put this podcast on try to sell you did a drawing of taylor swift i am so i'm
gonna sell it oh okay oh no i just didn't know i was don't talk about that i don't get it also i
would argue that i like all the people of all the people who should be touched and moved by this
engagement i think it should be me i had dinner with them with them i mean at a table next to
them in New York city. Exactly. You're the one who got to experience them in real life. I saw
their love IRL and it's real. I don't, I believe it's real. And that's also why I'm happy for her.
But I never cried at any of my friends engagements nor mine. I mean, I did,
but I had a panic attack. It was a bad cry, but you cried. I cried actually a lot.
With your mom in the corner while I ate the cookies that Jared had prepared. It was delicious.
No, but I do. Wait, I want to go on record. I do like Taylor Swift. I listened to the whole
podcast, but again, I'm the same as Becca. I have a disconnect, but I don't connect to
anything anymore. Like I wish I did. I don't, I don't, I, I wish I did. Like I look at people
that are so deeply connected to her and I'm like, I wish I cared that much about anything.
And I just don't. The, the last time I did like what people are saying where they're like my
friend FaceTime me and I cried and blah, blah, blah about the engagement. I'm like, I do that
when my friends who've had like three years of fertility struggles call me to tell me they're
pregnant. Like people I know creating a life, like people like that is when I get, I know I'm
not dead inside. So I'm like, I know, but that's the same emotion flowing through these people's
bodies. And I just, I was just laying in bed and I'm like, what, what is it? Like, what is it?
And it's straight A's. We just need some. Okay. Well, let me, I'm going to go on to my bad week.
You have to have had straight A's, Jack. Okay. Well then something's wrong with me,
straight A-ness. No, there's plenty of straight A women who don't feel that way, but there's
something, there's a Venn diagram I need to create, I think. Yeah, I get that. I'm going to
do my bad week because that has to do with this. So I am on E! News and the news has broken and
I'm doing live hits all over the country and I'm just going crazy. And I have said,
Taylor and all this information hours and hours and hours. So just let, let me know, let, let me
just tell you that I have talked about this for like probably 10 hours at this point. So then we
go to film e-news, which we film live to tape. So thank God, because this is probably my biggest
of all time. So what's interesting is like now that e-news is sold and it's moving into a streaming
sort of situation there's like a lot of executives around all the time like law the new bosses and
you know there's a little bit of me the straight a girl trying to prove myself like i'm the best tv
host you should definitely keep me on because i can really nail this so i'm standing there in
front of all these people doing a live or doing a live to tape read and i'm like nailing it and in
my head i'm nailing it so much that i'm even thinking while you're really nailing it while
i'm reading it while things are coming out of my mouth which is a recipe for disaster and i'm i'm
talking and i go and we have to talk about the ring a rumored million dollar cushion or no a
million dollar diamond so beautiful by this blah blah blah blah and it's a perfectly shaped cushion
cunt and it's it's giving off yep cushion cunt that is great god i wish that aired live i wish
we had a merch i tried so hard to get the footage i was like please we're canceled what are they
gonna do fire me and they're like the legal ramifications of like having i was like i'll
bleep it i'll bleep it it was so funny it would have gone so viral forget about it would have been
a star i know i can't believe i can't have it and i'm so mad and what's so funny about it is that i
just i walk off stage everyone's like freaking out justin looks at me and i go i guess i've been
using that word too much lately yeah it just rolls off the tongue it rolls off the tongue
that is so funny oh my god jesus christ
you're listening to the lady gang okay uh you know it's just so funny because you know as i
go through life i write down all my good weeks and bad weeks and like i'm looking at my list
and I truly only have bad weeks. Um, like I don't have a single in good week. Um, you know,
I, so I'm gonna just say this. I went to Pilates yesterday. No, I, okay. I'm going to double,
I'm actually going to break this up. I'm going to double bad week it. Okay. I, I, you know,
I like the Pilates reformer and I've been doing a mix of like heavyweights at home and then my
Pilates reformer. And I, I've never been this person. I don't give a what the other people
are wearing. If they're gross, if their hair, like what their toes look like, like, I do not
care. Like I am just, I'm locked in most of the time on the Pilates room where my eyes are closed.
I'm trying to like meditate and just like think through my brain. The woman beside me had the
worst BO I have ever smelled. And it would, and it, and she, did she know maybe, you know, like
you get up, you're running to get to the class, you forget to your deodorant and you're a stinky
person. It was every time she like did tree and brought the arms up and down, I got like a little
waft. It was actually so bad. And I think I'm super sensitive right now, always, that I almost
had to leave the class. I almost had to get up and say, oh my God, I forgot I had a work meeting
and like leave. And then I was like, no, your hot ass wants you to push this thing. Anyway,
it was horrific. And it's been since I was in high school and I had a dance partner who also
had BO that I have experienced this BO. And now I sound really mean, but I'm just letting you know
it was horrible. No, it's not mean. Why is BO so smelly? Well, I think sometimes people don't
shower. I think that's when it gets worse. It was definitely a pit BO and not a vag BO.
No, I know. But still like bacteria, you know, grows in warm, hot places and your pits are one of them. So you have to shower. So even if you do sweat, even when you do sweat, like it's not it's offensive. Obviously, the smell is still offensive. But I do wonder if like when it travels like that, if it if it's not just like it's showering more consistently, because think about it.
anybody, I mean, even like a big guy like Zach, if he forgets deodorant, like he'll get B.O.
He's not that stinky.
No, but like you don't stand next to him and get a waft of B.O.
Like you get B.O., but not like the bad, bad, bad smell.
Yeah.
And then I was like, because, you know, I'm always thinking about like when I run off
to the circus, what I'm going to do with my life.
And so I was like, oh, I might take the reformer teacher training and just become a Pilates
teacher.
Like what you come in, you play your playlist and you leave.
there's nothing to take home. You're free. No, you don't take home your work, but you'd find a
way. You would definitely find a way. But, um, but so, you know, I'm thinking about that. And
then I was like, Ooh, not anymore. Okay. You don't want to, you want the wheel. Um, okay. So
my good week is that I took a surfing class in Hawaii. I did it all alone. You guys,
I'm actually very proud of myself. Yeah. And you looked hot. Oh my God. Well, I was like,
it was so hot there, but I'm really proud of myself because obviously I went to Hawaii with
my parents because I can't, none of my friends can commit to a trip. So I'm like, you know,
who can my parents, Jared was in Brazil. I'm like, I'm taking this opportunity to go on a nice beach
vacation. So I was there and I'm like, you know what? I've always wanted to do this. Kelty and
I've been talking about it for years, years. I'm just going to do it. And I signed up for a class
alone. I had a one-on-one instructor. Was it male or female? It was a girl. It was North Shore
girls surfing school or something. It's an all girls school, which I thought was really cute.
She's been teaching for like 20 years. She was amazing. And yeah, I'm like, I'm really proud
of myself. I got up there. And the problem was we were surfing over a reef. So, and it was very
shallow so when i'd fall off the board like a foot underneath me there would be i didn't hit it but
like you'd be kind of surfing along and i'd look down and i'm like there's a reef two feet below me
so i'd start freaking out you know like i'm like a sand would be nice that i couldn't like yeah
you know cut my and i'm like i don't know how to fall properly off of a surfboard but
anyways i think it did pretty good in one class you made it from
laying on the beach on the board pretending that you're surfing to actually standing
that's pretty is that normal i don't know i don't think so i've never seen surf like that
no i feel like jack looked like she had at least been taking multiple lessons like oh my god yeah
you stood up you looked like a natural i was very impressed with you oh my god thanks well she the
on the on land lesson was i'm not kidding three minutes long and i didn't even do it i just
watched her do it she's like then you're gonna do this this and this and she's like you're ready
to go in and i'm like i guess so because i'm like i also didn't want to just be on the sand like i
wanted to get in there and i've like tried surfing before like just like bringing a surfboard out
jared and i did it in costa rica he was so bad sorry jared and i was like i got up a few times
so i'm like i've like tried enough and i've boogie boarded a ton when i was younger so
um do they have surfing in dustin or no i don't think the waves are in a wave i used to boogie
board my ass off down there though i'm about to boogie board i love the freedom of a boogie board
being swept by the sea yeah yeah and i used to like get stand up on boogie board so i guess i've
like kind of sort of i'm not like an idiot preparing yourself for surfing your whole life
yes i really have um but then it's so funny because when you're up there you're like oh my
god i am like shredding this wave and then i see the video i'm like it's actually not even a wave
it's just like sort of like a bump in the water that's like pushing me through that's going so
slow and in my mind i was like i think i'm ready to join a competition yeah it was so insane and
then i'm like wow i'm like i'm really using my muscles and then i like see myself and i'm like
i'm barely even like kneeling but i am still sore from it i'm still sore it's been over a week
holy shit you would have thought that i was like lifting weights for for hours the way that my body
feels that's great i threw i threw both shoulders out my left shoulder is so up like that's what
happens when you're 38 and try to yeah do a new skill yeah i'm proud of you oh my god you can
cross it off your manifest list i know but my manifest is 11 to surf with you okay well we have
to surf now. I know. I want to see you on a board. I would probably be terrible, but
do you have a bad week? Um, just that I, my body, yeah, it's, it's tough. You know,
I throw my shoulder out sleeping, so it's like surfing. It's really a, you're crazy.
Maybe you need some physical therapy for your shoulder. I think I do. Yeah. Was it expensive
to take a surfing lesson it was like 150 for an hour oh but it was private huh you know when you
fell did you feel like your vagina fell out of your bathing suit no well because she told me to
fall flat so you kind of like what do you mean so you don't like fall head first because again
we're on top of coral so you fall flat so you like have a you don't go far down can I ask you
something about Hawaii this trip you took yeah what do you what in you is like I want to go to
Hawaii by myself but I need someone to go with me so I'll go with my parents like what is that
like like do you just do you have your own hotel rooms do you share a double queen what I shared
I shared with my mom and my dad had his own what well my dad snores like a crazy person and keeps
my mom up so she shared with me no I mean you know my parents they're so easy we just like
literally laid on the beach I painted it was actually very relaxing and I've been to Oahu
who so many times. So I'm like, I don't need to do the whole thing. I don't need to see every
single thing there. I wanted to go somewhere I've been so I could just like chill because, you know,
it's so hard for me to chill on a vacation. So it was really nice. It was, it was. And then like,
when you get up in the morning, are you like, okay, you guys go do something and I'm gonna do
something by myself. Or do you always as a trio? No, we just as a trio, but they're easy. They're
like, they're down for whatever. So it was really nice. They're good travel companions and they'll
just, you know, do whatever. That's really wonderful. I'm very happy for you. Okay. Well,
this was the world's longest good week, bad week, but we'll just, we're just going to go with it as
the episode. You know what I mean? Like we didn't have one before, so we had, yeah, exactly. Last
week we didn't have one and now you had all one, but we, uh, you know, we're just going to keep
going. It's like glee, cushion, cunt, and the surfing lesson, like the title titles itself.
And we just, Lady Gang, we love you guys. And I actually want to ask the Lady Gang,
if you've made it this far. Months ago, you said to us, we don't actually want any experts. We
don't really want any guests. We just want you guys to talk and be our friends. And so we've
given you that consistently this summer. We listened. Do you like it? Or do you need a break?
do you need someone to come on here and break this up? Because I love just hearing about my
friends' lives. And I think we're the most interesting people in Hollywood, but like,
do we need to get, I mean, obviously if we got someone so good, we would have them, but like,
you know, it's, it's now with the podcast, it's like, it's almost like a press tour.
So you're getting the same people that go on every podcast. They've already had this
conversation. It's like, they gotta be real special, like Paula Abdul for sure. But anyway,
that's my thought i want to know what you think and um love you forever and we will
see you next tuesday see you next tuesday social support from khali colera editing from jared
monaco producing from steve delameter and iconic hosting creating and being the gang gang of all
gangs by becca tobin jack vanek and kelty nine
